The green chili is great! I totally recommend the green chili beef burrito. While your at it, try some candied bacon. It's like beef jerky bacon :) :) :)

Very good food! Nice little place with a crowded, weirdly packed layout typical to Silverton restaurants. We were there on a holiday weekend (July 3) and it was pretty busy but we didn't have a problem getting seated. Waitress was a little clueless and disinterested but there were enough other people around to make up for her. We didn't have too long of a wait for food but it also didn't all come out at the same time which was a little odd. Everything was outstanding. The burgers were well-seasoned and cooked right. The green chili was delicious, with just enough spiciness and great flavor. They have several dishes with the green chili, we recommend any of those.

The service was atrocious. (We did dine here for lunch on 4th of July so the town and restaurant was PACKED.) We were not recognized upon arrival for at least 15 minutes... we just stood in the doorway. Upon getting a table we were ignored for another 15 minutes or more. I was so thirsty I considered leaving to get water elsewhere. After we ordered our food took a crazy amount of time to make. I believe it was almost an hour. (At one point a lady - owner? - did bring complimentary chips and salsa to appologize for the wait. A man mostly working behind the bar - another owner? - was so ineffective. I watched him walk in circles and do almost nothing. When I asked him about our crazy wait for food he argued with me on how long we had been waiting!! I was the correct one. I also thought I saw him make himself a cocktail though I could have been mistaken and just super grumpy at that point.) The food was okay. Kids meal grilled cheese look unappetizing and dry but my daughter ate it just fine. The kids meal cheeseburger was a very decent portion. The beer battered fish and chips were quite tasty. I can't remember what else we had.... I had to get up and get myself a beverage from the soda machine twice. It wasn't even worth trying to flag someone down. The bathroom was disgustingly dirty. Stuff on floor, no paper products and blood all over the toilet. I did let a young waiter or bus boy know and he seemed shocked. I didn't wait around to see if he took care of it.

Just got off the train in Silverton and walked over to this place before it got too busy. Sat right down and the service was quick and friendly. Some great local microbrews on tap and a full stocked bar. The party I was with had a couple of different burgers and both were great. Service was attentive throughout the entire meal and everyone working at the place was hustling. Walk the two blocks from the train and stop in.

I'm not sure what anyone is talking about in service and maybe I'm used to really good service but it straight up sucks here. We're here on July 4th you would think they would staff up but nope. Been here over an hour and just got our beers. I can't even comment on the food but I would absolutely warn everyone from coming here unless you have 3 hours for a bowl of soup. Ok, so 45 minutes after the above paragraph we received our food and it was really good. The green chili soup was awesome. I had the single bandito and it was delicious. The last part of the service the waitress couldn't figure out how to split a check in half. It's the worst service I've had in quite a number of years. But the food is good. It's still a one star as the food was good just not worth a two hour wait.

Great place to grab a bite or hang for a bit. Good food (I had green chili burrito) and great choice of beers. Service was friendly and quick (I can early). Definitely should give it a try!

Great place for beer and burgers after the train ride. Service was very quick and attentive even though they were packed. The beef and all the veggies on the burgers were super fresh and the beers were cold! If I lived in the area, I would be a regular!!

Came in off the train from Durango to Silverton and this is where we stopped... They have local beers on tap which are great! We were the first ones in here off the train and sat down right away. Ordered mozzarella sticks, which came out quickly and very hot and were good (your average frozen ones) As soon as we ordered our appetizer 20-30 more people came in and the restaurant was full! We were a party of 3, and we all ordered burgers. They were all fantastic! Great flavor and cooked to perfection! Service was very quick and everyone was on top of refills and making sure we were satisfied. Would definitely be back if in the area!

We were in town jeeping for a few days. This was our go to place. They have outdoor seating, the service is amazing, and the food is really good. The green chicken chili was yummy!

When the waiter asks you what 'rare' means you know you're in trouble. Stay away from the burgers and beef and go with the carnitas burrito or Mexican hot dogs. Beer selection is minimal and the staff tries but there's a lot is service left to be desired. The beer candied bacon is kind of good, but there are better restaurants in the area if you're just here for the day.

Great Service! We had 2 dogs and the patio was closed, but they graciously opened the patio for us and prepared a water bowl for the dogs without being asked. The People service was very attentive and the burgers and steak fries were great. I wish we lived closer, so we could frequent more often

You have got to try this place. We were greeted when we entered the door. Very clean and happening place. The food was AMAZING. Best food we had during our 5 day stay in Silverton. Great hamburger with fresh vegetables, I.e. Lettuce, tomato, onion. You have, have to try the Green Chili - it's under the appetizer section of the menu. Get the hot. Oh my gosh. It was delicious. We also added the cucumber salad - very good. The owners are nice people - they walk around and talk to the customers, and they have a friendly staff.

We stopped here with a nine people group. The waitress immediately impressed us by memorizing all orders without writing them down. Burgers were great as well as pulled pork sandwiches, drunken fish and fish & chips. The ice cream was Ok. This is not your high end place, but if you are looking for an authentic flavor, do stop by here.

I had lunch here after riding the train from Durango to Silverton. Our party of five each ordered a sandwich and soup. Excellent service, clean, full bar and great food. Service was fast and gave us plenty of time to roam around town and shop

We came in on 4th of July and expected the wait for food to be a while. We sat and tried to order several times and the waitress said she would only take our drink order for the moment. When she finally took our order there were several other tables come in, order, eat, and leave before we got our food which took a total of one and a half hours. We had 2 orders of chicken strips and when they brought us grilled cheese I told them we didn't order them. They said the manager came and told us that they were out of chicken strips but no one came and told us anything. Not to mention that the grilled cheese they did bring out was cold and the cheese was unmelted, we also didn't get a single refill unless we walked up to the bar and waited till they brought it to us (we asked for refills 3 times). It was a terrible experience and we will never be back and discourage any one we know to come here.

We waited an hour for our order which when it came was incorrect from what we ordered, the fish was overcooked . The bbq burger was actually quite nice even though it had cheese I didn't order. But what led to my v poor rating was when I mentioned the order was wrong after waiting an hr the owner said 'this is Silverton that's what you get' a very poor attitude. They did not charge for drinks and provided a free small dish of tinned fruit to make up for the mistake however a small dish of better attitude would have left a better impression

Oh my God, the nachos are enough food for a family of like 1 million people. Your life will never be the same, in a good way. They bring you free chips and salsa which is nice. I must acknowledge that the bathrooms are also clean.

Very nice. We had a pulled pork sandwich with sausage, a pulled pork and grilled cheese sandwich and a spinich, apple and feta salad. Service was good and the green chile sauce was very good on the sandwiches.
