Really enjoyed it! Not sure what I ordered, but the "medium" was very spicy.

The Food is great we tried the Pankora Nanza and the Chipotle Hot Wings as an app and they were amazing . For Dinner we got the Mixed Grill it was a mix of Lamb, Chicken and Shrimp with peppers served on a sizzling plate and basmati rice on the side. Absolutely to die for . .... The second time I was in there I got the Lunch Buffet for $10 it's mostly Indian food but had some American items as well including a Beef Blanco pasta that was really tasty (I tried to duplicate it at home and failed lol) .. The last time I was in there with my Girlfriend she had the Chiken Tika masala and I had the Italian Beef Sandwich both were great .The dinner service was a little slow but it's a new restaurant I think the next time I'm in the service will be much better , as I plan on coming to Mr Tandooris Urban Bar and Grill every time I'm in Pueblo and I can't wait for the summer to take advantage of there enormous patio that has a Fireplace and Water fountain

Great atmosphere, great food, and great service!!!! I ate an Indian resturaunt in Denver and it is NO comparison to Mr Tandoori's!!!!

Good food , just that they are a little pricier than should be but still worth stopping by.

Fabulous food! Excellent service. Parmy is an excellent chef and runs a top-notch restaurant. The decor is fabulous and makes you feel like you're the only table in place. Elegant and yummy. What a great combination.

Never a bad meal in this joint! I love the buffet Monday thru Friday. It gives you a chance to taste all of the great options that you otherwise might not have tried! Dinner is also great. I love the Aloo saag and the cheese naan. Mango margaritas are to die for by the way!

  • Kalin W.

Excellent service, amazing fresh flavors and huge portions. The chutneys were the best I have had anywhere. Just wish I could find a comparable Indian restaurant in Denver!

I absolutely love the brunch buffet. And one of the biggest reasons I love this restaurant is also how wonderful the owner Parmy is. He is caring and genuinely wants your experience to be great.

On our way to Denver we decides to make a pit stop for dinner in pueblo. We wanted to have some vegeterian as we had been feasting on meat all day long and so we yelped it. Sadly only 2 choices popped up and so mr. Tandoori had the better reviews. We ordered vegetable Samosas and aloo mattar. The somos as were spot on. Crispy and tasty. The basmati rice was fluffy and very aromatic! I really loved the flavors that the aloo mattar had. Definitely good indian food!

My girlfriend and I eat here pretty regularly, and I always look forward to it. Everything on the menu is perfect, and Mr. Tandoori's has, hands down, the best chicken tikka masala I've ever had!

  • Sammi S.

I often have cravings for potatoes, peas and curry. Just one trip to mr.tandooris and I have satisfied my cravings with a healthy vegan meal and I have leftovers about the same size as what I eat the first time, you can even order online! Simply amazing food, feel and deals. :p

While the food is good, not spectacular, but good, it is terribly overpriced. We paid 24 dollars for a to go chicken korrmas, thinking the price tag got an order suitable for 2. It is not only small but plain, with little actual meat, and comes with nothing warranting nearly 30 bucks after tax. The food is good, it's not as good as the price tag suggests.

Just ate at their lunch buffet and it was very good but..... Very expensive for a lunch buffet. It cost almost $13 for lunch buffet that's $3-$4 more than any other Indian lunch buffet I've ever paid for. And because of that I'm out.....

  • Jennifer H.

Delicious Indian food! If you don't know what to order, the servers describes the food to you. They will bring you a sample if you ask. The nan is delicious with many varieties to choose from. They have a buffet on Saturdays, so you can really be adventurous. We have never left un satisfied. The atmosphere is fun and clean. Overall this is a really great restaurant in Pueblo.

  • David B.

I'm picky about Indian food, and there are lots of disappointing Indian restaurants out there. I was very happy with my experience here. The lunch buffet was excellent, and the service was attentive and friendly. If I come back to Pueblo I'll definitely eat here again.

Got in about one hour before closing for lunch on Saturday. The buffet was pretty bare and the staff was very short and unwelcoming. They made us feel hurried. The food was not the best, since it had set for a while. Some patrons from another table requested some chicken vindaloo to be served, since there was not much to chose from on the menu. The staff agreed but they were obviously irritated about it. It was uncomfortable to just witness. Am not so sure I will be back. It was just unpleasant.

At mr tandoori in Pueblo Colorado. Beautiful food. Vegan and vegetarian blends. My daughter had the beautiful buffet that is open during lunch time. I had the lentil bean soup. Medium version. Delicious.

  • Brian B.

