This Meal. *head explode* So. Good. So ****ing good. Delicious. Great beers on tap. Delicious Mojito. The most amazing burgers. Johnny Cash on. Awesome ambiance. Beautiful view. Friendly server, bartender, and chef. I had a veggie patty on a sammy w goat cheese, wild mushrooms, tomato, arugula, onion and truffle oil. Amazing buns. Hehe. Now on w the remaining thousands of miles road trip. So good. Best food on the road yet- 1,000 miles in 8 days.

This place was fantastic. Clean. Newly appointed. Great lawn area with space to hang out outdoors. Wonderful restaurant with locally sourced food. Ian is fantastic. The staff work their butts off and are very friendly. Walls were a bit thin. And there was only one staff member there in the morning. She had to manage phones, food, and cappuccino maker. I felt bad for her. But I very much enjoyed my latte!! So close to telluride- it was perfect! Love the vibe.

We stayed here one night, in late July. It is in a beautiful location, under canyon walls, and a river across the road. The hotel is beautiful and authentic, staff was very friendly and helpful, and the morning breakfast was well laid out and creative. Our room was clean, and large for $105 a night which was a steal for the quality. The rooms have outside access and balcony with seating. We also had dinner here, as they have a restaurant on site. Food was great and affordable. I will stay here again when visiting the Telluride, CO area!

Came back a year later and still feel the love... what a great place for sophisticated comfort foods. Appetizers of korean BBQ wings and onion rings were super tasty. Our dinners were an A-Merican burger, linguine with grilled chicken in cream sauce and chicken pot pie. Each was just so good... only one of us had leftovers (and she snacked before dinner). This is a great place for apres ski or adventure. Big portions, friendly service, sports on TV bars (with plenty of dining tables) and a pool table. In nice weather, you can eat outdoors, also a treat. Worth the 15-minute drive from Telluride if you want to escape resort food and atmosphere.

Great food and beautiful location. We had Sunday brunch on the outside patio. I ordered a veggie power omelet and my boyfriend ordered eggs Benedict. Our friend Sheri M ordered the turkey club. Everything tasted great. Reasonable prices and they had a very good selection on the menu. Our server was a little out of it - don't know what was going on with her. We had to flag down another waitress to take our order and again to get the check. But other than that everything was fine. Definitely would go back!

This was a great find when driving around the outskirts of Telluride. The Inn would be a nice, very clean place to stay with good service. We stopped for lunch and the food was terrific, we had burgers and fries all very good. Nice outdoor patio too!

We were super excited to stay at The Angler Inn Lodge just outside of Telluride. All the accommodations in town were booked and/or out of our price range. The rooms are big and clean with nice linens. It is a small lodge with a bed and breakfast type of feel. It includes a continental breakfast with fruit, bagels, fresh waffles, yogurt, cereal, etc. My husband says they tasted like good waffles, not just flour and water. The have Keurig coffee/tea machine for any time use. The room we had with the kiddos were 2 real queen beds, not doubles posing as a queen. Out back they have a hammock and bean bag toss, etc. We had a blast hanging out in the evening. They do have a proper restaurant that has in door and outdoor seating, it was beautiful while were there. It is just 13 miles way, about a 20 minute drive from Placerville to Telluride. We ended up booking a second night during our Colorado adventure...we highly recommend it....good price, good value, and good service!

One of my favorite stops up in the mountains. Great dark beer, excellent food, great friendly service and a beautiful building. I love this place. My husband and I stop there every time we ride in the mountains on our bikes . This is our favorite destination.

I'm very glad this location opened up under new ownership. We went for Sunday Brunch and it was all amazing. The hollandaise sauce was spot on and they received an extra star for quality coffee. I went into town at 221 for brunch and it was a disappointment. Do yourself a favor and make the drive to the Angler for a great getaway.

We had dinner there last night after a long day of errands in Montrose and Grand Junction. Was really looking forward to their awesome fish tacos but they were out! They were also out of two other menu items that we asked about. To be fair, one of us had a beef burger and another had a black bean burger that were very good but if you have a very limited menu - and this one is - you should have every thing on the menu. Our server was assiduously polite but spent most of her time yucking it up with the boys at the bar. Cheez, have they heard of management??

The excuse was "busy" due to July 4 week (hard to predict I suppose). There was no fish special (only a shrimp dish which is not a Colorado specialty for sure). We had (after 50 minutes), an inedible chicken pot pie arrived with an incredibly sweet cornbread topping and a highly salted chicken stew. We also had a pork chop that was overcooked and tough, though the grits were pretty good. On the positive side was a pleasant kale salad. Given the poor service (our waitress failed to return to our table for 20 minutes after the salad was served and another server eventually took over) and the poor quality food, one has to wonder if the website was stolen from Allreds and the chef was in fact fired from there.

Great food and good service, much more vegetarian friendly than most places around as well.

We read about this place on Yelp as we drove by on our way to Telluride. We turned around and made a reservation. The place has a lot of charm. Also has attention to little details i.e. coffee and tea station in the hallway, water bottle and mason jar cups in the room. Super clean. Beds were comfortable and room was very quiet. The restaurant was amazing! Ordered the filet with smashed potatoes and squash. The steak was tender like butter. Potatoes tasty with a demi-glace glaze. The workers are super accommodating and nice. Had some leftovers and they put them in the fridge for us for our lunch the next day. Free wi-fi. There is also a private balcony off your room with a table and chairs. There is a side yard for guests with a fire pit and darts and bean bag toss. We enjoyed sitting by the fire after playing bean bag toss. Hammock to curl up and read a book or take a nap. Breakfast was nice. Hard boiled eggs, bagels, muffins, English muffins, fruit, cereal, juice. Nice and quiet and relaxed. Don't know what it would be like in peak times but nice after school started. Really a charming find. If we are in the area again, I would love to come back.

Everything we tried was awesome. One of the specials that day was a Pork Belly Slider that was really amazing. The Chipotle Fries were very good and the Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich (fresh choc chip cookies) is a must.

Friendly, good food. Nice beer selection. Reasonable prices. Great location. Only glitch was the size of the crab cake appetizer. It's literally one bite. We were joking about other names to give it.
