Make sure to get a reservation. My friend and I had to sit in the bar area. However the service was still excellent. Our waitress was very attentive. Since it was our 1st time there, she took the time to explain different items on the menu. I had the shrimp quesadillas as my appetizer. They were awesome. The shrimp was cooked to perfection. They packed a little heat, but not overwhelming. For my entree, I had the pork bellies. They were also cooked to perfection. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish my dinner so there was no room for dessert. I will be returning and I will make sure to make a reservation, especially on a Friday or Saturday night.

I really desperately wanted to like this place, and I am so close to going with 2 stars but the servers were so nice and hospitable they basically made a 2 star review impossible. I came here for dinner with my boyfriend the other day, because we were excited to try this new Main Street restaurant. We had heard so many good things, I was not prepared for our dining experience to be only so-so. The restaurant was full, with only a table or two open. We had made a reservation, expecting to be seated before the couple without a reservation. However, they did not have a hostess on staff (which I understand), but none of the servers knew how to host. I think if you're not going to have a hostess during the dinner crowd, atleast teach your servers how to use the system and host. The first server did not know how to check in a reservation so we had to wait for another server to come from the back to check us in. Then we were seated after the non-reservation couple, but right next to the door (on a December night? no thanks). So we kindly asked if we could sit at the bar until another table was ready. AWESOME bartender, he really gave us the inside scoop on his favorite dishes, and he gave us the happy hour menu the server did not. The house wine was pretty good, and the happy hour special on it can't be beat- $3.50 a glass! When we went to see if our table was ready, another server was about to seat a new couple at the table. Our server cleared it up but I felt so badly watching them sit down and get back up, because the servers did not communicate with each other- but we had been waiting upwards of 15 minutes. The guacamole- while delicious- was a bit brown making me think it's made in large quantities. The chips are good, they have a variety of different homemade chips they bring. I ordered the salmon and Nick ordered the scallops. The scallops had the same smoky taste as the salmon and the chips, so that was a bit too much smokey flavor for one meal for me. The salmon was very good, but the sad butter lettuce side salad was disappointing. Maybe two leaves of lettuce and not even exaggerating. All in all I liked the interior and the servers we had (especially the one who cleared up the table mistake!) but I wish the food brought more to the table.

Why are you guys closed at 10 P.M.? This is not ok. You are the only place on Main Street with good drinks. S.O.S.

With offerings such as lump crab cakes with pickled jicama, dried mangos, cranberries and apple-lime vinaigrette and North Atlantic Salmon with an habanero-mango bbq, my wife and I thought this Main Street Newark establishment was about more than hangin' with the peeps. What started well, with a better than average Corn and Crab Bisque and a particularly nice Guacamole with Yuca Chips, quickly (the entrees arrived while we were still trying to enjoy our first cocktail and appetizers) turned to grave disappointment. The crab cake, (remember it was billed as lump?) was stringy and damp, along the lines of a worn out mop left in a dirty bucket. My wife's salmon too lacked any of the advertised flavor and was served far too rare for salmon. The recurring theme was lack of freshness. The mango in the mimosa was bitter; the crab cake was stale; and the wimpy yuca fries seemed reheated from yesterday's excess. All in all, not a good stop; one that my wife and I will leave to the less discerning and the drinking crowd.

We decided to have an early dinner here since it's one of the newest restaurants on Main Street. The outdoor seating was full, so we opted for indoors. The interior, while small, was very welcoming and the turquoise painted chairs with the white daisies on the tables were cute. My friend ordered the shrimp empanadas ($13), and I ordered the tuna taquitos ($10, both appetizers.) Our waitress asked us if that was all we were ordering, and we almost felt like we were being told that wasn't enough. While enjoying our drinks, we were brought some half-popped corn that was a little dry and not very appetizing in my opinion. The shrimp empanadas came with four and a mango butter on the side. The empanadas were okay, but we felt like they didn't really have any shrimp in them; instead they had some type of potato-ey tasting feeling. My tuna taquitos were totally disappointing. There were only three tiny ones and the tuna was almost boiled. The best thing on the dish was the fruit salad salsa that came with the empanadas. After reading other reviews, I would be interested in going back and springing for the entrée instead of spending that much money on a barely-there appetizer. Liked the concept, but the execution was a little shoddy.

I died and went on to sea Mexico heaven. Love this place and the waitstaff is super hip.

