I had to write an update to this review as I have now been back twice since my original review. They are definitely starting to get word of mouth traffic as they are busier each time. I heard a few patrons mention this was their second or third time visiting, so its not just me giving it praises. since my last review, The wife ordered the Gyro plate (amazing, she said)...be careful the taziki has loads of garlic. I had the chicken fried steak which was really good. This afternoon, we went in for lunch and had a couple of burgers. The ranch dressing (homemade) is great on anything including fries.

Have been here for breakfast and dinner and both meals were excellent! Large portion sizes make a doggy bag a must. We are telling all our friends to come and try them because Parker really does need a good all-round restaurant and this certainly is one of the best.

This is a decent place to eat. We've only been here for breakfast. The French Toast is good. The Denver omelet is ok but I wasn't terribly impressed with the cheese triangles melted on top. As other reviewers mentioned, it's a busy place so expect a wait. Some servers are great and others a little on the slow side. The owners (I presume) stand by the register quite stone faced (no pun intended). They look almost uncomfortable to be there and I've yet to see them crack a smile in the 4 times we've been here. All in all, not a bad place if you've got a little more time to spend.

We have been eating at StoneGate cafe for years. We actually were going once a week but it has slowly been declining. After todays visit, I will never go back. It was a Thursday AM so not super crowded. The normal good waitresses were not there and the replacements were horrible. Our waitress walked past us at least 4 times before I finally asked the other waitress if I could get a cup of coffee. I ordered my usual, the "mass confusion". Hash-browns, 1 biscuits with gravy covered with scrambled eggs, cheese and crumbled bacon. Usually the biscuit is fluffy and fresh, the gravy is smooth and perfect, the eggs are moist and you top that with cheese & bacon, HEAVEN IN YOUR MOUTH!!! Today was the worst food I have ever had. The biscuit was hard as rock and crumbled when I cut it, the gravy was thick and clumpy, the eggs were dry and tasteless. Even covering that in cheese and bacon couldn't mask the poorly cooked food. The hash-browns were freezer brunt tasting and the whole plate of food was barley warm to the touch, making it uneatable. I also get a side of their yummy crunchy french toast. Fingers crossed that maybe the french toast would save the day but, the french toast had no flavor, tasted pre-cooked and was just as unpleasant as the coffee and the service. Very sad our favorite place in Parker is no longer. :-(

My wife and I tried the StoneGate Café for breakfast on a late Friday morning. The great reviews of the cinnamon roll I had read online brought us in for a try. Yelp's description of their 2 star, "Meh. I've experienced better" perfectly describes my meal. My wife had a regular eggs benedict, and I had a Denver Omelet. You can tell a lot about a chef by how he/she makes an omelet... I was very disappointed. It was a flat omelet, with two slabs of what looked like Velveeta cheese slices melted on top, it looked like they were trying to cover up their lack of omelet making skills... with nasty cheese. My wife's ham on her eggs benedict was thick and tough. Enough said on that front... The "Monster" Cinnamon Roll was okay, but very similar to a Cinnabon, but smaller. Not a cinnamon roll to draw me back, and honestly, a little too pricey for what it was. Honestly, I was saddened with our visit. I'm all for the mom and pop shops that are unique to the local towns. God knows we need more of them to fight off the franchises. Both my wife and I just weren't impressed... Meh. I can say it looked like they did have a full and busy place! Most of the tables were filled with people, and it seemed business was good. I wish the best of luck to StoneGate, but I won't be returning.

We have been up for the pain reward balance here because the food is so good. But after the last two times I'm done. We waited and it was a challenge to Get on the List without Buddy Lee here today. We were seated outside and waited ten minutes to get our order in after asking two servers to help. It costs too much to eat out these days to have crap service.

