Went here on Father's Day with a reservation although it wasn't needed. We were sat and served immediately. Water, menus and bread to start. I don't normally order Italian out because I prefer the homemade versions none the less I decided on the Chicken Marsala. It was good no complaints at all. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meal the only downside was not the best service from the waiter but decent. We tried a few desserts too that were also very pleasing. From what I tasted it seems likes a good Italian experience I would recommend it for good Italian food however not great or exceptional.

Good ambiance for a date or a family. Nice selection of wine and drinks. Had the lamb chops which were booked a bit too much and were in a soupy bowl which I didn't care for.

We went to this restaurant on a whim. What a delightful evening we had! The food was excellent and the service was wonderful. We can't wait to return!! Definitely give it a try!

The restaurant was beautiful and the service was great but the food was less than desirable. My boyfriends cheesecake was still partially frozen and my pasta was was visually unappealing, same for the taste. I would go back for apps and drinks, but not for a full meal.

Well, while the food is above average (good) for a national chain, the service can be spotty. Reliable for dining out. Definitely a plus that they make an effort for gluten-free-needs customers. Biaggi's Ristorante(s) are typically located in "upscale" shopping areas across the country and this one is no different, located just off I -25 in the Centerra plaza at the Southeast end of Loveland. One inside it is exactly like every other Biaggi's. And like those others the offer up Italian style dishes, both traditional (chicken parm, & pizza) and contemporary variations like squid ink pasta with lobster sauce and scallops. (yummy). Favs are the butternut squash risotto and I recommend their bacon wrapped dates appetizer, it is great and if you can avoid inhaling them and/or burning your mouth, you can do what we did and savor them and figure out how to do them at home, i.e., reverse engineer them and have best-ever hors d'Å“uvres at your next party.

If you haven't had the white chocolate bread pudding here, you haven't had a very happy life. It's true. Get to a Biaggi's today, your life depends on it. I'm a huge fan of the butternut squash ravioli. It's filling without being heavy and the taste is uh-uh-mazing. Also, if you go for lunch during the wek, they have a really cool soup/salad sampler, which means you get to try them all for one low price.

Great location, low wait times, outstanding food. Have a separate gluten free menu for those who need it. Gluten free pizza is my favorite, as well as the creme brûlée!

First time for a lunch bite. Tasteless food, I went for the minestrone dishwater with a half a sandwich special, indeed special it wasn't. To be honest, just disappointed. Nice people, nice restaurant, just slap dash for a lunch effort. The chicken and goats cheese chibata was soggy bread and dry chicken, no goats cheese, which was the wrong way round. The manager comped the meal and offered a replacement, but by then I would gave been eating alone. Like I said, nice people. Please be better next time..?

We went to Biaggi's specifically for their cheese stuffed pasta, the tortelloni. After ordering, the waiter told us they were sold out of that. So we had to reorder something else, which we really didn't want but didn't want to leave and decide where else to go. So we picked two other entrees, one of which was the rigatoni. The dish had very little sauce and what was there was watery, and to make things even worse the pasta was undercooked and chewy. The manager asked how things were and we told her about the bad pasta. She said they cook it 'al dente.' I've tried all kinds of pasta from many Italian restaurants and I know when it's been undercooked instead of 'al dente.' Give me a break, this restaurant is just no good.

Came here with group of 10 for lunch. Excellent selection choice, and everyone was happy with their meals. The bread with olive oil/cheese/pepper was a really good start. We ate so much bread and olive oil/parmesan dipping sauce we were almost full before the meal came. In addition to full-size menu options, lots of different selections with the half soup/half salad (bottomless!), half salad/half pasta, half soup or salad/half sandwich options - you get two for $9-$10. Large portions, and quite tasty. Service was fine and we had everything we needed. The ambiance was really nice, apparently newly remodeled and more upscale. Nicely done! The next day, we went to the Bent Fork restaurant in the same shopping complex, which was supposed to be fancier -- Biaggi's prices, ambiance, and service were so much better! Bent Fork tried to cram 8 of us at a table for 6 just because the young teenage hostesses were too lazy in a half-empty restaurant to move tables together until we asked, and we paid at least $5 more per meal with no delicious bread with tasty dipping sauce. Wish we had gone back to Biaggi's!

