This place really surprised me!!! The cambridge skillet was so delicious & the staff was great. I went to this location twice in one week and if I would of had the chance I would have went more. Hoping to find a location back home.

Excellent, excellent breakfast here this morning. Everything was delicious, cooked perfectly and nothing was greasy! There are tons of choices for everyone When you order a cup of coffee , they bring you out an entire carafe to enjoy, so no waiting for the waitress to back and see if you need a refill. There are also a variety of flavored coffees to choose from. The server was super friendly, and our food came out fast. I will definitely be back to try their pineapple coconut pancakes!!!

I love this place. Service is prompt and friendly. Food is delicious. Its a chain so don't expect character but do expect tasty food, great coffee and great service. I always get the Parisian Benedict with extra crispy potatoes. Yum!

I used to love this place; the friendly atmosphere, employees, cute decor. The hostess always smiled, the waiters were fast and friendly. The last few times I've co,e here I have been very disappointed. The hostess is still friendly (she's been here forever) and she is the only reason for the 2 stars instead of none. The waiter (Jr) sucked, and I mean sucked with a capital S. As my friend and I were ordering, he would interrupt us when his question is what we were saying if he would have listened. He had a "I hate my job" attitude. I ordered a side of white toast with my breakfast and he asked me what kind of toast. He brought our meals out without the toast and it was almost 15 minutes later did the toast came. The waffle I had was very flavorless, no butter on it or on the side, I had to order that separate and that took another 5 minutes, by the time it came out the waffle was cold. The eggs came out a bit over cooked and the bacon looked like it was sitting for a while. Oh, and the bus lady would sit down and clear the table. She sat behind me cleaning that table and because of the way the booths are made she was rocking me. I spilt my coffee a few times by how much moving around she did. And the coffee was the only food thing about the meal. I really hope they shape up. I'd hate not dining there, but it will be a while before I return.

Fast service and great food on a Sunday. kind of expensive. 8.99 for the sunrise relleno and 8.59 for the viva la France. We drank water because their soda was 2.49. Very tasty though. I ate the viva but took bites off the sunrise. Sorry took a pic of the sunrise. Relleno but have no idea where it went.: (

Our families favorite place to have breakfast and the best coffee at a breakfast place on my side of Denver. Raquel & I share usually what ever entry we get here. Staff is very friendly and we have never had a bad meal. If your going to stop in invite us to join ya... Lol

Fast and delicious, nothing could be finer (than, maybe, to be in Carolina)... We got here Sunday morning just before the church/full-on brunch crowd showed up. I highly recommend that. We waited 5-10 minutes, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a line that's 30-40 minutes during major meal times. And, really, I'm not sure I'd actually wait that long. But that's not about Egg & I, that's just normal hunger pains. I ordered a skillet, my friend ordered an omelet. Hers was covered in hollandaise sauce, mine in green chile. Seriously, this is one of the best meals (and possibly the best breakfast) I've had in Denver since I moved here. Not sure what could be wrong with this place. I couldn't get over the cuteness of the "shabby chic" decor or the Colorado Rockies shirts everywhere. I guess for the last reason alone, some people might give it a 4 star rating (go PIT!)

Nom nom nom. Yummy Benedict dishes.

Pretty solid little diner. Stopped in for breakfast and had a pretty decent comfort breakfast with Green Chile and scramble. Nothing to write home about, but if you need some breakfast before church giver er' a whirl.

So packed every time, but of course, worth the wait. Skillets are great! Their potatoes are awesome. Good service

Good service, yummy food- typical breakfast joint atmosphere. Delicious daily/seasonal coffee flavors!

This has to be one of my favorite places to eat breakfast at. They seem to always have a friendly staff. They have changed there menu and took out one of my favorite meals, but if I ask for it they seem to always please me and make it for me. It can get a little pricy but overall good clean place.

The customer service here is fantastic, which bumped up their stars from 3 to 4 for me. They're fast, friendly, and helpful. The reason I would give this place 3 stars is for the food selection. They have 0 options of non-dairy milk. Almond milk is what I drink, but they don't have that or even soy! Who doesn't carry soy milk these days???? Also no gluten free options. I got an omelet sans cheese, and it was good. Though I wish I could have had a slice of gluten free toast with it or a soy latte.

I like this place it is veggie friendly, the food is good, the waitstaff is super nice and they are sweet to my one year old! I just wish they would get rid of the pickled jalepeno's and buy the fresh ones. It would really make the chile relleno sing!

