The foods and drinks here are really really good. They use a batter dip on their wings and fish n chips. I like that. I have never had a bad meal at this place. The drinks are also really good. I got a key lime pie martini and it was delicious. That being said every time I've been here the service has been really weird. I come here alot late at night and you can forget about getting service at a booth. We always have to move up to the front where we can actually get some service. Fish and chips very overcooked, most of the rest of the food was disappointing. Very slow for how busy they were 1 hour wait for food. Manager nice, server rushed.

The fox and the hound is a great place to enjoy sports, food, and beer. It's everything you could ask for in a bar. The bar tenders can make any drink you throw at them. All around a good experience.

GET SECTIONS!!!!!!!!!! Service was TERRIBLE!!!! I myself am in the industry, but OH MY GOD. I would be fired for service like this! Those girls are stressed out, we saw a girl balling because she was being screamed at by people because nothing was fast enough, she had tables ALL OVER THE PLACE. WTH?! NO restaurant runs like that! It is impossible for those girls to be in 15 places at once with table tops of 10+ people on event nights. GET IT TOGETHER. I have never seen anything like this. It is a zoo. They have enough people working there to get things running right. I won't ever go back to this location. The management just act like its "okay" for everyone to wait and 1 girl handeling more than 3 10+ top tables just in ONE section alone wasn't working out. COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND our food was cold and we waited 35 minutes just to order. Ridiculous.

Wow, service so bad I actually walked out. After waiting 15 min just to get a menu, I waited another 10 for someone to take an order from me. I was lucky to even get water I guess. No idea how the food is, I left despite having a free birthday meal on my All Star card and went to Chick Fil A instead. What a waste of time.

We enjoy coming and watching UFC fights here. Food is okay, we have not had any issues with service but it does get REALLY BUSY when they show fights (we just plan in advance for this). It's casual, it's clean, it's close to home.

I give this rating solely on the cocktail waitress I had last night. Once I said gluten free, she made sure to educate what I could eat. When I decided to choose a burger with no bun... to my surprise it came out wrapped in lettuce! Thrilled that she took the time to inform the cook of my eating restrictions.

Great food, awesome drinks, fun atmosphere. The staff is attentive and fun to be around. There is one main room and 2 huge side rooms filled with pool tables and big screen TVs. New menu has some great items. Awesome place to host a party.

Service is mediocre. We asked for 2 orders of six wings in two different sauces. She brought us 2 orders of 12 wings (which is expensive at $13 each!). My margarita was aweful (too much sweet n sour or lime juice?) And had to ask it be remade. My friend's grilled cheese came 15 min after the rest of the order. Took forever to find our server (who smelled like cigarette smoke) to get the check and it had a drink we didn't order on our tab. Spent $80 (before tip) for two people on I don't know what. For that we could have gone to Japon for sushi around the corner!! The food is good and the TVs are great for gametime, but it's over priced and has poor service. We won't be back.

Extremely disappointed. My wife, friends as well as other trivia players used to come here twice a week a couple years ago. Service could be hit or miss but usually if you sat at the bar it was mostly great. Today at 2:00 pm my wife and I stopped in because we received a buy one get one free entree coupon. She looked over the menu and ordered a Sprite and chicken skewers. I order a beer and the tequila Mahi after waiting 35 minutes and my wife sitting there for almost 10 minutes with no refill and not even being acknowledged, (Bare in mind there was only one other person at the bar having nachos) we decided either there was a problem or they didn't care. I think the latter. I paid for our drinks and decided to leave. As I looked back at the bartender she had he most bored expression on her face. She never said a word as we walked out the door. We won't bother driving the eight miles to eat here ever again. I should have known by the recent reviews and the lack of business on what should have been a busy weekend for them. Now I know why the place was virtually empty despite their offer of buy one get one. In addition they no longer have Buzztime Trivia/Poker. How long before the list of unemployed grows? Not long by my estimate.

The food is not anything special but it is good tasty bar food. I come here for the fun bartenders, playing pool and the cold beer. They have the best pool tables in the area.

