Burger or Hamburger is savored as the most desired fast food meal in the United States. A hamburger is basically a sandwich prepared by stuffing ground meat patty, generally beef, between two slices of a bun cut in half. Hamburger is also famous for its seasoning. Most popular condiments used in hamburgers in the United States are mustard, mayonnaise, and ketchup. Besides ground meat patty, hamburgers are also stuffed with lettuce, onions, tomato slices, pickles, and cheese.
Hamburgers are also categorized into two types in the United States. Fast food hamburger and individual hamburgers served at restaurants are two basic types of burgers served in the United States. The individual hamburgers served at restaurants are prepared using everything including lettuce, onion, tomato, and sliced pickles as well as melted cheese on the patty or crumbled on top. American restaurants also serve veggie burgers for those who don't relish meat. Cheeseburgers are also hot favorite in the United States.
McDonalds is the most popular fast food burger restaurant serving different types of burgers in the United States. On the other hand, there are several restaurants such as Burger King are famous for serving the best hamburgers in the United States. Most burger restaurants in the United States often serve hamburgers with French fries and other condiments. If you have a liking for burgers in the United States, then you won't be disappointed. Pretty good today... three and a half stars... the burgers are always good, but this time the truffle fries were soggy, limp, and greasy. I like the Larkburger over on Alameda better than this location, but its a good option for fast food so far away from downtown. Great alternative to McDonalds or BK.

A really decent burger, very clean restaurant and super nice staff. My husband and I went to check out this new place about a week after it opened. The menu is pretty minimal but you can have anything the way you want it and the ingredients are high quality. I love Tillamook cheese! Also you can order your meat to your desired level of cooked. The bun was my favorite part-very buttery, yummy bun. The meat was okay, I like seasonings and didn't taste much, my husband on the other hand thought there was the flavor of onion soup mix and didn't care for that. Very fresh veggies too. The fries we were split on. I ordered the normal fries and my husband got the truffle fries. Both were a thin fry that was more droopy than crisp- not my fav, but my husband really liked the garlic/truffle flavor. Kinda pricey for a semi- fast food burger but definitely good quality.

The reason I came here is because I already tried Smashburger and these reviews were really good. In terms of the burger itself, the atmosphere, and the staff, this place came up short. I had the truffle burger which was alright but not the level I was looking for. The restaurant was WAY TOO COLD and made it uncomfortable to be there and it was pretty empty. Although the girl behind the cash register was nice the guy bring out the food screwed up a few times and just lacked the charisma I see at other places. Overall, I am happy I tried it but I don't think I'll come back.

Pretty good but nothing earth shattering.
(3)Rick S.
Food is very good, albeit a bit expensive. Please fix the drink machine. I have been there three times, and the drinks are the drawback. Twice the mix was off, so my Dr. Pepper was weak. Once, the drink machine was practically empty, so I had iced tea...which tasted very old. Am tempted to bring my own drink next time.

Glad this recently opened in my hood! I'd been enjoying the Boulder location of Larkburger close to my work, but when this one opened by my house I was ecstatic. If there's a marriage between fast casual and straight-up fast food, it looks a lot like Larkburger. Burgers & fries and so much more. Don't eat red meat? Grab a turkey burger. Don't eat meat? How bout a tuna burger? Ok, like total vegetarian? Tasty portabella. And don't get me started on the delicious truffle parmesan fries. They also offer gluten-free or dairy-free buns upon request. This location was friendly, clean, and prompt. I brought my purchases home to eat and the family was more than pleased for the break in the weeknight dinner blahs.
(5)Nyree P.
This location is near busy intersection and parking lot is kinda small. Staff is very friendly. Interior is well kept and bathrooms are clean. Food is good and cooked according to your order. Great selection of burgers (beef, turkey, chicken, tuna) and truffle fries are delicious too.
(4)Courtney C.
I live nearby and have been going to this location since it opened. Since the last manager left about a year ago, I have noticed the quality going downhill. I dined in tonight and while the toppings were fresh, my burger had way too much house sauce which caused the bun to become soggy. I ended up eating the burger with a knife and fork. Also, I ordered cheese on it and the cheese was barely melted which to me indicates lack of heat on the burger itself. I just think that while the service was great, the quality of the food wasn't. I won't be back.