Some of the best Indian I have experienced in Colorado. Great food. The lunch buffet is has always been fantastic. The sweet mango lassi is a great contrast to the spicier dishes.

I was here a couple of months ago while on a business trip. I had eaten here before so I was excited to get another chance to stop in. First off the food it top notch. I have had 2 meals there and each one was a huge hit. One of those few places who understand spicy does not have to mean, so flipping hot you can't taste what you are eating. Great food, great service in a strange but cool setting!!!

I love Indian food, this is the closest Indian joint to where I live (75 miles), and it does not disappoint. Stopped in for the $10 lunch buffet on a Saturday. House was disappointingly empty, only three tables with customers. I was a little disappointed by the limited selection at the buffet, but given the reasonable price and the limited head count, I can't blame then. I focused mainly on the chicken makhani, rice and naan. All were very good, although rather mild for my taste (surprising, since I am an admitted spice wimp). But again, this was the buffet and I can't blame them for going on the mild side. For $10, the buffet was a very good deal. Will definitely have to stop in and order off the menu sometime.

  • Leslie P.

Considering other options in Pueblo, this place was great! My only suggestion would be to be more attentive to things that are "out" on the buffet - my colleague loved the chicken, but took the last piece and then no more came out. A bit pricier than most other buffets, but well worth it to avoid a chain, in my opinion. Would go back.

  • Michaela L.

The food was so delicious, and the service was just as great! Samosas were spot on and everything I tried made me want more! I'll be back next time I'm visiting.

Great food and great server busy of course but don't worry you'll be taken care of.. Tried their buffet and they're really good keep it in mind that it was just buffet thats before their dinner.. for Southern Colorado Indian Cuisine I would recommend this place.

Really good Indian food in Pueblo? Go figure. Went to Mr. Tandoori after reading good Yelp reviews and, sure enough, the other reviewers were right on the money. Everything was delicious and met the owner to boot. A charming man who clearly cares about making good food. We live in Colorado Springs and will make a special trip just to go back.

First time at this restaurant! It has been a great experience. This is a type of restaurant that was needed in Pueblo! Great food, the Tandoori chicken is up there with others that I have sampled in London, San Francisco, San Jose, and Chicago. Great atmosphere overall.

This is a wonderful place to eat. Definitely a hidden gem in the downtown area of Pueblo. If you line Indian food then this is the place in Pueblo that you should go. Heck, if I lived in the springs I would make the trek down here. Having traveled all over the world in my former job, I can tell you that the indian food here is excellent. Parmy is a wonderful chef that really does know his food. Just the right amount of spice and flavor. Indian food is a wonderful melange of flavor that hits you at different times. The initial flavor, chew and other flavors, swallow and feel/taste more. Its a wonderful experience. The ambience is great, a no pressure environment where the staff are attentive and friendly. Do yourself a favor and visit Mr Tandoori...

If you are a lover of Indian cuisine, as I am, then this restaurant is a must. The lamb samosas are hearty and delicious , definitely an item that can be shared. The chicken tikka masala is as good as I've had across the country. True authenticity and love is coming through in the food.

Absolutely delicious food! The lunch buffet is a great way to experience a little of everything! The beautiful decor and excellent service makes this place even more wonderful!

Since this is one of Pueblo's top rated restaurants, my colleague and I thought we'd give it a try. It was 5:30pm and the place already had patrons, but we waited at the entrance a few minutes before we were acknowledged. The ambience is nice and the establishment was clean. We sat at a two top and the waitress took our drink order and brought a snack. We ordered the chicken tikka korma and the aloo gobi (both hot), raita, lamb samosas and garlic naan. We were off to a good start, but unfortunately service came to a screeching halt. The samosas arrived timely, but the main dishes took forever and I had to ask four times for the raita. Our glasses were dry and with the heat of my meal I was parched. They remained empty until our departure. We had to explain the separate checks multiple times. I really wanted to like this place, but I've got to give it two stars for the lack of service. The food, however, was good, hot and plentiful. There was enough to share. Go for the food but have low expectations on the service and book plenty of time in your schedule for the long night out.

This is certainly the best Indian restaurant in Colorado. The atmosphere is welcoming, service good and the food superlative. The lunch buffet is the best. They constantly change the selection with new different dishes.

After reading about Mr. Tandoori's online, I decided this would be the perfect place to take my sister to lunch on her birthday. We were so pleased with our entire experience! Food was excellent. Ambiance was relaxing and lovely, from the colorful draped panels to the enjoyable music. The owners went out of their way to make my sister feel special, bringing her some special sauces and even a complimentary piece of delicious mango cheesecake. We both highly recommend Mr.Tandoori Urban Bar &Grlll for an epicurean delight! The lunch buffet had abundant choices and all so delicious! We wish the owners many years of great success and we plan to spread the word to everyone for a dining experience not to be missed!

