First off I am sad to see all of the disappointing reviews from other yelpers. I've been to Firestone on several occasions and never left disappointed. Firestone is one of the restaurants at the Wilmington Riverfront. It is a nice place to have a drink, good food and sometimes a live band. During summer they open their huge outdoor patio, which is a plus. It gives a good view of the riverfront. The staff are always friendly and attentive. They also have valet service, which is awesome because parking at the riverfront sucks lol. I usually start off with pizza as an appetizer. I've had a variety of entrees and they all were delicious. The drinks are so-so. i usually go with a glass of wine (or two, depending of what kind of day I had lol). My most recent trip to firestone was this past saturday. As usual I enjoyed my food and wine. We sat on the patio and ate while enjoying the views. Firestone is my go-to place whenever I am out of options. I recommend this place to anyone looking to hang out at the riverfront.

The restaurant is a little hard to find. And the parking lot is quite small. So I would recommend walking or public transportation if possible. They have great drink specials! Another reason I recommend walking or public transportation ;) I went on a Wednesday. The special was 1/2 price bottles of house wine and 1/2 off all pizzas. Naturally I went with both... However it was definitely a hard decision being that the crush list looked amazing and all of the food looked great as well. We got a few of the apps to start (crab fries, spinach dip and crab dip). All of which I would highly recommend and would definitely need to get next time I go back. Out of our group I think we each got a different pizza. No complaints were heard and we were all excited for our leftovers to be lunch the next day. The outdoor space looks epic! I can't wait to go back once the weather gets warmer. I will definitely have a crush in my hand and jamming out to the bands!

This place is kind of hidden by the riverfront. It is connected to Barclay's. They have a huge outdoor patio so I'm sure it's a good spot during the summer for hh with a view overlooking the riverfront. I came here during winter time so everything was closed. They have specials for drinks and food everyday. I came on a Tuesday and they had $5 margaritas and $3 coronas. I got the tuna sashimi salad. It was HUGE. TONS of mixed greens. Get the dressing on the side because it is kind of thick. There was a decent amount of seared tuna and about half an avocado in the salad. Portion wise it was a huge amount of food for $14 but I didn't really like the dressing , it was some kind of balsamic vingertte. Not a huge fan. Lots of mango and onions in there. They were very generous with the salad ingredients but it tasted just average. The cornbread is ON POINT. ($3) best cornbread everrr...must order if you like corn bread too. Comes with a creamy spread, which was probably super fat, but delicious. Service is slow but friendly. Not many customers on the weekend or maybe it was just a slow night.

This is a great place for groups, has a great happy hour, and is one of the few places in the area that has outside live entertainment in the summer. We haven't really had "dinner" there so I can't comment on that. But I highly recommend the crab dip and the buffalo shrimp appetizers during the 4-7 happy hour as well as the pizza. As someone else commented, parking can be problematic at times but if you can uber / lyft it in, all the better. I would say service used to be very slow. But the last few times we've gone, it has been so much better -- the two waitresses out on the lounge area are rockstars -- friendly, attentive, and fast. Last night they were so nice that they had the flowers I got my wife sitting in a little reserved area for us. I really appreciate them going above and beyond.

Danger. Not from the crowds and bouncer, but from the food. Group dinner--ordered a steak. Now, let's see if you can figure this one out. I'll give you the clues. 1. Was told "you can only have steak done medium. 2. Plate was refrigerator-cold. Hot food and room temp plates are bad, but hot food and refrigerated plate? What gives? 3. Broccoli on plate was raw (not even boiled a bit) and 4. Steak tasted so nasty, I spit out the one bite I took. So did the others of the party. So what happened? Got it yet? They made the steaks in advance (possibly sous-vide) and then put hot meat into the cold, sealed. Bacteria had a field day. The cold plate was the give-away along with the "you can only have medium" They plopped the rotted steak on the plate with raw broccoli and a lump of premade potatoes and tried to heat it under an infrared lamp. By the way, you can't cook broccoli that way. The rest of the dinner was equally horrid--raw broccoli is offensive with steak, they can't be bothered to boil it (and Lord knows plain broccoli is pretty lazy.) The potatoes were a nasty lump on the plate of premade crushed reds, warm in the middle and stiff and cold on the outside. To his (slight) credit, the manager came over to offer to take it off the bill (this was a group dinner, so he didn't even know who was the host--it' wasn't me) and offered anything else on the menu--but the meal was over for our party and I had to leave. Plus, I wouldn't eat there if they can spoil (as in food poison) a steak. What else would you do wrong? Not recommended. Well, I do recommend it to one group--the health inspectors. Come'on down.

Just meh, food-wise. Portions were good, but food was mediocre... Host wouldn't let us sit in a large booth because they were "reserved for large groups", of which there were none. It was 2 PM on a Saturday and the restaurant was mostly empty, with at least half a dozen of these large booths, so this struck us as kind of irrational. They did, though, mail me my credit card after I left it there and left town. Good service!

Big fan of the variety of pizzas. A little confused why certain beers are only offered outside or inside and why it seems to be a hassle for servers. Overall, I do really like the food, but it's a bit expensive so I try not to go there often.

Pretty good food but I was concerned with the offensive sign at the entrance. They modified the sign recently but I question the decision making of management to use such a sign in the first place.

I'm just commenting on the night life. We've been coming here a lot this summer of 2014 since my girlfriend moved into the area. The crowd is good. You don't have to worry about getting into any trouble here the staff is excellent and the drink choice is great. The outdoor area is a lot of fun especially with the DJ and the bands who frequent this spot. There is a nice mix of people who come I've never had a problem here not have I ever seen a fight or scuffle. The age is mixed. Some young some old and a lot of in between. They have good drink specials on the weekend too. I've never spent so much to where I'll say wtf what did I buy. You can order and eat at the bar or order something when your about to leave. Be aware they only serve pizza after a certain time however there special pizza menu you can't go wrong with. Come by try it out.

I was in the Wilmington area visiting a friend and asked for him to show me the local bars/restaurants in the area that had outdoor dining. This place was one of our first stops. It was a little early in the day so we had no issues finding seating outside. The staff were very friendly and brought our drinks and food to the table in a timely manner. The Orange crush drinks were amazing. I'm used to getting them in Ocean City Maryland I never knew there was an array of choices. My favorite was the mango orange crush. If you're in the area and looking for outdoor dining with a view, amazing drinks, and good food definitely check this place out.

You just have to know what you are ordering?! Im surprised by such low avg rating. Im glad we have this place nearby though - great outdoor space and live music access. Food wise - i like their chicken tenders, pasta dishes, crab cakes are okay. Pizza is good.

Pizza was pretty good and personal size. Drinks were really good but got "colossal wings" four regular sized wings on a fancy platter. They were not colossal but foo foo pansy. Other than that great bar and food!

Nothing out of the ordinary here. A little more upscale than a dive but still casual enough. Terrible parking situation especially during weekends.

As good as it gets in Wilmington, DE for nighlife. Riverfront restaurant with live DJ and band alternating throughout the night. Light bar menu and $7 drink specials until close at 1am.

