I am a big fan of Teds. Organic, hormone free, cage free, free range I eat that mojo up, literally.

Dear Ted, You make a great Arnold Palmer and I love the tiny beaded ice, it gives it almost a slushy consistency with out the brain freeze. However, your sweet potato fries were disappointing to say the least and tasted like they had been under a heat lamp all day. Please note my dear friend that the service is usually pretty mediocre at best and only when a manager is scrambling to make up for the server is it ever noticed that our drinks have been long empty. Maybe you should invest in some bigger glasses... they wouldn't have to be refilled quite as often! You do have a saving grace.... just the mere thought of one of your bison burgers sets me off like Pavlov's dog, my mouth is salivating and I find myself licking my lips. Bacon.... Swiss.... Mushroom.... Bison Burger. Not going to lie you had me at Bacon. Sincerely, Disappointed and yet, hungry again PS For a restaurant that preaches reduce, reuse, and recycle I find it ironic that you have paper tablecloths on top of pleather ones that get disposed after each use. Wouldn't it be more earth friendly to just wipe down the pleather ones? just throwing that out there!

If you're craving a burger, you have to stop in Ted's Montana Grill. For just a few bucks more than your referee shirt wearing bar and grill chain, you have a choice of beef or bison. Food, service and drinks are always on point! Depending on what time you stop in, there could be a short wait, but there is a bar and plenty of seating in the waiting area. They do have a variety of other dishes if you're not feeling like having a burger. Quick tip, you have to have the Kahlua Fudge Brownie for dessert.

I'm having to update my review. Last time I went, I got food poisoning. I think from the chili. That usually knocks a restaurant completely off my list of options. So now I won't be going back.

This place makes me happy. favorites include bison beatloaf and the short ribs (available Saturday and Sundays; maybe Friday?). my dining companion is partial to the prime rib (availability same as the short ribs). sides: squash casserole, mashers and gravy, green beans. I've enjoyed everything I've had. Service is good. the little dish of "half and half"s (pickle/cucumber) is great and we usually get a second. good thing I just ate otherwise I'd be dropping some cash tonight!

Ted's is a great place if you're interested in great food, a solid wine/beer menu, and a relaxed classy atmosphere. I've been there more than 5 times and have always had good to great service. The bison short ribs are amazing, as is the Cadillac BBQ burger. Others have mentioned the good salmon dish, perhaps surprisingly given the restaurant's terrestrial focus. Try sitting outside in the summer, the people watching is fun. If inside, ask for a booth, the high backs make a rather private experience. Enjoy!

Lunchtime was a good time to go to Ted's... and it was a perfect day for the patio. Warm & sunny. It wasn't too busy - except for one really large table inside. We were seated promptly and a waiter came to take our drink order and bring us the customary cucumber/pickle dish. Our drinks come and we order ... I go for the Vermejo bison burger cooked medium (jack cheese and grilled onions & mushrooms - and some added jalapenos). After a good wait the waiter comes back to assure us that our order will be coming up soon. After another duration he returns to tell us that our order has been stuck behind another large party and he apologizes for the wait and courteously asks if there's anything he can do to make our wait more comfortable. We insist we're good and enjoy the sunshine. Eventually my burger arrives and there is no pink whatsoever on the burger. This definitely looks medium-well to well-done to me. However, it is still juicy and delicious. We give the waiter the coupon we have when he clears our plates and then it takes at least 15 minutes for him to return with the bill. For awhile he is completely MIA. He apologizes when he returns to the table stating that he needed some manager help to adjust the bill for the coupon but that the manager was also running the grill today. Interesting. I would've given at least 3 stars because the bison burgers are very good but I really don't think I can justify the price (even though they are big burgers) or the incredibly slow service. I am happy to pay for extremely good food ... but I can't necessarily say that the food (at this location at least) is worth it.