(2)Demitri R.
The entrance to this location kind of sucks. But the burgers are delicious. The fries are good. Interior is clean and bright. Friendly service as well.

I finally got a chance to check out this Larkburger location today, as I had never seen or heard of the franchise until I recently moved to Colorado. Gotta admit, the first thing that popped into my mind was, "Who'd wanna eat a burger made outta some noisy, pea-brained bird?" Turns out the name originated after some swank restaurant in Vail back in the day that sold these awesome burgers, so I was actually pretty surprised. First off, I noticed a "People Love Us on Yelp" sticker on the front entrance. Awesome. Very modern dining area, and the front counter was set up a bit more like an open island vs. a standard fast food counter. Coke Freestyle machines are always an added bonus, as I can't ever seem to get enough of the orange and lime Diet Coke which is unfortunately not available in bottles. I went with the Chicken Burger and added bacon and pepper jack cheese. Really good. I happened to notice that the menu had some unique items, such as salads with kale and quinoa, truffle parmesan fries, and edamame. Definitely recommend. My only suggestion would be to perhaps make the beverage cups a little bigger - I paid over $2 for a large cup that couldn't have been any bigger than 16-20 ounces. It was clear plastic and all, vs. paper or styrofoam, but still...

I was extremely impressed and pleased with the detail they take in dealing with my son's allergies. They were very thorough in knowing what he could and couldn't have and the oil they were cooking in. I have never had issues with him reacting when we eat at Larkburger, but I was especially impressed with the patience the workers had with me as I asked question after question! Very thankful for this location and the staff here!!! Thank you!! Oh and the food?!?!! Amazing as always!
(5)S H.
I really wanted to like this place. Healthy hamburgers and truffle fries. It's expensive and there are two other burger places (non fast food) within blocks with larger portions for less money.
(2)Sarah V.
I really enjoy eating here, I get the grilled chicken, and while at other places I generally find some sort of gristle in my grilled chicken, that doesn't happen to me here (pleasant surprise!) The food is always fresh and delicious! They have one of those awesome drink dispensers that lets you choose from like 500 choices too. The fries with the truffle oil and Parmesan are really good, I love them, but I love Parmesan more than most people so if you aren't a huge fan of it, just get the regular fries. The employees are friendly and really help when you are not sure what to order. The place is clean and the decor is gorgeous! I love the wood on the walls, so pretty. They recycle and everything "green" too!
(4)M Renae H.
Loved the truffle parmesan fries, they were delicious. The truffle burger was pretty good too. Service was fast and friendly. The tables could have been wiped down though, they were all dirty.
(5)Austin A.
The burger wasn't too bad, defiantly fresher than many burgers their fries were amazing and something I would go back for. Definitely give it a try, you won't regret it
(4)Mandy S.
I absolutely love Larkburger. Ever since this location opened up I've been going pretty often. Their chicken burger is awesome!! I order that like 90% of the times. The truffle fries are also a must! The customer service is good; however there are days when it seems like they take forever to make my order. One thing I request every time I place an order to-go is to please wrap the burger. Normally they don't wrap it and it's cold by the time I get home. To me, it's common sense... Wrap a burger if it's to-go!!
(4)Rick H.
Best Portobello burger ever! Great service from Cassandra.
(5)Ryan P.
The burgers are okay, better than the fast food chains but highly expensive. We paid $40 for 1 chicken sandwich, 2 burgers, 3 fries and 3 sodas. I would have preferred to go to a sit down restaurant for that price! Don't think we will be back! Big Daddy's down the street is a better alternative.
(2)Maggie R.
This was one of the first places I ate when I moved to Colorado, and I've never had something like heir truffle fries anywhere else.... They are so delicious! They cook their burgers are the pinker side and they make sure you're aware of that before you order. (I thought that was really nice.) I love the food but I'm giving them four stars because they're a bit pricey. I guess that happens when you get spoiled with truffle oil, though!!
