First time here and really disappointed. First, the food is VERY Americanized Greek food. We ordered, sat and realized we never received our drinks. Not necessarily the restaurant's fault, I think we just stepped away from the counter too quick. An employee stopped at our table and asked, "Since the potatoes will take awhile, do you want a different side instead?" I was a little taken aback because I wasn't sure how to respond. Was I suppose to know the potatoes take longer? How long would it be? Since we had time, we had some time we told the employee we would wait. Our food was brought to the table. My vegetable gyro was very good. My companion realized he was missing the pita that was suppose to come with his plate. He flagged down an employee and told her he was missing the pita. Her response was she had to check to make sure it was suppose to come with it. He had to point it out on the menu that it was included. We quickly finished our drink and were confused by how to get a refill. Several employees walked past our table with no indication it was their job. There was no self-serve machine. At $2.29/soda filled with crushed ice, I wasn't going to settle for one glass. My companion ended up going back to the counter to ask for refills. By the way, we are sitting in the restaurant as I write this. According to the time stamp on the receipt, we have been here for 40 mins with no potatoes in sight.

Not bad, kind of an upscale Daphne's. Several locally owned places that are better.

Today was my second trip here. After our first trip my girlfriend has been asking to go again anytime we are looking for places to eat. During my first trip I had a greek salad with gyro cut up on top. This gyro isn't the standard off the spit slices. These are pretty large chunks of lamb and spices that were cooked fresh. The gyro tasted great with the good dressing, a large amount of feta and a couple sliceds of tomato and cucumber. My GF had the chicken breast feast. It has about 5 to 6 large juicy strips of chicken that just burst with flavor when they enter your mouth. The feast comes with rice or red potatoes, a slice of pita and a nice sized greek side salad. The taziki sauce served with the chicken was thicker than most standard sauces, we both seemed to like it a lot. Since our first visit we have sent two couples there and both reported back with good reviews. During our second trip today, we both had the chicken breast feast and it was as tasty as the first time. I think a big reason is that the food is cooked to order and then brought to your table, it was very fresh and we haven't had a bad bite yet! The food is worthy of a 5 star review and the serivce was also top notch with multiple employees checking in on us for drinks and to check if everything was alright. My only issue is that the ordering process is very confusing. When you come in there is no real direction on what to do. There is an "order here" sign next to the register in the back, which you don't see when you come in. There is no sign of menu items, instead you have to pull a small take out menu out and look it over. This results in a mini chaos situation with lots of confused diners kinda wondering around and looking at little menus at the front of the store. If you go grab a menu and look it over then walk to the back to order. Ordering feels backward but the food is worth it. Don't miss out on this new restaurant up north.

We were here yesterday and really enjoyed it. It was pretty warm inside but I think one of the staff noticed and turned on the A/C. The food was fresh and my wife even said she'd be interested in coming back. I had the lamb Greek salad and I could have licked the plate clean if nobody was watching. Overall, I enjoyed the experience.
(4)Jeremy C.
Top notch Mediterranean food I would give it 5 stars but the hummus had too much cumin in it, I will definitely be coming back again and again and again. We were most impressed with the kitchen staff and how prompt and respectful they were.
(4)Anna B.
Came here for lunch and the hummus was too sour. The Gyros have good lamb but is way to small for the price. There are much better Mediterranean places nearby. I suggest afghan kabob, they are authentic, family owned, and have good prices. They even a buffet!

If you love Greek food Do Not Eat Here...this is the worst food and a horrible attempt at Mediterranean.
(1)Robert L.
I had the steak plate. It was a very good value for around 10 dollars. The potatoes were a bit over-seasoned, but still tasted good. My daughter got the chicken and I wasn't a fan of the texture. Good value food though!

