I think this is the cleanest and most politely staffed Old Country/Homestyle Buffets I've ever been to. Allen helped us and was superbly quick and friendly. For lunch we feasted on BBQ pulled pork and pan fried potatoes, mini tender pot roasts, fried chicken, mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli, nachos, and a slew of other little bites. Everything was hot and fresh except the waffle fries and I saw them put new ones out while we were there. Desserts, especially the French silk pie and blueberry cheesecake shooter, were yummy and the salad bar looked pretty good. We will come back for dinner when they open 3 additional cook stations.

I really try to enjoy what is supposed to be a buffet but i have a hard time gutting the food. I honestly think that the food is not prepared or stored correctly. I have never had a good meal from this location and don't expect to. Maybe i shouldn't expect more than what it is "a meal". I've never been to prison but i can only imagine that the food is probably the some in comparison. Service is always nice but it never makes up for the product they deliver. I will never eat at this location again nor will i recommend to any of my friends.

Steak was taken off the buffet. They still served steak though even though it was cut into small pieces (medium well, my wife and I believe not all customers like it) and served with mashed potato on a small pan. I could see that most of the customers were disappointed because we were not able to order steak anymore. Some of the foods are dried. It was sitting there for too long. Must be a not favorite meals.

I'm not generally a big fan of buffet restaurants, but the Country Buffet at STAPLETON changed my mind. Unfortunately the Stapleton location is the only Country Buffet I will bother with. Havana, Park Meadows, Englewood Parkway are all substandard, dirty and feature lousy service. The food at Park Meadows needs to be stirred or replenished. It seems as if nobody who works here bothers to look at the pans and see that the offerings look old. The ice cream area was a mess. What a disappointment.

Overall this is your standard buffet. The service that we received was great! Be on the look out for coupons as I would not pay the normal $11.99 for dinner as it is not that good. They do not know how to make cocktail sauce but thats ok. Also I was expecting fried fish like usual and so was my dad but they did not have it. They have a nice soul food selection but all of the food had been sitting out for a while as I could tell. The servers were great like I said before so I would suggest coming here if you want your standard buffet.

It is what it is, a buffet. Not gourmet, but that wasnt expected either. I really just came for a salad, but dabbled in a few other offerings as well. Nothing was spectacular, nothing was awful. 8 bucks for lunch and I can eat whatever I want is an ok deal though. I was impressed with the service though. Everyone was friendly, I was asked if I wanted a tour so I knew where everything was. My server was good and checked on me frequently and also gave me a coupon to return. I was very happy with the service.

No longer serving steaks even though commercials show steak. Bad customer service at the carving station, she was very rude and does not want to help you.

2.5 stars would be appropriate. Virtually every item served is average. Nothing special but not bad. We go here when we want variety and family members have trouble deciding on what they want. Also, for one price, it's nice to be able to indulge in desert. We visit about four or five times a year and usually leave saying "why did we go here"? Yet, we always return.

This Country Buffet may have re-decorated/renovated, but their quality is still very sub-optimal. Today when I visited for breakfast, I picked up 4 plates before I found one that didn't have old food residue baked on to the surface. I finally settled on one that only had crud on the back. The silverware had residue on it also. I found an "attendant" and said something and she (in broken Korean-English) said, "No worry. they sanitized in our dish washer." The serving area selections were ok, but both the sausage gravy and the chipped beef gravy were the consistency of warm milk. The flavor was just slightly better than water. If I didn't have to attend a monthly meeting at this Country Buffet (or pretty much any other one) I wouldn't darken their doorsteps. Their CEO advertises on TV, saying, "If there's something not right, let us know." (or words to that effect). All I got when I said something was indifference. Frankly, this place sucks!

I was happy to be here and love the revamping of this place since it was on the show Undercover Boss. However the people who were working were not very nice to a group that came in after us. Granted, they were a larger group of about 50 but they deserved the same treatment as us. That is why I am knocking them to three stars because it ruined my experience. I love their food and think it's delicious. I hope they keep being creative and adding new dishes all the time. I will return but I hope the managers focus on handling a rush more with pride and service.

