Best wings in Colorado! What makes the wings so good? They're a good size wing and what's unique is that they're cooked in a cast iron skillet... And the wings come out sizzling hot on to the table. The pizza is also good.

The 80s died and came back to haunt us at this place. The decor and music is the definition of why people make fun of suburbia. The food is good, but there's no way I will ever dine here again, unless I am trying to prank someone that hates themed restaurants. Take a hard rock cafe, mix in some Chili's and then acid wash te whole thing and you have The Rock. Blerg.

This is our favorite pizza place nowadays - the crust is great! Hubby *loves* the dry rub wings - a tiny bit spicy and very tasty (a bit salty for me though)... Happy hour specials are really good too. I read another review saying they were trying to be like Hard Rock Cafe, but I actually prefer this food over Hard Rock's food.

Over priced for what you get. Over a hundred and that was with 2 kids meals. Pizza just shouldn't b that pricy. Cool decor , that needs paying for.

A group of about 20 called ahead to advise we were coming for lunch. They had the tables reserved in the bar where 2 of the tables were the higher tables and chairs. We are all seniors and didn't find it comfortable to "climb" up into the chairs especially when the restaurant only had a few customers. I ordered the vegetable sandwich wrap and when I picked it up there was a long hair hanging out. When the server finally came back to the table, I asked her to replace it and she took my dish away and never apologized or sent a manager by. Service was slow out of the kitchen, the server was not friendly or attentive. I eat out often and will not be back here.

I ordered a personal pepperoni pizza tonight. I would say it was just okay, I have had better. Not sure if I will be back. Sorry......:(

Ordered an appetizer and then 5 minutes later ordered 2 side salads and a pizza. Salads came first, followed shortly by our appetizer. Another 5 minutes after that our pizza came out when we were a halfway through our salads and had not even started eating our appetizer which we should have been eating first anyway. Arg! Pizza was supposed to have carmelized onions. They were still a little crunchy and no carmelization at all. Boo. Crust was soft which I thought strange for wood fired pizza. I thought it would be crusty and chewy (which I like). Beer was just ok. Not a lot of flavor. Salads were average. Ordered onion ring for the appetizer and they had a sweet dipping sauce which I didn't really care for because the onions rings are naturally sweet. I spicy sauce would have complemented better. Overall, I've been to many pizza places where the food is way better and I was disappointed in the service as far as the timing of when our food came out.

In a town where there aren't very many good places to eat or hang out, particularly after nine pm , this place fills both needs. We ordered the double vision drinks which had a good amount of alcohol and were tasty as well. We also ordered the 'crazy train' pizza. The crust was scrumptious and the toppings tasted fresh. The service was also polite and timely. I will be back for sure.

If you want to have a conversation, don't go here...music way too loud especailly if the restuarant is not crowded...We found the burgers to be excellent as were the brews. The pizza with white sauce was fine however the red sauce pizza was skimply on the sauce as was the meat portion and they charge premium prices. The menu is creative but execution on the red sauce pizza was lacking. A rather rude server was quickly replaced with an excellent one who would be a delight to have take care of you anywhere. Given how competative the pizza market is, there's better value out there for you hard earned buck. Go there for the happy hour in the bar before paying fulll price.

  • Danean D.

Service was just ok.I got the Low Rider personal pizza for lunch which was good except the very end of the crust was so hard I almost broke my tooth trying to eat it. They jack up their prices in order to pay for the fancy brick decor. Over-rated...I recommend just going for happy hour if you're single.

I think I am going to have to institute a 2 visit rule before I Yelp. My first visit to The Rock was great so I gave it a 4 star review. Today I visited again (because I loved it so much the first time) and had a horrible meal with bad service to boot! Like I said before, the Rock decor is kind of rock 'n roll Vegas. It is sort of a watered down Hard Rock. I like the decor and the music so this is a plus for me. Not to mention, there are lots of booths (my preference) and the tables are spaced out nicely so that you don't feel packed in while eating. The food is pizza, burgers and pasta. The first time we came I tried the California Dreamin (A white sauce pizza topped with chicken, fresh pesto, sun-dried tomatoes, pine nuts, garlic and mozzarella) and really loved it. It was light and flavorful. They do wood fire their pizza's so you get a bit of char on it (although they didn't over do it). Today, I had a burger called the Burger Man (Chipotle seasoned 1/2 lb. of flame broiled angus beef with chipotle mayo, jack cheese, peppered bacon, tomato and crispy fried onions). It had to be the worst burger I have had in a long time. The toppings has zippo flavor and the one thing that did have flavor was the meat, but for the wrong reasons - it was greasy AND tasked almost freezer burned. At first I thought it was the chipotle seasoning that was off, but my hubby had a plain burger with nothing on it it and it had the same weird taste. I didn't even eat half. It was awful and so was my hubby's. The fries were good. So we ate those! Our service here has been spotty. Good last time with an attentive waitress. Bad this time with an absent waitress who was slow on refills and even slower on the check - which was ended up being wrong (over charged and then billed for the wrong item). Just a bad overall experience today. So it isn't the slam dunk I thought it was at first. I would suggest you stick with the pizza if you come, the burgers are not worth it!

