Our favorite by far. Traditional hand tossed east coast crust, great flavor. Cheese is real and very tasty. Order extra cause it's great cold - the ultimate test of how good pizza is. On the other hand the garlic knots aren't anything I love but my daughter does. Delivery is always fast and the pizzas are nice and hot.

Pizza is okay, it's not east coast style at all. NY style cheese cake? Stop lying...it's small and measly.

We tried this place on a Friday night. The garlic knots are the best part. Not over priced or a cheap spot. The sauce could use a little more favor, but it's an all around decent pizza place.

What's the first thing that comes to mind when I hear Garlic Knots? Buttery bows of dough. And that's just what they are, small little bite-sized knots of dough, with cheese inside. The problem, I'm not tasting much garlic. I expected to walk in and smell that awesome aroma of garlic. Wasn't happening. Bummer. But I did walk in and was greeted by a very friendly cashier with a happy smile and an overwhelmingly great attitude. They have a pretty extensive menu, pizza (whole and by the slice), calzones, Stromboli, lasagna... it's a cute little place built more for take out than dine in. BUt there is plenty of tables and booths- plus wine and beer. There are some great lunch specials, which are good everyday until 4pm. You can grab a slice of pie (picked up that lingo in NY), a basket of garlics knots (with marinara to dunk them in) and a fountain drink for $4. How can you not love a place that serves "Vinnie No Neck" Sangiovese wine? So, the next time you want some knots of garlic and you're not a vampire...this is your place.

Moving out here from New York, it was very difficult to find anything remotely as good as New York pizza. After lving in Colorado for two years, the Garlic Knot has become my fav pizza joint every week. The pizza and service is absolutely amazing and the prices are great! Their speciality pizzas are awesome but their garlic knots are my fav overall.

Great food but don't ever try to place a phone order to go! I was put on hold 4 separate times because the girl that answered didn't know what the specials were or even how to add additional items to an entree. Then when I asked her to read the order back to me, she had it wrong and put me on hold again! No thanks. I will gladly take my business elsewhere.

Want to know the difference between earning my business and steering me away from your restaurant? One pubic hair. Seriously, when you take the pizza out of the oven and slice it do you not look at it? The food was tasting good until my appetite was depleted by the sight of a coarse, curly hair on my niece's slice. I don't even have to mention that the staff looked like a bunch of slackers that wouldn't really care about my experience anyhow, but I will anyway. It's sad because I live right up the street from the Garlic Knot. I might go back to the Garlic Knot...Not.

This was our time at Garlic Knot and the Pizza was 100% real deal NY style pizza. Perfectly crispy, thin crust. Tasty toppings and just the amount of sauce. The owner is a really great guy and was extremely helpful and friendly. Can't wait to go back! 5 stars!

I thought this was the best pizza I had so far in Denver although in fairness, I don't venture out much outstide of the chain delivery pizza places. Therefore, I may not be a good judge. We had a half pepperoni and have cheese pizza and an order of garlic knots. The sauce was good and I especially liked the dough. The garlic knots were the best. They are really garlicy, crispy on the outside and kind of doughy on the inside. Delivery was fast; no complaints.

First time trying the New York style pizza and pasta, we came for some casual pasta for lunch. Casual is defiantly a over statement, and our time there was like being on a roller coaster with the ups and downs. Starting off was a up, my friend said normally they have table side service but since it was lunch it happened to be counter to table, not a problem at all, just a reminder to anyone else. Menu seemed small, simple, full of flavour so we were excited to try some different items out. After ordering, we took a seat and began the ride that consisted of more downs then ups. Between the two of us we shared a Caesar salad, Sicilian pizza, garlic knots and we each got a parts dish, I got the chefs special penne [pink creamy sauce(wtf), chicken, mushrooms, jalapeños]. She got the ravioli's. The best part of this enormous meal was the salad, a simple straight forward Caesar. The garlic knots were undercooked (it's the restaurants name come on). The pizza was sloppily prepped and put together and tasted like it. My pasta had decent flavour if it wasn't drowned in that pink creamy sauce. Her ravioli's were clearly from a frozen bag, drowned in canned sauce, under a comforter of cheese. The most interesting part was two of ravioli's were cut in half to check for doneness and all the filling came out. Another turn off was as the waitress came over to check on us she left a dirty towel on the table two feet from our food. I don't know if we caught them on a off day but I hope all these issues can get tightened up, still debating a second try.

Fantastic food!! Great knots! Baked Ziti! Calzone!! Sauce super fresh!! Can't wait to go back. Watched sports too!