We've been coming to The stonegate cafe for a long time. While you always need to wait for a table, it is usually worth the wait. However, after my experience this morning, I will not be coming back, ever. I have been in the restaurant industry for over 7 years, so always tend to be very patient and sympathetic to all waitstaff, as I know how hard it is. However, I would NEVER treat any paying customer with disrespect like stonegate cafe staff did this morning. My mother an I attempted to get "on the list" upon arrival- but the woman taking names ignored us entirely until finally after 10 minutes of her walking passed us, we politely asked to be put on the list. She said she already put us on the list. Umm, no, you haven't.. Typically Buddy Lee is the one taking names, and very attentive to new walk-ins, but he wasn't there this morning and this lady had no idea what she was doing, and clearly overwhelmed. As a result, people were added to the wait list before us, who had arrived after us, because she assumed we were with a different party. We waited for a table for 25 minutes. Again, that's typical, and we are prepared to wait that long when we go there on the weekend. However it was frustrating we waited longer than we should have due to the wait list debacle. After we were seated at a table outside, the hostess brought us waters and menus, although we already knew what we wanted. 15 minutes had passed, and nobody came to greet us to take our order. We politely asked another server if we could put in our order with her. She abruptly replied, "I'm not your server!"... We were shocked she had that tone with a customer. Since she did nothing to help us, I got up from our table, and proceeded inside in hopes someone would be willing to help us, unlike the VERY rude server (who we later discovered is named Ashley). I had the same experience as when we first arrived. Servers passing by, pretending not to take notice I was standing there trying to make eye contact with someone. Another 5 minutes passed, before I stopped a server who was going outside to the patio, stepping AROUND me to get passed me. Hello!? Am I invisible? I politely asked her if she was serving outside. While I thought the rudeness would stop at Ashley, it continued with her. She said "were all outside." And proceeded to exit the restaurant so I had to follow her out to ask her if she would take our order. She proceeded to tell me that she's very busy and that she's getting to us.. So this is now person #3 who has written us off. We wished we had left after that exchange, but she finally came over to take our order. Which, took 45 minutes to arrive. All the while, the other rude server, Ashley, is going around the tables and petting all the dogs on the patio (before handling food...). She has time to give attention to the dogs, but brushed off paying customers? When I am waitressing, and another table asks for assistance, I would never just say, "not my problem" .. And "I'm not your server" .. I would MAKE SURE they were taken care of and definitely wouldn't let them get up from their table to try to find their server... Hands down, the worst service I have ever received. Blows my mind how rude these ladies were to my mother and I. The whole experience took 2 hours, and was a complete waste of time and money. Never again.

The food was pretty horrendous. The potatoes tasted like they were frozen and then cooked. There was freezer burn everywhere. None of the dishes that we had were noteworthy. If you want great breakfast, I'd recommend Doug's or Three Little Griddles. I'm not sure why people would rate this place so highly.

Delicious food! Exceptional service! Ashly was attentive, friendly & so welcoming! I wish I'd taken a picture of our meals. Our new favorite place to eat!!

Not sure how this gets so many great reviews. Went on a Saturday mid morning. Waited about 25 minutes to sit. Then we waited nearly a half hour for our food after ordering. 30 min for basic French toast, instant hash browns and scrambled eggs. Bless her heart our server came by 4 times to tell us it was coming soon. The poor woman will be headed to confession tomorrow for sure. We Looked around and it seemed to be more than 20 min from order to service for everyone. The hostess was either overwhelmed or generally incompetent. Here's a tip: you can text that someone's table is ready so you don't have to keep calling names over our heads. At one point, a guy complained that he should have been called before someone else but instead of apologizing she tried to say she already called him but he didn't answer. I can't say if she did or didn't call his name for sure, but what does it matter? Why not just apologize? I'm pretty sure he knows his own name. I can take bad service and a wait if the food is worth it but my review boils down to the fact that it's diner food at brunch prices.

A great alternative to the obvious other breakfast restaurants in Parker. Menu prices were reasonable, the food was good and arrived to the table quickly. The only thing missing are brunch cocktails - mimosas, bloody Mary's, etc...

Great place for breakfast on a Sunday. My wife and I are regulars. I will admit that sometimes the food is lacking, such as the cream of mushroom soup on my chicken fried steak, but it was still good.

Amazing breakfast with my family! I had the corn beef hash that was so so good! The home fries are ridiculously good! We will definitely be back as this is the best breakfast in Parker

Just moved to the Parker, from Arizona, and I needed a breakfast joint to make me feel less homesick. Boyfriend and I always had Sunday morning breakfast at our favorite little diner in Arizona, and I worried we wouldn't find somewhere as good to replace it with the same consistent service and great food and prices...boy was I wrong! Stonegate cafe was an instant hit with me. We arrived on a random morning, later around 11 am. The place was packed! 2 servers for 15 tables, we grabbed the very last table. Guests kept coming through the door, patiently waiting for a seat to open. Those servers were amazing. Lightning fast, super friendly and knowledgable. French toast-fantastic. Veggie omelette-loaded and flavorful. Coffee and waters were refilled without having to ask. All the food was piping hot. We cleaned our plates. We over tipped those hard working waitresses. We are now regulars!!!!

Usually a great place for breakfast and the wait is not too long. This morning I had the french toast special and had my eggs scrambled. I was definitely disappointed in the scrambled eggs as they were not light and fluffy. they were flat and pretty tasteless. My son had one of the skillets and the cheese on it was simply two square pieces of american cheese thrown on top and melted. However the bacon and homefries were excellent as usual. The service was fast and friendly.