Great pizza. Great atmosphere. Excellent service from Sam. She really ROCKS The Rock.

Came in for dinner at 7 on a Monday, the place was dead....now we know why :( We came here when the place first opened, the service was great, the food was pretty good, but last night our experience was not so good. They sat us in the bar when the restaurant was empty, with our son. The older man waiting on us seemed to be the manager who was also the bar tender? The food was just ok, not nearly as good as it once was. The service was lacking and our drinks were not filled to the top of the glass...... I this place will soon join the dying restaurants in that area such as Carinos that is now closed.

Sam provided excellent service. Food was very good. Margarita could have been better.

  • Christian S.

I think the Rock in general is overrated. The pizza is good but overpriced and that's kind of how I feel about everything in there. It seems like every item should be $2-$5 less expensive then it is. I will say their service was fine the times I did eat there and the food is good which is why I'm giving it three stars but for the price there are much better options.

Decent service, the pizza was by far delicious I had the meat pizza. Later towards the end I did notice a good bit of grease from my pizza. Really delicious though!

This was my first visit here, since I am mainly up north. I came with 2 friends and we enjoyed some really good food together. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo and it was really good, the sauce was creamy and had little bits of garlic. My meal also came with a little muffin bread thing on top, and that was great dipped in the sauce. My one comment is that today when I heated up my leftovers the sauce didn't separate, which is great, but it makes me wonder if it was made in-house or pre-made because generally fresh sauces split when you microwave them. Either way, it was a pretty good sauce. The reason this place got 4 stars all comes down to one thing- the brown sugar mozzarella bread! Oh. My. Goodness. It is really great, I even ordered more to take home so that my husband could taste it. He loved it too! Don't skip it, it make the meal (and life) better.

So my fiance & I went here for the first time....not good. We ordered nachos. There was suppose to be 2 different types of cheeses and instead it was cheese sauce. Disappointing. Then all of a sudden...across the table. There was a gigantic spider! !!! Seriously. It was huge and grey. . Just sitting on top of the both. I was quite scared & the gals that were working were freaked out as well... On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give it a 1... the cocktails were very tasty. We cer certainly won't go there again. Denn & Francine.

Saturday night and not busy? Cool we can get in and out. The table wasn't clean the food was mediocre the decor was neat and our waitress Sam was awesome. But overpriced. Will not be back should have gone to red robin across the street.

I like the rock but this location was the worst it took 2 hours and we sat ourselves down. Finally after seated the table was still dirty and the staff was unorganized took another hour to get our drinks. And after another 30 minutes we decided to leave because no food came to our table we will never come to this location again.

Love this place. Big enough there's rarely a wait. Pizza is excellent...one of the few places my kids will always eat. Our server was Sam and she ROCKS.

  • Nick A.

A very soft three stars for the pizza. Five stars for Sam the waitress. She's the best! :-) We ordered the large "Bang a Gong" specialty pizza. $23. Pizza was just OK and not worth the premium price. , It was served lukewarm. The flavor was quite good, lots of different tastes in the pizza. Didn't taste any of the wood-fired flavor though. I was surprised about that. The crust was lackluster and soggy, and the pizza was on the greasy side. Nice casual family atmosphere plenty of screen some sporting events going on.. Not too noisy It's a nice place to meet a friend and talk. . Parking lot is fine and they have free Wi-Fi so you got to like that! Yelpers be sure and check in here there for some free mozzarella bread with your Yelp check-in. My niece eats gluten-free and she loves this place because they have some really good gluten-free pizza. If you're in the area I'd say it's worth checking out because of the nice atmosphere and the friendly staff. They have plenty of other things on the menu, such as burgers, but pizza is the specialty. My friend says the pizza was excellent and she disagrees with my three star rating of the pizza, but we both agree that Sam the waitress is definitely five stars!