Came here with three coworkers for dinner. We started with the fried ravioli which we all liked. Bread was also really good. I ordered the Fettuccine with Lobster that was served with a lobster cream sauce. I asked for them to hold the chili flakes that came in it, and the server told me the sauce was spicy. She said she could give me a sample of the sauce to try and make sure it wasn't too spicy for me. I tried it and it wasn't spicy, but it was super bland to me. I asked if I could have the lobster-tomato cream sauce that I saw on the menu for another item. She had no idea what I meant, asked the chefs and apparently it's the same sauce? So while she was doing this research for me, I took the marinara from the fried ravioli, mixed it with the lobster cream sauce, and it was really good, so I just had her bring me a side of marinara, and poured it on my dish and it ended up being pretty good. I wouldn't say it was great, but I think I would have been disappointed if I had just the plain cream sauce.

I would look for a Noodles and Company before returning here. The atmosphere was nice, but the food is nothing to go out of your way for. I would recommend avoiding this place if you have any kind of food allergies. Even after telling the waitress I could not have dairy she re peridot recommended cream dishes and brought my food with added cheese.

Biaggi's has been given a mixed bag of reviews. As a girl from the Northeast who craves the amazing eats I took for granted, this establishment is one of the only places that can curb that craving! A glass of house Chianti and some sea scallops and the world is alright again. Can it be pricey? Yes. But you also have the option of any pasta entree for $10 including Lobster and Fettuccine. And their seafood is always cooked to perfection. This is also the perfect place for drinks n apps. Give it a try! You won't regret it.

This is not real Italian food. I have gone there two times - first time was just for dessert. We ordered cannoli, and the shell was soggy and the filling was missing in the center of the shell. The second time I went there, it was also questionable. The olive oil is clearly not extra virgin olive oil - or at least not pure extra virgin olive oil - the taste and color are all wrong. Secondly, their classic margherita pizza is not even close to the real deal. Also, a cream sauce is absolutely not an alfredo sauce. I would like to see anyone travel to Italy and order alfredo - it doesn't exist over there; cream sauces do indeed though, but alfredo and cream sauce are not the same and should not be advertised as such. Their pesto is amazing though! But I had to order something off the menu to get it. Oh, and their wine list is misleading. It states that they have roses, which they do not. A White Zin is a blush NOT a rose. When I asked the waitress if they had any rose, she pointed out the white zin, which I stated was a blush, and she began to argue with me stating that they are practically the same thing (which, if you have ever had a rose and a blush, you would know that they are not even related). Also, after taking our orders we never saw our waitress again, well we did, at the table next to us (it was a larger group, we were only a group of two, there were eight of them). Maybe she was trying for a larger tip from the larger bill? At any rate, we were lucky to have other staff walk by, so when we needed a refill, order dessert, or even our check we were able to do so but with difficulty. Finally, we ordered cannoli again, and once more the shell was half filled - huge disappointment! I sent in a comment about my experience, but never heard from Biaggi's which is fine, because I wasn't planning on returning anyway. There are much better places to eat around town (or next door - try PF Changs). The dining room was quite loud as well, but it was at least 3/4 full. The prices were quite high for the poor quality of food and service.

Keep forgetting to review this place, so here goes... We have been here a few times now, after/before shopping in the area. Food is decent, and filling, and there are several options. The focaccia bread is yummy and DH enjoyed his black pasta & lobster dish. Portions are large, so if you come at lunch, get the half size of pasta or get the soup & salad combo. It's also pretty cold in here, bring a jacket or sweater if you get chilled easily.

THANK YOU YELPERS, you were right...the white chocolate bread pudding was amazing! I visited Biaggi's for the first time ever yesterday at lunch. I was pleasantly surprised. Hostess was pleasant, and the focaccia bread with parmesan, black pepper, and olive oil was great. I started with an appetizer (Bruschetta Classico) which was tasty, then moved on to a half & half lunch with a smoked turkey panini and cup of broccoli cheese soup. Both good, the soup was one of the better broccoli cheese soups I've had. And then finished of the mean with some white chocolate bread pudding, which by itself, would have made the trip worthwhile. I was expecting higher prices, but it was moderate. (I did not see the dinner menu prices) Service was alright, not extraordinary, but not bad. The food was good. The ambiance was good, although not a place for loud conversations...feels kind of subdued like the feeling when you are in a library or taking a test. Overall, I liked it and will probably try it again. To top it off two very lovely young ladies sitting in the bar area were flirting with my associate on the way out. Good day. Although in hindsight I hope they weren't waving to me...as soon as I left I had the thought, "Did I know them and just not recognize them across the restaurant?!" I don't want to be that jerk...so, here's to hoping they just liked my cohort. ;) Thumbs up for Biaggi's for me.

