I debated with myself long and hard about giving Henry's a five-star review but I just can't bring myself to do it on just one visit. In my opinion, to be a five-star restaurant the joint has to deliver first rate food and service consistently over time. But, if we get the chance to come back a time or two and our experience is as good as it was today, I'll definitely raise my rating. Henry's has a very comfortable atmosphere in it's old, downtown building complete with lots of old woodwork and it high ceilings. The food was very good--I had the Angus burger while Mary had the Salmon burger--both were cooked perfectly. Service was quick and attentive although not a real standout. If we ever have the opportunity to spend some serious time around Loveland, this place could definitely become one of our regular haunts.

Four of us went for lunch and all were very hapy. Excellent selection of food and beer. Service was great. Sandwiches were wonderful and so were the salads. Next time we're in Loveland we'll eat here again.

Their food was very delicious and affordable. We had a very kind waitress. I jokingly asked her to put Boyz ii Men on while I ate. She replied ever so nerviously "I can ask my manager." I told her I was kidding and she was a good sport about the whole thing! Lots of beers on tap!

Not sure who was cooking back there, but that was some of the best food I've ever had in my life!

Several micros on tap - with a variety of different local flavors. The menu has a very good variety and healthy portions.

We love it here. Good food, good people, good environment. One of our favorite dinner spots in Loveland.

My buddy and I dined at Henry's Pub during the week at lunch. The beer selection was a little non traditional, and was populated with micro brews from the local area. Although I can appreciate the opportunity to try new beers, when the names do little to offer explanation of what they are, it would help to have an educated wait staff to belp guide you. My friend and I both had the French Onion Soup, which was accompanied by the traditional thick cheese top. I enjoyed the salmon sandwich, and although it was very good, the size and shape of the salmon made it difficult to maneuver. I really like the ambiance of the restaurant; albeit it could easily cross into being an outdated environment. Overall, Henry's is a good place to check out, and I would totally go back!

We were in Loveland to attend a wedding at a dude ranch (!) and had some time to wander around the town. We came upon the museum (is there more than one?) which was an extraordinary delight. Then, knowing we needed to have something to eat and that we could return to the museum after lunch, I looked up possibilities on Yelp (so love you, Yelp). We decided to try Henry's Pub which had some nice possibilities in the reviews. Well, what a treat! Our server told us that this was her first day on her own, and, yet, she was quite professional. I am gluten-free, which I mentioned and the server immediately trotted off to get the GF menu for me! Well, the burger was wonderful - although I can't quite remember what I had on it. The side salad was yummy, with a smoked tomato vinaigrette, that was so good that I am hoping to replicate it at home (not to worry, Henry, it won't happen). My husband was also happy with his food, but once again, I don't remember exactly what he had. I do have to say that the ice tea was delicious and was probably made in-house. I was sad that we didn't have an excuse to come back again to try out other foods. We are not beer drinkers so we didn't have an opportunity to try the extensive listing.

I have only tried two things here - the schnitzel and the bacon blue cheese burger. Both were delicious! I would definitely recommend this place.

I've tried quite a few items on their menu, most of them have been pretty damn exceptional! Notable goodies: French Onion Soup, Reuben, Spicy Reuben, Any Burger, Mussels in Butta, Sweet Potato Fries! Notable not-so-goodies: Prime Rib, blech... most of their steaks.... Go for the bar foods, skip the steaks, i like it here a lot.

Great pub eats and an expanded menu led to a great evening last night. We ate things from all over the menu. One also had the RazMoto made with Raspberry Liqueur and locally-sourced mint. (Not enough mint for my tastes but good anyway.) I had the Short-rib Beef Stew, substituting sweet potato fries for the mashers so I am not sure what the standard stew would have been like served normal pub style but I thought it was very good. The rest of the part had a variety of dishes including the Bangers and Mash, Steak Fajitas, and Buffalo Meatloaf. All were very good and well-presented.

We took over a year and a half break from Henry's. The waitress that gave me so much attitude is no longer there. We are fans of the burgers, prosciutto & egg sandwich, chicken & brie sandwich & the pork schnitzel.

Since we moved to Loveland over 2 years ago, Henry's is our go-to place. Always excellent food and great service! I've tried almost everything on the menu and have never found something I don't like. Their martini's are great too!

We love this place and eat here about once a month. I was shocked that someone felt the atmosphere was below par---this is pub dining at it's best! Buzzing, fun, electric atmosphere and great food at a reasonable price. One of my favorite restaurants anywhere including Denver. The calamari is delectable. The New York strip is delicious. If they have the Ahi Tuna with 90 Shilling Mac and Cheese on the menu don't miss it. I am always pleased and satisfied when I leave Henry's.

Horrible service. Thought we'd give this place a try. It was mostly empty, but they put us in a corner. After 5 minutes, no one had taken our drink order, but noticed servers lounging around the bar. We got up and left, still ignored. With their attitude I can see why they were slow and all the other places were busy. I'd give zero stars if i could.

WOW. Whoever owns this place knows how to run a restaurant AND hire great staff! I ate here three times in three days, two lunches and a dinner. All were terrific, punctuated with excellent service. The salads are EXCELLENT, as is the gluten free menu (YAY!) My only sadness was that their only cider is Strongbow, which I find a little weak and sweet. But, seriously, that's hardly worth mentioning. On Friday evening I ordered a take-out meal and sat at the bar while it was being prepared. I've seen a LOT of bartenders and wait staffs, this one was like a well oiled machine! The blonde bartender really knew her stuff, was able to juggle MANY things concurrently, and is a prize. GIVE THAT GIRL A RAISE! The waitresses were so professional, but also very friendly. Really stellar. It's obvious the management of this place is very good. Make certain you try the sweet potato fries - they're wonderful! And the Thai Salad! And the Spinach Salad! And the Sourdough Burger (with GF bread) I could go on and on. YUM!

