We never got offered or brought bread and didn't realize it was standard (our first time) until we saw it on everyone else's table on our way out! Took me forever to get my first and second glass of wine...the waitress kept saying "I'll be right back with your wine" but took her 15 minutes to actually bring it. Steak was just average, pretty flavorless, and thin- I had the 6oz bacon wrapped filet. The bacon that they used was limp and fatty. The sides were bland, no butter or seasoning on the steamed veggies. The wedge salad only comes with chopped tomatoes and very little dressing. The kids meals are pretty pricey. My son ordered Mac n cheese. It was a quarter box of Kraft with a side of applesauce for $5. Most likely Wouldn't eat here again.

Very good food. Started with potato skins. They were loaded with bacon, cheese etc and not burnt like many restaurants do. The Five-Star Filet Mignon was excellent, better than I've had at steakhouses costing twice as much. Waiter was attentive and manager Harry stopped by to check on us. One small thing - I noticed towards end of meal some tables had bread. We were never offered any and I've seen in other reviews that is common. Not sure if they're trying to save a buck or just an oversight. Overall a very good experience.

An odd, dreary sort of place. I got takeout and it was just very awkward waiting for my food for some reason. It's just got this very depressed aura... So strange. The food wasn't anything to sneeze at.

The steak was excellent and the coconut shrimp was very good. My girlfriend doesn't like steak usually but she loved hers. This is also my brothers favorite restaurant and the first place we ate on our Colorado vacation. I don't understand any of the bad reviews based on our experience.

Would not give a star if I could. Went there for Saturday lunch. Should have known it would be a bad experience as there were only two or three tables occupied. The first issue was it was so cold we could not be comfortable. Asked if they could turn up the thermostat and eventually we did hear the air until shut of for a short time. There were four of us and none had a decent entre. They were all over cooked. Our party had chicken breast, fish and chips, Delmonico steak and a steak saled. The menu showed the Delmonico steak as being probably a half inch thick. It came out looking like a piece of shoe leather. The steak for the salad was the same. Never again.

Worst service that I have ever had eatting out. Waitress was horribly rude. Walked away in the middle of us ordering. Then came back and pretty much threw the bread and butter onto the table. She never filled our drinks, seemed inconvenienced every time she walked by her 4 tables. She had just brought out our plates out, made a loop around the dining room then asked if i needed a box, hello I'd only taken 2 bites. I will never go back here.

Chain restaurants often symbolize consistent quality. Sadly, this is not the case with this establishment. The greeter was unpleasant, the server was unqualified and the management was uninterested in improving. I will not be back to this overpriced, low - quality excuse for a restaurant. Do yourself a favor and avoid it as well.

We went here recently and we were not impressed our waitress was nice and did her best. My steak was tender but could have used more Seasoning it was cooked like I wanted it but just not impressed over all.

This place totally blows. I tried it once before and vowed to never return but I did... Right off the bat, if you can't cook a steak medium rare than you're not a steakhouse. We ordered two medium rare ($21!!) ribeyes and they came out medium well. These pathetic steaks that have zero marbling/aging/seasoning and are considerably less than an inch thick but carry the price tag of a nice prime cut that has been aged. They're exactly what you would expect if you bought a thin ribeye in the Styrofoam package at a grocery store and slapped it straight on the grill with no salt or anything. So this place transforms a $6 ribeye into a $21 ribeye by simply over-cooking it and putting it next to a potato. Anyway, the service was decent but somehow awkwardly forced (weird personality of the waiter) and the sides were good but the bread was far from fresh. Next time I'm dragged to this steak-slaughter-house I'll stick to the salad.

We were waiting 45 min for a porterhouse and it was a t bone. Never offered bread and the manager could have cared less when we told her. She offered us free desert which we declined. Will never eat here again.worst steak house ever

One of the best steaks I've had in a really long time!!! That Cajun Rib Eye, cooked medium, is amazing. I was afraid the Cajun spices would overwhelm the meat, but it sure didn't. Cooked perfectly pink and juicy. I had the creamed spinach and baked potato for my side. The creamed spinach wasn't all that great, but the potato was yummy. Fantastic service at the bar. A colleague and I had a great time and the bartender gal even gave us a beer taste test. She also had us cut into the meat before leaving us with our food, to make sure it was cooked to our satisfaction - excellent! FYI, if you're staying at either the Fairfield Marriott or Residence Inn, flash them your hotel room key. You'll get a free drink! Cheers.