The original Rock is from my hometown. Not that that has any relevance to this review. I've actually been to this location a couple of other times, but my review is for the most recent. I found the service compulsory. They did everything that a server should do, but it felt like they were put out to be doing it. Apparently, somebody called in sick or late or something. How do I know that? They had what seemed to be a lot of off the clock staff sitting at the bar area; and some of the conversations about customers and how they tipped were probably best if held NOT at the place of business. But mostly my review is because I ended up having some serious gastro issues after eating here. Like whoah. NO BUENO!!

  • Brooke B.

I work in a pizza restaurant, so I try really hard not to be bi-est! BUT there pizza is really good, even the gluten free.. it doesn't taste like cardboard like most places. The sauce is nice a sweet, and the garlic bread cheese is delicious. You can tell it is a brick over cooked pie. Finally people have good pizza to get in Parker... My mother and I went in about a week ago, we had a server (male) who had ginger hair :) and he was great! Its not hard to judge other servers while being out to dine. He did great with the expectations I have. We will back very soon, I wonder how "fun" the night scene is with all the décor and music. Thank you!

Sam was wonderful! The wings are by far the best! The wings are red chili sweet. Not impressed by the fettuccine. Our service was great. Sam took great care of us. We really like the rock and look forward to coming back to have some more wings!!

Love this place. Great neighborhood place to stop for drinks and food. The brown sugar mozzarella bread is the BEST app ever, hands down. Came in today and service with Ashley was awesome. They have a new full page of gluten free options. If you're not GF try the Dry Dock Apricot Blonde on tap with the mozzarella bread. There was even a free order for checking in here!

  • Mikael A.

I am SO disappointed! We've ordered from here on two different occasions and I love the White Christmas, so when my family was visiting we decided to order a couple pizzas and garlic mozzarella bread. And it's not cheap. $45 for a 16 in pizza, a 9 in pizza, and 1 order of mozzarella bread. We picked it up 25 minutes after we ordered it, on time, and drove to our house like two minutes away, and immediately started eating because we were starving, and it was so cold and hard! It had obviously been overlooked and then left to sit! And one of the pizzas and some of the mozz bread was burned! Ridiculous. They shouldn't serve burned food. I called to give feedback because everyone was really unhappy and it was such a drastic difference from previous experiences, and apparently the manager was in a meeting, and the lady on the phone was a total B, and claimed it was warm when she boxed it, blah, blah, excuses. She said we could bring the pizza back and get a new one, but I'm not wasting my time to bring back crappy pizza to receive another pizza that would probably get spit on and deal with the witchy hostess. This hostess needs some serious people skills lessons. And quality control needs to step it up. Those pizzas should not have gone out. They were so hard to chew, my mom even stated her "teeth needed a work out anyways". This place is so dead to us. It's one thing to send out a bad pizza on accident, but to be completely ungracious about it? That's not very good customer service. We are over "The Rock" for sure.

  • Phillip G.

My friend and I only came in for drinks but I love the decor and our server. The bartender can even play VJ, choosing what videos to watch. The whiskey flights are awesome and reasonably priced. The best part is the music was there for ambience and not to be obnoxiously loud forcing people to shout to be heard. Everything was very comfortable. However, for a Rock n Roll restaurant, there were a few menu items that I'm surprised I did not find: Melton John - Grilled Cheese Sandwich Peanut Butter & Pearl Jam sandwich Pink Floyd Wish You Were Beer (it would be a proper English Ale or Porter) John Cougar Mellancampfire stew with chunks of venison or beef Soundgarden - a noisy salad Smashing Pumpkin Pie Bananarama Split Meatloaf with a side for Anything for Spud I'll be back for the food at least one more time while I'm in town!

If your only going here for drinks... Good! The food was awful. We had the nachos with chicken and the chicken must have gone bad because I was sick later that night. We won't go back...ever

This was my first visit today to this chain. I found out that they have only been open about a month. I placed an order to go over the phone. The gal on the phone was very courteous. She took my name and number and repeated my order back to me. I ordered the medium 12" pizza. From reading the reviews on Yelp, I knew that I could order 1/2&1/2 since everything sounded so good. I ordered 1/2 Crazy Train (Pepperoni, hot Italian sausage, peppered bacon, caramelized onions, garlic, oregano, and hot cherry peppers) and 1/2 Founders Pie (Sweet Italian sausage, pepperoni, tomato sauce, mozzarella, and ricotta cheese). The 12" pizza was cut into 6 slices. The middle of the crust was a little soggy and could have been baked another minute or two. The bones were soft and chewy and I even ate the bones. The Crazy Train only had a few small pieces of hot cherry peppers but lots of caramelized onions. The Founders Pie was my favorite. The toppings were not brought out far enough to the edge, especially the ricotta (see posted photo). The ricotta was soft and creamy like whipped butter. Yum! The value of this little pizza for $18.49 loses one star. The gal charged me the price of the more expensive pizza rather than splitting the difference of the 2 different pizzas. I would be back for their lunch specials where the small 9" pizzas ($9.99-$11.99) are $2 off. The only problem would be choosing one flavor.

