I love Ted's bugers! Beef or Buffalo, doesn't matter, they are all wonderful. I am particularly fond of the green and hot (buffalo, guac & fresh jalapenos). Plus their fries are fresh cut and salty. This location in Southglenn is busy! It is a lot bigger than the one across town in Southlands, so there is less of a wait, but then it gets packed and loud! It is a great option, but definitely not a cheap one. I do need my Ted's burger every now and then, so I will be back.

I ordered a medium-rare bison burger and after a few bites of bursting flavor, I realized it was pretty much completely raw. I immediately mentioned it to my server who in turn immediately took it away and admitted the burger should not have come out that way. I was very polite.... the server was very polite. A few moments later, the manager on duty came over to the table to apologize for the mishap. She comp'd my burger and brought out an entirely new plate. I contended that it was not necessary to offer an entirely new plate but she insisted. It's great to know that excellent service still exists.

This is a Ted's, so there's not that much to say. Excellent burgers cooked exactly how you want them. Meat tastes perfect and even the fries couldn't be better. Located right across from Drafthouse, this is the perfect place to go eat at first.

Meeeee-diocre! Sub par! Skip it! Go to Subway! Hmmm, where to start? Well, I walked into quite the hysteria at the hostess stand because one of the lovelies got a bug on her. There was squealing and cavorting as a large maimed insect was sent sailing into the dining area. We all watched as the poor bug tried to drag itself off. The staff just giggled and pointed. Hmmm. Big bug on floor, dying slowly, three staff members leaving it there. Minus one star. When we were seated we asked for a booth. There were several open. Miss Lovely the bug victim really did not want to seat us in a booth, leaving us standing, having to ask her partner in insecticide if it was ok to seat us at a booth. She still did not want to do it, but finally, we got a booth. Attitude: minus one star. Once seated, my friend and I noticed the pickle plates they gave us were dirty. Both of them. Did not use pickle plates. We ordered salads, the Farmers Salad, from our server who really wasn't into it. He returned, thumbs deep into our salads (eeeeeeww!!!). My first bite unearthed a gristly fatty cap end of a leg bone with that gross tendon thing hanging off. Done with lunch. I pointed it out to the server, and he just said said """hmmm""" and stood there. I finally asked," well can I have a plate to put this gross thing on?"...." Sure". I put the gross bone thing onto a plate, and HE NEVER CLEARED it!! It stared at me for the remainder of lunch, even with coffee! I quit eating, thoroughly lost appetite. And note, the salad dressing was pure vinegar- no balance to the salad at all. Bluck yuck yuck!! I didn't touch my salad and no apologies or replacements were offered. The salad was $18. Avoid this uninspired amateur suburban restaurant at all costs.

Food from scratch. Yummy Onion Rings. Veggie Burger was a little mushy, but I love that it's house made. Definitely would return. Tried my first Ted's for the Bison. Now that I'm a vegetarian, it still works!

The entire staff has changed, and seemingly as a result, quality has gone down. Have given them multiple chances. It's okay, it's just not as stellar as it used to be. Great service goes a long way in a chain restaurant. They need to re-step up their game.

I can easily say that I've never had a dish from Ted's I didn't enjoy. Recently I tried their bison nachos, holy cow. Amazing. Better than any nachos I've had at a Mexican restaurant! My other favorite dish is the bison pot roast with aunt fannie's squash casserole. Last, I love the crushed ice they put in their drinks. Give them a try, I'd be surprised if you didn't find something you liked :)

Ted's has the best bison meatloaf that I have ever had. Period. Everything about that plate is a shining example of quality food. I have tried a multitude of options at Ted's but I continue to find myself falling back to it. Service as always is excellent. We were sat quickly. I recommend the strawberry shortcake with my whole being. It was the best that I have ever had. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice date night or special occasions as it's wonderful (although slightly expensive) and sets a high bar for similar restaurants around!

This place is one of my favorites when it comes to burgers, fries, ranch, cookies, and booze. I dropped it a star because the burgers can be inconsistent and the beer glasses dirty but it'll always be a burger of choice to me and I'll keep coming.

