pathetic service, pathetic food, pathetic restaurant. How long will it last? 3 months or 4?

We "accidentally" ate here because the restaurant we had been referred to was closed. We were pleasantly surprised. I had the California burger. It was cooked perfect with fresh guacamole and thick strips of bacon. I thought it tasted great. Everyone else enjoyed their pizzas. They were much larger than expected. The toppings were tasty and plentiful and the crust was thin and crispy. The pizzas were great value for the price. Zoey, our waitress, was very friendly and attentive. She added to our fun evening. We would go their again.

I wanted to Check out MINTURN and driving through town, I see Burgers on the Window. So I parked and walked inside. I ponied up to the bar and was greeted by the Delivery Driver and some Regulars. Ordered a Beer and a Burger, with Sweet Potato Fries. The burger was medium well to my liking and huge, And reasonably priced. You will not leave hungry. Great Customer Service all around. They dont mind if you change the channels and they have Pool Tables, and if the weather is nice Sit outside.

One of the worst meals I've ever had. We almost left based on how long we waited for a server to take our orders even though no one was there. When the food finally came everything fried was insanely greasy, the fries were cold and the appetizer came out after the food. I sent the cold fries back and am pretty convinced they gave me the same ones back based on how drenched in oil they were. Would never, ever go back.

I moved to the Valley from Denver in early April & have tried every single place for good Zaaaaa! Magustos is the only one yet to gimme what I want! Crispy, thin crust & yummy ingredients!

Waitress was wonderful, owner is beyond rude. People in the service industry need to understand that tourism is their bread and butter and to treat their customers accordingly. Margaritas are the worst ever. Skip this spot if you are in Minturn.

The Gorgonzola & Bacon burger and the Philly burger were great. This is a honky tonk, but the service was good and the beer was cold! Minturn is a cute little town & this was a good stop after doing Shrine Pass & the Shrine Ridge hike.

My husband and I went here for lunch. We were told by the bartender to take a seat anywhere so we did. We sat at the table for 10 minutes before getting a menu. The waiter said he would tell someone we were here We waited for another 10 minutes and still no service. The waiter walked by us a few times and he didn't stop. They weren't busy other then at the bar. We walked out because of the great service we received.

Had lunch here on our vacation from California and it was well beyond my expectations. My BLT with avocado was one of the best BLTs I have ever had. The place doesn't look like much, but the food was excellent and the guys serving us were great.

Magustos is constantly great pizza and good bar food. Love the buffalo chicken pizza. And don't miss the deep fried ravioli.

Nicky's Quickie was closed an hour earlier than Yelp said and they told us to go to this place. Went reluctantly (really wanted a gyro) and did not want to go to what looked like a dive. The black and blue burger was to die for! Hit the spot. The bartender was super helpful and friendly, telling us where to go for dispersed camping about 3 miles up the road. Giving a 4-star because this isn't a place I would go again, but definitely satisfied.

Bomb pizza and great service. Everyone working was very friendly and the food was delicious. Will definitely be back again!

Magustos is everything you could want from a neighborhood bar. Consistent food, fast and friendly bartenders and a lively atmosphere. I have been here at least a dozen times and each time have been treated very well. There pizzas, wings, and burgers are all amazing, all at great prices. Probably my favorite part is that they serve food and drinks every night till 2am. I have come in late (after 1) several nights and they have never made me feel like an inconvenience. They also deliver till 2am too! The only time we had less than good food, the server could tell and they took it off the bill and apologized ver graciously, even though we were not complaining. I highly recommend this place and encourage a visit after the minturn mile or just to get away from the tourists of the Vail valley.

Surprisingly good food for a place tucked into a one-horse mountain town. The drinks are plentiful and cheap, the atmosphere is casual but clean, and almost all the games are in good working order (some tourists from Europe got ping pong balls stuck in the foosball table - of course). I actually ordered "off-menu" and the staff was more than happy to not only oblige, but even took my suggestion to name the sandwich after me into "consideration." So next time you're at Magustos in Minturn, CO, ask for the Mountain Jack. It's a the best pulled pork sandwich in the Rockies.

Seriously love this place. I crave the wings and the burgers. It is such a friendly local bar. The bartenders are awesome, the drink specials are unreal and it is open 'til 2am every day. What could be better? Oh yeah they deliver and serve till 2am.

4th or 5th time ordering, have never eaten at the restaurant. every single time: we order, they say 40 minutes, we call after an hour, and they say it will be another 20 or so. When the food finally arrives it is cold. So basically don't order from here if you want your food inside 90 minutes or warm.

