I was in the drive through for about 13 minutes and the customer in front of me became very angry for having to wait so long. He started cursing, screaming and yelling. I backed out and went inside and asked what was taking so long? They were kind and gave me two free cups of coffee. But, I still had to wait even when I went in side. My information was given and the District manager was kind enough to call and offer an apology. They also sent me a few coupons for free lunch or dinner. That was very nice of them. My husband and I went in for the free lunch meal. Thank you for taking the time to contact me. I will go back and dine again at Hardees. I think they make great onion rings too!

I just have to say that for a fast food joint, this place is clean, the service was great, and the food was delish! We came here for breakfast just to try something different, and I'm glad we did. Great job Hardee's crew! I'll definitely be back.

The staff is very nice but on the flip side ordering and getting your food is very slow here. The burgers and fries are much better here then the Mc Donalds, Buffalo Wild Wings and Burger King that are near here. You will be paying more compared to Mc Donalds and Burger King and about the same as Buffalo Wild Wings. If anything Hardee's is a bargain compared to BWW.

Drove up from Maryland and was so excited to finally taste this fantastically BIG BIG JUICY tasty BURGER. Service was rather slow through the drive through but what the heck I was getting the BIG BIG JUICY tasty BURGER and fries. Oh Boy.....here it comes or rather flew through the window...here catch this. The ingredients in the Burger looked great, everything you could want was there and it did look mouth watering except for one thing....................................it was cold, but then again so were the fries, now that's a combo for sure. I didn't complain and just ate this big burger and it didn't taste bad at all, but it would have been much better if it were served at the correct temperature. Very disappointed to say the least, not sure if I will make the drive to give them a second chance since there are almost fifty other places to get a HOT HAMBURGER on the way there.

1.). Employees attitude are abysmal. Where is the smile? Where is Hardee's sunny smile? Did everyone die? 2.). Beverage station was not supplied for the breakfast (no sugar no cream). Asked for them and waited for at least 10 minutes until assistant manager served us our orders. She refilled but didn't return the box and failed to tell us that they have been refilled. 3.) One of the employee on break was in very negative attitude, walked around among customers while we were eating, where is the manner? 4.). Food and coffee are great! Very clean and all that jazz. Their attitude was what pulled this place into abyss of despair. In the past when this place was opened, everything was in good atmosphere until now... This "grand opening" attitude has completely vanished. Where is thy smile hardee? O, Star of smile!

Food is crap, service is crap, friendliness is crap, cleanliness is crap. Ive been to hardee's all over the place, this or checkers is usually my pick for fast food if its one of my options and this was by far the worst I've ever been to.

(Updated) I have eaten at this particular Hardees off and on since they opened in 2012; I can only go by myself because the wife and four teen/young adult children can't stand the food. Nothing like the Hardees in Maryland when I was growing up. This one has been spotty since they opened; they seem to make less mistakes at breakfast time. No idea why. Tonight I wanted something different from standard fast food fare, so I ordered "The Red Burrito Combo." I should have known there would be a problem when the drive thru girl started arguing with me. "That's the name of the restaurant. We have five different burritos. Which one do you want?" I replied "I am looking at the menu board. It says The Red Burrito." "That's all of them," she said. "Which do you want? Beef? Cheese? Bean? What ?" "I want the one on the menu board that says it's $6.89 for the combo." "That's the beef," she shot back. "What to drink?" "Anything diet." "$5.49. Pull around." "Hmm," I thought. "On sale or wrong item?" I paid cash and she handed my drink out. I thought I had watched another girl pull a regular coke, so I tasted it. Not diet. I handed it back and said " I'm sorry hon. This is regular. I wanted diet." "It is diet," she snapped pointing to the drink machine with it's 20 +/- options. "I know the difference. This is definitely regular," I asserted calmly. "No it's not. It's diet," she argued. I handed the drink back, disgusted and said "look. Just dump it. I don't need a drink. " "It's diet." "Well then you taste it. It's regular." I had just about enough at this point. She snatched it from my hand "Do you want a drink or not?" Just then the very nice girl who pulled the drink walked up and said "Oh, no. I gave him regular." Nasty girl asks "So, do you want a drink or not?" "No. I want an spology." "For what. I'm trying to get what you want. Pull up front and we'll bring it to you." (Pull up front for a drink? When the machine is right there? No way I was letting her pour anything I couldn't see." "Nope. Just have the manager meet me out front." "Ok. Fine." And she slammed the window shut. A "shift manager" came out, brought a replacement drink, listened, explained that she would talk to the cashier when the store slowed down, explained that she (shift manager) had just transferred from the Middletown store (relevance?) and asked if I wanted something else." "No. Just please take care of it." Ok? Am I satisfied? Well, shift manager showed interest -- that was appreciated. BUT then I got the order home. 1) no salsa for the chips, as advertised 2) no utensils. This is finger food? 3) no napkins to clean fingers after using them to eat burrito (I didn't do that.) 4) wrong burrito! After all this, they didn't even get the burrito right. So you look at the photos and tell me. Is it called the "Red Burrito" or not? (Full disclosure. I have ordered it before by that name. I'm pretty sure it's their "signature burrito.") And look at the actual burrito. I cut away half to show the inside. NOT the right one! Since I can't give zero stars, they get one! (Update. It's an hour later, 3 hours after I ate, and I just ran for the bathroom. Truth. Could be a coincidence, but it's all I've eaten since breakfast.)

