I've only ordered take out here, so I can't speak to their service. But their sushi is amazing! It's incredibly fresh and affordable. I love their tuna rolls!

What a shame. I will start out by saying that Little Teriyaki has really good food. For the price (read: cheap!) you can't beat their sushi. But after many, many visits and second (third, fourth, fifth...) chances, I can't give Little Teriyaki my business anymore. The service is absolutely atrocious. Certain customers receive special attention while others are completely ignored (and I've been on the short end of that stick every single time). Wait times are ridiculously long. One time, I ordered takeout, got to the restaurant 10 minutes after they told me my food would be ready, and I waited an additional 45 minutes for my order. No one even apologized. The girl at the counter handed me my food without a word and walked away. This past Friday night, after waiting and waiting for the check, I went up to the counter to pay. The two girls at the counter were playing a game on a phone and would not look up at me. When they finally noticed and I was done paying, the one employee who finally helped me literally threw my receipt at me. What did I do to deserve such nasty treatment? Who knows, but it was enough for me to swear off Little Teriyaki for good.

Come here if you'd like to be treated like you're at a Vietnamese Nail Salon. This *was one of my favorite sushi places in Newark. It was small, reasonably priced, and the sushi was delicious. The other cooked dishes I tried were also very good. However, they have recently moved from a counter ordering process to a full service sit down restaurant and they are severely missing the mark. I have had two separate experiences where the service was tragically slow and incredibly rude. If you are on a lunch break, I can almost guarantee you will be late returning to work. There are two servers that could not be bothered to smile or be polite. I will NEVER return to this restaurant and I will be sure to tell everyone I know not to go there either.

Great bubble tea smoothies, terrible teriyaki, overpriced sushi. Came in around 8 PM and the place was FREEZING-- we wanted to eat in but couldn't even take off our jackets as it was too cold so we opted to go home instead. There's a lot of options in the Newark area for bubble tea and smoothies, I'd recommend going somewhere with much better and more reasonably priced food.

My favorite place to get sushi. It's quality that won't break your bank. The bubble Te is always great and the special rolls are out of this world! Plus all the employees are friendly

Great, reasonably priced teriyaki and sushi. Hubby has had both chicken teriyaki and beef teriyaki and loves them. I always get the green roll and it is fresh and yummy, exactly what I'm looking for. If it's cold outside, get their hot tea - extremely extremely delicious.

worst chinese restaurant in the whole united states! it's not real chinese food nor Japanese food. I ordered pick up on phone, and I stood in the check table for 15 mins, nobody asked me anything coz they all seemed so "busy". Choose any other restaurant if you want to have better services and food!

My girlfriend and I have been here plenty of times and I have tried everything from the sushi to the ramen and too the hot pots and the teriyaki chicken. The sushi is on par with Mayflower but is definitely cheaper and the rolls contain 8 pieces, the teriyaki chicken is good but I have had better. But this place has some secret home run gems that you must try. The ramen is top notch and and the pork is very tender and juicy and savory. Their best dish is definitely the hot pots which are huge and is hard for two people to finish. The hot pots include freshly cooked meat on their flat grills with onions. And include a bowl of steamed rice which is also top notch. My girlfriend and I get a different hot pot each time and our favorite is the chicken or pork intestines hot pot. The bubble tea is top notch but sometimes we get it served without ice. That last bit is literally my only complaint. If you do chose to go please order one of their hot pots that alone makes this restaurant a home run. This is my favorite Asian restaurant by far in Delaware.

I'm not sure what this place is supposed to be. Sushi and bubble tea? It seems like a take out type of place. I wanted to try their bubble (boba) tea and I wasn't too impressed. The tapioca pearls were almost gooey and it was warm. At least it was cheap.

I'm a fan of this place. It is definitely a worthy competitor to Mayflower. I wouldn't say I'm a good sushi critic, but this place is my go to for sushi. It blows Mayflower's sushi out of the water. The incredible roll is incredible. The angry dragon and pink lady are also solid. I think the sushi prices are reasonable. Actually, they're definitely more reasonable than Mizu on Main Street. The chicken teriyaki is decent, but here is where it fails compared to Mayflower. I will still get the chicken teriyaki here occasionally but there's just something about it that throws me off some times. I kinda think there should be more vegetables in the mix or maybe it needs to be less greasy....not sure, but you should at least try it out. But what I do like about it is the noodle option. Finally, the bubble tea is bumpin. I like the coconut. I get it every time. Also, the passion fruit green tea is solid. Other than that, the people are very friendly, they seem to work hard, and the owner seems like a nice guy. I rode past one time on my long board and he gave me a head flick. I felt obligated to buy a sushi roll, which I did and it was glorious. I hope this place lasts!

This is the best Japanese place on campus. I have going here since it opened. The owner is a young guy from Flushing, Queens. I was really glad to hear there was a New Yorker running an Asian restaurant in Newark; I'm a New Yorker myself and have a bias when comes to NYC and food. Him and the staff are all very friendly and accommodating. The ambiance is simple, but modern and clean. They cook all the teriyaki dishes on a flat stove, such as what you see at japanese places in malls. They cook everything fresh. My favorite teriyaki is the chicken teriyaki. The lo mein option is pretty solid. The sushi is competitvely priced and good. They make the best spicy tuna roll! I get this roll so much every time I walk it the owner knows I want a spicy tuna roll. They also have appetizers. I've had the chicken wings; they taste like what you'd find in NYC at take out places, which is a good thing to me. The shrimp tempura is good, and the tempura sauce that comes with it tastes really good. I think they add little kick to the sauce. The smoothies are good as well. If you want good quality Japanese food that's reasonably priced, give this place a try.

I ordered some sushi sashimi and teriyaki, their sushi is okay, but the teriyaki and fried rice are terrible. This place seems more like a take out place.

First time visit, and I ordered standard chicken teriyaki w extra chicken and extra sauce. Opened the container my first thought was the smell doesn't smell like normal teriyaki. I think The chicken tasted very bland and not as tasteful as "Sarku" or "Suki Hana". I'll prob come back to try their sushi because they're so close by, but no mo teriyaki chicks for me.

Always been happy with the teriyaki. The place is clean and they handle custom orders well. I try to stop by once a month.