Awesome food. We had pizza, burgers and chicken strips. Meat is growth hormone and antibiotic free and local. Amazing burgers! Pizza was also great. Staff was friendly and we were served quickly, but came at 2 pm on a Tuesday. Great for families. The patio was amazing and cozy.

Good pizza! Crust is nice and crispy, though a wee bit spicy (for my taste, just too much pepper).

I can't speak for the restaurant environment itself because I have only ordered for delivery, but the service and food are so good. Tonight we ordered in and let them know we were getting the cake for a coworker's birthday and they sent a long a free tshirt with the food! Definitely our go to place, especially when everything else closes in Vail around 9:30pm.

When I see a bad place reviewed so well I'm always suspicious if the glowing reviews aren't friends and family. One of my employees said this was a good option for delivery pizza in my area. I thought I would first visit the brick and mortar before trusting delivery. After all I like to know where my food comes from. First impression is "whole in the wall". We didn't let that stop us from ordering as I've had plenty of AMAZING meals from establishments that aren't very polished. Food was as bad as the finishes. Almost impossible to pick through the food to get the edible parts down. Chicken parm sandwich was prebreaded chicken tenders or the like fried to DEATH!!! then chopped up. Sauce was canned, and not Stanislaus but no doubt the least expensive option. Bread was sopping with the low quality sauce rather than, bread, meat (as a moisture barrier), sauce & cheese. Basic cooking technique. Were it not for the French fries as a side I'd have went home hungry. Burger was no better. Ordered MR came out super well (in hind sight a blessing after discovering the condition of the kitchen, covered later in this review). Again, thankful for the FF as a side. Service was unattentive, although they were not busy, as we sat at a table in the bar area and the bartender couldn't be bothered to come out from behind the bar. She was too engaged with some friends who were sitting at the bar (the only other patrons) to even get our drink order. Which we subsequently had to ask for refills for much to her chagrin. Lap dog at the bar added to the filth factor. On our way out a quick peak into the kitchen revealed a total mess. Dirty floor to ceiling. I literally almost got sick thinking I put something from that kitchen in my mouth. One cook playing pool in his full uniform including apron (filthy) and another out in the parking lot smoking cigarettes (same situation, apron 'filthy') Sorry guys, won't be back, won't recommend, will share this sentiment when your place cones up in conversation.

Great food. Good service. Lousy locals. Tried to stare us down when we walked in like it was highnoon at the saloon. Would be a great place if the wierdo locals stayed away. Annoying. I have a feeling the rest of Minturn is the same way.

Below average food! Warm Beer ! And our blonde bartender couldn't stop raving about her new boobs to stop and pour us a drink! Add over served clientele and we say if you have to order the pizza delivery cause it's late ask for light sauce and cheese and beg them not to burn it!! NEVER AGAIN

This "dive bar" is situated in the cute town of Midturn. Friendly bartender and lots of games to choose from: pool, darts, foozball. Nice window seating across from the bar. Did not eat the food there that night, but there is a full Italian menu along with bar food items.

My friends and I went snowmobiling and were starving. The town looks super cute with some good choices for food but burgers and pizza was what we wanted and this place did not disappoint. The medium pizza was more like a large so they serve you a solid quantity, but more over the quality of the pizza was outstanding with incredibly fresh ingredients. I highly suggest this place! Thanks!

I was a little nervous stepping into this joint after seeing the awful Yelp reviews. Alas, the peeps I was with insisted that it was hard to screw up pizza and burgers. I immediately noticed that they place was bit confusing. There was a bar area in one room where a guy was attempting to set up some stereo equipment. We were led to the back room where there was a foosball table, a table saw, a laptop computer with lots of papers on one table and then some actual dining tables. It just felt kinda weird in there. The menu was also a bit confusing. They had a bunch of fried bar food for appetizers, burgers, pizza, and Italian food for main entrees. We decided on a small Stach pizza to split and the others ordered burgers. The pizza wasn't too bad. Although, it kind of reminded me Digornio or some other thicker crust frozen pizza. The fresh jalapeno and cilantro were a nice touch. The others seemed to like their food. I tried a fried which was fine. The service was decent. I guess I was expecting it to be really, really bad and it wasn't. It definitely wasn't good either. I'll be looking for another place to eat next time I'm in Minturn.

Honest to Bar food as it gets. Summary: Outstanding Delivery Bar food. Delivered to your home! which is rare up here, Frankly Ballsy. Their menu is perfect; Outstanding Burgers, pizza BUT also they're manning up to the fryer with some solid garden offerings. any other place up here does strictly pies and baking other fare in the oven. Tips; Try the appetizer sampler platter(its enormous.((PERIOD))), the topping are actual toppings so be surprised, the burgers are what burgers should be and finally: when ordering the take out is also in a busy restaurant. Have patience and try to remember when, or what it would have been like if, you worked in a restaurant. From outta town? maybe expect to warm your food a bit as temperatures tend to be cold as hell up here. IE.? turn on the oven.

