Service could have been a little better, but food was excellent and a good sized portion!

Stopped in for dinner tonight with new friends who live in Elizabeth. None of us had yet been to Elev. 5900 Kitchen & Bar so thought we would give it a shot. Entering through the north side of the building it felt like we were coming in the back door, but it's the front door? Kind of confusing but no biggie. Sat at a table in the main dining room which was nice. Simple decor, large open windows to Main Street and a nice bar. Although we didn't sit out there on this visit, the patio was large with a great view of the sunset tonight. The menu was small yet ample and our table ordered a little bit of everything. Fettuccine Carbonara, Smothered Pork Burrito, 5900 Burger and the Pork Tostadas. The opinion of the table was that the food was portioned well, (not gourmet leaving you hungry or spilling over leaving you gross) and had good flavor, but not...I dunno. Excellent. Just good...and I have to admit I expected a little more. The local craft beer menu had great choices and the Deep Eddy Vodka drinks and cocktails were definitely priced right. For dessert we ordered the chocolate bacon bread pudding. Again fun...not super sweet, but not AWESOME. I'll have to admit I really wanted to fall in love with Elev. 5900 Kitchen & Bar, but instead think we'll head this way for happy hour drinks and aps and skip the full meal.

Went for brunch around 11 during Farmers Market. Took awhile to get greeted and young staff seemed clueless about customer service. Grabbed a table outside and finally got another menu. The earlier reception was so poor that I was ready to leave for Tailgate burrito and not tolerate sucky service. They suddenly amped it up and the food was tasty. Not super hot But good and they were more attentive than expected. I would go again and tolerate the crap attitude by the servers lingering around the bar and make it to an outside table.

The management of this place stinks. I would never go back and neither should anyone else. Our burgers were wrong and they said it would take 60 minutes to correct the problem, so we ate them. We did ask to speak to the manager and he came by swooped our plates up and said you ate you buy it.....the owner will not even respond to the phone calls we have made.
(1)Thea M.
The food was delicious and prepared in the perfect portions. My husband and I were able to finish everything and not feel disgusting! The house special ravioli and burrito are killer. They have a pretty sweet beer selection as well. The service was nice and we felt like appreciated guests. We'll definitely go back! So far it's our favorite place in downtown Parker.

Had Bob as our waiter on a Thursday night. Great food great prices and great service. Patio was awesome. Look forward to our next visit.
(4)Bryan H.
Have been here multiple times and it's a crapshoot. Have had some good dishes and some pretty poor. The cheap Deep Eddy mules and cheap craft beer pints are the reason I will keep going back. It'd be best to stick to simple entrees and sit outside and throw a few back. Don't be tempted to try the fancy stuff.

Came here for brunch sunday. Left very disappointed. The place was almost empty. I think there were 2 other tables there. It was 5 minutes before anyone came over with water or menus. The menu was very short. I think there was 5 items. I went for the breakfast burrito. I wasn't expected much but I honestly couldn't tell you what was in it. Supposed to be eggs, chorizo, etc. cutting open the burrito, everything looked the same. Had the consistency of tofu and was very salty. The service was average after a rough start. Could have been better overall.

My fiance and I recently moved to Parker, and we were so excited to have such a great selection of restaurants right on Main Street. Elev. 5900 was the one we were most excited about, and decided to try it out about two weeks ago. For a Friday night, it was not busy at all, and we were seated immediately and given waters. My fiance got a phone call, and the waitress said she'd be right with us when he was done. His call was done in less than two minutes and...we waited. And waited. And waited. For more than 15 minutes. Not one person stopped by our table to take a drink order, a food order, check on us, nothing. The waiters were standing by the bar chatting with each other, and made eye contact with us several times. Not one of the many waiters came to our table, despite us making it very clear we were ready. The only time someone even came near our table (after the initial waters) was when we finally stood up and walked out; one waitress ran up to our table in distress. The food looked amazing, the drinks looked amazing, but such a bad first impression can't be fixed. Too bad we didn't get an opportunity to even comment on the food and drink. I seriously doubt we will ever be returning here for another disappointing experience.

We come often because it's convenient. Food is good, not great. Service is usually terrible. Slow, young kids running around clueless as to what they are supposed to be doing and the manager has an attitude. May not be back for a while

6/2/15 - back again and enjoyed the patio for my husbands birthday dinner. Wonderful meal and service. Shared the chocolate creme brûlée this time and again, wish we ordered two!
(5)Lisa H.
This was my first time here, even though I've been in Parker for over a year. Let me say, I hate myself for not trying it sooner. The staff, though young, were attentive and CONSTANTLY moving and paying attention. The prices are more than reasonable and the specials delicious. Cool space, unique food, excellent drink prices. I'm in love.
(5)Suz W.
This is a wonderful place for a quiet lunch. They have a limited menu but with very interesting seasonal choices. House made raviolis were delicious and the curry soup was wonderful! It's delightful to be able to eat lunch in a restaurant where we could hear the people we were with!
(5)Diana R.
Food was good! Drinks were priced at an awesome rate and delicious! Service was fast! The recommendations that were given for the appetizers and the drinks were on point! The environment was laid back and comfortable.