Could not be more surprised how perfect this place is! Under the tent for drinks, food and conversation all with great vibes keeping the energy moving. Music helps connect the diverse crowd and provide ample opportunity to dance the night away. Food for me is big and the turkey burger, crab dip and even the chicken tenders were all superb. Yeah Wilmington Riverfront... Where it's happening!!

The food and atmosphere was excellent but as a guest of a party, I was rushed and hurried along as the they double booked another party in the same space. Our party was to end at 7 and the next party started at 7. We were getting cake to go at 6:45 while another party was standing and we were just frazzled. I did not feel welcome at all.

We went for a party at Firestone this weekend. We had a little trouble finding it (all of those buildings seem to look a like). The staff was friendly and accommodating for our special event. I didn't care for the jalapeno lobster bisque, but my special lady friend liked it. It was too creamy for my taste, not spiced enough. I also didn't think that there was enough lobster in it. For an entree, I had the half rotisserie chicken. It had a Cajun seasoning that day and was pretty good. It was well seasoned and juicy. The collard greens were bland and kind of sucky. There was no smoke flavor, the were soaked in water, and completely bland. I definitely would not recommend them. Cole slaw was pretty great, one of the better that I've had. Thin cut strips of carrots and cabbage, fairly dry mayo based slaw. Drinks were reasonably priced. Get a crush, your choice of fresh squeezed citrus with whatever alcohol you are looking for. I also tried a their dark and stormy, it was a bit sweet for my taste. I don't remember what brand of ginger beer they reported using. We stayed at the bar for the rest of the evening. I did not wait more than a minute for a drink at any point in the night. I'd be interested in checking out the patio bar when the weather improves.

Negative Ceroooo!!! The service M-Thursday is Tolerable. The bouncers in the front are amazing and always courteous(guy w/ the locs). I understand that you guys get busy on Friday nights but I feel an air of discrimination as Fridays have been coined the "black night". My friends and I were ignored for about 20 mins and when we finally were able to get the bartenders attention we were greeted with rudeness and ambivalent behavior. The arrogance of this place is unbelievable but what should i expect when they are the only game in a dead town. Firestone get your act together, my tip is based on service not the color of my skin. Drinks-Overpriced. Forced to drink wine in a plastic cup(Inside) Food-Pizza very bland. Buffalo shrimp were great. The Chef is always nice and willing to make changes.

If you want Coors Light, bland pop music and mediocre service, this is the place for you. We arrived and asked for a table outside (there were many - it was a weeknight). The hostess asked if we were getting entrees - I told her no, we were getting apps and drinks. She told us we'd have to sit inside because the outside tables were reserved for people getting entrees. It was a beautiful night so I said "no thanks" and we went to Iron Hill, where we ordered A LOT of apps, drinks and good beers. In previous visits, I have eaten the food at Firestone. However, since we didn't actually eat there during the most recent visit, I will withhold judgement on the food at this time. Next time, I'll just go straight to Iron Hill.

Came here to eat on Mother's Day, where unable to eat outside even though it was empty told could eat in bar all tables dirty, no table side service, and the some how ran out of spinach. Pizza small. expensive and crust to thick n not crisp. Not impressed.

Food is nice. Service seems a bit chaotic, hit or miss. Good place for lunch, reasonable prices. When I was there with a colleague I was already done eating when HIS food arrived after 30 minutes. No apologies, nothing. Not even a free drink. That makes me very hesitant going back.

Meh. The good: Friendly wait & host staff. The patio offers a nice view of the river. The food is edible. They have alcohol. The bad: A place that markets itself as "Craft Pizza" probably should have pizza that's at least as good as Domino's or Pizza Hut. I mean, really?? I could invent "craftier" pizza if you stabbed me in the head with a railroad spike. The crab cakes are just OK which is not acceptable in this area. The caesar salad is underwhelming and the croutons are soft. I suspect that all of the people walking in here after work are either here for the alcohol or are just tired of the limited options in the city. I don't like giving 1 star but I'm tempted to do so here. Again. Meh.

This place can't be in a better location in Wilmington - on the Riverfront, with great views from the tent and patio area. Ideal place to sit outside and have a drink and some appetizers. The ambience and the furnishings, at least outside, are awesome. We did not find the entrees that creative or inspired, so were somewhat disappointed with that. The food was ok, but for the entree dishes, we were expecting something better. The service was ok, but the servers seem distracted and more interested in each other than in the customers. Overall, they've got the location and ambience mastered, but need to work on their service and their menu.

I hope you are sitting for this review... I went to Firestone with 6 of my co workers for a lunch outing. You are probably thinking 7 people... Make reservations but in my mind I believe lunch is one of those meals you shouldn't have to make reservations. Trust me though, I am the king of open table! Who doesn't want the points? Seriously! So we arrive to the Resturant at 12:08 when I realize I forgot to use open table and couldn't make a reservation until 12:30. But the place was empty and my stomach was growling. When I say empty I mean empty. We approach the front desk and as we look aroun the Resturant there are more than a dozen open tables. The response from the host was "20 mins"! Excuse me???? At this point it will take 20 mins to go somewhere else so we made the sad choice to stay and wait. Between 12:10 and 12:30 (on the dot) not a single group of new patrons walked through the door. The dozen plus tables... Empty. Finally we were seated at the obvious table (three other similar ones in size) that remained open from the moment we walked through the door. The sad part.. I could have gained the 100 open table points and probably have been seated at 12:15. This is a terrible process that places no emphasis on customer service and obvious poor judgment of the owner and their staff. SHAME ON YOU FIRESTONE! Decor- outdated, dark, dirty, and empty. The wine rack behind my table was half full and the bottles looked sad. Add an accent wall or two. It's not a pub, paint a wall white for heavens sake! Table Service- she was quick, responsive, and friendly.. No complaints. Food- the pizza was excellent but their buffalo chicken sandwich, a love for many, missed the mark completely. The sand which was hard to eat, the lettuce was wrong and too fancy, and the fries were soggy to the point that I wouldn't feed them to my dog. Overall, I recommend you order a pizza to go because otherwise you will regret your night out! Good luck!

What a difference a year makes, I use to go to Firestone a lot for happy hour last year and that is when I first had their pizza. At the time, I thought their pizza was superb and I would often order it for lunch. Fast-forward to a year later and I had a craving for their pizza and decided to order it for takeout. I ordered the rugged sausage pizza. When I got in my car, I open the box in anticipation to see what the pizza looked like. To my surprise, the pizza was smaller than what I remembered. My first bite into the pizza was lack luster to say the least. I was hoping the next few bites would be better. Unfortunately, it did not get better. My pizza was bland. There was a pesto sauce drizzled on the pizza, but I didn't taste it at all. Maybe the drive back to work ruined my pizza, but I doubt it, because I use to order take out all the time last year and the pizza was just as good as when I sat down inside and at it. I was very disappointed.

Before I moved up to the NYC metro area, this was a spot I loved coming to. Firing the warmer months, the outdoor patio is nice, and looks over the river. Most nights have a DJ and live bands, so check out the event calendar for whose playing on a night. Inside is nice - with many areas to accommodate drinks, dinner or private parties. Tons of seating or bar space if you want to catch the game too. From a food perspective, the pizza is the main attraction here. They also have some good happy hour specials for the corporate folks in the area. Grab the buffalo chicken or plain pizza, and a few orange crushes and you're good to go.