My family loves Henry's, been a favorite place since we moved here last year. Food is consistently great, we mostly order the Guinness short rib stew and the schnitzel. Great martinis too!

Henry's Pub is a terrific Gastropub! -See official definition here;-) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ga… Conveniently located in downtown Loveland, Henry's Pub is the first restaurant in town that helped me adjust to my new home city of Loveland, CO. My husband and I are from Michigan, we've traveled a lot for business, and lived for 4 years in the San Diego area. In other words, we are food snobs. Sorry Loveland, but I was starting to lament my food choices until we found Henry's Pub. I truly hope to find some other hidden gems in Loveland, but I think Henry's Pub will always be my favorite because it's the first place that gave me a new sense of "home." I've already brought out-of-town friends and family here several times (they have all loved it). Henry's Pub is my number #1 "go to" place. Some of my favorites that I will order again and again - the P.E.I. Mussels, Steak Sandwich, Fish & Chips (also, the Sunday special with Walleye), and Henry's Flat Iron Steak.

I have such mixed feeling about Henry's, at one time it was a regular stop for my Husband & I. We loved it! Had many a special meal there with friends, family, and co-workers. If you read social media here & on other rating sites you will clearly see they had a rough patch with mostly staff ( front of house & in the kitchen ) . It seems they are doing well by most diners now which is great for Downtown. I have a "3 times your out" policy, IMO unless your a complete jerk or there's food quality issues I give a place 3 strikes before I move on. So..after a break my husband and I went back last week. It was a late lunch and a sunny afternoon. It wasn't very busy and we were seated quickly, the waitress was okay- the food was MEH, not terrible just not great. Can I ask why no one grills Reubens ? You know, butter the rye on the outside and grill both sides? Why is it like dry toast? The salad greens appeared to be wilted & full of stems. Fries big and kind of grainy dry in the middle. But nothing was overly bad or overly good. The beer's cold, refills quick, tables are clean. I will go back, but I am still in search of another Go -To place Downtown that is as good as what Henry's was a few years ago.

My boyfriend and I were visiting Loveland and saw this on yelp. We were not disappointed! The salads were nice and fresh and the dressings were delicious... They have a nice large menu and great staff. The only complaint inhave is that we sat by the door and the cold air kept coming in... Try the steak with Gorgonzola cheese and onions... Yummy!

I really do like Henry's Pub. The food is great, the decor is comfortable and you can sit at the bar, table or booth. It's has that english/irish feel with guinness on tap. Awesome menu and great service. A must try when on 4th st. in Loveland and conveniently placed next to a few other good places to wind down at after the work week. Highly recommended.

I absolutely love henry's! Their food is fantastic and their servers have great personality and actually talk to you instead of your generic waitresses or waiters. I have gotten their Mahogany steak medallions as well as their French dip and both were fantastic and a little bit unlike anywhere else. that goes for the rest of their food too.... Its all unique in its own way. They have things you have had before other places (most of the time) but its a little different or has their own spin to it.

I was in Loveland for business and ate here twice. I was psyched that they have an extensive gluten free menu including gluten free pasta! I tried the Gorgonzola Carbonara and Henry's Curry. Both were great! I would definitely eat here again!

Downtown Loveland is booming with new stores, breweries and restaurants, but for us it has become our new destination for drinking. Henry's pub advertises, on their website, that they have the largest selection of alcohol in the area and that's all we needed to see to give them a chance. Atmosphere: Located in historical down-town Loveland, Henry's pub is a small but inviting brick building. Inside, the dark, cherry-stained wood walls and warm colors gives it a very comfortable, yet masculine appearance. There is a variety of dark wooden tables throughout as well as booths along the outer walls. Service: Upon walking in we were greeted by two hostesses who quickly sat us at a table. Our server was prompt and polite with a good knowledge of the beers on tap. We eventually made our way to the bar, where service was friendly and prompt as well. Drinks: Henry's touts having one of the best selections of top shelf liquors around- and they are correct. While they may have not had all of our favorites, we certainly couldn't deny that they have a great selection. Now if 18 year old scotch isn't your thing, then maybe one of the several local craft beers (that they keep on a constant rotation) will wet your whistle. Food: The menu consisted of good old American food with many seafood selections. We ordered the Sourdough Burger ($11.99) and the French Dip ($8.99) and both were fresh and tasty. The rest of the menu is what you would expect - Appetizers, Salads, Desserts, Burgers, Soups, Sandwiches and entrees like Steak & Shrimp and Buffalo Meatloaf.

Came here with a fairly large group of family and friends. Our waitress was fantastic. I have never been to a restaurant where every single person at the table was overwhelmed with joy on the exceptional quality and flavor of their feast! For a pub, this is a gem.

We hadn't been to Henry's in a while and decided to eat there tonight for dinner. It used to be one of our favorite local restaurants , but the last time we ate there several months ago it was just OK--not the usual really good food. We're really glad we gave it another chance. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly with prompt service. We had the fried shrimp and steak, pablono pepper sandwich....yummy. I highly recommend Henry's. it's our new/old favorite Loveland restaurant. Enjoy!

Bangers and mash...being a novice of English food, I had to read the menu description to understand that this dish was sausage and mashed potatoes. Little did I know that it would change my perception of English food forever... My parents, wife, and I ate at this self~described gastro pub in the heart of downtown Loveland for a light Thanksgiving eve dinner. While I have not been living in Loveland long enough to appraise the label of 'best place to eat in Loveland', we were not disappointed. My bangers ended up being two very distinct types of sausage. One was a very salty but flavorful and blackened boar meat sausage. The other was a gamey and semi sweet venison sausage with a bright fleshy red color. The mashed potatoes had a fried crust around them, which was a pleasant twist. The brown gravy provided a good base for everything too. The portion size was just enough to take me through to thanksgiving dinner the following day. Let's not forget about the most important part, the lager. I tried the New Belgium rotator, which was a dark chocolatey ale with a creamy finish. I can't remember the name, but it definitely paired well with the bangers and mash.