Ted's is one of our go to places. Nice ambiance and the food is always good - no matter what you order, and we go often enough that we know a lot of the staff. Sometimes we enjoy sitting at the bar right by the kitchen and visiting with the guys working in the kitchen. It is a great place to unwind with a glass of scotch. We have tried many of the items on the menu (burgers, salads, steaks, bison pot roast, short ribs, salmon) and never had a bad one. One of our favorites is the plank Salmon. Nicely cooked with a hint of smoky flavor. YUM! They have several desserts that are definitely worth saving room for - Strawberry Short Cake and Apple Crisp!! OMG!! I wonder why some people hated this place. We have been regulars here for years and it is always good. Maybe they just feel a need to find fault with something... That's cool. they can stay away and leave it to us...

I so wanted to be wowed at a $17.00+ burger. With drinks $65.00 bill was speedy for a disappointing meal. We have been wanting to try it, drove from Southlands and were certainly not wowed. For the price their are MUCH better places to eat a burger.

Great experience! Food was perfect, I had the delmonico rib eye, my wife had a cheese burger. Both were perfect. Our server Mel was attentive without being overbearing, served with compassion and warmth. Iwould recommend the delmonico over anything else, it's one of the best steak I've has in a while!

Saturday is Red Beans & Rice day, and if you haven't tried them, you must as soon as possible. The other item I crave on their menu is the Green and Hot Burger with a homemade veggie burger substitution......it's to die for!

This was the first place my fiance and I ate at after moving here and it immediately became one of regular go-to's. I really enjoy the bison chili; its got a kick and isn't too thick. My fiance enjoys the Burgers here. The Nachos are HUGE and I love that they put the oh-so-delicious bison chili on top. If you sit at the bar, the bartenders can help you pick the best dishes (paired with your drink) and don't act too busy to chat. Fun stuff. Yummy food.

Food was awesome!! Prime Rib melted in my mouth. Service not great! Asked for a booth instead of a stable while we were being seated and ended up in the kitchen. Banging of plates and cups gave me a headache. There was yelling and constant noise. There were several other booths and we didn't need to be seated at that booth. Hostess has a God Complex.....

Came here with a bunch of coworkers- the restaurant was packed and had a ton of energy. The menu was heavy on bison, burgers, and all that good comfort food -the waiter brought out pickled cucumber while we waited which I loved. It was great to have something to snack on without ruining dinner like bread tends to do. Our waitress was very attentive and the bison salad was great! It was essentially a giant green salad with a bison burger patty on top. My biggest issue was when the waitress brought out the drinks- my wine glass was sticky. She was very nice about fixing the problem but I got a little grossed out. Why was the wine glass sticky? Not sure I want to know.

Not the best experience at Ted's a few days ago. The ribeye was not cooked as requested (medium), but was rare and raw in places. Some of the lettuce in the my steak salad had gone bad and was slimy (yuck!). I also found a piece of chicken that looked partially eaten (yikes). I told the waitress about it and she said "all the protein is cut on the same board and the chicken was leftover from another prep." Apparently that was supposed to make me feel better. Hardly. No compensation was offered by the waitress. I reported this later on their online survey system and the management did offer a free meal. However, after talking with others about their experiences here I don't think I'll be returning, even for a free meal.

My husband took me to dinner here for my birthday because he knows this is one of my favorite places! I always get the Montana Margarita which was excellent (again) and the prime rib. We split a wedge salad (they did it for us at no cost) then the entrees came quickly. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. I love the bread that comes with the entree and the baked potato and broccoli was also great! Our server was excellent and very attentive! This is a staple we love it!

Small dining area, but great for business lunches with nice private booths. The bar area is a great alternative if you are in a hurry. Food is consistent and always good. I go frequently, so it would be nice if they would expand the menu a bit. The bleu salad is my favorite. They have the best soft drink ice in town - funny, I know, but I love their finely chipped ice. It is different than the ice you get with water or tea. Burgers are great. The steaks are pretty good, but definitely not up to the quality of high end steak houses. This location also does a nice job on holidays with special menus.

To save you time searching for this place - it's tucked away in the southwest corner of the Aspen Grove strip mall. For me, Ted's has always been a hit or miss kind of spot. My trip to this location was determined simply because they were the only ones open after 9pm in the area, so while they get points for staying open late, it wouldn't have been my first choice. I agree with most other reviewers - the food (especially the burgers) are good, some even very good. They cook their bison a little more well done than you order but that's kind of par for the course these days as well as how bison cooks up. Order one level more rare than you usually do if your getting bison and it'll be more like what you're used to with beef. The problem is the price points. $12 for an unimpressive and dry fish sandwich and $14-$18 for a burger is very high. Comparable meals at specialty burgers places will run you $9. The fries aren't very good, usually over-oily and not fried enough at the same time if that's possible. The beer selection is definitely not one of their strong points. Being down the street from decent breweries and in the same town as some really great breweries, you'd think they would have some good craft beer available but the closest you'll get is the Sam Adams seasonal. The service is usually good and the place is relatively free from rugrats (kids) which is a plus, I just have a hard time getting over the price points.