FYI: Elev 5900 charges $2.59 for EACH cup of coffee. There are no free refills. Food was ok, but service rated poor. Our friends got their meal, our meal was sitting waiting to be delivered. Two service people picked up the ticket looked at it and set it back down again without delivering the two plates since our waitress was at another table. Had to ask the mgr to bring our meals before they got totally cold. My question is, do they also charge for soda refills? Don't think I'll go back to find out.

Really don't know what to think about this place. The food wasn't bad by any means but the overall experience was rather odd and off putting. Being new to the neighborhood we wanted to try a local restaurant. Walking in we notice the 2 for 1 ladies night wine special on the chalk board outside. We order 2 glasses of the same wine and glanced over the menu. It was 6 o'clock and was kinda surprised they didn't have a happy hour menu on the bar. I figured they didn't have one and we placed an order for two apps. While we were waiting for our food a couple sits at the bar and asks for a happy hour menu. Hmmmm..... Our food comes out. It's okay, nothing special but nothing to complain about. We get our bill and are charged for 2 glasses of wine. When we asked about the 2 for 1 sign the bartender corrected our bill. Between not being shown the happy hour menu (especially because we only ordered apps) and being initially overcharged it felt like going to somesort of club where you had to know about the specials or they just charge you full price. The bartender refilling my water while still chewing his food that he was shoveling down behind the counter while watching sports on tv was the nail in the coffin. Something I would expect at a sports bar, not a so-called wine bar with the prices they are charging. Sorry if I'm interrupting your dinner, sir. Will not be going back unless I find myself stranded and starving on Main Street and everything else is closed.

I reluctantly update my review, as a great restaurant was much needed in Parker and 5900's promising start lingered. This was my go-to place for great risotto for only $9 at lunch. The last two visits the risotto was so salty and lacking the flavor and consistency that once made it great, I haven't been back since. Sad to see another restaurant in Parker just be mediocre when it comes to the food.
(1)Joe R.
Staff rocked. KIMI was the best. We had a great caprese salad and the Pork Tenderloin. Both were delicious. We asked to split the meal and everything came out in twos. So accommodating. Wine selection was not huge, but eclectic and spaced enough to try some blends I would normally not have tried. My daughter and I loved it.
(4)Corey R.
Best brunch I have had in a long time. The service was great and the food was better
(5)Jaime J.
We came for lunch, service was very friendly, owner came out to greet us. I had their risotto with a Bloody Mary. Both were unique, a hint of chipotle in the bloody, yummy. My hunny had their special, the Italian burger and it was very good. Looking forward to going back for dinner.
(4)Evan B.
Glad to see a restaurant that's not a chain in Parker. Cool location and interior. The staff wasn't particularly friendly or responsive. They did a good job but nothing to rave about. Food was pretty good though and presented beautifully. Worth a shot if you haven't tried it.
(3)BrentandMichelle W.
Was sooo excited to try the Lavender Fried Quail. The carrots that came with the Quail were amazingly perfect. The Quail however I'm thinking should be roasted instead of fried. Frying the quail took away the flavor you would hope to find in this dish. Roasting probably would enhance the flavor and offer a juicy bird. Or they could offer up a lavendar sauce of some sort to go over the fried quail. The bird was just too dry. We started with the calamari which was pretty decent so we will be back to try this place again, but not for the quail. They also need to tone down their lighting at night.
(3)Kathleen M.
They allowed us to order from the lunch menu even though we were in at just before 4. I had a Reuben. The flavor was a fun twist with spicy pickles on it but it was lacking on the meat side. The Champagne Vinaigrette was HORRIBLE!! No taste. The French Dip was awesome!!!!! Service was lacking.
(2)Peter G.
This is our "go-to" restaurant in Parker? Why? The food is always top-notch but not pretentious. The wine list is full of boutique wines that you can't get anywhere else. The service we receive, in particular from Rich, Leo and Matt, is as knowledgeable about the food and wine as it is friendly. In a town of chains, Elevation 5900 is "off the chain." Just go.
(5)Dan C.
We love this place! Rich, Ryan and the whole staff have made it wonderful to come and enjoy the food and wine. The wine dinners are fun and informative. Try the meatballs and French dip!
(5)Casey M.
I have been to Elevation 5900 several times and every time I have gone the service has been good and the food good too. The reason for the three star review is that it just seems very basic to me. The food that I have experienced here does not elevate my palette as the sign suggests. I will keep giving this place a try. Maybe I just haven't had the right dish yet.
(3)Ally H.
Plates are small compared to the prices. Service wasn't the issue today as it wasn't really busy. My dad ordered a burger medium rare and it came out charred. Worst than well done.Told the waitress about the quality who told the manger and he walked right by us saying nothing. Finally after 10 minutes waitress comes back and says to my dad your beer is comped. LIED only my mom's beer was comped because it was cheaper. I don't see this place making it in the long run

This location in Parker has been through a few incarnations and so far this is the best of them and hope that Elev. 5900 KItchen & Bar is around for a long while. The menu is inventive and I like that it changes up periodically so frequent diners aren't bored with the same choices. They are active on Facebook so you can see what is going on with daily specials and what special beer & wine events are scheduled. Nice atmosphere, decent wine list and fun cocktail menu. The one thing they can work on is the service - I've had both good and mediocre service in the handful of times I've been there, with the mediocre service being handed out more often.

