Awesome pizza by the slice! I've been looking for a good place where you don't have to buy a whole pizza and this is it! The sauce is great and not over powering, huge slices and cheap!

Great local pizzeria! I love their pizza and their lunch special is a really good bang for the buck. I'm not a fan of their pasta but their pizza makes up for it.

Ordered a pizza from here a few months ago and they took over an hour because they forgot to place the order. Thought I would try it again and once again they messed up. They said I told them I would pick it up when I wanted it delivered so I called to ask where the pizza was (after an hour) and they said it had be sitting at the restaurant waiting to be picked up. They offered me a discount but I needed to pick it up (it was going to be the same pizza that had been sitting there not a fresh one) and if I wanted it delivered I would have to wait an other hour.

This place is terrible!! I had a lasagna and it was literally layers of plain pasta with NO cheese in between, a tiny bit of cheese on top and some salsa. The frozen ones probably taste better. I love lasagna and this is by far the worst I have had. Husband had pizza and he confirmed me that his pizza was disgusting (and he loves pizza!!). My daughter had the mac n cheese and I tasted them because she didn't even wanted to eat them...the kraft mac n cheese from the box taste a million times better! I would never go back here and wouldn't recomend this place!

We order from here a lot over the last 5 years of finding it. It def is a top pick over domino's or pizza hut. They deliver pretty fast as well.

Slices were a generous size and service was nice. But New York pizza this is not. Rubbery was a good description used in a prior review and there was barely any sauce on the pie. And the sauce that was there was flavorless. Not worth getting off the highway for.

Great place if you like long black hair embedded into your pizza crust. No wonder the place was dead at 6:30 on a Saturday night.

Great pizza but the personality in the store is kind of low if u raise did the personality in there it probably have a lot more customers but I love your pizza thank you very much Anthony's Anthony's pizza I I that is not even affiliated with Anthony's taste like crap

I called for delivery and they never showed up. I called the store for an update, they apologized and told me it was on the way. An hour later I called again and they hung up on me. I thought they hung up on me by accident, and so I called again to be hung up again. Wow.

This place wins the award for worst spaghetti ever. Gross. The pasta sauce is bland and needed a lot of salt and oregano in order to be edible. There was a puddle of what looked like red water at the bottom of the bowl. How about adding some veggies to the sauce? It looked like any tomato that may have been in this sauce was completely liquified. I hear the pizza is incredible so that might be a good choice for those that are cheese lovers. The drink machine with tea is good- 4 options to choose from. Also, dress in layers because it's really freaking cold in the restaurant so even if your meal was good, you may not be able to enjoy it.

The pizza here was terrible. Since moving from Ohio we have tried about 4-5 different places and this was the worst pizza I've ever had. I asked for pepperoni, sausage and mushroom. I saw tons of mushrooms but little to no meat. The crust did not seem New York style. It was hard and tough to chew. In fact, we had leftovers that no one even wanted to eat. Normally with "bad" pizza, it is still edible and you eat it - but not Anthony's. We also ordered wings and they were the smallest wings I've ever seen. The only positive things were the cannolis. Those were actually pretty decent. I would not recommend eating here nor will I return again.

This place isn't fancy, but they can make a good slice, with whatever toppings you want, thin or thick-sliced. The thin, mercifully, is more Brooklyn-style and not that "cracker-thin crust" crap like Papa Murphy's prepares (not that I don't like me some PM...but cracker-crust is not what I want when going to grab a bite). There are many different toppings you can get here, the prices are between $2.50 and 3.50 a slice and they are nice, big slices; not overdripping with sauce or cheese; and you know? That's fine. Restrooms are at the end of a dark corridor, heh. One of the guys who works there is kinda gruff, and apparently a big fan of "420", since he couldn't stop talking about it to me and the other 3 patrons in there at the time, but whatever -- the food's good for grab-n-run. Great place to fuel up before or after a movie at Westminster Promenade.

Being from NY, I *guess* this is NY pizza...but it is definitely not *good* NY Pizza. I'd much rather go with Abo's, Original Pizza (Broomfield), Street Legal, or a few others that have pizza resembling NY Pizza that is much better. Even a good non-NY Pizza would be better than this. The service is poor (non-existent), slices were super-greasy, rubbery, just not good. If you order a pie it might be better but there are other options and Anthony's is wayyy expensive.
(2)
Steven W.
I am a huge fan of their cheeze pie. About as close as I can find to a true New York pie in this neighborhood. Also I can get 2 slices a drink for about 6 bucks. That is a deal! enjoy Steve

This place has such poor customer service, it made me sign up for a yelp account just so i could write a review. They forgot the sauce on the side I asked for with the eggplant parm and when they said they'd return with it, they never did. I called 40 minutes later and they said it was in the box of pizza we had ordered. Why would I not look in there first before I called in the first place and why wouldn't they call back to say they weren't coming? When I asked for a refund, they only offered "to be there in 5 minutes" or a 10% discount in my next order. I declined b/c it had already been 45 minutes (btw, 1hr 45m since I placed the original order). Horrible service and really expensive for the portion sizes.