The worst service ever! Or lack of in our case. We walked in and the hostess looked at us and said, um 2? Maybe how about a greeting and welcome to your establishment. So she asked us for booth or table. We said booth. Then she had a freak out moment rubbing her eyes and pulling down on her cheeks because we wanted a booth and she couldn't find one. We sat down and 13 minutes later my husband got up and ask the same hostess for a manager. Who was eating her lunch or dinner at the front hostess desk with her fingers in her mouth. Completely unprofessional and unsanitary. How about using the break room for your lunch. So finally a manager came to talk to us, apologized & was going to get us a server. We said no thank you. We wanted her to know our bad experience and we were going somewhere else to eat dinner for my birthday. She offered a gift card and we declined because we will not be back. What a shame.

Wowza, Wowza, Wowza. If I could adequately relay how good this place with that statement I would stop right here. I want to shout from the rooftops about this place. Although I'm afraid if too many people find out about it there won't be any seats for me - which would make me a very sad panda. This is right next to Red Robin and is in the same building that Boston Pizza used to be. This is a considerable step up from Bostons or perhaps any other pizza place in Denver. Let me start with the decor. As you walk up to the front entrance you get a taste of what is to come - Classic Rock is piped in and follows your ears inside. Stepping inside is like a timewarp and BAM! you are backstage at a rock concert. Then the smell of the wood fired oven hits you. The only thing that might make this the perfect concert experience if someone was smoking a joint right outside the bathroom. But I digress...... The cover to the menu is the coolest cover I have ever seen (see posted picture). The menu is also huge. It took us 10 minutes to read through everything. Most items are named after a song or the likes and be able to take it all in you have to read. My first, first world problem was that there were too many choices that sounded out of this world delicious. We finally narrowed it down to 4, which was a task in itself. When the waitress returns to the table she explains that we can do half pizzas. So my problem is solved. We opted for the following (in order of preference): Crazy Train: Pepperoni, hot Italian Sausage, peppered bacon, caramelized onions, garlic, oregano and hot cherry peppers. Meaty, Beaty, Big & Bouncy: Tomato sauce pizza, pepperoni, sweet sausage, peppered bacon, meatballs, ham and extra mozzarella. Yellow Brick Road: Sliced ham, pepperoni, mozzarella. The Founders Pie: Sweet Italian sausage, pepperoni, tomato sauce, mozzarella, and ricotta cheese. Lots of the others sounded so good. And this would lead to my Second first world problem - how soon can I go back without looking like a pizza junky or I won't be able to fit into the new pants I just bought. The service is fantabulous - From when you are greeted at the door to the time you leave. Everyone seemed to love being there and being at work. They make this dining experience about you want to make sure that you are happy and liked their pizza. I think if you took a chance and ordered a pizza and it wasn't exactly what you wanted that they would bring you a new different pizza - now I don't know this for a fact but I'm just guessing.

Had been here before last year and it was great. Something's changed. Pizza crust undercooked and no flavor. Steak sandwich ordered medium rare, but was really rare. The au jus that came with it was actually gravy that was also horrible. Rib appetizer really salty. Now we know why there wasn't a wait on a Friday night.

I am a regular each Friday and Kasha in the bar is outstanding. She remembers out crazy order and pays attention to get the refills before we run out. Great atmosphere. Good music, and great food!

Came to The Rock for a late night dinner and I was starving! The interior is super creative! Rock themed, plenty of seating, spacious, and nice lighting. I'm assuming there is a nice view of the mountains during the day, but couldn't tell because I was there in the evening! The Rock sells its "own" brewed beers (they come from Washington State, where the restaurant originated), and the beer I tried was really delicious, not to mention well priced due to it being late night happy hour. Unfortunately, the food was not great. Both burger and fries came out barely warm, too much sauce on the burger, bacon was soggy, and patty was overcooked. If I come back, I will be trying the pizza and hopefully will have a more delicious experience.