This isn't exactly my kind of restaurant, but it's close to my house and offers a fun and friendly Texas Holden game on Thursdays where you can win free gift cards to fox and hound, an hour of free pool etc. The turnout is always pretty decent around 30 people and it's a good time. Their service is lackluster at best, though it's not really the servers' faults as they are usually overwhelmed. If you want to sharpen your poker skills before hitting the real money tables, this is the place on Thursday nights.

If you could give a negative star I would. Terrible service. Took 10 minutes to even get someone to notice me. The place was dead with staff standing around. Then after waiting for 20 minutes for my beer and water. I had to get up and find my waitress, only to learn they are out of miller lite. They couldn't walk to my table to let me know so I could order something else. I jus walked out at that point. Didn't try to make it up or say sorry. Called the manager to complain and got much of the same. Didn't care. Its sad because this place could be so good, if not for the terrible service.

Terrible service, my wife and I were invited to a birthday party. We walk in meet and greet and we both go to bother bar for some drinks. Waiting there for a while and we can see the bartender talking with her friends and finally she decided to come and she asked us all do you want anything to drink and me being a smart ass like no we just like standing here admiring the bar and then she goes okay and walks away I'm like ok. Finally someone comes and gets our drinks a beer and a margarita $15.00 WTF. Really for a this is ridiculous just a regular beer and a regular margarita. These are downtown prices not suburb.

Let's start with the good. Cheese fries, and if your a member of the all star club you can get a tall for the price of a short, they have billiards tables and a good selection of beer. The bad, good luck ordering food unless you are at the bar. No one here can make a mixed drink to save their life and talk about rude staff. I'd skip this place unless need a drink on a Sunday and don't really want to wait.

Great list of beers on tap and awesome place to watch football. Also seems like a fun place to hang out at night. That all being said they really need to step their food up. The Steak Salad was awful! I can get a better salad at Panera Bread which is not a good thing. Piece of advice, don't use the crappy bag iceberg salad mix for a base for anything in a restaurant. The steak was overcooked and under marinated. Pretty much typical bar food. They can fry food and that's about it.
(3)
Antonio D.
Some of the worst service I've ever had! The wait staff just stands around talking to each other. The bartenders do a pretty good job but they don't know how to make cocktails they can pour beer and they're pretty attentive about it at least. The food is pretty good for the price, but the service is so bad you might be waiting for a while to get it. Tuesday is the best night to go because the drinks are only $2 so even though the service sucks at least you're not paying for a whole lot.

Went back there to watch another game and the place was fairly empty except for a table with two families and me and my son (in the main room). The bartender said "Fu*#" so many times....so loud and unprofessional that we got up and left. That place is not worth my money.

Having been here about 4 times per month for about 9 months, here was a very typical experience: Walk in to meet some friends, sit down. Wait. Look around and see almost no other customers around. Wait. See the waiter or waitress that was working that section walk through. Wait. See the waiter or waitress walk by again without acknowledging me. Wait. Seriously. 20+ minutes. Finally either track down another waitress or go to the bar and get my own drink (the best times were when I would see the waiter/waitress sitting and chatting with other customers rather than taking care of us). If I got my own drink, rinse & repeat for the rest of the evening. Food is dive bar quality food, not "restaurant that happens to have a bar also" type of food that it should be. "Bartenders" do not know how to make a cocktail as simple as a mai tai without looking it up. Cocktails are consistently under-poured because the "bartenders" are required to pour from a 1.25 ounce jigger which they hold in their hand while pouring which means they cannot top it off properly to get a full pour and they are not allowed to spill pour from the jigger. I will admit to having a little inside information having patronized this establishment on a regular basis for a while and, after running into some issues, having spoken to both the (former) general manager and the district manager. Until several months ago the service here was pretty bad. I was able to find a few waitresses that were happy to help me and I tipped quite well. They consistently lost their best people and then the service became absolutely abysmal aside from a couple of waitresses and it was a crap shoot as to whether they would be working when I was there. One of the biggest problems is that, while this place is pretty nice, their typical customer is a 20-something male that spends maybe $15 on a pitcher of light beer. Then they tip $1 or $2. The waitresses cannot make money like that so they leave for better opportunities. I spoke to the district & general managers about this and they both were very enthusiastic about trying to make things better. Then, recently, the general manager left due to being overworked and they fired the ONLY actual bartender they had (the rest are glorified beer pourers that can make an anything & Coke). I finally gave up and will not return.