We had a great lunch while exploring Loveland. The restaurant has a great downtown location. The separate gluten free menu is great. We loved the sweet potato fries, Cajun corned beef, and turkey melt. The only dud was the French onion soup which was too salty. The restaurant is also kid-friendly.

I am new to the review realm, but after experiencing the other options in Loveland I felt compelled to share my great experience with this place. Servers were friendly, food was delicious, my family was taken care of in a timely manner, and loved the environment. Best in Loveland.

I went to Henry's for a date night with my wife. It had a nice, calm atmosphere and good food. The ruben sandwich my wife ordered was great, but the cajun pastrami sandwich was fair. The definition of "cajun" is hit or miss in Colorado and they choose to go with salty blackened flavor in the meat. The beer selection was great and the waitress even let me sample a bit to help make my drink decision. So service was excellent. I would definitely go back here again.

We had dinner here at about 7:30 p.m. on a Friday evening. I was surprised that the restaurant was only half full, but it was the day after Thanksgiving. I would be curious to see how busy they are on a non-holiday weekend. The decor brings to mind a sort of high class pub - it isn't cozy nor is it a dive, but it is comfortable and pleasing to the eye. It seemed strange that they only have one bathroom for each sex - on a busy night the line to the ladies' room must wrap around the building! The service was average - our waitress was friendly but not very attentive. I chose the blackened salmon linguini and my husband had broiled salmon with garlic mashed potatoes. Both dishes were tasty and fresh. The best part of the meal, however, was the lemon drop martini. This was by and large the best martini I've ever had (yes, even better than Jay's in Fort Collins!) I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

Stopped here based on Yelp recommendations. We were not disappointed. Good upscale gastro-pub grub, local brews and an imaginative drink menu. Fried pickle appetizer very very good. Service was a bit slow, but then it was a busy Friday night.

Cant believe I havent reviewed Henry's yet!! This place is in my opinion the best restaurant in all of northern CO. I know that is a huge statement to make in an area of the country that has more restaurants then people but I stand by it. And its in Loveland!! The atmosphere is great, very classy without being stuffy and over the top. The wait staff has never been anything short of fantastic. The food... The food is amazing, everything is cooked perfectly, never had a bad dish. They even have Grimm Brothers beer on tap. Love it! Try anything with blue cheese on it, salad, burger, steak, its the best. When I first moved to Loveland I lost a lot of hope that I would find a great place to eat and hang out. Then I found Henry's, its like my second home.

Came here Friday night with some girlfriends, there was about a 10 minute wait. We were seated very shortly and ordered the fried pickles (yum) and I ordered the Spinach grilled cheese (double yum). Not great atmosphere or outstanding service, but good food. I'll be back.

Last night I had the best cornbeef and cabbage I've ever had...just don't tell me mother ;) I also thought the reuben egg rolls were perfect and had my tongue doing the Irish jig after each bite. Oh and for dessert was an evenly created Black and Tan.

This is my favorite Loveland restaurant, I eat at Henry's at least twice a week. Their menu is so extensive that you can find something for any hankering. I usually go with the weekly specials & am never disappointed. Also the best mixed drinks & local beer selection around.

Business lunch here today. The food was very good but service was terrible. People who came in 20 minutes after us were served before us and we had to request drink refills and even the ticket. Server never came back to collect payment after 20 minutes so we paid cash and left. Total lunch = 95 minutes. If you are in a schedule pass it up.

Four coworkers and I came in here for lunch. Service was pretty slow, but the restaurant was packed. We all got different sandwiches (I got the sliders and a salad) and we all thought the food was just ok, pretty average, but nothing to rush back for. I wouldn't be opposed to going and trying something different for dinner because there were a ton of options on the menu, maybe sandwiches aren't the way to go here?

I eat here a lot, partly because of limited options in downtown Loveland, but mostly because the food is consistently good and there's plenty of variety. The buffalo chicken salad, hot ham and swiss, and the burgers are all great. Service is fast, beer selection is good - I'm a regular and happy about it. And they have fried pickles. Hint: if you order the sweet potato fries, ask for a side of basil mayo.

Went for lunch. Very good service, nice atmosphere. Food was good, particularly the smoked salmon salad. We also ordered a Monte Christo. It was a good grilled ham and cheese but it lacked the whole breading and fried part that make a Monte Christo a Monte Christo

Cool old-school feel here with the location and decor. Reminds me of other aged small cities I've visited over the years. Modest beer selection, though could be better. Food quality was above average but nothing to write home about. Service was below average in terms of promptness and knowledge of products. Prices fair.

ahhh HENRYS why you gotta do me soo good. i dont live in loveland but everytime im in town i make sure to visit henrys. i love the local beers on tap. all my favorite. odell and new belgium. stella artois too!! i had the mushroom ravioli that were to die for. the cream sauce was thick and heavy and cheesy just how i like it. the spinach salad with candid walnuts is realllly good too. the booths are big and comfortable and its great to sit here for hours and enjoy your food and drinks!

Great food and nice menu. Service was slow for not even being the lunch hour - there seemed to be plenty of staff so it was a bit disappointing in that respect. Had the salmon sandwich; tasted great and loved the ranch.

Houghton and her honey's favorite food place in Loveland, and I can see why... the food is solid and delicious, not overly creative, but Loveland ain't NYC, so I didn't expect it. Everything came out super tasty, however, so no complaints from me. I love oldie, but goodies. The Warm Ham and Swiss with bacon left me wanting more! And the Guiness Stew is almost as good as any I had in Ireland. The Crispy Beef Asian Salad (the day's special) was holy-moly-out-of-this-world-good. The service is slow, however, but we weren't in a hurry so it didn't detract from our enjoyment of the food. For good food and no fuss, I'd highly recommend it.