We went here after getting a "We'll Make it Right Card" at the a country Buffet up north. They put the food in dishes and a tile surface instead of steam trays, we're finding that the food gets cold and we just weren't happy with the taste of our food. We used the card at this location, this is a lot better, the food was always fresh, and the management seems to do a good job of running the place, keeping it clean, and keeping things moving smoothly. But, honestly I see these "Country Buffet" commercials with the "new CEO" and I thought things were getting better, not worse. That's how I feel, that many of the dishes are just so-so and really not as good at they use to be. The only things I've really enjoyed, and I'm not picky at all, was the steak at dinner, fried chicken, meatloaf and the orange chicken. Everything else is either flavorless, too creamy, too mushy, dried out or cold. I guess the A/C blowing on you doesn't help in that area either. The variety is, Meh, nothing special. Golden Corral is better.

Anthony Weedo is a liar. The food was way over cooked. It cost $30 for me and my daughter to eat old dry food. I would not recommend it to anyone! If you're in the neighborhood keep driving. I will say that the staff was very friendly though.

Service is excellent!! Food is okay but not bad. Definitely not as good as Golden Coral but not bad. Had a coupon so for the money good.

I went there for lunch. The food was pretty good until I saw some people coughing right on the food!!! After that I just could not eat anymore

My kids absolutely love this place. Every time I give them the chance to pick a place to eat, this is their choice so we have been here several times. One thing that is absolutely consistent is the service. There are a couple of waitresses that we always see and they are simply a delight. I would recommend including drinks in your order because there are a lot of options including milk, coffee, juice, slushees, and coke freestyle. There is something for everyone to eat and enjoy here. My son likes to make taco salads and my daughter always wants chips and dip along with salad bar items, I encourage them to try something new but I know even if they don't, they will not leave hungry. The manager is ALWAYS present on the floor and you can tell he really takes pride in his job and is eager to please. Such a nice thing to see!

In all honesty-it isn't 5 star dinning but it we enjoyed what they had to offer. I'd comeback again if I was ever in the vacinity. $11 buffet ain't a bad deal if your looking a quick meal on the go. I had the fried chicken and tri-tip steak and it wasn't bad... I'd probably cook it the same way at home so for me was good enough...lol.

This has to be the worst meal I have paid for in years and I paid more for this meal than I have paid for the better meals. $11.99 without drink. Got off to a bad start when there wasn't even any ice in the machine for my glass of water. Want to start with a salad - then you have to round up a plate from another island across the room. I recognized the bowls of jell-o - they were red but no idea whether it was strawberry or cherry, sugar free or not. I soon found out it was just as well that it wasn't labeled because many other items were mislabeled. That pot roast sure looked like chicken to me. The steak was full of gristle, I have had better instant mashed potatoes, and I can't remember a time when I haven't finished a bowl of ice cream because it didn't even taste like ice cream. At least the brownies were fresh and good.

Took the kids for breakfast buffet. Not impressed. The food was tasteless. Someone doesn't know what salt is for. Nothing was really hot. That bothers me. There is rhyme or reason for the way the food is arranged. Like foods should be together. Not saying the staff wasn't pleasant just hard to understand what they are saying. A very unpleasant experience. We will not go back. P.S. we have eaten there several times in the past. I don't know what happened but it is obvious they are cutting costs on food and staff.

All the food was very good, with exception of the white gravy and the cheesecake. Told the general manager about the gravy and out of the blue, he says our next meal is on him. Even before that, this country buffet is hands down better than all the others.