Mediocre food, terrible service. My food order was messed up in the kitchen, so they had to remake it, which was fine. I've worked in restaurants and understand these things happen. When my breakfast skillet came out "fixed", the vegetables were raw - and I mean RAW. Uncooked mushrooms, white onions that were still white. I was planning on politely sending it back and ordering something else, and had it at the end of the table, but our server didn't check in after delivering the food. I've been a server, and that's Server 101 stuff. After about 10 min, she dropped off the check and didn't even stop to ask us if we needed anything else. While I have an uneaten skillet sitting at the end of the table. She proceeded to avoid eye contact as we sat there trying to get her attention. Finally, she was at the register so we went up there to pay and ask for the skillet to be removed. I said in a nice tone, just to give some feedback, "it would have been nice if you stopped by after dropping off the food" and I expected her to apologize and explain that she was slammed, but instead she got nasty with me. Like, REEEAAALLLLL nasty. She said "ummm ok" in a nasty tone, and when we tipped her in spite of everything (I'm assuming my boyfriend took pity that she was so painfully horrible at life), she said, as sarcastically as possible, "really? Are you sure? Are you SURE??" She could have just apologized and owned up to poor service and completely avoided this review. Seriously, do not go here. Spend your money somewhere they care about their customers and food quality.

The only place I can find breakfast skillets that combines chorizo, green chilli, potatoes, and eggs any where around Parker. The wait staff knows what I want for breakfast each time I go there. All they need to do whenever I show up is to verify in case I want something different.

VERY good food! Small local joint that has good food. The service was good & the waitresses were attentive. They use farm fresh eggs & are very willing to customize your order. I had the French toast & it was very yummy! My husband had a breakfast burrito & it comes with some GREAT green chili! Would highly recommend it if your wanting a great breakfast spot!

It was pretty good last year, but in 2014 things have changed, for the worse. The portions are small, the crispy potatoes are mush, and the 4-egg omelet is 2 eggs and wafer-thin. They think people can't tell 4 eggs from 2? They are being dishonest. Further, they didn't drain the vegetables first so it was a soggy mess. We won't be back. It was disappointing.

There were no hostess when we arrived on a weekday morning so it was seat yourself. It was busy so we waited standing for about 5 minutes. The whole time all three servers made eye contact with us but did not greet or acknowledge us. When one of the booth opened up, our party of 5 tried to sit down and one of the servers said you can't sit there rudely. I'm guessing the 5th person would need an extra chair or possibly block the path but the server did not offer an alternative to the problem. We sat at the booth for another 5 minutes with no acknowledgment from anyone so we got up and left. I had good food before at this cafe, but after this bitter experience I would not recommend their service. A simple 'hello' or 'good morning' would of been OK and I wouldn't mind the wait.

My new favorite place for brunch. This morning I had the Salmon Benedict and was wowed. Service was over the top cheerful and accommodating. Prices reasonable. And excellent coffee! Why go to a chain restaurant when there is a much better option available?

  • Howard H.

I can only assume that the poor ratings are due to something other than breakfast. I have only been to breakfast. The winner is the French toast special. They have the best French toast I have ever eaten. It is a constant place of joy for the family. Service is generally great. Very nice people all in all.

I have been coming here for a couple years, but only for breakfast. Decided to meet a friend for lunch and tried the Rueben. It was so delicious. Also the fries are awesome. They use a zesty seasoned fries. This is a true diner style. Not rushed and not slow at all.

  • Joanie V.

The staff here is very kind and friendly. This place is very small and they cannot accommodate large parties well, seems like food doesn't come out at the same time from the kitchen and some people get cold food. The wait on the weekends is ridiculous and there's really no way for them to accommodate the number of people that are actually waiting so A lot of people end up standing outside. There appears to be outside seating, but I never saw it utilized. They were very good about refilling waters and coffee. The decor leaves much to be desired, this is an extremely casual place. It does have its regulars and the elderly crowd love it. The food is okay but greasy and not always consistent. I agree that the French toast is kind of delicious and their bacon and sausage are wonderful quality. I have also had the green chili, Cinnamon roll, and I have tried the corned beef hash. I don't like green bell pepper in my corned beef hash. No matter what my family of five has here, we always leave with indigestion, so after about five visits we've called it quits.

