Went in for lunch with mom. Classic steakhouse look and menu. Mom is a prime rib fan so she ordered the sandwich. It came plated with a small salad. She enjoyed it although not served rare as she asked. I ordered the crab cake sandwich. Not a lot of flavor. For the prices, I prefer other steakhouses.

Greek yogurt was delicious but the commercial granola was not. The fruit was the typical melon, pineapple, strawberry sliced up. Nothing to compliment the delicious organic greek yogurt.... Burger with mushrooms and onions was bland. Not much onion. Not much mushrooms. Applewood smoked bacon was amazing. I think Costco sells it, and it is VERY GOOD and perfectly cooked. French toast with banana lime puree was odd. Didn't care for it at all.

Visited Harry's a few weeks ago with my husband to celebrate our anniversary. It was our second visit there, and after the fantastic service and food we enjoyed on our first visit, we chose Harry's for our celebration over our favorite restaurant in Philadelphia. On this visit, our service and food were both seriously lacking. It was a big disappointment, and I regret not telling management on the way out. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because our first visit was flawless, and I hope Harry's can resolve the lack of consistency in their service. I will give Harry's another shot, but will beware of the server we had a few weeks ago!

I have been to Harry Savoy's a few times now, and sat at the bar most of the time. I relly enjoy Harry's especially during their Happy Hour! On Thursdays they have half priced oysters, and their selection is fresh and diverse. They seem to have an oyster for every palate. Their drinks are also pretty good, I appreciate how they serve certain beers in chilled mugs. This is a great place to hang out, and meet up with friends or co-workers after hours.

I enjoy the atmosphere and the friendly staff. I've been here twice, and I must say that the first visit was much better than the second. I went for Mother's Day and I ordered the crab cakes that I remembered being so delicious. Unfortunately, the menu had changed and while I still got them, it just wasn't the same. One thing I don't like about Harry's is the small portions. For as much money as you pay for a dish, I'd expect more. They could also be less stingy with the bread basket as well. The desserts however, are amazing. I highly recommend the Belgian chocolate gourmandise for all the chocolate lovers. Overall, it was a good experience but not a place that I plan to frequent.

This place seems like a landmark, and the food is kind of representative of that. It's good and rather old fashioned. I had the prime rib with french fries and a glass of red wine. The service was wonderful, our waitress was very friendly. The decor of the dining room is very dark but pleasant enough. The prime rib was done perfectly and had the required jus to go with it. The fries were tasty and well made. The wine was passable. The prices here are reasonable. That's about all I got! Memorable, but not standout.

I had to lower my rating because I gave them a 2nd chance for my mom's birthday in March. Our meal was nothing like when we went the first time, for my birthday in January. The staff seemed distracted doting on the regulars and my food was so bad I didn't even eat more than two bites; it just tasted like salt. I couldn't even bring it up to the staff because, as I said, they didn't seem to really be interested and for $120 that's not acceptable. I contacted the manager Judy, whom I took care of me for my birthday and she apologized and sent me a $50 gift card. P.S. I gave Harry's Hospitality Group one last chance at their Seafood Grill (which I'm left a rating.) But for the amount of money one pays at these places, it shouldn't be "hit or miss."

A client brought us here when I was visiting Delaware and I was really surprised. it's a very nice space, similar to any nice restaurant in NYC, and the food was great. The menu is printed daily depending on what is fresh in the market. They are known for their prime rib but I ordered the salmon and it was delicious. The service was friendly and attentive as well. If I'm ever in the area, I would definitely go again. Pretty pricey but worth it. Great for a special occasion, business, or a date. Also, the single malt scotches here are so cheap!

This place has amazing food! The crab and artichoke dip is fabulous and the salmon is always great. My grandfather says they make fantastic martini's (he would know!). Also if you go here, do yourself a favor and request Will. He was fantastic. He was not your typical waiter. He did more than attend to us during our meal. He was very witty and made us laugh throughout the entire dinner. He is one of the best waiter's I have ever had. My grandfather says from now on he will only go to Harry's if Will can be his server. Seriously though he's great!

Went Saturday for dinner in the main dining room. We were a party of four and had a nice booth with Krista. She was an excellent server, I started with a Cosmo at the bar ande by Dave and it was good, for dinner I had the beef carpaccio. It had aioli and cheese, capers, red onions. It was delicious but very small for the $16 price. Next I had the center cut 12 oz, prime rib, I ordered it rare and it was served with a portion of au gratin potatoes. The prime rib was superb. It came with creamy horseradish and I asked for straight horseradish. It was so good, we ordered a side of spinach and green beans. Both were good. For dessert I had the fruit salad dessert, it was nicely done but again very small the cookie and almonds were nice tough. I had a Berlinger nightingale dessert wine with it. YUMMY! The whole experience was very nice, we finished up in the bar but I now was having diet coke before my drive, I would come back again for sure.

The wife and I were there on a recent Saturday evening and the restaurant was packed, however, they seated us promptly at our reservation time. The server was friendly and our meals were served in a timely manner. We had duck and venison and were perfect. We highly recommend this restaurant, they know what customer service really means.

This place was a bit of a disappointment. I was expecting too much perhaps. Somehow the food was not as good as it sounded on the menu. Crab cakes had little crab and lots of filler. The wine list was nice though. Service was fine. The atmosphere seemed old.

Pretty good. Stopped in here for lunch because I was craving a lobster roll and I was driving by. Thought the lobster roll had good flavor but was just a little too small for the price. And the homemade chips needed a lot more seasoning. Overall, okay food. Can't comment on anything else; only had one thing and only been there once.

1 out of 2 stars for Food 1 out of 1 stars for Service 1 out of 1 stars for Cleanliness 1 out of 1 stars for Atmosphere Portions are small but well prepared. Pricing for said portions is a bit high. They offered some very interesting cocktails. If I could give half a star here I would. The waiter was very friendly but when asked about certain dishes his response was to point to other tables and say "that's what they're having". The waiter could have been a little more attentive, several times members of our party were without a beverage. In all fairness, this could have been a bar issue. The restaurant is a nice space. The main dining area is very nice and the preferred seating area. Booths were located behind the main dining area. The fact that there are booths at all detracts from the "fine dining" feel. Due to the number of diners crammed into the space, noise levels are very high. Overall, I felt like I was dining at a fancy TGI Fridays, minus the flair badges.

A very popular place, and it tempts us to return. Wish we hadnt. The bar is lively, with good entertainment. Most wines are overpriced, as are the meals. It has a great location, with little nearby competition, and its not bad food. The point is, there are much better options just 5 miles further in any direction. My wife had pork cheecks over pasta, and recieved about a 1/4 cup of patsa....for $26.00! Really? My prime rib was fine, but not outstanding, and the lame horsey sauce was intolerable, i asked the server to bring me some real ground horseradish , which she did, but it proved nearly as lame as the Arbies sauce before. C'mon, for $34.00 i have much better options at Mile High, Sullivans, Walter's, etc.
Old School Steakhouse. Been there for years and there is a reason for it. Better than Harry's Seafood Grill.