Things seemed to be going fine except for the slowness on refilling our drinks but I'm willing to forgive that. I know servers get busy and it seemed our waitress was busy. But then she disappeared and our food was brought out by another gentlemen who seemed like he was put out by it. My son's chicken fingers were still frozen and we weren't even offered an apology. We were never even asked how our food was until 20 minutes after it was served. Im a waitress too and I know things can get overwhelming, but when you acknowledge a mistake and a little remorse, it can make up for it. My son ordered the Fettuccine Carbanora and the sauce was more like buttery grease with no signs of the bacon that was supposed to be in it. My daughter ordered a well done cheeseburger and it was burnt. If only someone would have asked us how everything was, we would have said, but I couldnt even manage to make eye contact with anyone.Im a single mom to 4 kids, who works 2 jobs. Spending $80 on a mediocre dinner, while being pretty much ignored, isnt an easy thing to do.

I have been here several times lately. Wonderful food, great service and prices; especially good wines at reasonable prices.
(4)John T.
After seeing a new restaurant open up, I went to try it out thinking it may be a nice addition to Parker. I was disappointed in the service that was provided and for the price of the meal and wine it was only mediocre. I may go back but I would hope that the service and meals would improve for the money in which they have listed for there meals.
(2)Crystal W.
I've been here numerous times since they've opened. The food is overpriced for less than quality food. The service here is touch and go. I've had really nice servers and extremely rude servers. I'd go back for a glass of wine on the patio in the summer... You can't screw up wine.

Several factors make a "good" restaurant "great" in my opinion. FOOD: I've had lunch and dinner at elev. 5900 many many times and can say that I have not found anything that wasn't well prepared and awesome tasting. FULL DISCLOSURE...I don't like seafood so I have not tried any of their seafood...but everything else has been beyond my expectations. My go to meals...Wedge Salad with extra bacon. I have it for lunch frequently. 5900 burger with bacon...usually my dinner meal and it is out of this world. Thick slab of smoked cheese, nice bacon, incredible bun and the best part...Rosemary french fries. They are out of this world. SERVICE: The staff at elev 5900 are friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. They are very "local" in their operations. What I mean is that it is not uncommon to walk in and have someone great you from across the room and say "Sit where ever you like"...this might not be viewed by some as a good thing, but for me that "family" feel of comfort is important. Also having the local owner frequently working (or seeing his wife and kids in the restaurant) is pretty cool. KNOWLEDGE: Put simply, whenever my wife and I go she completely leaves the wine choice up to our server based on what she orders...after dozens and dozens of dinners there she has yet to be disappointed. AMBIANCE: Historic pictures of Parker on the walls, re-purposed old farm equipment and tin roof panels, juice jar lights, vintage looking bar...all really cool. However, nothing compares to their patio. Truly the best place to have a meal, drink, meet friends...whatever. COCKTAILS: I'm not a huge wine drinker but I do love a good cocktail. No disappointments there either. My favorite is the Ruby Red Moscow Mule. A must have. All in all...one of my favorite restaurants in Parker.