Six of us were seated quickly...I now know why. The server, bless her heart, could not even take a correct drink order. Water for the table, two lemonades, two hot cocoas' and one corona. Three waters arrived, 10 mins. later two lemonades, 10 mins later two hot cocoas'?! The server had two ugly glasses of mudwater on her tray accompanied by two open (and spilled) Swiss Miss powder packs! Yes!! Visable Swiss Miss pack at the customers table! Server could not even stir the mix in and left that task to us! We then reminded our server about the water and corona missing from the table. Curious if they're unloading BK in the back for their burgers. We had to instruct our server in everything. "We are ready to order, we are missing this and that, please refill the water, check please, pen to fill the check please." and so on. Food was slow to arrive, but not too bad. Salmon was good, burgers had good interesting qualities,(I had the hot&green burger which has jalapenos, guac, shrooms, swiss amongst others.), the steak from the kids menu is scrapmeat though. Spend the $ for the real deal. I will not visit this establishment again.

Ted's definitely exceeded my expectations. If you read my review for Saltgrass Steakhouse, you will see me singing their praises for their extraordinary steak. While Ted's is also a steakhouse, my personal opinion is that Saltgrass is the place to go for Steak, but Ted's is the place to go for Bison. Ted's atmosphere almost scares you a bit when you first walk in. You immediately feel underdressed, but the dress code is casual (typical of Colorado). Leather booths, lots of mahogany, and dim lighting make for a very upscale atmosphere that almost makes you fear what the prices on the menu will look like. Luckily, once you see the menu, you can feel relieved that the prices range anywhere from $12 for a bison burger to $35 for a bison ribeye. There is definitely something for everyone on the menu. As Colorado is very into the "green" movement, it's important to say that Ted's materials are very sustainable. For example, the drinking straws are made o recycled paper and not plastic. As a chef, it's also very respectable that Ted's makes as much as it can from scratch, including all of their salad dressings, pickles, their soups, and their fresh squeezed lemonade. Which beings me to the first of my favorite menu items- their House Ranch salad dressing, which is absolutely to die for. I typically stick to Bison Burgers (particularly the America's Cup Burger) but I have also had their beef prime rib. Their beef prime rib is dry-aged, which makes for a flavorful cut of meat, but personally I think Saltgrass serves better prime rib. They also serve homemade desserts. My reccomendation here is the Strawberry Shortcake. This is probably one of the best desserts I have ever had, but unfortunately after looking up the nutrition facts on it, this is not kind to your waistline, so be careful if you're watching that. This brings up another great point. I'm on Weight Watchers, so the fact that Ted's discloses all of it's nutritional information online, along with healthy eating tips, is very impressive and helpful. Lastly, Ted's served a house Cabernet Sauvignon that is straight from owner Ted Turner's private winery. I am typically not a fan of bold red wines but happily drank 2 glasses of the Ted Turner Cab, that's how smooth it was.

Had a late lunch around 2 pm. Two of us ordered bison pot roast. Right of the bat the meat tasted kind of "gamey". I chalked that up to the fact it was bison and we didn't know what it was supposed to taste like. Turned out we were wrong. Got a bad case of stomach upset adn diarrrhea that lasted two days. Rest of the party enjoyed their dinners. Service was spotty, had a problem tracking down the waiter at one point.

I am really impressed with how Ted's is addressing the need to lower dining costs they have really nice deals like $8 lunches and $15 dinners that include dessert. I've eaten their twice this month and both times the experience was very good. I like the Colorado feel. The bison burgers and steaks are a real treat and only a couple bucks more than the standard beef versions. The onion rings are killer! and the newly added artichoke and spinach dip appetizer is big enough to feed 4 -5 people. Ted's is casual so need to dress up. Try the apple crisp for 2 as your dessert its excellent.

Now, I went to Ted's Montana Grill last week (5/20 around 1pm) and the food was very good. I got the Mushroom swiss bison burger and it was very well made w/ really good, crispy fries. The service was also very good... or so I thought. The reason why I'm giving this review only 1 star is because when I checked my credit card bill a few days later, the waitress (Katherine) had added herself a $8.00 tip, even though I clearly wrote $4.41 on the bill (it was for a $22.59 after-tax check, so $4.41 is quite generous). I keep all my receipts, so when I made the comparison, I was outraged. KATHERINE (or Kathy as you write on the receipt), if you want a 35% tip, then WORK FOR IT. Now, I understand that $3.59 is not that much money. But the fact of the matter is YOU DON'T DO THAT SHIT. So, I recommend that everybody keep their receipts and check their credit card bills (especially if you get Katherine as a server), because who knows how many unsuspecting customers this has happened to. Un-fuckin-believable.

