We went for Sunday brunch and it was awesome. Amazing bacon! My wife had the Smoked Duck omelet and I had Deborah's Garbage egg breakfast. Both were outstanding. The best part was the Bloody Mary Bar! Lots of ingredients to choose from and you can make your own. A terrific way to start your day!

Don't let the location fool you. Unpretentious and relaxed. Friendly staff and a good selection of wines "under $50". Will go back to try the food.

Food and drinks were good. They have a wide variety of drinks and the atmosphere is unique and romantic. Good place for hang-outs and dates. Just wish they had more food options on the menu.

Just had drinks and appetizers today, everything tasted good, but, prices were a little expensive for my taste, probably won't visit this establishment often.

Great spot for drinks, haven't had any food except dessert, but that was great too. The staff is really nice, and you can tell they actually love the place. Truly one of Loveland's hidden gems. Wait for the train to roll through, and have a train shot. It's definitely worth it.

Nice little spot in Loveland. We stopped in here on our way from Fort Collins to Boulder. We only had drinks but the manhattan made with a local bourbon was great and the bartender Amber was fantastic.

Had dinner here last Friday night with a girlfriend. The flank steak and greens was amazing!! Best dish I have had in a long time. Flavorful- great presentation and fresh. We each had a fabulous martini - mine was the basil martini- yummy!! I will be back. Cute cute decor too!

This is one fantastic restaurant and lounge! The menu is unbelievable the wine list covers every palate possible and the service is unbelievable frankly seller! I always feel welcomed and appreciated and they always know how to make my day even better! I would recommend generations for any occasion for anyone who wants an education on how to do it right come see how these folks are doing it every night!

Generations is a classy little bar on the other side of the tracks on fourth street! A long list of wines and speciality drinks, with a beer or two on tap! The drinks and service are great but what I love most about generations is the food! The best bar food hands down! Their chef is very creative and pays much attention to detail! They always have something new and excited to offer! Sometimes the chef brings your food to your table which is a real treat, I love chatting with kortne when I visit! Kept it up generations!

My wife and I wanted to go out and grab some martinis. We used to go to Elliot's in Fort Collins before we moved and wanted something like that. Honestly, I didn't expect it to be as good as Elliot's, but it ended up being better. The atmosphere is more inviting and much quieter. When I go out for drinks with anyone I want to actually be able to socialize, not yell over the music and noise. This place is more calm and relaxing than Elliot's and we both appreciated that. They also serve food, and it's very well done. I've seen some people complaining about the menu size, but I honestly thought it had a solid selection. I thought they had plenty of different entrees, sandwiches, pastas, and appetizers to choose from. While not as many options as some restaurants may have, this is obviously a place that prefers to focus on a small, quality menu of unique food instead of a large menu that forces them to sacrifice quality. We had the Scottish Nachos, a margherita pizza, and bread pudding. We loved all of it, and I can see us coming here just for dinner some time. Perhaps most importantly, the martinis were great. My wife had the Elderberry & Lychee, and I had the Tiramisu. They were mixed perfectly, and we'll be coming back to try more of the martini menu. Pricing really wasn't bad like some have complained about. Dinner is in the $10-13 range (although you can find more expensive items), which is standard for any chain restaurant, except the food is far better here. Martinis were $8 each and the size of a double, also the going rate. Service was excellent, and the food came out fast. We're definitely coming back here for a variety of reasons, and I strongly recommend that you give it a shot.

Wow, incredible! Erin (the owner) and her amazing team including Jenna and Amber did an AWESOME job taking care of a huge private lunch party on July 27. We had 55 people in their lovely establishment and a tight timeframe to get lunch served to everyone. The Generations crew NAILED it! Delicious, beautiful food (a set menu) came out of the kitchen promptly and was delivered with grace. As places were being cleared - making room for warm, buttery, heavenly bread pudding - I noticed 99% of the plates were devoid of any food save a remnant of garnish. If you are looking for a venue to host a private event, give Generations a call/visit. Although I can't attest to the regular menu because this was my first visit and it was a set menu, I can promise I will be back the next time I'm up north! It's worth the trip, I guarantee it. Thank you Erin, Amber, Jenna and the whole Generations team! You added so much to a very wonderful celebratory occasion last week!

Great martinis and tapas! This is a wonderful place for happy hour. I highly recommend the chocolate martini for dessert!

Seven of us from a conference in town stopped by for a wine tasting on Thursday evening in February. The day after they reopened after their refurbishing. It was pretty quiet even though there were three tables occupied. We were given a choice of seats and we took forever to order but they were patient with us. The server, I think his name was Andrew, was a English chap who was quite entertaining. Under different circumstances however, I would probably call him incompetent. But we were in high spirits despite the snow. (One of the ladies who's about 35 or so loudly mentioned she hadn't been carded and he ran back from the kitchen asking to see her ID. It was kinda hilarious. Even more so because of the context... haha) We ordered 4 tapas style appetizers. I got the bacon wrapped dates, which is the special that you get if you show your yelp check in to them. It was DELICIOUS! They were lovely and gave us seven pieces of everything that we ordered, which is probably not how many is usually on the plate. They also took off a bunch from our bill. By my standards, that's A-OK! The wine tasting was informative and delicious. There was a chardonnay, a rose, and another wine starting with an M. I forget. it was deliciously sweet. The sommelier told us a lot about his wine classes and even gave a couple of us a fancy cork screw. I was a little bummed I didn't get one but I couldn't have brought it with me anyway so that's okay :) If I'm ever in town again, I'd definitely be back. They seem to have lots of specials and deals, even other than Thursday night ladies night!

Small and easily packed out on the weekends but the drinks are great! Finally a decent wine and martini bar in Loveland. I just wish the space was bigger. Excellent food. I'm obsessed with the duck sandwich. It's got a zip to it and the flavor is incredible. A muzzy try!