Passing through Pueblo on the way to Breck. Thought we'd try something different for lunch. It was a great choice! Cool atmosphere as soon as you walk in. They were offering a lunch buffet so we decided to get that bc we couldn't pick one thing off the menu to try. We are not familiar with Indian food, so this was a good introduction. The meatball masala and mushroom masala were my favorites. The saag (creamed spinach) was delicious! It was perfect spread on top of the naan. They had several other dishes on the buffet that were good, too. If you like rice pudding, it was well made. The waitress was friendly and helpful. Oh, and even the ice water had a nice flavor to it. • Tony V.

Mr. Tandoori's restaurant serves a wide range of delicious Indian dishes, including many he creates on-the-spot using locally grown ingredients. The dishes - especially the favorite Chicken/Chicken Tikki Masala - are wonderfully spiced and delicious. Mr. Tandi may also have unexpected items on his menu, depending on the produce of local farms. Great tasting food! But be careful - this is very authentic Indian cuisine - so order the MILD spiced food if you are not sure how hot you like Indian food.

BEST INDIAN FOOD ON THIS WIDE OF THE WORLD!!!! Mr. Candy is a Culinary Genius!!!!! After dining here, the bar for Indian food will forever be set VERY high!!!! prior to dining here, I would tell all my friends that THE BEST Indian restaurant I went to was in the Philippines in the city of Makati....Well, that is now a distant second place, and Mr Tandoori is THE BEST. Go here, and you will not be disappointed at all. This place is truly a gem, and there is not one thing you would find that you do not like. Staff, ambiance, cleanliness, and food are top notch.

  • Michael S.

The four stars is for great service, even though we went for the buffet lunch. The buffet was a three star though. The selection was okay and the flavor was equally passable. Didn't knock my socks off but I wasn't disappointed either. If in Pueblo and craving Indian food, this will do.

    (4)
  • Marci D.

Excellent place to go for a quick lunch. The buffet always has something different on it and the food is fresh and hot. They serve cucumber water, which is a nice touch. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. My only suggestion would be that they seem to keep the AC on pretty high, so bring a sweater.

My husband and I ended up visiting a friend who was temporarily staying in Pueblo, and found this amazing gem! Every single one of the staff members was friendly and the food was AMAZING!!! I highly recommend this place, and it's got an authentic vibe, too!!!

We were driving through Pueblo and decided to try Mr Tandoori based on yelp reviews. This is seriously the best Indian food I have had. The saag paneer was great, the naan was amazing and the rose ice cream...yummy. The service was top notch and the owner came to our table to greet and welcome us! If you enjoy Indian food, this is a must! We live an hour away and will make a trip back to Pueblo just to have great Indian food at Mr Tandoori. Also loved the decor

We are from San Diego passing through found this place on Yelp it is the very finest Indian food we have ever had everything was pristine the dishes the glasses it was absolutely phenomenal and the owner came and talk to us and if you ever get to Pueblo and you like Indian food don't miss this place

Ambiance was chill, service and patrons were friendly. The food looked and smelled really good. I just wish I could've enjoyed it. One piece of advice...STAY AWAY FROM THE MEDIUM SAUCE!!!! There's nothing medium about it. My mouth is still burning.

What a gem in Southern Colorado. Not only is the flavor intense and sumptuous, the adaptation to local meat selections is interesting and well done. The lunch buffet is a great deal. Staff is incredibly attentive and helpful. Decor makes each table feel like a private oasis.

  • Justin H.

This place is really good - surprisingly good for a town that doesn't have an Indian community. The interior of the place is noteworthy, because it's the nicest, most decorated Indian restaurant I've been to. The food was just as great too, but the best had to be the dessert. We had the homemade ice cream (mango and rose flavors) and the cheesecake. Amazingly good.

    (5)
  • Dustin B.

The food was good. I cook Indian/ Mediterranean food and definitely can cook some things better than they do. But definitely worth going to. The servcice is what got me. I recieved very poor service and went back, only to recieve poor service yet again. I have not been back since. DO NOT let my experience stop you from enjoying great authentic food.

