Passing by Pueblo on the way home and stopped by the cafe for breakfast. Love the burrito smothered with green chile. Got to have green chile when in Pueblo!

Great place for breakfast so glad we chose this over a diner or chain. Great tea selection even for us caffeine free folks. The Popeye burrito was very tasty and fresh. Loved the decor, quirky and the service, friendly.

We stop by there often for their great drinks. The new Chai they are serving is awesome. The service is fast and friendly. I haven't eaten there, so this review is only for the drinks.

I love coming here and watching the world go by in old historic Pueblo. Great offerings, excellent service, great food. One of the neatest things that i have not seen in other places is their "Great wall of teas". About a hundred different varieties, from the stock flavors to a lot of really cool exotics that I am still sampling everytime i go there.

Happy to have found this little coffee shop in Pueblo. I enjoy their coffee and breakfast items. I also really like the taco salad. Only wish I had time to sit and do work here, great ambience!!

I found The Daily Grind while looking around for a restaurant with some vegan options. I had a vegan wrap that was very good and my ice tea was customized from the large tea selection. This is a very casual restaurant from the decor to the clientele. I will return tomorrow for breakfast.

Best Chai tea latte I have had in a long time! One of the few places I have ever been to that brews Chai tea and uses it for the lattes...most places use gross syrup. It is more than just good tea though!!! treat yourself to the breakfast burrito (served all day) it is AMAZING! Also has an awesome vibe and servers are chill.

This place is something between an arthouse cafe and a grunge coffeehouse and I'm glad the Daily Grind is still making it in Pueblo. They have good solid espresso and coffee drinks, plus some choice food options. Their breakfast burrito with veggie green chili is excellent - we went back two days in a row to get our fill. A nice place to stop in late at night, too, since Pueblo mostly rolls up its streets early. Somehow this place manages to be both counterculture/hip and a place that cops stop by for a cup - nice experience of small-town diversity, too.

Stopped here on a road trip from northern New Mexico back to Denver. Usually we settle for a quick fix but were all craving a really good sandwich Wendy's couldn't provide, so found this spot on Yelp! Just what we needed. Everyone grabbed a different kind of sandwich served on our choice of bread or wrap, and paired with a side. I couldn't resist The Californian - turkey, bacon, provolone, avocado, alfalfa sprouts, lettuce, tomato, red onion, red pepper mayo and Dijon mustard of a spinach wrap. It was STUFFED with ingredients and oh so tasty. I actually split it with my mom and we were both more than full after paired with some salt and vinegar chips. They have an impressive selection of coffee and teas so I also grabbed an espresso, while my brother opted for a more adventurous Reese's cold latte which he liked. I was so excited to find real coffee that wasn't Starbucks in these parts. We sat outside to eat, but there is a lot of room inside, along with games and couches to hang out on. It seems like a lot goes on here including songwriting workshops and other artsy things. Not going to lie, I was a bit intimidated upon walking in because it seemed like everyone knew what was going on and their food and drink selection is super extensive, but the staff was really friendly. See ya later Cracker Barrel, we just might have a new road trip stop!

This place was great. I got the vegetarian burrito, my boyfriend got a tuna sandwich, and we both enjoyed them very much. Nice touches: with the veggie burrito, you can choose whether you want avocado or mushrooms inside. You can also choose to get it smothered with vegetarian green chili or not. Also, the sandwiches come with a choice of sides (coleslaw, potato salad, fruit, chips, other). We also got iced coffees, which were quite good. The atmosphere is also really nice with lots of rooms and tables to choose from, art on the walls, books to read, etc. It was fairly busy while we were there and there was still loads of room to sit. One quirk: they keep their half-and-half in a refrigerator by the front door (where they also store cream cheese, butter, and some items for sale). Initially I thought they only had powdered creamer (ick!) but the real creamer is there, it's just a bit hidden.

For lunch, me and my wife decided to try a sandwich place in Pueblo. What drew our attention first was the Great Wall of Tea they have since we always like trying a new tea. My wife got the apple cinnamon and it was really good! At first, looking at the place you kind of expect sub-par sandwiches, since a place that does coffee, tea, and desserts can't be good at them all right? Well turns out that's wrong for sure. She got the Beef Baron and I got the Bull Riders Special. They did not skimp out on the protein of the sandwich and the bread they serve was tasty. On the Special, the onions and peppers were well cooked and added good flavor to the seasoned fajita meat. Ambience of the place was very nice, they were playing Gorillaz which is a favorite of ours and they place had a welcoming feeling. Overall very pleased with this place and we would return!

Cool little spot in little Pueblo. We were in the area for the Senior Dinner for a friend's daughter and decided to hang out a little more afterwards. What a cute little place. When we walked in, there was a live band playing which gave the cafe an organic feel. I enjoyed the music. Reminded me of a church I attended in Maryland some years ago. I had, for the first time, a White Chocolate/Salted Caramel Steamer. Dang was that thing delicious! From the looks of it, everyone comes here, regardless of age.