I continue to be amazed by Henry's Pub and their menu. I have repeatedly been impressed and the food makes my taste buds dance. This quaint pub provides an environment that is perfect for a casual night out. It does get a bit noisy at times. The Walnut-Gorgonzola Salad with steak is my favorite. I like my steak cooked medium-rare, and I have always received the steak cooked just like how I like it. I recommend this place to anyone.

My husband thinks I like to go here because my chocolate lab is named Henry.... Last night we ordered all appetizers for dinner. Duck and Strawberry Salad w/ Goat Cheese, Welsh Rarebit, and the Baked Brie. So who's fault is it when I don't have the sense to order the dishes be brought in a staggered fashion, but the server doesn't have the foresight to suggest it either. I guess we both weren't thinkin'! Because that would have made our meal so much better. The Duck Salad was almost perfect. Tender, perfectly cooked duck, yummy rounds of goat cheese rolled in nuts and honey. The strawberries were bright and fresh looking. The dressing could have been turned up just a notch--the flavor sort of faded away. My husband said the Rarebit wasn't what he was used to (his mom's a Brit), but we finished it anyway. And The Brie was accompanied with flavorful dish of cooked apples, onions and red peppers. Again, this dish didn't fail to please us. Our server was great (other than the omission listed above) not too pushy, checked on us at appropriate intervals, and happily brought me more baguette for the brie. It was a Tuesday, we were seated right away, and it wasn't too crowded. The noise level was just right for me. Sometimes it can be hard to have a conversation (weekends), it can be so loud and echo-y in there. It's a nice neighborhood place with a tasty and pleasing menu

The food is consistently good, as is the service, with exception of the bar. Don't eat in the bar area if you want the good service, one woman who bartends isn't familiar with the menu, or even that they offer a gluten free menu for people who need it. Maybe this explains her "I'm doing you a favor by serving you" attitude. Her drinks were not very good either, so stick to the beer!

ok food. service on second visit was horrible---waited 30 minutes for food (and we have a 10 month old baby with us)- waitress apologized by giving some long-winded explanation that the "kitchen was slammed....and they would rip her a new one if she got on them about taking so long..." I pretty much stopped listening, the excuse was so long. Funny thing is, my husband's meal (bangers and mash) wasn't even hot---which makes us think it was maybe waitress' fault and not the kitchen. have had a better experience there once before---not sure I would give it another shot- I think it is a bit overpriced for what it is. The atmosphere is weird too...

This places surprised me. "accidently" ordered their seared tuna sandwich. Accidently because I forgot i usually don't order "foods out of place", for example 'seared tuna' and 'pub' don't go together. but i had a lapse and glad i did. it was gooood. they actually had a few things i didn't expect to see at a pub. like thai wraps and other stuff. i loved my sandwich. I hunk of tuna seared and tender on a bun. Service was great, and a local favorite. Came with a customer of mine who knew most people that came it. Family friendly makes food taste better.

Henry's serves up some good food at fairly reasonable prices, and our server was knowledgable and helpful. Our son loved his spaghetti (indeed, he wanted me to give the place *more* than 5 stars, just based on his meal). My husband pronounced the Wild Game Bangers and Mash "very, very good," and we enjoyed some tasty local beers. I can't give the place 5 stars, though, because the fish and chips that I had were good, but certainly not great. For starters, I find it odd that each of the three pieces of fish seemed to be the exact same length, width, and size. Is it pressed fish or something? The batter was okay, as were the fries. I've had better, though, and I was expecting a great pub meal like I've had in Britain or elsewhere in the U.S., and it just didn't live up to my expectations. Nevertheless, the food was hot and fresh; and overall, it was good.

Out of all of the downtown Loveland restaurants, Henry's Pub is by far my favorite. They have an awesome food and drink menu with a lot of variety. Considering I go to Henry's Pub often, all of the staff greet me by first name when I enter which would make anyone feel really welcome. I also have a loyalty card which enables me to receive discounts every once in a while. My personal favorite menu item is the Mahogany Steak Medallions, they are to die for! They also have a great website which displays their weekly lunch specials, menu and drink items, and their catering services. They also have a gluten free menu which is helpful for my friends that I bring in. The atmosphere on a Friday and Saturday night is always fun! You will not be disappointed with Henry's Pub!

Maybe it was a bad time to go but we went for dinner at about 6 on a Friday evening. The wait for a table wasn't too long since there were only 2 of us but we did wait quite a while for our food. My husband got the fish with mango sauce special. Besides the fish being postage stamp size, he said there was nothing special about the sauce and couldn't even taste the mango. I had the skirt steak with chimichurri sauce. My dinner's portion size was good, the chimchurri sauce had seen better times. It looked like something green had dried up. Nothing to make us want to go back

The food is always consistently good. When you order a medium-rare burger, (which just so happens to be the best in Loveland) that's what you get ... a medium-rare burger ... every time! And, you can't beat the small town ambiance either. Once you've eaten there a time or two, the servers and bartenders make it a point to know you by name. Try finding that anywhere else!

After moving here to Loveland from Denver I set out in search of tasty vittles. I've been disappointed by some of the establishments in Loveland but Henry's is one of my favorites. Yes, it's a bit on the noisy side (especially during the lunch and dinner rushes) but the food is consistently good and I like the variety of choices (very good for a bar). The salads are very nice and I've never had anything that I didn't really want to eat. Hrmm. Well I guess I had some soup that was just OK but it wasn't offensive or really problematic, just a tiny bit bland. My sister liked it, however. My biggest complaint is the sort of odd service when things are busy. We sat down (a group of 5) and ordered our food. We watched several other people (who arrived considerably later than we did) receive their food, while we waited for ours. Yes, we're a larger group and that probably accounts for some of it, but I think that's a bad practice. We complained a bit, and the hostess was very friendly with us and kept bringing things over to help entertain my 2.5 year old. Making a group with a toddler wait is not a good idea! However, I always go back there and I always recommend it. There is usually not much of a wait, even when it's busy, to get a table, but there can be a wait for food, but I've seen MUCH MUCH worse in Denver and Boulder. I try to avoid getting on those 30-45 minute waiting lists. Oye!