This place has very good street review and I love the color of the seats! Also the seafood paellet was really good. Taco is also very good. Their meat is tasteful! Don't miss it!

My husband and I stopped in for lunch on a sweltering Sunday and ordered the nachos, the mushroom tacos, and the salmon tacos. The restaurant looks wonderful, all blue-lit handmade sconces and wood floors, and the food arrives beautifully plated as well. Unfortunately, while everything was well prepared, it lacked acid, and the flavors blended into one another without the kick of cilantro, lime, or chili I've come to expect from Mexican cuisine. I would have liked some salsa or hot sauce to add to my taste. We got a little thirsty waiting for more iced tea, but that could have been because it was hot and we're thirstier than average anyway. I would recommend this restaurant to someone who likes his food milder than I do, but we probably won't stop in again for a while.

Had lunch here today. Was teetering between 3 and 4 stars, but fell to the up side for the nice ambiance on the outdoor patio on this Indian Summer day. I had the calamari tacos, which were tasty (and a bit spicy) but not out of this world amazing! Turns out this is a spin off of the Santa Fe Mexican Grill located down the street, with a nod to organic, fresh ingredient fare. Not sure the fried calamari in my tacos was either local or fresh, but it was tasty. In the end, it's great to have another option on Main Street, Newark. It may not quite measure up to fresh seafood on the Adriatic, but it's a lot easier to get to! Give it a shot! Order a salad and support a local farm! :)

Amazing!!! Would give five stars but they were out of a few things on the menu. It's right in the heart of University of Delaware and had just had Accepted Students Day and had been very busy earlier in the day. The food and service were amazing. Margaritas among the best we've had. Food was phenomenal. Had a crab and corn bisque that was out of this world. Pickled red cabbage on the appetizer dish and in tacos was a delicious touch. Hoping my son chooses UDelaware so we have an excuse to come back.

Finally tried this place out tonight. Got to sit on deck, which was nice, except tonight there just happened to be extra a-holes on Main St. getting their rocks off revving up their crotch rockets. Service was good and very friendly. I was impressed by their menu and the prices seemed ok, maybe a little high for what they are. They did not have kids menu but we were told we could order smaller portions from the menu. I got the Los Cabos fajitas, which are a mixture of shrimp, mussels, and mahi mahi and standard onions and peppers. They were pretty good and came in a fairly spicy red sauce. Maybe I'm just used to standard fajitas and didn't properly mix the seafood but they weren't anything special. Mahi was cooked well but the shrimp were small and there were only 3 or 4. I expected a little more quality for $19. My wife got the tostada with chicken-basically a mexican pizza with vegetables. Pretty good. Our biggest complaint of the night was when we got the bill. The two kids' meals were $7 each (not abnormal). But the apple juices...wait for it....were $3.50 each. Yup, $7 for two kids' drinks bringing the total to $21 for a 5 and 8 year old. Absolutely ridiculous. Also, the meals were supposed to come with fries per the server but they brought tortilla chips. Not a huge deal. Our beers were in line with other places and they did have a pretty good selection. I guess our biggest complaint is that It would have been nice for them to list the kids' meals and prices instead of putting parents in the position of having to ask. Maybe they think they're in a college town but they need to be aware that there are plenty of UD grads that are still in the area and frequent Main St. with their kids. It was our fault for not asking ahead of time about the prices and what was included. The server was friendly and brought refills which were not charged. I'm not sure if she was supposed to or not. We don't mind spending money but when there's a hint of "Gotcha!" when restaurants don't have a complete menu, detailed with prices, we generally don't go back. Yes, we could come back without the kids but when that time comes, we'll probably pick a better more established spot where we know what to expect.

Ordered Del Pez off HungryHens and immediately got a notification that the meal was on its way and a way to track the entire process. Came pretty quickly considering I was across the border in Maryland. Happy hour special for the Tostada Grande was amazing. Just looking for something to fill the delivery minimum and it was only $4. It was much more food than the Crab Quesadilla entree I ordered. Both were fantastic. Definitely will be ordering again and trying more of their food.

Got the crab quesadilla for brunch, amazing. Also tried the pineapple soda, also great. Staff is very attentive and friendly, area is clean, music really sets the mood and fits the decorations and ambiance.