Cozy place with good drinks, eclectic beer and wine selection. Help is always spot on, never ate here but hear it's good.

Generations had the worst costumer service I've ever had. Especially since I was bringing a huge crowd both times. The first was on a weekday for happy hour. We arrived at our table 15 minutes before happy hour started but we were ignored until about 5 till. At that time, We ordered 4 appetizers and 6 martinis. They told us happy hour was over soon. We mentioned that we had been waiting for a sever but they said oh well the computer won't allow me to enter it now. We were very disappointed but decided to give Generations a second try. On this day, it was the Zombie walk downtown. Again we had a large party. 5 people were dressed as zombies and 2 were 80s rockers. If you were dressed up they said you would get $1 off martinis. We ordered 7 martinis and the waitress proceeded to go around the table and say who they thought looked like a zombie and who didn't and said the costumes who didn't wouldn't receive $1 off. We said that we had been receiving discounts at every other bar and the waitress still refused. At that time we all walked out. 9 costumers who were all drinking and eating dinner lost just for a few dollars. Not a good business move. I have never been treated this way at any other establishment and will not be back.

Very cozy eclectic place. Fantastic martini menu and appetizers are fantastic. A bit over priced.

My wife and her parents went here for Easter buffet, which apparently you need reservations for - strange since it didn't appear busy. Anyways, we found the place off of 4th and the outside was very unassuming, but once we walked in it felt very classy! We were quickly given a table and the decor was quite interesting. I can see why they named it Generations with all of their own family photos on the wall. There is a sense of poetry in the photos that inspire conversations. The rest of the decor was well thought out and well put together. The server was very friendly and I was very impressed with her! Since the meal was buffet style we just had to order drinks. The options were juice, water, mimosas and a bottomless blood mary bar (which is cool if you like those). I had a Mimosa and they had bloody marys. They were all good, but expensive (the prices were not on the menu - kinda sneaky). The food was all typical breakfast items including waffles, country potatoes, biscuits and gravy, etc. They also had some other interesting items such as shrimp and salmon! All of the food was good and I would recommend anyone to this establishment. I'll have to warn them about the prices, but that shouldn't deter most from coming here on an occasional basis.

Awesome little place in downtown Loveland. I love the bacon wrapped dates and the mini grilled cheese bites. I've also enjoyed the Margherita Pizza. The martini selections are varied and always tasty. The bartender/server Cole is super nice and attentive. We recently wentthere for the Sunday Brunch and had an amazing breakfast. The Greek egg dish was superb and the bottomless Bloody Mary bar helped make the day even better ;-) I plan to go back frequently.

I like this place a lot, My Husband & I live a few blocks away & enjoy walking there for happy hours. We enjoy supporting Downtown Loveland & are very active there. It's small, tables are close which lends itself to chatty tables & people talking-I like that. It's a nicer, upscal-ish place to grab a drink downtown. If you happen to go during Happy Hour I would recommend paying off your bill at the end of happy hour, and then starting another with regular pricing, we have had consistant problems with items on our bill. I go there regularly and will continue too.

We had such a great experience the first time we went to Generations that we thought we would go back. It was a warm evening in April and inside the restaurant was boiling hot - literally we were dripping in sweat by the time we left. The food was still very good (the highlight really) and the wine menu is very limited (considering its a wine bar).... they have a patio, currently you can't take drinks out there. After this experience not sure we will be returning...

Blink and you might miss this place when driving down 4th street in Loveland. Since it was still day light outside, we caught a glance of this little spot on the far west side of the developing downtown area and went in. Atmosphere: The outside isn't much to look at and other than the sign out front; you may not think its any type of bar, let alone a wine & martini joint. The inside is painted in grays and deep purples with black carpet on the floor. The bar itself is long and takes up the west side of the narrow building and is lined with white retro style bar stools, that are a bit wobbly but comfy once perched upon. There are tables with couch style bench seating on the opposite wall and a patio opening in the next week. Service: Service was great at the bar. In fact, there were twice as many workers as there were customers. Drinks: The wine list is well thought out, but the martini selection seems to be fluffed with well-known shots turned into a larger martini versions. The lack of originality was made up for with execution of the "Cherry Cheesecake" martini, which managed to be as decadent as cheesecake, yet still light and refreshing. The "Joes" (a classic dirty gin martini) was shaken to perfection and blue cheese stuffed olives were a welcome garnish. Oh and if you are there when the train passes by they offer $2 shots called "train shots" from a dispenser sitting behind the bar. Food: The menu isn't the largest we have seen but is well rounded with a selection of Tapas, flat-bread pizzas, sandwiches and wraps. We enjoyed the roasted red pepper hummus that was served with crackers, pita bread and fresh vegetables. Everything is very reasonably priced with nothing over $13 and most appetizers are half price during happy hour.

This place has the best Martinis and it's decorated so cute!

Been waiting 15 mins for a martini..rediculous Martini was good once I actually got it

Had a girls' night out tonight and overall had a good time. The service was a little slow but the waitress was sweet and attentive. 15 martinis to choose from, plus special cocktails, wine, beer. Small tapas menu, and even smaller full meal selection. Don't go here for dinner. Go for the nice atmosphere, obviously new with grey brick and black leather banquet seating, and to enjoy a drink. I had the Mary Jane martini, sweet with a little kick, while a friend had the Basil cucumber martini, which was more herbal and refreshing. I had the mushroom goat cheese pizza. Plethora of basil and generous amount of goat cheese on a tender crust, while my friend had the eggplant dip. It turned out to be a huge helping of dip, very tomato-paste tasting and cold, with a strange aftertaste, with a lot of water crackers to eat. It wasn't a winner. But the place was fun and a good way to start off your evening.