I generally only go for breakfast, and I am very much a creature of habit. That said, their smothered breakfast burrito, especially the Matzatlan (which has avocado) is delicious! The coffee is good for a non-coffee-shop-coffee. The servers edge on overly attentive (I sometimes do like the feeling of accomplishment when my coffee cup is under a half a cup) but that is a pretty good problem to have. Coffee drinkers who put anything in their coffee may be challenged to keep the mix just right as they are always tipping you off. Will keep eating there, at least for breakfast.

Ate here before and left positive review but yesterday was the the last time, I will not eat at a place that is rude. So waitress walks over for no reason the waitress was very rude I asked a question she answered they walked back by counter where we could see her and hear her and was like that's it I'm done? Because I asked if I could get that without fries are you kidding?? Then the three ladies working grouped up and then talked about us. HELLO WE CAN HEAR &SEE YOU! Not only that but I was afraid to look up cause the waitress was giving us a go to hell look the whole time we where there, another women came and took our order, we were even afraid to leave. It was lunch and only 5 tables were full, the vibe was completely odd and even scary. This lady was having a bad day I guess and took it out on us . Really I am at a lost of words. ? Staff seemed to be ok with her behavior and that is not acceptable! Any business that talks about customers a few feet away from them and treats them like dirt and a business that is accepting of this behavior, is no place we will be going back too. I have also recommended this place before well I will NOT be doing that anymore. No excuses for her attitude and rudeness...complete madness! :(

I recently had a negative experience here that was not handled appropriately at all by one of the owners Abraham. However, speaking to a different owner of Stonegate Cafe, Ari, i was very pleased. She displayed a much different attitude than the first owner. Ari was pleasant and very eager to fix the situation! The only reason im not giving 5 stars is because of Abraham. However, take him out of the picture and i would definitely give 5 stars! The food is excellent, definitely a favorite of ours here in Parker. Whenever we have family visit from out of town we always bring them here! As long as you don't run into Abraham, you'll love this place!

I only wish I could give it zero stars. After waiting 30 minutes for our table; We then waited an additional hour to get our food. I wish I could give you a review on the food as well however we ended up paying our "tab" for our drinks and left because the service took so long. When the manager came out he was extremely rude and inconsiderate. My wife and I just moved to Parker and will never come here again.

Be prepared for a wait. Its a small place and its always busy. For a reason. Good food thats has a readable price. They are always busy but the staff works well with the crowd. Dont like it - dont come here. Simple as that.

Great business! It's like an independent village in with better and more innovative food options. The Greek plate is my favorite. The staff is incredibly nice. Great place.

  • Nicole S.

This was one of the best breakfasts I had in a long time. I don't know why it took us so long to find this place. I had the French toast special. The French toast was the best I have ever had and the potatoes were great as well. My husband had the chicken souvlaki and really enjoyed that too. The service was also fantastic. Our server was very attentive and in a great mood. Prices were very reasonable for the portion sizes too. We'll definitely be coming back here.

Best friendly service and French Toast ever!!!! We love the early weekday specials... And the owner is as sweet as can be!

  • Eric J.

I'm not sure why there have been negative reviews here, the food and service have always been great. The food is always the best part, from the green chili to the french toast to the Greek choices. My girlfriend must eat gluten-free, and there are plenty of options. Definitely the best place for breakfast in Parker, and much better than Egg and I / Le Peep / Village Inn. Service is consistently good. The only thing is that it gets very busy on the weekends so you may have to wait a bit, and there's not much room for that. But it is worth the wait!

    (5)
  • Jeremy C.

During the two times I've been here previously, the food was okay. However, this morning, my girlfriend and I went here for a late Sunday breakfast, and we were greeted by the hipster host in an extremely condescending manner. It was so bad that the people waiting next to us had shocked looks on their faces. Additionally, we were told that the wait would be 20+ minutes, yet there were multiple open tables. Clearly the managment needs to improve their process and staff. It didn't really matter what the wait was. There was no way I was going to eat there this morning or in the future, until the attitude of their staff improves significantly.

Place is kindof small. We had a party of 6 on Sunday for lunch and needed to split up to two tables. I ordered the Ruben wasn't the best I've had. Wife has the mazelan skillet she seemed to like. Kindof thought maybe i should have tried something else. Service was pretty good.

This small brunch place in Parker is tucked away in the corner of the Stonegate strip mall and has a small town feel to it. The service was very friendly and quick, and the food was decent. I had a plain waffle and the cinnamon roll so I didn't get to try the omelettes or anything special so I'll have to come back for that. The great thing about this place is the outdoor patio area, which is just as big as the inside dining room. It's not the fanciest place or serving gourmet breakfasts, but it's a step up from the grease trap chain breakfast places so I say you should give it a try!

  • Devin Q.