(4)Melissa E.
I absolutely love lark burger and this location is great! Friendly staff, gets orders right 90% of the time and keeps the restaurant clean on the busiest of days. The good is always delicious, the truffle Parmesan fries are the best! My only areas of opportunity would be speed of orders and their salad selection.
(5)Shanna K.
Decided to stop by here when the wait in line at the nearby DMV was over 2 hours and my stomach started to growl. Luckily, they had a vegetarian option on their relatively small menu, which was basically a portabella mushroom, grilled onions and a bun. There was also a sauce too, but that was egg based, so no go for me. Burger was ok, and was fairly speedily delivered given that everything is made fresh to order. Not shabby, but nothing to write home about. However, their Truffle Parmesan Fries? Orgasm in a little cardboard container. Truffle haters? Stay home, as this is clearly the best item on the menu. I wish I'd just gotten those and nothing else...and maybe gotten to roll around in them too. Delish! I'll be back for L to try one of the meatier burgers to get a more well rounded view of the place, but as long as they have those fries (and hopefully some more seating, as it was a bit cramped), they are A-Ok in my book!
(4)Marcos S.
Most impressed with the timing on my order. Very fast service and very high quality food. I'm most impressed with the knowledge of the cashier. I believe her name was jessica. She described in her own words the flavor of the sauces so I had an accurate description of what I was buying. She was also very knowledgeable about each item. Definitely recommend. The food was fantastic as well!
(5)Steven W.
I started eating these wonderful morsels of ground up cow near Vail a few years a go and am very happy to see their reach extending into Denver ( and hopefully beyond). The burgers are top notch and done the way I like them (rare to medium rare). I have only had to send 1 back in at least 20 visits and for a burger fiend like me that is great success. Way to many burger places overcook their burgers and getting a truly rare to med rare burger is an eternal quest of love for the ground up cow. If you want a burger that satisfies this is the place. Fries are pretty tasty too. enjoy Steve
(4)Adam P.
One of the best burgers you can buy. Always consistent. Can't speak to any other sandwiches on the menu but the parmesan truffle fries are also excellent. A bit pricey but you are paying for premium ingredients... worth it in my opinion.
(5)Andrea S.
This was my first time ever visiting a Larkburger.. and I was so excited! Using my trusty Yelp app, I searched for "truffle fries" 'cause I had this INSANE hankering for fries drenched in that addicting (yet not actually real) truffle oil. And behold, Larkburger has them. YES. Even better, a new location up north that's so close by. DOUBLE YES. It was meant to be-- I had never tried it, nor had the bf. So off we went. It was sort of a hard place to find, and like others have said it's not the best location because we almost whizzed past by it! However, once inside it was nice, bright and clean. I had a regular cheeseburger, and bf had chicken burger. And obviously truffle fries were a must (because that was the whole point of the trip). They had one of those high tech drink machines that seem to be poppin' up everywhere. My burger was good, bf said his was too dry. But the fries were golden! Yum. It was so good, I ate the bottom of the garlic-parmesan crumbles left at the bottom. I would love to come again to try some of the other burgers. I also really appreciated that they had gluten-free buns as an option.
(4)Anna N.
Great service. Althea rocks and is so great with kids. Family friendly place. Food was awsome as well.
(5)Casey C.
Larkburger, how I love thee. If you want a 5lb grease ball of cheap beef, not your place. If you want a well grilled burger, turkey burger or veggie burger, go for it. Price is good, service is always smiley and the food is great. I go here to get my burger fix.
(4)Ron K.
Really good food and good consistent with other restaurant locations as far as food quality and taste. I feel like I should take a star away because it seems overpriced for the amount of food that I get. But I feel like I need to balance this with the higher quality of food I feel I get from this place. The staff, just like the other locations, is very friendly and welcoming.
(5)Kacie L.
Small portions and slow service, but the burgers were delicious and the truffle fries were even better!
(3)Trevor K.