The food is just okay. Being from New York I would have to argue that this is not New York style pizza. At least not from any part of New York I have been to. Perhaps they do not mean NYC, maybe Buffalo :). Anyhow, I still go there but wish it was better. Also, maybe I missing something but I have gotten the actual garlic knots twice now and all they were was knots of bread with no garlic. Seems odd for a place called the Garlic Knot to sell Knots with no garlic. Ironic...

I like white pizza my husband and son prefer red. In comes the Garlic Knot's Mulberry. It's the best of both worlds with half and half. I live around the corner so I can't even count the times I've dined in or gotten delivery. Service is always prompt and polite and the pizza is delicious.

I was really disappointed with this place after reading all the reviews. The service was below par - I think our waitress was the only server there though and she seemed to be playing hostess as well... So that made sense on that part. But I had been hoping for some quality food after all of the reviews on here. Everyone kept gushing about how this was the epitome of "New York style" pizza. Being from the east coast myself I was super excited to find some quality pie. Yeah... Um.... No. Everything I had... From the garlic knots to the pizza to the dessert was just bland. All of it. No distinct flavor. I was super bummed. This place had "Goombas Pizzeria" type of reviews so I expected nothing less. :(. Oh well. If you like bland food then this is your place.

I'm impressed! 3 visits in and so far everything has been great. The stuffed pizza was excellent, not the most generous portion but not the skimpiest by far. The chefs special I believe it's called is very delicious as well. The staff is very friendly but a shy under trained as I never seem to get the exact style of service on each visit. Not that I want robots running around but you can tell it's possibly a first job for most of them. The real winner here is the garlic knots that are amazing buttered to perfection and loaded with garlic flavor! I really think that the 1 star review was directed towards the service as they are mostly high school students greeting, seating and taking your order so let's not forget a lot of our actions and reactions from when we were younger

Came in a couple weeks ago, just saw it driving by. I love pizza, especially new york style. This place does it, and does it well! I looked at the huge menu before ordering and decided on making my own. I am usually hesitant about that bc I order a ton of toppings and am afraid of them coating it just lightly. I love the toppings piled on and The Garlic Knot did that! I didn't even ask. I ordered 6 toppings mostly meats and everything tasted superb! For appetizers, my girlfriend and I got the garlic knots, which were very good! They also have pasta, and my girlfriend ordered spaghetti with meatballs. The entree was very good as well. With a place like this close to home, I highly recommend them when you are craving italian/pizza. They also deliver which is a plus!

  • Bill C.

Real NY pizza. We moved here from NY and finally found real NY pizza. Done. Manager is awesome. So friendly and welcoming. Tip: Order an extra large plain pie to get closest to NY style as you can find in our area. The dough is thinner than the large. I have been coming here every week for 6 months. Very consistent. I see a lot of reviews that are not so flattering. Yes the salad could use a little more horsepower. But I am here to get pizza, not salad.

So I've been on a pizza mecca around Denver and have hit up all the top places. Garlic Knot is not on that list. Why is the dough so tough? Not just with some chew but tough? At all the places I've gone, I've kept it to a slice of cheese pizza. The cheap ingredients, particularly the cheese, can't hold up to such a simple format. I wouldn't even recommend the garlic knots. Again, tough dough and seasoning I could easily duplicate if not improve upon at home. Just down the road is Rosati's. I know it's only delivery but their pizza is far better.

You often get coupons for this place on the back of your receipts at the nearby King Soopers. Use those puppers, people! The garlic knots themselves are sort o hit-or-miss. The fist time I went here (eat-in) these were very tasty, but the second time (take out) they were kind of tough, as a previous reviewer stated. I'm a sucker for garlic though, so I ate them unashamedly. With my molars. New York style pizza of the kind rarely seen in Colorado. I live in NYC now, though I grew up a few blocks from where this restaurant is located, so trust me when I say this pizza is pretty close to what you'll get in New York. ;) The crust is excellent, exactly the right thinness and it's not floppy.

My fiancee, an avid fan of Big Bills Pizza in Centennial, was going through NY style pizza withdrawals when we moved up to Westminster. A friend recommended The Garlic Knot so we tried it out and she was ecstatic. Food was great, service was great, they had the game on so I was happy, and was even more pleased when I got the bill. Very fair, very friendly. Keep up the good work.

Severely disappointed when I visited yesterday. I'll cut them some slack, as it was Saturday evening, and they were slammed. But after a 30 minute wait, spaghetti was far overcooked and inadequately strained - a pool of starchy water at the bottom of the plate. And the sauce! Previously, I really liked their marinara sauce. What we got tasted like it came from a bargain shelf at King Soopers. I may try the pizza. But right now it looks like it was good when it opened and the owner was there, but now he's not and they slacked off something awful. Including on ingredients.