I am impressed with their pool tables. The food is good and the portions are satisfying The wine is spectacular. And the staff is quite amazing. It's a little out of my price range but I would go again if just to play on their pool tables.

This would be a really good place to hang out and get some food if you can get some service The music was very loud in the bar area but I like how it was quiet enough to have a conversation in the pool and game rooms. I went there initially to get some food but was excited to play some pool once I saw it. Unfortunately I didn't get that chance. A sign that saids "please seat yourself" greets you at the door. I wait to get served and no luck. Finally I go up to the bar and ask if I had to order food there. She told me the server on the floor is suppose to serve me. I told a server walking by that we had seated ourselves in the back corner. We waited and waited. Finally we just left and went to another place. In short, it looks like a place I would really like to experience but the service or in this case the lack of service is terrible! No one wanted to serve us! I was astonished..

Omg here for the game and it's awful. Way way way too loud? What? I can't hear family sitting right next to me. It's freezing in here and the good came out almost as cold. We all agree we won't be back

When we go out, we always ask for the beer specials, so this time we saw the sign as we walked in. Yay, Stella for $3. So, we went in and the bartender said there were no specials for the day, said it was yesterdays. Well, looked in the menu, and there it was $3 Stella till 7 p.m. So, asked for the manager, and Rich, came out and totally apologized and took care of us. Said the wait staff was not up on the new happy hour menu yet. Customer Recovery happened. A good manager resolved it, and then, he was so pleasant and talked to us for awhile. Above and beyond service. We will go back, because he was a wonderful manager. They have a nice selection of taps of local crafts. A beer ranges around $5.

Great place. I love the wings here. Probably my favorite wings but they've taken a few of my other favorite items off the menu so thats going to bring the stars down a little. Service is good at the bar but once you start getting into the dinning room it can be hit or miss.

This place is terrible. The service is horrid. My friend and I went in and weren't greeted at all. The staff completely ignored us, and they weren't even busy. We waved one down, and she said "this isn't my table section, but I'll grab your waitress" very rudly. She never did, because no one came 20 minutes later. We ended up going to the bar ourselves to order drinks. Our waitress even looked me straight in the eye and I waved my hand and she didn't come over. So i, physically, grabbed her by the arm and pulled her over and she said "oh, i though you guys went to the bar and served yourselves". What a effin moron. She ended up giving me half price. She knew if she didn't pull a quick one, she would get no tip. The wings were okay. NOT GREAT. CD's Wings is much better. The atmosphere is okay. I give it one star, because of how retarted the staff is. Good place for guys. Pretty girls who are dumb as fudge with lots of TVs around.

Went with a buddy to have a couple drinks here. I was disapointed with their selections of " fine liquors". Not to mention the prices--they charge you as if you're at a 5 star hotel bar --without the 5 stars or hotel. When we were sitting there chatting the waitresses and bartender acted like they were in highschool. Im well aware everyone drinking is going to act up but this was boderline-ridiculous. My friend and I went outside so he could smoke and we came back inside and asked for the bill. She rang up the bill and handed him the slip. He very politely asked for his card. We continued to chat a few mins assuming she's ringing him up so we can leave. She didnt even close out his tab. She's so distracted singing and dancing around she either didnt hear correct or she didnt care. We seemed to just stand there looking stupid for mins while she got her act together. Overall, just not that worth it. Plenty of other places to choose from.

I recently moved and had been trying to find a nice place to relax and have a beer. I found the Fox and Hound and immediately felt at ease there. This is my new favorite bar! This place is very clean with nice tables, lots of TV's, numerous pool tables, dart boards, and a great staff. The waitresses and bartenders are extremely nice and friendly. The food is pretty good although I am a vegetarian therefore my review on food is limited. This place is not very busy some nights but it continues to have a nice atmosphere.

The environment isn't bad, but the food was inedible, I couldn't take one bite of the nachos because they were overly salted, barely any cheese, we ordered hot wings and got these boneless hot wings that tasted worse than McDonald's nuggets. The service was so slow, but I think the bartender didn't know what she was doing. I cannot recommend this place.