Horrible on epic levels of horribleness. Bathrooms reek of urine and are disgusting. The restaurant itself is dingy and not well kept. We ate at the bar on a Wednesday night and the place was empty. The bar itself had dishes on it from patrons that had already left. The bartender took her sweet time to ask us for our drink order and give us menus. The steak was cold. The wedge tasted like the lettuce was rinsed in mop water. Disgusting. The rice was pretty good. The drink pours were minuscule. Like dining in Salt Lake City. Avoid like the plague. Serious.

This is an update to my first review of this establishment. Let me start off by saying the first time my wife and I tried this place that is in walking distance from our house, we were less than impressed with every aspect of the experience. This time I have to say, what a difference! After our first visit I left an honest review and within a few days the general manager and a corporate manager got a hold of me on yelp. They wanted to know how they could have made things better and offered the two of us a free meal to try and resolve the issue. I have to say my wife and I were very skeptical at first in going back but decided that because both the gm and corporate manager seemed that they wanted to make things right that we would give them another chance. We went in this evening and right away we noticed that the staff this time seemed to actually care that they were at work (in the service industry) and we were greeted and offered a table immediately. Our first course was on the mark ( soup and salad). And the margarita my wife had was great. The one complaint that we both still have is that the steak itself is not the greatest, for the price it just did not hit the spot. I want this review to be positive because this time around the staff was amazing, Harry the manager and his staff really seemed like they wanted the guests to have a great experience and truly made our dinner a world of difference from when we went in our first visit a few months ago. Keep it up guys, you are definitely on the right track to making your establishment one we would be happy to return to. Thank you Jeremy, Harry, corporate and wait staff for making our second visit much more memorable. We will be back

I have eaten at this location for several years off and on but it has gone way downhill. Walked in shortly after 5 last night and there were 3 other tables upon our arrival. After being seated No one came and took our drink order for a good 10-15 minutes. Ordered food at about 5:30...we waited, and waited and waited..Our food was served at 6:17...and my steak was raw (ordered medium well).Took them another 15 minutes. For their prices you would expect a chef would know how to cook a steak. I could possibly see waiting that long if they were busy, but almost an hour is crazy. Horrible service and steak was below average. Will not be returning

I was at the Lone Star Steakhouse, with my husband, the night of the Christmas parade in Denver. I'm not sure when that was, but I remember it because the place was pretty busy and instead of waiting we just took a seat at the bar. The parade was showing on the TV right next to us on the left. On the other side of us was a young couple on their first date. I didn't know it was their first date, but it was pretty obvious. The girl behind the bar was blonde, I didn't catch her name. She was obviously very busy, but was also very friendly. She came over and asked how we were and got us drinks. We ordered our food the next time she came by. I ordered the Sweet Bourbon Salmon and my husband ordered the Cajun Ribeye. Both were delivered very quickly, considering how busy they were, and tasted delicious. The ribeye was cooked to perfection and the Salmon was perfect. After eating, we stuck around for a few and caught Santa passing by at the end of the parade and the start of the live airing of the Sound of Music. We left shortly after the Sound of Music started. We highly recommend checking out the Lone Star Steakhouse. Excellent food, excellent service, even when they're busy.

Save your $$!!! The cost of the food to what you get is outrageous! The atmosphere is that of a boring chain restaurant like Shari's. Save your $$ and go to Roadhouse or Outback!!

I have been to Lone Star three times. The service has been excellent each time, but the steak was FAR below par. Of all places, a Steak House should know how to cook steaks. I ordered my steak medium all three times (2 NY strips and a filet) and all three times they were well done. The appearance was obvious. I sent them back the first two times, and the Manager took off 1/2 of the cost. The last time, I did not send it back and ate about 1/4 of it, but the wonderful server did reduce the cost. Each time there has been talk of new cooks but something is obviously wrong that they can't find someone who can cook a steak. The side items are OK. I have not had the desserts.