Good pizza, calzones and the garlic knots are nice too. Tried the place for the firs time today with some coworkers, one of whom loves these guys (apparently they're a chain of sorts) - anyway, I'd seen the place right next to a Buffalo Wings place in the strip mall, and it was on my list of pizza to try out. Overall I wasn't disappointed. They have Coke Zero in the soda machine - call me picky, but I'll drive zero then water before ever drinking diet-choke, but that's a different review. You order up front and sit down, and they bring the food out. The seating is cheap and simple, but they do have silverware and plates, so it's not quite ghetto NY pizza. Now as for the pizza, it's cooked properly, looks good, and is good. I had a calzone while watching the coworkers demolish two different pizza's (one with anchovies)(yuck!). Anyway, my calzone was cheap and small - but had the perfect blend of cheeses - these guys used the real stuff too - the grease was top notch high-grade heart-attack stuff - the stuff you want! The tomato sauce was fresh and perfect as well - served not hot, not cold - but at just the right temperature. Now I wouldn't recommend this as a fancy date night, but if you're taking the kids out for za, and want something good, this is your place. I didn't see any of the big pies out while I was there - but the menu goes right up where it needs to be for a big pizza. Definitely a good find for the Denver area - where good pizza is hard to find, these guys are teaching Abo's what cooked means!!

I was debating on a 3 or 4 but in the end a 3 edged it out. Thats not to say its a bad place. We got a pepperoni and onion pizza and to be honest it was pretty good with a killer crust. We also got some chicken wings that had a nice crust on them with a good buffalo sauce. Where they fell short was the garlic knots that oddly enough were a bit chewy and tough. The Marinara dipping sauce was good and the flavor of the knots werent bad but I couldnt get over the chewiness. Last but not least the delivery time was pretty on point. All in all good flavors but a major flaw in the knots led me to a middle of the road 3.

That was so tasty Pepperoni Pizza!! Also there were some free coupons for 5 free garlic knots that we found. Those were super yummy, however salty. I would probably prefer garlic knots with actual garlic or olive oil instead of salt, but every place has their version. The pizza was great, but oily. Typical of pepperoni so I can't complain too much. They have ice cream you can buy as well. The staff was very friendly and very quick to get you refills. The place was clean and had a great New York theme on the walls. Love the photos.

I've recently relocated to the area and wanted to try a pizza place that wasn't a chain. I picked The Garlic Knot based on reviews and proximity to my apartment. It was excellent and a great example of New York Style Pizza. I thought the crust had just the right amount of bite and the toppings were neither too little or too much. We ordered The B.Q.E which has pepperoni, mushroom, black olive and tomato on it. An excellent combination and I'm definitely a fan. I'll be trying another pizza of theirs in the future and it was a positive experience.

I had this place two or three times in a week long period. It wasn't because their food was awesome, but because it was the only place I could find that delivered to the Residence Inn in Westminster. Don't get me wrong, the food was fine, but not some place you eat three times a week.

Great food and service, I will definitely be back. After reading a few of the reviews I was a bit concerned , but I would never completely rely on other opinions. I can now say after visiting the rest. and eating the food, it was great and glad we went.

I seriously recommend this restaurant for the great food and the awesome staff. Their pizza is amazing! Nice New York style pizza loaded with whatever toppings you choose, and the large is huge!! The crust is yummy, not too dry, not wet at all, and the flavor is really good. The garlic knots are to die for!! I definitely see why this place is named for them!! The staff was really great. They are fun and nice and really great to be around! I love how fast the service is and how everything has come out perfectly. If you eat in, they make sure you have everything you need. This place is my new go to pizzaria. I won't be ordering from anywhere else again. Seriously try it!!!! You will fall in love!!!!

I once got delivery from here and I was not at ALL happy with what I got. However, I have lived next to this place for the last year. We finally went in and got a slice. I didn't even realize it was the same place. LOVE the pizza here, slices are the way to go. I LIVE for this place, and I don't like the doughy knots they make, so they cook em a bit longer for me. The Owner Nanu is a great guy, and their staff is dedicated to making your experience awesome!