Tried this place with a Groupon. Thank God we didn't have to pay full price! Like many others said, the service is slooooowwww. Our food took more than 30 mins to arrive and my boyfriend's medium rare burger was mooing at him! When he showed it to waitress she said she'd have them make another and he said "if they could throw a few more fries in for the inconvenience that would be great" (they barely gave any to begin with), she said "I will ask". When she came back (quite a while later), there was a burger on a plate.. no fries. I asked, "So they said no to the fries?" she said "I guess so.. ". I said "that's pathetic" and it is. My salad was fine, but the BBQ Chicken flat bread was disappointing. Not much flavor and way too little sauce. We won't be back.

I come here on Saturdays and Sundays to watch football because it is close to my house, the prices are reasonable, and they play the audio for my games. The food has also proven to be pretty good. That being said, service is seriously lacking at this place. Unfocused, distracted, unenthused, lackadaisical. Funny that management walks around with radios and earpieces- but seems to be completely clueless as to what is going on.

No thanks. And FYI, "Smokehouse" does not mean that they have delicious smoked meats. It means that they used to be a cigar bar. They should change their name. I ordered the fish & chips. My fish was unevenly cooked (part of the breading was white while other parts were dark brown) and the fries were blah. I don't even remember what my bf ordered because it was so forgettable. Oh, and our waitress was obviously sick - phlem-y cough and raspy voice - yet she insisted on leaning over our food, while thrusting her cleavage towards my bf every chance that she got. Gross on a few levels. This may be a good place for drinking or having a party (the place is huge and has pool tables). But it's not for a good dining experience.
Went here for a co workers bday. The reserved table came with use of a pool table. It was noisy but you could still hold a conversation. The server never forgot about us and kept our tabs separate. Cheesesteak and fries delicious. Plenty if TVs and a few video games. They have mouth wash in the bathroom to fight off dragon breath if your on a date.

so you looking for a place with cheap drinks and nothing less then great food and service? if so avoid fox and the hound! the last two times i have went there my bill was nucking futs and our food was ok.... 1 beer (during happy hour) 2 drinks (well even) and a sampler platter $59.63??? FML right? gave it a second chance to have drinks with a friend the other day 2 shots (vegas bombs) and 2 kryptonite margaritas (the only reason i have it a second star) $44.31??? so for crappy service, just ok food and to catch a no deal what so ever go to fox and the hound you will be more then pleased if this is what you look for! The margs we did order are about the size of my head so that was kind of cool

I've been to this place before. My brother occasionally enjoys a drink or two here as well as the food. Its in a good location, and we've not experienced it to be too crowded. We were here most recently on St. Patrick's Day. The place was not as hopping as we expected, but it was a weeknight. We were seated pretty quickly, and served immediately. Our waitress was great! Very funny, and took good care of us. However, the 3 stars come in for the quality of the food and drink. The green beer was dry before we even arrived, and apparently there was only 1 keg of said beer. Being that there is a Big Lots right next to F&H, I went over there and got our own food coloring to make our beer green. The "specials" on the Irish beer weren't really that special either. About $5.50 for a Harp or Guinness, which is a bit extreme. The other part of the 3 stars is the food. The food is pretty run of the mill pub food. Greasy, fatty, and a bit on the pricey side. On the plus, there was a bagpiper for part of the evening :-D This is a good neighborhood bar. Nothing too fancy, but also better than other places.

I've been to this location many times and the amount of fun I have seems to be dependent on the number of people in the place. See, the place is huge so when it's not full it has a really boring feel to it. And it takes a lot of people to fill the place. I haven't enjoyed any of the food, but luckily I don't usually go for the food. They have good beers on tap and lots of seats at the bar, which is a bonus. They also have a big trivia and game machine on the bar that I often end up feeding cash. The bartenders are usually friendly but efficiency goes out the window when it's busy. They have dart boards tucked way in the back, and that's what usually brings me to Fox and Hound. They are currently next to a basketball machine which kills the "playing darts at a British pub" vibe, though. They have really, really good pool tables. This is a great place to play good pool though the rates are a bit steep. You often have people walking by your table when it's busy, so that is kind of a pain. If there is a big game on they will kill the music and play the sound from the game, which is pretty cool if it's something you want to watch. Otherwise, the music is pretty deafening. It's usually pop or hip-hop and it's usually pretty current. They have a patio but the view isn't great so I haven't sat there. Oh, and there are usually a bunch of people smoking right outside the front door so you get to walk through that on your way in and out. They do have lots of free parking, but I still rarely end up here. It's usually just too boring.