This is neither the best nor the worst indian food I've encountered. The lunch buffet is well stocked and provides a great selection to sample for the uninnitiated. I find the spice level to be fairly americanized which, to my pallet, is reflected in fairly mild hints of spice but nothing even mildly hot. The naan was a bit past fresh today, not shocking for a buffet. The service was decidedly mediocre today as well. One server (who was not ours) stopped and spoke with us for a time. Our server mostly scowled and looked as though she didn't want to be there. The owner stopped by the table and I introduce him to my friend as such he scampered away with barely a word; a sharp contrast to my first visit where we chatted amicably for 30min or more. The decor is nice although, I'd imagine, difficult to maintain - lots of draped cloth etc... I've been for lunch and had the buffet on two occasions now. It's a bit pricey and, as I've already said, average. Still, it's the only indian in town and a nice change occasionally.

  • David B.

The food was awesome! I had the Chicken Tika Masala and the Garlic Naan! The masala sauce is wonderfully rich and pairs great with the intense garlic of the naan. I sat at the bar just inside the patio and the service was excellent. Food took less than 15 minutes and was piping hot and fresh! Next time I will sit on the patio where colorful table clothes and a fountain male an impressive statement!

  • K J.

This is the first "small" town (over 100k people, but it still feels small) I have lived in. I can honestly say that the Indian food here is as good as any I've had in Chicago, Phoenix or Miami. The restaurant, itself, is clean and nicely decorated. The service was fine and I absolutely adore their mango lassi - sweet and cool to take the heat off your tongue. We haven't tried their lunch buffet yet, but I'm sure it's as good as their dinner service. They are a little more expensive than what I'm used to for this type of food, but as a treat, it's definitely worth it.

  • Dotti C.

An Indian restaurant in Pueblo? REALLY? Yes! Really! And, it's awesome! The restaurant is small, and we stood waiting for a table for at least 5 minutes. We were acknowledged and the staff kept making sure we knew that a table would be available soon. That made all the difference in whether we stayed or not. We ordered the chicken vindaloo, the lamb with ground walnuts in a coconut cream sauce (which was my favorite) and the okra with tomato & onions. The dishes came with basmati rice, and the meal was served promptly. I think we waited longer to be seated. I will definately be back again to try something from their very vast menu, although it might be fun to go with a bunch of people so we can share more dishes.

Pueblo's Hidden Gem - This quaint restaurant, just off the Riverwalk area, is worth checking out in Pueblo. It has a great ambiance that is great for having a romantic date or for gathering with friends. Their buffet is one of the better Indian buffets I have ever had and I've been to a lot of them. You can't beat the price for the buffet either at $10.00. I will definitely be back time and time again.

I am so glad Pueblo finally got an Indian restaurant! Although I only come back to town once in a while to visit my family, we always make a stop at Mr. Tandoori! The food is wonderful, the service is great, and the outdoor patio is awesome for summer! We came here a few months ago with my whole family (about 10 people), and the restaurant was very accommodating to our needs. We got a plethora of dishes to share, and most of my family, even the picky ones, gobbled it all up! My favorites are the chicken korma and the makhani! They also have this tasty cucumber water, some nice poppadoms to start, and great naan! I can't wait to try their lunch buffet because I've heard it's wonderful! If you're looking for something different, exciting, and fun, you should try this place! I can guarantee that even picky eaters will find something they enjoy on the menu. And if you go on a Friday night, sit outside so you can watch a movie on the patio!

We are from Wisconsin, visiting family in Pueblo. We love Indian food and have some excellent Indian restaurants on Madison. Mr. Tandoori equaled or surpassed them. The food (chicken tikka masala, aloo Gobi, vegetable birhani, and Roti) was excellent, the service was friendly and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere was beautiful. We strongly recommend Mr. Tandoori, and wish we lived close enough to return frequently,

This is great food regardless of what town its in. Parmi and family are all doing their best to offer Pueblo something truly different and delicious, and I hope that everyone will at least give it a try. I can almost guarantee that you will be back if you do! And don't forget to try the Gyronaanwich, a gyro sandwich served in delicious Indian nann bread. Delicious! Great bar as well as restaurant.

  • Christopher S.

As far as I know, this is the only Indian restaurant in pueblo, but it's about as good as anything I've ever had. We recently moved here from Denver and none of the many Indian places up there we're quite this good. The lunch buffet is awesome and everything is always fresh, and it only costs $10! It included meatballs masala, chicken curry, and freshly cooked naan bread among other things. The service is always great and they seem to truly appreciate your business. They are definitely worth a shot if you like Indian food, or if you've never had Indian food and you want to try something different but not weird. Good stuff.

Ohh what an awesome little Indian place with amazing service and food! I've become addicted to this place since I've found it! Can't get enough of the Mango Chicken, cheese naan or samosa! Everything is great and cooked to taste! Staff is amazing!