I Love Love this place- loved it when I first met it in 2010 in Lakewood, CO and now it is near my house and I can get delivery - yeah! This location in Westminster, CO has dining too and plenty of seating. Love it! Slice pizza, salads, calzones, traditional favorites like pasta and sandwiches... yum! Kid friendly and kid-approved, the Garlic Knots are to die for and their signature garlic knots are so good! Oh and check out my blog post on this and the lakewood location: getcluedincolorado.com/2… Now, we finally got a chance to eat-in today and with my two rowdy kids too - I love this place and there is even soft serve ice cream now... yum! We ate in, had the special and love the pizza and knots here... I also tried to eggplant parm another time when we had delivery and loved it. You just can't go wrong. The owner, Nanu is great, and the staff is amazing. The kids got all the garlic knots they could eat too! My friend loved her salad and said the pizza was like no other she had had. Thanks, Garlic knot for hitting the mark again!

  • Amanda J.

Greek salad is mainly iceberg & feta. Wanted a Stromboli but you can't modify it... At all. That says to me they are prepped ahead of time, not fresh. The garlic knots were ok. A little bigger & a lot less garlicy than what we're used to but they were still good. The slice of cheese pizza was huge & to be expected from a place claiming NY style pizza. We had a calzone as well. Usually, you can split a calzone... Not this one. Really small. It was ok but we won't go out of our way to go back.

Seriously yummy. Had the chicken parmesan entree with some knots and two days later I am still craving more. Service was good and I really enjoyed the photo decor. I will definitely be back sooner rather than later!

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to this Garlic Knot location. The food was delicious and the service was even better! My server was attentive and sweet and the owner was around to make sure my entire experience was enjoyable. I will absolutely be returning again and again!

The cheesy garlic knots are excellent. The pizza is tasty too. Last night we got an order of knots and a scilian pizza 1/2 pepperoni & jalapino and 1/2 mushroom & eggplant. Delivery took less than the phone estimated time and everything arrived pipping hot.

This is another addition to the chain from New York. I have to start with the admission that I am not a New York style of pizza lover. I was introduced to Chicago deep dish when I was but a wee lad and never really looked back. However, there is something special about this particular store. They serve Coke Zero! No, that's not it. I will start with the garlic knots. They are pretty darn good and unlike some other garlic knots I have had they are not nearly as sopping with grease. I don't know if it was a temporary promotion during their grand opening, but we were given a free order because we were new there. Free garlic knots are in fact my favorite garlic knots. The pizza was also pretty good too. I have a nasty habit of asking the wait staff what I should have if this is my first and last time visiting their store. The waitress did not skip a beat and gave a suggestion from the list of pizzas. Kudos to a well trained and on the ball staff. I would also like to point out that we have a gluten sensitivity in our family and they have the distinction of the best gluten free pasta EVER. I know, this is the pasta they purchased for the store, but it takes twenty minutes to cook. Gluten free pasta can not be precooked like regular pasta and they opted to take the time cooking it instead of the nasty stuff that falls apart or tastes like rubber. They even offered to hook us up with the brand for home use. The owner Nanu (like Mork and Mindy) is an awesome guy. He seems to genuinely care about his customers. So if you stop by, say hi for us. The food and service is really good, but I have to say it is Nanu and the gluten free stuff that really sets this place apart. Go try them out - you'll be back!

I cut my head on the low metal awning over the napkin dispenser. The only response I got from the counter person was "you really hit that hard." No apology. No comp on my meal. No offer of a bandage. No indication that they would fix the dangerous awning.

I am so happy this place moved into my neighborhood! I am from the East Coast and it is sometimes hard to get good NY pizza out here. I was very impressed the first time we ordered pizza and have ordered it several times since then. It is also in walking distance from our house so my boyfriend and I like to go on a nice long walk on a Sunday and end up here for some beers, pizza, salad, and football! The staff is great as well. A truly enjoyable experience all around!!!!

4 out of the last 4 times Ive ordered there....Ive yet to recieve what I actually order. The food seems fine.....the gal that took my order last night; great as well. The cooks/manager need fired, they obviously could care less what they put on a sandwich or whats actually on an order form....Its rediculousness at this location.....unbelievably lousy. And another thing....when a customer calls to let you know.....the night manager probably shouldnt be a rude smartr a-- about it, acting like your trying to somehow scam them. Some of us actually want what we paid for guy (maybe its truly NOT a scam.....ever maybe consider that, because I wouldnt quit your day job if I were you)....Im pretty sure that when someone orders a chelsea.....that means it comes with more that JUST CHEESE on it.....even a little sauce might of been helpful.

Great pizza! I walked in and ordered pizza for take out. The pizza was made quick. The customer service was great! They offered me something to drink while i waited for my pizza, the pizza was a bit greasy but really what pizza isnt greasy? The garlic knots were yummy! The pizza was great, I love their sausage! I will definately go back!