Got a coupon thru email that was good for M- Th and made out to this location. Buy one and pay only $2 for 2nd person was the catch. We are not much of a buffet person since we always end up eating more than we should. Little did we know that Thursday was kids night and the whole place around 6 pm was crawling with kids of all ages. From the time we paid for the meal till the time we left, we were very pleased. our cashier was friendly, our wait person was even friendlier and the guy at the grill was very courteous. During the idle time I can see the cashier manning the cotton candy machine, our wait person grabbing balloons for kids. Our table hardly had old dishes. It was taken away very quickly. Food wise, it had the usual offerings and plenty of steak and roast beef and even noodle grill station. Very nice dessert station too. Fresh baked cookies with milk or cake with ice cream topping is awesome. Even though don't like the idea of paying extra for soft drinks, price do include iced teas, coffee, cappuccinos and milk. As expected, ate more than usual but glad to see the staff working hard trying to accommodate the needs of customers. For a buffet restaurant, i will give 4 stars overall. *** don't forget show your appreciation in $ to the wait person for their hard work.

We come here every Thursday night for kids night. Kids eat for 99 cents & they have balloons, coloring, cotton candy, & breakfast for dinner. Great family time for a very reasonable price. All 3 of my kids can find something they like to eat & us parents can take our time eating because our kids are so entertained.

Their renovation isn't impressive. Too many signs, for one thing. Like eating in a grade school cafeteria. The place was always geared to families with small kids, but now you wonder when the clowns are going to appear and if you will need a hall pass to use the restroom. They are totally forgetting that adults without small kids eat out too. Apparently, even though they've been through Chapter 11 twice, they haven't figured out that it isn't the kids who pay the tab. Our biggest compaint, however, is that the food was cold. I'd prefer to eat elsewhere, but the hubby has always liked the variety at Country Buffet. Not anymore. They've gone from regular steam tables to bowls of food sitting on a luke-warm tile surface. You can see the steam rising from below the tiles, but the food in the bowls and cute little pans probably isn't hot enough to ward off bacteria. We don't like cold food that's supposed to be hot, and we have no desire to get sick. I doubt that we will go back.

I've been to other Country Buffet locations and I have to say that this one is below average. I mean, it's OK but: * It's not as clean as other locations. It's OK, but I would prefer it to be cleaner. * It doesn't have sushi... * the "hibachi" type of area is pretty limited. You select the kind of protein and they pretty much add everything else. I've seen in other location that you can select ALL the ingedients This place is great with kids. They love the food selection and the deserts. The food itself is OK but not great, as you would expect from a typical buffet.

Kid friendly and very comfortable environment where you can enjoy everyday food. Highly recommended with kids.

This Country Buffet has new management and I say their doing a hell of a job with a new look, new set up and better tasting food and better varieties. The food is fresh and less salty plus the staff is keeping a better eye on the food trays when need filling. The restrooms are cleaner and attended to before it was a cesspool. I've seen cleaner in a POW camp. Food stations are marked clearly and signs indicating what type of dishes are being served there. However this is not the managements fault there are some people such as the Mr. and Mrs. Hindenburg and their cousins the Graf Zeppelin's who insist on eating their food at the food stations. They need to take their hydrogen filled behinds and fly it back to there table to eat with their children the Goodyear blimps. They don't use the tongs to get their food only their hands at the desert bar. If I want to see HOGS eating out of a trough I'll go to the Stock Show. However You must go the restaurant It's great plus bring a long stick to get the hogs out of the way.

We've been here several times for dinner and got good value. The quality and selection reminded me of my time in Iraq; lots of food over cooked. But then we went for Sunday brunch. We went early to beat the churchy people. OMG it was horrible! The food looked like it had been out all night and they had only been open for one hour. Never again for breakfast.

Since the new CEO came on board, it seems that the overall look is better. however, the variety of food has reduced. The quality at this particular restaurant is not as good as before. Chicken all dry. We go there regularly and they've gone through at least 3 different managers in the past year. Not a great sense of friendliness in the staff as well. You get so much more variety and value at Golden Corral!

First of all since starting a wellness kick 18 months ago I have steered clear of most all you can eat places. My wife was out of town and I thought what the heck I'll eat at Country Buffet. As a matter of fact, it was a good choice after all. They have lots of vegetables, a great salad bar, and several grilled items that are actually pretty healthy choices. If you can exercise restraint and avoid the high fat & high calorie items you can certainly eat a healthful meal at Country Buffet. You know the stuff I'm talking about BBQ Short Ribs, Smothered Salisbury Steak, Fried Chicken, and the entire dessert section. This location is well managed and kept very clean. The staff is helpful and all the food stations are well stock with food that is served at the proper temperature. I think dinner ran $10.79 and the drink was extra. Considering the variety of foods available at Country Buffet it is a really good deal.