I love, love, love the pizza here. I always order the White Christmas and add hot sausage. Code name for this pizza is "Garlic breath of death" but it's amazing! I've tried the hot wings - their just ok. Caeser salad is fabulous. They have just expanded their menu but I can't imagine ordering anything other than pizza. They offer personal size pizzas all the way up to full size family ones. And they've actually figured out how to serve a giant pizza without losing all your table space - table side pizza anyone? The service has always been great and wait times are rare. I have to knock off one star because of the atmosphere. It's loud here, no really LOUD. it isn't because of the music, it's the acoustics. Get a full restaurant and you can't hear a thing. Going for lunch or an early dinner is your best bet.

Poor service, mediocre food and too loud. Caesar salad was very good.

  • David W.

This place rocks, no pun intended. The decor is pretty cool and the music is way better than the rap and techno crud they play at other bars around town. You have to try the chicken quesadilla with jalapeños and guac, it's delicious! They do have a number of microbrews that they make in Washington, my favorite is sledgehammer IPA. If you have time to sit in the bar ask for Kasia. She's the type that makes people a regular. When you walk in she knows your name and knows what you want to drink already. I've been to a lot of pizza places around this side of town and this is by far my favorite. Happy customer.

Well. Ordered a pizza with steak. Came out, No steak . Sent back and they literally threw the steak on. looked terrible! no comp. just told us they'd cook us something different. I really like it there so we'll keep trying! :)

This will be a double review. First 3 stars for the lunch menu...okay, but nothing out of the ordinary. But... 5 stars for Happy Hour...we had a such a great time with specials and the food and the drink and the...Yikes! I guess my friend can't drive home now. A super fun place that Parker so needs.

Always good pizzzzzza...typically not a crust guy but their crust is really good. Crazy train is good. Jake, our waiter, was real good and friendly.

Worst experience at a restaurant in a while. Went with my husband and kids. Server was nice, attentive and accommodating to our son's gluten free needs. Not sure who made the decision to bring my husband's meal before the rest of ours but it was a bad one because his food was cold 20 minutes later when the rest of us got ours. He then discovered that the Spicy wings which he requested be extra crispy, weren't... My pizza was half burnt on the bottom and the part that wasn't burnt tasted exactly like the frozen Tombstone pizza we got at at king soopers for 5 bucks. No joke. We will never go back. Serious kitchen issues. And although our whole meal was comped, which we didn't ask for, the manager couldn't be bothered to come out and talk with us. Now that's a company who really doesn't care whether or not a customer comes back or not.

Sloppy looking wood fired pizzas with some draft beers. There's just too many pizza places for me to be a fan for all of them. The decor is cool but I came here to eat not hangout, sorry rock wood.

Decent place for Sunday Funday Football. Watched the Bronco game and enjoyed some pizza in an environment that wasn't overly crowded or loud. The staff is friendly, bartender Mike can totally rock the shots and our glasses were never empty. I have no complaints!

  • Alex K.

Pizza was delicious! The brick oven really makes a difference. It's a roasted bread that's incredible. The sweet chili wings are the BEST in Parker. Make sure not to get the tenders - it's more sauce than chicken. The wings though are awesome. We like to get the Mozz bread as well.

I've been to the Rock twice now for lunch and the first time it was probably a 3 star and today's was a 2 star. So the 2 star wins out. They're trying really hard to be a ripoff of the Hard Rock with their decor. It looks nice inside and there's a cool motorcycle hanging from the ceiling. Lots of faux, crumbly bricks everywhere. And we were sitting in what I could only call the pirate section this time. Both times I've been I've gotten a coke. They make their own beer so I want to try it, just not for lunch. The coke is $2.49 and both times the syrup/water ratio is horribly off. It tastes more like water than anything else. Once is a mistake, twice is they're trying to skimp and save money. The first time I had the 9" personal pizza the "Classic Rock" which according to their menu is "Generous portions of pepperoni" and it had one big slice of pepperoni on each slice. The flavor of the pizza was really good, tho, and I'll probably come back just to try it again. The second time I came I had the "Rock Burger". I ordered it well done with bacon and it was just plain awful. It was very greasy. Like so greasy the bun was falling apart. My wife got a burger too and we both noticed that the meat had a very weird flavor. It honestly tasted like freezer burn to me. Neither one of us could finish our burgers. Not that the waitress asked us at all. Speaking of, absolutely slow, horrible service. She even messed up the bill and tried to charge us $2.49 for my wife's water. We'll probably come back again and try the pizza and beer some time, but I'll never try the burger again.