Food was great, service was lacking. It just seemed to be very disorganized. We waited a few minutes to be greeted servers kept walking by, and then waited about ten minutes at the table to be spoken to by a server. I'm not sure I I like the pajamas as a uniform.

Really good, local breakfast/lunch cafe. We had a traditional breakfast that was delicious. Food came out quickly, staff was friendly and attentive (the place was busy) and the prices were very reasonable. We would definitely return.

I put this review on about 2 months ago, but it has been removed!! Funny!! After we had been seated for more than 30 minutes, and others were coming and going, our food finally came. We had to ask our waitress to remind her. Upon paying, I expressed my dissatisfaction with the slow service and was told it was due to "the poached eggs". This place is not that good to wait that long. This was the second and last time we will go there.

We ordered the Reuben and the taco plate. I can't even remember when I have had worst food. It was awful!! The sandwich had two tiny pieces of meat I couldn't even taste the meat there was so much sauerkraut. The tacos had no taste and were very mushy. The retried beans were poured out of a can. I really had a hard time even giving them one star. The food was awful. Please do not go it will be a waste of money.

This was probably the worst meal I've had in Parker. I had the huevos rancheros and it was absolutely awful. If I wanted pre-made packaged food, I could have went to a grocery store and bought it for cheaper. It's like they went into the Mexican food section of Walmart and said that looks good. They pretty much dumped the packaged Mexican rice, refried beans from a can, green chili from a jar on my plate, then threw some flour tortillas on the side. I don't know what that was but it's not huevos rancheros and it resembled a TV dinner. The taste was awful and the food made my wife and I sick. We made a bee line to Walgreens for tums. She had the salmon Benedict and she's pretty sure the sauce came from some plastic package. We won't be back and now the sight of this restaurant turns our stomach.

Oh man... I wasn't expecting much when I came here, but I was SO pleased with my breakfast. The waitress was really friendly and checked on us regularly (with coffee in tow), totally didn't judge me when I ordered breakfast AND a giant cinnamon roll... and then finished both... and while we're on the topic of cinnamon rolls, I still DREAM about that thing. God it's good. I want one of those as my final meal. I also find it nice when establishments bring me a little thing of milk (instead of the disgusting packaged creamer). I had to ask for it, but they were more than happy to bring it out for me. This is my new breakfast joint, for sure.

I've been going here for close to 3 years now and wrote my last post March 27, 2011. I felt the need to update it cause it just keeps amazing me. My father and I eat her at least once a week with my 19 month old daughter. The staff is so terrific and knows us by name and have our drinks on the table by the time we sit down. Every single item on the menu is terrific and the prices are wonderful. I recommend the early bird special M-F, the best part is that it lasts till 10am so it's not that early. Green chili is bomb, country gravy is amazing, the entire menu is terrific. Tell Dawn, Ari, and Kaitlin that Jeff, Matt and lil Molly sent ya and you won't be dissapointed. :) They have become family there!!!

I had such a good time eating here with my friends! Fantastic prices and a great breakfast...Ashly is a wonderful server who deserves ALL the tips! We chatted and had a genuine conversation. I never felt rushed once. The cafe has a vast selection of breakfast and lunch, so you're bound to find something you like on the menu.

Best breakfast in town! I love this place. I was taken here by a coworker once for lunch and was impressed with the excellent service, great prices and good food. I decided to go back for breakfast and have only gone there for breakfast ever since. The french toast is freakin' amazing. I dig me some french toast, and this is seriously the best I've ever had. Their cinnamon rolls - HOLY CRAP. So good. Service is always friendly and even if I decide to pig out and order 5 things, the food comes out fast and hot. Prices are great, which is good for me so I can leave a bigger tip to their very deserving staff.

Stonegate Cafe ranks right up there with Snooze for the best breakfast in South Denver / Douglas County. The best thing about this place is the menu. The "Big 4" breakfast favorites - waffles, pancakes, french toast, and biscuits and gravy, all come as a meal complete with eggs, a meat selection, and breakfast potatoes. And, each of the sides are all done well; the breakfast potatoes are a mix of flavor and crunch, the bacon crisp, ham is thick, and the eggs cooked perfectly. The pancakes were decent, but EVERYONE ON EARTH MUST TRY THE FRENCH TOAST. It has won me over as a patron for life. Friendly note, pass on the cinnamon roll. It poses as a 10 but tastes like a 2. Otherwise, Stonegate Cafe should be here to stay. And, judging by the crowd every time I have dined-in, it will be.