This was a perfect late night meal for us to cap off skiing and apres ski at Vail. Despite their location in Minturn, Magustos delivers anywhere in Vail & Lion's Head villages until 2am. They offer up homemade meatball-based dishes, and have a variety of specialty pizzas along with the usual Italian dishes. We were quite satisfied with our meal and would recommend Magustos, especially if you're too lazy to venture out into the cold!

Never got to try the food. Ordered delivery pizza and apps. They apparently wrote down the wrong number. Never came. I called almost two hours later and they didn't offer to do anything. They had the right address and wrong #. Never had that problem before.

The pizza was not bad, until you got to the crust. When we ate that by itself it tasted like bleach. We also had clam "strips." There were a few strips, but the rest were more like clam crumbs. The service was okay.

Food is excellent. Cheeseburgers are organic beef and cooked with butter, not oil. Bar atmosphere can be a little loud. Pizzas are best in the Valley.

Tried this place twice. First time had the club sandwich. It was pretty good. The second time I ordered a pizza, jalapeño poppers and a house salad. The pizza was cold and very unappetizing. The jalapeño poppers where also cold. The house salad was the best part of that meal. Delivery also took 55 minutes.

Apparently they have dumped the lame staff or retrained them. Fair has changed from Italian to Burgers and Pizza (smart move.) Prices are a bit high for what you get, but then its Colorado Ski Country (tm) and you can expect a good bending over at any other place outside of Minturn. There are vids, entertainment games, and some fooz. Machines seem to be well maintained when I was there, punch-a-game was a bit pricey IMHO, but then again I don't play them much either. Food, good. Staff, good. Company/owner climbing the local ladder from poor to good and hopefully heading to 'great.' down the road.

I'm a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to pizza. I like red sauce, lots of meat and veggies, and I prefer a thicker, hand-tossed crust over thin crispy crust. Magustos is a great pizza place, but they offer a ton of other great items such as burgers and chicken strips, fish and pastas. One of their less traditional pizzas that I love, and highly recommend is the Philly Cheesesteak Pizza. It is fantastic! The Buffalo Chicken Tenders, with their sauce called Sweaty Betty, are awesome too. They have a ton of stuff on the menu I have not tried, but will be trying in subsequent visit. The specials they offer are great too, with all you can eat spaghetti on one night and $10 burger and a beer another. On Friday nights, they even have free beer for a couple hours! They also have a great bar that fills up with drunk snowboarders and French people that insist on holding the doorway open when it is negative 7 outside! People playing Yahtzee on the bar, football and Sportscenter on television, foosball, ping-pong and mustaches everywhere! If you are in the Vail area, and want a good, hearty meal and a fun, loud casual atmosphere, Magusto's is for you!

I have to say, I feel some of the other reviews are wrong. We were in Minturn for the big bike race and went to a party that was fed with Magustos pizza. I am not a fan of a thick crust on my pizza, and had been led to believe this was the case here. No! The crust was thin, and crispy, the sauce good, light and not just Ragu'y. The toppings I chose included a sausage with other toppings, and one that must have been a cheeseburger with burger, red onion and pickle, which worked for me. My wife really liked her pepperoni. I have to say, when I want a pizza in the Vail Valley I am going to look at Magustos as my go to choice. The prices for a pie are really good, the pizza is great and they deliver. This combo makes them worth a call or a visit.

Pizza mastering! Really nice staff and fun bar atmosphere with games and music. I've tried several of the dishes too...I recommend the burgers, shrimp and fish baskets. We like to bring the kids and sit out on the deck when the weather is nice.

Me and a big group of guys were staying in Minturn for 5 days on a ski trip and we drove right past this place each day to and from the slopes. A few of us decided after a long day of skiing that we wanted some pizza and since we were exhausted (and the other half of our group headed to a different resort for the day) we decided to venture just down the street to Magusto's. We were not expecting anything extraordinary, but we were pleasantly surprised. We ordered 2 pizzas (house special and supreme) and both were excellent (especially considering we were in Minturn)! It's New York style thin crust...the cheese, sauce and toppings were all better than expected but the crust was really the standout. The atmosphere was just ok but I'm rating it 5 stars based on the pizza and considering where it's located. We'll definitely be back when we're in town next year!

I think this place has one of the best pies in the valley. They actually leave the seeds in their jalapeños so they have a real kick to them, not just the pickled kind. They are open late with two billiard tables and a soon to be ping pong table. Nice, relaxed local scene too. Not so crowded with drunk people that they're stepping on your shoes.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