I have a good friend who is allergic to just about everything, and this is the only place she can have dinner with me. So we go there fairly often. They always cater to her needs with a smile on their happy faces, and she's always happy with them. Me? I'm not allergic to anything and I have an iron stomach. I love spicy and interesting foods. Nothing at Ted's is particularly interesting, and nothing is spicy. But it has always been good. I'm a big fan of their side dishes, and I always have a hard time deciding on which ones to order. I usually get the chicken or the meatloaf, and I've enjoyed every side dish I've ordered. I should just order the sides and leave it at that. They serve pickles as a little snack while you wait, much like other restaurants serve bread or chips and salsa. They're very good. But it's not all good there. I like a fountain drink with my dinner and they serve paper straws. Those things make my blood curdle for some reason -- I can't even put one near my mouth without cringing. So I don't use a straw, instead opting to argue with the ice. It's a steak place, primarily, but beware of the steak salad. Yes, you might be expecting a big salad with lots of different veggies all topped with strips of choice beef or bison. But that's not what you get. You get a ground beef or ground bison patty on top of your salad. They plop a hot hamburger on top of your chilled salad so all of the cheese can melt to the bottom of it. Don't bother ordering a salad with steak strips because it will cost you a fortune. The atmosphere is cozy and the bar is also a nice place to hang out. But they really cater to big parties and families so there have been screaming kids in there about half of the time I've been there. Of course, if you have kids that's a plus. Their burgers are also good, but they aren't greasy enough for me. Everything is very mellow, like every dish is trying not to offend anyone. In the end, I'm pretty bored with the place and its food. The servers also seem bored. But if you're up for a mellow place to chat with a friend, this is it.

Cold beer, cold glasses and hot burgers! If you like peppers I recommend the Spikebox. I order it with a little pink inside, sautéd onion and extra "grilled" jalapenos. The one I had today was the best bison burger I have eaten to date. I sweat my butt off but I always say "If I'm not sweating, it ain't hot enough"! I have not tried the steaks or other entrees here, but why when the burgers are SO good!

Chain? Yup! On the other hand, far better than big chains, Ted's was recommended to me as the place for burgers in the area, and I am so glad I went. Delicious juicy bison burger - a bit pricey at $14, but worth every penny as it turned out. Yes, all the fake western memorabilia/environment can grate, but the food made that bearable.

Ted's Montana was one of the only places near Broomfield that was open that night and when we walked in, we were the only people in the entire restaurant. The host and staff were gracious though and made us feel right at home with attentive water refills and check-ups. We both wanted to try the Bison burgers and they were juicy and well prepared at the desired done-ness. I love Anaheim chiles on my burgers and this one was soft and added a nice sweet & spicy kick. Overall, good flavors and thick steak cut fries complemented by two lemonades. Wouldn't mind stopping in if I ever needed a consistent burger and good service.

Ted's gets 5 stars for having consistently good food and service. They also havers refreshingly robust commitment to earth-friendly business practices. They have so many traditional American dishes yet manage to serve them with enough flare / creativity that they're never boring! The prices have always been reasonable for what you get, too.

I have to say that Ted's Montana Grill exceeded my expectations. Although I had driven past this place many times, I had no knowledge of this restaurant before coming here for a work dinner about two months ago. Very cool, darker steakhouse-style atmosphere. There were only a few other diners that night, so I can not state whether the service would be as responsive on a busier evening. Prices were reasonable, lower 20s up to mid 30s for different steaks and cuts. Probably close to Outback prices for a comparison. I opted for the Bison fillet paired with mash potatoes. It was delicious. Lean, perfect medium rare cut. My martini was also made properly, and those three items combined are a guaranteed excellent evening. If you feel like having a quality steak, and you are unfortunate enough to be stuck in Westminster, check out Ted's Montana Grill.

