Great food! I ordered the Jack Benny and couldn't have been more satisfied with it. Excellent recipe and perfectly cooked. Looking to nurse my hangover from exploits the night before, I ordered an Irish Coffee. It was not very good (I tried to give it about 3-4 sips to make sure I wasn't just not used to it), but the manager took it off my bill when I couldn't drink it anymore. Seemed like they put too much Creme de Menthe in it. I actually am unfamiliar with Irish Coffee with Creme de Menthe in it. The traditional way is 1.5 oz Irish Whiskey to about 4 oz coffee and some fresh whipped cream (not the can obviously hehe) on top. Still, thanks to the manager I left happy! It's hard for me to justify going to a breakfast place because, well, breakfast is usually easy to make, but the way they make everything just a little fancy makes it worth it and it was a very enjoyable experience. Service was great and the food was excellent!

I am very sad to say that Le Peep has discontinued the smoked salmon omelet and the herb polenta. I came in one morning having craved it for weeks, and it was just gone, off the menu...poof! I ordered a breakfast burrito instead which was good, but I was still very disappointed. I can get a breakfast burrito anywhere. It seems the higher ups have made the decision to remove many of the items that made Le Peep a unique and different dining experience that stood out from other places. The Boulder location also removed the items from their menu. A very sad day for me indeed, and I know I'm not alone. The waitress even said she felt so bad because so many people wanted items that were no longer on the menu anymore. Bring back the smoked salmon omelet Le Peep... Your customers are waiting for it! But in the meantime, I will go somewhere else since you are basically just a generic breakfast/lunch restaurant now. :0(

I love this place. Great for kids - they get that when you need your check, you need your check. Know what I'm sayin'? GREAT FOOD! Everything that I've had, I'd have again. Good AM alcoholic drinks. But, don't get the cafe au lait if you like caffeine. It's more lait than cafe. One item I didn't like - definitely 5 stars.

Awesome food! My boyfriend and I like to brunch here often :)

Great service and atmosphere, but the food is average.

Always have a good experience here. Great food and good staff. I really enjoy the Benny Goodman. The only reason not a 5 star is the coffee sucks. I know it's an usual assumption that breakfast diners have crappy coffee, but why? How hard is it to brew decent and stronger coffee? Either way, love this place.

After a long day at the DMV we went there for a late breakfast. Loved the egg white omelet. Fast and great! Also my husband loved the biscuits and gravy.

I don't think there was a manager on duty when we came in Tuesday the 21st but if there was, that is very sad because we had the worst service of any restaurant I have ever been! Our server only have two tables, the place was not packed and there were plenty of staff lingering around not doing a damn thing. The food was ok, I ordered the Jack Benny, it's no Snooze but it's decent. We waited 35 minutes for our food, a table that came in after us got their food 15 minutes before we did. Our server was sitting at the bar eating and chatting up her co workers. So my guess is she forgot about us and our food was probably sitting in the window. Once we got our food our server never asked how are food tasted or if we needed anything. Which we did need NAPKINS and WATER! But our server was still ignoring us and eating at the bar. This place sucks will never return!

Slow to get our food, but it was pretty tasty and good for kids. They also have a gluten free menu which is great and the pancakes still taste good!

    Biscuits and gravy? yes please!

It was nice, clean, friendly service, great food, portions are huge, reasonable prices. Don't expect fast food prices, but it's worth what you pay for a good lunch, $25 for lunch for two with drinks. Great entree salads, loved the house dressing, great sandwich! Down a star for the side salad. If you're going to serve a pick two entree on the menu, customers expect one of the two to be just as good as the other, for example, when you order a salad and sandwich, the salad shouldn't just be a pile of lettuce with no toppings (carrots, tomatoes, cheese, etc) -- it's just garnish and a half sandwich at that point. Everything else was great though, I would go back and order a hull sandwich or full salad!

I've experienced better, is right. Le Peep in Boulder is so much better then the Longmont location first off. Second off, why can't anybody there make based eggs when I ask for them? I had a pick up order in which I repeated one entree, three times, to TWO different people and I still didn't get what I asked for. The first time I called I wasn't provided with a time to come in, I just got a repeat of my wrong order and then a " Okay see ya later." Its like, "OKAY?.....BYE???" Call back a second time talk to someone who still gets the order wrong almost didn't tell me when to come in and did not provide me with a total.

Yummmmy! I have tried numerous items on the menu and they never disappoint. From the gooey buns to the oatmeal to the huevous rancheros, everything has been quite tasty. The location is not huge and sometimes we have had to wait but they are accurate on wait times. I've never waited more than 20 minutes. It's well worth the wait. If your looking for a yummy brunch or breakfast place in Longmont, this is the place to go.

