Always a winner!!!! Everything they serve, that I have had , looks and tastes top notch.. I've been eating here since I was a kid, and it never lets me down. Sweet crust pizza (sounds weird I know) but no way, It's fantastic!! cowboy Caviar is a treat, salads that look and taste fresh. It's clean and the service is always good. Its one of the best spots to eat in Pueblo for sure. Happy eats yelpers!

Great Pizza! This place was recommended to us by a friend and it didn't disappoint. All of the food was good and the pizza is really different and good. It is basically a deep dish pizza (not nearly as think at Beau Jo's) with an awesome semi-sweet crust. It is very good! Our server was very good as well. So overall we definitely had a great experience. We will certainly be back next time we are in the neighborhood.

Really good pizza here. The dough has a sweet taste and their sauce has great flavor. I had the pepperoni pizza. The dough is thick and thus the pizza is really filling. We ordered a medium to share amongst two of us and we took half the pizza home. We also tried the chips and dip, which consists of tortilla chips, kettle style chips and fried tortilla strips, with salsa. They were ok but not great. Also tried the Caesar salad and wasn't a big fan. The lettuce was wilted and the dressing didn't taste like authentic Caesar. So bottom line is go here for the pizza!

Yum. I have been to Do Drop on several occasions with my coworkers during their lunch buffet time, and it's always really good. The dough is an interestingly sweet style that totally works, and the restaurant is apparently a Bessemer institution. Definitely worth a stop.

Pepperoni pizza is fantastic! We also lived the bread chunks, which are basically pizza dough twists with marinara dipping sauce. Everything was fantastic- the service, the food... The only problem we had was not being able to finish our pizza.

I have been here many times. The most recent was Saturday for my nephews graduation. We had a buffet with pizza and pasta. I LOVE the pizza here, it's very unique with a thick, sweet crust. I had never had pasta here prior to Saturday. I was amazed at how delicious it was. Everyone in my family loved it and went back for seconds. I love the pizza, like I said. But now I may have to get both pasta and pizza on my next visit. I only gave it 4 stars cause I think the staff could be a bit more attentive. They are nice enough though.

The beer flavored dough IS sweet and surprisingly good. I had the buffer and was impressed. The meat lasagna was the best! The service was excellent.

Slightly sweet, thick crust pizza with wonderful toppings and an amazing red sauce. Make sure to try one with Pueblo green chiles. And for a early day treat, try their amazing breakfast pizza! I've never had pizza like this anywhere else.

I'm specifically reviewing the Do Drop Inn for inclusion on my BEST PIZZA list, because the pizza here is awesome!!! What makes the Do Drop unique is that they pour TONS of sugar into their dough, giving their pizzas a SUGARY taste when eaten --- yes, it may sound weird, but it is completely unique and it WORKS to perfection, when eating a cheese pizza Due to this unique feature, I sincerely call it home to one of the world's best pizzas! love and peace all!!!

i found a bug in my chai tea. it was gross. the pizza is okay, nothing special outside of the sweet crust. it was thick and greasy. i had the pueblo pizza and it was okay, the green chilies didnt come through. the salad is soaked in dressing and killed with deli cuts.

We were in Pueblo for a few days for a wedding recently. I decided to take the young newlyweds out for a dinner wherever they'd like to go. They wanted to go here, saying it had the best, although different, pizza anywhere. Well, that sounded interesting, although I would have preferred to take them to a nice steakhouse, or Italian. I'd heard Pueblo is known for its dining experience. But it was their choice, so of course we went to this pizza joint. I considered trying the steak, but then looked around and remembered where I was. No, definitely not trying the steak here. I just had a feeling I'd be pouring A-1 over it after the first bite. The buffalo wings were terrible. Microwaved from frozen I'm sure. About what you'd get from delivery. The pizza was nothing special. In fact, I could have heated up a DiGiorno's Pizza in the oven and barely tell the difference. There was a lot of pizza left over and although we did get it boxed up to go, it ended up being thrown out. The salad was good. I ended up back at the hotel eating bagged peanuts and chips. Next time I'm up this way I think I'll stick with Mexican. We had a very pleasant dining experience the day before at the Cactus Flower, which I believe I'll give three stars.