Outside it has that, "I'm a chain restaurant" kind of look. I had never seen a Ted's Montana Grill before, but yeah, I knew it was a chain right away. It has that "Outback Steakhouse" kind of architecture that tries a little too hard. Inside, however, there are some pleasant touches. It doesn't hit you over the head with "party restaurant" music and noises; in fact, it's rather calm inside. No muzac to annoy you, calm staff, and quality fixtures. But the food is what makes Ted's good. The food is genuinely fresh, high-quality, and well-prepared. I had a buffalo burger with some onion rings and a beer. It's nothing special, but it doesn't try to be anything it isn't. It's just a great place for a meal and a brew.

I have eaten at Ted's several times and can honestly say that for the price, you get an excellent burger and service. Nothing special just good food above par of most others.

We went to Ted's a year and a half ago for our anniversary. We loved it. A HUGE baked potato, a beer can chicken and my husband LOVED the meatloaf. We decided this evening was a special occasion and we treated ourselves...we thought. Firstly, we sat at the bar and waited for a coveted booth. The place was busy..which we saw as a good sign. My beer was served in a bottle...next to a cloudy, dirty, disgusting beer glass, by a less than attentive bar tender. I decided to drink my libation out of the bottle. We were called to our booth. I was SO excited. Especially for the huge baked potato loaded with everything ! We ordered a few more beers, and then our entrees. The beer came...again. In DIRTY glasses. Then I was informed that the beer can chicken was 86'ed. Okay, I ordered the brick chicken with Monterrey jack and avocado. And the coveted potato. What I got was a TINY baked potato, and chicken that looked like the chicken that they might serve on a BAD day at Wendy's. Really. At 15 dollars, you expect something better than fast food quality fare. The broccoli side was steamed had NO BUTTER on it as the menu claimed. The roll tasted worse than a roll that you get in a little tin tray that you can buy for a dollar at the market before Thanksgiving. My husband discovered that the bottom of my plate was covered in goo...we asked to speak to the manager. He pretty much gave excuses for everything and did not make amends for the cruddy food or the dirty dishes. We tipped our waitperson well, and vowing to never return. Which is sad after thinking that a year and a half ago, this was a special place that we would visit on occasions. I can cook better at home. I would only possibly send my teenagers here as a punishment. I am sure they would rather have a correctly baked frozen pizza than the crud offered here now. The manager claimed the broccoli was drenched in butter. He was delusional. Sorry people...Teds has lowered themselves. Do not eat here.

I love this place - sometimes the service is a little iffy, but the food is ALWAYS good. (When it is on the menu, the Mango Sangria is worth a try ... but prepare yourself to want a second serving.)

Since my wife is a vegetarian, I usually only go to Ted's when she's out of town. Of the three times I've been by myself, I was earlier than the evening rush and the service was extremely fast. I seem to recall getting my prime rib meals in under 10 minutes each time. This past weekend, I went there with my inlaws and had poor service. It took our waiter a really long time to attend to us and our food took about 30 minutes. The place was winding down around this time and during our wait, he didn't stop by to reassure us or even ask about our drinks. The service aside, the food is always good. Yes it's a little more expensive than other chains, but I think it's worth it. The prime rib is awesome and I've also had good burgers and the pork platter. While it's not on the menu, they do have a vegerian burger. According to my wife it's nothing special, but there is that option for vegetarians beyond the "make a meal out of sides" option.

Excellent meal. I had the Kansas City cut Bison with roasted asparagus and Parmesan crusted broccoli. Seating was quick, and the hostess was very personable. The waitress took my drink order quickly and gave me a reasonable amount of time with the menu to decide what to order. They brought some homemade pickled cucumbers with my drink, which were very tasty. A nice change from the bread put out by most steakhouses. I started my meal with a nice Caesar salad that was served cold and was very fresh. A nice mix of greens with a subtle amount of dressing. The croutons were very good. The Bison was very good, probably one of the best steaks I have had in a while, perfectly cooked medium rare and very tender. The sides consisted of asparagus and broccoli, which, while not excellent were very good. The service was excellent. I never saw the bottom of my iced tea, and the waitress was quite attentive while not being annoying. Overall one of the first 5 star meals that I have had in quite a while. Well done!