This restaurant could be situated in Paris, Brussels, Sydney, san francisco or Montreal. Because the food, and presentation; including their selection of accompanying wines and good ports represents first class. Way beyond the class of Newark & DELAWARE. We were blown away with the taste and freshness. We will revisit Recommend the salmon or the scallops and as for the desserts.... Yummmmm

Caught lunch here the other day with a good friend. We were in somewhat of a rush, notified our waiter, and he made our experience seamlessly efficient, yet still captivating. They start your meal off by explaining the restaurant concept and the importance of sourcing local products. From there, you receive the most perfect spiced corn pop snack. (My friend even almost took the rest home in her napkin). We split the Scallop & Squid Ceviche, as well as the Fried Calamari Tacos. Both were amazingly fresh and delicious. I would definitely recommend trying this restaurant, especially on a sunny day when you can sit outside and people watch down Main Street. The prices are also extremely reasonable for the quality of the food presented. I look forward to returning soon! And thanks again Brian for your great service. (Make sure to fill out the comment card and get it signed! You receive a discount on your bill for next time!)

Our experience at the Del Pez was delightful. It was a busy Saturday night and the restaurant was full but the staff was fantastic, our food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. From the succulent calamari appetizer to the rich Tres Leche dessert, the meal was outstanding. Louis, our waiter, gave us insight into the menu without being overbearIng. The restaurant uses local produce and some of the freshest seafood I've ever had in Newark. Everything was thoughtfully planned and beautifully prepared. It is nice to have true originality in a menu. I look forward to returning to Del Pez!

I went here for dinner with friends but never actually got to eat. My dinner didn't come out until everyone was halfway through their meals. When I finally got it, my food was stone cold; it had obviously been ready for a long time and it wasn't brought out for some unknown reason. I asked the waitress to bring me whatever is fastest to make - soup, chili, tacos, whatever. She promised that my original meal could be made in 5 minutes; she even double checked with the kitchen. Twenty minutes later, my food still hadn't arrived and everyone else was finished and their plates had been cleared. I canceled the order because I didn't want to hold everyone up or awkwardly eat by myself while people watched me finish my meal. Don't come here if you want to be able to eat your meal at more or less the same time as your fellow diners!

Seriously! Get here NOW!!! This place gets better each time I come. Tonight it was the bacon-wrapped dates stuffed with Stilton blue cheese and Valencia agave on the side that blew us away!! The calamari tacos are also out of this world. For my entree the scallops were perfectly cooked and slightly spicy while my husband's crab cakes were everything you'd want in a crab cake. And the cocktails and dessert put it over the top! Best food on Downtown Main Street!!!

Several of us had dinner at Del Pez two days ago. The concept is great but in fact it is merely fair, not good enough for a second visit. The problem is in part that the seafood did not seem really fresh. That is not to say that it was spoiled, but it was not perfectly fresh either. I had a seafood soup featuring mussels. When mussels are really fresh they have a sweet/salty flavor that is really unique. These lacked that completely. Additionally, while the cook was OK, he did not know how to transform the ingredients into something special. One thing that was delicious was the camlla (the Andean take on popcorn). In short, it would be great to have an up-scale Latin American seafood restaurant in Newark, but this isn't it.

Tasty grub here! We had the jicama seafood taquitos, strip steak and crab cakes. Everything was delicious! The outside patio is adorable, I highly rec. sitting outside if you can, esp. on a nice summer night when the drunk udel campus crowd is nonexistent. The inside decor was a bit too turquoise for my liking. My drink was a bit weak, but food is solid here!

Had lunch at this new spot in Newark today. We were seated outside on turquoise painted chairs. My son and I shared 4 appetizers. Crab quesadilla with a delicious spicy remoulade. Crunchy shrimp empanadas with a mango salsa. Watermelon shrimp ceviche and last a shrimp tacos. Everything was freshly made with good local ingredients and pretty and inviting presentation. This " fish restaurant" with a Mexican twist is a true asset to Newark's food scene. Service was efficient and very friendly. I have nothing but good to say about this new establishment. Highly recommended.

Amazing!!! Just the right amount of heat, scallops cooked perfect, a little sweet with the raisin reduction and salty with the bacon. A great end for the day.

Went with my family this past Thursday and the service was terrible. The place was busy but not crazy, we waited 15 minutes and no server came to our table. Finally the hostess came and took our drink orders. 5 minutes later a waiter came up and took our orders once again. After waiting another 10 minutes, no drinks and I could see the waiter in the back doing not much of anything. We ended up leaving and having a fine meal a couple doors down. I won't be back.