I have given Lone Star many tries. My husband and I like their food, but 9 times out of 10 their service is horrible. I've sat waiting for my food while waitresses talked about their personal lives. My food was ready, they just were too busy talking to bring it over. Just this week my husband called in an order at 4:20pm and they said it would be done in 15 minutes. I showed up at 5pm and it still wasn't ready. They didn't have my order to me until 5:20. When I walked into the restaurant it was a good 5 minutes before anyone looked up and asked if they could help me. The restaurant really wasn't that busy. Overall I think it can easily take 45 minutes for my food to come out of the kitchen. That doesn't include the time it actually takes to get service. Even though there is one bartender that's really nice and always helpful this place only gets 1 star. Horrible service.

This place is hidden behind the McD, Taco Bell, and the Loveland Information Center. The service was okay, could of paid some more attention to us. The bread at the table, is just plain old wheat bread. I tried the bacon wrapped sirloin, which seemed more over hyped then it needed to be. The steak was okay, seasoned and cooked as needed. The steamed spinach, as my side, was okay it tasted like canned spinach heated up and placed on my dish with no seasoning. Thankfully there was salt & pepper shakers at my table. As a starter I had the filet mignon queso, mostly a disappointment. A little too much salt, and it was more of consistency of white paste then melted cheese.

Decent food. had a shrimp and steak combo. Steak was very good and cooked perfectly. Shrimp was decent but noting special. baked potato was perfectly salted. good green beans. Tried the chicken that was ordered and it was very tasty as well. Service was excellent and our waiter went above and beyond and was very nice! Slightly expensive compared to a normal restaurant but not bad for a steakhouse. A good steak was about $18 My portion was pretty small for the price. It definitely could have been larger. The chicken portions were huge though. They skimp a little bit on the steak sizes it seems. Would go back if I was in the mood for a good steak but not much else would bring me back otherwise.

wow... very surprised by all the bad reviews.. we really enjoyed the food and service here We came in with a large family group, a mix of kids and adults. We were give a nice spot in the back that accomodated all of us. The filet and grilled shrimp was delish and my husband raved about his ribeye. The only negative was the bread, it did not come warm at all. I would come back here again when visiting family and friends.

we have had wonderful meals in the past. I always order the pork chops. on Tuesday 8/14/12 they were horrible. I had my husband and our guest taste them and they agreed it seemed like the entire salt shaker was dumped on my pork chop. When the manager asked how was our evening, I told him, he said he would tell the chef. When our waitress brought the bill, I explained to her that I could not eat my meal the chop was way too salty...(i love salt) she said oh...did you want me to bring something else...are you kidding me? everyone in our party was done with their meal, i said no at no point did she offer to adjust our bill. Clearly they could both see i did not eat it. With customer service like that we will not be returning to a Lone Star ever again.

Had lunch today - just the salad, soup and baked potato combo. This was more than enough food for lunch and was excellent. The service I received was also excellent! They were very attentive and quick to respond to my requests. I always enjoy Lone Star but no longer live near one so being close to this one today was a real treat! I also got a survey which I will do to earn a free appetizer with the hope that I'll be able to use it before it expires in 30 days. I've always highly recommended this restaurant to my family and friends and will continue to do so!

We got seated in the dining room next to other parties .We waited over 15 minutes, no one served us, 2 servers and the host walked by and looked at us multiple times. I had to get up and ask the bartender if we could get some service. She was professional. As I walked back to our table, I see the manager and the other servers hanging out at a table by the kitchen. Our server was nice and apologized, said 'we were switching sections and got confused',and offered us a free appetizer or a dessert. We never saw the manager once, they never talked to us, let alone set foot in the dining room. We got our bill, and neither the appetizer or the dessert was removed from the check. Our server Shekinah did her job well, its not a reflection of her. I can't believe it wouldn't occur to the manager on duty to at least stop by and ask how our meal was or just make an appearance. How can the manager really not know what is happening in their restaurant when there are only maybe 6 parties in the entire restaurant? This was a special occasion, were celebrating my husband's new job. I have never felt so unwanted in a restaurant. I would say poorly handled, but in wasn't even handled at all.

I love their Jalapeño Margaritas and the Porterhouse Steaks.

An above average steak house with excellent wait staff and good food, Lone Star was better than expected. My group of four did not have any major complaints about the food or the service. The waiter was more than happy to split the check four ways. I can confirm that the creamed spinach was not very good. I cannot confirm the previous review about the free drinks. (I should have checked Yelp first)