Located at a huge intersection, the location still sucks! The place is tiny, no place to sit at lunch. The food comes out crazy slow. The "amazing" futuristic coke machine is slower than the food. The price is steep, but par for all the new burger joints poppin up in d-town. Rant over! The customer service is outstanding. The food is amazing. All the people who say the burgers here suck, are clueless. The fries could be way better, but I hate shoestring fries. They're still good though. So despite all the negatives above, I will continue my new addiction with the Lark.
(4)TJ S.
Good Food, Friendly Staff, Clean and Relax Atmosphere! We ordered the Little Lark, Championship Burger (Bacon, cheese with Truffle aioli), fries and lemonade. The flavor of the burger was great and juicy and the lemonade was fresh. Would be nice if the fries were not so thin. Service was friendly and quick. And the selection of beverages and condiment are amazing.
(4)Teejay S.
I went in to get my Father and I some grub for dinner and after I ordered I found out the hamburgers don't come with fries or anything else other than the sandwich. All in all two chicken sandwich's with french fries came to $20.00 and to me that is half a tank of gas. I understand they use truffle oil which undoubtedly isn't cheap but I didn't order any food prepared with truffle oil. Assuming I had ordered the premium truffle soaked goodies it would of cost a lot more. Defiantly between 22-38$ for two people and for one person over 10 bucks. In the end I couldn't drop $20 on two burgers with fries, but the place itself had flies buzzing around in my face and it smelt like a boiled egg fart in there. From the other reviews the food sounds good but just not on a college student/minimum wage/under employed budget. I graduate soon so if I get a job that actually pays decently I might come back and try it, if so I will update then.

YUM YUM YUM! i freaking love this place. I had the chicken burger and it was oh so good. The ingredients were fresh and so tasty! I've never had any like it. The fries are okay though, not my typical choice for fries. They're a little too brown, overcooked and thin. Another downside is that the burgers are pretty pricey too. But, they also have a really cool coke freestyle machine, and that won me over!
(4)Nicole M.
Yummmmm this place is good. I get the chicken burger and fries. Always a good quick lunch to pick up. So good. The staff is always friendly and quick at getting your order out. The burger is messy, but a good kind of messy.
(5)Cassie B.
Our new favorite burger place! We had the Chicken Burger and it is to die for! Absolutely amazing. The staff was lovely and helpful, being that it was our first experience. We didn't notice the restaurant for a long time. its hiding behind the vitamin store off of 120th but we heard great things about it and decided to give it a try. I was never a huge fan of Smashburger but loved the idea of a somewhat fast burger joint without the drive-thru. Larkburger blows Smashburger out of the water. We will definitely be returning.
(5)John D.
Tuna burger is amazing! Shakes are to die for. Staff at this location is super friendly!
(5)Dan B.
Usually a fan of Larkburger, but the experience at this store was average at best. Kitchen staff went out of their way to berate the cashier regarding a call-in order. We dined on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was 1/4 full and the tables had not been cleaned. A customer approached the cashier and asked to add cheese to a kid's burger. A kitchen employee emerged from the back to take care of the request, as the cashier explained she was new and did not know how to handle the transaction. The kitchen employee showed no attempt at customer service and stated that the order would need to be made remade. We received our food after a 20 minute wait. Luckily we we're serenaded by a line cook who sang Ziggy Stardust for the new cashier! My turkey burger was good, fries were lukewarm. My son's burger was just warm as were his fries. My biggest issue may have been that two cheese burgers, with bacon, and no drinks cost almost $23. This seems way too expensive for a restaurant with average service, who competes with Five Guys and Smashburger. I have noticed LB has been expanding across the front range. If this is the result of their growth I may dine elsewhere.
(2)Sarah S.
MMMM Larkburger. The closest thing to IN-N-OUT in Colorado. The burgers are tasty, with great sauce and fresh toppings. They also have gluten free buns. The only reason I take a star off is because I do not like their fries. I've tried them a handful of times and they're just blah. Too skinny, too salty, and just not appetizing. I've tried them unsalted as well, and it still was a no-go. I now get my burger here and make my own fries at home. If only they could make their fries taste more like in-n-out....
(4)Jason L.
