Oh I am in love with B Street Cafe! It hit on all cylinders when we enjoyed breakfast. It wasn't crowded and the sidewalk tables were not out, so we snuggled into the adorable little booth for two by the front window. The decor is gorgeous, true to the historical architecture, and comfortably elegant. Our server was a lovely woman with a great laugh and wonderful smiling eyes. She was friendly, personable, and super efficient. On top of all the context, the food was sublime. I had the french toast (not to be missed, heavy cream and nutmeg....yum) and the huevos rancheros minus beans. It was delicious. My dining partner enjoyed a traditional breakfast and we ate that stuff ALL UP. The coffee is strong and flavorful. I can't wait to return!

More and more I'm finding that places don't know that artisanal food doesn't automatically mean good food. Slapping some trendy dishes together isn't cooking and certainly isn't tasty. The decor at this cafe is attractive and whimsical, but the service is very slow and the food is just poor. My husband's burger was from frozen as was the completely undercooked and still cold chicken in the salad. Actually had to spit it out! The sweet potato soup was loaded with some kind of animal fat. The bread stale and dry. Finally, the fries were less potato than grease, soggy, and cold. Weak coffee.

Where to start with the debacle that is the B Street Cafe. My wife and I went on a Saturday a few weeks ago for lunch. I run a small business in town and generally wrap up around noon at my shop, head home then my wife eat in or out. Today was the out. By the time that we got there it was 1:45, late on the lunch side but seeing as how it was Saturday it should have been rather easy to get a table (it was) and given that its toward off hours the rush should have died down. The thing is, because of the park and not knowing if it was enforced on Saturday, I checked my watch EXACTLY before going into the restaurant. I actually got a ticket once (on a weekday) around my shop so I am rather diligent about checking. Got parking right outside just up in front of the other shop just towards Union then headed in. Cute place. One table outside with 4 people, I think 4 of them and they look like they were wrapping up. Another booth inside was populated and against the other side of the restaurant a table of 2 had their bill out on the table and was wrapping up. 3 servers that I could tell. A gent with a beard and 2 women. There are like 4-5 booths against the left wall, one was occupied with an older couple so we took the booth next to them closer to the kitchen. We walked right by the waitress to get to our seat, (the gent with the beard seated us) The waitress, one that I assume was ours, was talking with the booth next to us. About herself. A lot. Who knew that customers would be so fascinated by her hobby. Talking about herself. We waited and waited. I would have cried but I was a little parched, thankfully the gent with the beard came by after about 10 minutes and asked us if we wanted waters, we did. I don't think he would have done that as I am positive that we weren't in his section, but he knew we had been waiting. My assumption was that he was the server for the outdoor tables, the talking waitress was for the booths, and there was one other woman for the indoor tables. The kicker on that was he threw a look at the waitress that was having a grand old time regaling the couple next to us with stories about herself. I could tell it was the look that said "I am not stealing your table, get over here and do your job". Don't think she saw the look, she was too busy talking to the couple about herself. Did I mention that she talked about herself a great deal? The waitress we assume was ours was has been talking about herself to the booth right next to ours for almost 20 minutes. I kid you not. 20 minutes and she hasn't glanced towards us once. She was too wrapped up in her 10,000 word eye glazer that is her life story compared in prose and scope to Beowolf. Sure there are no trolls or dragons, but it added to my life to know that she was having her headshots done for an audition somewhere. I am sure that the couple in the booth applauded enthusiastically between the long breaths this waitress was taking in just to keep the Nepalese monk like drone of her life story going. It started to get that deep throat singing quality to it wrapped up in a teased out brunette haired, white running shoes and denim package. The other female server had gotten the other couple that were paying when we came in out the door as they had paid their bill. That server started doing the downside of lunch cleanup around the restaurant. Our server was still talking to the other table. About herself. I would have interrupted to clue her into the reality that she was a waitress and she had customers sitting there waiting for her to actually do her job on, but I am sure somehow that the universe wanted her to tell these people about what she had been doing that weekend, besides not waitressing of course, her endeavors at the good old B Street were conspicuously absent from her life spiel. Probably because there were none. Now there are 2 tables in the restaurant that are populated and one outside. 3 servers. Do the math. We were one of them. We waited until about 15 minutes after the hour before we got up and left , so for the mathematically challenged that is 30 minutes without the bardic inspiration known as the B street waitress making her presence known either through eye contact or just something verbal. I do not think that the chatty waitress that loved herself so much even knew that we were there, though I don't know how that is possible unless she was so totally self absorbed that she didn't see 2 people with a service dog walk right behind her and sit down in the booth right nearby. Which in hindsight is probably what happened. Surprised she wasn't staring in a mirror asking who was the most beautiful and handing out poisoned apples to customers so they wouldn't bother her with trivial things like doing her job. It really was that bad. The icing on the cake was that when we were leaving the other female server called out "Have a nice day" as we were leav

The ambiance was nice and we liked the outdoor seating. However, we came for Sunday brunch and were underwhelmed by the quality of the food. For $10 a plate (not including coffee), the selection was lackluster at the buffet. French toast was bland, potatoes were burned. Service was great and we enjoyed the look of the place, but we won't be returning for the food.

