I found Country Buffet to be on the expensive side for pretty basic buffet food. I would definitely recommend signing up for the buy one get one coupon. I did enjoy the carved meats a lot! The staff were very pleasant also.

Not so good. Having lunch and the server didnt even come to the table for a long time because she was talking to another server for about 15 minutes. Decuded to have a salad and the mushrooms and olives were frozen to the sides of the container. Then I wanted to have some regular dinner. Had green beans with Zero flavor, mashed potatoes that are instant and my salad plate was on the table for quite some time. The bathroom is also extremely far away from everything. This is a place where elderly people eat and use walkers. There is no way some of them can make it that far to go to the bathroom. Just a really bland place. No flavor and smells like old grease. Sticky floor on the carpet. Pass it up and go to Applebee's.

There were no forks in the bins at the salad bar so I asked one of the employees for forks and she said, "the forks are over there" and pointed to another area. Then another customer asked for a fork and she told them the same thing.

Management contacted me about my poor experience at this restaurant and offered me 2 free dinners. This time I went with a guest on a Friday night. It was busier, but the food still wasn't great. The food that was eaten was promptly replaced, so a few dishes were hot and fresh, but any dish that wasn't super popular was lukewarm. I appreciate the offer by management, but I have to say that I'm still disappointed. This isn't exactly a budget place. Dinner is about $10 per adult plus $2 for drinks. That's about the same as getting an entree and drink at many sit down casual restaurants, so I expect food of about the same caliber. This restaurant seems to be good for two groups of people: people with lots of young kids and people who just want to eat a lot. Since the fee for kids varies by age I could see a family with lots of young kids being able to eat at an affordable price, and I'd imagine that a family with lots of kids isn't looking for the best food or atmosphere. ...and if quantity is more important than quality, then I think this is also the place for you. Unfortunately for me, I don't fall into either category, so I don't think I'll be back.