This is one of those places that deserves more than five stars. I love Pueblo and I adore The Daily Grind Cafe. This place exudes character. The location is ideal and the interior has just the right amount of authentic quarkiness. The coffee and food is top notch. Service is friendly and hard working. You can't go wrong here. PS-This is a great location to pick up the latest PULP, one of the best local papers around.

This place has great reviews but their food was only average. I gave them a full 3 stars because their coffee is awesome!

the coffee is great, the bagels are the closest i've found that compare to new jersey and the vibe is pretty cool. never had an issue with staff but sometimes the line gets pretty long. way better than starbucks!

Bread on our sandwiches was not fresh made. Hoagie like, too big! Great staff! Fun college type atmosphere on Friday night!

Came in here for breakfast while driving down to Taos NM. The main reason was because the had vegan options. Had the breakfast sandwich that was alright. Then ordered the smoothies which tastes like pure sugar. They don't use fresh fruit, worst smoothie I've had. Then I ordered a cappuccino which wasn't bad with a Mediterranean salad with NO cheese to go and 3 bottles of water. Well they never gave me the bottles of water and when I went to eat my salad on the drive down it was full of cheese. I am allergic to cheese and I could not emphasize more the importance of not putting cheese on there. I wasted about $16 at this place. The staff are friendly but have no sense of organization. I would only recommend the coffee but only if you stay there to make sure they make it right. Here's a tip get a bowl of fruit at 7 eleven

The food was more than good. The breakfast burrito was very large and the coffee was high quality.

My prior review is still accurate and it has directions to get there if you get lost. I highly recommend this place. It is my home away from home when I'm in Pueblo. I eat meals here, I have coffee, and I use it as my refueling stop for trips to other parts of the state. I've had a lot of things off the menu-- they're always fresh & well prepared. The staff is cordial and I can pick up my dry looseleaf tea for home.

Such a cool spot! I was looking for a quick dinner spot while I was with my bosses family. Their twin boys were starving and we had been walking around for a while doing some site seeing on a business trip. We swung in and I'm so glad that I did. First off: This place is artsy and local. College kids, kids that live near by frequent here (I say kids because they are under the age of 40. :). It's got tables set aside JUST For chess players and so much art it would take you a whole cup of coffee just to take it all in. Second: They suspend coffees and meals suspendedcoffees.com Yes, you can order a meal and pay for another one to be suspended for someone that comes in off the street and asks for a meal and/or coffee. And they will make it for them. Huge, right? **This one sign is what made me fall in love with this place" Oh.. and food wise. Get their grilled cheese sandwiches with 4 different kids of cheese and bacon. Just do it.. it's amazing! I am going back to Pueblo this weekend for another work related trip and one of my first stops Saturday morning will be the Daily Grind!

I asked a co-worker for a lunch recommendation in the area, he suggest this "hippy dippy" sandwich and coffee shop. It was good and the quality was there. My complaint was that it was, I ordered the french dip, but it didn't have any au jus, a french dip without au jus, is just a warm roast beef sandwich. It was a good roast beef sandwich, just not a french dip. They did have other sandwiches that looked good, pastrami, BLT among others. I will diffidently give them another chance.

The perfect restaurant, coffee shop, and hang out for unconventional people! This place reminded me of a place you might find in Austin or San Francisco. The wall art and decor is funky and interesting, so it has a great atmosphere. The English breakfast tea and eggnog latte were perfection and the tuna fish sandwich and breakfast sandwich with bacon on a croissant were sooo good. 5 stars!

A solid healthy handmade lunch on the road. Stopped en route to the sand dunes at 1pm on a Friday. Busy place, evident community hub, lots of characters milling about. Did not have coffee but looked legit second wave.

The service here needs some work. The staff seems to accommodate their "regular" customers and ignore everyone else. So if you want to feel like an outsider, while drinking mediocre coffee, this place is for you. It's such a shame, too, because it seems like a neat place to hang out.

The Daily Grind is a solid coffee shop, in a town that needs as many as it can get! My review - 1. COFFEE --- the coffee here is excellent, which is likely the most important thing about a coffee shop (lol) 2. TEA --- this is where the Daily Grind truly shines - for me personally, I'm not a coffee drinker, but I'm a huge tea-nick, and I'm impressed with how much loose leaf tea the Daily Grind has, catering well to us tea drinkers 3. LATE HOURS --- while I wish they were open even later, they usually stay open until at least 11 PM, which is very welcome in Pueblo! Lastly, the ambiance is interesting - definitely not a typical coffee shop, however, the essence of good coffee shops is that they carry a distinct personality and the Daily Grind in Pueblo definitely carries its own personality! ENJOY ALL!!!!!

Great coffee with super friendly staff that will give excellent suggestions! Cozy and welcoming environment for the student looking to study, businessman finishing some work or friends just wanting to chat. Def a place to hit even though parking can suck if the area is busy but it's def worth the stop!

Went in with a special needs child. The staff was rude and offensive to child. Trying to acclimate child to social situations, it was quiet in the coffee shop at the time. I love coffee, but will never return.