Headline: Quiet quality in a tucked away corner of Parker I have to admit - I've been avoiding this place. Part of that was I didn't realize that it had changed hands a couple of years ago. Part of it is because it's tucked away in the corner of a strip mall, so you don't see it from the road. The interior hasn't changed since it changed ownership. My wife and I turned up for a Sunday morning breakfast. It was busy, but there wasn't a wait. There was a wait by the time we left. There isn't any place to really wait without staring at the patrons already eating. I got the traditional Eggs Benedict, which came with home fries. The home fries were crispy, not greasy but lacking in salt. They were also just chopped up potatoes - don't expect onions or peppers or anything else that you see on a regular basis in these home fried. There is enough hollandaise sauce to sink the benedicts, which is a good thing because the sauce is really good - a strong flavor of lemon and that something extra that makes you wonder what the extra ingredient is. I do wish they had toasted the english muffin, but the eggs were well cooked and the canadian bacon was really tasty. My wife ordered a chicken, bacon and cheese sandwich with onion rings. The onion rings were battered and not greasy. They could also have done with some salt right out of the fryer. The chicken is well cooked and my wife commented on the tasty bacon. Portions are big here. They make their omelettes with four eggs, for example. A reasonable couple could easily split a plate and I saw a few that did. One warning I would have is that it is a small dining room. I wouldn't recommend coming with a big crowd. Overall, this is a vast improvement over the old place and makes it a go-to place for breakfast in Parker.

This is a great place with an interesting mix of foods. When I come in, I can never figure out whether I want to steer towards the Greek foods, the traditional American, or the Mexican. If I truly cannot decide, I default to anything with the crisp chile rellenos. The prices are right, the staff friendly, and if I could move it a few miles closer to my house, that would make it perfect.. Seriously, folks. Chile rellenos.

Very good food, good service, generous portions. Clean facility and friendly staff. Popular place and very busy on the weekends.

Zero stars. This place is horrible. I ordered fish and chips and it came out as fish wedges like it was in a "Hungryman" TV tray dinner. We will never go back. Kids food was the same poor quality.

Friendly folks and good food. I'd give it five stars except the burgers are only so-so and a few times I've had meals that were less than stellar (including some very rubbery chicken). Overall, though, it's an excellent place for breakfast or lunch in Parker!

The food was good but a bit slow. Didn't matter too much and might have been because we were there on a Sunday afternoon. They don't seem to do dinner anymore, just breakfast and lunch.

WOW! They aren't kidding about the french toast! I don't even like french toast and that is what I look forward to the most when I come here! Gave this place a shot based on Yelp! reviews and have decided that we are going to be regulars! The breakfast specials are priced great, and give you a lot of food. I love the biscuits and gravy special. I have enjoyed everything I've eaten from here, and the service is friendly and prompt (Thanks, Dawn!). Give it a try, especially if you're a french toast fan!

Great place for both breakfast and lunch! This place has a meal for everybody! I like everything they have on the menu! The service is great. All of the waiters and waitresses are so kind and caring!

I am glad the people are supporting a small town business like the Stonegate Café. Their Greek twist is so smart and different and not to mention it is delicious! I've had their blue cheese burger multiple times and it is definitely a favorite of mine. The prices are reasonable and the staff is always smiling and welcoming to any one who opens the door.

I had been to the Stonegate for lunch previously, but today we went for breakfast and were impressed. The green chili on the Mazatlan skillet was very good and it had just the right amount of heat. My husband had the French toast and was equally pleased with his decision. The service was great and we look forward to making this our go-to breakfast place.

I would never eat here again. When we first entered the restaurant you aren't greeted by anyone and I hate when you come into a place of business and don't know if you seat yourself or not. Finally, someone behind the register told us to grab a seat anywhere. So we did, but then we had to grab our own menus as well. Not a big deal, but a simple sign could suffice like "please seat yourself and grab a menu" I don't appreciate being shouted at by someone on the other side of the restaurant. The waitress was okay, nothing special. The food was awful. My food tasted like it was made from a package, like a McCormick spice package which wasn't what I was expecting considering the other reviews.. My food was warm, but lacked quality and freshness. My husbands plate looked like it had already been digested, when they put the food in front of us I thought -hmm this doesn't look good. We left feeling terrible with a sour feeling in our stomachs. Awful. I will never be back.

I love this place! My husband and I always go during the breakfast specials it's great prices and enough to fill us up! Everyone is so sweet there and your coffee is never empty. Love this place!