2.5 stars...O.K. my family and I ordered from here twice before I decided to write this review. The first time everything was wonderful. I got 4 meals for $40 including tip, I ordered lasagna, baked ziti, spaghetti and meatballs and the chef's special which is a creamy red sauce type thing. I had the lasagna but I tried a bite of everything as did everyone else. Everything tasted really wonderful, the sauces had the right amount of seasoning, herbs and spice, the pasta was al dente. I was impressed! Especially since it was delivery!!! Talk about excited momma. However, the knots left a little to be desired. They don't have much flavor and are really doughy. I couldn't eat them because any dough not fully cooked gives me a stomach ache, but I was cool since everything else was so incredible. The second time, not so much. I ordered almost the same thing, but added a calzone for my son and some hot wings that I requested be extra crispy. All of the pasta was over cooked and mushy, the knots were undercooked again and my wings were completely slimy. I cannot stand slimy wings ugh...On top of everything, they forgot my cheesecake but still charged me for it. When I called, they simply offered a credit or asked if we wanted to come get it (we had opted to pick up instead of deliver). That is frustrating in itself, but then when I explained about the wings I was told that they only come one way and extra crispy or well done is not an option. I has asked about this specifically before and was told it wouldn't be a problem...otherwise I wouldn't have wasted my money on them obviously. Therefor, I am not happy with them and probably will not be back. When they put me on hold to wait for a manager, I was so frustrated that I finally hung up. Sigh, how depressing...I was so excited to have a fine Italian place, nearby, that delivers...Now all my fantasies of lasagna love and spaghetti string dreams are shattered. Or should I say "mush a lini"?

  • Ingrid S.

I really wanted to go and surprise my friend with the Italian place that use to be in the spot of the Garlic Knot, however it was no longer there. However I wasn't going to run away and say no thanks. So my friend and I tried this place, we decided to order off the kids menu as we weren't that hungry, there pretty good, both of us got baked cheese ravioli and the meatballs and the size portions were "wow" for a kid portion I was surprised at home much cheese ravioli was given was a huge portion. I was kinda impressed with the meatballs, a little more seasonings would be nice, but they were decent. The staff was friendly and the place filled up quick. The management told me they deliver when I told them that I was going to yelp them. It would be nice if they did more advertising themselves like putting themselves here and putting themselves out there like using Grubhub.com instead of just excepting there customer to do it, as that is the feeling I got from the manager or owner. However beside that point, good food and decent prices, if I crave Italian that is close and don't want a regular chain food Italian I will stop by here.

Great pizza, however delivery area doesn't even cover all of Westminster unlike most other local shops. Major bummer guys.

We took a 14-girl softball team here and the staff and food was amazing. I called ahead to order and make sure they had room for about 35 of us. I had ordered for the girls ahead of time. When we got there, all the parents ordered. They were so quick with all our orders, knowing we didn't have a lot of time before our next game. The pizza and knots were fantastic. They had us in and out in no time. Great staff! If we lived nearby, we would definitely go back.

  • Tony T.

This place is really close to my parents house and I was craving some pasta. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, as well as the small order of garlic knots. I ordered this for pick-up so keep that in mind. The spaghetti hit the spot. The meatballs made the dish for sure. Only thing I wish it had was some crushed pepper and Parmesan included. I feel like I got more than I ordered with the garlic knots. 'Small' says 4 pieces on the menu, I got something close to 10. Always a plus, but not sure if it was an accident or not. I like that they heat up the dipping sauce. Other restaurants I've had skimped out on that. While the flavor didn't stand out on the knots, they were enjoyable. Would come back again when I start craving more pasta.

Tonight was the second time we found a hair in our food. There was only one waitress for all the tables. There where two flies in the restaurant. Has the same atmosphere as cici's pizza. Definitely won't ever go back.

I know not to try puffy looking pizza and expect it to taste great. One's love for pizza is personal, and it seems to be at least regionally based. Last Friday, we tried take-out white pizza with anchovies. It was just OK, puffy, slightly greasy (pan style). It fed me. When I try a new place, I also like to sample it's other offerings, and I use the kids menu as my sampling palate. Friday, I also ordered the kids cheese ravioli. When we got home, I opened the container and the aroma of onions almost overtook me (I am the biggest onion hater on the planet). Still, I tried, and yep -- super oniony, so much so that Kate K. could not even eat it, and she can "handle" cooked onions. Just because this place is not for me, does not mean that it is not for you. The Garlic Knot staff did not do anything wrong. If you do not get excited when you hear pizza described as "New York" "tossed" "East Coast" "Northeastern"-- or hell -- "RIGHT COAST" then you may want to try this place. If you like the texture of Papa Johns, Domino's, Pizza Hut, etc., and that is the pizza that you mostly identify or imagine when you think of pizza, then you might like The Garlic Knot. Or if you really love oniony red sauce, this is your place.