Won't go back to this place! I have read the reviews that this restaurant could be situated in any major city and I would disagree. The ambiance of the restaurant is simply average to below. What gives this restaurant a good vibe is the outdoor seating. My reservations were for 8 at an indoor table which was stuck in the corner with another two seat table right off the doorway and behind the entrance and hostess station. We switched off to eat outside. We were offered a picnic table to eat from. Imagine that. We arrived at 5:30 pm to ideally eat within an hour and 15 minutes to catch a play at the University of Delaware. At 6:48 four people at our table had not been served and two individuals were that ordered the mother's day special. Hmm. Bad waitress? Bad management from the kitchen? Bad waitress plus bad management from the kitchen equals cold food which made the food below average from the average presentation and food that was being served. Being Latino I can tell you that the scallops had a too sweet sauce that I think was supposed to be some type of mole. My red rice was average. My beef was tender. Some of the steak was cooked medium some not. Sangria was watered down with very little wine (if that was what was used). Overall you spend a lot for overpriced dishes of average quality. Oh and when I advised management of the lack of timely service he promised to have the meals out in two minutes which took longer than that. We also did not see him again. He offered no apology to the whole table. Won't go back to Del Pez.

Had the blackened swordfish pasta for the first time. Loved it! A little heavy on the capers but it was really good. $11 for a bottle of wine during happy hour. Wife had the enchiladas, very 'tasty'. Free corn snack was delicious. Chef introduced himself which was nice. Make this a stop if you are on Main Street.

The food was good, and the server was kind, but the service in general was below par. They have the bartender double as a server, so when he is making drinks for other tables, his tables will suffer. The drinks, also, left a lot to be desired.

Excellent food and drinks. Hummm, except for the taco appetizers. They are wrapped in Red cabbage instead of shells. But the entrees were great. And wonderful service.

Yum! A perfect spot for a filling but light lunch. The crab quesadilla was super tasty and the side salad with marinated onions was delicious. The calamari tacos are yummy too. Service is always friendly and efficient. Not a fan of the corn kernels they always bring out.

We had a sumptuous meal at this relatively new restaurant. The menu is simply outstanding, as is the service. The price was also very reasonable for the quality of food. Easily the best restaurant in the area.

Four of us had dinner here tonight after hearing it was good. It exceeded our expectations. Two of us had tacos, one had a crab cake, and one had an entree that had a little bit of everything. We all loved what we got. We sat on the patio, and we were so impressed that we were telling people who were passing by and looking at the menu how delicious I everything was. The dishes were presented beautifully, and the service was excellent. We will return often, I am sure. I am so excited to have another great eatery in a Newark!

Nice place, great food and friendly staff. We shared the pork belly tostada which has a great mix of flavors, and the ghost pineapple tacos which has quite a kick. I would recommend getting a margarita to cool your taste buds. We enjoyed our lunch and would be regulars if we lived closer.

I went here tonight (8/30/14) based on a family recommendation & I"m so glad I did! From start to finish this place was excellent! The hostess (who's name I missed) was very friendly! I chose to wait at the bar for an outside table & I'm so glad I did!! I met Patrick the Bar tender who made me an excellent Classic Margarita! I am very picky about my margarita's so when I say it's great.....it's GREAT!! The Bartender was polite & admitted that it wasn't his recipe. The Manager Zach happened to over hear me bragging about how good the margarita was & the he came over to talk to us! He was so nice! He might give you some tips on how to make a great margarita if you are nice!!! Then we had the shrimp tacos! They were fantastic! For dinner we had the scallops! OMG!!! they were amazing!! I didn't get to meet the Chef, but I heard his name was Chef Michael! Cudos to Chef Michael, because the food was excellent!!! Last but not least our adorable & friendly waiter Alex, provided excellent service! Couldn't have asked for a better all around experience! I will definitely go back to Del Pez! If I had to say one thing that could be improved, I would say get some bar stools! So that when the word spreads & the wait for a table get's very long you'll need the stools for people to drink at the bar & get to know Patrick & Zach a little better! Thank's guys for a great night in down town Newark, DE!!!!