If you don't like the food here, I would be surprised. If you don't like the decor, you obviously walked in wearing blinders. The theme here is "rock and roll" and it is definitely over the top. I personally thought it was an amazing sensory overload. The furnishings, the music, the experience . . . very rocking. The signature pizzas on the menu are mostly named after famous rock and roll songs. Such as, "Bad to the Bone, Bang A Gong, Bat Outta Hell, California Dreamin, Can't Stop Rockin'". If you order a medium or large, you can go 1/2 & 1/2 on your selection. On my visit, I went 1/2" Crazy Train", (Pepperoni, hot Italian sausage, peppered bacon, caramelized onions, garlic, oregano and hot cherry peppers) and 1/2 "Stairway To Heaven" (garlic butter brushed dough, topped with fresh mozzarella, fresh baby arugula, diced tomatoes, prosciutto, parmesan cheese , a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.) I really enjoyed the Crazy Train. The meat was of good quality and the veggies brought solid flavor and a little heat. The Stairway was, in my opinion, good, but not great. I would put it on a par with Marco's Coal Fired, but below Via Baci or Osteria Marco's version of this pie. One small complaint. My pizza seemed just a tad under-cooked when it first arrived. They did, however, cheerfully pop it back in the oven for me. The crust here is very chewy, which I enjoyed. I had a beer with my pizza. It was not happy hour, so it cost just under $5. It was a good quality brew, but could have been a little colder. A frosty glass would have also been appreciated. Service here is friendly and excellent. The menu has salads, burgers, apps, wings etc., but, seriously. Why come here if not for the pizza? The prices seemed a little higher than I might have expected, but the quality of ingredients was very good. Parker is lucky to have this new pizza place, and I will definitely be back. 12/7/12 Addendum Part 1: I went back for lunch (new specials) and tried the all you can eat soup and salad. The tomato bisque was mighty fine, with solid flavor. The clam chowder was a considerably thicker and a tad fishier than I prefer. The Caesar salad was outstanding. It was a generous serving, with tons of flavor. It had lots of cheese and croutons. It was slightly overdressed, but the dressing was pungent and delicious. This salad was served with a very chewy roll (made from pizza dough, I presume) that I thought was enjoyable. Part 2: And we came back for happy hour on the same day . . . Beers were $3 for microbrews (tasty, but they REALLY need to figure out a way to chill the glasses or turn the thermostat down on the beer cooler . . . I need my beer very cold) I have to give our waitress credit, she did try to make it colder for me. Our waitress, Missy, was awesome. This was the same helpful, attractive, young lady who popped my pizza back in the oven for me on a previous visit. Along with the beers, I had a Lime-Light (Rush themed dontchaknow). It was a tasty lime margarita served in a child's sand pail (complete with shovel). It would have knocked me on my @$$, had I not already been sitting on it. It was very potent, and a lot of booze for around $8. We sampled the chipotle dry rubbed wings (a bit flabby and bland for my taste, but others seemed to like them), the rock chips (a nice spicy house made chip with ranch and honey mustard), and some mozzarella bread (kind of basic). For dessert, we had the warm chocolate chip cookie (dough) in a skillet with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce. It may have been the beer and tequila talking, but this was nummers to the nth degree. We got here at 4pm, and the bar was packed by 5:30 pm. The restaurant was packed as well by 6pm on a Friday.

Went to dinner here with the family on a Friday night. It is so loud, I couldn't even hear our children sitting next to us. Clearly the waitress couldn't hear either because two of our dinners were not correct. The food was mediocre. Maybe we made a mistake not ordering the pizza. We won't be back.

The server was very friendly but very slow at refills which was a shame because the restaurant was virtually empty. We came here because my wife had the pizza at a work event and loved it but when we came we didn't have the same experience. The pizza barely had any cheese on it and the sauce just tasted terrible. We were hoping this could be a new pizza place for us because it is a really neat looking restaurant, but the pizza fell short.

Just okay food. The atmosphere was really yuck. Super dark, and not in a good way, the booth they sat us in literally had parts falling off, and the music from the bar was so loud and in complete conflict with the music playing in the restaurant. I asked two different people if they could turn down the music in the dining area, since the bar was so loud, and they told me they would/did but it was not resolved. Listening to Journey and some country tunes on '11' simultaneously is VERY UNPLEASANT. Never planning on going back to this place. The food was just not worth the crappy atmosphere.

