Excellent food. Everything I get there has been delicious and well cooked. They know what they're doing here at Gyro King.

Pretty impressed with the food. The inside is not glamorous but food is cheap. I really liked the gyro. Salad came with a weird watered down yogurt sauce which wasn't good. The falafel, hummus, baba ganoush and pita were all great. Great value

I ordered the lamb gyro. While the meat was tasty and flavorful, it was very skimpy on the veg. I was also surprised by the addition of pickles to the mix. It was mostly lamb and pickle and left me missing the tomato, onion and lettuce. Maybe I came on an off day? (Saturday) Because some of the other reviews were happy with their topping ratio. The stuffed grape leaves were delicious. But I was a bit weirded out that the tzatziki sauce was a slight pink hue, even though it tasted normal. The wait also seemed rather long, close to 20 minutes for 4 gyros and grape leaves. While I understand that's a decent amount of food, there was no one in the restaurant when we ordered. If I had stopped here on a lunch break during the week, I'd have burned most of my break time just waiting for my food. I'd definitely come here again for a gyro craving, but I've had better.

Just ordered gyros, baba ghanoush, sambosa fingers & while the staff was very friendly, the food was terrible. Baba ghanoush tasted like it was made in an ash tray. Gyros were ok, but nothing was memorable. I won't go back.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Shared the lamb gyro lunch combo with the hubby. Lamb was flavorful and so tender. Gyro was dressed perfectly with the right amount of toppings. Fries could have used a little more salt but they were pretty good. Good deal for $6.95. Will be back when in the area!

I gave this place a 2nd chance today. I ordered their chicken gyro. It was just blah, the meat didn't have any flavor and their tzatziki sauce is just mayo. I recommend the Gyro Kabab House if you want a great gyro.

This place is a real gem. Had the lamb Gyro Platter. The portion was a very good size, and included their homemade hot pepper spread, garlic sauce, tzatziki, pita, salad, and fries. I think my only mistake was in ordering the fries - they were the only thing on the menu that was not clearly made in house - well cooked, but disappointing only in comparison to everything else which was delicious. The meat was perfectly seasoned, the pita was clearly fresh, and the sauces were completely delicious. I believe their claim about the meat being coal fired and cooked to order - the timing was about right for that, and the food was piping hot when it was brought out. Prices were very reasonable as well. Don't be dissuaded by the strip mall - as so often happens in this area the gems are where you don't expect them.

It was a nice stop for a lamb gyro. The lamb was sliced thin and well cooked, not overly dry but not too succulent either. While good it was about average for lamb gyro. The rice was soft and cooked okay but did not stand out much. Salad was standard mixed greens with an average sauce. The staff member taking orders seemed a bit confused between the combo vs the platter vs other items on the menu. I am not sure what I actually got off the menu other then it being a lamb gyro with some rice and a salad. I would return for a gyro again, but would probably avoid some of the fancier combinations on the menu for fear of confusion. Also it is close to work. But overall the only words that come to mind are "average" and "okay".

I have been here a few times and tried something different each time. The lamb schwarma is delicious with perfect seasonings, the gyros are constructed very well on what tastes like homemade pita bread... The falafel sandwich I had last night was amazing, the falafel isn't too salty or overly seasoned, and it isn't dry. If you want to try authentic Greek food, take it from my family of Lebanese descent - this is a great place for a great price. The family that runs the place is very friendly, and is helpful if you don't understand things on the menu!

The first time I came here was when they first opened and I thought it was just okay. Better than Season's who uses frozen strips and brown lettuce and better than kabob house who almost overdosed me on white pepper but I always compare to my favorite gyro cart in NYC which has a line around the block. I returned a year later and was pleasantly surprised. Any place with spinning meat is a plus! Spinning meat actually excites me as most of my friends are aware. I just ate another gyro which was fantastic! Still not my NYC gyro but close! My pug gives the fries 4 stars. Fries are like pug crack but his eyes didn't almost pop out of his head like Mc Donalds but still a 4! Gyro King is by far the best gyro in DE that I have run into!

This a true diamond in the ruff. A client recommended this place to meet and I have to admit it was surprisingly very good. I had lamb and chicken over rice. The only negative is the parking and it's right on the road but the food is excellent

Just a heads up. We absolutely love this place! They have such great food and are so nice. If you are in the area you should really try them. They are Mediterranean food, gyros, hummus, falafel, baba ghanouj, yum! If you have never had this kind of food before this is the best place to try it for your first time. They will not disappoint! Oh, did I mention they are affordable? Just saying!

Great gyro meat! Authentic spits and all. Garlic sauce was really good. Hummus and pita were some of the best we've had.