I am pleased to report that the regional manager for Ted's Montana Grill called us back. The manager sent us some gift certificates to use and apologize for the horrible experience at the Westminster location. So for that they get three stars until we return. We really appreciate the call back.

This restaurant was good. The food was hot and very well prepared. The service was quick and friendly the only thing was that we were served with dirty silverware. There was left over encrusted food on it.ok I'm not one fly off the handle about small trivialities but that was disgusting.

When in the greater Denver area, I try to eat here. Where else can you get Bison steaks (more flavor than beef, with less fat, therefore healthier). Staff is very friendly too.

Ted's Filet, the Bison version is easily one of the top 5 steaks I've ever had. Friendly staff and manager. Bartender made a killer dirty martini.

From the moment we walked in the door..nothing but amazing service. We were seated immediately and our server, Chris, came over to catch our drink order. He gladly offered up some of his favorites from the menu. None of which disappointed at all. The Bison Avalon burger was delish and the bison short ribs were spectacular! We also enjoyed alcohol drinks that were mixed to perfection. We will definitely be back for more amazing food. This place is not anywhere near Applebee's type of food. This is a huge step up from there....even would go as far as to say....a whole 'nother city. We loved everything we had...and will not forget to finish it all off again with an apple crisp next time we stop in...yum! Thanks for making us feel like we had a home cooked meal without all of the work or clean up. See you soon!

My wife likes this place so I reluctantly take her there. The food is okay a small step up from Applebee's / a small step. But $9 bucks for a bourbon and ginger ale comon. Burgers are OK if you send back the overcooked first one served .I'll probably go again just to appease her.But reluctantly!!!!!!!!!

CO is the home of the hamburger, you find them ovunque..ma that of Ted's Montana Grill is certainly among the best! There are different, we tried the one in Madison Square Park, where the quality of food you agginge the beautiful atmosphere with outdoor seating in the middle of the park and around illuminated skyscrapers. The burgers are really ottimi..purtroppo very often you will find yourself in front of a long queue, but the service is fast and very organized !! Certainly one of the best memories of CO !!

Mmmm... bison, sours, and rolls Ted's is a fave of my wife and I. Wish they had one in Phoenix, but we have to hit it on trips since they aren't here, yet. Loves: The old-time brass and wood design; the sours (half-pickled cucumbers), the rolls, prime rib, anything bison, and their fish are all excellent; and even the Borax soap in the bathroom kicks it into cool . Service is excellent most of the time. Can be a bit of a wait if you arrive on a whim, though.

Have eaten here numerous times. The pickle /cucumber appetizer is hit or miss. If you get them when they are crispy then you lucked out. They have a pretty extensive selection of burgers which you can get in beef, chicken, or bison. The green and hot is always solid with pepper jack, guacamole, jalapeños, and chipotle ranch. They also have a couple options with a fried egg if that is your thing. Steaks will run you around $25, they are decent but not sure I would say comparable to authentic steak houses. A major knock against this place is NO Happy Hour, and well, that makes me sad. Nothing says unhappy like a $5 coors light. I would recommend at least trying this place once, even if it is to get the bison and discover that it really really tastes like beef.

I took a friend here for a birthday dinner and it was a good meal. She came for the burgers and they didn't disappoint albeit a little pricey compared to other burger places. The service is super friendly but there are large gaps between seeing the servers who must have 10 tables each. Still, you can see they're hard working and are so friendly when they get to you. On a birthday meal, they throw in a free cookie with ice cream but we also opted for the strawberry shortcake. All and all - a good meal with good service. No major complaints.