I tried the Larkburger in Boulder around 3 years ago after hearing favorable reviews. Unimpressed, I have avoided them since. When this location opened, I decided to give it a try. The burger was as unspectacular as I remembered. I liked the truffle aioli option, but the burger lacked taste and texture. On this particular evening the deep fry machine went out, meaning the only thing I enjoyed on my last visit, was not happening this time. I understand things happen, but it took 10 mins to tell us, then 10 more for a manager to come out and offer us a refund. And another 10 mins for him to actually process it. Then, another 10 mins to bring me a cup of chili as a replacement. To cap it all off, the restaurant was FREEZING. Like "see-your-breath" cold. It said it was 36° outside, but I'd venture to guess it wasn't much over 50 inside. Crazy.
(2)Amy O.
Burgers are actually amazing. The house sauce that comes on most (if not all burgers) is really good. You really can't beat the quality for the price you pay. The truffle fries are decent (again, for the price). On my second visit i got the Bibb & Quinoa salad. I wasn't impressed. Mainly because the lettuce was lame and I hoped for more quinoa. But in a pinch I'd go back for the burgers any day. Oh and they sell beer.. kind of random but it's nice to have to option!
(4)Scott G.
Off the bat - I have no problem with the location, because I've been going to the Boulder location regularly for over two years, and the traffic and parking here certainly aren't worse than that! Restaurant size definitely on the smaller side, but we were lucky to get a booth for our party of six. Pretty sure there's not much new that I can add to critique the food. What I can add is my overwhelming endorsement of the "Little Larks Night Out" deal here, which gives you a free kids meal with each adult purchase (which I believe is defined as a full size sandwich). This deal is every Monday after 5:00pm, and we usually take advantage about once per month. For about $25, we're living large with copious amounts of burgers, fries, edamame, and delicious Boulder Ice Cream milkshakes. Good times. Treat yourself. btw, I second the excellent customer service at this location. There was a small mix-up, and they took care of it in spades. A little slow on getting the food out, but I believe there was a small rush before I ordered.
(5)Kristin N.
I've only been to Lark Burger a few different times. Since I have been waiting and watching as they constructed this new location near my office, I decided to try it out. The thing I like about Lark Burger, is that as a non-red meat eater, they still have options for me. There's a Turkey, Chicken, and even a Tuna Burger. When I went to this location I ordered a Chicken Burger with cheese, and a side of truffle fries. I was very happy with the chicken burger it was tasty, but a little bit big. I was slightly disappointed that they don't have a Little Chicken burger option. It seems only red meat eaters like smaller portions? Idk. Anyways, in my opinion this is really the only place to grab a quick and semi-healthier burger around the Thorton/Northglenn/Westminster area.
(4)Steve R.
The help is just as cheery here as it is at the one in Arvada. I don't know what they drug them with. This location has the new coke machine where you can mix your own. Unfortunately parking and access suck here. If you are going, it will be in the same plaza with a VitaminWorld. Otherwise you won't see the tree-obscured sign until it is too late. It is right off the corner of 104 and Washington. Decent and clean inside and the food is larkburger great.
(5)Jeremy C.
This place has great burgers at a reasonable price. The best part of their food is the parmesean truffle fries. They are so tasty. I love them. The burgers are nice and juicy and they have a ton of options for drinks. They have one of those coke machines where you can design your own drink. The kids love them. The restaurant is pretty small so it can be hard to find a table, but it's well worth it.
(4)Ricky T.
While the quality of their food is top notch, the burger was just meh. Not flavorful, not inspiring, not creative. Just a burger on a bun with cheese, lettuce, tomato and the normal burger toppings. What got me is that a regular bacon cheeseburger with fries and a drink, was $15. That's absurd. Because of the price, I won't return. It's not worth it when Smashburger has the exact same beef, more burger creativity, and better prices.
(2)J R.