I really enjoyed B street cafe. It's a very relaxing, inviting atmosphere. The woman working is so accomodating and friendly and the food is delicious. I indulged in a B street omlette with avocado. Super tasty, and the coffee is just right. Much appreciative of this little breakfast spot it's a gem.

Stopped in for to have lunch before a client meeting while in town. Serves breakfast and lunch, has both indoor and outdoor seating. Cute homey style decor with the checkerboard tablecloths and napkins. Lunch menu consists of sandwiches, burgers and salads and soups. Free Wifi too!

Good food and coffee. Cafe inside has great decor and a wonderful outside seating area. Staff was extremely nice but service seemed slow.

Great breakfasts, great Mexican food when it is on special, love the patio right in front of the historic Train Depot, and great service. All food is fresh and home made. Their chili is made with roasted Pueblo chilies. The desserts are excellent and made fresh by the owner. Had the bacon panini today with the soup CPC (chicken, potato and chili), very tasty.

Enjoyable outdoors for breakfast on weekends. The neighborhood needs more like it. Service a bit slow when seated outside.

What a great little cafe! Lovely upscale wood decor inside! Also the patio in the front of the cafe is surrounded by tons of beautiful flowers and red umbrellas. It's a perfect setting across from the old train station in the Historic Union Avenue District. Try their veggie omelettes! They are fabulous! Our group has breakfast there every Monday! Their waitress, "Fatima" is a complete joy! She's one of the reasons we love this cafe!!

Great omelet with good ingredients. The fried potatoes are delicious. The service is good too. I ordered corn tortillas with my omelet and they were stiff like a card board. No fresh salsa or fresh avocado available.

I find the mixed review perplexing. This is a lovely lovely cafe, especially by pueblo standards. Beautiful inside, cheerful attentive service, has been a cafe since 1920. I had the huevos rancheros and it is non traditional, served on their homemade potato chips rather than on tortilla chips. But this is clearly delineated on the menu and they were A+ excellent. The coffee was astoundingly good as well. I'll definitely be back.

B street is amazing. The sum total of food service atmosphere and pricing make this a favorite for my wife and me. Can not go wrong. News on the street is A+. B no better in our opinion

My husband and I decided to try this very cute little cafe. We both ordered the b street omelet which says comes with chorizo but truly was ground beef. I asked for toast but never received it. Our server never offered more coffee nor any answers to our questions. The other server was exceptional and very helpful. So although our service was terrible and the omelet not what we expected although good we will be back thanks to the other server on duty.

I saw a veggie burger on their menu so I decided to give it a try for lunch. I choose to sit inside as I was working outside most of the morning, everyone else sat outside on the sidewalk seating. Veggie burger was good, nothing outstanding. My server was great. The pricing was reasonable.

This small cafe was great. We went for breakfast as a party of 15 (which nearly overwhelmed their staff and capacity). But even with a group as large as ours, the service was great, and the food delicious. A definite must for anyone wanting a good meal!

Had a lovely breakfast at B Street. The biscuits and gravy were great and filling. The breakfast burrito was huge. I also love that they serve klobase, italian sausage and potica for breakfast. The outdoor seating is also very wonderful. This is our favorite sit-down breakfast place in Pueblo.

We decided to try the B Street Cafe for breakfast since there were so few options for breakfast in downtown Pueblo. The Pantry, our first choice, was closed for vacation so we were at a loss for other options. As we'd had lunch with a Pueblo friend at B street a couple of years ago, we thought we'd give B Street a try again, one Yelp negative review notwithstanding. It was a great day to sit outside so that's the option we chose, good view of the train Depot. The outdoor seating area at B Street is pleasant and nicely shaded. DH ordered huevos rancheros, one of his all-time breakfast favorites, seeking to substitute meatless salsa for the green pork chile. The server had some difficulty understanding that he did not want meat. When the order arrived, the salsa was on the side and the huevos consisted of scrambled eggs with a side of potatoes. When the server returned dh asked if this was huevos rancheros and the server said it was and asked if it was ok. My dh said huevos traditionally come on a tortilla with retried beans and salsa. The server cheerfully volunteer to bring a side of refried beans at no extra charge. For what it was, the meal was ok but this was definitely not huevos rancheros. Meanwhile I had asked for milk when we first sat down and ordered coffee as I don't care for artificial creamers. I waited and waited and when we finally got our meal, asked the server again and then got the milk. My eggs over medium and bacon were fine, the potatoes reminded me of my favorite potatoes from Eatt in Chicago, just not quite as yummy, a cross between potato chips and home fries. We don't get why Pueblo doesn't have more traditional breakfast places but next time we come to town we'll probably take a pass on B Street Cafe for breakfast. It was ok, but not the greatest way to start the day.

Here from Oakland, California and found B Street Cafe with Yelp. Food, service and atmosphere all terrific. Green chile and eggs were perfect.

Food was not very good while prices were high for what you received. Will not be going back.