  • Vernon J.

stopped by today around 4pm with my wife and son for some of the best, if not THE best hand made strawberry shortcake ever. the place was pretty quiet. the bartender Chris greeted us immediately and got us a table. he brought us a monkey dish of house made pickles, at which point we ordered the strawberry shortcake. he made it and brought it within what seemed like only a few minutes, and as expected, it was amazing. he came back to check on us at which point I told him it was my birthday. we finished the dessert , he came back and told me that he took care of the dessert and to have a happy birthday. kudos to you Chris for being awesome! I'll definitely be back with my wife for drinks at your bar.

We met friends at Ted's on the way to a show in Denver. We had a wonderful meal and attentive service. The Bison Short Ribs were excellent! We mentioned that we needed to be aware of the time to make it to the show and our server was prompt with everything. We even had time for a coffee before we left. Food and Service were top notch. The facility, was clean but looked like it has been a while since it has been updated.

My wife and I are new to the Denver area and we quickly found Ted's near our corp. housing. Bottom line is that the food is amazing and it has been a great dining experience everytime. The only reason I did not rate them a 5 is that on our last visit, my wife who has never had a desire or willingness to try bison was served a bison steak without our knowledge until the bill came. Once it was brought to the servers attention as I assumed it was just a error on the bill, he advised that she was served a bison steak in error. The more bothersome part is that there wasn't an apology or offer to adjust the bill to coincide with what we ordered. Instead, we were charged for the incorrect order. To managements credit, my wife emailed them the next day and they quickly responded and offered not only to take care of the situation but also displayed a clear desire to not only ensure our satisfaction but also wanted to ensure that they pursue the coaching opportunity with the server. We will continue to make our weekly visits to Ted as not only do we enjoy their food but we also respect the ethics they displayed in reaction to our situation.

Overall...honestly I wasn't really impressed. Pros: The service was great. Erinn did a fabulous job. We didn't wait on anything. We saw the tip on Yelp about getting free rolls and she happily delivered. The lemonade is very yummy. Booths are comfy. The ehh: Burgers were ok. Just tasted like cooked meat with toppings. You might say, what did you expect??? Well, I was at the Cherry Cricket recently and this burgers would have been amazing without anything besides the meat. They were seasoned. I definitely can't say that for Ted's. Kids mac n cheese was cool because it wasn't loaded with fake powdered cheese, but it had hardly any cheese at all. So while it isn't powdered, it is basically non existent. Anyhow, I'll be back for steak :)

My partner and I went last week because he was in the mood for a steak. He had never been to this location and I had never even heard of the restaurant. From the moment we walked in the door, we were impressed. The decor and ambiance is chill but still somehow elegant. Our server was delightful and helped me navigate the menu (I don't eat burgers, which is half the fare) and helped my partner find a suitable replacement since they ran out of prime rib (it was 7pm on a Friday night, but she assured us it was rare for them to run out of it.) The food was fantastic, our server was attentive, we had no complaints. They even cooked his steak perfectly, which is apparently quite difficult given our experience at other places. (But that's a negative review about Longhorn that can be dealt with elsewhere.) The restaurant was very clean, even the bathrooms, even though they were really busy that night. It was clear that they put a great deal of effort into making a good experience for their clientele. The hostess even remembered my partner's comments when we had first arrived and followed up on them as we were leaving, over an hour later! Every single employee that we glanced at made eye contact and wished us a great evening on the way out, even the cooks and bartender. We will definitely be coming back!

New Years Eve was my first visit and I had the roasted chicken. The second night I'm even enjoying it more the cranberry glaze is amazing. The broccoli is great. I am so impressed I will order it to go. All this and we got there at 8:30 and the kitchen was slammed, still the food n wait staff were superb. Pat

When I'm craving a burger and a stiff drink- I come to Teds. I love that they give you pickles instead of bread. If your not in the mood for a burger, try the bison nachos. They are always really busy, so get there early!

If you are in the mood for very mediocre vegitables that are served cold, swimming in oil and want to sit in a booth with old food crusted on the curtains and light fixture this is the place for you. If you enjoy spending $100 (including tip) for average service and noisy atmosphere along with the previously mentioned culinary delights than I would definately reccommend. Two stars instead of one because the Bison here is really good. I either have a poor memory or this place used to be a whole lot better than in recent visits. This will be the last.