Busy restaurant with limited seating at the bar. Courteous hostess, bartender, and servers. Decent food. Had the shrimp scampi and dinner salad.

We ate here last night before going to the Rialto next door. We both ordered the Chimichurri skirt steak as the waitress also recommended it. I can't recall the last time I ate a more flavorful steak. The sauce was an olive oil, cilantro, basil, red pepper and was delicious. The side of garlic mashed potatoes was the perfect compliment. We've gone there several times for lunch and usually order the Ruben as we have always enjoyed it. I would recommend it!

Our group ended up here as a compromise choice and that's what we got, a decent compromise. Like most pub/bar/grill places of this variety the food is good not great. Mussels were tasty and fresh but the cook literally poured the jar of garlic cloves into the broth so that the ratio of garlic to mussels was about one to one. Ravioli dish was barely hot enough and mushy, covered with too much sauce. Steaks were the highlight. Cesar salad was decent but the shrimp adder was three shrimpy shrimp. Service was serviceable but the host / reservation system is dumb and went like this: Hi we have a group of eight, can we make a reservation? Nope we don't take reservations but if you call back 30 minutes prior to you coming we save you a table. 30 minutes prior to eating we call back. Hi we want to come in about 30 minutes with our group of eight. OK but we don't take reservations and we can't guarantee you a table. Yeah but you told us to call back to reserve a table. Well, we have a table of eight that is just finishing their desert. Can you hold that table for us? I can try but can't guarantee it. etc..... Dumb.

These reviews say it all. If you want good service from Henry's don't go on on Fri or Sat. evenings because the place gets packed. This place can get packed and extremely noisy, they definitely need sound boards on the ceiling. If you go during the week you will get more personal attention. It does have something for everyone and though the menu isn't exotic they do serve more than meat and potatoes Mark M. is correct about the mussel garlic ratio but that's why I love them!

We had dinner and drinks. The service was excellent. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. We had the chicken fettuccine, steak medallions and the steak and shrimp with the brownie sundae (which was more than plenty for two people). All were excellent. The atmosphere was relaxed and the noise level was low enough to be able to converse with each other.

This place is excellent. The wait staff are friendly and the food is delicious. The mussels were fantastic and so were the fish and chips.

My daughter and I's favorite location for downtown lunch. We have also had some excellent family dinners at Henry's. Very good salads and sandwiches. We love the old style atmosphere and comfy booths. Good cocktails and beers. The husband had a great buffalo ribeye with garlic mashers that were over the top delish. Can get a bit noisy during the lunch rush.

Ah, Henry's. I still think your dishes can be sketch sometimes, but I'm upgrading you a star because of all the enjoyable times I've had lately at happy hour. Me & my peeps always get superb attention (except for that one bartender that is immune to flirtation, but we ladies won't take it personally) when we come in for our 4 p.m. therapy sessions, beer & cheese fries, brie & wine, you treat us right.

Always good; never bad food or bad service. Excellent salads. Sometimes can be quite crowded and doesn't have a waiting area, so be prepared to wait outside if you're going on a Friday or Saturday.

One of my fav's in downtown Loveland. I normally get the garden salad with chicken. They have tons of veggies on this salad and the chicken is straight from the grill. They have the best tasting ranch in the world too. The hot wings are pretty good! You will not be disappointed with the taste of the food here.

I personally think they have the best burger in town. They have fab fish & chips as well. Beyond that, it's just *okay*. The service at early lunchtime is usually pretty good but once it starts filling up, service is slow. DO NOT go in during your lunch hour...you will not get back to the office on time! You do not go into Henry's for a "quick bite". I love the look of the interior but it gets awfully loud. Not a good place for an intimate date but a great place for a burger. Now if they only had better beer prices, I might have a beer with that burger....

The good and service here are amazing. I have been here about a half dozen times and every time I'm happy. The dinner menu is superior to the lunch menu. I highly recommend the schnitzel or bison meatloaf. They also have an extraordinary selection of cocktails and martinis.

I really wish Yelp would allow a half star because this was 4 1/2 stars in my book. My friend and I got here around 5:30 on a Thursday and were sat right away. Our waitress took our drink orders quickly. I had the strawberry mojito and it was delicious and a perfect combination of the ingredients (did not skimp on the alcohol). We ordered the Poutine as an appetizer and I was slightly disappointed. The "pub chips" were think potato wedges which were perfectly cooked. The cheese curds were large and not melted. Not sure if this dish goes under a salamander before served or not. The gravy was the most disappointing part to me. It was very salty and goopy. Not exactly the adjectives you want to describe your gravy. My entree more than made up for the disappointing appetizer though! I got the Flat Iron Steak entree and it was delicious! I ordered it cooked medium and it came out cooked medium-well but that didn't detract from the flavor. I had the mashed potatoes and grilled zucchini as my side dishes. Both were wonderfully seasoned and cooked well. The highlight of the dish was ultimately the crimini mushroom sauce served with the steak. OMG!! I would probably eat just about anything drenched in that sauce. My friend got the steak sandwich and she seemed to like it. It's literally just a slice of bread with a piece of steak on top. However, if you're in the mood for steak and don't want to pay the entree prices, this is the way to go. Maybe ask for a side the crimini mushroom sauce? That'll save you almost 8 bucks! We finished our meal splitting the brownie sundae and the bread pudding. The bread pudding was disappointing but the rum glaze served over it was quite good. The brownie sundae was delicious! The brownie wasn't too cakey or gooey, it was the perfect blend of both. It's served in two triangle pieces atop a scoop of vanilla ice cream so it's the perfect dessert to share. I will definitely be back again and again!