Nice outdoor seating. Huge bar out back. Great vibe and huge menu of food and drinks. Options for everyone. Melissa was a great hostess. Appetizer - crab cakes, spinach dip - average. Wedge salad real good. Pizzas kind of small... About 12 inches ordered two for a party of six. But pretty good. Margherita was better than spinach tomato. Deserts were real good. Brownie sundae was enough for four people. And it was real affordable, with a fun time. Highly recommended for anyone.

We went to this establishment for NYE. The band was in a tent area with couches which could have been a great spot to hang out but there was little to no heating so it was freezing in the tent area. The food was greasy and chock full of butter and we didn't feel well after eating it. The only positive was it wasn't over crowded and those in my group that did want to drink could easily get drinks at the bar. It was also nice that there wasn't many drunk patrons acting obnoxious or ruining the fun of others. The reason for one star is this place is absolutely dangerous. I saw an incredible scene of bouncers beating up on patrons (five bouncers on one smaller gentlemen that looked defenseless) at the end of the eve. I saw a female hit in the chest and another female hit by a very large bouncer. It was like a scene out of a movie. They said they were bouncers and were not forced to leave the establishment so I assume this to be true. These bouncers proceeded to make obscene gestures and yell profanities out to those groups they just abused. This was caught on video/pics. I'm shocked watching it and can not believe these are people that are supposed to keep this place safe and peaceful. If you are a mother, you would not want to find your child here. I feel bad for the individuals that were badly injured and I hope they are ok. While waiting for my ride home, I was told by law enforcement that this is common here and that there are safer establishments in the area to have fun.

Service is pathetic. You finish a beer and they walk past you 8 times like you never ordered anything. This place is only living off the water front view.

The live music on weekends is terrible and extremely loud. Whatever you do, do not come here for the music. Big mistake. You cannot talk in the outdoor patio. There are much better places in trolley square, where you can actually enjoy some decent music without blowing your brains out.

My company held a large happy hour here last night, over 60+ and after the buffet wasn't refreshed for over 30 minutes I decided to place a separate order. I walked up to the most unapproachable hostess (715) and asked to put a to go order in which she begrudgingly did. After I put in a $4.00 tip i had asked to leave my cell on the receipt and since my party was so large to kindly text me when it's ready & I will pick it up. (They have iPads available so I thought this was an easy request) "Um no. Check back in like 15 minutes". Looking around at a vacant inside room I couldn't understand so I repeated myself that I would come to her but my response was still the same "ummm no". So 15 mins later, I squeeze myself through the outdoor crowd to pick up my 3 to go pizzas. Before I head out for the deck I asked her for some plates and napkins. She proceeds to hand me 10-15 COCKTAIL napkins and tells me to go to the bar for plastic plates. I was appalled. Really? Are you serious? My team & I are spending over a grand at the bar for a happy hour and this is the service we get? Wow. The pizza was good but the staff alone make it worth skipping. I've told my senior management that for the next happy hour - we take our $ elsewhere.

Shady business. I went there with my cousins late Saturday night for food and drinks. We sat in the dining room, ordered, ate and hung out for a bit. Everything was good. We all had separate checks and most of us paid with our cards. The next day all of us who paid with credits cards had either an additional charge to our accounts in different amounts than our bill or one charge that was way more than the receipt. I immediately called to complain. Someone called me back to say the charge would be removed in 48 to 72 hours. This shouldn't even have happened in the first place. CHECK YOUR CREDIT CARD STATEMENTS IMMEDIATELY!!!!!! I will not be returning to this establishment which is too bad because there aren't many late night options in Delaware.

Loved the patio and the food. The service was pretty terrible. Cory had a bad attitude and ignord us the whole time until he brought the check. Someone else brought our food out.

The food & drink are good but the service makes it hard to return unless there is absolutely nothing else to do in delaware. My company always has happy hours at this establishment and the fact that they ignore and throw money back at you instead of placing it on the table, makes me not want to return but always try to give it another try. Then today really made me not want to return for lunch ever. I ordered an app. but asked if it could be eaten as a meal and she answered yes then it was no where near a meal. We ordered to go then decided to stay and enjoy the day so we sat outside then, was asked to move since we didnt order there very rudely. For all this i should of just ate my damn sandwich and saved $8 for 3 small fried mac & cheese balls. NOT RETURNING unless for a drink.

Good food and it's a lot of fun during the summer. They've got bands and DJs who come on the weekends and the outside area is big and a lot of fun. A little expensive but worth it. And the last few times I've actually gotten in for free. Otherwise I think it's $5 or $10.

I can't give it any stars really, but I have to give one or cannot post my review. When we got there we were told that there was no indoor service, only outside. Ok. But we had a party of six. No seats. We were told we could sit at the bar, yeah right, with a 16yr old and an 18yr old. Manager said that they weren't allowed to move the tables outside due to possible leg breakage. Lame excuse. When he looked to find a bar like table, not enough chairs, did not even come back to say anything to us about it. They really need to update their website and say only outdoor dining on Sunday and don't have more than 4 in your party. Needless to say we left and went to Joe's Crab Shack, where we got seated right away and had an excellent meal and service. Won't be back to Firestone, that's for sure. Won't recommend this place either. After reading other reviews glad we left.

I would agree with most of the Yelpers, great atmosphere but mediocre food. Firestone is nestled in the Barclay building. They have a patio area with a fairly large bar right on the waterfront. I can only imagine how packed it gets on the summertime. They offer decent specials daily. For example, Tuesday is 1/2 price burger night and Wednesday is 1/2 price pizza night! The pizzas come in an individual size and range from $11-13. I didn't love the pizza particularly because the crust takes up about 50% of the pizza! The crust is extremely doughy and the pizza comes soaked in olive oil. My advice is to skip the pizza and come here for HH!

Great atmosphere. Very fun. It's a place to hang out at. Their outdoor patio is a big plus!!! It's right on the river. I wasn't too impressed with their menu... :( Rather common, cheaper choices. No spunk, no creativity. Definitely not Vegeterian/Vegan/Gluten Free spot! You can find some side dishes maybe... The quality of food was 'whatever'. And it did take them long time to bring any food items out. I may be back for a drink and/or snack, but not for dinner.

See... I don't wanna talk bad about this place because its a cool spot on the Riverfront BUT there are some issues... First off, their happy hour specials suck. And they change up too much. I remember a happy hour visit where their signature pizzas were reduced in price... Not anymore. Now happy hour consists of a $1 off drinks. What kind of deal is that??? Anyway, we went here for my boyfriends bday. They have lounge seating away from the bar (and fyi these seats are hard as hell. No comfort). Downside is the bartenders don't tend to these areas. So we had to keep getting up to order and have the table cleared. Not cool. I was disappointed but since my bf seemed to be enjoying himself I didn't make a big deal about it... Until I signed on YELP of course lol. This place is cool but they gotta improve on a few things. They have a prime location but service and happy hour are a fail.