Ted's Montana grill seems to suffer from an identity crisis. From the moment you step into the buffalo (musk) scented entrance you get the feeling that Ted's is juxtaposed somewhere between a high-end steakhouse and a Montana hunting lodge. While the food and service are not bad, the portions seem ungenerous and the prices way too high to justify either high-end indulgence or rustic comfort. For our meal we started with homemade chips and dip. I had the bison meatloaf with mashed potatoes and "Aunt Fannie's" squash casserole. The squash casserole was very good, probably the best item of the meal. I tasted the roasted cranberry chicken, beef short ribs and pot roast. Overall I would say the entrees weren't bad, but I've made better bison meatloaf and I've also eaten better bison meatloaf at "lower end" places like Murphy's Grill in Boulder. The desserts were large. The seasonal special strawberry shortcake was very delicious. Brownie and cookie somewhat disappointing.

Teds has a tasty burger but seems a bit more pricey than it should be. I have tried their steaks as well and simply didn't stand out as special. So yes decent food but not the value I would expect.

I love Teds. Bison burgers are really the best. Too all you folks rating low, you really have no class.

We waited for over 40 minutes for our food... and that was after we had ordered. We asked if the kitchen was backed up when our food was finally coming out. The waitress said "Yes! Sorry for the really long wait." Um, how about at least taking the lemonade off our bill, which was insanely overpriced at over $3. The food tasted pretty good when it finally arrived, but the timing and service were not worth a return visit. I do not recommend this location.

The food took an hour to come out with no explanation. My filet, ordered medium--done to a rubber state. Husband's hamburger, ordered medium-rare--no pink at all. What is this place, Red Robin? He praised the fries and the onion rings though. My friends fries--soggy and her limp asparagus was the saddest thing I'd ever seen. An extra star for not messing up modifications to my baked potato.

The restaurant is just ok. One more ok chain restaurant to the list. I had a bison hamburger that was just ok. No big deal... X I had better hamburgers elsewhere. The bison meat flavor in a hamburger is barely noticeable.

The food and service was excellent. Our server Chris was attentive and speedy. We ate outside in the patio. We had the patio to ourselves. I had the blue creek burger. It was great. I highly recommend this place to eat.

Disappointed! I went to Ted's tonight for dinner with some family members who are in town for the weekend. I ordered the same burger that I got my previous visit: the New Mexico bison burger. I ordered it without cheese and it came with cheese melted all over it. Rather than wait for another one to be prepared while everyone else ate their burgers, I just scraped off the cheese. It came off fairly easily but the issue is it shouldn't have been on it in the first place. The last time I ordered the burger it came with a nice big piece of roasted pepper on it which covered the entire burger. This time it came with just a thin slice of pepper which covered about 1/3rd of the burger at the most. There were 5 of us but only 4 silverware settings were on the table. I had to go across the room to contact a different server just to get a fifth silverware set as our server disappeared. The server was nice, I think she may have been new, but the service was mediocre. I really do not see any reason to go back to Ted's. I understand it is a chain restaurant but still, if a restaurant cannot provide "Yay! I'm a fan!" quality food/service on a regular basis then there is really no need to spend money at that restaurant.

Over an hour for take out when I'm told 15-20 minutes. I know it's busy, but come on.

I love the Bradburn neighborhood, and I like a lot about Ted's: comfy and private booths, old school feel, powder soap in the bathroom, paper straws, and, of course, the pickles. But what I used to love about Ted's was that they served their crispy cold salads in a chilled bowl and it was a struggle to finish! Well, the size of the salad has shrunk, but what was more disappointing was that the salad arrived in a room temperature bowl, and on the outside of the bowl, I could feel dried remnants of lots of handling (last visit, there was lipstick on my wine glass). While the dressing still tasted home made and delicious, there just seemed to be a lot less of everything else that used to be included (and too much of what shouldn't be included). We typically choose Ted's because it's close to home, the french fries and onion rings are among the best and the wait time is reasonable for this level of dining experience. In fact, in the past, I can recall many times we were told that the wait was 20 minutes, and by the time my wine appeared at the bar, the table was ready. Exceeding expectations. Nice. This time, the bar was full and so were the benches, so we chalk that up to an improving economy and wait for what we were told would be 40 minutes. And it was about 40 minutes. Then we were seated at the worst table, where other waiting diners decided to sit on the extra chairs behind our table, and it felt like they were sitting at our table. If you go to Ted's, ask for a booth and wait for a booth -- it will be all the difference in your dining experience. I wouldn't recommend waiting for longer than 15 or 20 minutes -- just not worth it, but the food is good, the service is usually good to very good and, in an area lacking for places to dine, it usually is a decent experience.