Highly disappointing. We ordered garlic knots and a pizza. First, if you are going to be named Garlic Knot then your garlic knots should be amazing and have tons of flavor. Sadly they were some bread sprinkled with garlic salt or garlic powder. It was bland and boring. The marinara was very sweet and not very good. Secondly, your pizza is overly sweet! I wanted a savory pizza so that's what I ordered and I was given a very sweet and strange tasting pizza. The cheese, pepperoni, artichoke hearts and olives were very low quality. The sauce--again-- was very sweet. The crust was actually the only good part but could not save this pizza. I ordered ranch dressing/dip in hopes that it could turn this pizza around but it didn't help! The sweetness of the pizza in general was too overwhelming and nothing could help that! Will not be back and would not recommend this place!!

  • Marty C.

I ordered some food to go. When I got home, yuck. The "garlic knots" we're more like "garlic turds," lumps of mostly-uncooked dough with a little bit of brown on the bottom. Thus us the second time I've eaten their food, and the last time was disappointing, too. That's enough for me.

So I used to order from garlic knot quite a bit but today I was told that I'm out of there delivery area which is funny because they always delivered before I will not be ordering from them again because of the terrible customer service.

We went for dinner the other night and ordered a simple cheese pizza with fresh garlic and it was AWESOME! Being from NYC, I have to say it was pretty close to the real thing. The pizza had a good amount of sauce and cheese and most importantly, the crust was perfect! What also made the evening perfect was the fantastic waitress we had...LOLA! Oh yeah...the cinnamon knots are very good. I highly recommend you give these guys a shot!

Very belated update. The pizza was just... Not good. At all. Tasted like it had been reheated (likely because it sat for so long). The texture was way off, and the garlic knots were underdone.

Delivery from .5 miles away took 1.5 hours because the driver was incompetent, and when I had initially ordered the pizza I asked the girl to repeat my order back to me, and seemingly annoyed, she did. When I received my order it was cold and wrong. I called back and explained and they said they would refund me. Two days and two phone calls later, I still haven't received it. Take pride in your work, and just do it right. I work in the industry and understand it's not easy, but it also shouldn't be this hard.

I usually order take out from here. It looks like they have some good specials for dine in though. I love their crust and they have a wide variety of toppings. They don't overdo it with the sauce. It gets a bit expensive when you start adding on a lot of toppings. I just go with my standby of sausage and pepperoni. Try the garlic knots smothered with mozzarella. They are delicious. The staff is always friendly. I would definitely give this place a try.

Ordered a take out Five Borough with pepperoni, garlic, basil, spinach, and bacon, and an order of garlic knots with melted mozzarella sauce, it was all pretty good. All the ingredients tasted really fresh, flavorful, and satisfactory. The prices were reasonable for the product you get. I arrived early and my pizza wasn't ready yet, they allowed me to get a beer while I was waiting which was nice. The service was okay, they didn't look too enthusiastic to be there but at least they were good eye candy. The store was fairly clean and they had an eat in section but I didn't really check it out. Overall, the place was pretty good and I will definitely be keeping it in mind next time we are looking for some pizza.

I am from the east coast and have tried a lot of pizza in the area. This is some of the best I have come across. The price however is up there 15.50 for a large one topping pizza for pick up. You sometime get put on hold when you call but I have never had issues with waiting for to long. My order is normally done within 20 minutes regardless of how packed they are. The people inside have always been nice and treated me with respect. It looks like a nice place to sit and eat as well.

I first encountered one of their delivery drivers dropping off an order for my neighbors in the condo next to me, he was very polite and friendly and had a huge smile on his face. This is initially what caused me to check them out. I called in an order only to find that the lady who took my order was just as friendly and jovial as the driver I encountered (I called him "shaggy" LOL). I wound up requesting that particular driver because often times (I order out often too), the customer service is humdrum. She said she'd try but they only had two drivers and were busy. Fine :-) So, I wait and almost an hour later (as she had told me it would be upfront), my doorbell rings and I open the door to a blonde kid in glasses (not the same guy). He was smiling before I even opened the door to see who it was!! :-) Not only that but he was incredibly friendly, polite and jovial. I was absolutely amazed and consider this to be THE BEST SERVICE I have ever experienced through food delivery and calling in an order....Hands down!! I made the mistake of tipping him alright but not well enough and regret that I didn't double the tip!! To make up for that, I called them back, asked for the on duty manager and told my story to her (she happened to be both the person who answered the call and who had taken my order....BINGO!!) I gave all of them an excellent recommendation and told her that they had won me as a loyal customer and to keep doing it right, just as they all had!! I don't care what anyone else says, the Garlic knot won a new AND loyal customer. This is all coming from a guy who's been in customer service most of my working career (I'm 44 going on 30 LOL) I've owned and managed businesses and would hire any one of these 3 any day of the week and hope they had duplicates to bring with them!! EXCELLENT JOB YOU GUYS....AND GAL!!! :-) I wish I had gotten all of their names but, it doesn't matter, They rock!!!