I have been to Harry's many time over several years. 3 couples went for a Saturday dinner. Most of them were ok with their meals, not thrilled. Myself, very disappointed. Snapper soup, watery, flavorless and a very small portion in a wide bowl that made it cool quickly. Never again. My selection off the very limited menu was a fettuccini and shrimp dish. Pasty, globbed together pasta in a decent sauce with very large and flavorful shrimp. Had it been less mushy it would have been good. Others at the table shared lobster mashed and garic mashed potatoes. Both were very lacking in fthe flavor you would expect. Overall a so-so experience for a costly meal. Service was excellent, I must say.
Great service and ambience. Was expecting better food quality and portions esp considering the price you are paying for. Esp the fish we had was less juicy than what we expected. We had 4 different fish served in our table and all of us had similar feedback.

This used to be my favorite in PA/ DE by far. Typically only get here every 12- 15 months now. good: oysters are still some of the best I have had ( in USA) clam chowder - NO, not much clams, tasted dilute. Soft shell crab - VERY GOOD menu - very thinned out, selection of seafood not much; I know they are steak preferred ( actually prime rib) but they are also a seafood chain ( two locations actually) so always had a great selection. So while the soft shell crab was very good, only ordered that as last resort should have ordered the prime rib desert - went for the sugar free special and it was mainly fruit compote on biscuit. not fare to rate on sugar free ( always thought their creme brulle was great in past though)

We've eaten at Harry's many times over the years and even had a few large party celebrations there too. This restaurant reached its peak about 10 years ago, but food quality and service has steadily declined over the past over the past 5 years. Just above average these days. I would still recommend them for party gatherings - reasonable prices, nice facilities - though one time they pulled a last minute switch and stuffed our party of 14 in a back corner versus what was planned and agreed to.

I am between 2 and 3 stars. I went to a charity event just this past weekend here in their ballroom / patio area. Nicely decorated ballroom and the patio was too cute. Food stations were good. Cheese/Fruit Station, Pasta Station and Prime Rib Station. Cheese Selection was pretty good I was pleased to find out. Prime Rib Station was good. I just personally don't care for very uncooked meat. Just my little personal opinion. Dessert Station SUCKED!!! First off it was crammed into a corner after the coffee station and right beside the 3 piece band. This event was for 200+ people and we waited in line for 15 minutes to arrive at ONE TABLE with 3 Choices of barely two bite desserts!?!?!?! Strange But True. OK, it could have been the organizer's fault that the choices were so sparse and limited. It could have also been the organizer's fault that the tables were set up as they were. But the planner's at Harry's should have made suggestions to avert these two problems. No one likes paying top dollar, even for a charity event, and then waiting in line for 15 minutes to get a two bite dessert. Lastly, Who's brillant idea was it to build a ladies room for the LARGE ballroom with only three stalls?? I am guessing an engineer of the male persuasion? Nice decor, fabulous Staff.

This place is a gem in Wilmington. My parents moved to Wilmington a few years ago, and let's just say I don't really get excited about visiting them. Wilmington isn't exactly exciting. However, Harry's Savoy Grill has great ambiance, great food, and surprisingly reasonable prices. This place is about meat. The quality of the cuts are great, and the cooks know how treat them properly. I had the Jenny Farm House Burger, which is made with locally sourced beef topped with an apple fennel remoulade. While the remoulade had a nice, subtle tartness to it, the beef was (obviously) the star. It came with a hefty serving of fries too. I tried a bite of the open-faced Prime Rib sandwich. Wow. Perfectly cooked. Dishes here are simple, made with quality ingredients, and cooked well. The wine list is great, service is personable and the waiters actually know a thing or two about food.

Every once and a while the missus and I like to sneak down to the Wilmington area for some tax free shopping. We usually hit the malls along route 202. Harry's is across the street from most of the stores. This is a serious steakhouse with prices in line with others of this genre. It has a huge parking lot so finding a space is almost always a snap. The building doesn't look like much from the outside but don't judge this book by its cover. Inside the rooms are impressive and elegant. As others have stated, this is probably not the time for jeans and a t-shirt. I'll spare you several paragraphs on the food. Expect a fine steakhouse meal. Their specialty is prime rib so it that's your craving you're in the right place. By the way, the prime rib sandwich for lunch is amazing! The bar here is especially nice. I'd make a point to have a pre-dinner drink here first.

I went to Harry's for a monthly company dinner. Working in DE, I had heard a lot of good things about this place, so I was looking forward to our meal there. The waitstaff was very nice, but slow. Maybe because we had such a large party they thought it would take us a long time to decide on food. That meant we were left sitting with our menus for 15+ minutes, while eating the bread that was brought out to the table. I got the Jumbo Lump Crab Linguine, but asked to sub out the crab for mushrooms. The waitress commented at how good that sounded and that it would be really fitting with the pernod cream sauce that came with the dish. I wish it had been tasty....Or tasted like anything for that matter. I saw sauce on my pasta, but couldn't taste anything. The pasta was bland as well and tasted like they hadn't salted the water when they boiled it. I didn't eat more than 5 bites off my plate, wasn't worth the tasteless calories. Other people seemed to like their food, but I was the only pasta dish in our party. The table ordered a few desserts, one being the chocolate raspberry cake. It should really be labeled as "strawberry mousse with a chocolate cake crust" because that's what it was. I don't think I'll recommend Harry's for our next company outing.

Absolutely hands down one of the best meals I've ever had. I can't tell you how many google's I've done to try to find the name of this place just so I could a) do a Yelp review and b) make a note of it so I can go back if I'm ever in Delaware again. I was on a job interview for a radio station in Wilmington and was brought along for a dinner with station contest winners at Harry's with some American Idol recording artist. As soon as you walk in, the place is impressive, but the food and service was just absolutely top notch. You do pay quite a bit more than you would at your typical Outback Steakhouse, but this is the real deal. The lobster mashed potatoes - wow. Not overpowering lobster flavor - just a really nice subtle twist. The caesar salad I was incredible, but of course it's the steak that I'll never forget... Harry's New York Sirloin Strip Steak with Cabernet Butter and Fried Onion Rings. I didn't end up taking the job at WSTW, but that dinner at Harry's really made the decision tougher.