A reivew update... I've been going to Elevation for a while now and have always been disappointed with the wait staff and host. Their attitude was always rude and obnoxious but what kept me coming back was the diversity of the menu and the fact that it changes often with great new additions. Plus, it's convenient for me and I love the downtown Parker area. I will have to say that my last several visits have been extremely pleasant. I'm not sure if the owner finally got the message about the poor attitudes but the vibe with the staff has been much more enjoyable and friendly. Hopefully this is a trend that continues in a positive direction. I've been so impressed that I need to add two stars to my rating of Elevation. The Calamari has always been one of my favorites, it's very tender, not chewy and the breading is perfect, not too thick. A new favorite of mine is the grilled Brie. You can never go wrong with the Train Wreck burger. My wife had the Chicken Pot Pie and commented that it's the best she has ever had. Bummer that the Shepard's Pie is no longer on the menu... We've had Max as a waiter a few times and he is awesome! The food continues to be great and Elevation is a kid friendly place. The bar is great, has a very classy feel and it's great if you are just wanting to have a drink. If you've had a bad experience here in the past I recommend that you give it another try. It's a locally owned place so give them the support. Just remember to make a reservation for Friday or Saturday dining.
(4)Christina M.
We have been to Elevation several times both for date night and with kids and friends for lunch. Food is really good and staff is usually really good. (We did have a couple visits that staff weren't very attentive.). Drinks are excellent.
(4)Blake H.
My wife and I visited Elevation 5900 for a Sunday lunch and came back the following Friday for dinner. I do not say the following lightly. The Trainwreck burger is the best burger I have ever tasted. The hamburger was flavored well, the bacon was thick and crisp, the avocado ripe, egg fried to perfection, and the vegetables fresh. Basically, it was everything I hoped it would be and more. The burger was upstaged only by the rosemary "crack fries" that came with. It was the perfect hangover meal. It is true what others say about weekend reservations. The wait was 2 hours on Friday night. We were lucky enough to make the last reservation earlier in the day. Let me start by saying that I was kicking myself at every turn for not ordering another Trainwreck. That said, the food was excellent, again. We started with the crab cakes. Crispy on the outside and garnished with sarracha ketchup and homemade tartar sauce, they were the perfect start. While perhaps overpriced at $10.59, they were worth every penny in my humble opinion. For our main courses, my wife ordered the daily risotto special and I the lobster ravioli. We would not change one thing about either dish - both were delicious. We finished with the pumpkin creme brulee, which was the only let down. Then again, how do you improve on the world's best desert? The service issues noted by the other reviewers are valid. The wait staff does not "rush" you out of the restaurant. Plan to be there for 60-90 minutes, at least. However, the food (especially that burger) trumps all. To be safe, go for happy hour or a weekend lunch. Either that, or make a reservation and plan your night accordingly.

Needed a glass of wine after a rough month. Came in and the service was wonderful. Had two glasses of wine and some chili and the Rosemary fries. Super delicious. Good food and in a really great location!
(5)Justin J.
Amazing food, atmosphere and service! Always feel welcome like I'm at good friends house. Food is top notch and sets a high bar in parker. You will not bd disappointed!
(5)Nancy B.
My husband and I frequent this fun, quirky, yet trendy place in downtown Parker. The $6 mules are worth it alone! We've sat at the bar several times and in the dining room, and we've experienced great service every time. I enjoy their small plates menu - the Brie plate and pork carnitas being my two favorites. My husband ordered the lamb last time as well, and it was beautifully plated and tasted even better! It's sad to me that the reviews for Elev. are so inconsistent - we've been so many times and love it!
(4)Susan C.
My husband and I have been searching for a chef owned restaurant in Parker, and are thrilled to have found 5900! The lunch selection is amazing. My all time favorite is the French Dip. It is the best I have ever had; in fact, I stopped ordering it other places because nothing is as good. I also love the grilled cheese, burger, meatballs, and salads. I have tried nearly everything on the dinner menu, and especially love the fish and chips. The ceviche is fresh and bright, and the daily flatbreads and housemade soups always hit the spot. My kids enjoy the risotto and ravioli, and always clean their plates. You can't go wrong with a Mule to drink, anything off the wine list, mimosas on Sunday, or a nice cold beer. I hope you take the time out to try 5900. The wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and have terrific recommendations. The kitchen staff and owner work hard to provide an unforgettable experience each and every day.

We went here for lunch a few days ago. It was disappointing to say the least, and it's pricey, for what you get. A lunch salad, that is smaller than a quarter of a wedge of lettuce, with no meat...........for $11.00. Really? I ordered the taco's, and asked how many came on the plate, waiter said, "two, but they are fairly large taco's." Entree arrived and the taco's are same size as Taco Bell. I could hardly find any beef in them. The plate was accompanied by a cup of tomato bisque soup.............but the soup had no cream base, it was like puree. Entree was $10.00.......for two taco's and a cup of soup? Some would consider the menu trendy and hip, I thought it very lacking in variety and limited compared to most. This place is trying to be like the big dogs, but somehow just can't quite get it's leg high enough.

We feel very fortunate to have a restaurant as unique as Elevation 5900 so close to us, here in Parker. Gems like this are usually only found closer into Denver. We've been a handful of times, and it simply seems to get better and better. Tonight was spot on. I had the salmon with a house salad. The salmon was cooked to perfection. The combination of fish, salad and a glass of Cab Sav was excellent! And I'm originally from the east coast where seafood is the holy grail. My wife had a hamburger and couldn't stop telling me how good it was. And of course, their rosemary fries are insanely good. Pricing is better than competitive. Where can you go and get top shelf drinks for $6 and under? And service works like a team, as they should. We tried finding something wrong or to find a downside and could not. Can't wait to bring my father and mother n law when they visit soon. This is one place we need here, it adds to Parkers' charm and quality.
(5)Mary S.
We sat at a lovely little table by the window for lunch. The atmosphere was like a New York bistro... Very tasteful. Our drinks were lovely. Great service and the Thai Soup was heaven! I will definitely be back for some more... Very soon!

