Excellent chicken and dumplings, when we sat down we were told that they had run out of dumplings, which I found a bit odd considering it was in the middle of the lunch rush. We were told it would only take a mere 15 minutes for fresh dumplings to be ready. We live out east so when we get to Pueblo if it's lunch or supper time this is the only place we will stop at. All of the employees are very friendly and try to make our visit a good one. I have a small service animal we have been in so often some of the hostesses know my service dog by her first name, which she loves because this is the ONLY restaurant where she gets people food! Grace votes four paws up for her small amount of chicken and dumplings! The staff are always helpful with getting me a to go cardboard bowl for her to eat out of.

We have been here several times. Mainly when we are headed to Alamosa to take my stepson back to school. This is always our stop. Not exactly halfway, but close enough. We stop, enjoy breakfast, have coffee and then hit the gift shop and get back on the highway. We have always had great service, friendly waitstaff, and great food. I love grits, so anyplace that makes them (well) automatically gets a gold star in my book. Cracker Barrel is a chain based on a "country" philosphy. Lots of huge servings and many choices in your food. Not the most vegetarian-friendly, but then, that's not their core base. With that said, the veggie amongst us is usually happy and can find things to work for him. We've stopped here over a dozen times. I always feel that I'm guaranteed a good meal here, so I would recommend it. It's not fancy, but always tasty.

Nice little local spot. We try and stay away from the fast food corporate type places. Fast service and friendly people.

It's been years since I have been to one. This one brings back memories of my early youth. Nekole R (my server) has a smile that will well...pardon the cliche' "Light up Toledo". She took the visit over the top. I must say I thought her smile was just customer service, but not once did it waiver. And to my surprise she came by more than 2 times. If i ever able to patron this location again, I will ask for her. The food was very good for a basic breakfast. I had the sourdough French toast combo. What can I say, I am a basic kind of guy. Their syrup is very good with a slight subtle orange flavor to it. Don't ask for too much, those little bottles hold more than they appear to. None the less a great place to eat in small town Southern Colorado. Check out the carrot cake. Ken

It's so disappointing, the soup was cold, had to wait for a soup spoon then it was cold. It's hard to mess up a green salad so that was o.k.

Peach pancake and yogurt parfait is a must give it a shot!!!!! Dropped my work badge in the parking lot once, and got it back from the reception a wk later, trying to give you the gist of this being a honest to goodness kind of place

They are fairly consistent from store to store. It is not super good but then it is almost never really bad. The service is normally pretty good. Breakfast 24 hours a day is a big plus.

I got food and went back to the hotel and they didn't give me utensils so I had to eat like the cave man. They also forgot my cornbread. But the macaroni and cheese and coleslaw were delicious!

I must admit that I didn't think too highly of Cracker Barrel...I'm obsessively healthy and I assumed that everything on the menu would be excessively caloric, but that all changed today. I opted for the grilled chicken salad. The greens were fresh, plentiful and crisp. Mmmmmm. The chicken was perfectly portioned and incredibly tender. Double mmmmmmm! The waitress was so sweet and went out of her way to ensure that we had everything we desired. I forgot about the peg game at each table--the perfect way to pass the time before the meal arrives. I also enjoyed perusing the general store before our trip home. Thanks to Cracker Barrel, I am now a proud owner of a half pound bag of Sixlets candies.

We ordered take out from Crackle Barrel today. They didn't include one of my child's meal, Any condiments at all, and the chicken and dumplings were basically a piece of chicken and some biscuits.

I loved this Cracker Barrel! Best one ever! The service was amazing! Our waitress, Angela, and the rest of the staff were all very pleasant. I wish more restaurants could have this same kind of service. Awesome!

Excellent food and service. Cracker Barrel never fails to deliver on their consistency and taste. Everyone is always so helpful and nice. Their store had a great selection of goodies to chose from. I never leave there disappointed.