ALERT: This review is just for their happy hour special. Not their dinner service. Boyfriend and I went here for their monthly (first Friday) happy hour. I love delicious drinks on special and live music. They get two thumbs up on both accounts here. $5 specialty cocktails - I had a Caipirinha and boyfriend had some whisky concoction. We both went back for seconds (and thirds...shhh). Yum! Wait, did I mention the complementary hors d'oeuvres? Dips, chips, pulled pork sandwiches, pasta salad and more. All complementary. Just for joining them for happy hour? Why thank you, Harry! The crowd was a bit older than us (think mid-50s). Beau and I were easily the youngest people there but they were an extremely energetic group. Lots of chatter, glasses clinking and plenty of mingling. I have to say it was not your average insular young happy hour situation. Quite refreshing! I haven't been here for dinner yet but I perused the menu and saw quite a few things I'd like to order. I have a feeling their crab cake is to die for...

Pure food wise, I definitely had better for the price I paid. It came out to $60 per person with 1 glass of wine. However the service was impecable. First the positive notes. The server was extremely attentive. Drinks and food came out on time. The appetizers were great too. Had oysters a la carte style at $3 a piece. All oysters were fresh and clean. Ambiance was also nice. They'd live music for the weekend even though the guy couldn't really sing. For the main course, our party had steak and prime rib which is what Harry's known for. The prime rib was so so. It came out a bit too cold. It could have been warmer. The steaks were horrible. Steak tasted like it is from Outback Steakhouse. Meat was rough. Worse yet, they decided to dump 3 cups of BBQ sauce on the NY Strip. If the steaks were any good, why hide it behind the sauces. Wine selection was also so so. If it wasn't for the nice server + oysters, I'd give this place a 1 star.

"What made you pick Harry's?." my husband asked as we sat down in a cozy booth to start our celebration of our birthday dinner. "Well, I have been meaning to get back here for awhile, but it seems like a special occasion place," I said. We celebrated my husband's birthday last night at Harry's and loved every minute of it. Our server, Heather, was so nice and helpful. We started with a glass of wine for me and an old fashioned for my husband, who was feeling a little Don Draper-y. We split the ahi tasting for an app and I had the greek salad to start (I wish they sold the dressing!) and the fettucine with wild boar bolognese for dinner. I was so full I could barely eat my pasta. My husband had the strip steak and bacon horseradish mashed potatoes as a side - they were heavy, heavy, heavy but so sinfully good. It was the perfect dinner and night. I cannot wait to go back and sit in the tavern!

I love it here. Only place I get prime rib anymore, because it's what they do, and they care to do it right. I'm already looking forward to the stop at total wine, then up the street for a meal I look forward to all year. Great food and service.

I'm not a big fan of either Harry's and I should have stuck to this instinct. Tried Harry's on Sat. night. Heather was our server and did a great job. Their food is just, Meh. I had the pork medallions over kale. The pork was a bit tough and dry. The kale was over salted. For $30, I don't expect Meh. Also, James (some manager) was going table to table asking how everything was. He skipped us. James, if you're going to do that, you need to ask everyone. Cullinaria is closed for their 2 week vacation. That's our usual go to spot. Oh well.

Oh, how I wish this restaurant was located in NYC. It's fantastic. The food, the wine menu, the service. Not only there for their catering, as we attended a wedding, but returned for dinner two nights later. I could eat there 7 nights a week and probably not repeat a meal for three weeks. Everything we ate was delicious. Hmmm, perhaps it's best that it's not located close to where we live...

Been going here forever. Never disappointed, frequently delighted. I attend every cigar dinner which are outstanding, and take advantage of frequent specials. Where else could you get a flight of Grand Marnier starting at 100 years old and working to today? Their wine cellar is excellent and was recognized for many years as one to the best in the area by various wine publications. Obviously I am a fan. Nuff said.

Harry's Savoy Grill is one of the best meals I have had. The places is fairly upscale, I don't think I would feel comfortable if I wasn't wearing a shirt with a collar here, at least from what I gathered from the rest of the crowd that night wearing sport coats and suits. I started with some of their oysters, ordered half a dozen and they were great. The sizes varied I had 2 that were minuscule, while the largest 2 were monstrous. For dinner on recommendation by the server, I ordered the ostrich over the prime rib. Let me say it was quite possibly the best advice I have ever gotten, at least that I can think of while writing this. The meat was cooked perfectly; I generally can find something to complain about with everything, except this, it was perfect. As a side I had the Horseradish mashed potatoes, if you like horseradish you love this side. I had also tried the prime rib since everyone else had ordered that, it was good and I'll have to come back to try it, but I don't regret what I ordered. For dessert I ordered some pumpkin crème dish, similar to crème Brulee but not that same. It was ok, the pumpkin brittle was not my favorite but the rest of it was pretty good. I think when I come back the only thing I would do differently is maybe get less food, as I left here feeling pleasantly plumb, more so then I like to leaving a restaurant, try the prime rib, and order there chocolate porter.

We stopped off here on our way home from DC, and had a decent lunch that would have been a heck of a lot better had the server there not gone out of her way to make a couple of her customers (us) feel like jerks. The restaurant was not busy at 1:30 on a weekday afternoon, and we were seated right away. Harry's is a beautiful room, with a large lounge area off to the left of the main dining room, which has a huge high ceiling, an open-floor design, and a fireplace at one end. Combined with the muted earthtones of the place, the fireplace gives Harry's a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our server was in no hurry to take care of us, however, and we sat for quite a while, waiting to give a drink order. When we did finally do so, we sat for even longer waiting for it to arrive. In a room that's only 1/4 full, between 12 and 2, there's really no excuse for slow, surly service. We placed our orders, and I had the burger, which is listed on the menu as coming with bleu cheese, tomato, bacon relish. What I got was a grilled meat patty and a bun on a plate. That's it. When I asked "wasn't this supposed to come with bleu cheese-something-or-other?" The waitress looked at me like I was a boil that needed lancing and grated "I guess they forgot to put it on there." When I had the audacity to add "Could I get some lettuce and tomato too?" She looked at me like I'd just run over her dog, and said "I'll request that for you, sure." Wow. Like she was going to go to the Overlord and submit my LT2101 form, but it might not come back approved. The burger was decent, and the bleu-tomato-bacon relish was great. The beer offerings are widely varied, and plenty of local selections, including Yuengling, are available. Their wine list is great, and the prices are very, very reasonable for the quality of food you get. In the end, I wanted to like Harry's a lot more, but our server really went out of her way to make us feel bad about being there, so three stars is the best I can do.

I have been in Wilmington on business for the past 5 months, and since we have a meal allowance, we like to eat at nice places. We have gone to Harry's a few times and it almost seems to get better every time. On Sunday nights, they have a prime rib special where you get a great cut of meat with a glass of wine for about $30. The meat was fantastic and the horseradish in the hollowed out cucumber was a great touch! On Wednesday nights, they have a lobster special where you get a 1.5 pound lobster (ample meat) and a side for about $30 as well. We can easily eat here without breaking our client's budget, and the food is always delicious. The bar area definitely caters to the business crowd and the bartenders seem to know their stuff. I highly recommend getting a side of garlic bread with your meal, and the salted carmel gelato was one of the best desserts I've had in Delaware. I will be back time and time again!