I love this place! The staff is very attentive and friendly. Every time I come in my pizza is cooked to perfection, crispy just the way I like it. They deliver to my house too which is a bonus! Great quality and great prices! My favorite is Canadian bacon, pineapple, red onion, and bacon! My boyfriend loves their calzones and Stromboli. If you like New York style pizza this is your place!! Their garlic knots and garlic bread are to die for!!

Flash back to exactly one year ago today. A young couple was moving into their first apartment together with their toddler in tow. After a long day of moving and some unpacking (it was a 3rd floor apartment, mind you), they were starving! A quick iPhone search suggested the Garlic Knot for some yummy pizza. So, they call and order a pepperoni and olive pizza, nothing too fancy, along with the signature garlic knots. They are promised to have it delivered in 45 minutes to an hour, and it arrives in less than 15. Score! Now as for the pizza itself....it was thin, cheesy, and absolutely HEAVENLY after a long day of carrying boxes. The garlic knots were fresh and delightful when dipped in ranch. Well, as you might have guessed, this story is about my own little family. And one year later, we still love this place! Best pizza ever.

The Garlic Knot is a great NY style pizza and pasta restaurant. It doesn't seam very nice from the outside but the food is tasty. They are known for their garlic knots, of course, and they were wonderful. Their marinara sauce tasted like it was straight from Italy. I choose a Greek salad and it was average at best. The chicken was cold and tough. But I tasted my husbands meatballs and pasta and it was delicious. I guess this is not the place to eat healthy. Their pizza looked delicious, we will try it next time. The guys working were extremely nice and helpful. They worked hard to keep every one happy and the food was out in a timely manner. If you are in the mood for great Italian food you must stop in the Garlic Knot.

If you like really cold pizza that you waited an hour and a half for. This is your place! My Calzone was still raw in the middle. So yummy!

I figured this would be legit NY style pizza when I saw it had that hole in the wall vibe. Definitely the 2nd best New York style pizza I've found in Denver so far. Reminds me of some of the pizza joints in Buffalo, NY.

This place delivers: YES. Food came in a timely fashion and orders were correct: YES. The garlic knots were seemingly absent of garlic: BOO. The penne pasta with chicken, broccoli and mushrooms was good: YES. It could've used more garlic: BOO. Not the best I've had, not the worst I've had. A-ok seems to be the conclusion. Solid stuff, not too shabby!

Ordered a large pizza and a Greek salad for delivery. The order arrived earlier than quoted and the delivery guy was very friendly. The pizza and the Greek salad were both excellent. The pizza was cooked to perfection and it had just the right amount of fresh toppings. I ordered it with garlic, tomatoes and basil. The salad was also very fresh and the dressing was light and tasty. Overall excellent!

I have eaten at the Garlic Knot on south Wadsworth and thought the calzones where delicious. Went to try this one and it does not have it together!!! Ordered calzones, a salad, small pizza, and some appetizers. It took 35 minutes to get our garlic bread. At the 45 minute mark the waiter came out to verify our order, huge red flag. The stoner cooks in the kitchen where yelling something about "smoking that bowl"! One of them must of hand quite the cotton mouth he came out to refill his soda twice. Then I seen another stroll out of the back to use the restroom hair a mess not tied back or covered looked like he just rolled out of bed. At the 1 hour and 30min mark I start to talk to the family about just eating somewhere else. I look down and shoved in a hole on the booth we are sitting next too is a huge piece steel wool, I assume it's to prevent the mouse who chewed through there from returning. At this I believe it's time to go; 1 hour and 40 minutes later. I get up go to the register and ask for the bill for what we have had. I look into the kitchen and there's four young guys (all of which look as unkept as the first) playing around in the back with the door wide open. No wonder they have a problem with vermin. The waiter says his apologize tells me don't worry about the bill and we leave. Would of loved to of loved this place, foods good at the other one, prices are fair, and we are close enough to get delivery. Unfortunately I will never go back to this one I definitely get that vibe this place is ran like the restaurant in that movie "Waiting". I only wish I would had taken some pictures.