This is good pizza!! I am from NY and have been all over Denver looking for good pizza. I think I found it!! Anthony's has a nice, thin crust. The Sicilian slices are huge and a little bit too doughy for me, but still good!! The meatball was not quite as good as NY, but will do. A good alternative to NY pizza.
(4)
Mari V.
We had a thin crust pepperoni pizza with extra cheese. It was good and the pizza was pretty good sized. It was really expensive though. Even with a $3.00 off coupon, it was still almost $19.00 for one pizza. The inside of the restaurant is pretty sparsely decorated too. Not a lot of personality.

I'm a little picky about my pizzas. Once I find a good place, it's hard to pry me away. When I first had a few slices, I got the thick crust pizza because I also like bread, a lot. After a few visits, I thought I'd try a thin crust once just to see how it was and it was fricking awesome! The slices are pretty big. Once slice is a decent meal. But it's so good, when I go in, I have to force myself not to order two slices. I always order a PMS slice (Pepperoni, Mushroom, and Sausage) which helps make it a meal.

Love Anthony's but this location's Customer service sucks! Anthony's Pizzas are delicious. Again, this location - Always undercooked, the only Anthony's that doesn't put enough cheese. You can always see an inch of pizza sauce w/o cheese on the edge not counting the crust. And I ordered extra cheese!

Pretty good. Stopped in while on a trip to a wedding in Denver. Had the cheese ravioli. There was lots of sauce smothering the noodles (which was good) but the sauce was a bit bland for my liking. Garlic bread was great though.

These guys just opened up next to Qdoba at 120th & Huron. Their NY style pie is delicious and can be bought by the slice. The service is friendly and the red interior is cozy and inviting. There are plenty of dining options in the area, but if you are craving NY style pizza, this is the place to go. By the way, this place is not related to Anthony's II on 112th and Colorado which serves god awful pizza.

Anthony's has GREAT pizza but this location has just about the worst customer service I have ever experienced!! Several times we have received the wrong dressing with salads and we have paid for ingredients that are not on the pizza. The last time we placed an order for delivery, we were told it would take about an hour. When no pizza arrived in over 90 minutes, I called the store and was told they thought it was a pick-up order - like I would give my credit card number over the phone if I was going to pick it up. There was no offer to compensate us for the mistake and basically I was told to take my business elsewhere! We will not be ordering from Anthony's again until we move into an area serviced by a different store.

I am writing with a concern that I have during my most recent experience with Anthonys Pizza on 3/20/2012-I called in a order for pick up and was given the price of 27.97 to pay upon arrival. I paid the representative with my debit card and then the following day I was going through my bank statement and I was charged 33.56. I contacted Anthony Pizza at 5:30pm when I got of of work and requested to speak to a supervisor or manager. The individual on the phone (Oliver) identified himself as a supervisor and stated that they charge 2.00 to put a hold on your pizza when you order for pick up-I advised him that I did not pay until I arrived and they charged me an overage of 5.59. He then asked me for my card # so that he could look into the issue. I advised him that I did not feel comfortable giving him my full card # over the phone and that I would just contact my bank and make a report to Anthony Pizza-He then stated that was not necessary and would refund my card the full amount if I gave him my card #. I gave him my card # and he said he would call me in a hour once the issue was resolved or the other manager arriving later that night would take care of the issue and call me. No one called me so I called back at 7:45pm and spoke to Jason who identified himself as the manager and at that time told me that Oliver did not know what he was talking about and that Anthonys Pizza charges there customers a 20% gratuity just in case the customer leaves a tip. I advised him that I was not notified of that when my card was ran and that Oliver had stated I would be refunded for the full amount. Jason was very rude and basically told me my card would only be charged the 27.97 that I was originally billed for and there would be no further action. I feel like I was lied to by both individuals and by me giving Oliver my card to make the refund toward my card, he was able to fix this extra money they were charging my card. I tried going onto the website to file a complaint due to my experience but there was no place for me to file a complaint. I would just like to say that if you choose to eat at this location to please check your bank statements if paying with a card or in the future pay with cash because they do not provide good customer service and not very clear on the correct procedures for there company which left me feeling as though something fraudulent just happened to make the issue go away like it never happened.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
