My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary last week. The staff was very friendly, and the scenery was gorgeous! Loved the Room in the Meadow, sleeping under the skylight we could see hundreds of stars.. Breakfast was wonderful also, we will be back!!

My friends got married here in September, and it was a truly fantastic wedding. They rented out the whole bed and breakfast for a three-day weekend, had the wedding in the field on Saturday, and invited the bridal party and the out of town guests to stay in the rooms. The bride and groom had their own cabin in the meadow -- so romantic! What a charming place! My husband and I stayed in the Colorado Sun room, which had so many amenities: a kitchenette, private hot tub, double-sided fireplace, two-person shower, and even a sauna! The whole B&B had just a ton of history and character. The furnishings were all super comfortable, with a relaxed, rustic vibe. A few things needed some updating and fixing, though. There was no hot water from the kitchen sink of our room because the little under-sink water heater was broken. One of the baseboards had come lose in the bathroom and there was tons of mold on the drywall. The water up there is well water, and it was incredibly soft; hard to wash the shampoo out of your hair, and it tasted NASTY. Definitely consider bringing your own bottled drinking water if you're going to stay a few days. The breakfast part of the bed and breakfast was pretty good. Two of the staff came up each morning to cook and serve hearty potatoes, sausage, eggs, fruit salad, coffee, orange juice, etc. It wasn't particularly good, but it was nice to have a hot, served meal that wasn't pizza delivery. We ate breakfast outside, where the bees were a nuisance because they wanted all of our food. We had just a fantastic weekend up here! Definitely the best wedding I've ever been to. I would highly recommend Meadow Creek for events of all kinds, but especially if you want to rent out the whole place.

Hidden treasure, I really enjoyed staying in the Columbine room. Great for a weekend getaway, or to have a wedding. Loved it!

I absolutely love Meadow Creek B&B!! :D My wife and I have stayed there a handful of times for quiet, relaxing weekend getaways (our favorite room is the Sun Suite!) and every time was nothing short of amazing. And every time my wife and I were welcomed with open arms by Rob and his staff and of course the family dog, Kelly the "official" inn greeter. :) This hidden gem is close enough to civilization (stores, restaurants, shopping, etc...), yet off the main highway so you feel like you are in your own little world. The breakfast was always great too When I asked my then-girlfriend to marry me, we didn't think twice as to where we would hold our wedding this past July (2013), but of course at Meadow Creek. The day was nothing short of amazing, just like all our other stays. Rob and the staff went out of their way - and over my expectations - to make our day special and the wedding party feel very welcomed. My wife and I will be back next year to celebrate our anniversary.

We came here for my daughter's wedding. Definitely not your typical B&B. The location is terrific,Scotty is an excellent chef, and Heidi is a wonderful host. I highly recommend it.

I am definitely biased but this is a knock-out wedding venue. We attended a wedding here and had our own here as well. Their reception hall is beautiful and right there on-site. The ceremony area with the gazebo in the meadow was so nice! Our musicians sat in the gazebo during the ceremony. This venue was perfect for us with 75 guests. We rented the whole place so older family members and the parents could stay on site. The honeymoon suite is really a private cabin set up in the woods and they bring a lovely breakfast up to your room. The skylight in the honeymoon suite was so nice and the large suite in the B and B proper is large and perfect for getting dressed and getting ready. The patios with their white lights and multiple layers are great for a rehearsal dinner (we got rained out but no problem! we had ours inside the reception hall). The staff/owners are so friendly and helpful and will work with you and your vendors for a memorable experience. We were married here 5 years ago and our guests still repeatedly tell us it was the most beautiful place they've ever been for a wedding.

A group of us rented out this bed and breakfast. Being involved in business, I am fairly familiar with the bed and breakfast scene. Typically the home owner will work around the group, even dividing breakfast into an early morning and late morning event to accommodate flights etc. After all, what is the true purpose of a bed and breakfast but to provide a more personal catered experience than a hotel. Half of our group was leaving early whereas the other half was leaving late. This owner did not accommodate us at all. Instead told us brusquely that breakfast was served at 9am and then when questioned about early breakfast he stated he would "show us how to turn the coffee machine on." He commented on some stale sweets that looked like they had been under glass for a few days. The rooms were dated, but clean. I was very disappointed with this stay, I paid a high price for a room I was barely in and did not get breakfast. If you have a tight schedule, perhaps you are better looking elsewhere.