We ate at the bar area and had a bunch of small plates. We loved the tuna app, Buffalo sausage and the truffle fries are amazing. We wanted to stay in the bar are to hear the live music. We'll that was a disappointment, it was 1 guy playing guitar with a jazz feel to it. We wasn't bad, but we were expecting a at least a few peice band. The atmosphere was ok, nice people, and a little on the loud side, but the food was great.

We visited recently on a Friday evening. The place was packed. As former Delawareans familiar with Harry's quality we were looking forward to nice meal. We were disappointed. They had no regular bread but made an effort and brought out old rolls that were reheated. For the first time that we can recall, the clams on half-shell smelled fishy. They were fine but In the past they smelled as if they just came out of the ocean, particularly on a Friday. The shrimp also smelled fishy. We ordered a favorite - NE Clam Chowder. Another disappointment. It was thick as if it had been sitting on slow cook all day and was actually a little sour. We then looked forward to Harry's well known Prime Rib - it was served cold, really disappointing but of excellent quality. The apple martini was excellent but the margarita was mostly ice So I guess we're finally done with Wilmington except for family and probably will not be back to Harry's.

So, so sadly disappointed in this place. Two friends took me and the boyfriend out for New Year's Eve dinner... The cost of the meal for four of us ran about $400.. But while the service was very good, the food, or lack thereof was about the most shocking experience at a restaurant I've ever had. I should have taken photos. The "Petite filet mignon and lobsters was actually a very, very tiny filet with two TINY..(I am NOT exaggerating here folks) TINY lobster or crawfish claws.. My friend who ordered it, the one treating us to the dinner was shocked. No lobster. No lobster tail, no lobster head. It was a complete sham. The cost for this one entree? $85 !!!!! The other four entrees were just as depressing. While the filets were cooked well, this was barely a $100 meal, but my poor friend paid well over $300 for it. Shocking, disappointing, dishonest. Shame, SHAME on such a sham of a business.

I was in Harry's to have dinner with my grandson who was leaving on a trip to Italy with his school band and thought it would be special to go there. My meal was one of the worst meals ever. I've eaten at Harry's before and was satisfied. The chicken dish is a disgrace to the menu, it should be revised or removed. I will not return there nor will I recommend it. Patty

This place has a grandiose, lost-in-time, classic feel to it, and I felt instantly impressed with their professional staff. My family had made a reservation ahead of time for my birthday, which turned out to be a good idea, because despite how spacious it feels in there, it filled up quickly for dinner. Our waiter was very professional and timely and talked to us about options on the menu with ease and honesty. I was disappointed not to see a surf-and-turf option on there, but our waiter helped me build something that was to my expectations - a special steak with an a la carte lobster. Wow. Amazing. Perfectly cooked to our liking. Succulent perfection on a plate with well-paired sauces and a simple presentation. Let the food talk for itself. And the things it wooed my body into feeling. Which also might have been due to the great Syrah I picked from the menu. The wine list is fantastic and I have no qualms about the prices, because here you get what you pay for - amazing food and service. One star deduction because the service bartender clearly had no knowledge of how to whip up a classic Old Fashioned cocktail. I initially received a watered-down version of an Old Fashioned with a mushed up orange slice and two cherries, leaving me wondering if there was any bourbon in it at all. I sent it back, asking for an "OLD, CLASSIC Old Fashioned" and got basically the same thing with a little more bourbon. After keeping bar for years in New Orleans, I was thoroughly disappointed and gave up on the cocktail venture since we had a bottle of wine coming anyway. Our waiter appropriately didn't charge me for either of the pseudo-Old Fashions that I didn't drink. Other than that? I'm sold on this place. For future reference, THIS is how you make an Old Fashioned: youtu.be/3ccqDlu0kuI

Just as I feared, the place is not what it used to be . I haven't been to Harry's in over 15 years, so I concede that my standards have changed since I was 25. There were problems from the start- there was no one at the front greeting guests as they arrived so there was a bit of a "TGI Fridays" feel to the entrance. Once a server noticed the pile up at the front door, we were seated immediately on a Friday around 8pm with no reservation. 5 stars for the look of the place- classy colors, high ceiling, great decor, perfect lighting, a reasonable noise for a Friday night. The locals seemed to be enjoying the bar which only became annoying as the din of the dining room died down. The food was a huge disappointment from start to finish. The iceberg wedge salad was boring- no zip in the blue cheese and mediocre tomatoes. It was served on a warm plate, too. We also had the French onion soup. I don't think there's anyone who orders French onion for the soup- you order it for the cheese! The little there was on this soup was burnt to a crisp and because the little cauldron it was in was under the broiler for such a long time, it was way too hot to eat. The steaks were cooked just fine, but the accompaniments on the petite filet missed the mark- nothing spoils a good piece of beef like too much of a salty, poorly executed sauce. We had the apple crisp and the blueberry cobbler which should have been easy, seasonal dishes, but also served much too hot to enjoy before the gelato melted. All of these misses could have easily been overlooked with decent service. It was painfully slow and our server was dismissive if not downright unfriendly. We got the bare minimum of her time and attention and at no point did she check in with us to see how we were enjoying our meal. She literally disappeared after each plate arrived and then reappeared only after we'd sat with plates in front of us for far too long. There are a number of steakhouses in that area far better than Harry's. We will be taking our $125 elsewhere next time.

I'm giving Harry's 5 stars. We went there Dec. 27 for partner's birthday. Don't have time to write it all, just know that it was fabulous. A drink at the bar, (tasted a different beer or two) and sat down in bar area for dinner. Filet Mignon dinner was perfect, the crabcakes (2) were delicious. Everything was great. Not just good...great. And we had enough leftovers for dinner the next night :) ... still grreat. Did I say "great" enuf? I don't "get" the bad reviews. I've been here probably a dozen times over the years and only once did I have a complaint; and that was a holiday - Easter perhaps? And we found it under par. I guess that's why i don't like eating out on holidays. But I feel that even tho it's just a tad bit pricey, you truly do get what you pay for.

Great beautiful place. We've held our annual brunch in the ballroom the past two years that I've attended and the good both times was excellent and the venue was set so nicely. Xavier and his team at Harry's really do a great job of making sure everyone is comfortable and enjoying themselves.