I give this one star because I had to. If negative stars was an option I would. I think I just ate trash. I've had gas station food that was better

Another lackluster trip to Hardee's. Ordered through drive thru...order taker was rushing. Didn't have 1/2lb burgers available? On a Saturday night? Ordered fish sandwich with fries....got fish tacos. They gave me beans and chips. But forgot the chips. El Diablo burger was ok. Fries were cold. No napkins. Ordered chicken tenders with bbq and red hot sauce. No hot sauce. Had us drive around to wait for food, with no other customers behind us. No napkins in the bag, no ketchup for the fries. Tacos tasted off. Ordered taquitos with sour cream. No sour cream in the bag. Employees spent more time walking in and out on their smoke break and dancing on sidewalk than doing work. Could see 6 employees from parking spot, 3 of which were doing nothing.

Ok, well my family and I went to this Hardee's over the weekend last week and I personally loved the food there. I also agree with the last review though, the portions were kinda small with the fries, and they got my dads and my order confused, but overall I loved the food, the service was great (a little crowded, but that's to be expected because its new). And I definitely would go back, and would recommend this establishment to anyone!

Stopped in hoping to try the porkchop biscuit sandwich on the window signage, but apparently that's just for breakfast (though it doesn't say so on the sign). Since the place is called Hardee's Red Burrito, I tried the steak red burrito combo. This was literally the 2nd worst burrito of my life! Check out the photo I posted of this sad, loosely folded over tortilla with things inside. Using the provided knife to cut the burrito, I found that the tortilla took more effort to cut through than the styrofoam plate on which it was presented. The insides were mostly beans with a few chewy processed pieces of steak at one end. The pico de gallo for the chips was bone dry diced peppers & onions and not even worth trying. At least the puffy tortilla bean bowl was kind of interesting for chip dipping. Normally, I'd chalk up at least some of my disappointment to the fact that Hardee's Red Burrito is just fast food, but this disgrace to mexican-american cuisine is half of the namesake of this place! I almost gave one more star for good customer service (they were generally courteous to me and bring the food to your table), but just before I left, a few of the employees were loudly bad talking a drive-thru customer who didn't park at the nearest spot to wait for their food to be ready. Booooooooooo just go to Taco Bell or the the GREAT taco trailer just down the road (Rivera Taco) if you want the real thing. Oh and the burgers are just ok.

Stopped in here for the first time about 10pm on a Saturday night. I hadn't been to a Hardees' since I was kid in the 70s in the Midwest so I really wanted to give this place a shot. Plus it is still new-ish and looks very cool from the outside. The fact that it was nearly empty (no patrons visible inside and none in drive through) on a beautiful summer Saturday night wasn't a good sign. So I walked in, not sure of what to expect. While walking to the counter a guy I assume from his dress was the manager was walking towards me. He greeted me, but with more of an odd, bug-eyed stare than a welcoming smile. Wasn't sure what to make of that. I needed a minute to sort through a very confusing menu display. Finally decided on something called the "Six Dollar Super Bacon Cheese Thickburger" combo - first time I've ever encountered a menu item with its price in the name - found that kind of funny. Counter guy was pleasant and efficient, except I found it weird that he tried to engage me in a debate with his friend who was sitting nearby in the dining area as to whether she had the right to complain about free food he had just given her (apparently her chicken tasted really old). Isn't giving away food something you keep on the dl? While waiting I noticed that the dining area was pretty clean but the area behind the counter was filthy. Floor looked like it hadn't been swept all shift. A third guy (who probably should have been sweeping up) came out from a side office area to prepare my burger. Again, another extended, bug eyed stare (this time with no greeting). He slapped my sandwich together, boxed it, slid it into the holding bin, and popped back into his hole. Very odd vibe in this place. Once my fries were done I took my bag and left. By this time the manager had returned and was standing next to counter guy. As I turned to leave I heard manager guy say something under his breath to counter guy and they both laughed. I wondered if they were saying "So long, sucker!" But actually I was getting more of a slightly creepy, ogling vibe from manager guy at this point, so who knows. Anyway the food was just okay. Fries weren't bad but had a slight odor of oil that was either old or just plain stinky. And the fries portion was stingy for a so-called medium. Burger was nothing special. It was neither super nor particularly thick and looked and tasted more nuked than charbroiled, although the tomato and onion were both notably fresh. I doubt this place will be around another year unless they get it together or the chain steps in. Too bad.

This Hardee's is a welcome addition to this part of Delaware north of the C&D Canal. It's in the same strip mall as Buffalo Wild Wings on US-40 westbound. Access to the strip mall is possible from Scotland Drive for those going eastbound. My initial impression was this Hardee's isn't as good as the one in Middletown because the seating area is small and cramped. Also, we have to give them time to get their food preparation up to par with the rest of the chain. For now, though, Middletown is still preferable.

Went twice over a period of several months. The food was terrible. I received the wrong order but didn't feel like driving back. I could only get through two bites of a chicken burger before the grease made me sick! Won't be back.
