Diabetics at TGI Friday
If you're a diabetic, then you must be extra careful while dining at TGI Friday. Try the salad menu at TGI Friday to keep your sugar and sodium intake in check. Soups are great to keep you full and satisfied without munching on the unhealthy greased meat-based dishes on TGI Friday menu.
Foods to Avoid at TGI Friday for Diabetics:
Sugar and sodium intake are crucial if you have diabetes. While the salads are the best option for you at TGI Friday, it is recommended to avoid the Pecan-Crusted Chicken Salad containing over 1000 calories and 1,650mg sodium. Also, skip Warm Pretzels with Craft Beer-Cheese dipping sauce as it contains more than 3000mg sodium. It is wise to skip the dessert for diabetics, especially the Brownie Obsession topped with Vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce, and pecans.

Considering I don't live in Delaware, I spend entirely too much time at this location. This is my go-to place when I'm in the area visiting a friend and her daughters. Said friend hates -- I mean HATES -- Friendly's and refuses to take her little ladies. Being single and childless, I don't see the big deal and actually love going because I know we're getting ice cream at the end. Staff recognizes me (now it's a good thing -- back in the day during my first visits with small children, being recognized wasn't a great thing) and they're always polite. Food comes out as it should -- hot meals hot, cold items cold. We never ask for refills because our awesome servers always replenish before we even finish our drinks.

Very disappointed with the experience I had last evening. My friends and I decided on a girls night that began with dinner at Friendlys and ended with a movie close by. We ordered our food at 6pm- so we could leave by 7, for a movie that started at 7:20. None of us ordered anything fancy- chicken fingers, a wrap, a sandwich. At 6:50 our food finally came, and we quickly had to scarf it down in order to leave. (We did let our server know we were headed to the movies after dinner, there was only 5 of us) This was extremely disappointing, even though they offered is boxes to take with us...which honestly, we couldn't even do since we would be at a movie for a few hours. We expressed our disappointment to the "Manager," who never even looked up, made eye contact, or engaged in a conversation when we shared with her our experience. All she said was "I gave you a little something off"- Which was $1.50 off the entire check. It wasn't even the discount that irked me- We were looking for someone to validate and at least pretend they were concerned about our experience, and even that was too difficult to do. I would just eat at the theater or head to Red Robbins if you're looking for a quick bite to eat. Apparently, the fry times for Friendlies chicken fingers, fries, etc exceed over 20 minutes.

I only came into this Friendly's to get a "Friend-Z" (basically a Blizzard). The restaurant was very spacious and the ice cream area was incredibly clean. I used to be an ice cream girl at Friendly's when I was in high school, so I know what a pain it is to keep that sticky crap from getting all over the place. My Friend-Z was delicious. I'll be back!

The waffles fries were do over cooked that I couldn't eat them. If you gave a coupon lease print it! In this wonderful world of social media they will not accept downloaded coupons. The manger explained that it's not all Friendlys locations, just this particular location.

Everyone should be familiar with Friendly's. Good sandwiches, burgers, fries, and ice cream. Great spot for kids! This location has horrible service. During my visit, there were 2 other tables in the whole restaurant with people at them. There were 3 waitresses working. It took 5 minutes before my waitress greeted me and then another minute until she took my order. My food was delivered by a different employee. My server never asked if I wanted a refill, never asked if i was ok. Really poor service.