Their signature Prime Rib was marginal. Way overpriced for the quality,

Was here for a business meeting. First of all, the service was superb! Our server was attentive, knowledgeable and humorous. A+++ on the service. The ambiance is okay, albeit very outdated. Their menu is daily, but I'm not sure what that update entails. Their menu online is identical to the menu I held in my hands last night. The food... ~ Clams were okay, but I'm not a big seafood person so do not take my word for it. ~ I am a HUGE steak person and I can tell a good steak from a bad one by just looking at it. My coworker ordered prime rib, their special, and thought it was great. I ordered filet mignon bearnaise, which was ruined by the bearnaise sauce. Grilled to perfection, and then smothered in less-than-average bearnaise sauce, yuck! ~ My biggest disappointment; however, was yet to come. Our server told us that the side dishes serve two, but then we received 8 asparagus stalks. This is NO joke people: 8 stalks for 7 dollars. Really? ~ The Creme Brulee was delicious, although the caramel top could have afforded more time under a torch. In conclusion, if they offered a filet mignon that wasn't smothered in that sad attempt of a bearnaise sauce and served side dishes that are actually going to serve two people, I'd give them four stars.

Great local place, they've got really good sandwiches at $9-10 (the crab cake and lobster roll sandwiches are more but I'm sure they're worth it) which come with sides plus great steaks, seafood, and of course prime rib that's cut in the dining room and perfectly done. The wine list is also nice including a different flight of 4 wines available each month (February is Pinot Noir). Prices really aren't bad for the quality of the food - it's much cheaper than Sullivan's down the road and you get to support a local institution rather than a nationwide chain. Harry's Savoy (or its sister restaurant downtown) are always a great choice when in Wilmington, I'm definitely a fan.

I went here during Restaurant week with a group of six. Everyone in the group enjoyed the food. The calamari appetizer was great, they bread the calamari in the same type of breading you would find on fried chicken, which sounds strange but it really worked well. The restaurant week menu was lacking in options (only two entrees to pick from), however the portion size was good and the food seemed to be the same quality as the regular menu. Our service however...was another story. We had long, long gaps between everything. We waited for bread, we waited a long time for our entrees, we waited a very long time for the server to ask if anyone wanted desert, and then we waited yet again for the bill. The restaurant was full when we sat down and completely empty when we left, apparently all of the other tables got faster service than us. So, I tend to think this was a one off and we just happened to get a slow, inattentive server. I will definitely give Harry's another chance to redeem itself.

SUMMARY: I'm from Boston, visiting family. When the waiter started off with his canned spiel I assumed that my fears of a tacky faux-classy dining experience were being realized. I was won over by his superb execution and very professional execution on the food. Not my style of restaurant but superb execution throughout. PROS: 1) Transcendent garlic bread, best I've ever had in a restaurant (and I've been around). A small item but indicative of some real know-how and innovation in the kitchen 2) Filet mignon, perfect 3) Four 2 oz. taster medley of red wines, great idea 4) Waiter was surprisingly professional and competent 5) Delicious Belgian chocolate dessert, a cut above 6) Special allergy change request in our party was executed perfectly CONS: 1) Lobster ravioli appetizer at $15 was too pricey 2) Pretty pricey overall 3) Low on atmosphere, next to a strip mall

Mr. Harry is a obvious master of land and sea, owning both the seafood grill by the Waterfront Market as well as this Savoy Grill. Decadently rich walls with deep, rustic booths and soft lighting to offer an extensive wine and beer list to go with a varied selection of chops and steaks. However, Mr. Harry has not yet mastered a palate yearning for more complexity, as entrees fall a bit on the dull side. For a place one has to invest traveling to, we expect better, Mr. Harry. We deserve better.

We had a reservation made ahead of time, upon arrival, the hostess attempted to give us a table AT THE BAR area. Not a very good first impression on the place. Our waitress, however, had made it a very meal with her service. She was highly professional and honest about the entrees on the menu. We started with some clams/oysters on the half shell, very fresh; clams casino, over powered by too much bacon; pork belly BLT, nice presentation but poor on the taste buds. For dinner my husband ordered the sea dive scallops, delicious. I ordered the double cut lamb chop and rabbit sausage, also a delicious entree. We ordered a bottle of wine with dinner, it was very good. Live entertainment started at around 8pm, thank goodness we didn't take the table at the bar area where the one-man show was set up as it would've been blasting in our ears on a nice Saturday night meal at a supposedly high-end restaurant. Besides, the music can still be heard very clearly all the way on the other side in the dining area. Typical cover songs, not something I'd pick with a restaurant that charges $30 or more on some entrees, the restaurant loses the elegance/mood once the music started. I felt like I was at a wedding. Overall, the food is good for Wilmington standards. The atmosphere? I was not impressed at all due to various reasons I've mentioned above. I wouldn't come back here to pay that kind of money for food/wine with not so tasteful atmosphere. Management should start with hostess and teach them a reservation is not meant for the bar area. I'd go to Sullivan's instead here, there I don't mind paying at all.

We had two prime rib dinners last Saturday night. Waiters were very attentive. Had the wedge salad (extra charge) with bleu cheese dressing which was extremely good with some cucumber, red onion, cherry tomatoes. My "date" had the french onion soup (extra charge), which he liked....I did not hear rave reviews , but OK anyway. The prime rib was cooked as we had ordered them medium rare, with Au ju in the platter instead of the little dipping "bowl". A little cucumber chunk had freshly made horseradish sauce which I liked. Au Gratin potatoes were included with the dinner. My cocktail was very good, had the Ultimate Harry's Martini. I would go back again, but expected a little better prime rib. .

One of the best restaurants in Delaware! Never had a bad meal here. Everything is great, including the service! The menu changes daily and there is always something new and different to try. We have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed!

This is a tale of two visits. One was for my 1 year anniversary with my girl. That overall visit was about a 3 star affair. The food was solid but the server was very condescending. She didn't seem to think it was worth giving us the time of day and we only saw her maybe 2 times the whole meal (with other waitstaff bringing meals, asking if we needed anything, etc). At first she seemed super excited, asked us about our night, etc. When we told her it wasn't a wedding anniversary her mood changed. Maybe she figured a lower tip was coming, I don't know. Anywho...they also catered our holiday dinner for work. Wow. Four open bar stations, a carving station with turkey and beef (both of which were AMAZING), huge cheese and meat assortments, etc. It was really, really nice. The staff handled ~500 people perfectly. I'd give them a shot sometime for sure based on their treatment at the party (although working for one of the biggest finance firms in the US probably helped).

I've been eating at Harry's for 15 years now, so I guess you can figure out that I like the place. They have had a few ups and downs over the years but all things considered, it is one of my favorite places to eat. Warning: Service can and probably will be slow, unless you eat at the bar, not the bar side but at the bar. They are known for Prime Rib and seafood, yeah I know Prime Rib was kind of our grandfathers' generation but do yourself a favor and try it, it is the best I have even eaten! If fish is you thing, where else do you know of that call tell you the name of the boat and captain that caught you meal? They also frequently feature game meats which they never fail to do very well. If you like oysters on the half shell, go to the bar on Thursdays for half price oysters. Each week they have a bunch of selections. Harry's is also a great place to take the relatives for "a nice dinner out". It's my go to place when relatives come in from out of town, there is something for all tastes. They also have banquet facilities but I have never attended an event there, so I can't comment.