Sitting here at the Garlic Knot and had a great lunch. I had the slice, knots, and drink special. I am stuffed and didn't even finish it, Lol. Know always have the perfect amount of garlic. Love this place. It's a small place, but food is great and staff are friendly. Check out other review on my travel blog at ourtravelingblog.com .

I've ordered pizza here and it was quite delicious. The Greek salad was a decent size and tasty too. However the eggplant Parmesan hero? Not so good... Couldn't really taste the eggplant for all the breading. I guess I'll stick with the pizza.

They won't deliver 3.2 miles away, even though they have before? So that doesn't make any sense...they send us menus all the time.

I have been to this location for dine in a few times, and each time has been pretty good. The most recent visit was a Saturday evening, and I could immediately tell that the takeout was super busy. The rest of the restaurant had 3-4 open tables, but that was the busiest I had seen it. Our waitress was very pleasant, although there was a time during our meal that she seemed to disappear (maybe on break?), but luckily another waitress noticed some of our drinks were low and brought us refills. The garlic knots with cheese were hot and delicious, and the pizza was very good too, but both took a while to get to the table, even though we ordered the garlic knots with our drinks. My only other critique is that they don't offer milk as a beverage. Now I understand this may be a bit picky, as the majority of their visitors may not have children (although during our last visit there were at least 3 other tables with a child under the age of 5), but only having the options of Water or Pop (Sugary Lemonade included) for my kid makes it tough. I just feel like there are plenty of younger families that would come out and order beer/wine for the parents and milk for their kids if given that option.

Found ourselves here after trying to get in at other area restaurants. Garlic knots are decent but need more garlic IMO. Ordered the make you're own pie, good selection of toppings and all were applied liberally and tasted very fresh. Gold star on the white sauce. Very flavorful but not over powering to the rest of the pie, same for the toppings. No harsh pizza breath afterwards. Wait staff was nice and serves the food quickly. Good place for a night when you just don't know what to eat. We'll be back again.

I can only eat the gluten-free pizza, which is pretty standard. BUT, they have ridiculously quick delivery when I'm feeling too lazy to drive the 1/2 mile. They usually say 45 min to 1 hour but show up within 20 minutes. Under-promise, over-deliver. I like it. It's not a bad place to eat in, either. Plus, we ALWAYS get coupons for free garlic knots with our order, which is cool. I can't eat them, because... gluten. But it's still cool.

Since moving here from NYC last year Ive struggled to find pizza as good as there. Like other reviews say this is pretty close to the real deal, maybe not exactly like New York City Proper or the metro area but definitely in the state. I will keep going back and would recommend this to someone that wants the relatively close experience.

Called and ordered small Pizza and caesar salad (after being put on hold for a few minutes, but no biggee) I was told it would be 45 minutes to an hour. 1 hour and 27 minutes later the pizza and salad arrived. I tipped the guy even though I was unhappy about the delay. Pizza was luke warm and not very good. Salad was soggy and had way too much dressing. I'm not a pizza snob at all, but this was not good pizza and not a good salad and the wait was BS. I signed up with Yelp JUST to leave this review.

Our odyssey began with an (illegal?) door spam. Two things stood out:! 1)garlic and 2) ny style. The thing I miss most about NYC is the Italian and jewish food. Okay, so I can't count to two. The environment is typical NY pizza joint give or take. The food was awesome. As I am 'avoiding carbs' I had a Stromboli. Although not generous in proportion, it was great. The marinara was almost perfect (a bit too much salt). I was back in NY. I decided to test the lim its with a garbage calzone. It was great too. Reluctantly, I forced myself to leave. I'll be back. WIFi still with the Century Link SSID. VPN not blocked. YAY!

Much better than the old Amici's that used to be there. But tonight had an issue. When you order a two item pizza and one of the items is totally wrong! Green peppers are not green olives! How hard is it to get it right?

Don't forget to try the Garlic knots with your pasta. Good stuff! After placing our order, we realized that we forgot to order the Garlic knots. Our host generously added them to our order at no extra charge. The food and service was outstanding. Its not your average pizza joint. The baked Ziti with Meatballs was really good. My wife had the Greek Salad. I'm going to add that to my meal next time. It looked good as well. If you are in the area, go give them a try for lunch or dinner.

The key to this place is dining in. If you are going delivery order something else. This pizza is significantly better when fresh and hot out of the oven and same with the knots. We always go pepperoni, meatball, mushroom, sausage and ricotta with knots. While the pizza is very good and I encourage you to eat there the beer selection and atmosphere blows. I feel like you have to consciously decide to have a beer menu that badly.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