I'm glad other people like this place, but it seems totally mediocre to me. Considering they have a rather extensive menu, I'm always surprised that there isn't much that looks that appealing to me. I've gone a few times and the food just hasn't been memorable. It seems like it might be a good place to bring kids as there were certainly a ton of families there. People have stated that it feels like a mom-n-pop joint, but it feels more like a Cracker Barrel to me. For the prices, I'd rather go to Lucile's in Longmont, pay the same amount, and have a really delicious meal.

Just like most chain restaurants service was mediocre at best and food was as generic as you can imagine.

It was ok. Overcooked scrambled eggs. Everything else was ehh.

  • Darren O.

Terrible. Everything is overpriced for the quality of food you receive. No actual butter is used in this facility. Everything is margarine, cheap mouth-coating oil. The potatoes were cold, the pancakes were crumbly, the "hollandaise" was more like yellow mayonnaise. To top it all off, the bill was as much as a good restaurant. Never again.

Le Peep has gone downhill in the last couple of years. We went there last week and everything tasted bland. The potatoes were the worst and that's usually the favorite part of the meal for my kid. The biscuits used to be homemade but now they looked and tasted like they were frozen biscuits.

Let me start by saying I REALLY wanted to give them 5 stars, but I am typing this on my iPhone and that is part of the issue. I ordered a vanilla Carmel latte, was VERY hot and tasty. I ordered a Big Wheelin' which comes with French toast, 2 pieces of bacon, 2 eggs, and potatoes. Eggs- great, light and fluffy (I order scrambled) Bacon- delish!!! French toast, nicely cooked. Potatoes- slightly dry and warm (ie been sitting) and some bites were REALLY salty It is a pretty big portion, I only hate half and was FULL. Nice foil to-go container so you can oven warm your leftovers. Food- 3.5-4 stars While they advertise free wifi, I couldn't connect to the signal. Very irritating for someone trying to have a working breakfast. [okay I pulled out another computer and that one was able to connect, bumped from 3 to 4 stars. It is a small 5" screen so I am limited in the work I can do, but I still couldn't connect on my netbook] Service, my waitress was happy to share her favorites with me. Absent like I prefer because I am enjoying the remainder of my latte and working on my computer. In all, I would come back but be warned, $8.39 for my meal (without latte) is on the pricey side for breakfast!!! I see they have several $4.95 lunch specials so I may pop back this week to check one out.

I don't think it's too bad, but I won't come again. There are better places for brunch. French toast and latte. French toast is not better than the on I had in the office cafe. Latte has no taste. Don't know why it's so crowded in the morning.

I enjoy visiting This LePeep. Plenty of parking, roomy inside, and good service. I enjoy sitting at the bar, sipping on a latte and an order of gooey buns. If I order a full sized breakfast (big enough to share for sure,) I usually get one of their skillets. Not sure about other LP restaurants, but they make particularly yummy smoothies at this location.

Thank God Ihop was too crowded this morning and we left (rather than wait 15 minutes for a table) and ended up at Le Peep. I've driven by this place for years and never gave it much thought, but breakfast was definitely great. I had Huevos Rancheros, and they have an awesome, spicy (real jalapenos were spotted!) sauce, savory black beans, and eggs eased over to perfection. The chai was delicious. My kids gave rave reviews to the sausage and biscuits (they consider themselves connesiours of what I consider a heart-attack waiting to happen) and the pancakes (light, fluffy, and huge). This may be a chain but it has a mom-and-pop feel that feels good. Goodbye Ihop (YES!!!), and hello Le Peep.

My husband and I were from out of town, but we wanted to try a good local breakfast place. The restaurant doesn't look like much from the street; it's located in a strip shopping center, but once we walked in, Le Peep was cozy, warm, and inviting. The menu is extensive, and they even have a gluten free section. I ordered gluten free french toast with eggs on the side and hashbrowns. The food was delicious, and I'm not usually a big breakfast food fan. Everything we saw in Le Peep looked delicious. If we were Longmont residents, I would say we would definitely make Le Peep one of our regular breakfast joints.

Yum! Great big portions of delicious breakfast foods, great coffee, and even a few great lunch items (we haven't tried many, as the breakfast is always fabulous). Love their "eggs in a nest" dish (eggs in French toast). They have really good omelettes, too. Mmmm.

Le Peep is arguably the best breakfast place in all of Longmont. Their egg dishes are really good. Big portions - so bring your appetite. I love the "Hen Pen" - a standard breakfast fare of eggs, sausage (mmm, the sausage here is great), potatoes and side toast or banana bread. Try the banana bread. The cooks here seem to take great care in preparing fresh tasting food - and the presentation is outstanding. I like how they bring you a carafe for ice tea or water (and sometimes even soda), or a thermos of coffee - help yourself to the drinks. The lemons in the water is an added touch. I hear their smoothies are great - but I have never tried them.