Cool coffee place with a very relaxed atmosphere. They have a great selection of loose teas and the best vegetarian green chili I've ever tasted. They have plenty of seating and a cozy area with a couch and a bookcase filled with books and a great variety of games to play. The day I visited was cool and rainy, and if it were an option I would have holed up there for most of the day with a good book. I'll definitely be back on future visits to Pueblo.

Not much was open in downtown Pueblo at 9:30 sunday morning. I found this place while driving around. Probably the best breakfast burrito I have ever had. Comfortable place with free wi-fi.

Okay, I didn't know what to expect. Turned out to be better than most. Kind of funky and fun. Was there for some business meetings over coffee. The staff was pleasant & helpful. The coffee was better than Starbuck's will ever be. A couple of my companions had sandwiches & wraps. They sure enjoyed them. I'll be back when in Pueblo.

I have been to the daily grunge twice. The first time, they brought my wife her sandwich but never brought me mine. They just spaced out my order. They did give me a full refund. On the second visit, same thing happened. Only this time, they spaced both orders. Paid $26 to sit around for 20 minutes only to find they never even made our sandwiches. Got another full refund but I will NEVER go back.

Well who would of thunk that this little town had a little gem in the historic downtown area? We were passing through, stopped for the river walk (it's nice) and decided to have lunch. The Daily Grind, just a little sign outside. Nice touch of some combination of early 70's , maybe a flower child owner, that takes you back a few decades. All sorts of stuff to buy beside your coffee and mix any tea you would like to mix up. The food was good, staff friendly and the joint was clean. I was impressed with the young adults there that they were actually working the whole time, food prep or cleaning tables etc. they did not stop and gossip with each other...good job guys!!!

I find myself back in Pueblo again and am so happy the Daily Grind exists. Maybe the coolest hangout in town. The scene is hip and artsy, sometimes a little hard to find in around here. The great selection of salads and sandwiches which is what I come for, especially the veggie sandwich. The staff has always been cool and offers helpful suggestions, like "the potato salad doesn't really go with that, but the pickles are delicious." Seriously though, I like this place. The downtown location is also fun and gives you a reason to explore the rest of the town. I'll have to stop in for coffee and breakfast sometime!

Great French press coffee and delicious and filling breakfast burrito! Lots of other tempting menu options. Love the artsy ambiance, lots of different seating, chill vibes. Could easily linger the afternoon away. :)

My review is for the food only. I did a working lunch here this afternoon. They have a fairly substantial list of sandwiches to choose from. I ended up getting their deviled egg salad with a side of potato salad. I think I preferred the potato salad to the egg salad. It was what I would describe as above average. The egg salad was just ok for me. Prices are a tad high, but seems like a cool place to hang out if you live in pueblo.

Good coffee and food items. Prob the best breakfast burrito here I have ever eaten. I customized a menu burrito, adding eggs and sausage, and is great mix. Coffee seems a bit lesser than Solar, but still good. Nice location in old part of Pueblo with morning jiggers and cyclists. I plan to return for sure.

A clean, well lighted place! The best place to go in Pueblo! Awesome baristas, great food (especially the burritos if you add green chili) and a while wall packed with an assortment of all kinds of loose leaf tea.

Love this place, while living in pueblo for a year and being a vegetarian I was looking for some great places to serve great food and found this place. I absolutely love it they have vegan burritos and vegeterian and make their food to your liking. I was very pleased. it was delicious and a must go to place if you're in the area! Their drinks are delicious as well and the people are very friendly. Love this place.

Fun staff, polite and great coffee. Love that they have wifi and that they are open more than the other local places in town. Whenever visiting family in town, it seems like we end up on Union and stop by here for coffee. Wish we would have had this place when we were in high school.

Blech all around. Dirty & horrible customer service. The chai tea is so-so -- not great, not awful. I got a chocolate chocolate chip muffin, and it was so dry it actually scratched my throat. I took it back to the counter and said I was not a fan. The sourpuss girl didn't offer to give me something else to try. So, I spent more money and got a danish. It is NOT that hard to make a moist muffin, honestly. I would not return here.

This place is pretty cool. I got a cinnamon bun latte that was delicious and a bagel. The bagel I had to toast myself with a toaster that they provide for you which I thought was unique. They even provide you with board games and some puzzles in a corner. The place had good music and a style all of it's own. There is a red hand chair that I really wanted to sit in but just looked at instead with awe and wonder. I will definitely come back to this place next time I'm in town. Hopefully I will sit in the chair.....

Great food, awful service. Staff is rude, slow, uninterested and make frequent mistakes. Apathetic and hipsterish douchebags.

I stop in each time I drive through Pueblo. They know their coffee: I've never had to explain how to make a macchiato like I have in much bigger cities. Plus they are friendly and have a good hip vibe.

So delicious! Friendly staff. Amazing tea selection. Breakfast burritos are full of flavor and not at all greasy. Fresh ingredients. Cute and fun decorations inside. Wish I could come back regularly but sadly just passing through town.