We came in here by default as Mo' Gumbo was closed due to the snowy weather and it was a great surprise. A classic old style bar and restaurant with lots of dark wood and lowered lighting - just what one needs when it is not so friendly weather outside. I had the pork schnitzel with garlic mashed potatoes and bacon braised kale, and a local beer on draft. If I lived in the area I would come here on a regular basis, lovely little establishment. They also have a nice selection of cocktails and martinis. :-)

How have I not reviewed Henry's yet? I'm definitely late to the Henry's train, as I've only been coming for the last year or so, but I have seen the error of my ways. This is absolutely the best place to get a drink or a bite in Downtown Loveland. Great selection of local beer, tasty drink specials, and absolutely wonderful pub food. The place is classy enough for a date, casual enough for a get-together, and cranks out food quick enough for a quick business lunch. I've never had anything that wasn't excellent from the menu, with my favorite thing probably being the Fish & Chips or the Bangers & Mash. I've had excellent burgers, sandwiches, salads... really, there's something for everyone including an extensive gluten free menu. I'm sorry, Henry's, for not having been a customer longer. See you soon.

My wife and I chose this spot to celebrate our wedding anniversary because of the stellar reviews. For a Wednesday night, the place was pretty busy. We were seated within minutes and given a half booth at the only table they had open. Our server was a bit slow in making her way to our table and wasn't the most knowledgeable on the drink selections, but she was very willing to go check on anything we wanted. The atmosphere is very laid back and when the place is that busy, it's noisier than a person would imagine. After our drinks were ordered, we decided on the Calamari for an app. The app was pretty slow in making its way to our table and within minutes of getting the app, out came our main course. I realize it's hard to time things coming out of a busy kitchen, but I would have liked at least a few more min to enjoy what was just set down in front of us. The Calamari was really good and the accompanying aioli went very well with it. For my main course, I went with the "Signature" NY steak. The cook on my steak was spot on and it was pretty tender but there was more sinew and fat on the meat than what should have been for a "quality" cut. The Gorgonzola and caramelized onion topping was good, but the onions needed a bit longer on the grill to get the Caramelization look and flavor. The sides; I am a bit of a potato nut and find myself wanting both fries and mashed with my steaks, so I decided on the potato wedges along with the mash (Big eye roll from the wife here "That's TWO starches"). The mash on my plate was presented in the shape of a big scoop and were incredibly dry. With potatoes that dry, they should have tried to hide it with a bit of gravy as it would have gone a long long way and couldn't they have done something about the sphere of mashed just lumped on the plate? The potato wedges were cooked very well, but there was zero seasoning on them and just as bland as could be. Just a bit of salt when they were fresh out of the frier does wonders for any type of fried potatoes. As for my wife, she ordered the Schnitzel. As soon as they set her plate down, I instantly regretted my choice. The Schnitzel was HUGE and smothered in a glorious blanket of Mushroom gravy. She had potatoes too! And guess what? GRAVY! GLORIOUS GRAVY! Although her potatoes came out of the same steam tray that mine did, hers were bathing in a smooth pool of creamy brown, mushroom gravy. My mouth watered in anticipation. My wife, sensing my gravy lust, quickly cut a chunk of the Schnitzel and spooned some of the gravy on to my plate to bring my mash up a couple of notches. Delicious! The both of us agreed that it was the best Schnitzel that we've ever had. We will for sure be back here to try some of the other items but will probably steer away from the pricier cuts of meat that's offered.

Traveling in Colorado for the week, I was looking for something simple and easy. Henry's pub came up under organic restaurant and did not disappoint although from the menu items I am not sure everything was organic. I had the lunch special, grilled tilapia with Asian slaw and siracha mayo with a house salad on the side. The house cilantro, lime vinegarette may have been one of the best I have ever had, great light balance between tart and sweet. The tilapia was grilled perfectly, the slaw and mayo not overpowering and I loved the use of an onion roll. The server was sweet and attentive and the pub had a nice open feel with high ceilings and art on the walls. Great place, would definitely go back.

We ended up in Loveland after being up in Ft. Collins where ALL the restaurants were on an hour/2 hour wait due to it being CSU graduation weekend. A quick yelp search brought up Henry's and their glowing reviews, so my mom and I gave it a try. Our visit resulted in nothing less. The building is interesting and I loved the tin-tiled ceilings. Their tap list was great and exactly what you'd expect in the area. A few beers from Grimm Bros., High Hops, City Star and Verboten--all nearby and all really great breweries. I opted for an IPA from the newest brewery in Loveland, Crow Hop. It was great and our waiter let me know that if I wanted to try more from them, they were located just behind the restaurant on the next block! Both my mom and I ordered off the recommendations from our server and he was spot on. My mom had the steak medallions that she LOVED and I had the Cajun Salmon pasta. The serving size of the pasta dish was huge and I could only finish about half. So much salmon and a large pile of pasta. It was spicy and yummy! We'll definitely keep Henry's in mind whenever we're in the area, and probably even when we aren't!

This place had the warm, happy vibe you are always looking for in a restaurant. Crowded with patrons, buzzing about their lives, in a the rich mahogany-colored dining room. If you are in loveland, I would recommend coming here for some dinner. Food was good, atmosphere was lively (for dinner), and just so comfortable. Will be back for sure!

My husband and I drove down from Cheyenne to try Henry's Pub on 1/10/15. The food was delicious and the service was excellent! Located in the cute downtown area of Loveland. Parking is not an issue..there's plenty of spaces. The restaurant was full when we walked in, however we were able to get a small table for two located in the corner by the front window. It was a great spot to eat and have a conversation. We ordered two appetizers..the shrimp quesadilla and welsh rarebit. Both were delicious! The cheese for the welsh rarebit was incredible and to add the tomato to it was even better. Highly recommend this appetizer. For our meal, I had the Spinach Grilled Cheese and my husband had the sherry mushroom fettuccine. Everything was excellent. Would definitely return to Henry's Pub! A++

This is our absolute favorite place to eat in downtown Loveland! The Place - Parking is plentiful either in front, behind or less than a block in several public lots. It's a pub, but don't hesitate to bring your kids. Lots of shops and interesting attractions in every direction. The Staff - Attentive, quirky, fun with all ages. We've been here a lot and always receive excellent service. The Food - Get ready for tough decisions from a menu chocked full of delicious. Fried pickles are always a hit and one of the best Fish-N-Chips in No. Colorado. Soup, salmon, burgers - all top flight.