Once upon a time, I dated a guy who worked for Sunoco. In return for selling his very soul, the evil oil giant handed him a serious perk package that included many wine-soaked dinners at Harry's; the food was always rather good, but who could remember after all that Stag's Leap Cab? A few days ago, a girlfriend and I were wandering deepest darkest Delaware in search of lunch and stumbled upon Harry's. Two Arnold Palmers, one sashimi tuna salad and one fried oyster salad later, we were Harry's biggest fans. The bartender who served us was friendly, our food was delightful, and the other patrons having lunch quite affable. It wasn't cheap but the quality of the food reflected the prices. Four stars for sure- way to go, Delaware!

Went here with my Mom and daughter, one of the best meals I have eaten. The filet was perfect, melt in your mouth, the bar fully stocked and many delicious desserts! The inside is elegant and comfortable, the staff friendly and attentive. Not an inexpensive place, but worth it.

I was lucky enough to patronize Harry's for lunch this past week. I went at noon on a Thursday and the dining room appeared to be mostly empty. My party was seated at a copper covered table near the rear of the restaurant. ***Rant time*** I know that copper tables and decor are supposed to be show wealth and class, but am I the only one that hates the smell of copper. Yes it looks pretty and is different than your average restaurant, but I spent the whole meal trying to avoid touching the table or resting my arms on the table as I did not want to smell like a 10 year old penny. For all the restaurateurs, please refrain from this practice as it really grinds my gears. For the food, a member of my group ordered the crab cake sandwich and loved it. Lots of lump crap meat on a delicious roll. Another person ordered a salad and said that it was delicious as well. Personally I ordered the open faced Prime Rib sandwich. I saw the slab of Prime Rib as I walked in and it made my decision. I expected the usual thin slices of roast beef-esque meat on texas toast, but I could not have been more wrong. I received a generous 1.25 inch slab of medium rare Prime Rib goodness. The meat was extremely juicy and tender and had very almost zero fat. It sat on a thin slice of artisian bread that soaked up the juices. I coupled this with an order of fries and tore through the meal like a tornado through Kansas trailer park. I had juicy prime rib shrapnel all over. I washed down my meal with fresh squeezed lemonade that was delicious but a little on the sweet side. As I do business often in Delaware, I will continue to find reasons to take clients to Harry's.

Solid steakhouse most of the time. Service staff sometimes seems to have wandered in from a different kind of establishment and are either unattentive or weirdly informal. The food never dazzles, even within the limits of this genre of restaurant, but it doesn't disappoint, either. You could pretty much close your eyes and spin a wheel and end up here or Sullivan's Steakhouse and you'll have approximately similar experiences, give or take something like Sullivan's giant hunk of iceberg lettuce with blue-cheese gunk on it.

Terrific food, great waitstaff, and therefore a perfect dinner. Very pricey, at least for our budget, but well worth it for a special meal. Absolutely the best beef (I had the prime rib) I have **ever** had. Vegetables were very nicely done and presented, and the dessert was lovely (my favorite creme brulee). A wonderful wine list -- how many restaurants can you visit and get an oloroso sherry? None that I've ever been in, and this one had two. My husband ordered some Dog Fish Pumpkin beer (I think I have that right) and even I, confirmed beer hater, thought it was good. Our waitress was very helpful and efficient. Even better, no waiter/waitress ever seemed to go by our table without glancing to see if we needed water, bread, or anything else. We usually stay overnight in Wilmington on our Boston-Norfolk treks. I'm already looking forward to our next visit to Harry's.

Went to Harry's on date nite and the bonus is we had a gift card we'd had forever. No issue on redeeming the card and really enjoyed a nice, romantic dinner for two. Abiance is a little dark for me, but I was really impressed by the calimari honestly (given they are more of a steak place). We ordered a steak and it was truly great. We also had the fish special and enoyed that as well. I'm glad we went back after it's been a while. I'd go for the steak, but try out the calimari app as well.

After hearing that Harry's was THE place to have a steak and pay a lot of $$ for it, I took my fiance here for his 30th. I made the reservation on-line which was easy and convenient. The ambiance of the restaurant was a little dated but we got a nice quiet table in the corner. The beer list was mediocre, but the wine list was decent. We got the calamari as an appetizer and that was quite good. For our meals, I got the scallops and my fiance got the prime rib. The scallops were cooked well and the sauce was okay. Nothing bad or good about it.The prime rib was very fatty and did not taste like the quality we expected from a steakhouse. For the price and the hype, we both expected much more. I I heard they have a decent happy hour however, but we won't be going back.

Do not eat at this restaurant!! At a dinner with another couple, we were served prime rib that was laden with fat and gristle. The manager was shown the meat and comped our meal. One week later with 2 other couples we informed the manager of our prior bad experience so that he could monitor the food prep more closely. My wife ordered the red snapper and when it came to the table the odor of the fish was so offensive it ruined everyone's appetite. Even after being alerted to the bad prime rib meal of a week earlier, the two prime ribs ordered were mediocre at best. Everyone at the table (one couple was a regular) vowed never to return.