Kids were on their own, so the wife and I decided to try out Ted's tonight. Arrive at shortly after 6:00 PM (Saturday night) and were seated right away - which was a nice surprise. Our server (I believe her name was Erin?) was outstanding. Took our beverage order (wife had wine, I had diet Coke) - which we got in just a few minutes. She came back and got our dinner order (my wife is Gluten Free) and the food arrived in about 15 minutes. (By the way - I have read some people comment on the thick "cardboard" straws - I was told they are bio-degradable in a short amount of time - that is why they use them. They are actually quite expensive.) My prime rib was excellent, as was the garlic mashed potatoes and carrots I had. The quantity of soup (Clam Chowder - a bowl, not a cup) was pretty skimpy for $6.00, but the rest was almost more than I could eat. My wife had a burger (beef) and substituted her fries for broccoli. Both were excellent. We were there for about an hour and 15 minutes, and heard on the way out that the wait was about 25 minutes at that point.... I recommend it. A little on the pricy side, but the food is excellent, and we left full!

Getting a booth provides a nice intimate atmosphere and they are Eco friendly , however the food was not great , the wait was a tad too long , and the prices were a little high for the food. Over all I won't return because it didn't stand out to me. However, if you want bison and weird cardboard straws and a long wait - this place is for you.

I'm not a big bison person but their beef steaks are good too. It's hard to get a bad steak here.

My sister and I decided to try this place out after driving by it every day... I wasn't' sure what to expect as it never really look super busy as I would drive by. We decided to eat outside as it was beautiful out. The place has a rustic, western look and feel to it. I swear as we were sitting out there listening to the music, i could envision a man on a old style piano busting out tunes and singing... where I normally don't care for the old school, western, seemingly show tune type music, i didn't bother me this time... as it fit the surroundings. I did notice a stead stream of people coming in to have dinner, so my perception of it not being busy was quickly overturned. We were greeted by a server with a plate of pickles. Interesting. Rum and Coke for me, and a Strawberry Margarita for my sister. We ordered homemade chips and dips to start. I took one sip of my drink and swore she must have her.. rum..straight up. WOW!! I had to order a coke so that I can divide up that rum... so i ended up with two drinks in my opinion. Chips and dip where good. Then I ordered a steak, and my sister ordered the Red Rock (or something) burger. I KNOW, I KNOW that the point is to have bison... but I can't help myself,... not ready to try it. My sister said that it was the BEST burger she ever had in her life. I quite enjoyed my steak. All and all, really enjoyed sitting outside on a beautiful night, having a great meal....... Will come back again.....

Beef. Ground in-House. Buffalo. On the Wall. (And Ground in-House) Some darn good burgers come off the line at Ted's. And Pickles. Real, Bright-Green, New York Style Pickles. Ted's reminds me so much of NYC. The food remains consistent between the 2 locations that I've gone to, but the service at this location just isn't as genuine and attentive as the other location I've been to. Our drinks went un-refilled for awhile, and there just wasn't that extra interest I've noticed at the Littleton one. Food's still good, though, and this one is close to home, so I'm sure I'll be back. I can't wait to try that Buffalo Meatloaf...

Love me a Great Bison Burger and Ted's has the best. Our bartender wasn't shy when he made my bloody mary- just as good and the meal. Wedge salads are also good. A little on the pricey side but worth it. Great service is just a plus!

Even though its a chain restaurant it's not giving you that feeling. I was impressed with the steak since its a steak house and I would recommend the buffalo.