Extremely embarrassed. I was so excited to bring a friend here for my favorite childhood pizza. It started off bad when a bronco game special buy one get one half off was not honored even thought the game had just ended. I should of know to go eat elsewhere. When we got there ee had appetizers cwhere the hot wings were as tough as rubber. Then after hour ,fifteen minutes of waiting even from calling ahead we got cold pizza!!!! Omg I'm so embarrassed that I recommended and was excited to eat here. Never again will I recommend this place.

When you picture an All-You-Can-Eat buffet, a place that looks like Do Drop Inn probably doesn't come to mind. That's because it functions as a normal restaurant and bar too, but my family always comes here while making the trek from Denver to New Mexico. This means that we want food and we want it fast, so always opt for the buffet. Tip Number One: Don't go for a slice of a pie that appears as if it has been sitting out for awhile. Chances are, they will bring out a fresh one in the matter of minutes and it's well worth the wait. The older pizza verges on inedible. Tip Number Two: Stick to the pizza and pasta. I love the unique sweet pizza dough they use for their pies and their spicy sausages are delicious. Unfortunately their other offerings don't live up to the same standard. Last time I "dropped" in I tried their soup that tasted like spicy cheese dip and potatoes that were pretty awful. It's that sweet pizza dough that always has me eating until I am completely stuffed to the point where I don't want to get up. Thankfully, this is the midpoint of our trip so I am guaranteed a two-hour drive down South to let it all digest.

This place is the best place to eat in Pueblo. If you choose to eat some place else you might have a mental problem, I don't know - I'm not a doctor. They have a very diverse menu - the pizza of course is amazing - but so are their sandwiches and entrees are too. The prices are fair and the staff is friendly and cool. LOVE IT. GO. OK!

More like MUST Drop In! Hands down, the best pizza I have ever eaten (and of course have continued to eat each time I am in the area). People will fall on one side of the fence or the other when it comes to Do Drop (this can be found when asking any Pueblo resident). They/you will either LOVE it or HATE it. It being the sweetness of the dough/crust. The dough is made fresh daily and they use beer (pretty sure and according to our waitress) in the dough which makes it sweet. This also makes it take a bit from the time you order to the time you reach Pizza Nirvana. If you know what type of pizza you want, you can call ahead and your pizza can be brought to your table quicker. The staff is always courteous and accurate when I go there and each of my coworkers are amazed when they try it.

18 years later and it is still the best pizza ever. Everything they make is delicious, but there is no beating that crust. Period. And one piece will still fill you. And, oh yeah, it's still good the next morning.

When I come back to Pueblo, my family knows there's only one place to find me and there's one thing I'll be doing -- dining on Do Drop pizza. Is it artery-clogging? Sure -- don't want to know the calorie count. Is the wait unbearable? Yep -- plan on waiting a full 30 minutes from order to table delivery for this deep dish pizza. But boy, is it worth it! What? You've never been to Do Drop? Well, here's some general information for you. The pizza here is thick (more Chicago than New York) and the crust is just a tiny bit sweet (think beer batter dough). I particularly like how pineapple and Canadian bacon interact with the sweet crust. Do Drop serves other food - but none of the dinner items even comes close to the pizza. It's also open for breakfast, but breakfast there is not anything special (basic diner fare.)

Those who think that Do Drop Inn servesgood pizza are crazy. First of all its only a deep dish pizza, which means you get full after having two slices. It is NOT a brick oven pizza, I don;t know why the below review states that it is. Haven't tried other pizzas in town but this is not a pizza place. Maybe a place to have a beer or two.

For us, traveling from Montana to Texas, this was a great stop for a quick dinner when passing thru Pueblo. Just off I-25, you can call ahead, place your order and tell them when you will arrive. They will have your pizza waiting for you with a smile. The pizza is a thicker, sweet crust pizza with a flavorful red sauce and toppings of your choice. They also have a pizza buffet so you can just "Drop Inn". There are lots of other things on the menu if you aren't up for pizza. Nice atmosphere, pleasant waitstaff and a good price point.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