This place was a nice surprise. I brought some friends here because another friend had suggested it as a good place to have dinner, so we went. First, let me say, their drink menu is incredible. They have pineapple upside down cake mixed drinks, how awesome is that? That pretty much makes them awesome in my book, but the food was spectacular as well.

We stop in here often since it is local and they have a great beer selection including both red and blue Chimay. Tuesday offers $2 pints all day long- we love that. Another plus is their fantastic pool tables with cues that are straight. At $9 an hour it's a bit pricey, but if you can get a HIP card (Hospitality Industry Person) this entitles you to half price pool and appetizers. I suppose we've made ourselves known, especially the one night I jumped up on on a table in the back to give the BF a private dance while he reclined in one of their cushy sofas. A manager was nice enough but still asked me to step down. Buzz killer. Another night my man and I were in vinyl before hitting the clubs and smooching a little. A female manager barked not so nicely, "If you don't behave I will have to ask you to leave." We were laughing hysterically at that. So I would have to say it is a bit uptight. One redeeming quality is bartender, Justin. He doesn't have a stick up his ass and always seems pleased to see extroverted people like ourselves. He takes care of us. I should also mention they have a decent menu and munchies. Chicken toothpicks are worthy along with their margarita pie. They also have dart boards in the back.

I haven't been to a bad restaurant in a long time. This one broke the streak. We ordered chips n salsa with queso......the chips were fine, the salsa was....well, I'll eat anyone's salsa.....the queso was luke warm....closer to cold. They must have taken it off of of some other plate (that wasn't nice but then how do you get luke warm/cold queso to a table that's only 20 steps from the kitchen? My chicken breast with some advertised bacon flavor was the blandest and plainest presentation on a plate with melted whipped butter? And broccoli pieces. Wow, $12.99. I'm guessing the breast cooked and then frozen and then reheated for my special order. My wife got some kinda fried enchilada buried under some kinda powdered white cheese. Her rice...to me....seemed ok when I tasted it but then I eat about anything especially when hungry. I think the kids burgers and fries were ok. The tv's also just didn't seem goo enough to watch. Champps is must better with the way the place theirs. Maybe this place is more for burgers and fries, beers and billiards.

Good appetizers, several pool tables, checkers, and lots of comfortable seating... the only drawback is that the service often sucks... the waitresses are slow to get to your table or they don't remember what you ordered.

While three stars might not seem like a glowing endorsement for a sports bar, let me explain. 1) Location - Broomfield... Enough said. 2) Crowd varies, but normally includes skanky looking chicks (bonus!), dedicated pool players, local douche bags, and regular Joes (not plumbers) grabbing a beer after work. 3) On Tuesday night, they have a ridiculous special on chicken wings, I think they are 25 or 33 cents a piece and damn good! You can get the wings in multiple flavors; recommend the garlic wings. 4) They also feature two dollar drafts for all beers. Cheap wings and 2 dollar beers! I have only been here on Tuesday, but overall I enjoy coming here. Solid wings, cheap beers, and in my experiences, pretty good looking women on the wait staff. As another reviewer mentioned, the space is quite large and good for large groups. If you are looking for a sports bar to watch a game, and unfortunately find yourself in Broomfield, give the Fox and Hound a shot.

Went on Monday night. Beers we're over priced in general, though the prices aren't listed and the waitstaff doesn't know them. Had fish and chips for about $10, 3 small pieces of fish in tasty batter on fries with coleslaw. I get errked when places don't pour full beers especially at premium prices. In fairness it's seems like a good place to play pool, darts, watch games and eat fried food.