I gave it a star because I was forced Most disgusting rotten salad I've ever seen from a restaurant

I'm not sure why this place has kind of a bad wrap. We went in and the service was quick and the girl was very kind to us. The food came out quickly and was really delicious. We had extra people then just the 3 of us this time so we got to try more food, the Creaser was really good I thought even though I don't like them, my beef tenderloin sandwich was amazing! I would eat that every single day. Really I would because it was so tender and the sauce that was on it was really really really good. My dad's Mediterranean salad was pretty good and my brothers chicken gyro was good and stuffed full of chicken. We're looking forward to going back

We wanted to go to that Burger establishment next door, but it was jam packed and since Hubs does not want to wait, we "settled" for this establishment instead. YES, its a CHAIN. Yes, you order thru the Counter just like you order thru Chipotle etc. This recent visit was on Sunday January 4th 2015. Time was about 14:18hrs. It was a LATE LUNCH for us. From their Simple Menu we opt to order the following items : * Lamb Gyro with Basmati Rice ($9.99) * Grilled Beef Tenderloin with Roasted Potatoes ($11.79) * Fountain Coke Cola ($2.29) The staff gave us one of the "TOKEN". We went to find our own seats, (booth seats) while waiting for our order to be ready. Then one of the staffs, sent our order in which luckily we checked our receipts, coz they sent the wrong order to our table. *SIGH* In terms of pricing and portions, it was slightly NOT to our liking, aka Skimpy coz Hubs do not fancy his order of Grilled Beef Tenderloin. When Hubs is UNHAPPY, I am a little unhappy... Furthermore, they "LUMPED" the Roasted Potatoes, with the Greek Salad onto one plate and just 3 pieces of Grilled Beef Tenderloin. As for my order of Lamb Gyro, it comes with Potato Chips. Err, for one its those "GENERIC" Potato Chips that tasted like those "RUFFLES" Potato Chips. Where is the Authenticity of Mediterranean Flavors?? Where is the "Comfort" of Mom's Cooking Kitchen? The Basmati Rice is so BLAND. For flavor-wise, it was just "MEH"... More like AMERICANIZED NOT Mediterranean at all.. *DOUBLE SIGH* YES, they offer Gluten Free and Vegetarian options ($8.99), so they have variety for everyone's palate. But personally we wont just drive across town just to have any meal in this establishment in the future. Hence this Generous 2 STARS Review. For a bowl of Soup, it was $3.99, while for soup and salad it was $7.99. The price range for their Salad options are between $7.29 and $12.99. For the Gyros, it was between $7.59 and $9.99. For the Mediterranean Deli, it is from $7.99 and $9.29 to name a few. Take note their version of "Healthy Sides", which you can choose for your MAIN ENTREE are Basmati Rice, Roasted New Potatoes, Fresh Pasta Salad, Fresh-Cut Fruit OR Tomato Cucumber Salad. The opening hours of this location is as following : * SUNDAY- THURSDAY : 11 am - 9:30 pm * FRIDAY - SATURDAY : 11 am - 10 pm Local Owner : Johnnie Cotton Email : jcotton@tazikicafe TAZIKI's CAFE, NORTHGLENN Location 100 E 120th Ave, Unit C110 Northglenn, CO 80233 Tel : (720)-259-8056 @23/2015

I love good Mediterranean food and this new restaurant was fabulous! Their food is so fresh and delicious. I am pretty picky about gyros and I enjoyed every bite. Their lamb is cut in large chunks and is so tender and juicy. I really liked the sauce they serve on the gyro. I even asked for a little extra. It really is hard to find good Mediterranean food in Denver so I am pleased to have come across this gem. Their service is great and the atmosphere is very warm and inviting. We received our food quickly. They serve a healthy side and chips with the gyro meal. I chose their cucumber and tomato salad and it was scrumptious. Most all their items are gluten free which is a bonus. Their menu is quite big so I can't wait to return very soon and try something else. All their food looked amazing!