I have been debating writing this review because I have had two experiences here that are completely opposite of one another. A few weeks ago we discovered this restaurant and found it to be absolutely outstanding. My husband and our two children (ages 2 and 10 months) were wandering aimlessly and hungry and saw that they had some seating on a patio. We figured this would be good for our children to be able to try to go out to eat while still being "outside". Our server, Kyle was perfect, charming, and mature. I enjoyed his light-hearted demeanor while also understanding that he is working and doing a job. After being in the restaurant service industry for almost 10 years, I truly appreciated his attentiveness and compassion for us having 2 children with us. This was only our 3rd time ever going out to eat with them, and we truly lucked out with Kyle. I cannot say enough good things about him. I ordered a wedge salad and it was good. The check came out and it was in a book and I thought that was so creative and love when businesses go the extra mile to stand out. So, last night, after my husband and I both feeling like we needed something to do with the kids and spend quality time with one another, decided to try Elevation 5900 again since we had such an amazing experience the first time. Unfortunately our server acted like he had much better things to do than to be taking care of us. It took us an hour an a half from start to finish, which is way too long for a family of 4 ordering 1 course. Our server was snarky and lacked enthusiasm which came across as stubborn and rude. His pace was slow. He acted perturbed that we had 2 children (who both ordered meals) with us, when they were being amazing for such lousy service. It took us over 25 minutes to get our order in. Having been in the service industry, I can spot a server who doesn't appreciate his customers a mile away, and unfortunately Elevation 5900 has a server like this. Keep in mind, this is the first review I have ever written on Yelp that hasn't been glowing. The food was good, but what we loved the first time we tried Elevation 5900 was the whole experience; the ambiance, the food, the impeccable service. When that was all gone yesterday, we didn't feel we enjoyed our night as much as we could have if we had just gone somewhere else. We saw Kyle on our way out and decided if we wanted to try Elevation 5900 again, we would call ahead and make a reservation for Kyle's section.

Well...I have enjoyed eating here on many occasions because the food is always substantially better than most other Parker restaurants. (Parker restaurants are hardly a thing.) I have always been nervous as to whether this place will stick around because the service is often not great and it is often not very busy. This evening, my wife and I decided to take our two children (2 and 4) for dinner and we were seated outside. After receiving our bread and water, we waited....waited....waited....waited....never did anyone come and take our drink order or anything further. We decided after 15-20 minutes that it was time to leave so we got up and walked back through the restaurant where no one would have said a word if my wife would not have said something. The individual said it would hopefully be better next time...really?!!? When I called shortly after we left (I was too upset to say something there), the manager Jason merely tried to make excuses about it being a Friday night and that it was comfort food...um, what?!!? I have never had such a ridiculous encounter with such incompetence which is why I am writing this; I am still in shock!! Jason asked me what I wanted, after I confronted him about not wanting b.s. excuses; what I wanted was for you to have even a semblance of a clue. There is a very slim, if not 0% chance that this place is going to stick around if this is the type of experience that is possible. It is totally unacceptable, especially considering the amount of people that I have directed to this restaurant in support of something local...never again!!!!

I'm really torn on this review. My expectations were very high. This review should be a one star, but my friend thought I was being too critical. 1. I was excited to have a new, non-chain restaurant in Parker. 2. I had met the owners a couple months back. They seemed friendly and excited to be in Parker. 3. I had stopped by twice during the Parker Wine Walks and thought it looked nice. 4. The prices seemed high as I read the menu. Now the story: We were going to see The Nutcracker last Thursday and wanted a place to walk for a pre-show drink drink and snack. I called earlier to ask about Happy Hour and thought, "perfect. We arrived about 5:40. No employees up front. No sign. 2 tables had guests. A bartender who didn't make eye contact. Finally...."Where do we sit?" "Anywhere.". We chose the table by The window (5 feet from the bar which had only a couple open seats. Half the bar was "Reserved." Our waiter brought water and a menu. I asked Happy Hour. "Only at the bar," he abruptly said. Really! 10 people in the entire place. Sit at the bar? Most of it reserved! I reluctantly moved. Bartender was indifferent and slow. "Street Tacos" were "make your own." and boring. Even Happy Hour prices were a little high for average drinks. Will I return? Are you kidding. Oh, but the fries were very good.
(2)Jennifer K.
The food and service here has always been amazing. We have tried a large variety of items on their menu (the chicken pot pie is to die for) and have yet to be disappointed. They are always packed on a Friday/Saturday night so be sure to make a reservation.
(5)Michelle S.
Meh. I'm torn between 2 and 3 stars and since it was NYE I'll throw in the extra star I guess. We had trouble make reservations for 6, one friend called and they were told there's nothing available. I happened to randomly call as well and was initially told that they were only doing 2 tops for the evening (that makes NO sense!) and after about 10 minutes on the phone was told that they could squeeze in our party of 6 for the 8:00pm seating. Awesome. We figured that for $59/couple that it was going to be a decent meal. The $59 covered one shared salad, one shared appetizer, an entree per person and a shared dessert. I'd have been happier having my own salad or appetizer and I know the rest of my table felt the same. The menu choices all sounded pretty good. There was also an option for a wine pairing for $18 and a few of us added this option on. This was probably the best deal of the night. The wine pours were NOT tiny, they were full pours so for $18 and change we got 4 full glasses of wine. Service was meh. At the beginning of the evening we felt rushed. They wanted our order 5 minutes after we sat down. We wanted to linger, and not feel rushed. {The restaurant was NOT full by any means} We put our order in and I feel like the salads came out a mere minutes later. As a table both salads were tried and neither were anything to write home about. I can't remember details about either. We got our first glass of wine with the salads, it was the only one I didn't care for at all. Something white, it tasted like water.... The appetizers came out quickly as well. We all wound up with the same one. Fried risotto balls with a few pieces of crab thrown on the plate with some greens and a saffron sauce painted on the plate. Meh. Not enough crab for two people to share and we each got one risotto ball. Seems a bit lame. Also did not get our next wine pairing until these were gone. That's annoying. Main courses came out, everyone but one person had the strip steak. It was fine, bizarre that it came with literally a teaspoon of potatoes. The other person had the pasta entree and wasn't impressed. Got this wine pairing about halfway through the steaks. Dessert was the best part of the meal. We had the cherry cobbler and it was awesome. The wine with this was some kind of pinot noir bubbly that was delicious. For being NYE I was kind of hoping for a bit more oomph...but I guess I shouldn't have expected too much for that low price. We all had a nice evening but I think I'll save my $$ next year and stay in and cook my own steaks!

