I am writing a five star review based on their PIZZAAAA! OMG it is perfect. Not too thin, not too fluffy, nice and hot and CRISP! It is amazing- and dirt CHEAP! Seriously, doesn't get better than that! The place is pretty worn and outdated. The decor didn't thrill me. But I was too distracted by my beautiful lunch and fluffy wallet to notice. :)

Don't let anyone tell you the best pizza is from New York. New Jersey is the place to go for the real thing. Boardwalk Pizza is the best I've had since leaving NJ. They know how to make a pie.

Some of the best pizza in all of metro Denver, I don't know how anyone would pick a chain over this place..... people should support small business whenever possible!!!

Good pizza, good calzone, good garlic knots, fast delivery. Overall, the pizza was good. I tried this pizza place as an alternative to the big franchises and sought out some east coast style pizza. I liked the taste, the crust, the sauce, and the price. This store offers a variety of sizes (from personal to massive) and you can pretty much personalize any toppings they carry. I would recommend this pizzeria to those looking for a fresh taste with a lot of flavor. We got our order delivered, so I can only speak about the food and not the location.

Okay, this dive of a pizza place does everything East-Coast RIGHT. The sauce, the soul of the pizza, is perfect. Dead.. on.. perfect. This is the real deal. Borriello Brothers in Colorado Springs just wishes they could come close to this. Cheese is flavorful and crust is just-right. Only one minor point is that the crust is a little flat on the ends, but the cheese and sauce go to the ends anyway so it makes up for it. Amount of toppings is great. The ingredients they use is dead-on perfect. Cheese is great. Sauce is great. This place is a total dive, however, but is location-correct for New Jersey on it's Boardwalk region. I had to look twice for sand on the floor from the beach. Newcomers might be put-off by the interior homemade décor, broken tables and booths, etc., but it's part of the correct ambience. Take it to go and eat it hot. It's brilliant and probably in the top 3 pizza places in Colorado. A+. Great work, guys.

I've had this Pizza a few times because of convenience.. it was on the way home.. I wouldn't say it's the best I've had ... it's just ok.. it kinda tastes like Dominoes conveyor belt puffy chew pizza... the sauce is ok, the crust ok, the toppings ok..overall the pricess are high for the low quality of pizza that's why I don't frequent this place.. So I go elsewhere to get a NY Style pie.

The eccentric boardwalk-themed decor of this pizza joint makes up for the somewhat confused style of pizza served here - not a thin NY style but neither is it the more doughy style favored by more commercial places. The owner, Linda, is very nice and told me that she's owned Boardwalk Pizza for around 15 years. I will be returning and giving them the ultimate test of how well their plain cheese fares.

OMG!!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!! NY pizza is the best (and I'm a Chicago girl)... This place really does not look like the place for pizza, in fact I thought it was closed down, but it is good. The window appeal is the reason why they are missing a star. I think they could try just a bit harder on the appearance . The pizza is perfect combination of chewy thin crust, hot toppings, ewwie gooey cheese, and super hot & fresh. The prices are a bit confusing on the board but the price ain't bad for what you get. The people are ok. Not friendly but they are nice and do help you. I do plan on coming back when I'm craving pizza (and I do crave it a lot)......

This is 'back east' pizza. Thin crust with a great taste and foldable. Quality ingredients with a tasty cheese blend. Way better than chain take out places. I haven't tried much of the rest of the menu because I come here for the pizza. The only knock would be customer service. Not much passion for keeping the customer happy.

Great pizza!!! We had the White Carousel. It had a great crust and the cheeses were delicious. Seller pizza!!!

Pizza is delicious, hot or cold! Italian meat pizza is authentic & yum. Atmosphere could use a facelift, but staff is great.

I'm from the East Coast and some reviewers on here who claim to also be from the East Coast claim this pizza lacks authenticity. Please do not listen to them. This pizza is right in the East Coast wheelhouse. Bright, vibrant red tomato sauce and not the dark stuff with all the added sugars like other chains. It's the little things. They don't throw on chunks of ground sausage, but actual slices from a link and are deceivingly good. Taking a bite with the thin but gooey cheese brought me back to my childhood in Hartford. Best pizza I've had since I've been back east. If there were one minor criticism, it would be the crust could be a tad crispier, but it's certainly not enough to dock a star. This place is amazing.

This is my favorite pizza place of all time! Their delivery is usually very fast and the pizza is always hot. Linda the owner, is great as well! Definitely support one of Northglenn's best pizzerias and buy local!

Great, great pizza. Tried it tonight, fast delivery and great pizza! It beats the chain pizza joints by far!

Never ate here and never will!!!! Just called and ordered a pizza for delivery and they told me " unfortunately we are to busy to deliver that far" well what's the point of having delivery service???? What a joke! I'm glad I didn't waste my money!