Comfortable, relaxed atmosphere with attentive but not over the top service. Our breakfasts were prepared just as requested. The corned beef hash had those little tasty crusty bits and not overly fatty. Chicken fried steak lightly battered and crisp yet tender with perfect gravy. I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

So up until recently the food has been excellent and I would have given it more stars and I'm not sure what is going on in the kitchen but it isn't a good thing. The last 3 times I have been there the food does not have any season. The dinner salad tasted like all it had on it was oil and the Chicken was a little dry and was very bland. The pita tasted like they threw it on the grill into rancid oil - not good on the tongue. I thought that I would give it a try for breakfast a few weeks later and it wasn't much better. I ordered the Florentine Omelet - still not a lot of flavor. The Hollandaise sauce tasted like they had made it with dijon mustard, it was just weird. I've also found the staff to be hit or miss. There are a couple of the waitresses that are very friendly and very good at their job - a couple who are less desirable. There is a new sign on the door that says starting 9/1 they will only be open 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, daily. If you want better Greek food you should try OPA - which just east on Lincoln.

Good breakfast, good service, good price. Kind of a neighborhood diner with a homemade vibe. It reminds me of a family-owned diner in a small town... The green chili is flat incredible. Seriously - this is a much better alternative to IHOP, Village Inn, etc.

This is a solid place for breakfast. I am a breakfast snob which is why I only gave it 3 stars. I ordered the Greek omelette and it was good, but eggs were a bit burnt. Home fries could've been a bit crispier. Also the orange juice was not fresh squeezed but a concentrated sugary concoction. Coffee was good. Service was excellent, the ladies were very nice and attentive.

Doing a yelp search near my son's lacrosse game we found this small and very nice cafe. They had all we needed for lunch for an adult w/2 kids at a good price. Staff was very friendly.

Great French toast. Crusted with con flake bits. Crispy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. Must try if you like French toast.

We ate here for breakfast and we thought it was pretty good and well priced. We this place on yelp. I think breakfast should just be breakfast, no fancy stuff. And that's what we got, and it was good. I got the biscuit and gravy with sausage, potatoes and eggs. My son got the French toast and my wife got the burrito All was good. The restaurant was clean but nothing fancy. Staff was friendly. We would eat here again.

Can't tell you how good a breakfast this was , I highly recommend the homemade chicken fried steak and the French toast. My wife and I went cause of the yelp reviews and they were spot on

This was my first time, and I will preface this review with the fact that I will return to try a few more things and experiences. I am excited to see this type of restaurant in Parker that is not a chain. I love supporting local business' First off the pancakes are AMAZING...I loved em! I thought bigger, better and fluffier than village in or the like. Diffferent flavor syrups would of been nice. I guess M-F before 10am they have a $3.99 meal special that has a hand ful of plate options. I don't think you could beat that at Mc Donalds for the price, or the flavors lol. I got quick attentive service from the servers and everything came out quickly. My few critiques to the owners for this place to be better would be: The servers need to limit their chatter to a quiet quiet level amongst themselves. This restaurant is very tiny and a lot of people go out for breakfast for relaxation, friendly conversations, newspaper reading, or quiet work focus. These two ladies were blabbing and blabbing about anything and everything to each other and it was very distracting and annoying. If I was to repeat back to them all the stuff I know about them they would think I'm a stalker, yet all I did was eat there for 30 minutes. They also found it comfy to keep sitting at one of the booths yet hopping up and down, up and down, up and down every time a customer walked in or a table needed something....again very distracting...and as an owner I would of preferred them to be cleaning or something while on the clock... I get it young kids It was a beautiful day, but the patio was not set up or available. Its Colorado!!! I would also say there cooks need to step up the flavors on some things. The home potatoes had not a lick of salt, pepper, garlic powder, fresh garlic, cumin, paprika, herbs, onion or ANYTHING on them that would make them amazing...just oil fried. They were also cut up in VERY different sizes- some super skinny and others very fat. For being a really great home cook I think there needs to be consistency in chopping size for the most uniform tastes...otherwise you get some burned super crispy and others soft and harder. I also find breakfast potatoes should be very nice and crispy, as in the oil needs to be HOT, these seemed a little closer to the soggier side as if the oil wasn't quite hot enough when they started or they could over been over stirred...fry...leave alone...and flip....ONCE! Or you loose the crispy love! Potatoes can make or break a place...so again I'll try but..... The chile rellenos were very crispy (American Style) and the chile was good but I think they overkilled the inside cheese...it was like oozing out of control.and I love cheese...but too too much.... most of it stayed on the plate. It would of been nice to have the option for a spicy chile as this chile is at a level zero in regards to hotness...I get it ...old people etc. BUT adding a hotter version would be great. This restaurant kindof has that fry oil smell when you walk in and so maybe some better ventilation could help. I like my air nice and fresh and some restaurants just have poor ventilation for the kitchen. Then that fry oil smell gets stuck in the carpets etc...Im rambling but just a guess:) Maybe some plants and a carpet cleaning would help...lol

When we walked in 4 people greeted us at different times. The food was very good. Service was attentive. We had 5 people in a small booth. But the food was delicious.