Great tomato bisque. Solid meatballs. Grilled cheese is good, but too much goat cheese. Largely deserves a better review than 3 stars. Nice ownership.

This place was nice. I didn't know what to expect since it used to be a brewery, but I went with my husband and and kids and was impressed. They had a kids menu with items that are favorites with the kids. My husband ordered a yummy bottle of Cabernet with our meal. The wine alone was fantastic (Silver Palm for all you wine lovers). He had a Rib eye steak and I had the bacon wrapped meatloaf. All and all the atmosphere was great and we really enjoyed ourselves.

It had been awhile since our last visit. Gone was the attitude, and in its place was great food and attentive staff.

It looks hip. It looks awesome. It gives off a great vibe. I really really wanted to like this place. However, this place is just average after dining here. Service: There is not enough waitstaff when the restaurant is busy. Oftentimes, I would wait 10 minutes to be waited on. I have often contemplated walking out and going next door to the excellent Indochine. Once service arrived, the waiter was attentive until the end of the meal, when I would have to wait another 10-15 minutes to close out. Food: It's overall mediocre. The fries are to die for. Crispy and crunchy. The rosemary makes it memorable. The appetizer calamari is delicious. Crunch and not overcooked, though I did see a cook snag a piece of calamari from the plate while it was waiting to be served to the patron. Who does that? Does the cook know that we can see hands from the kitchen? The fish and chips are good with the exception of the batter wasn't cooked all the way though. I felt the runny batter on my mouth and wanted to complain, but the waiter never came to check up on us midway through the meal. Supposedly, the burgers are excellent, but I can't comment on it because they don't have vegetarian patties to make it vegetarian. When a restaurant does not have the capabilities to make items on their menu vegetarian and gluten-free, it's a slap in the face to the customer because it's saying that they refuse to adjust. That's disappointing. Drinks: I only had the mules, and it was spot on. All in all, it's more of a happy hour place. Apps and drinks. I would definitely do that. For dinner... questionable.

Tried to eat here last night, but they had booked in a large party (probably 20 people) and the place has limited seating. Decor-wise, the place looks very much like it did when it was the Falcon Pub which means the bar dominates the room and there are only a few tables. And, it's loud. We were told that you pretty much always have to have a reservation, which would be okay except that the host was pretentious and kind of snotty about it. (I would expect that in Manhattan, not so much here in Parker). We decided to have a drink at the bar instead and then walk down the street to have dinner. Bar service was incredibly slow and the drinks cost about double what you would pay elsewhere in Parker. This is their opening week so I would expect a few things to be off but I expected them to at least be friendly, which they were definitely not. Menu looks nice if a bit pricey for the local market but if the food is good, it may be worth it. Cost is more along the lines of what we'd have expected to pay when living in Chicago. We'll probably give them another chance and if the attitude improves it might be a place we'd frequent - we'll see. Certainly they did not make a good first impression as we walked away feeling slighted and were warmly welcomed by the folks down the street.

We went tonight and the service was excellent. We stopped by thinking it was maybe another pub like place, so we weren't dressed in anything but what we had worn all day. Everybody was really nice. Wine list is decent and the waiter seemed familiar with it. The food presentation is nice and it's just the right amount. We were all full afterwards. The flavors could probably be ramped up a bit but this is Parker. They're definitely on the right track and have a lot of potential.