Very impressive local lunch / brunch place in Longmont. The meal commenced with a standard but nice cream of mushroom soup, homestyle. I also ordered a berry yogurt smoothie, which complimented the meal nicely. The main course consisted of an avocado / bacon omelet, with a side of potatoes and a banana nut bread. The avocado sauce was spicy but not too spicy, and the eggs were fluffed perfectly. Fresh stuff all around. Decor was typical diner decor, but certainly comfortable. Fresh pancakes my friend had; one can get their choice of normal or buckwheat flour. Great breakfast place; I'm looking forward to trying their other egg dishes.

I was really pleased with this place. I didn't really expect a lot, but they definitely have the breakfast, brunch, lunch thing worked out. As the name seems to imply, the owners have a chicken fetish. The wicker lamp shades are shaped like chickens, there are pictures of children hugging chickens on the wall. Generally a odd theme, but well executed. When you order a cold drink like water or ice tea, they don't just bring you a glass, but they bring you a glass and a carafe. I think this is great as they don't have to interrupt you to refill your glass. The portions are large, but not the enormous piles of food you get at a lot of places today. I had the Ultimate BLT, which was just a BLT with mayo and melted cheese on top. The sandwich was good, though a little hard to fit in my mouth. The side salad was better than the sandwich in my opinion. The only thing that bothered me was you didn't know the procedure for paying. I saw 2 other tables holding their check and credit card and just looking around for the server. It turns out that you use the register at the coffee bar, but that just isn't obvious for the first time visitor.

Great waitstaff bump the rating from a 3 to a 4. It's a yummy breakfast, and I go often, but it's not like Lucille's or Q's where you go out of your way to bring out-of-town guests.

Went to Le Peep for lunch, service was good and the place was clean. The food was just OK...nothing to talk about.

Came back here again recently with the in-laws for breakfast. They have cinnamon rolls in the front that are really good and I recommend trying one (warm if you can). The meal I got (spinach omelet) lasted for two meals (take-home box) and was filling. I also tried a bloody mary (not good, way too much ice and not enough alcohol - ask for no ice if you want it) and the others had a variety of foods. I think this place really is a 3.5, as I mentioned before, but this visit I'll give it a 4 since the service was faster and the waitress was friendly. It's probably one of the top 4 breakfast places in Longmont and I've never had to wait.

well, it was okay. service was good, and pretty fast, but it got pretty busy by the time we left around 10:30, and there was a line for paying the bill. Not a big deal - line went fast. My husband liked his eggs rancheros, but certainly didn't rave about it. It was fine, good, but nothing over the top. I had stuffed french toast - which was tasty. again, nothing spectacular, but a little better than average french toast (although not stuffed with that much ricotta). I ordered a chai drink - it seriously tasted like hot water with froth on top - was the worst chai I've ever had. It was Mt. Sun Chai mix I guess. Even Oregon Chai would have been a huge improvement. I sent it back, hoping somebody just didn't put enough mix in it, but it was pretty much the same second time around. Tasted totally watered down. Big disappointment, as I look for really good hot chai, esp. in the winter time. You will need to find a restaurant that makes their own mix for something really good, but it's not here. Wish they had a bigger drink menu, but it's really just the basics. Overall, the atmosphere is homey, and kind of cute with fun wicker hen lamps hanging from the ceilings. Kind of cozy, and better than I expected. they even have a little outdoor patio - which was full at 9am. I don't know that i'll be running back, but for a decent (not "fabulous") breakfast, it was fine. Wait staff seemed friendly and attentive, so that is a plus.

Very nice breakfast selection. Service was interesting mix of excellent to completely incompetent. I arrived early and without distraction of other diners, the waitress was good, but once I needed to pay the bill and a few other patrons had arrived, I practically had to set the table afire to get her attention! Hey, wait-people: What is with the tunnel vision? You can't scan around the room to see if someone is waving a check at you???

Great breakfast spot. I love their skillets & granola pancakes. Their homemade strawberry jam is amazing! Decent price & always friendly staff.

Ordered the tamales & eggs - tamales were great and the green chile was flavorful but not much heat. Restrooms were spotless. Service was very good and the food came out 19 minutes after we ordered. Eggs were a perfect over - medium, although they seemed to be small. Would definitely come back.

I had the Hobo Skillet after an early morning in a hot air balloon for Justin M. and I's 3 year anniversary! It hit the spot and left me satisfied. Justin M. wasn't blown away by the cinnamon roll for some reason though. The decorations are cutesy, too!