Not impressed, for the same price, I could go to non chain place a few blocks west, get bigger portions, more flavor and more selection.
(2)JT B.
Went May 26, 21015. I had been driving past this place for a while and was curious. I was expecting a true Mediterranean (albeit fast food) restaurant. I was disappointed in the selection. No real Gyro meat (that nice moist mixture of beef and lamb). No tabbouleh or other Mediterranean sides. I ordered the Tenderloin Gyro, no tomato and the Pimento appetizer, soft pitas. Unfortunately they did not get the order correct. Tomatoes on my Gyro, hard Pitas in the Pimento appetizer. Plus there was no feta on the Gyro and a very small amount of Tzatziki sauce. And they put potato chips as a side. Basmati rice had a lemony taste. While the food was not bad, it just isn't what I think of a real Mediterranean restaurant. I'll stick with Garbanzos or Melitas.
(3)S H.
I'm surprised about the bad reviews. It's clean, friendly staff, healthy option. The price of food is pretty standard. I have been on more than one occasion. Also, great take out place. I have had lamb gyro, chicken wrap, my fave is the chicken pasta salad. Awesome. Fresh. Tasty. I wasn't crazy about the potato chips but I substituted hummus.
(4)Jonathan L.
Grilled Lamb Gyro would be my recommendation. I find the cucumber tomato salad absolutely delightful. This place would easily hit four stars if it weren't for the ordering system. Feels like an order bar. They are pretentious enough to ask for a tip before you get your food and or service. Like a hospital lunch line. Flavors are fresh and are good on the palate. Nice atmosphere very modern. Comfortable seating with a huge windowed front to the facility. Great place for lunch. Taziki dip another win you will not go wrong with. Enjoy!
(3)Rachel S.
I've eaten at this restaurant a few times. I really like the feasts they have. I like that they have healthy options and they are super tasty. The staff is pretty efficient as well. No complaints.
(4)Stephanie G.
The food is fresh and tastes great. The staff was friendly and the food was well priced. It's a really cute tasteful little restaurant. I had the hummus that had great flavor and texture. My boyfriend had the gyro which a had clean meat and a great little side dish
(5)Arvedus S.
So it wasn't perfect. A glitch here and there, but all told, it was a delightul dining experience and if this was the 'average' visit.... we'll happilly be back again and again. Give them a try and you'll probably come away thinking the same as we do. Enjoy!

I Loooove me some Tazikis! I'm Surprised it only has a 3 star rating.. I come here Every time I'm in denver, EVERY DAY I'm in denver, and order the Same exact thing every time! Lol the grilled chicken plate is Everything I need and want in a Meal. People laugh at me and my girlfriend for always coming back and always say "I don't know why I like it so much, I just really do!" It makes you really full, but its Clean so you don't feel fat heavy. Perfecto! Usually when I go to restaurants they make it good the first time, then ok or sub par the next time... But tazikis is consistent. Amazing (to me) Every time.
(5)Jane G.
I had the veggie gyro and the tomato cucumber salad. Both were DELISH! Great service, I will be back again.
(5)Colleen C.
During my first visit, I thoroughly enjoyed both the environment as well as the food. I had the Greek Salad with chicken which was absolutely fantastic! The chicken was so tender and the seasonings mouth watering. Once the food came to the table, refills on the drinks were a little slow, hence the 4 stars, not 5. Since then, I have become a regular customer and can always count on a delicious meal.
(4)Kandy K.
Food was good and cooked fresh. I had the Greek Salad with Lamb. Portions were large and the lamb was a great quality Colorado farmed and cooked perfectly. My husband had the Tilapia unfortunately it was really fishy, not the subtle tilapia flavor. Hummus was a bit bland but the fresh pita served with it was yummy! The table service was fast, unfortunately they are still suffering from some start up pains. We went on a Saturday night and the line was out the door, see several tables open in the dining area. The line was just to order which took twice as long as it did for us to get our food. We will give them another shot in a couple of months once they have some time to work out the kinks.