Headline: The best restaurant in Parker has moved one door down. Yes, I'm taking the crown of "best restaurant in Parker" away from Indochine (which is right next door) and giving it to Elev. 5900. Anyone who has lived in Parker knows that there are certain places that have changed hands a few times and re-invented themselves. This particular spot has been Jack and Jills and The Falcon in the last few years. Elev. 5900 concentrates more on wine and food than beer, and does a mighty fine job of both. Quick tip: beware the table for two right in front of the door - its cold whenever the door opens. We ordered an appetizer, entree and desserts on this trip. The appetizer was lamb meatballs - a cucumber and yogurt "salad" on the base, with three meatballs on top of that and topped with a lonely grilled scallion. The lamb meatballs had great flavor, but were a little dry and tough - just a tad overcooked. When paired with the yogurt sauce (yes, sauce - not salad), it was a reasonable dish. For the entree, we opted for the seared duck breast (with extra dark meat shredded up), which came with butternut squash spaetzle, dried winter fruit and natural jus. The spaetzle was wonderful. I've had spaetzle at some good restaurants in Austria and Switzerland and this was comparable to those. The duck breat could have had a better job of rendering the fat, but it wasn't unpleasant. The dark meat was melt in your mouth goodness. Our bartender - Karen (who recognized me because of my Yelp! review on Servinos - good memory!) - recommended the Tikves Vranec from Macedonia for a wine pairing - and I recommend it too now. Smooth and entirely complementary to the lamb dishes. However, the wine by the glass was really overpriced. I've paid less at airport wine bars. For once, dessert was possible due to the reasonable size of the dishes. We opted for a dessert each - I'm a sucker for cobbler and the special was Cherry Cobbler. My wife opted for the Chocolate Bread Pudding. The bread pudding was a little dry and needed some cream. It was still delicious. The cherry cobbler was perfect. And yes, I mean perfect. Overall, this wasn't worthy of five stars but it really wasn't far off. I need to go back and try some of the other dishes on the seasonal menu.

To the owner of this restaurant I really hope you read this! The food was good, a couple of dishes even really great but our server Jason was the rudest waiter we've ever had! We felt unwelcome the moment we walked and things got considerably worse. Jason made us feel like he was doing us a favor by waiting on us and when I asked for more soda for my son, I said "can you please grab more sprite for him?" He very condescendingly said "GRAB more sprite? Yes I will PUT some in a glass for you". We actually started laughing because we couldn't believe he had just said that. Several of us had been servers so its not like we are snooty customers. I can't believe this guy is going to ruin a good restaurant by his incredibly rude manner. We will never return to this establishment again if this is something condoned by ownership since I see several reviews about this guy and he is obviously still there. It's too bad because we would have returned for the good food and location.

Great to have a non chain restaurant in Parker...lets hope it stays open (people in Parker seem to complain alot about too many fastfood chains but support them because their kids love crappy food). Went there for brunch and the food was very good, the service was a little slow but at least they dont have a drive- thru;) I had cranberry french toast, friends had pulled pork burrito and a burger...the rosemary fries are to DIE!! Menu has some upscale classics (interesting twists but not totally froo froo) & the ambience is urban/hip yet cozy and the patio will be great in summer. Looking forward to giving it another try for dinner. PLEASE support this restaurant so adults in Parker dont have to drive to CR or CC for a decent date night meal and a cocktail!!

My husband likes to try new places and found this online. We really loved the food. It was absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed our drinks (From their menu). The person who waited on us (wish we had gotten his name) was fabulous. We wondered if he might be the owner. We can't wait to go back again.

The food is really good - The wine pricing is boarder line abusive. - come on $11 per glass for eh, so-so wine. My suggestion is you bring it down to $7 we all know the real price per bottle from distributors. Otherwise, you lose total sales because we can go other places. I enjoyed the Cioppino although the portion is a touch on the small side. The table bread is fair and the salads are good. My wife had the chicken and it was great. This is the forth time we have eaten here and like the place. Glad they opened in Parker but hope they tweak things to improve. The service is a little hot and cold depending on who you get.

This place has great drinks, but stops there. Small menu, and don't expect variety. Came on Easter, early, with only three tables and yet the food showed up to the table cold. Burger over done & they would not serve prime rib any way other than medium rare. Server was brimming with personality (lol) but maybe she didn't want to work on Easter.

Me and my wife have been here twice for drinks and appetizers. We have not had any of the experiences the other patrons have had and have enjoyed our service. Max has been our bartender and has been wonderful with his suggestions and drink preparations.

I am so excited that a new non-chain opened up in Parker. I went there for lunch with some friends visiting from out of town. The decor is nice. The service was good. The food was good. I had a BLT and my friends split a trainwreck burger. They said it was awesome. Per the waitress the menu will be everchanging with the seasons and local options I am hoping this restaurant stays around for awhile. It is definitely a breath of fresh air for the town of Parker. I can't wait to go back for a date night with my husband.