Went there for the first time last night with my family. The place was not busy but the service was VERY slow. We ordered the mozzarella bread, which was great, as an appetizer. When it finally did show up, took forever, it was five minutes later that the waitress brought our dinners. Seeing as we had fish and chips, we had to set the appetizer aside and had our dinner. The fish and chips were OK, nothing special about it that would make me want to give it another try. The waitress only came by once to refill our drinks, took forever to get the bill, and when she returned with the bill for me to sign she dropped it in front of my 12 year old and left. Overall it was not a good experience and there are better, more attentive, restaurants in Parker. I doubt we will be going back

wow this place was dead for being dinner time. I think Brick House Tavern and Salt Grass (Ewww on salt grass) were the big hits on this restaurant strip. I went in one evening only after not being able to get into Brick-house...i was glad to come into The Rock. The service was quick and very friendly and the pizza was fantastic. The beer was cold and lots to choose from! Will definitely go back and would recommend this place to anyone! The only reason they didn't get five stars is because the side salad was a little to...well...normal.

Okay, but not worth the price. Sharp dressed man, @ $15 , should have been a wow. Calamari wasn't great either , cherry peppers were tastier. Staff is friendly , which is why I'm giving 3 stars. Just not worth the price all in all.

Thought we'd try somewhere new & we were not disappointed.. The decor was out of this world & the Classic Rock music bought back lot's of memories & kept us there. Started with the 8 mini-beer sampler & wings (1/2 Sweet red chili &1/2 Sweet but Spicy) both were tasty. Then split the Spinach Salad - I highly recommend the Tomato Bacon Dressing. Lastly, Jody our (Bartender) who was "AWESOME" recommended the "BAD TO THE BONE PIZZA". It was hand tossed, not over-cooked, White sauce w/ mozzarella and romano cheeses, pepperoni, peppered bacon, ham and red onions topped with a peppercorn ranch dressing. Next time we will try the Happy Hour: Mon - Fri 3-6PM and 9PM-Close ... Too cold for the patio, but they have heaters, music & t.v.'s.. For a summer day...

Hey! Wanna pay double price for a crappy pizza? THEN COME ON IN!!! What does Chuck E Cheese and the Rock have in common? Their hopes that their tacky atmosphere will obscure their crappy pizza. This formula is flawed. No one goes to Chuck E Cheese for the pizza. You just tolerate it for your kids. But adults actually look for quality in a pizza joint aimed at adults. The gimmick here is so tacky...it's just rock'n'roll stereotyped: Skulls, motorcycles, crappy lighting. Who pays for the theme crap overload? You Do! By paying $20+ for a lousy pizza. If your entire schtick is PIZZA, shouldn't it be great pizza? It's like chuck e cheese. Lame crust, no herbs, flavorless. The only thing creative is the names of the pizzas. AVOID!

This is my first bad review... I am a very patient person, and understand that things happen during a rush at a restaurant. However, our evening started with the hostess not writing our name down on the waiting list. My family and I sat there waiting for a table, while they we're seating families just walking in... This upset me because, she kept looking at us and never asked if we had our name on the list. After I inquired how much longer she thought it would be, is when she realized that she never took our name down (45 mins later) They forgot our drinks, and ran out of garnish for my bloody mary. My son's burger "was stolen". The food was delicious. The manager took off two of the burgers, but never came to the table to apologize for anything. I worked in a restaurant for many years, and completely understand that things happen. Other than our wonderful waitress, this was the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. The whole place just seemed to be poorly managed.

What a great remodel! This is where the old Bostons was and the remodel is great. They have taken the patio area and given it even more shelter and an very cool huge fireplace and heaters so the area can be used year-round to enjoy the views of the rockies. The food is awesome! I attended a grand opening and got to sample the pizza, nachos, potato skins and wings. All great, and they have great fun drinks served in Buckets.. perfect for a TGIF night or ladies night out.

A good lunch menu! Have been a couple times for lunch and it's never too busy, so service is quick and food comes out in a very timely manner. I'll update this when I've had the pizza and can comment on a little more. So far, so good!

We were really impressed! The service and food were great...ordered the Hurts So Good burger and the Bang a Gong pizza....very fresh and flavorful. The menu had lots of option, not just pizza. The bar area had live music which was good but a little loud. The dining room had TVs throughout And the restaurant must have a great ventilation system because it didnt smell like grill smoke or wood fired at all. Will go back for sure

My wife and I thought we would try something new. The place is nice and played great music. The beer selection is good and the happy hour prices are very reasonable. However, we had dinner and the food was just o.k. The chicken I had was swimming in juice/gravy with a small scoop of mashed potatoes buried underneath. My wife's salad was just o.k - nothing special. Good place for a drink but go elsewhere for the food.

