Stopped in after golf - a disaster. One of the members of our party was served a salad with living things still moving in it. In their haste to provide a replacement burger ..... Patty came out seared on outside and raw in the middle. To keep our friend company while they recooked the burger, we ordered another round of beer. Unfortunately half the table was told they were out of their beer of choice. Way over priced for the quality of food and to say their weekend breakfast menu is limited is being kind - Even the old snack bar in the trailer had breakfast options for golfers. Only saving grace was effort of the waitress.

This is a great place to eat with an awesome view! We enjoy sitting on the patio in summer. The salmon is a favorite! The waitstaff is excellent!

This is the best view in town! Located at the Mariana Butte golf course, the restaurant has some of the best food in town and everything on the menu is fantastic. The manager Brian and the formally trained executive chef Bill always make you feel welcome. Its a little out of the way if you dont live in the neighborhood but well worth the trip up there. In the warmer months make sure to sit out on the patio and watch the sunset over the Rocky Mountains while enjoying your dinner. Try to come on Wednesday nights as they have 'wind down Wednesdays' where you can get half off pitchers of Grimm Brothers beer (a local brewery). My favorite there is the Cowboy Ciao which is a spicy pasta carbonara type dish but in all honesty Ive yet to have anything on the menu that wasnt fantastic!

This place has really gone downhill since Brian left. The food is of very low quality and is not prepared correctly. Frozen not fresh like it use to be. They have slimmed down their menu a lot which leaves very little choice, and raised prices. The employees sit at the bar, with customers, after they get off. Sorry but I don't want to look at their messy aprons while trying to enjoy a drink. Great view if you sit outside in the summer months and very close if you live in the neighborhood....but never again will I go there.

This place has the most incredible views of the foothills. The food is decently priced and good selection and quality. The dining room is nice with lots of windows, but when the weather is nice sit out on the patio and soak in the great views. The wait staff are friendly, but it seems like everytime we go we get a new server who doesnt have the menu down yet, but are eager to please. Will be back this summer for some patio time.

Great food and the service was great as well, but I was treated by someone who had a 'frequent diner/club card' for the place and I don't think I would have enjoyed it as much without that.

Solid bar & grill type food, and the best patio in Loveland. Great views overlooking Mariana Butte and the mountains to the west of Loveland, and no traffic noise or other distractions to deal with. Don't be turned off by the golf course pro-shop being attached; the restaurant is completely separate and a good experience.

I am dropping a star off my review for here because of their recent changes. They knocked quite a few items off of their menu, as well as bumped their prices on everything. Pretty much anything you can get now including a burger is $12+ where as you used to be able to get a burger or fish tacos for around $9 if my memory serves correctly. With their menu changes I had a little bit of a tough time finding something I wanted. It's pretty limited now. Everything I used to order is gone except for the fish tacos. Their menu now only has 15 or so items including appetizers on it where it used to have 20+. I actually ended up getting a burger this last time I was in which is rare for me and a last resort when I can't find anything else on the menu that I would want. I also had their creme brule last time I went in and it wasn't as good as it used to be. May be a one time thing though, or it could have just been old.

Unfortunately I cannot post a good review about the Wapiti. We took our friends from CA there for dinner recently, as they really wanted to try Rocky Mnt Oysters and a buffalo burger. Though our waitress was really attentive and sweet, the RM oysters were raw. We started eating the smaller ones which were done, but discovered several of the larger ones were blood raw in the middle, GROSS, so we sent them back and asked they bring us fresh ones. They did bring us more, but they appeared to be the same ones we sent back, refried again. The 2nd portion was much smaller than the first. Tacky. Then someone ordered buffalo wings and after trying to eat two of those, she realized those were RAW as well. Pink and red and flat out raw in the middle. GROSS again, So we sent those back and declined to replace them. When we received our bill, they deducted the chicken wings, but not the RM oysters, which was really disappointing and handled badly. As not to make a scene we paid our 95.00 bill and yes 15.00 of that was for the waitress's tip and left. We probably should not have tipped her at all, but we felt it was the cook's fault not hers. I emailed the restaurant about this and have yet to hear back from them, this pretty much says it all. TERRIBLE customer service. I would go to Bruce's Bar in Severance for RM oysters, or the Buckhorn Exchange in Denver, or Willie's wings in Morrison as opposed to here. Really an awful experience. We will not be returning here.