The place had been open for 1 month and three days, enough time for any kinks to be worked out. A relative in town was the perfect reason to try it out. My wife and I were a little skeptical at first because of the mediocre reviews when this place first opened up. However, we did take the reviews with a grain of salt since it was only their first month. Besides, with two chefs with the Bellagio on their resumes, how bad could it be? To the meat of it... the food was incredible! Simply put, some of the best food available in Parker when the budget is right. We tried the grilled romaine (excellent) and mussels in sun dried tomato sauce (superb!). For the main course, bison short ribs (succulent) for her, and since I'm mainly a meat and potatoes kind of guy, the pork porterhouse (juicy and perfectly cooked). Dessert... sweet bread pudding at the suggestion of our waiter and maitre d' because of the wine we happened to have on the table. It was a good pairing, and splendid dessert. My wife and I always go to restaurants for the food, not the service (some people are way too uptight about the service at certain restaurants). But I would be remiss not to mention something here. The service was... great. Friendly, informative, never stuffy or snooty. When the wine we requested wasn't available, our waiter's suggestion was a perfect replacement. And, he even offered us a free wine tasting to pair with our appetizers. I want to be full-time friends with their staff. The atmosphere was also pleasurable. We both liked the decor, especially the attention to detail. Notice the repeating mason jar motif and simple color palette. My wife loves that kind of thing. I like the simple, rustic feel. All in all, we plan to be regulars at this establishment and encourage any and all to at least give it a shot. We'll be recommending it to all of our friends in the Denver area, without a doubt. Slam dunk, guys! Exactly what Parker needed. Keep it up!

We tried Elevation 5900 for dinner and cannot recommend. The atmosphere is Chipotle with cloth napkins. We ordered a bottle of wine which was opened at the bar instead of our table - despite this being a higher end restaurant (according to prices). Entrees begin at $16 (salad not included). My husband ordered the $18 meatloaf and I ordered the pork porterhouse. The place was not busy but my order was messed up and I received beef roast instead of the pork chop. While the waitress was certainly willing to correct the order, she also had to advise it would take another 10-15min for my order. We decided to share my husband's meatloaf and was I given a bread plate to split his order. Certainly new businesses can go through some adjustments and I may have been willing to give this place a 2nd chance if it had not been for the owner. Our waitress advised the owner (Richard) comped my husband's meal but since the place was not busy, I would have thought he would make the effort to stop by the table himself. Instead, he walked by a few times and clearly avoided eye contact. His actions sent a clear message to us that he doesn't want our business so we will oblige.

It is okay. Food is interesting & somewhat tasty. A bit pricey though. And they don't have a great handle on allergy requests. I was told the carnitas stew was gluten free. Within an hour I was completely bloated & ill. Upon further questioning, apparently the server didn't realize beer was an ingredient. Duh. I won't be back although I think if you don't mind high prices & don't have allergies that it will work for you.

I may be a little generous with four stars, but I liked the vibe and location of this restaurant very much and it's not a chain. The menu was appealing and the food ordered by our group of three diners was good. I would definitely come here again and I'm fairly critical of restaurants. Yes, the food was not foodie fanatic amazing, but solid and tasty. Salads were quite good, the two gents had the lamb shanks, whick were generous and meaty. My salmon was just so-so, but the presentation was elegant. We had no bread, maybe it was forgotten and we didn't think to ask. I agree with the other reviewer on wine pricing, it's steep even by restaurant standards--I'm guessing the price of a glass is what the bottle would retail for. We had no difficulty walking in on a Thursday night at 7-ish and were seated immediately. Our waitress was warm and attentive but not a hovering nuisance.

We had a party of 10 and could not have asked for better food, wine, or service. Not only was the menu outstanding, but was also seasonal and local. I would eat there every night if I could, and everyone in our party has been back several times since.

The theme of the restaurant is great. Eat Local. It reminded me of the Pullman in Glenwood springs which it seems was the ambiance they were going for with one exception... This restaurant was mediocre at best. The prices are high and the selections are very few. The topper to it all is the server we had was by far the biggest a$@ Hole ever. He actually cocked his head and rolled his eyes at us. He had very little knowledge of the menu. My suggestion is first and foremost teach your staff how to describe your food. Second teach them some manners and customer service. Acting as if you are better that your customers..... IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. your menu could use some work and the food was far from mouth watering. Over cooked food and french fries from a bag sprinkled with some seasoning and topped with a Rosemary twig doesn't make you a unique cuisine. You have the opportunity to make this restaurant into something special but you need to do some research on other Eat Local Colorado restaurants and see what makes them work and seriously talk to your staff about their attitudes. I was embarrassed for you and more than likely will not be back and will not recommend. I will however tell my friends and family how we were treated in your restaurant.