An out-of-town friend was visiting and requested something local, so we decided to try The Rock. I'll keep it simple: Pros: - Skillet shrooms are tasty - pizza dough Cons: - service: we were seated and waited 15 minutes until a waitress holding dirty plates asked us if we had ordered. After we said no, she handed off the plates to another waitress and said, "I will be your server." WTF?! We waited quite some time for our food despite our server's claims that it would be ready any minute Overall the food is decent, albeit pricey. The unacceptable service ensures I won't be back any time soon.

I stumbled upon The Rock while staying in Parker. It reminded me of a CPK with it's wide variety of options. I was quite pleased with my Cesar salad, it was very fresh and had a good portion of dressing, (not skimpy and not drowned). I also got the California Dreamin' pizza sans chicken. It was good, not fantastic but better then cheap take-out. The service left a little to be desired but that said no one was rude by any means; just not the warm customer service vibe I prefer. All in all I was quite pleased and would definitely return.

Ever since they build the Rock in Parker I have been a happy camper. This place has some good pizza and red chili sauce is delicious on their chicken strips and Pizza. My only complaint is that for some reason the wheat beer recipe tastes different than it did the first time I was there. Outside of that, I love this place and come here about once a month.

Nice attempt - epic failure. It's a shame - I wanted to like this place. Hubby and I first went to the Highlands Ranch location, and after grave disappointment with lackluster food and some of the worst service ever, we decided to give this newly opened location a shot - hoping for a better experience. Fail. The decor is impressive, if not just a little too wannabe Hard Rock Cafe. I can appreciate the money and effort that went into making it really visually appealing and well thought out. Sadly, the praise stops there. Even though the restaurant was only about 1/3 to maybe 1/2 full and bubbling over with waitstaff, we once again experienced terrible, slow service. If I could look beyond the slow service, however, I couldn't look beyond the mediocre (at best) food. I had the personal size pizza with ricotta, carmelized onions and mushrooms. I ordered marinated mushrooms, but instead received paper thin, burned beyond recognition regular "mushrooms" (though I still think they were actually cardboard), onions that were so overly sweet they tasted like they were dipped in corn syrup, and enough oddly sweet ricotta to make a full pan of lasagna. The crust was burned and the pizza was just... unappetizing. Hubby had the "Shrimp Scampi" - this item gets quotation marks because The Rock has a warped view of what shrimp scampi is. Instead of a flavorful scampi garlic butter sauce, it was a concrete heavy cream sauce that he said tasted like a poorly executed alfredo, topped with a few tiny, clearly frozen, shrimp. He ate about half of it before throwing in the towel. The concept of this restaurant has potential.... albeit a little over-pretentious (and hey, if you're going to have rock album covers from legends on the walls, maybe play some of their music that's actually good, instead of bands like Rush, and the oddly out of place Train that was playing). Hubby and I love the details of the architecture, the graphics and designs, but get a clue when it comes to food. Overall - I wouldn't go back to this place. Save yourself the disappointment and go to Lil Ricci's, Parry's Pizza, or get the awesome pizza from Whole Foods in Highlands Ranch.

I like the rock but this location was the worst it took 2 hours and we sat ourselves down. Finally after seated the table was still dirty and the staff was unorganized took another hour to get our drinks. And after another 30 minutes we decided to leave because no food came to our table we will never come to this location again.

Went out with a buddy last night to try this place for the first time. Micros were good. We ordered an Evil Ways and Stairway to Heaven. First was much less than expected; latter much more than expected.

Awesome calzone and the micro-brews are great. Atmosphere is pretty cool. You must try the Mozz Bread Appetizer.

Great Food and Service! Was in over the weekend and sat in the bar. Love having a server that knows when you need a refill or a new drink. So many places lack in good service these days but not here!

Best wings in Colorado! What makes the wings so good? They're a good size wing and what's unique is that they're cooked in a cast iron skillet... And the wings come out sizzling hot on to the table. The pizza is also good.

Service was just ok.I got the Low Rider personal pizza for lunch which was good except the very end of the crust was so hard I almost broke my tooth trying to eat it. They jack up their prices in order to pay for the fancy brick decor. Over-rated...I recommend just going for happy hour if you're single.

  • Tammy B.

I am a regular each Friday and Kasha in the bar is outstanding. She remembers out crazy order and pays attention to get the refills before we run out. Great atmosphere. Good music, and great food!