First time there was pretty good, about a year ago. Then this week we went and it was awful. Waiter recommended pork chops with Gorgonzola butter. Two thin, overcooked, leathery chops covered in a mealy paste of breadcrumbs and, I guess, cheese. Accompanied by a pile of inedible, tough, fibrous green beans. I ate some of the beans and my gut has been paying for it for 2 days. My wife had chicken Pietro, which apparently in Italian means cooked until dry, smothered in balsamic vinegar and dumped on a plate with the same awful beans. Waiter could not have cared less, nothing was taken off the bill or offered to make up for this truly subpar meal. Dropped the check on the table without ever offering dessert or coffee. There are so many chain Italian restaurants, no reason to ever go back to his one.

The ambience....ugh...no, I swore to never again use the word "ambience" in a yelp review. eVer. Our waitress handled our party of 15 with ease, and that's quite a feat considering 1/3 of the group were kids! Their pizza and their mac & cheese got two sticky thumbs up. My grilled veggie sandwich contained just the right veggies, nothing too crunchy, and the amount of cheese was just right. My husband's personal pizza was too large to be personal, lucky for me since I get his leftovers as a midnight snack. No reason to not give 'em 5 stars. I left happy.

Food is great, but very pricey. Service is always slow. If you want real authentic Italian food, this is defently the place to check out. Lunch time is usually empty, however Dinner is usually packed.

Decent chain alternative to Olive Garden & Maggiano's. Bread is delicious. Eggplant Parm is quite good as well. This location also has decent draft beer options, but this is par for the course in Colorado I suppose. Staff was prompt and nice. Plenty of parking.

The focaccia bread, parmesan and olive oil that comes at the beginning of the meal is such a great start to the meal. Last time I was here I got a seafood dish (I can't remember the name of it - but it had several different types of seafood served on a bed of angel hair pasta) and it was filled with a lot of great herbs and flavors. The reason I didn't give it five stars or four is because it is a little pricey and the service is not always consistent. Overall this place is great when you want some italian dishes you can't find elsewhere

We lived in Colorado for 5 years and this is the best restaurant in Northern Colorado. No, seriously. We ate here at least 2 dozen times and NEVER had an off experience. The food is reasonable, fresh and always carefully prepared. Granted, Fort Collins/Loveland is no dining mecca, but if you value consistency then this is the place to go!

The ambience is pretentious, all soft light and fake elegance. The waiter was nice, a bit too talkative for my taste, but the service was fine. I had the chicken marsala and it was bland. Not horrible, just bland. The mashed potatoes were pretty good but the decent bread were about the only food items I enjoyed. The wine list was expansive although I didn't have any so I can't comment on whether it was any good. The whole thing felt like an amped-up, overpriced Olive Garden with marginally better salad.

Well, I went back again the other night hoping to have a better experience than the last. We originally wanted to go to PF Chang's next door, but they had a 30 minute wait. Biaggi's was almost empty. It was a sad sight to see. We were seated immediately with fresh bread brought out quickly! We ordered some drinks and a small caesar salad to split between three of us. The Italian margaritas were WAY too sweet. We sent them back and ordered beers and mojitos instead that were much better. The caesar dressing was a little weak, but it wasn't horrible. Even the olive oil for the bread tasted weak. It seemed as if it was switched out for a cheaper brand than the one they served before. I ordered my favorite, the shrimp caneloni. I should have snapped a photo because when it came out, it looked burnt. There were brown spots on top of the pasta and the sauce was very thick as if it had over reduced. There also wasn't much sauce. The dish actually seemed kind of dry. It tasted OK, but it wasn't like I remembered it. My mother had the baked ziti and my dad had one of their specials, the snow crab ravioli. He said it was bland and just wasn't very good. My mother did however enjoy her ziti. Overall, I am really sad to see how Biaggi's has gone down hill. This place used to be so wonderful! I'd say over the last year it has started to deteriorate. What happened? Did the management change? Did the chefs change? Did some idiot in their corporate office change the recipes? The bold, rich flavors I was used to have been replaced by a cheap, bland substitute. It's seriously disappointing. I want the old Biaggi's back!