I've decided to downgrade my review an additional 2 stars due to my last experience, which will lead to me eating there almost never. My issues with this place are as follows: 1. You can't buy a gyro a-la-carte. It sucks because their sides are terrible. Ruffles with a Gyro? Come on... 2. Their sides suck. The potatoes are terrible and COVERED with lemon. They are entirely inedible. Their rice is identical. It's over-lemoned, making it taste terrible. No amount of salt can balance out that awful flavor. The potatoes clearly sit FOREVER in some sort of device to keep them warm (heat lamp, alto-shaam, etc). That great crisp that was added to them by the oven, all but disappears and turns them soggy. Their lamb is freaking exceptional, the gyros are great, but if I am forced to order absolutely terrible sides in order to get a gyro, I will literally never return. The rice is awful, the potatoes are inedible, fruit salad is boring (though the only side I'd order), and I certainly can't stand a tomato cucumber salad or pasta salad. Where's the falafel???
(2)Evan B.
We were going to go to Bad Daddy Burgers, but the line was out the door. This place was next door and we thought we would give it a try. We were not disappointed! The food was excellent and so was the service. If you like Greek food, this is the place to go. The hummus was excellent and so were the pork tenderloins that I had.
(4)Ginger J.
Not bad! The shrimp is done to perfection. The food is good for a chain, and least there are some good healthy and fresh items on the menu.
(3)Josh B.
I don't see the problem. I'm a native NYer, and I've eaten my weight in Greek food, so I was excited to see Taziki's as I drove down 120th Ave, but the Yelp reviews were shaky. I decided to try the place for take out anyway. It's very clean, and there was no one in the restaurant at 5pm on a Sunday. We got a chicken gyro and a couple of lamb gyros. Strangely, lamb is one of the few things my daughter will eat. Lucky we live in Colorado. The food is good, and yes, it's Americanized, but so is the Greek food in NYC and Chicago, and you wouldn't be complaining about the gyros in Astoria or Greektown. The gyros are stuffed with good meat, and our sides of potatoes and Greek salad were good. It didn't look like a lot of food, but somehow I was stuffed after eating. $31 for 3 Gyros? Ouch, but food's expensive in Colorado. That's something I've learned in my 2.5 years here. I'd go back if I wanted some Greek style food without driving to Yianni's in Lakewood.
(4)Julia S.
The food was gross! I am a Greek woman myself and I love my gyros but this place was nasty!!! I normally can eat anything but my lord this was terrible. Don't go here.
(1)Ashwin D.
An excellent Mediterranean near-fine dining location right off i-25. The food was delicious. The grilled chicken entree was fantastic bursting with flavors. They would do well if they used bigger plates. There was a lot of food on the plate, stuffed with greek salad, rice and chicken. Definitely worth trying. Lookout for their roasted potatoes side - well done. Their made-from-scratch chocolate cake is a fabulous dessert option.
(4)Nena A.
This place is awesome!!! Ordered a family feast and there was so much food for the price! And the flavors are perfect!! My favorite so far was the Greek salad! I highly recommended this place!!
(5)L. L.
This restaurant is very good... But for lunch a lamb gyros and iced tea ...cost $13... A little pricey in my estimation...
(4)Genevieve M.
i love this place! The food is really good, And a change from the normal palette. I definitely ate here twice in a week!
(4)R V.
Went here for the first time with my wife and we thought the food was great. We both ordered two different gyros and a hummus side. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Wait time to get our food was only about 5 min or so. Food came out fresh and piping hot. We had to almost blow on it before each bite because it was right off the grill. I like my gyros the same way I like my burgers (meat should be steaming hot, and the veggies should be stone cold, fresh, and crispy). Hummus was decent, nothing to write home about but tasty, satisfying, and filling non the less. Gyro meats were juicy and portion size was plenty. We will definitely be going back and trying other items on the menu as everyone else's food looked really good too.
(4)Pat C.
A real disappointment. It's Americanized Greek food which just makes you want the real thing. I think This place will need a menu revamp to stay open. Ruffles as a side makes no sense, and the other sides either aren't fresh or are poorly seasoned.
(2)Greg S.
To expensive for what you get here. I was not impressed with much here. The dark chocolate cake was flavorless and the lamb did not taste like lamb so in all honesty ill just keep going to garbanzos.
(2)Mandy S.
