India is the birth place of Chicken Tikka Masala and Curries. Indian foods are prepared with a blend of finely mixed spices quite popular across the region. The spices develop the rich taste in Indian food enough to boggle your mind. The ever-increasing fan base of Indian food around the New York city is steadily increasing because of the large number of Indians who traveled to the land of dreams. The Indians also brought their very own vibrant, colorful, and aromatic authentic dishes for the people in the West. While most of the Indian population is Vegetarian, Indian food is great for people who are looking for vegan or vegetarian food option. If you are a Meat lover, don't get disappointed yet. Indian food also boasts of some popular non-vegetarian dishes too. Few examples are the famous Butter Chicken, Mutton Biryani and Tandoori Chicken are enough to satisfy your taste buds.

Second time we have been here and first for dinner. The food was excellent as was the service. We had the chilli paneer and tandoori chicken. Both were the best we've tasted!

Nan bread is a must. Dip that in the Raita. I got the vegetable korma and it was amazing. This place turned my mom into a believer of Indian food and that is not an easy feat. She tried the chicken gyro. We all tried each other's dish and all the food was so great. The experience was an absolute pleasure and we went on a Saturday. Without a doubt the friendliest, best service we have ever had in our lives. The atmosphere was super clean, spacious and inviting, with calming music. I cannot wait to go again.

Prices don't match the website. Dozens of tiny shattered bones in my order of Lamb Kadai. There is better Indian food in Dover.

Went in for the first time this evening and placed a takeout order in person, then waited for it. We asked the guy behind the counter for recommendations because my husband was having trouble deciding, and he ran through several recommendations for us. When we got home, one item was missing from the bag, so I called. He issued a refund to our card with an apology and an invite to take a discount on our next order if we came back. So it sucked to come up short, but it was handled smoothly and we'll go back.

Love this place. I have been traveling to Dover for work at the AFB over that past 9 months. I've eaten here at least a dozen times; with as many as 2 to 3 colleagues at times; we have never had a bad meal. My favorite is the Chicken Curry with plain Nan; excellent. Chilli chicken is good too. Colleagues have had the Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Korma and enjoyed it. That's just to name a few; like I said; never a bad meal; always excellent. They also have a Chinese influenced Indian menu; which I can't say I've tried. Only because I enjoy the Chicken Curry and Nan so much. There is a Relaxed and very pleasant atmosphere; head waiter/host is really nice and accommodating. He knows me and knows what I want when I sit down; most likely an order of the Chicken Curry (Medium) w/o Cilantro and an order of plain Nan. Yummy... Can't say anything bad; highly recommended!

Great Indian food in Dover, of all places. Intend to share with a friend though because you would not believe the amount of food they give you. Props to the Chicken Tikka Masala and Kheer. If you've never had Kheer, get it - I promise it's easily the best Indian dessert out there.

The main reason for 4 out of 5 stars is because I haven't found any Indian food that I didn't like, so I'm already biased. I decided to try this place because I was looking for something different than the normal fast food and was willing to pay more to get better food. Easy to find and was surprised to see how nice and spacious the inside of the restaurant looked compared to the outside. The menu is nicely put together and easy on the eyes. I ended up getting onion pakora, lamb vindaloo and nan. The rice that came with it was nice and the lamb vindaloo had some heat but not enough to make me sweat. I'm not familiar with the onion pakora but it looked like fried onion petals but they weren't crisp (getting takeout could be a reason why, encased in a styrofoam box for the 15 minute drive home) but it still was tasty. If you're looking for something different than your normal fast food, this place is worth a visit. For less than $10, you can get a good meal that's different than the usual places around here.

Great Indo Chinese food without overdoing it. We tried Ginger Fish, Chicken Manchurian and Shrimp kabob. Everything was great, Shrimp kabob was the highlight, tangy, juicy and flavorful. Ginger fish was amazing as well, if you like the taste of ginger, must try chicken or fish. I didn't try any traditional Indian dishes, so I cannot comment on that. Try Indo Chinese cuisine with an open mind and you might very well get addicted to it. It is way better than the Americanized version of Chinese food in my book, of course I'm biased :) The place looks great inside and was almost empty.

Gem in Dover. Yummy food. Cannot pass this restaurant without getting some food. Great service.

Finally! Good Indian food in Delaware! The rice is a little bit different (in a good way). Decor is modern and clean inside! I had the chicken tikka masala and it was great! Not spicy enough for me, but I am sure this is something I can specify next time. Will go back when I'm in the area!

Nice atmosphere, pleasant service. A few downsides: the restaurant's website states that the buffet is offered Mon-Sat. My wife and I went there today (Saturday) based on that information. We were disappointed to learn that the buffet is offered only during the week. So, we ordered off the menu...I'm happy to offer that the vegetable pakora, as an appetizer, was outstanding! For entrees, my wife ordered the gyro and I ordered the Palak Paneer. While each was tasty and prepared well, the gyro was abundant on tomato and onion, but low on lamb. The host asked inquired about how spicy I preferred my entree (mild, med or spicy); I ordered 'spicy' as I've had spicy Indian food often and prefer it that way. This dish was closer to a very mild! We intend to return on a weekday to try the buffet.