Very tasty food; crisp, friendly service. Busy but not overwhelming. Staff works very hard. Tasty salmon, flavorful eggplant, spinach fettuccini with lobster......all very good. Will return.

As a first-time visitor to Colorado, I was saddened to drive up and quickly realize this was a chain and not a place that would liken me to the Colorado cuisine. With that said, the wedge salad was generous and the homemade bleu cheese dressing was delicious. I got Lambrusco for my wine, which is generally a little fizzy (and delicious) on the tongue, but obviously their bottle had been out for a while because there was no fizz. It was still good. My rigatoni w/ sausage came out dry, indicating it had been sitting under the heat lamp for too long. The portion was also pretty small. Boyfriend got some chicken dish with balsamic vinegar & mustard plus veggies and really hated it. I gave it a try and while I didn't hate it (it was very tangy) I'm glad I didn't order it. Veggies were also severely undercooked and I actually tend to enjoy crisp veggies. It could have been 200% better if the chicken and veggies weren't swimming in a pool of the sauce. It was pretty sloppy and just very overwhelming when it could have been perfectly marinated and elegant. Overall, a pretty big disappointment.

I've never had to wait to be seated, so already that's a plus! As soon as you are seated they bring out hot, fresh bread :) Because I like bread more than I like chocolate, this is the way to my heart, lol. The atmosphere is nice, reminds me of a steak house due to the dark woods and dim lighting. The foods not bad either :)

Our food was great tonight . We were even allowed to dine on their beautiful patio. It seems the management on certain nights will only reluctantly open the patio for dining. We always ask for outdoor seating but are rarely given an enthusiastic response . The hostesses usually tell us it's closed & will only open it when we ask to talk with the manager. We are then treated rudely by the hostesses. The nights when they close the patio all of the other restaurants in the center have theirs open. It's so disturbing that we have decided to ask before we arrive and dine at a different restaurant when they tell us it's closed. I'm hoping that they will soon get all of their managers to open the patio. Tonight's was a very nice new manager who personally escorted us to our table and made us feel welcome. The food and the bread were great, but we were celebrating a birthday and no complimentary desserts. That seems unusual. We were very pleased with the wait staff too. I'm rating them a 4 star because of the lack of complimentary birthday desserts, but we did enjoy the restaurant tonight! Please open the patio more often!!

A friend and I went for dinner on Jan 10th. She has been raving about the butternut squash ravioli. I gave it a try and was so dissappointed. It came out in a bowl of butter soup. The sauce had no sage taste, the walnuts were mushy and the garnish of squash cubes were under done. Service was odd and very robotic. I've never quite seen anything like it. It left us wondering what the contest prize was for selling the nightly special as she mentioned it 4 times. A canned spiel made the experience impersonal. Were there eyes in the sky watching that she removed everything in site on the table while we were finishing up and relaxing after dinner. Ite was not a busy night. I boxed my butter soup and by the time I got home it had hardened to a dense crust over the pasta. not my idea of a successful dish.

I feel a little bit torn writing this review- some aspects of our experience at Biaggi's were wonderful, and some were less-than-desirable. Firstly, let me say that I love the atmosphere. It's very sexy. Good lighting, dark wood, etc. Love. Secondly, I was extremely happy that they have an extensive wine list with several of my favorites on it. Ordered a bottle of wine. We then ordered the carpaccio appetizer, which, while it was a large portion, it was a little underwhelming. I ordered the mussels, and my boyfriend ordered the shrimp and salmon. Mom ordered the Penne Sardi. Both the salmon and the penne pasta were very good. I would order either again. However, I had to actually send back my mussels. They were SOOOOO salty. I understand that food from the ocean is naturally very salty. But don't over-salt it after that! I told the waitress I couldn't eat it and that I didn't want anything else. She took it off our bill and was apologetic. The white chocolate bread pudding was TO. DIE. FOR. Get it. Eat it. Love it. We'll be back for sure.