I've been to Harry's Seafood over on the riverfront a few times, but even though I drive by Harry's Savoy Grill a few times a week, I never stopped in. On Saturday evening, my fiancee decided she needed steak. Period. Nothing else would do. I hopped on OpenTable, and grabbed a reservation for Harry's. When we arrived, it was *packed*. Luckily, they have an enormous parking lot - though it was almost filled too. I believe there was an event of some sort going on in the Ballroom. Inside was just as packed as outside. We had to wait a few minutes for our table, but I wound up being quite surprised that even with a full house, they seated the two of us in a nice booth instead of the tiny table that we walked by. They had a pretty decent band, though, if you were in the room with them, it would probably be too loud for my tastes. We were a room or two away, so it was perfect. I liked the decor - nice wood, and a high-end feel. The menu was quite good - some local and organic selections. From looking at Harry's, you wouldn't think that they would have a focus on local ingredients, so that was a nice surprise. They apparently change it up every day too. The menus had today's date printed on them - it's a nice touch to have a menu that you know was printed up just earlier today. (Or, at least, was printed up especially for today). Though I had my eye on the ostrich appetizer, I wound up deciding on their $25, 2 course menu. I opted for the Ravioli appetizer, and the 10oz Prime Rib (Medium rare) for the main course. I'm actually not 100% sure why I ordered this. I've never been a big fan of prime rib. When I was a kid, my parents would take me out for prime rib, and I was always disappointed when it came out, because I would hear "prime rib", and be expecting some really choice ribs, like BBQ ribs. Well, anyway, I ordered the prime rib, and my fiancee ordered the 12oz Delmonico Steak. The appetizer was really the star of the show. It was a single "Tinga Ravioli" with roasted tomato and shaved manchego cheese. It was filled with delicious shredded beef, and really, could not have been better. I'm usually one of those guys that chefs hate - I love salt, and pour buckets of it on everything (usually before I even try it. Sorry.. I know, I know). I didn't even have a second to think about salt when I was eating this. There are many terrible, terrible things that I would be willing to do for a full plate of this ravioli, though, they don't seem to have a larger portion on the menu. That's smart though - it keeps you wanting to come back for more! Damn was that delicious. Anyway... Again, I was surprised at the main course. Our waiter brought out my fiancee's meal, and went back to grab mine. He got about 5 feet away from the table, stopped in his tracks, and then walked over slowly. He said "I'm sorry, but I'm not going to serve you this. I just got a good look at it in the light, and it's not medium rare. I'm going to take it back, have them rack up a new one, and get you a new cut. I'm really sorry about this." Wow. Honestly, being a guy who's not the hugest fan of prime rib (and also being colorblind), I really doubt I'd have even noticed if it wasn't cooked perfectly, but they refused to put out anything that wasn't exactly perfect. That is very commendable. I've been served many meals (even at nice places) that looked a lot worse than that prime rib did. The replacement was out very quickly, and aside from being quite good (even for someone who's not a huge prime rib fan), it was enormous. This was no 10oz prime rib. This was half of a cow. I already don't have a big enough appetite to be able to put away a 10oz steak, so this was easily two meals for me. That wound up working out pretty nicely, because my fiancee's brother got home from work around the time I got home, so he wound up with a top notch prime rib dinner out of the deal! The sides were equally good - a scalloped potato gratin (Sorry.. I ate a big chunk out of it before I though to take a picture. It was good! I couldn't help it!), and my fiancee ordered some spinach. I love spinach, and this was up there with my favorites. All in all, very good. I'll be happy to stop by again. Pictures from my meal are available here: thisiswhatimeating.com/2…

This is a staple for those who live along the 202 Corridor! The steak is the attraction and it for sure will not disappoint. The outside surroundings are nothing to jump up and down about, but this is definitely a gem amongst the land of the strip malls!! Once inside, you definitely know you're in an old school steak house. I wouldn't say you'd need a blazer to get in, but you would definitely feel uncomfortable wearing a T-Shirt & Jeans! The only downside I would say is the wine selection. The wines are pretty generic and overpriced, especially if you're looking for wines by the glass. The food makes up for it as long as you don't sway from red meat!! The prices, minus wine, are not that bad for a great steak house.

As a vegetarian, I was unsure if I was going to find much here, since they are known for steak and seafood. However, the gnochi was amazing, along with my sides of perfectly-prepared asparagus, whipped sweet potatos, and a wonderful salad. They also make some fantastic cocktails, and the Caramel Machiatto Cheescake was excellent.

what's a vegetarian doing giving a steakhouse a 4 star rating, you ask? well, while i will proudly admit that my brother is a server there, this review is not to praise his extensive knowledge of food & wine and dedication to fine service (ok, mini plug - ya caught me!) i'm not one to complain about lack of veg options at an establishment that features meat (in harry's case, they are known for their prime rib), i just choose to not eat there. however, because of my family connection, i have ended up dining at harry's on multiple occasions...and loved it every time! on each visit i kindly alerted my server (when not my brother) to inform the chef that i was a vegetarian and to see what was available. let's not forget, quality chefs are masters of the culinary arts...and like any professional in the art world, doing the same thing all the time can get a bit tiresome. that said, instead of copping an attitude about this being a steakhouse, the chef, as i was told, was excited for the opportunity to "be creative" in the kitchen by making something off the menu. everything he has prepared for me used ingredients found in other dishes and was simply delicious! another thing i love about harry's is their wine tasting flights. each month a different grape is featured, for example riesling or cabernet, and you are presented (quite nicely, i might add) with 2.5oz samples of this wine from 4 different vineyards, complete with printed descriptions of each. the price ranges depending on the particular wines being served, but in my experience, has always been under $15 - an excellent value, not to mention a great way to acquaint yourself with the subtle variations and discover the preference of your own palate.

Fantastic! Went here for lunch on a Wednesday. The place is pretty big. The main dining room is a little dated, but I liked it. The bar is big and spacious. We opted to sit on the outdoor patio, which was very cute and comfortable. Our server (Adam) was excellent! He made recommendations, all of which were real winners, especially the white chocolate bread pudding.. If you go, You must try the open faced Prime Rib sandwich & the lobster roll. ( you will not be disappointed). This will definitely be a place we return!!

I this place. The food was absolutely on par. Although the place may seem a lot pricier, it's actually comparable to most non takeout fast-food restaurants. If you are in the mood for fresh seafood and/or steak dinner to perfection, this is the place to go.

Went here for lunch on 7/24 sat in the bar area in a booth...would recommend sitting over here for lunch cause it was a lil more lively then the dining room. Our server Jeremy, was excellent! And the food was great! The split pea crab soup was awesome! Would totally get that again! Every thing else was also good! And I loved the homemade lemonade, it was made perfect! Not too sweet!!

The prime rib alone gives Harry's five stars. Service is always great, very attentive and courteous. We live about 5 mins away, if I could have dinner here every night we would. Everything we've ever ordered have been great. Happy hour is nice. We went on a Monday and it was so pleasant. We ordered the cheese plate, had wine & a couple of beers. It was just relaxing and enjoyable. Wish we could do it more often but my work schedule inhibits it :( I also had my wedding shower in one of the ballrooms, it was great. Staff was vey nice and attentive. As always food was great! I would definitely recommend throwing a get together or party here!

Rounding up because yelp won't let me give 4.5 stars. I won't lie. It's expensive. Prices have gone up. But totally worth it, in my opinion, for what seems to be the most thoughtfully coordinated menu I've ever seen at Harry's. An excellent dining experience requires excellent food. This place definitely fits the bill. The oysters are top-notch, the ingredients fresh. The brussel sprouts salad is a game changer. The pan seared lobster is decadent. The Belgian chocolate gormandise is perfect paired with a shot of espresso. Service was a bit sluggish at first, but I didn't mind once I had a few oysters and a glass of Prosecco. People complaining about small portions and limited bread basket should just go to Golden Corral instead.

Haven't eaten here. Just had drinks. It's classy and very nice. The bartenders are professional. I've never had a mediocre drink. They have a good selection of whiskeys but I wish they had even more. Would be nice if they were THE place in northern Delaware for whiskey.

