Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

This is a small, cozy restaurant and bar inside the Ramada Hotel. It's very convenient if you are staying at the Ramada, although from what I noticed, few hotel guests take advantage of it. There weren't more than a few customers in the dining area every time I went by. I'm not a good judge of Italian food. I thought what they had was just fine. Their nightly specials are quite reasonably priced. There is a buffet with a few dishes on Monday nights and the rest of the week, the special appears to be spaghetti and meatballs. The one time I went there was for the Monday night buffet. Service was good.

Came here as a guest at the Staybridge Suites which is connected to the restaurant. When I sat at the bar I was immediatly turned off by a stack of dirty dishes to my right. The bartender served in a dual role also working as a waitress. She seemed overwhelmed and spent extra time focusing on a group that appeared to be regulars. Ordered a Vodka seltzer with Shmirnoff and was charged $6.50 which seemd steep. Can't comment on the food because it was 10-15 minutes before I was even asked what I wanted to order. Regretfully paid for my overpriced drink never to rerurn.

I thought it was convenient that this restaurant was only a nice walk from my hotel. I ate at the bar (which is the best place to eat alone). I ordered the Veal Saltimbocca. The salad was drenched, and I mean drenched, in salad dressing. I was waiting to hear if I wanted salad with my salad dressing. Too much! The veal was good, not amazing, just good. A little pricey for my taste. The reason why this review got two stars was because I got sick as a dog when I got back to the hotel. I will not be likely to be eating there again in the near future.

Not Olive Garden! This is a very overlooked place, run by an Indian staff (family?) that simply serves excellent food, very cheap, in a very nice atmosphere, at a leisurely pace. I get the scampi, and the wife usually gets a pasta dish or perhaps chicken marsala, and we're never disappointed. The canoli is super as well. The wine is very reasonably priced by the glass. The dining room has been renovated in the past year, and its actually less interesting. They shrank it somewhat, which is not surprising, because there's never anyone there. I liked the fountain, too, and was sorry to see it go. Reservations? Nah - we're often the only people there! Try it - I'd hate to see this place go away.

When first walking in you notice that it is small. The over turn diner salad plates make you double think...do I really want to eat here. Then I recalled it was not my choice, I was at a britday dinner..back to the review. The service at first was bad, one guy which English was not the his first, was taking care of out order. After 25 mins he finally got everyone order, 19 of us. I got a diet coke which could not be more than 8oz and a lot of ice. Then all this food came out. We told the nice man we did not order it, he said its on the house. It was very good. We ate so much food before our meal we could not finish our dinner. The meal it's self was a good size and was ok. I think was sets the tone is the emptiness of the place. If I near there I would go but would not go out of my way to go there.