Great little neighborhood cafe that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Had a business breakfast here the other morning and really enjoyed it. The service was fine and the food was delish! I had the french toast special. The eggs and bacon weren't all nasty and greasy like the ones you find at Denny's or Village Inn or IHOP. They were perfect. And the French toast was awesome! It had some crunchy stuff cooked in with the eggs, and I asked the server what is was. She had me guess, so I said cereal. Corn Flakes was the answer! They were all ground up so you couldn't tell what they were. Who woulda thought? I'm gonna try it at home next time I make some French toast. Oh, and the orange juice also tasted great. I will be going again! Just need to find another business contact to meet with. Anyone want to buy or sell a home? I'll buy you breakfast!

I had the French Toast Special and it was great! The French toast has a crunchy exterior that makes it unique and very tasty. It comes with a side of potatoes that were also crunchy and flavorful. Excellent place with great service! I will definitely go back.

Sadly, the last two times I went to the Stongegate Cafe the food was not what I expected. After having had some excellent meals this Spring and early Summer, this was a letdown. The gyro meat was on the dry side and the tzatziki was bland. The fries were also pretty limp. I hope they turn things around, but the restaurant seems to have gone from "very good" to "just okay".

OK. Kind of tucked back and hard to find. Had a work lunch thing here, or honestly would never have even known it existed. I've been in this shopping area a hundred times, but never saw it before. A hidden gem, you say? More like a hidden semi-precious, low cost stone. Just okay. Maybe this is why no one knows about it? Not sure. Can't say that I'll make my way back, as nothing was good enough to remember.

Simply Awesome. the food is great and the service BETTER! We eat there twice a week. I ask them to make my hash a special way and they do it with a smile every time See you there! Mark.

This is a good place it hit if you're looking for a fairly cheaply priced sit down in the area. The food isn't anything entirely spectacular, but it is still a tasty place for a relaxing bite.

I visited this restaurant due to the high marks in Yelp. I like to try local non-chain restaurants, although we do frequent chains. My meal was delicious! I ordered the greek club salad w/chicken. The chicken was flavorful and the vegetables crisp. The flatbread was lightly toasted. Everything was fantastic with a great price. We were greeted by several of the staff and all were smiling and pleasant. The meal came fairly quickly considering it was all freshly made. I will definitely return.

Favorite spot for breakfast in all of CO. I consider myself a foodie, and all the normal picks are either overpriced or dirty - which isn't always a bad thing, but somebody needs to tell Denver residents that it isn't a pre-req for a good restaurant - clean restaurants can be good too! French toast is best I've ever had - home fries are good, prices are very fair.

Updating my review as I've been several times now. I agree that even in the short time that we have been going I've noticed the quality of food change. I'm not sure if it was a chef change over or what... but they also recently changed their operating hours. I don't think they are even open for dinner anymore just breakfast and lunch (think they sign said they are going to start closing at 3). The couple times I tried breakfast on the menu here I was not impressed, however the people that I went with seemed to be content and that is why I have not downgraded my rating as much I would. Also, the last time we were in the waitress forgot to bring the sauce that is supposed to come with our dinner and the portions seemed noticeably smaller.

Not fancy. Great food, though, and big portions. Nothing too greasy or salty, served promptly at the perfect temperature and with a smile. There is no place better around here for REAL diner food and they serve it up for a great price.

Had lunch there yesterday with two friends. Menu was pleasantly diverse. Had the Gyro plate and it was excellent. One friend had the corned beef hash and said it was very good. I'm looking forward to eating there again. Service was good and the price very reasonable for the quality of the food.

Friendly, clean, reasonable...and my only complaint is that they are no longer open for supper. If you are a breakfast fan...you have to try their French toast. I have never had better. All of their food is delicious. Sunday mornings get busy from the church crowd. Hard to see their business front (in the corner of the strip mall). Nice outdoor patio for those warm, summer mornings.

One of our favorites in Parker. We have had both breakfast and dinner there. We love breakfast- plenty of choices but we really liked the corn beef hash, great green chile AND great service, who could ask for more? :) We will be back often!

I have only been here for breakfast, but it has been good every single time. The food tastes fresh and is served piping hot. The service is on the slow side, but the food more than makes up for it. I'd like to give them a try for lunch or dinner. Best breakfast in Parker, hands down.