Husband and I had our first dinner at Del Pez tonight. Great dining experience. Perfect summer night for the outdoor seating. Our server, Kaitlyn, was friendly and attentive. We split an order of the shellfish & watermelon mixto ceviche. It was shrimp, scallops and a little bit of lobster with watermelon and citrus. It was quite refreshing. I had the vaca frita cooked medium rare. The skirt steak was flavorful and the freshly made guacamole type salad was delicious as was the fried plantain. My husband had the Earth, Sea and Sky which was spicy chorizo sausage, crab meat, and chicken breast cooked in a "roll" with a guajillo sauce. He said that the parnsip-yucca cake was delicious. A couple of other staff stopped by the table to check on us which I thought was nice. The only negative I can offer is that the drink prices are a little on the high side when compared to other Main Street restaurants and while my margarita was very good, it was a bit on the small side. Filling out a comment card gets you a $5 off coupon for a future visit which I am sure we will use.

We came here today for brunch and I am so glad we did. I got the El Americano and it was amazing. So many flavors and everything was cooked so well. The atmosphere outside is so beautiful. The owner came by twice just to say hi and introduce himself as well as give us a delicious appetizer and welcome us since it was our first time dining there. I only give 4 stars because it took a really long time for our food to come out, but it was worth the wait. We will definitely be back!

Most people wouldn't expect a high quality Mexican seafood restaurant in a college town, but my experience at Del Pez was nothing short of phenomenal. After my UDMB Orientation, my parents decided to stop here for dinner. Before we even entered the restaurant, we met the chef. He was super friendly and very welcoming. Our waiter, a student at UDel, was very friendly and had a great personality. The atmosphere was very modern with an open kitchen. It had a very cool, comfortable vibe. Being underage, I was very happy to see some nonalcoholic "cocktails". I had mango green tea. The drink was very refreshing. It wasn't too sweet and I could tell it was made with fresh mango. We started off the meal with chimichurri mussels with chorizo and guacamole con chicharrones. The mussels were yummy with some of the best chorizo I've ever had. The guacamole was very tasty. It was served with chicharrones, yuca chips and tortilla chips for dipping. The chicharrones were very light and crispy. I wasn't even interested in the other dippers because the chicharrones were so good. For dinner I had seared scallops. They were served with Brussels sprouts, bacon, and a chipotle-coca-cola-raisin sauce. They were topped with fried yuca straws. The scallops were cooked perfectly and there was lots of bacon. The Brussels sprouts were a little undercooked for my liking, but it didn't take away from my enjoyment of the meal. For dessert, my dad I couldn't decide if we each wanted the flan or the tres leches cake, so we decided to order both and share them. The flan was very tasty. The tres leches cake wasn't too sweet and it wasn't very moist. Also, the cake was served with a berry sorbet that perfectly complimented it. It had a great, fresh berry flavor. The chef mentored that they will be debuting a new menu next month, and I can't wait to go back to sample his new offerings.