Firestone has a great atmosphere for a summer Happy Hour. They have plenty of outdoor seating and the best location for drinks on the Riverfront. The food is your average American fare. Although, they have pretty good cornbread and decent personal pizzas. One of my favorite things they do is fry their leftover cornbread and use them as croutons on their salads.

The food is mediocre and not a good value for money. Ambiance is ok, so if you want a great looking restaurant that doesn't taste very good, you should definitely go here. Go on half price night, because then you're at least getting the budget-tasting food at market value. Avoid.

So dissatisfied. This place used to be good, but like the majority of the Big Fish Group restaurants, it is really slipping. Instead of opening more restaurants they need to focus more on quality. We had a reservation for 8 on a Saturday afternoon to celebrate my niece's graduation from college. The reservation was an absolute joke since no one was there, but they acted like they were doing us a favor and proceeded to squeezed us into a mini booth. The place was empty! We asked to sit outside, but we were told the menu was limited outside. We asked to sit at a table, but we were told the tables are in a private dinning room and they don't like to "spread their servers too thin." Really??!! We were the only party in the whole entire dining room! Our server was horrible, sloppy, beyond forgetful and thought it appropriate to tell us he sometimes forgets what he needs to do, so we should remind him. I started to wonder if we were being filmed...is this a joke? Now the food...the french fries were old, cold and beyond greasy, the rotisserie chicken skin was pale and slimy, there was a piece of plastic bag in my nephew's salad, and there was a hair in my pizza! The manager offered to "see what he could do." He took the salad and pizza off the bill, offered a couple desserts for the table to share, and gave us a card for a free appetizer. The whole meal was horrible, and really put a damper on our celebration. The last thing we wanted to do was to see what we might find in the dessert, and several of us were starting to suffer from leg cramps so we decided it was best to leave. We will not be going back...no even for the free appetizer.

I love this place. The only bad part is trying to give directions to friends. A few more signs at the road entrance would definitely help. Inside it gets packed. Too many people want to enjoy it and not enough space. I like it. It gets cozy, where that allows strangers to chat. The dinner area is spaced out nicely. In some seats, you can still see some of the bar tv's. I only wish they kept that outside tent open for the weekends. It holds the heat pretty well and there is a lot of space there for the crowds that are bound to appear.

HORRIBLE, RUDE, TACKY SERVICE. Im going to talk about the HORRIBLE service me and my Girlfriend received tonight. First, when we went to the Hostess table the guy there said "In order to eat outside you have to order more than just a drink and appetizer, and also you can only stay for 90 minutes." Since we had planned to eat dinner, as awkward as that disclosure was, we still decided to eat outside. After our dinner a hostess/hostess manager came up to us and said, "Sorry to interrupt but we have a reservation in 15 minutes." Um WHAT? We just paid 65.00 for our meal and now we have to leave? As side note: There were other open tables (3 to be exact) there. Why us? And then another waitress said the same thing to another young couple, but didn't say anything to a group of rowdy older people that were there before us. This made us feel belittled, unappreciated and downright low. This was at the upmost Tacky Service at its fineset. As a Delaware resident and former Wilmington Resident will NEVER go back there again!

Great place. I decided to try a new place. So, being in Philly, I knew it was only a hop, skip and jump to try the Wilmington Waterfront. To be honest, the only thing I didn't like was being forced to Valet park my car. The cornbread was very good. A good crust, and sweet taste. Now, I wasn't in love with the acutal CORN in the bread, so if they take it out, it'll be perfect. My meal came out on a plate so large, a newborn baby could have slept comfortably on it. The ribs I ordered were good as well, even though they weren't as warm when they came out to my table. If they had been, I would have given the place five stars. I'm glad I found this place, and I think that it's an even better place in warm weather, when they can entertain outside with their fire pits and band. I'm definitely going again!

First time here tonight and thoroughly enjoyed. The outdoor bar and dining area is super nice. Cocktail was fine. Ordered the cornbread with honey butter and the fried macaroni & cheese. Both were excellent. I had the BBQ half chicken which was real good. I chose the au gratin potatoes and macaroni and cheese as my sides and both were very good. My dining partner had the club salad and very satisfied. Instead of the ranch dressing chose the vinegarette. Too stuffed to even THINK about dessert.

Sweetie and I wanted pizza for dinner. Decided to go out instead of ordering in. Had Firestone in our to-try list. Four stars for great pizza, great live music, and delicous drinks. I took away one star because their outside guests don't get the full menu. Not even the specials! The outdoor seating was sprawling. A few more food options would've made it perfect. I had the chicken tenders (yum!), pepperoni pizza (double yum!), and stone crushes cocktail (triple yum!) I'll be back with reinforcements. My girls would love this spot!

Can't really give an opinion on the food or drinks as once we were seated no waiter/waitress ever came up to us for our drink or food order. A male waiter did come by every 5 minutes or so to say he'd be right with us but never bothered to take even our drink order. It didn't seem busy at all at the time and I saw more then a few waitresses so the place wasn't understaffed, they just didn't seem to care how long we had to wait for our food and drinks. After about 15 minutes we just got up and walked down to Iron Hill where we received excellent service. Only giving this place 2 stars cause it does seem to have a nice ambiance, too bad nothing else seemed very good about the place.

Firestone has the location to be a great restaurant, the ambiance to be good restaurant, the service to be a fall-back restaurant, and the execution that makes it not worth returning. The kitchen prepared a chicken that looked dry from across the table, a confusing medley of overdressed greeens in the ahi tuna salad, a Hawaiian steak that was completely undercooked and overmarinated, and a limited draft beer selection that was harbinger of all the disappointments to come. Certainly not the "scene" it claims to be, but it's not really the roasting house either.

The old Conley Ward and CW Harborside site has been redone. The owner also runs Bigfish from what I hear through the rumor mill. I had high hopes for Firestone when I went to a private party at the site. The deck area is large with a nice cover in case of rain, not significantly changed from the previous tenant. There was a nice spread of food available with different dishes so that I got a nice taste of the different specialties. The pizza was cooked in their signature brick oven. There were several types available for sampling. The standard pepperoni pizza was on a thin crust that was crisp. The crust was fairly standard in flavor and while baked in a brick oven it did not have that smokey complex wood fired taste that I had hoped for. The tomatoes were thickly sliced and juicy with a fresh taste. The cheese was mild and somewhat plain. The other pizzas, like the artichoke, tries to be fancy and exciting, but falls a bit short. The burgers are good, but fairly standard. The mix of beef is a bit leaner and leads to a dryer patty. Not overly dry, but not truly juicy either. Buns are normal and toppings are okay. The shrimp cocktail is cocktail after all, not much can be done to mess that up or make it great. The shrimp are large, juicy, and fresh taste. The sauce is plain. Crabcakes are well sized and contain large lump crab, but the cake is somewhat loose and not as dense as I prefer. Overall the place was okay and has large areas for private parties. I do like the venue for gatherings. The food has a nice variety and is well made, but not the best I have had. For dinner the inside venue is cozy and comfortable which will allow nice dinners.

Extremely rude bouncer..old man with dirty dreadlocks! I locked my keys in my car and asked him for help! He treated me poorly and made me feel horrible!