The service here was amazing. As soon as one course was done there was never more than 5 minutes in between the courses. The food was also very impressive. The meat in the curry was melt in your mouth satisfactory. The portion sizes are enough to feed two growing college kids and have some to take home. This is definitely a place everyone needs to go if they are in the area.

Great Food and Great Family Staff and Ownership. They really care about the business and the food. The owner/chef always is trying new dishes. He shared some Rose Flavored Ice Cream with us. Sounded different but was amazing. Light and pleasent. My entire family loves it there so much. That we decided to have our Company Party there. They were willing to cook what ever we wanted. But I think it would be the best to enjoy the great Indian food. They are also opening up on a day they are normally closed. I cannot wait for the party. I know that the 50 people we have coming will love it. Another think that I love about the place... the owner encourages his employees to be innovated. They made us a Mayan Coffee. Great alcoholic drink. Loved it. A hint: One order will feed more than person so be sure to share the meals. That way you enjoy more of the wonderful flavors.

Went to this place recently based on other reviews. Very underwhelmed. It was a Monday night and 6pm so was quite quiet. The First Lady who waited on us was friendly enough but then the next lady - who could have been the owner, an Indian woman - was downright rude and we felt like we were back in school. She asked us for our order and then proceeded to take a phone call while standing next to us. The starter of samosa was nothing special, and arrived too quickly for my liking...doing suspect was just thrown in the pan and not freshly made. Entree was shrimp masala and was tasteless and bland. I know this place has good reviews but I can't help but think the lack of competition is the reason...this is the only Indian in town I think. I won't be back.

Your biggest concern here will be avoiding gluttony. We just ate the BEST Indian food buffet I've had, ever. The server took care to walk me to the buffet & let me know what was gluten free (almost everything except the bread & breaded cauliflower) & what other foods were safe for my allergies. A lot of choices, everything delicious. Ate two full plates (!) plus finished with some rice pudding that was perfectly seasoned with just the right sweetness. Amazingly good find & this will be a place we return to when we roll through Pueblo. Very clean & friendly staff!

one of the best indian restaurants in southern colorado. the selection is enormous and the quality of each dish is exceptional. all of the different dishes have distinct flavors. vegetarian fair is done very well here. chicken tikka masala is buttery and delicious, tender and full of flavor. atmosphere is unique with bright curtains and fun lights. service is good, very accommodating. its a little expensive, but i get the feeling you pay extra for exotic in pueblo.

Never a bad meal in this joint! I love the buffet Monday thru Friday. It gives you a chance to taste all of the great options that you otherwise might not have tried! Dinner is also great. I love the Aloo saag and the cheese naan. Mango margaritas are to die for by the way!

At mr tandoori in Pueblo Colorado. Beautiful food. Vegan and vegetarian blends. My daughter had the beautiful buffet that is open during lunch time. I had the lentil bean soup. Medium version. Delicious.

Ambiance was chill, service and patrons were friendly. The food looked and smelled really good. I just wish I could've enjoyed it. One piece of advice...STAY AWAY FROM THE MEDIUM SAUCE!!!! There's nothing medium about it. My mouth is still burning.

  • Marci D.

Excellent place to go for a quick lunch. The buffet always has something different on it and the food is fresh and hot. They serve cucumber water, which is a nice touch. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. My only suggestion would be that they seem to keep the AC on pretty high, so bring a sweater.

  • Tony V.

Fabulous food! Excellent service. Parmy is an excellent chef and runs a top-notch restaurant. The decor is fabulous and makes you feel like you're the only table in place. Elegant and yummy. What a great combination.

Amazing Indian food - and great service. Try the lunch buffet to sample everything, then come back for dinner!

  • Rachel S.

I am so glad we found this place!! The food was amazing and so was the service and atmosphere. We will gladly drive an hour out of our way, again, to be able to eat here again. BEST INDIAN FOOD I have had in quite a long long time!!

What a gem in Southern Colorado. Not only is the flavor intense and sumptuous, the adaptation to local meat selections is interesting and well done. The lunch buffet is a great deal. Staff is incredibly attentive and helpful. Decor makes each table feel like a private oasis.

Service is bad and slow slow. We love Indian food but never got to try the food. We ended up leaving after over an hour of waiting at the table without any attention until we told the manager we were leaving.

one of the best indian restaurants in southern colorado. the selection is enormous and the quality of each dish is exceptional. all of the different dishes have distinct flavors. vegetarian fair is done very well here. chicken tikka masala is buttery and delicious, tender and full of flavor. atmosphere is unique with bright curtains and fun lights. service is good, very accommodating. its a little expensive, but i get the feeling you pay extra for exotic in pueblo.
