I ate here last night with my mother, aunt and cousin and we had the WORST service I think I've ever had at a restaurant. The server, a young black girl with glasses and bleach blonde/orange tips, looked miserable from the moment she came over. She took more then 10 minutes to get drinks, just drinks. When we finally placed our order we waited more then 30 minutes for the food to come out and the order was wrong, most likely because she didn't write the orders down. So it went back to the kitchen with no apology for messing it up, and she came back to the table and asked my mother, whose order she messed up, "what did you want?" Are you serious? Do you train your servers how to address guests? If anything a manager should have come over and apologized for the mistake and compensated something, maybe the glasses of wine that were suppose to be house but she charged us for the more expensive one. We when asked for boxes and the check and once again she disappeared. We waited so long another waiter had to come over and track her down for us and get us our boxes. When he returned with them he said she was just wondering the floors and he wasn't quite sure what she was doing. Bravo Olive Garden you really do a fine job with your employees and ensuring guests have a pleasant experience. We will not be dining here again.

I normally avoid chain restaurants. But my partner has kids and they like the Olive Garden for some reason. This visit was just another visit to a chain restaurant for which I don't know its raison d'etre. Bland, soggy food, square pieces of salmon, and lackadaisical service. But again, this is suburbia with its accompanying sterility. The best I could say about our entire stay is... meh... Our waitress forgot our iced teas about ten times. The salmon was overcooked. The broccoli was a green paste. Yes, some good bread.

Not that I wanted to write a review of an Olive Garden, but their service is so incredibly bad that it rated mentioning here. We were tired, hungry, craving spaghetti and this was the first place which came to mind and wasn't out of the way. The bartender who was to take our to-go order was so painfully uninterested in us (and apparently in doing his job) that we contemplated leaving. Seems like their management and staff needs a complete overhaul; and saying this for an Olive Garden is saying a mouth fulL!!

Olive Garden's best value is the lunch soup, salad, and breadsticks. I have ventured out and gotten the lasagna. It is a chain store, so be prepared to be filled with free bread and soda so that they can get you out and put the next guests in your seats. I didn't find the staff particularly nice , in fact, our waitress was flat out rude. Save yourself a bad experience and lame food and go up to Corner Bistro down the street.

I have been to this Olive Garden a few times and as far as Olive Gardens go, I have always had a good meal and good service. I will go back

I have to say, Ive never stopped in here before as my usual OG is in Dover but now when Im in the area Ill be stopping here for takeout. I was past lunchtime but the staff was able to hook me up a sandwich. The bar staff went over & above to make sure I was happy. Excellent service, excellent staff will definitely keep me stopping in again & again.

So let me preface this by saying I normally am not a fan of the Olive Garden. There are far too many good real Italian places in NY, plus my only other experiences were in Times Square, where I felt sick every time. (I know, my own fault for eating in Times Square.) However my husband I were staying in a hotel next door and I didn't feel like driving, and none of the other four restaurants in the complex had decent vegan options. So we went to Olive Garden. First if all, the service was fantastic. Everyone from the hostess to the person who brought our drinks (Roxanne, I think?) to our server Jamie was fabulous. Jamie especially was so so helpful with selecting vegan options on the menu. I got the whole wheat linguini with marinara primavera which was really tasty. She also brought us the salad with croutons in the side because they have cheese, and gave me a separate order of bread sticks without butter. Thank you Jamie for making it such a great experience! P.s. husband got the Italian margarita which was tasty and different. I got the house white wine, which was not tasty. Spend and extra $2 and get real wine :)

This is the best Olive Garden I've ever been to! Easy to find parking, clean and service was quick. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. The manager, Mark, checked on our table at the beginning of the meal and stopped by again to thank us when we got the bill. The chicken parmigiana was breaded and fried perfectly. Absolutely delicious! I would definitely come to this location again.

Not typically an Olive Garden fan, but the food was great along with the great service from Mustafa.

Soup and salad! Soup and salad! I absolutely love coming here for a quick, satisfying, reasonably priced meal. The endless soup and salad deal they have is great. This visit we had Mostafa as our serve and he was the absolute best. He only works on the weekends we learned but he has been there for over 20 years. He was very attentive and had a great personality. My fiance and i dine out pretty often so we are picky about service. We both agreed he was great :)

OG is what it is! Salad was crispy and fresh, bread stick warmed and our initial service was very attentive but declined the longer we stayed! New stuffed chicken marsala was good nothing over the top, the salmon bruschetta with seafood risotto was kinda bland and salmon was dry, tour of Italy was basic lasagna, fett Alfredo and breaded chix parm... Review was good, shrimp Alfredo review was just ok also. We started with calimari, sampler plate and crispy artichokes. They came to the table as expected. We make it to OG once a year and that's enough. As stated at the beginning OG is consistent and a decent place ( chain ) to grab a bit to eat.

Today i went to lunch with my wife and daughter. We chose the unlimited salad with our meal. It was very good. Everything was fresh. The food was very good. Also the waitress we had was very friendly. I don't remember her name exactly. I would give it 5 stars, but when the waitress brought the plates for the appetizers one was very dirty. She did trade it out for anther one, but it should have never even made it to the table. So I have to give Olive Garden 4 stars.

This one is your reliable friendly Olive Gatden. What I particularly like about them is their serving staff who are always cheerful and make you feel comfortable always. It gets busy on the weekends but I have never had to wait too long either - they manage the crowd well. Chicken Marsala is my all time favorite at this place. And the signature salad is ever so consistent!

The server was very helpful but a little too talkative. Told us the story of his whole life. That's the good part. I asked for ranch dressing for my salad. Turns out this place does not have any ranch dressing, wow. We paid over two bucks for the soda and did not get a single refill. The breadsticks did not taste as fresh as the ones in other Olive Gardens I have been to.

Pasta was pretty good. Best thing about OG is the unlimited breadsticks and salad, both of which were half decent. Horrid service. Server gave my wife hot tea in a soda glass. You couldn't pick up the glass because it was super hot. He finally produced a tea cup and expected her to pour it from soda glass to tea cup. Our waiter left restauarnt mid shift and we had to find someone to attend to us. I've had much better service at the Springfield location.

This happens to me the closest one from where i live in PA but its worth the trip. I don't know how any one can go wrong with the olive garden. I was reading through the reviews on this location and i would agree there was one time where our waitress was just awful. She never came over for refills and really didn't look like she wanted to be there. But that's 1 time outta 10 so i cant let that ruin what is a great place to eat.

I never thought I'd stoop to writing a review of an Olive Garden, but these guys irked me. It's the only restaurant in the North Wilmington area that refused to put some food that we brought on a plate in a microwave for my son with the food allergies. Insurance issues? Huh? Screw 'em. We only checked because one of my daughters, whose palate needs refining, wanted to go there. Even she's annoyed at them for her little brother's sake. Check out any of my other reviews of Wilmington restaurants, fellow parents of allergic children. They'll all nuke something for your kid if you ask.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