Formerly known as CW Harborside, the main draw for this place is the waterfront patio. Relatively cheap beers, but I agree with some, the bar service can be slow at odd times. Good live and DJ music, and we've never paid a cover. Great place to watch the fireworks on the 4th of July or make a pit stop on the Loops.

I have been to Firestone twice and the atmosphere is pretty good, spacious, and intimate, depending on where you sit. The patio in the warmer months is great, alot going on and sitting by the river is nice, whether it's at a table or at the outside bar. The food isn't bad, but in my opinion most of what's on the menu, which you can find on their website, is not worth the price; but that's just me. I will say that their "Rugged Sausage with pesto Pizza I like very much and it's definitely better than the Columbus Inn's gourmet pizza. Last night I had the Thai Noodle Salad, I have had Thai Noodle Salad and Firestone's came nowhere close to it, sorry not paying 14 bucks for a salad with a couple ounces of steak on it. If you don't mind the prices then give it a try.
Ate here with some family members to celebrate my sister's birthday which was few days earlier. She organized it and was hoping for all her family and friends to eat at the same table, but she got beated out by a reserved party that night. So, we sat at these large circular booths far apart. So, if you have a bunch of friends (more than 5) anticipate you will have to scream and share jokes some distance away. I have to admit, I read the reviews here on Yelp prior to going there. And, yes a lot of it was true to the bone. There must be lack of communication between the servers and the chefs. Our waitress was more than accomodating, she was cute and very apologetic when the other servers brought out the wrong appetizer. Our table ordered a spinach dip, instead came out some jerk chicken fondue thingy which my sister's table also ordered. Basically, the appetizer didn't look too appetizing with its grapes, pineapple, chicken, and some croutons. I didn't taste it either. So our waitress apologized and brought out the spinach dip, which didn't look good or taste impressive either. Well, this looked and tasted like you could throw a bunch of cheese on a box of frozen spinach and microwave it. The corn bread with honey butter was okay, but I think Ms. Tootsie's in Philly is better. My step-mother ordered the roasted prime rib au jus cooked medium. I kid you not, I had flashbacks from field trip of Meadowland's Medieval times looking at this thing with all that fat and grisel and pink in the center. All she could taste was fat, which was obvious so she asked our poor waitress who kindly agreed to take it back and asked for a burger cooked medium done. My step-mother was pleased with this choice as we were almost done with our meals. I ordered the rotissere salad which I had initially requested to have flank steak on it, but somehow it can't be done? Why? Because the chef can't do that? Huh?? Must be a blessing that I sticked with the chicken judging how my step-mother's prime rib looked. The chicken was dry and had no seasoning, nothing rotissere about it. The salad was huge and was okay. The blueberry lemonade martini thing was very good to me just the right amount of alcohol. I do wonder if they are making these waiters sweat to compensate for the poor quality of food at this place. I can't think of what is distinctive about this place. I haven't tried their 'crafted' pizza, so I can't comletely knock them. Overall, this place did not make me say...can't wait to go here again. I don't mind if I'll come here for a drink and share a pizza, but there's nothing here I would have the craving for.

Firestones has the best patio in Wilmington. It's a large area and covered - plenty of room for dancing. There is seating available at the outdoor bar or lounge seats closer to the water. The nightly music offerings are awesome - especially Wed nights when they have Hump Day with HyJinx. Happy Hour on the riverfront makes this a popular spot for local office workers. While the food isn't the greatest, the half price pizza night is helpful. That is why I rated this under "Nightlife" as opposed to "Restaurant".

3.5 (yelp help me out with the half stars please ) I've been here several times for drinks and dancing with my crew, but this was my first experience at a semi sit down dinner. The weather was perfect for sitting on the spacious patio. After putting my name on the list for patio seating I figured id wait at the inside bar for my gals to show up. I sat at the inside bar for about 5 min with absolutely no acknowledgement from the bartender. I gave him the benefit of the doubt thinking that he had just overlooked me accidentally but he literally waited on every other person that came up to the bar other than me (that would be a strike one Firestone). So I knew I wouldn't be giving him any of my $$ I walked outside to the bar and was greeted by a familiar face and given a pretty good drink off the signature cocktail menu. One of my friends showed and she ordered a cocktail as well and we waited for the third person to arrive. Pizzas are half priced on WED so two of us split a original (mozzarella , tomatoes and tomato sauce) I ordered a side salad in addition for some greens in my dinner ( its all about balance) The pizzas are hearth baked in a huge oven and the crust is crispy and gooey all at the same time I enjoyed my pizza very much but wish they offered more pizzas without meat toppings :( All but a few of the wines by the glass are 5.00 so it made for a pretty inexpensive meal. My only two issues with this meal were the rude bartender who I will never go to again. The hostess quoted me a 15 min wait we never did make it to our table because 45 min later the buzzer still hadn't gone off and we just decided to get food at the bar. This place gets pretty packed for HH during the week and the have awesome specials nightly and live music on the deck.

Met here with a group on a Tuesday after work so it wasn't packed. We sat outside under then canopy where we continually combated flies and wasp-like mosquitos. I know the place is huge, but a few citronella candles would have helped. I guess that's the price to pay to have a neat waterfront. Overall, the drinks were not overpriced and the food was pretty good. We got a few different pizzas and the smoked salmon plate (which was very good and large). Service was not fast so I can imagine how it must be when the joint is totally jammed (which I hear it can be). Having the band playing would have been pretty cool if you went for a date but as a large group I can imagine you'd have to retreat inside if you want to hear each other or get service.

I went here for a stand up comedy night, and I have to say, I wasn't terribly impressed. The restaurant itself has a chain-like feeling to it (is it a chain?) and the food was so so. All I really wanted was some respectable food and a coffee. It was 8pm on a weeknight, but they told me they had no coffee available. A bit odd. I also got a beer which ended up tasting exactly like Coors Lite. Someone needs to clean their taps... Service was spotty, but they were at least nice. This is definitely not a place I'd seek out in the future.

Lets just say that this is not the greatest place ever. If you are looking to a crowdy place where after a ok dinner you want to party this is the place. I been to the bar area and if I was to dine he i would not appreciate all the drunks walking by the eating area to go to the bathroom. Yes, I did order some food while at the bar I have heard that the pizza here was great..WELL, lets just say that some one lied to me, very under cooked and since I ordered the Shrimp Pizza I have to admit I was able to count the litle pieces of what I think was Shrimp. Ill end this by saying that if you are looking for food you should go to the take out chinese restaurant, but if you are looking for a bar with live music and weird patrons this is your place.