The View is alone worth going. The food not so much. I had a 15.00 salad with steak and vegetables. Steak overcooked, cut into bite sized pieces and minimal and no Veggies save some red onion and one pathetic tomato. And the blue cheese dressing had no blue cheese. The food was however fresh which is worth a lot. My advice, go there for a drink and enjoy the view.

Scenery is NICE up here.... nestled on top of a small hill overlooking a golf course & a view of the Rockies. Don't get turned off by the fact that it's a "country club." you can still roll up in jeans, sweats or a hoodie. it IS a bar. the burgers are good. they have plenty of beer on tap that they switch out often. i decided to go "healthy" & tried the grilled shrimp with a side salad the last time we went. very good. definitely recommending this place.

We enjoy our friendship with Brian. He does an excellent job with his waitstaff at the Wapati. The view is excellent , the food is excellent, what more could we ask for. We are very satisfied with the Wapati. Thanks for caring!

This is fairly close to our home, so we go once in a while. Typically when a coupon in the mail reminds us - I think since it is off the beaten path, many tend not to think of it when considering dining options. I was a bit concerned a couple of months ago when we got a coupon as part of a larger mailer that focused on their "shamless" self promotion. It seems they fixed that and changed coupon promo companies to continue their "shameless" self promo campaign. Their ongoing efforts on this front - and few folks there when we visited - seems to suggest that they continue to try hard but are not seeing a lot of results when it comes to bringing in dining patrons. Our coupon this past Friday offered $5 off, and another $5 off if you joined their dining promotions program. The coupon and a table tent boasted they'd given away a lot of value to patrons. That's fine, but who needs another membership card or key-tag, and the approach has a hint of desperation to it. Our waitress was very attentive, and helpful when it came to food and beer selections, and getting signed up for their dining program. She mentioned - and they had a number of posters and other material around - that they had recently done a beer pairing dinner with Loveland Aleworks, so had more options of their beers available than they might normally. I chose the "whole" trout, which was quite good, though it was just a trout filet. I had the side salad, fresh and tasty - the honey balsamic dressing was good but pretty thick and hard to distribute on the salad. I chose the baked potato side, figured it would help bulk up a lighter meal of fish and salad. It was big and fluffy, with generous dollops of butter and sour cream. My wife chose the half rack of ribs. It came with cole slaw and pretty good onion rings. It was a big portion, but parts of it were fatty, and parts were a bit dry. She took a good bit of it home, and I at them the next day. Not bad, nothing to write home about - there seemed to be a bit too much smoke flavoring for my tastes. The sauce was tangy and tasty. I think one of their struggles, beyond being a little out of the way and not top-of-mind, is an identity crisis. They need to be a 19th hole for the golf course, which leads them to be a bit of a sports bar, and they also want to bring in local patrons for fine dining during times when there are not a lot of golfers. That can be challenging. I also expect, given the wide variety on the menu, and the fact that there were just a few patrons, and we ended our meal as the only ones in the place, that they may have trouble keeping the kitchen fully stocked during slow times of the year with fresh ingredients - and that they may need to resort to non-fresh options to keep everything on hand year-round. I don't know, and just suspect that. As others have commented here, the scenery is nice, and when the weather is good, there are options for patio dining. Not a bad change of pace for those looking for a new option.

The green chili here is fabulous! Order a bowl and you will not be sorry, ask them to heat it up with their secret ingredients and you will be very happy. I will return...Saturday next? Probably!