Place is ok when the staff is not kicking you out for private parties. We were not able to shoot darts because a party apparently rented out the whole right side but only used one little section of it. Place is usually pretty quiet

I once ordered nachos from this place and cheese wasn't melted. Really, come on. I know the place was busy but raw nachos? How does a wait person even bring that to a table ... wft.

We used to go to the Fox and Hound all of the time, we played darts and enjoyed the however, like many places, over time the quality goes down, and the food was no longer the focus. We would go just for appetizers and beer and to play darts. That also lost our interest when they screwed down huge chunks of wood in front of the dart boards to indicate where to stand whilst throwing. (Yeah, so you can trip over them.) They have a great location, and I wish they would put more energy into making good food again. With the economy the way it is, why would someone eat out at a sub-par establishment?
(2)
Chris H.
I haven't even had the food yet, but we got here at 11:45, it's 12:15 now, there are only 4 other tables here for lunch and one waitress (with another behind the bar). So far the help and the food are slow as hell considering they put out a special lunch menu. There's lots of space to shoot pool, might be good for a happy hour if the help picks up the pace when the crowds come in.

When I decided to choose a burger with no bun... to my surprise it came out wrapped in lettuce! Thrilled that she took the time to inform the cook of my eating restrictions.

The wait staff is friendly. Good beer selection. Food is so-so. Service is so-so. Tolerably ok. Go for the big screens.
(3)Rhianna F.

(5)Peter H.

(1)Ascary M.
(1)Gene O.
(2)Tara A.
(3)Antonio D.
(2)Charlene T.

(4)Ken C.
(2)Ryan P.
Omg here for the game and it's awful. Way way way too loud? What? I can't hear family sitting right next to me. It's freezing in here and the good came out almost as cold. We all agree we won't be back
(1)Nancy F.
(4)Steven Z.
Great place. I love the wings here. Probably my favorite wings but they've taken a few of my other favorite items off the menu so thats going to bring the stars down a little. Service is good at the bar but once you start getting into the dinning room it can be hit or miss.
(3)Zichelle B.

(5)Dori L.
See Brian R. Review Below. Waited. Ditto. Looked around for server. Ditto. Got own beers at bar. Ditto. First time here. Might be last. Ditto.
(2)Jesse H.
(1)Donna N.
(2)Anne J.
(3)Brandi F.
(2)Christina V.
Ugh. The beer is warm, the service is mediocre, and their beer club is sub-par, to say the least. We came in tonight to take advantage of the "free entrée" that was extended to me for my birthday and being beer club members. Yeah, I'm thankful for the the free meal, but when we handed our waitress our beer club cards she informed us that because I took advantage of that free meal, we had to pay separate tabs in order for us both to get credit for the beers we drank. Say what?? It's not like we were both trying to redeem a prize, we just wanted credit for our beers. It's a system that needs some serious fixing.
(3)Demitri R.

Food - bad. Booze - good.

so you looking for a place with cheap drinks and nothing less then great food and service? if so avoid fox and the hound! the last two times i have went there my bill was nucking futs and our food was ok....

(3)Monica I.
(3)Khara L.
(4)Christina V.
(3)Scott G.
Went about a month ago, decent beer selection, lousy food, obnoxious soundtrack. Nothing but loud, over played, mainstream rap and hip hop. Do yourself a favor and go across the street to The Old Man.
(2)James J.
(1)Melissa H.
Good appetizers, several pool tables, checkers, and lots of comfortable seating... the only drawback is that the service often sucks... the waitresses are slow to get to your table or they don't remember what you ordered.
(3)Mike R.
Git ur darts on.
(3)Sam H.
(3)Mailou V.
Awesome atmosphere that's laid back and great for just getting together with friends and having some beers. Bartenders were on spot, even though it got busier than expected.
(4)M G.
(2)S S.
Place is ok when the staff is not kicking you out for private parties. We were not able to shoot darts because a party apparently rented out the whole right side but only used one little section of it. Place is usually pretty quiet
(2)Chris M.
I once ordered nachos from this place and cheese wasn't melted. Really, come on. I know the place was busy but raw nachos? How does a wait person even bring that to a table ... wft.
(1)Jodi A.
(2)Chris H.