I've been here four times, mostly because of its great location. Really nice view of the river on a nice day. The chicken and mushroom pizza with truffle oil was ok, but kind of bland. Couldn't taste the truffle oil. The food here is ok, but the service is subpar. I came here with some coworkers who ordered happy hour drinks at the bar inside, and then we wanted to go outside because the weather was nice. Apparently the bar and the outside seating area (despite being directly connected) are completely separate from a "service" standpoint and the restaurant was totally inflexible about this. The waiter outside seemed obsessed with his tip and refused to communicate with the inside bar. The people inside at the bar wouldn't serve anything outside. Result: disjointed and unpleasant experience, extremely confusing for payment. I understand it would be easier for them if we stayed in our "assigned regions," but they need to understand that their customers are going to mill around outside during a happy hour especially if the door is open and it's a nice day outside. They need to work out a system that is more customer-friendly. We came back again because it's so convenient to our workplace, and again there were issues with the outside seating. We sat down in the outside seating area, and were not approached by any server for almost 20 min, at which point we went to find a server. (One server came outside to take care of a table near us, but didn't approach us at all or send another server to help us.) A male server came to our table and politely rebuked us for not notifying them that we were there. I don't think he apologized, and we felt like he practically blamed us for their lack of service. (That was ridiculous, and the main reason I came to Yelp to complain about this.) A third server who eventually waited on our table apologized profusely about our wait and agreed that we had been neglected.

this place is a great place to come and hang out. the outside bar is the only reason i would go. Ive never had an issue with the outside bartenders. it does get busy outside and you may have to wait for you drinks, but no longer then a few minutes. i came here once with my wife and ate in the dining room. i had the french dip. it smelled like a wet dog and it didn't taste any better. my wife had a burger and it wasn't anything special, tasted bland. then we came another time and had a pizza. once again the pizza wasn't anything special. nothing about it stood out. i had a slice and so did my wife and we payed the bill and just upped and left it their. after that i never ate here again. just came for the atmosphere. im not saying don't try it. its been over a year since we have eaten here, maybe and hopefully it has gotten better.

Firestone opened this month on the Riverfront, at the location that was previously known as C.W. Harborside steakhouse. Firestone serves "craft" pizza, steaks, and as before, a large bar with plenty of screens for your favorite sports. This was our first visit. It looks like they are still getting their act together. We arrived at the beginning of dinner service/happy hour (starts at 4pm) and things seemed chaotic. We tried a pizza, a steak, and an appetizer, to get a sampling of their offering. For appetizer, we tried the jerk chicken fondue. Sounds interesting on paper, but you can't take chicken (it was tasty), some fried croutons, grapes and pinapples and expect it to go with melted cheddar (?) fondue. The result was weird and not recommended. $10. The pizza was good: made in a brick-fired oven, decent crust, good toppings that are arguably "crafty" (we had the chicken and mushroom). A bit pricey at $11-12 for relatively small pizzas, but this is not Papa John's. Still I'd recommend you try one. I ordered the Hawaiian Ribeye. What came out was a NY strip with "Hawaiian" marinade. Now, I don't mind if a ribeye has to be substituted for strip, but couldn't someone just inform me that they were out of ribeye and checked with me whether that was OK? It's a bit insulting if they thought I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. Regardless, it was tasty and a very sizable strip for the reasonable price of $26 with two sides. As for the sides that are available, they need to be a bit more creative. There seemed to be 4 or 5 potato preparations, 1 vegetable du jour and 1 couscous. C'mon guys... there is only so much potato one can eat. Try something like creamed spinach, sauteed mushrooms, fried onions, or others that might actually give me some choice. Service was a tad slow. I couldn't figure out how they allocate their servers, as my waitress was cris-crossing all over the place along with the other servers. What's going on? Even with the fumbles, I'm hoping it's a one-time thing. I'd like to see this place straighten things out, as it's nice to have something other than seafood restaurants along the Riverfront. I was disappointed with the closing of CW Harborside, but now it seems we got it back, albeit under a different name, plus brick-fired pizza. Okay, aside from the food, my only other complaint: lose the boulders. Yes, I get it... fire"stone"... but they just look stupid just lined up like that like leftover construction debris. We know how to get to the entrance just fine without them. Better place a few of them around the patio and put some lighting around it to make it look like "fire". At least it'd be decorative. But hey, that's just me.

I have never actually eaten here but I can say its a great happy hour place when you ge out of work and all you want is a nice glass of wine or coctail. Its right on the riverfront so great views and if you stay late enough you can hear the live bands on the weekend!

Service was good, food was good, and prices were reasonable. It's not just a restaurant, but also a bar. When I visited, they had switched over to a very limited late night menu and we were required to sit near the bar which was super loud. This place would've gotten a fourth star if we could've had dinner in a slightly quieter place.

Big let down:( We have been wanting to try Firestone's all summer and after finally getting there, I wish we hadn't. Appetizers, we ordered the "Artichoke" Spinach Dip and Jerk Chicken Fondue. The Dip was pure spinach, good luck finding an artichoke or any cheese in it. The Fondue was horrible. The cheese was more of a flour base than cheese. The chicken that came with it was tender and well seasoned. But I wouldn't order either of them again. My husband and I ordered the ribs. Falling off the bone tender, we were excited for a moment until we tasted them. The BBQ sauce was horrible. It was pasty and grainy, didn't have a good BBQ flavor at all. Later, after reading some of the other reviews I've notice others complaining about the bbq sauce. You would think owners and management would see these reviews and change some things. One of my sons ordered the filet med rare, it was rare. He enjoyed his Mac n cheese! Another son ordered the "10oz" Hawaiian Hanger Steak, which looked to be no more than 4 oz. compared to the 8 oz. Filet. Our third son ordered the seafood pizza and didn't enjoy it either. He ate one slice and didn't even want to take the rest home. Overall it was very disappointing. If we ever return, it would be for drinks at the outdoor bar.

This place was really happenin' last night (Saturday). I had a couple of beers, a few friends and a great time! I didn't order any food... already had dinner at my temporary home (that I will be at for the next 7 weeks). A Place with NO COVER on a weekend? Fantastic! Great DJ Great Live Music The atmosphere was relaxed but happy and still full of LIFE! Seemed to be All Ages, some dancing, some viewing... I need to get back there and try the food. Any suggestions?

FireStone has a great atmosphere and a spacious riverfront patio area. In the warmer months there's generally a long waiting list at dinnertime for seating in the patio area, but if you're just going for drinks there's an outdoor bar as well. The menu is pretty varied, their specialty being personal-sized pizzas (though they're big enough for two people). I haven't tried many types of their pizzas, but the few I've tried were delicious. I think their veggie burger is pretty good, but a vegetarian friend of mine described it as almost TOO meat-like. The pricing is about average for the area. The servers are pretty friendly and the bartenders know their stuff. However, on one occasion I was unable to order an item on the menu because, as the waitress told me, the kitchen was out of the necessary ingredients which I found a little odd for such a large operation. Usually there's plenty of space, but on weekends - especially during Summer - the bar area can get very, very crowded. And at New Years this past year, it was so crowded it felt like a sold-out show at the Electric Factory. Overall it's a nice place with a good atmosphere and great food, and I intend on going as soon as the patio is opened up for Spring.

