Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

i had an overnight stay in Milford and decided to eat at Milford Pizza based on the good reviews and wanting a casual place to eat. The smallish dining area has booths on the side walls and tables in the center, and looked like a lot of pizza places, except that the decor was nicely done. the kitchen is visible in the back, but not obtrusively so. My first impression was that the lone server needed some help because she was very busy and the empty tables needed picking up, but it wasn't a big deal to me. She was quick to bring a menu and a drink, and was very friendly. I ordered the chicken piccata and would have loved a glass of wine to go with it, but alas, no alcohol. The meal came with a fresh small salad with real blue cheese dressing and a basket of bruschetta. I pretty much ate all the tomato-basil topping with a fork, it was so good. The piccata came out nice and hot, with plenty of capers (I adore capers). I could not believe how freaking awesome the chicken breast was. It was tender, buttery, and had a nice subtle flavor. it was perfect with the capers and the angel hair pasta in a wine-butter sauce. I wish I could've eaten it all or taken home the leftovers, but I was staying in a hotel. I made a point to tell the owner/chef how much I enjoyed the meal. She said she trained chefs, and I think the meal showed it. If I ever get a chance to eat in Milford again, I will definitely be eating at Milford Pizza. I encourage the folks that live nearby to try it out!

We went to the restaurant this time based on what we saw on the take home menu. They begin your meals with homemade bruschetta, which is excellent. Then included in a pasta meal is a very, very fresh house salad. I ordered the chicken piccata which was probably the one of the best I've ever had. My dining companion had chicken franchesse which was also extremely tasty.. The prices seem ridiculously low compared to many other restaurants. Although the restaurant is in a strip mall, the new owners have made the interior look very pleasing, new paint and quaint decorations. The waitress who served us worked for the old owners so she was joking around with all the regulars. It felt good to be able to get excellent food at this price in a very relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend- if you're looking for great food and wonderful service without attitude.

Excellent pizza & service. The crust was perfect & the bruschetta was outstanding. The place was packed, but it didn't show in the service or quality.

There's something about the flavorful combination of cheeses on their pizza that no one has or will ever able to duplicate. The topping ingredients are hearty and fresh and the crust unforgettable. Everyone in the restaurant was enjoying feasts at their tables, stuffed peppers, flounder, stuffed shells...all lovingly prepared. This place is a gem. Locals love it and if your're lucky enough to be passing through Milford on your way to destinations elsewhere, stopping in here for a meal may be one of the most memorable events of your trip.

This place is one of Milford's secrets. Very affordable with a friendly staff and fast service. I am a fan of their chicken salad salad (yes, that's twice), any of their pizza, soups, chicken parmigiana, eggplant parmigiana and homemade rice pudding.

Had a pizza and it was good. Had a couple of subs and I must say they are stuffed. The prices are good, but the portions are huge. You will definitely get your money's worth here.

Oh, the nostalgia! I grew up in Milford but haven't lived there for some time now. When I'm in the area for some reason or another, this is one of the places I love to revisit. Nestled in a little strip mall near the super-duper Walmart, this family owned and operated business couldn't be more welcoming. They offer a wide selection of Greek and Italian food. My favorite thing to order is a small (huge) cheesesteak sub with mozerella fries to share. I dream about those cheese fries although they are simply a wide fry topped with melted shredded mozerella, nothing fancy. I've had a lot of cheesesteaks around town but this is by far my favorite. The steak is never dry, the cheese is plentiful, and the crispy italian bread hits the spot. They usually have one waitress on staff for the lunch hour, and two for dinner so if the place happens to get packed, service can suffer. I've never experienced anything unbearable and I know it helps them stay afloat up against the big guys, like Grottos. If you can appreciate the non-chain small town joints, this is the place to try!

I heard they had really good Greek food here, so we thought we'd try it. We ended up getting open face turkey sandwiches for lunch, because the Greek food was dinner sized and thought it would be too much. Our lunch was fantastic. I'd love to come back to try their Greek dinners. I would definitely go back!

We are a family of five traveling through the area on our way from the Outer Banks and were looking to eat somewhere that was not fast food but not extravagant either. Milford's Pizza was perfect. A very friendly atmosphere that seemed to be a popular spot for locals. All of the food we saw looked great and the food we ordered was great. This is not just a pizza joint. The kids had pasta dishes from the kids menu that were big enough to feed an adult. We definitely will look to return on future travels!