When the posted outside menu is so sun-damaged you can't easily read it, when you have to call yoo-hoo to get someone to seat you and when the light is so dim inside during the day you can't read the menu -- well, I asked for a flashlight and the waiter was grumpy -- then, well...then it's time to go elsewhere. However good the food might have been, with a beginning like that, I prefer to patronize a place that seems to have considered those beginning welcoming steps. It was the first time I've left a restaurant without ordering.

I really like this restaurant. It's close to where I live and very convenient when I'm in the mood for Italian food (tends to happen quite often). Having traveled through Italy last summer, I've come to the realization that these guys do a fairly decent job at bringing authentic flavors. Better than most chain restaurants. I know that this one is also a chain, they just do it better. The chicken florentine soup is excellent! Great upscale atmosphere and the staff is always there to help. An excellent place to bring a date! Just make sure to get there early on weekends.

We took a stab in the dark in picking this place, knowing nothing about it - we were VERY pleasantly surprised. Parking is free in a big lot right at the restaurant. The place was very nice inside, super clean and friendly service. While it had a casual, friendly vibe, it was a little more upscale inside - not uppity - but, just nice inside (definitely NOT a dive). The inside was very open and pretty. What I particularly like about this place was you could get smaller portions for a smaller price. I had the grilled vegetable risotto - which was out of this world. There was lots of good squash in it, and lots of other veggies. The risotto was cooked perfectly and the small portion (with a small pricetag!) was plenty. My friend had the butternut squash ravoli - again, the small portion - which was enough. It, too, was very flavorful and good. They serve a nice bread before the meal, which I really liked. For dessert we had a chocolate-something, served hot in a dish (see my photo). OMG, SO good! Get it! Nice place. Good service. Good food. Good dessert. All good!

I had the Rigatoni Alla Bolognese, and I did not particularly care for this dish. The noodles were under cooked, and very chewy. The sauce tasted like they put tomato sauce into a cheese sauce, which was not tasty. I have had the lasagna there on our last visit, and that was very good! They serve a complimentary basket of fresh Focaccia and Baguette Bread, which is delicious! The ambiance is very pleasant, the staff is friendly and helpful. This is a very clean, upscale restaurant.

I've eaten here before and found the experience quite nice. Tonight the wheels fell of the bus as they say. From start to finish it was a mess, rude and incompetent wait staff, 10 minutes to get water, then the staff started dragging dirty kitchen floor mats and trash cans through the dining room while we were all eating. My napkin smelled like vomit! We called a manager and he seemed annoyed that we were talking to him. I'll eat there again but in the day for lunch when they still have energy.

One of my favorite Italian places in the area. The go to dish here is definitely the Chicken Parmesan. My favorite by far. A lot of seasonal dishes as well. Large portions with bread and olive oil before hand. You'll never leave hungry.

Went to Biaggi's for mothers day and it was crowded but we had reservations so they got us right in and we had a wonderful side booth. The waitress was pronto and the bread was wonderful as usual. I was extremely disappointed about the change in their menu. I used to love the cod, it was taken off the menu. The waitress said they added a lot of pizzas. I don't go there for pizza! The pasta dishes that we had were fine. Nothing to write home about but fine. This used to be our go to place for anything special in our lives I don't think it will be any more, it was just nothing special.

This was my third visit to Biaggi's, this time for dinner. The previous two times I've been were at lunch time and I will note that they have some pretty decent weekday lunch time specials. Nice portions at the right price. A few things to mention. The service was good. Our waitress was attentive and when I asked her for a wine suggestion to complement my entree, instead of saying "I don't know" or suggesting something perhaps NOT awesome, she offered to ask the bartender and even offered to bring over some tasters of a couple different wines. I really appreciated that!! We shared a cup of the soup special: sausage and potato soup (also had some veggies). Very tasty and actually big enough to be shared, which was nice. We ordered the butternut squash ravioli and the osso bucco (lamb with veggies and home made gnocchi) as entrees. Both were delicious and we even had leftovers! It's not cheap (mine was $14 and his was $27) but it was good. Just don't go expecting a cheap meal. Just like Arnold says...I'll be back!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