Wanted to try something new...they have very good fried pickle spears..they are not greasy which makes them taste even better. .Their sliders are delicious! !The waitress was not all that friendly but I think it was because she was very busy..she was attentive though...

I have been here more times than I can count. This has to be my favorite restaurant in Northern Colorado. My wife and I frequent here for date nights. The atmosphere is dark and intimate. It's lively in the bar and everyone seems to be having a good time but it's plenty quiet so you can have a conversation. The food is so delicious. We almost always get the turkey club and the ahi tuna. The nachos are great as well. The drink selection is exactly what you want in NoCo. Micros and more micros. Plenty of martinis as well.

Lunch w/Mom. Place was full (good sign) but no wait for a table. Friendly waitstaff. I had French Dip, Mom had Fish-n-Chips. Both were good, not great. Pub fries are simply potato wedges, but were fried perfectly. Mom said fish was kinda bland, I though the Sandwich was good but nothing special. Basically? Good pub food, cooked properly (I'm constantly surprised at how that isn't true at many places) and served by friendly people.

Good menu and good food. Nice place to sit down to eat in downtown. The service is good enough, the past couple of times the waitresses could have been more attentive. But for the most part, my family will always happily choose Henry's.

With all the nearby fanciness and all the nearby dives, it's easy to overlook Henry's if you either want something good to eat or just something cheap. I've eaten at every restaurant on 4th St. but have only been consistently satisfied at Henry's. The food is especially good for the price. Waitstaff has never really caught my attention, which means they must be doing their job perfectly. Other customers are happy, I'm happy, beer is good. Get the fried goat cheese salad with strawberry vinaigrette. A multi-textured treat it is.

After reading the reviews, our expectations were high. We were not disappointed. I had the steak and shrimp. The meat was flavorful and cooked perfectly. My wife had the steak salad and loved it. My sons had the hamburger and buffalo ravioli. They enjoyed their choice. The service was great.
Great food and great cocktails. One of the best options for a sit down meal in Loveland.

I would have given them five stars but the lady bartender that helped us has horrible customer service skills. When I called I was put on hold in the middle of talking! My husband went to pick up the food and asked her if they were square because he wasn't sure if I paid over the phone and she just handed him the receipt and walked away so he thought that meant yes. I received a phone call from the bartender saying very rudely that my husband had left without paying! Knowing that is not him I called and he went right back and paid. He said upon walking up to the bar she said rudely, "Forget something!" My husband was very angry when he returned home needless to say.... The food was awesome!! Hopefully no one else has to have the same horrible customer service experience as us......

Just got done eating at Henry's and I am extremely disappointed. I read reviews and was all excited, but couldn't be more disappointed. Ordered root beer with the kids meals, only to find out that they were $3 each (at the end of dinner) and NOT included in the kids meal. Then the cheese "curds" were microwaved mozzarella bites straight from Sysco, and also the shrimp, fish and fries were also from Sysco. Grilled cheese was made with cheap bread and Kraft singles. The menu sounds super fresh, fancy and amazing, but bottom line was we got a bunch of pre made food for a fancy restaurant price. Super bummed. Oh the Thai Chicken salad was just alright. The dressing was red chile sauce, which was weird and way too strong to use for a dressing.

(5)Jesse G.
Their food was very delicious and affordable. We had a very kind waitress. I jokingly asked her to put Boyz ii Men on while I ate. She replied ever so nerviously "I can ask my manager." I told her I was kidding and she was a good sport about the whole thing! Lots of beers on tap!
(4)Jason J.
Not sure who was cooking back there, but that was some of the best food I've ever had in my life!
(5)Greg M.
Several micros on tap - with a variety of different local flavors. The menu has a very good variety and healthy portions.

We love it here. Good food, good people, good environment. One of our favorite dinner spots in Loveland.
(5)Chris W.

(5)Roxy J.
I have only tried two things here - the schnitzel and the bacon blue cheese burger. Both were delicious! I would definitely recommend this place.
(4)Tommy B.
(4)Michael S.
(5)Ashley H.
We took over a year and a half break from Henry's. The waitress that gave me so much attitude is no longer there. We are fans of the burgers, prosciutto & egg sandwich, chicken & brie sandwich & the pork schnitzel.
(3)Andrea H.
Since we moved to Loveland over 2 years ago, Henry's is our go-to place. Always excellent food and great service! I've tried almost everything on the menu and have never found something I don't like. Their martini's are great too!
(5)P T.
(5)Steve J.
(1)Annie M.
YUM!
(5)J S.
My family loves Henry's, been a favorite place since we moved here last year. Food is consistently great, we mostly order the Guinness short rib stew and the schnitzel. Great martinis too!
(5)Michele T.
(5)Debra D.
(3)Sass S.
Yummy!
(5)Dan F.
(5)Nick D.
(5)Kristen T.

(5)Leo C.
Came here with a fairly large group of family and friends. Our waitress was fantastic. I have never been to a restaurant where every single person at the table was overwhelmed with joy on the exceptional quality and flavor of their feast! For a pub, this is a gem.
(5)Sean M.
Great place for lunch. Food is consistently good. Occasionally longer waits when busy. I'd recommend it to friends.
(4)Kat S.

(5)M B.

(4)Karl S.