Very friendly staff, we come here at least one a month. It's clean and you always know what to expect. The menu doesn't change too much and you learn what your favorites are.

OK, here it goes.. I don't write many reviews, but I just had to submit this one. We attended "Country Buffet" restaurant twice in the past two weeks. Both times were very pleasant. The staff really seem to care about how they present themselves. The food for the price is excellent. The serving team really takes pride in keeping the restaurant atmosphere clean and pleasant. The first time this week, I happened to suggest to the manager that it would be nice to have some queso cheese next to the freshly steamed broccoli. He thought it was a great idea. I figured that they may introduce that an idea in the next week. They implemented the change 5 minutes after I suggested it and a line of folks appeared almost immediate after that station. That's what I call fast market adjustment. I'm looking forward to going back! Keep up the good work!

Decent buffet. I always eat too much here. Good meats, great (and I mean great) starches. The potatoes and mac were stellar. Save room for dessert too if you can. With its variety the dessert buffet just begs you to make unconventional combinations. Which we do.

This place hasn't changed much over the years. But over the last 6 months or so the food quality has declined quite a bit. Under cooked bacon. Dried out foods. That sort of thing. It's still a good place for a group. But I think if you go then try the lunch period over breakfast. Especially right at the 11 am hour on the weekend when they shift to lunch. If you do this, the food is fresher and not had time to sit out very long.

Definitely go hungry. For the price (about 15.00 per person) its a fantastic deal. younger kids are less and kids under 2 are free. This was a huge bonus for us. It gave us an opportunity to eat many foods the girls may not get together if dining elsewhere (pizza with spaghetti with fried chicken with fish sticks) As soon as they lose interest daddy can go find something new for them to throw on the floor ( ; b ) This place Should have something for everyone's taste. During our weekday dinner visit the food was hot and fresh, the drinks were cold and the deserts were delicious. Fair priced and kid friendly we for sure will be back. (if they would put in a kids playroom or structure it would be a new favorite place)

When you need to please a crowd, buffet is always your best bet. Although rather bland, Country Buffet serves up a wide variety of "comfort foods", beverages, and desserts, all for one set price. I do find the dessert bar really appealing - you name a cake, they have it, and ice cream too! This isn't the best place for Vegetarians as nothing is properly labeled, and the guaranteed vegetarian items are few and far between. You can't assume that anything is vegetarian in here without asking. That's a real bummer. Although quiet, the clientèle is more of the homogeneous, senior citizen, republican crew, so don't be surprised if you look a little different from the norm and receive stares as a "consequence." (sigh).

We are regular patrons at the CB in Littleton on Wadsworth and quite enjoy that location. Yes it's bland and yes the ambience is less than classy. But for really good "plain food", the Wadsworth location is aces. This location near Quebec and C470 is notably inferior. Both locations share the same close quarters (get a booth if there's one available), and on the bright side they both share the same semi-reasonable prices. But this location's food seemed half-hearted. I typically choose fried chicken and corn for my first trip, and here I encountered fried chicken that was seriously flawed. The Wadsworth location always has plenty of breasts in the tray, and they're always cooked crispy brown on the outside and moist inside. Here in Lone Tree, the breading was greasy and soggy, while somehow accompanying dry meat inside. There were no breasts. The corn was fine. Desserts in general are not my cup of tea but there are a million to choose from and they look lovely. Also why oh why do all the Country Buffet restaurants have such tiny beverage cups?? They're like 12 oz cups or something. Way smaller than everywhere else. I have to say that the staff here kind of creeped me out. The cashier guy and the "waitress" gal (I am expected to leave a tip even though I am doing EVERYTHING myself??) seemed pretty weird and made me uncomfortable. They were friendly but weird. Not my most sophisticated review, but there you go.
