Went there for lunch today for the first time. I read a lot of poor reviews so I've been hesitant to visit. The first thing I noticed was the place was very clean with lots of windows. That's a good first impression. It was also very cold. They had some serious A/C blasting. I'm guessing its very warm in the kitchen and that helps the staff but it was uncomfortably cold to me. Fortunately they had a patio and it was a pleasant Colorado 75 degrees outside. The pizza was solid but the selection was extremely limited. They had a few slices of pepperoni, lots of cheese, and 1 slice of pepperoni and sausage. My wife and I both wanted Pep and Sausage but had to settle. It surprised me that the couldn't just add the toppings post order since they throw it in the oven anyway. That's the way most east coast style pizza joints do it. The biggest disappointment was the pizza rolls. I ordered a pepperoni pizza role and it took a while to find any pepperoni or cheese. It was basically a big wad of dough. Maybe that's how it is supposed to be but I certainly won't be trying it again. Overall it was a decent experience and I will probably stop in for slice every now and then if I am shopping in the area. With a few tweaks they could be a solid 4-5 stars. Recommendations: - Better selection or flexibility with toppings - Don't skimp on the fillings for the pizza roles

Average pizza place. Good for Centerra to get another quick service option though. Sometimes you just need to eat something quick while out shopping or your not dressed for bent fork or PF Changs. The space is neat. Big glass doors that can be opened to the patio space. I could see it being a decent summer hang to enjoy a beer on the patio. The pizza was a decent version floppy, thin crust. I bought a slice and a pepperoni roll. It was expensive in my opinion. Today I just needed a quick lunch so it worked. Not sure I'll be back with my wife. Hard to justify 20 bucks for a few slices. And it's a Pepsi place...

Coming from New York my pizza hunt continues. This ranks up there for some of the worst pizza I have had. Sauce was terrible, the toppings i mean if there were any on the pizza. Nice looking restaurant but lousy food. Will not go back. Wont recommend this place to anyone. We ate half of the pizza and through the other half of it away. Big waste of money don't go here.

Beautiful sunny day yesterday so we decided to do some mindless shopping in Centerra. Found this new pizza by the slice joint tucked away behind the shops so we decided to try it. The perfect afternoon snack at an affordable price, right? NOPE. 2 slices, 2 sodas and a meatball parm = $22.00 !!! I know this place is new and the staff are confused/affraid but it just wasn't a positive experience. First of all, the pizzas are sitting under a heat lamp. I figured the guy will take our slices and pop them back in the oven to warm them up. No. He served them to us cold! I can have cold pizza at home, dude. Trust me, I did it throughout college! We get the pizzas/drinks and we are told that the meatball sub will be ready in 15 minutes... great... I had to sit and watch everyone else eat their cold pizzas while I waited for my meal. Not very efficient. 15 minutes later I get my meatball parm. It was full of lettuce!!! Who puts lettuce on a meatball parm?!? People in NY would SHANK YOU if they found out what you were doing to their classic sandwich! My son was brave enough to take a bite and said the meatballs tasted like the ones in his school cafeteria and that the bread was hard and worthy of chipping a tooth. In the end, it was an expensively decent cold pizza. Just stay away from the sandwiches. These guys are new and understandably so. Hopefully they will get their act together. Until them, I'm staying away.

I technically never ended up eating here as our experience was pretty bad at the onset and we walked out. We wanted to enjoy a slice on Pi Day. We were one of two customers. We stood around for over 10 minutes while the guy behind the counter got the guy in front of us ONE slice to go. What would they do if they had a legitimate line??? And it was freezing in there! They'd opened the big door and it was windy and cold at that time of day. I wish one of the two workers would have acknowledged they'd be with us soon but nothing. I couldn't even tell which side to order from or where to form a line. The setup is confusing. When I saw a slice is $3.29 I was done. That price would be adequate for a legitimate NY sized-slice because that would be filling. These are regular smallish slices. Why would I pay $6.60 for two small slices knowing that wouldn't even fill us? I'd rather order an entire pizza but didn't want to wait in that bitter cold place. Not to mention the slices looked like they'd been under the lamps for quite awhile. It's too bad, Centerra needs more fast food. I won't go back.

The staff was very friendly. But the food is just reheated pizza and not very good at that. They won't be here for long if they don't step it up.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