It was my first time at Tazikis today and I'll honestly say I was disappointed. I'm no expert in meat but I will say that the lamb could have used more flavor. It is for sure Americanized Mediterranean food, don't expect it to be authentic! Also, I have no idea why they serve Ruffle chips as a side. That makes no sense. The roasted potatoes also tasted sour. The service... Not so well either. I went in and stood there. This restaurant is fairly new so you would think that the employees would first ask if you have any questions with the menu. Forget that!! She didn't even say hi and was completely focusing on something her coworker was talking about. So I ended up saying hi, which to she never responded. Then she asked me directly what I was going to order. Ha! Anyways, the restaurant is very clean and kept well organized. May be I'll go back another time and try something different, like chicken! Forgot to mention... The baklava tasted awesome! :)
(2)Jeff T.
The food is freshly prepared and tasty. I've has the lamb gyros and salmon Mediterranean salad so far. The gyros has real meat, and not the composite stuff they shave off a spit. It is a bit pricey but worth it in my opinion.
(4)Rodney V.
I was hoping for a good Greek salad with dolmades, feta cheese and gyros meat on a spit, chicken and souvlaki. So I ordered what a thought was going to be a salad, a Greek salad gyro! Nope, it was a gyros sandwich! I even asked if it was a Greek SALAD and the girl informed me it was. I should had taken extra time to study the menu. Anyway my sandwich arrives with chicken. I told her I ordered a salad with lamb, not chicken. 5 minutes later another sandwich arrives. I told her once again I thought I ordered a salad with lamb. Third time around my SALAD arrived. It was good but not what I was looking for. They were nothing but professional the whole time and even sent me home with the chicken salad gyro which was very good I might add! Anyway, if your looking for the commercialized processed meat on a spit it's not gonna happen here, they only use fresh lamb and it was real tasty. The food is actually pretty good but not exactly what I would call GOOD GREEK food.
(4)Rhonda S.
Healthy eating? The grilled chicken wrap, $9, comes with a side, and potato chips. The wrap is ok. The cucumbers in the tomato and cucumber salad aren't chopped very small, and the dressing is very vinegary. The staff was friendly, service was quick.
(3)LM T.
Great greek salad with lamb! Can't wait to try a gryo! Will be back, the staff was very friendly too. They also stay open pretty late, which is great!
(5)Missy W.
I've had REALLY good Mediterranean food and I've had terrible! This was a bit pricey to me for "fast food"! It was good, fresh. I had the special and it was almost $9. Tho if I had known they were going to give me chips that I don't eat anyways I would have asked for something I do eat. The menu's are BESIDES the cash register. As a first timer it would have been nice to have had access to the menu prior to ordering. There is no menu board. I'm on the fence!!
(3)Lanette D.
Food was good - prices are high for what you get and food was a little on the greasy side. Ambiance is a 2, as it is a walk-up order and they bring the food to your table. Someone mentioned the Chipotle of greek food, I would agree, as it is more fast food than comfort greek restaurant.
(3)Raymond O.
I think they deserve 4 star's based on food and service. But the prices are a little high. I had hummus appetizer, and a lamb gyro with a soft drink for $19 and change. Both hummus and the gyro were good, the pita seemed fresh. I had a cucumber and tomato salad as a side and it was soggy. But they are worth a second visit
(3)Kady H.
Food was great and staff was very friendly!!! Not as authentic as other Med food ive had but it was still very good. I took my food to-go and it was very reasonable wait time as well as the staff was extremely friendly while I waited. Would definitely go there again.
(4)Tee V.
First time here and thought it was okay, although this was mall food made fancy and when i mean fancy I mean with waiter/waitress. Wasn't expecting to take order then have a seat, thought it was more like a normal restaurant style where the wait staff came and took your order. But overall, the food itself was good. The lamb was tasty and went well with the salad that it came with. I wouldn't say it was authentic but nonetheless, I would come back if i feeling a little greek
(3)Phil R.
I was a former employee at Tazikis. The way that it was ran, the managers, and the way they do business is unfair. I showed my best work ethic and they would disown me and treat me like I wasn't important. Not only did they show disrespect to me, but they favored all the female FOH staff by giving them more hours and cutting my hours short to 10 hours a week. There's been cases of health code violations as well. Such as a customer getting expired cucumber salad and a lady getting raw chicken in her gyro. Not to mention they made me take out my nose ring when one of my female co workers kept hers in. You guys won't Get such a shitty turn over rate if you learn how to treat your employees right.
(2)Allison S.
Expensive but worth it for the occasional lunch out if you are looking for something healthy in the area. Good grilled vegetable plate and Greek salad with salmon. Service can be a little slow but it is because they cook so many things to order, so I wouldn't go if I was in a hurry.