We made reservations for seven for dinner. They sat us in a corner of the bar with no server. We had to walk up to the bar (repeatedly) to order our food and drinks. The bartenders made us leave our credit cars with them to keep tabs open. As we were leaving a person in our group realized they left their credit bard behind. They immediately turned around to go pick it up. The bouncer blocked their way, told them to walk to the end of the line (which was up to a 30 minute wait at this point) and pay cover to get the card back. Six of us said we would wait outside where the bouncer could see us while the person ran in, or had the bouncer escort the person to get their card, or just have the bouncer run and grab the card to return it. "Come back tomorrow and get your card, it will still be here." Kidnapping credit cards, rude bouncers, and the lack of any service will keep us from returning, but the staff won't care because the place will still be overcrowded. I can't understand people's fascination with watching a bad cover band next to mosquito infested waters, but it seems to be working for Firestone.

Took my wife here on the Saturday night before Valentine's Day this year. Wasn't originally expecting to go here, but kind of stumbled in. The atmosphere was pretty cool. We were actually seated in a little room off the main area - it had maybe 6 tables and a wall of wine in it. We almost wished we had asked to be seated in the main area since the little room was kind of intimate, and we could easily hear conversations of the tables on either side of us. The service was very good though. I had the half-rack of ribs, which I wasn't a big fan of. They were cooked fine, but I didn't like the taste of the sauce for some reason. That's likely a result of my personal taste and not anything to do with the quality of the meal. But the cornbread with honey butter as an appetizer was awesome. My wife ordered the Thai Steak and Noodle salad, and she thought it was great. We each ordered tea to drink and didn't get dessert - our total bill was around $45 with tip. I'm glad we went for the experience, but not sure I'd purposefully make the trek downtown to go back again without a reason. Maybe eating on the waterfront patio in warmer weather would make a big difference.

I would not recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a great dining experience. Here is everything that went wrong when we went to Firestone: 1) You have to pay to use the parking lot that is at the restaurant. 2) When we walked in the hosts didn't even look at us, they were chatting with each other and one of the valets. There was no greeting and we had to wait until they were done chatting to tell them we had a reservation. 3) Once we were seated, no one came to our table to take our drink order for about 15-20 minutes. We had to ask someone walking by if we had a server. 4) Our server, who told us it was her third time working on a Saturday and only second time on her own, did not put our appetizer order in. She made this mistake with the table next to us too. We told her we still wanted the apps but did not want them to come out at the same time as our entrees. 5) The appetizers arrived about 5-10 minutes before our entrees so not only could we not enjoy the apps, we had an extremely crowded table once the entrees came out. 6) My steak was under cooked so I sent it back, when it came out again it looked like they had popped it in the microwave and was then over cooked. Luckily it still tasted OK and I didn't have to send it back again. 7) Our server was so bad, they gave us a new one mid-meal. She was clearly more experienced but still not great. 8) They were out of two of their five desserts so it took 15 minutes just to order because they kept having to come back to the table to tell us. It took another 20 minutes to get a brownie which was not even good. The food was actually decent, which makes it more disappointing that the service is SO bad. The decor is lackluster and they brought our waters out in plastic cups. There were a lot of employees walking around but they didn't seem to be doing anything. I will not be going back to this restaurant because of the poor service.

Firestone has vastly improved since it first opened (or re-opened as Firestone). I ate here twice and came at night once within a few months of their opening and the service was horrendous. I decided to give it another chance a few weeks ago and was very pleased. The food has always been good, but it's nice to see that the service has improved. Be prepared for the restaurant to be out of whatever you order. I have never been able to get the prime rib because, as the menu warns, it sells out early. (I'm unconvinced that they actually ever serve the prime rib; I think it's on the menu just to tease customers.) Their other menu items also sell out. The kitchen has extremely poor communication with the wait staff, so don't be surprised when your waitress comes back to you five to ten minutes after you order to tell you they're out of something. We ordered the Hawaiian pizza (on special that night) and the Hawaiian hanger steak to match. They were out of the hanger steak so we had the filet instead. Both dishes were wonderful. The filet was tender and perfectly cooked and the pizza oozed cheesy deliciousness. My biggest complaint is the lack of options in their sides. Their only vegetable is the vegetable of the day, which is usually steamed broccoli or something equally unappealing. I would give them four stars if they would add a salad as one of their sides. The au gratin potatoes are amazing and the mac and cheese is pretty good. We came back a few days later to enjoy the bar scene, which is always lively. We were able to get drinks much faster than I have in the past. The live music was great and the band even did an encore. Overall, this is a great place for dinner and drinks.

Went here tonight for dinner for the first time. I was very excited but it did not live up to my expectations. I'll start with the pros: the atmosphere was great, both inside and outside. I'm actually going back on a Friday or Saturday this summer to check out the bar patio. The drink menu looked good and I love me some patio drinking. Also, the cornbread with honey butter was delicious, though overpriced. For $5 I think we should have had twice the amount. Cons: Service was slow and all over the place. We ordered the cornbread as an app, the entree sized chopped salad, side of sweet potato fries and a rack of ribs w/ veggies and rice. The cornbread came out right away, which was nice. A short while later my salad came out. I started eating because I figured my fiance's ribs and my fries would follow shortly. I was wrong. I was eating the salad for a good 20 minutes before the ribs showed up, and when they showed up it was a 1/2 rack instead of the whole rack. The waitress ran over and dropped the plate with us so fast that we couldn't even say anything about it until we were able to flag someone else down, quite a few minutes later. The waitress misheard us, which was okay, but it was annoying. Then a few minutes after this the sweet potato fries decided to show up and join the party. It was just strange/inappropriate timing for everything. I felt bad chowing down on the massive salad while my fiance sat there twiddling his thumbs for 20 minutes. In terms of taste, cornbread was awesome, everything else was a let down. Sweet potato fries could have been good if they weren't loaded with salt... not the mention the dipping sauce was just odd. I actually couldn't figure out what was in it. The salad was alright. The hearts of palm unfortunately overpowered the taste of everything else. There was shredded rotisserie chicken in it, which was tasty, juicy and tender- however they didn't do the best job carving it. There was a noticeable amount of cartilage/skin/fat still clinging to the pieces. The ribs were cooked very well- tender and falling off the bone. They would have been great, but the BBQ sauce was completely lacking and under seasoned. Unfortunate. Also, the veggies that came with it were waterlogged, bleached of color and mushy. I left disappointed but the bar had such an appeal that I plan on coming back... I just won't order any food off the dinner menu. The pizza did look tasty, however!

I've never been inside of this place. We pretty much stumbled upon it while walking the riverfront. The atmosphere outside was awesome. The bar w/ a few couches and seats to just have a drink and relax. Just had one drink, which was very potent, and an appetizer that wasn't bad. I would recommend this place if its nice out and you just want to chill. The only thing missing was a TV.

Arguably, the best bar in Wilmington. The outdoors area and bar are excellent. Food was good. Reasonable prices. The parking situation is the only drawback.

Everything about the restaurant was great, service was friendly and attentive. The craft pizza I had was great. The price was fair. The only thing about this location that is hit or miss is the parking. If they could somehow acquire a bigger lot that is nearby, it would be the perfect place to go. I plan to go back often.

Food was HORRIBLE. Honestly it's overpriced pub food. The pizza and the sweet pototoes fries is the best entree. Also they don't offer the same appetizers at the bar as they do when you are served at a table? what up with that ? I asked for ketchup for my burger, it served to me in a small to go appetizer cup. NOT IN A TYPICAL HEINZ KETCHUP BOTTLE ?????