Excellent, authentic Indian food! Great service! Dover is fortunate to have this restaurant here, we were just in town one night. Try the Chicken Tikka Marsala, the Chicken Korma was good also. Medium spice was perfect, I don't like really spicy food. The Nan bread was perfect also.
(5)Murray S.
OMG...this hidden gem will not disappoint you..Second visit and I'm coming back again before i head back to California.
(5)Dara S.
Second time eating here and highly recommend! Had the chicken Korma first time--luscious! This time had the mysteriously named "chicken 65" -- delicious BBQ unlike any I have ever tasted--not sweet at all.
(5)Vernon M.
The food is pretty good, I really like the fries that come with the gyro. It's not busy and looks like a hole in the wall but the inside is nice. My food is always prepared quickly and I enjoy it...I'll return.

My 300th review goes to this great Chinese inspired Indian restaurant. At first glance, this place just feels like an outdated restaurant, serving kabobs and other snacks. But, the menu is really interesting, specializing is innovative Indian classics. We came in for lunch and we were the only ones in there. Service, there was one waiter who occasionally came over, friendly... The decor is nice, a more fancier vibe than what was expected. They had a specials menu which was inexpensive and came with a lot of food. First, we started off with two types of naan. One was fluffy and the other was more moist, yet both were very good. The chicken kabob roll was quite good, with chicken pieces wrapped in naan bread. The chicken tikka kabob was to die for, with amazing flavors in the chicken, served with basmati rice, Indian curry beans, and a side salad. The chicken Manchurria had great color and good taste.

Pretty good Indian restaurant and I am Indian and eat out a lot . I would give it 4 hours. Very clean place and the servers are friendly and fast . Food comes out fresh and hot . Plates are super clean . Try the mango lassi and the chicken kabob roll -- you will not be disappointed . Better than Flavor of India .
(5)Ashu S.
Amazing chicken manchurian and rolls. Good service and the owners were really nice. Best chicken Manchurian in Dover
(4)Gwynedd D.
It pains me to give a bad review, but when Kabab Korner started out, it literally was kebabs in a corner--located almost invisibly at the end of a small building next to a car repair joint, sharing a building with a specialized shoe store. The place served kebabs, Indian style, with a side of rice and very good red bean dal. Raita was available as an extra. Saturdays, you could get biryani. This tiny lunch spot was crowded with Indians, so that's your mark of (usually) quality in an Indian eatery. Then the shoe store moved out and the owners (ethnic Chinese from Northern India, a father who cooks and the manager son) took over the building, smart, added a buffet, smarter, but the food is well, it's not tasty. Things are strangely sweet, the spice is missing and though the restaurant looks really nice and the owners are delightful people, the food is just terrible. Honestly, I can cook curries far better. FAR better. I hope they will look into either finding a co-chef for Dad, someone who has some good recipes for dal, aloo gobi mutter and such, or else go back to the grilled kebabs and things that made them popular in the first place. This is a case of biting off more than you (or I) can chew.
(2)Mil P.
This place is DELISH!! I came here to get two lunch buffet take-outs. One was veggie and one was non-veggie. The options were great and the food was awesome. They are very affordably priced and the side order of naan was fresh and well cooked. Also, the workers there are extremely nice and friendly. Best Indian food in DE, hands down!
(5)Aditya D.
Excellent fast food Indian style, good quality, reasonable prices

It's been open for a year, but just discovered. Good pick for lunch or dinner while in Dover. At $8, you'll get two stick kabob, red beans, rice, and a salad. The meat is well done and the rice is indian basmati with carrots and peas.
(3)Leonila L.
Nice ambiance (because it's new) but food sucks!!! Not much of a choice on the buffet. Muriel was a great server when I went there last July. Other than that, nothing else was remarkable in Kabab Korner restaurant. Quite disappointing! There are other Indian restaurants around that have more tasty food and Asian Buffets that are a tad cheaper.
(1)Cindy R.
Love their Chicken 65 and my family loves their tandoori chicken and beef kabob rolls and fries. I am also a big fan of their Paratha. Best and only Indo-Chinese place in the area that I am aware of. I would stick to the Indo-Chinese specials and Kabobs, as I have found their more traditional indian curries to be inconsistent and light on the meat. The owners and servers are super friendly. I have utilized their free home delivery many times and have always been impressed with their courteous and prompt delivery.
(4)Holly W.
Great food, friendly staff. They do deliver and the prices are very reasonable. You can get a full meal for $8.
(4)French C.
Recently open, Kabab Korner offers a good variety of Indian style dishes at a good price. Not the most spicy or traditional Indian food in town, but the flavor stands above most of them. Menu items are priced between $8 - $10 and can be easily shared. They also have a buffet during lunch and dinner hours, respectively $9 and $11. The location isn't the most obvious for a restaurant, but once you're inside the decor is simple, clean and welcoming. The owners will struck you as being from a chinese background, but trust me after chatting with them, there's a sneaky suspicion India may have been home at some point.
(3)Jamie H.
Tried Kabob Korner for lunch take-out after a co-worker recommended it. I had the chicken rolls. I must say, they were pretty tasty!! Definitely something different for lunch! The chicken rolls were marinated chicken breast pieces with sauteed onions wrapped up in a delicious piece of paratha bread. You get 2 of them with fries for $7. Only complaint...I wish I could have had something a little more authentic besides french fries!! Otherwise, delicious! I will be back!!
(4)Tesha M.
My husband and I visited here the other day and the food was delicious and we would go back! Service was good. We are not experts on kebab type food or Indian food but it was good and pricing was a good deal.