Another in this chain of breakfasteries in a large strip mall bland-o-plex in Thornton. The service was good, the food was surprizingly tasty. I had a Denver scramble with green chili sauce and nice cripsy bacon. I have this dark and sinister bias against large chains. I don't like the sameness, the chalky, suburban blight. But this place has it right.

Absolutely terrible service. Hostess ignored me, then a server finally sat me and said "Sharon will be right with you." Four minutes later, still no Sharon. There were two only other tables, so it's not like they were busy. I work in the food service industry, so generally I'm sympathetic & understanding, but I do expect some sort of greeting within four minutes of my arrival. I won't be back.

A new (to us) breakfast place and we were definitely pleased. There was no wait to sit down - but maybe that was because we got there at 7am...The atmosphere is a little big "Old Country Buffet" but smaller, and you don't have to get up to serve yourself. There's an outdoor patio, which overlooks Thornton Parkway and Downtown Denver. A pretty large menu, which includes lunch options (served from open to close). I had the Sunrise Chile Rellenos with pork green chili. All meals come with "ranch potatoes" which were a little bland, in my opinion. The main dish was really tasty - a perfect blend of cheeses, chile, eggs and chili, with a dollop of sour cream on top. My bf had the Deluxe Breakfast Sandwich - fried eggs, mayo, Dill Havarti, bacon, and ham on sourdough. I had a bite and it was delicious. Oh, and my ice tea came with a small carafe - so no need to wait for refills! This place may become our bfast go-to spot in the near future!

Good place for breakfast. In the summer we always come early and sit on the patio. Sure, it's in a parking lot and you get to watch the traffic, but raise your eyes a bit and see a great view of downtown and a long way out to the plains. Food tend to be expensive and is a little "Yuppie" (i.e., heavy on the California ingredients and pseudo healthy.) The breakfast potatoes (or whatever they call them) are out of a frozen bag and are totally forgettable - get the fresh fruit instead. The Deluxe Breakfast Sandwich and the French Toast Sandwich are personal favorites, but the Scrambles and Skillets have never disappointed. The hazelnut coffee is worth paying a little extra for (and they give you a full carafe!) Service tends to be quick and personable, but can get backed up when it gets really busy.

I stop in here pretty often, as it's nearby, and the food's always good. I make a mean omelet but it's nice to let someone else do it for me every once and awhile. The place can get a bit packed at peak breakfast hours but that's a good sign. I find the prices to be a lil' steep as the portions are only so-so but it's not bad overall. The staff is also friendly and the restaurant is always clean.

Nothing special food was good but the service was kinda lacking. My girlfriend has worked as a server so I know how hard some days can be serving. I'm big on table touches and getting my drink refilled. During this visit I never received a refill. This being said the food was good enough that I would most likely eat here again.

Great place to eat, wonderful food with fresh ingredients, great service and waiters. The only reason this review is 4 stars and not 5 is for two reasons: 1. The breakfast burrito is TINY compared to most other breakfast restaurants. It tastes good but doesn't really fill you up. And 2. The food can be quite expensive. But after all, you get what you pay for at Egg and I!

Seated within 10 minutes on a busy Saturday am. Food was hot and delivered quickly. All aspects of order were correct and the service was good

My husband and I eat here almost every weekend. Friendly fast service. Food is delicious, hot and fresh. Tons of breakfast items. We really love this place!
(4)Moriah S.
The egg and I is very homey and delicious. I love the Cobb salad with the chicken apple walnut sandwich! Yum! The pancakes and syrup don't have a lot of sugar in them with is kind of different from what I am used to. I'd actually prefer them a little sweeter. The service was great every time I've gone there besides today. Their were a group of girl waiters sitting at a table "folding napkins" while they were all looking at a phone and laughing and joking. I don't think they knew people could see them through the window.

Good Food. Service is ok

The food at the Egg and I is pretty good. I don't eat pork, and they don't have a lot of options available for the sauce (green chili is pork). So I get smothered in Salsa for some of the mexican fare. It is okay, but it is not over the top good. I do like that I can get get egg whites, and they do a good job not over cooking the eggs. The one thing about this location that makes it not so spectacular is the service. Have you ever seen people who look like they are working hard, but they are actually working too hard? They can't seem to multitask and take one thing at a time. So the service is not good. The food is alright.. For that I give it an A-ok.