(5)Kelly H.
Came here Friday night with some girlfriends, there was about a 10 minute wait. We were seated very shortly and ordered the fried pickles (yum) and I ordered the Spinach grilled cheese (double yum). Not great atmosphere or outstanding service, but good food. I'll be back.
(3)C S.
Last couple times I've been here the food and service has been great. They've become quite established and one of the better places in downtown Loveland for a meal.
(4)Monty K.

(5)Dmitrii K.
Very good and fast service. Schnitzel very big and well done. I recommend portion of bourbon before main dish.
(5)Kevin H.
LOVE the bar, good food too
(4)Mo D.
(2)Christie L.
(3)Mindi T.
Menu had an interesting variety of offerings. We didn't have any beer but I loved the names of all the beers on tap. Service was good. Would go there again.
(4)J F.
Amazing atmosphere and great customer service. The food is delicious as well. I ordered the fish sandwich with sweet potato fries and will definitely be back for that meal again soon.
(5)Stephen K.
(4)Ron M.
Went for lunch. Very good service, nice atmosphere. Food was good, particularly the smoked salmon salad. We also ordered a Monte Christo. It was a good grilled ham and cheese but it lacked the whole breading and fried part that make a Monte Christo a Monte Christo
(3)Albert H.
Cool old-school feel here with the location and decor. Reminds me of other aged small cities I've visited over the years. Modest beer selection, though could be better. Food quality was above average but nothing to write home about. Service was below average in terms of promptness and knowledge of products. Prices fair.
(4)Dale C.
I love this place great food, great people.
(5)Ann E.
ahhh HENRYS why you gotta do me soo good. i dont live in loveland but everytime im in town i make sure to visit henrys. i love the local beers on tap. all my favorite. odell and new belgium. stella artois too!! i had the mushroom ravioli that were to die for. the cream sauce was thick and heavy and cheesy just how i like it. the spinach salad with candid walnuts is realllly good too. the booths are big and comfortable and its great to sit here for hours and enjoy your food and drinks!
(5)Jane P.
Great food and nice menu. Service was slow for not even being the lunch hour - there seemed to be plenty of staff so it was a bit disappointing in that respect. Had the salmon sandwich; tasted great and loved the ranch.
(3)Charlie L.
(5)Jaqueline A.
(5)John C.
Great Little Pub with good variety of dishes and good selection of beer. A great place to eat prior to a show or concert at the rialto
(4)Anita Y.
(4)Dan W.
(3)Michel B.
ok food. service on second visit was horrible---waited 30 minutes for food (and we have a 10 month old baby with us)- waitress apologized by giving some long-winded explanation that the "kitchen was slammed....and they would rip her a new one if she got on them about taking so long..." I pretty much stopped listening, the excuse was so long.
(3)CJ W.
Best place in Loveland to eat. Great food every time, wonderful specials, great local beer, fun atmosphere! I love to go every chance I get!
(5)Jim L.

Nothing to make us want to go back
(3)Dana G.

Oye!
(4)Eliot L.
Busy restaurant with limited seating at the bar. Courteous hostess, bartender, and servers. Decent food. Had the shrimp scampi and dinner salad.
(4)Jeff S.
(5)Mark M.

(3)Denise T.
(4)Alexa K.
This place is excellent. The wait staff are friendly and the food is delicious. The mussels were fantastic and so were the fish and chips.
(5)Aimee V.
(4)Nick S.
one of the best restaurants i have been to in the loveland foco area. great food good prices. i really enjoy the fish and chips here. they also have a great buffalo meatloaf. my guess is that whatever you choose to eat here will be made with quality and have great flavors
(4)Laura L.
(4)Jason T.
Always good; never bad food or bad service. Excellent salads. Sometimes can be quite crowded and doesn't have a waiting area, so be prepared to wait outside if you're going on a Friday or Saturday.
(4)Lisa R.
One of my fav's in downtown Loveland. I normally get the garden salad with chicken. They have tons of veggies on this salad and the chicken is straight from the grill. They have the best tasting ranch in the world too. The hot wings are pretty good! You will not be disappointed with the taste of the food here.
(5)K. W.
(4)Randall B.
The good and service here are amazing. I have been here about a half dozen times and every time I'm happy. The dinner menu is superior to the lunch menu. I highly recommend the schnitzel or bison meatloaf. They also have an extraordinary selection of cocktails and martinis.
(5)Tawny C.
(4)George L.
(4)Logan M.
(5)Jake J.

(4)Ryan U.

(5)Kristy S.
Wanted to try something new...they have very good fried pickle spears..they are not greasy which makes them taste even better. .Their sliders are delicious! !The waitress was not all that friendly but I think it was because she was very busy..she was attentive though...
(4)Kyle F.
(5)Ken N.
(3)Amy H.
Good menu and good food. Nice place to sit down to eat in downtown. The service is good enough, the past couple of times the waitresses could have been more attentive. But for the most part, my family will always happily choose Henry's.
(4)Jesse M.

A group of 9 of us came here for a company lunch today and had nothing but the best service with top notch food. The waitstaff could not have been more accommodating for our large group. They were on top of everything. We ordered the Irish nachos and calamari for the appetizers. The calamari was really tender and the sauce was good (a tad on the sweet side). The Irish nachos were good but didn't blow me away. A dash of seasoned salt on the fries would have been awesome but then I like salt. For my main I ordered the blackened salmon sliders. YUM! Really good stuff happening between that little bun. I also ate one piece of the fish and chips which was incredible. The fish was coated in a light, crispy batter that highlighted the fish perfectly. We did a round robin with desserts and sampled the creme brûlée, brownie with ice cream, bread pudding and the dessert of the day which was a chocolate cake with peppermint icing. The special dessert was the least favorite - rather dry cake and not a big hit of peppermint. BUT, the creme brûlée and bread pudding were fantastic. Our waitress was also a good sport and took several group photos of us. A really nice way to spend our lunch. Thank you!