I had been wanting to try this place for some time, and I finally tried it. I was very disappointed, and my disappointment was magnified by the high prices. This place isn't super expensive, but it's a notch up in price from most of the other food on main street. I also feel like the quality is a notch down. It also loses with respect to the choice of fish, with respect to health and sustainability. I ordered the pork belly tacos. I love pork belly. The way it was cooked, part of it was beyond crispy, it was hard and unpleasantly chewy. I've eaten a lot of pork belly in different types of cuisine--across the street CYN cooks it so it's perfectly tender and soft. I've also had it in Puerto Rican food, cooked with a crispier texture, but not tough. The texture of the pork belly was pretty bad, especially in a restaurant in this price range. I didn't eat all of it, some pieces were just too chewy and hard. I also ordered the gazpacho verde, and I don't know what was up with it. I actually sent it back, and to this place's credit, they took it off the bill. But I thought it was inedible. I love gaspacho, whether the verde variant (made with tomatillos and nuts) or the traditional red variant. But I like it because it's light and fresh. This one tasted heavy, and something in it didn't agree with me, producing an unpleasant tingling sensation on my palate. Keep in mind, I'm someone who likes spicy food, I love things like cloves or szechuan peppercorns, that produce a tingling sensation. But the sensation on my palate when eating this, I found unpleasant. I then started to feel sick to my stomach after having a few spoons of it, and I couldn't eat any more. I also ordered mofongo. It's not on the menu--it's a little secret. It was definitely the highlight of the meal, the only thing that I would want to order again if I were to hypothetically come back here. I also tried several other people's food. It didn't wow me. Again, it all seemed moderately overpriced and not as good as most of the other food on main street. One last thing I want to complain about was the choice of seafood. The menu was kind of small and I didn't feel like I was able to choose the sort of options I wanted. For a place that markets itself as specializing in seafood, there really weren't that many options to choose from. I also use Seafood Watch and EDF's Seafood Selector to guide what types of seafood I eat, both to make sustainable choices, and avoid contaminants like mercury and PCB's. The "catch of the day" was Ono or Wahoo, which is a pacific fish. I don't eat this fish because I eat a lot of fish, and according to EDF, it's relatively high in mercury. Mahimahi was another fish that figured prominently on the menu--and again this fish isn't lowest in mercury, and they didn't identify the catch method (some imported mahimahi, according to EDF, is produced in a very unsustainable way). The only fish that really stood out to me as a good sustainable option on the menu was squid (calamari) but they only had a few things with it in it. If a place is going to specialize in seafood (and have high prices the way this restaurant does), I'm going to hold them to high standards and demand they focus on fish that is agreed upon by these organizations to be eco-best choices for sustainability, as well as being low in contaminants. It's not my job to do this job, it's the restaurant's job, and if I'm paying top dollar to eat in a place like this, they better do their job. They don't, so they fail in my book. The one thing that was really good here was the service. Our server was really attentive and friendly and very knowledgeable about all the stuff. I don't really want to come back here. If they lowered the prices by about 40%, then I think I might come back, or if they made the food better, or if they thoroughly addressed the sustainability and health issues in choice of seafood. It's like, it's 2015, Seafood Watch and EDF's Seafood Selector have been out for years now, there's no excuse for a restaurant that specializes in seafood and has above-average prices, to not have all eco-best choices that are low in contaminants.

BF and I stumbled on this place on a walk down Main St, and we were drawn in by the adorable patio (with cute teal chairs or picnic tables for large groups!) and the promise of two of our favorite cuisines. Mexican? Seafood? Sign me up. However, despite a great ambiance and food that looks tasty on the plate, I was sorely disappointed by our actual meal. Glancing through the other reviews, I'm not sure if we ordered the wrong foods, but I wasn't impressed with any of our choices. To drink, I ordered the white sangria, but was disappointed to be basically handed a glass of white wine with two pieces of seared pineapple floating in it. No sign of the promised kiwi or mango flavors. For an appetizer, we were intrigued by the avocado and pineapple fries. The avocado was way too salty, though the fried pineapple was still tasty. The basil aioli dipping sauce was the highlight of this dish. For our meals, I ordered the Mahi-Mahi tacos and BF had the pork belly tacos. The mahi-mahi was overcooked and dry, and the tacos were jammed with green peppers, mangos, avocados, and lettuce, which were fresh but lacked the flavor and kick you would expect from a fish taco. Overall, these were just way too bland. As for the pork belly, perhaps it was BF's mistake to order pork at a seafood restaurant, but the pork belly was overcooked to the point of being crunchy and difficult to chew, and there was a decent amount of rice on each taco, which I thought was kind of strange. All in all, I really wanted to like this place, and was very disappointed that I did not. We won't likely be back anytime soon.

I came here on a whim with my family a couple of afternoons ago. Firstly, let me just say that the food here is terrific. I ordered Mahi Mahi tacos with Brazilian styled ceviche. The fish was well cooked and the ingredients were fresh, which made my stomach very happy. The ceviche was very good, but a little overpriced. The portions are small with the ceviche and they cost about $10 each. Secondly, I can't emphasize this enough--the AMAZING service! Our waitress was friendly and very informative. Additionally, the manager overheard that we were from out of town and that it was our first time visiting. So, he gave us each a complementary appetizer (their famous Gazpacho). Delicious. Overall, I had a great experience here and would 100% recommend it to anyone who is in the area and is hungry for some tacos!

Nice place, great food and friendly staff. We shared the pork belly tostada which has a great mix of flavors, and the ghost pineapple tacos which has quite a kick. I would recommend getting a margarita to cool your taste buds. We enjoyed our lunch and would be regulars if we lived closer.

Yummmmm

Really interesting new foods, cool atmosphere and great service! Calamari Wrap and North Atlantic Salmon are delicious!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