I was super hungry after a long day and a good workout and needed something quick before I freaked out so decided to give it a try. I ordered a double larkburger and some truffle fries. They didn't have a double burger on the menu but the girl at the counter said they could add an extra patty for three bucks. Sure, why not? They're only 1/3lb patties...o_O Anyways...the burger was cooked perfectly medium like I ordered and the fries were super tasty. It did take a while to receive my order, but I realize this isn't "fast food" so I'm not going to get too picky about the wait. It is also a bit pricey, but you are getting quality product so I'll accept that too. All in all, check it out. However, if you're in Fort Collins, go to Big Al's and get their truffle fries.
(4)Jeff B.
To start, I don't smoke and have excellent and healthy responding taste buds for food. Went to check out this place based on it being the newest burger joint in town with a healthy/organic/green twist on it. Menu isn't too big, which is great and has many choices of different proteins to put between the bun. I have to wait over 20 minutes on a Friday evening for our food. But, after receiving the burgers and fries, it was so well worth the wait. The burger pattie was seasoned and had a flavor to it that was good on its own. I have had my share of tasteless unseasoned burgers. The condiments and sauce on the burger complimented it well. The fries were shoestring and were tasty. All in all, by the time my stomach was full, I had forgotten about the 20 minute wait because it was well worth it. Going back tonight again
(5)Timbuktulous F.
The chili is awesome. The flavors in the chicken burger were fresh and unique. The restaurant is clean and neat and the help is friendly. Must try!
(5)Jenn R.
Could have eaten 3 or 4 portobello burgers & the fries are AWESOME. Sauce isn't vegan, btw.
(4)L C.
I had high expections but the food is subpar. I got the turkey burger- just a run of the mill frozen, flavorless, flat burger. Def not a gourmet burger and def not worth $6.50. Parmesan truffle fries were also a disappointment- some soggy and some over crispy. Won't be going back.
(1)M V.
Clean, fast, and friendly service. I like to get the turkey burgers and love the truffle fries, delicious!
(5)Frank C.
Twas our first time here. Drove up, parked and noticed that the place was empty. Thought maybe it was closed. Saw a worker walking around inside so we went in. We ordered, sat down anpd waited. In a few minutes our burgers arrived. Couldn't believe how quick that was. Began to eat and other customers began arriving and arriving and arriving. Before we knew it the place was jam packed. The burger was very juicy. Have to be careful that it doesn't drip all over you. The fries are kind of unique. They are like miniatures. Sliced just like fries are but much smaller. They were very good. The service is very good also. As we ate numerous workers came by asking how things were. When we were finished eating a worker came by, cleaned our table off and then asked if there was anything else she could do for us. We said no, thank you and we left. For all those burger eaters out there I would recommend giving this place a try. I wasn't disappointed and as Arnie once said "I'll be back"!
(4)Denney R.
First time trying Lark Burger and I was not impressed with the beef. Not much flavor in the meat. The fries are great though.
(2)Jason G.
Fast food burger at restaurant prices! My wife had a small burger, I had a large one, and we shared a fry with no drinks for $16???? The burger was decent, but the fries were greasy and tasteless. In addition, the restaurant was crowded and uncomfortable. Go to The Glen just 5 minutes away for a good burger, great fries, and for a similar price in a much better atmosphere!
(2)Heather A.
Best chicken sandwich I have had in a long time! Love the crispy jalapenos on top! I don't eat much red meat but their hamburger is also the best I've had! Cooked just the way you want and seasoned perfect! Definitely recommend this place!
(5)Robert F.
All about it! Larkburger has set a new standard in burgers much the way Chipotle set a new standard in burritos. These freshly prepared, zero bullshit wares are heavy on flavor and quality and light on frills, chemicals, preservatives and all the things that make me hate walking into McDonalds. You can get your burger here any temperature you would like and when you order it rare or medium it comes out cooked perfectly which is still a challenge for most major chain theme restaurants. And as for those things that they do outside of the beef rhelm (their chicken/mushroom/tuna burgers), they seem reminisent of items you would expect from a chef de cuisine rather than a hipster flippin' burgers. I am equally impressed with their truffle parmesan fries. The are loaded with freshly grated parmesan and hinted with truffle so as not to over power the rest of your meal. Great balance in flavor, friendly staff, unique and comfortable decor. ECO friendly to the max. WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!