This was yet another failed attempt at procuring "The New York pizza experience." These guys make an honest effort, but fall short in a number of areas. One of the basic ones: learn how to cut a pizza. When half the slices are a big as a plate and the other half are the size of a Dorito, it spoils the experience. I seek out "NY-style" pizza for a semblance of symmetry in my round pizza so that I can fold it in half and hold it with two hands to take that first bite. I haven't figured out how to fold a Dorito, so maybe I need to acquire that skill before I can fully appreciate what Boardwalk Pizzeria has to offer. The crust is another issue: it is flat, greasy and almost as chewy as jerky. NY pizza is not so. The flavor was better than other pretenders floundering attempts, but not good enough to ever go back. The other reason I will not go back: the service. Too much attitude for too little of everything else. Despite what some of you might think about New Yorkers, our pizza guys are happy people and I have never had one give me attitude about going into his/her establishment to give them money for something delicious. I do not expect 5-star service, but if you look up at my star rating of BWP, you see where I believe that also falls. Guys, if you don't want to sling pizza, I get it, but please do not take it out on the customer. If you are in a hurry and MUST have pizza or suffer terrible road rage, go ahead and indulge in their fare, it will get you where you need to go. If you are looking for an authentic New York-style slice of pizza---seek life elsewhere. I know it's a drive, but Denver has a couple of options and when I have my next craving for a taste of back East, I have resigned myself to sacrifice a little time and a little gas to obtain precisely that.

Unexpected theme! Pizza and the knots were very good.

Honestly, I had high hopes after reading the reviews and am now just confused about why the ratings were so high. The pizza was super oily and the taste was just okay. My husband and I determined that Papa John's is better, if that tells you anything.

About what you'd expect from a pizza joint in Northglenn. This place is OLD, full of ancient non working conversation pieces like a piano, a Foosball table, air hockey, etc. The people working here are very nice, if slow, and most business on a hot Tuesday night was take out. Speaking of heat, the AC in this place is provided by an old window unit mounted over the door, so don't expect the climate control of your favorite mall. The pizza is above average in quality and average in price, $15 for a large pie with half cheese/half with toppings. The crust wasn't crispy at all, too puffy and Midwestern for a native NYer like me. So, all in all, it's pizza, it's edible, and it wasn't bad. Would I come back? Maybe.

This place my family and I are normally very impressed with, however my most recent experience was not a good one. I called in to order a pie, a very rude and unfriendly gentlemen answered. I proceeded to ask questions about the menu, to my surprise he was no help. Could not tell me what came on the different pizza's I was inquiring about, nor could he tell me about anything on the menu. His unwillingness to help was enough for me not to order from here again.

I love pizza, especially NY style with the thin, crispy crust because that's what I grew up eating. Boardwalk Pizza isn't the stuff of my memories, but it is a very good pizza that can be delivered to my house, which counts for A LOT in an area where Domino's, Pizza Hut and worse are the only other options. The pizza itself is quite good - the crust isn't quite NY thin, but not at all thick. The sauce is perfectly spiced and also applied appropriately thin. The cheese and other toppings are definitely above average in quality compared to the big chains. The Boardwalk Special is the way to go: one of their 3 combos or 5 toppings of your choice for no more than $19 (the price of the XL). Delivery is always when promised or earlier.

This place is legit! The lady that owns the place is actually from Seaside Heights NJ and makes some damn good food. The pizza is awesome for the price, considering their medium size is the same as Domino's or Pizza Hut's large, the dough is made from scratch and the toppings are endless. Their specialty pies are incredible. The "white" pizza with chicken and tomato is absolutely worth a try. I think that the old time Boardwalk games are more for show and authentication, so complaining that a 100 year old Boardwalk game at a Pizza joint is pretty stupid. Go to Chuck E Cheese's if you want an arcade. These guys are also THE ONLY place that has delivered to me in multiple blizzards when everyone else would not. Awesome all around.

there are many things I love about Boardwalk Pizzeria. what finally sparked this review was looking at the green bell peppers on my pizza and noticing the fresh sliced (not chopped) pieces. beautiful. check out the menu. they know how to evenly distribute toppings, cheese, and sauce and it is delicious every time! I like consistency and do not order pizza anywhere else.

A great pizza is measured by great crust. :) This pizza was awesome. Great toppings and crust. Fast delivery! Ordered from our hotel while visiting the Denver area. Glad we found it in the phonebook.

Probably our favorite pizza place...they seem to have gotten a little skimpier on the toppings lately, but still very good. We usually get our pizza here over any other place.

Hidden in a nondescript strip mall in Northglenn, this little pizza joint has a large "PIZZA" sign announcing its presence. For the longest time, I didn't know it had any other name and just referred to it as "PIZZA." Inside, there's some tables, some broken old time boardwalk games, and a TV perpetually tuned to ESPN. What this place lacks in decor, however, it more than makes up for in PIZZA. Hand tossed crust, generous quality ingredients, a delicious, fresh tasting sauce. Seriously good, high quality pizza without the frills and without a large price. In the wastelands of the northern suburbs, this place is definitely worth tracking down. BTW, the map showing on Yelp is incorrect, the restaurant is actually in Northglenn and it's on 104th between Federal and Huron. Google the address without the "Broomfield, CO" and you should get a correct map

Not really NY or NJ style pizza, but the atmosphere certainly reminded me of Seaside Heights in NJ, where things were kind of low-end. But the best thing about this place is the service. I went to Boardwalk Pizzeria (which I can only find by looking for Red Lobster on 104th and then going left) with 4 kids and 5 other adults, and it became the favorite part of the trip. It was inexpensive to feed everyone- and when the kids were done they could run around the place and play foosball or air hockey (which was broken, but 3 year old didn't care) and adults didn't have to worry about them breaking anything. I also like that they have pesto and artichokes as topping options, because they are some of my favorite toppings!

Ordered delivery last night (one large pepperoni). This pizza is by far the best I've tasted since I moved to Northglenn early last year. The dough has a nice, yeasty tang to it. The sauce is well balanced with a tart finish. The toppings are well proportioned and taste fresh. Overall, a great pie.