Been here twice service is good food not so much. Ribs are dry and tough, prime rib had no flavor. Sent both back and got burgers instead. Burgers were good fries are good. Would like to have bar happy hour menu on patio area. Large groups should not be allowed to take over patio area. Wife and I felt like we were pushed out by large group trying to sit at a 4 top. They would grab chairs from other tables and had people hanging on railing around patio, Management didn't do anything.

Only lived in the area for 4 months and we're impressed. This place is comparable to a riverfront bar in Georgetown. Amazing patio with great built-in features. People love to brag about trolley, but this place is cleaner, less trashy and has more self-respect. Pros: -atmosphere and layout. huge space, beautiful space. -drink and food specials all the time, so the prices aren't that ridiculous. on average we spend less here than trolley...and have a better time here. -great food. we thought delaware was oblivious to good pizza, until we came here. well the rest of the state might still be oblivious, but their pizzas are great. salads are great, burgers are great. mac and cheese is great. -TVs everywhere, great for games. -nice staff. always well staffed. they're attentive and for the most part friendly... there's this one rude brunette bartender with tattoos... anyway the rest of the staff will give great recommendations when ordering food or drink. -socially, they have fun events, themes and promos. -crowd is eclectic. i've seen 21 year olds to 60+ somethings at the bar. wonder if the crowd changes in the summer seasons when it gets busier? hope the scum don't take over... Cons -Live entertainment has been OK, not amazing by any means. -The weather hasn't been cooperating this year and we're anxiously awaiting the outdoor patio to open. In short: great scene, great food.

I went there for a friend's birthday, and to see my favorite local band "Daze End:" There was literally maybe 10 people around my side of the bar with 5 bartenders. I waited 10 minutes to get noticed for a refill, I already had a tab open. so I decided to wave to get noticed. The female bartender said "WHAT DO YOU WANT??!!!" I said refill please..then she said " WE HAD A COMPUTER PROBLEM.....SIR!!!!" with the worst attitude. I said " i understand, but if if someone would've made me aware of that instead of ignoring me..." before I finished, she grabbed my empty cup and threw it away and look at me with that F.U attitude." I guess she forgot that in the service industry you need to be in control of your feelings, and understand that a paying customer should not suffer the consequence of a faulty system, in this case the computer system. Don't step into firestone unless you are expecting a low class establishment type of service. If you enjoy being abused, then it's the right place for you.

i was here for a bachlorette party. i had my own tab. i ordered a draft beer. when i got another beer the bar tender gave me a bottle. then after 2 more drafts i was told the bottles were only 2.00 and drafts 3.75. why didnt someone tell me that the first time i ordered? and i was charged for 7 draft beers which i didnt have. when i questioned the bartender she claimed i was with a group of girls and that is probably why i was charged more. i knew none of these girls and they were not on my bill. i told a few people about this and was told Firestone's has a reputation for over charging the customers. i will not go back to this place. but i will have to admint the pizza is pretty good. i will give 2 stars based on service. it is a shame because the pizza is so good but i won't go back.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

(3)Chris S.
Big fan of the variety of pizzas. A little confused why certain beers are only offered outside or inside and why it seems to be a hassle for servers. Overall, I do really like the food, but it's a bit expensive so I try not to go there often.
(4)Haley G.
Enjoyed the experience. Mac and cheese was awful. My boys enjoyed their pizzas, my sandwhich was not very enjoyable.
(3)Bilal M.

(4)Lindsey C.
You just have to know what you are ordering?! Im surprised by such low avg rating. Im glad we have this place nearby though - great outdoor space and live music access. Food wise - i like their chicken tenders, pasta dishes, crab cakes are okay. Pizza is good.
(4)John B.
Pizza was pretty good and personal size. Drinks were really good but got "colossal wings" four regular sized wings on a fancy platter. They were not colossal but foo foo pansy. Other than that great bar and food!
(3)Renee B.
Nothing out of the ordinary here. A little more upscale than a dive but still casual enough. Terrible parking situation especially during weekends.
(3)Victoria S.
As good as it gets in Wilmington, DE for nighlife. Riverfront restaurant with live DJ and band alternating throughout the night. Light bar menu and $7 drink specials until close at 1am.
(4)Alice C.
Updating review from 3 to 4 stars because I love their cornbread so much and veggie burger
(4)Danny B.

I have yet to receive any call backs from the GM of this establishment. I had to file a case with the Delaware Dept. of Human Relations. Case is still pending.

(2)D S.
Came here to eat on Mother's Day, where unable to eat outside even though it was empty told could eat in bar all tables dirty, no table side service, and the some how ran out of spinach. Pizza small. expensive and crust to thick n not crisp. Not impressed.
(1)Hans N.
Food is nice. Service seems a bit chaotic, hit or miss. Good place for lunch, reasonable prices. When I was there with a colleague I was already done eating when HIS food arrived after 30 minutes. No apologies, nothing. Not even a free drink. That makes me very hesitant going back.
(2)Sean E.
Again. Meh.
(2)Rick D.

The atmosphere was very nice and clean The waitresses very accommodating. Thay also have an outside band that you can enjoy. The food was very good.

(4)Joe L.

(1)Robert M.
Service is pathetic. You finish a beer and they walk past you 8 times like you never ordered anything. This place is only living off the water front view.
(1)Ruben L.
The live music on weekends is terrible and extremely loud. Whatever you do, do not come here for the music. Big mistake. You cannot talk in the outdoor patio. There are much better places in trolley square, where you can actually enjoy some decent music without blowing your brains out.
(1)Michele K.
(1)Melanie R.
(1)Katy T.
Loved the patio and the food. The service was pretty terrible. Cory had a bad attitude and ignord us the whole time until he brought the check. Someone else brought our food out.
(2)Jeanette P.
(3)Morgan G.
Good food and it's a lot of fun during the summer. They've got bands and DJs who come on the weekends and the outside area is big and a lot of fun. A little expensive but worth it. And the last few times I've actually gotten in for free. Otherwise I think it's $5 or $10.
(4)Laurie A.
(1)Kim H.
(3)Jaa B.
Poor food, lousy service and horrid entertainment. There are far better options on the riverfront.
(1)Izabella J.
(3)Yvette F.
(3)Gina R.
(3)Edward k.
The food is mediocre and not a good value for money. Ambiance is ok, so if you want a great looking restaurant that doesn't taste very good, you should definitely go here. Go on half price night, because then you're at least getting the budget-tasting food at market value. Avoid.
(1)Liz L.

This must be the place to be on a Friday night because it was packed. I liked the atmosphere and our waitress was good but the food is just okay. I got the Bob Marley pasta and my fiancé got the pepperoni pizza. Nothing to write home about. I would go back for the atmosphere and drinks. Not the food.

(3)Patty V.
I have never actually eaten here but I can say its a great happy hour place when you ge out of work and all you want is a nice glass of wine or coctail. Its right on the riverfront so great views and if you stay late enough you can hear the live bands on the weekend!
(4)Bryan N.

Just went for drinks and to watch a band. Good times. I'll revamp my review when I eat there.