Harry's award winning prime rib au jus is award-winning for a reason! Perfectly cooked, fork tender, and melt in your mouth delicious! The au gratin potatoes are delicious and very flavor full without being overwhelming. A pleasant surprise are the 7 grain and cranberry breads. Go and enjoy a true dining experience!

(3)Matt K.

Harry's Savoy is very well known in the area as being a premium steakhouse, so when my parents hit an anniversary milestone, we decided we'd get them the best. My dad is a "meat-and-potatoes" kind of guy, so I figured this restaurant would be right up his alley. Overall, I'd say our experience was good, and solid. Most of our food was very delicious, and the service was beyond solicitous. My wife ordered her steak well-done; when it came out bloody, we sent it back. It came out charred, and virtually unrecognizable as steak. The manager was extraordinarily apologetic, and compensated us for a portion of the meal, so while I can't quite give their chef top marks, the personal attention we received from the manager made up for the snafu. The only other thing that left the impression that the restaurant might not be on top of its game was the interior décor, which was very shabby. The carpet had well-worn track marks, the finish had been scuffed off the hardwood floors, and the color scheme looked as if it had last been au courant in the late '70s. I'd understand if this were a small mom-'n'-pop pizzeria, but this restaurant charges $25+ per plate. It's difficult to imagine that there's nothing left in the budget to freshen up the floors more than once every few decades. I would consider visiting again, as my meal was tasty and the service was good, but I think I'd have a hard time convincing my wife. Perhaps we all expected a bit more from the experience, given the cost of the meal.

Old School Steakhouse. Been there for years and there is a reason for it. Better than Harry's Seafood Grill.
(4)David M.

We have been dining at Harry's Savoy for over six years and have watched the prices climb up to almost Center City PHL levels while busboys clang away noisily in the background. Most menu items, especially the seafood, filet, and prime rib remain good. However, avoid ordering the sautéed foie gras as it is nothing but a slice of goose liver overcooked on the outside and raw on the inside. I must admit to mis-reading the menu and was expecting pate de fois gras and was disappointed. The waitress called the manager, who spoke to us in a defensive and condescending manner as though we had never eaten out previously. He then came back with a menu and pointed out my error. They have no business charging almost twenty dollars for a slice of poorly prepared goose liver. Lesson learned, but Harry's has definitely slipped down a notch in our estimation.
(3)Suman S.

(4)Michelle H.
i don't get why people think this place is so great....i've never experienced a great meal there by any stretch. I've had mediocre to bad meals there. Service is always great though, but the food, not so much.
(2)Steven B.

(4)Alex S.
I love it here. Only place I get prime rib anymore, because it's what they do, and they care to do it right. I'm already looking forward to the stop at total wine, then up the street for a meal I look forward to all year. Great food and service.
(5)Kristian G.
Oh well.
(2)Sha'Ri R.
Food is constantly good. Love the prime rib always juicy and flavorful.

(5)Steve S.
Very nice steakhouse. Food was delicious. House Cab was ok, but Millbrandt Cab was excellent. Highly recommended.
(4)Michael M.
Nuff said.
(5)megan s.
We enjoyed our dinner at Harry Savoy a couple years ago, nice atmosphere, food was good, not great, prices were high but not too high.
(4)Mike P.

Consistently good, good atmosphere. GREAT filet. A bit too dressy for me and sometimes a lot of pretentious people there. Overall, I definitely recommend

(5)Perry A.

Patty
(1)Max A.
Well honestly, for the money I was expecting something other than mediocre. I had the barrel cut ribeye, it had excellent flavor, but it was about the size of a fillet. Service was outstanding and the atmosphere was cozy.
(3)Gervean W.
Great restaurant! The food was amazing the atmosphere very romantic.

Our family went to Harry's for Christmas Eve dinner. All four of us enjoyed our meal immensely from soup all the way through dessert.
(5)Stefanie G.

Love this place especially eating at the bar. Have to love half priced oysters on Thursdays. Bartenders Mike and Kate are fantastic.

My family and I have been going to Harry's for 20 years, the food is always fabulous, and the quality is the food is always consistant. The waitstaff is impeccable. One of the best restaurants in the Tri-State area hands down.

(5)Blake F.
what's a vegetarian doing giving a steakhouse a 4 star rating, you ask? well, while i will proudly admit that my brother is a server there, this review is not to praise his extensive knowledge of food & wine and dedication to fine service (ok, mini plug - ya caught me!) i'm not one to complain about lack of veg options at an establishment that features meat (in harry's case, they are known for their prime rib), i just choose to not eat there. however, because of my family connection, i have ended up dining at harry's on multiple occasions...and loved it every time! on each visit i kindly alerted my server (when not my brother) to inform the chef that i was a vegetarian and to see what was available. let's not forget, quality chefs are masters of the culinary arts...and like any professional in the art world, doing the same thing all the time can get a bit tiresome. that said, instead of copping an attitude about this being a steakhouse, the chef, as i was told, was excited for the opportunity to "be creative" in the kitchen by making something off the menu. everything he has prepared for me used ingredients found in other dishes and was simply delicious! another thing i love about harry's is their wine tasting flights. each month a different grape is featured, for example riesling or cabernet, and you are presented (quite nicely, i might add) with 2.5oz samples of this wine from 4 different vineyards, complete with printed descriptions of each. the price ranges depending on the particular wines being served, but in my experience, has always been under $15 - an excellent value, not to mention a great way to acquaint yourself with the subtle variations and discover the preference of your own palate.

Nice service; host placed me at a patio table over looking the river.

Always great food and great service. This restaurant is great for special occasions or just a night out. Never had a bad meal in many trips. Not inexpensive but always a good value.

(4)K C.
I this place. The food was absolutely on par. Although the place may seem a lot pricier, it's actually comparable to most non takeout fast-food restaurants. If you are in the mood for fresh seafood and/or steak dinner to perfection, this is the place to go.
(5)Tara S.

What could I say about this place. Well their food is a great laxative. Yes a lot of Delaware people eat there. The DuPont inbreed types.
(1)Thina T.
(5)Aerial R.
I had the caesar wedge salad and steak. The steak was just AMAZING. The ambiance was perfect. Definitely a go-to spot for a date night or a nice night out with family. It is a bit pricey, so be ready!

The best of the best Harry's has always been top shelf I've been coming here since it was the Admirals inn. Always great food always great service Truly a five-star restaurant

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary last night at Harry's. Top notch service, excellent food, and we will definetly be back. It took us over 30 years to return from our first visit. Not this time!
(5)Annie l.
(5)Jeff L.
Haven't eaten here. Just had drinks. It's classy and very nice. The bartenders are professional. I've never had a mediocre drink. They have a good selection of whiskeys but I wish they had even more. Would be nice if they were THE place in northern Delaware for whiskey.
(5)NormaJean C.