It was a slow night but Robert was on the ball with his service. Pickled Cucumbers are FANTASTIC! Had the bison burger and was pleased with it. Onion Rings could have been cooked longer, the inside onion part was still a bit too crunchy/undercooked.

Glad I just sat at the bar for 10 minutes only to get ignored. Then people sat down next to us and got service immediately. We will never be back. Pathetic.

The service here is usually solid and tonight was no exception. Our burgers were good but seemed a little less than hot when brought out. The fries seemed hotter than the burgers. Overall, good not great. They could use new straws (trust me, odd straws). We'll be back in the hopes the burgers are brought out quicker next time.

For such an expensive steakhouse, I expected better. The restaurant was so noisy that our waitress (bless her heart, she did her best and really did try) could barely hear us. Because of the noise, I think, she did not do a good job explaining the specials or the choices of sides, so a few of us thought we had fewer choices and didn't get what we wanted. I always go to the restroom after handling restaurant menus because I don't want to get sick, and I was shocked to see that there was no soap in the women's room. Just a dispenser of powder that said "Borax." You seriously want me to use Borax on my hands?? I rinsed with water, wiped my hands with a paper towel (which, if you're so earth-conscious, Ted's, why do you still offer paper towels?) and hoped it would be enough. It wasn't. I woke up with a stuffy nose the following morning. The food was hit-or-miss. Of the six of us, at least four had some sort of issue with our order. One person at our table ordered a sirloin steak medium-rare and it came out rare. Another person ordered bison steak rare, and it came out medium. They didn't complain, though, as it still tasted good enough for them to eat. The only person who did complain sent back an under-cooked baked potato. I also had issue with my potato side dish. I ordered the garlic mashed potatoes, expecting something smooth and fluffy. Instead, what I got where more like "smashed" potatoes, done in a more rustic style, skin on, with big starchy clumps. Needless to say, this did not pair well with my crab cakes, and the waitress should have known that and offered some better suggestions. For instance, if I had known I could have gotten a salad instead of a side, I would have done that. The rest of my meal was EXTREMELY good. Those crab cakes were the best I have ever eaten - not at all salty or greasy - with giant pieces of lump crab meat. Delicious! It came also with beautiful asparagus, blanched to perfection with just enough bite. I tried my husband's steak, which was huge and pretty tasty, though it wasn't cooked to the temperature he requested. All the same, he seemed to enjoy it. I was tempted to give this review only two stars since there were so many problems with the food. But they were minor problems and didn't detract from the experience too much. The under-cooked potato was swapped for another in less than 5 minutes; the steaks were still yummy enough; and I just didn't eat one of my sides, as there was plenty of other food.

Excellent service with great beef and bison meat. We got the onion rings on the side and the loaded sweet and regular potatoes. We had a Malbec gascon wine to drink and it was great with the meats. I loved it. I was my first visit to the franchise. I have visited the state of Montana and I saw it there but I never had a chance to eat their meat. Their bison is superior to all the others I have tried even in areas where they eat a lot of bison. Maybe it was just very well prepared.

Buffalo is for dinner. It starts with pickled cucumbers and the meal moves into a deliciousness of beefaloes. The service has been pretty good the last couple of times I have been and the food is very good. The only reason I didn't give this five stars is because the last time we went, both of our meals were overcooked. However, everything has been usually cooked perfectly and the food is delicious. My only other complain is buffalo is slightly too expensive.

pretty mediocre I love the idea and look, but execution is lacking. My waiter was personable, but disappeared for long periods of time. The whole dining room is right there, so I am not sure where he was. I am loving that they try to accommodate my gluten problem, but for their price point they could get some gluten-free bread. My waiter made a big deal about the temp of the burger, (that will have blood in it), then the kitchen overcooked both meals at the table. (or possibly the heat lamp, since it took so long) There was no timely check back, so on a Monday work lunch, no time to send it back, Just swallow hard on your overcooked burger and back to the office. There is a lot of competition in Littleton for this type of meal, so my hope is that you guys figure it out, you have a pretty room and an attractive menu: Good luck.

Awesome service from Mel! Great ribs and chili..but Mel made the night. On a very busy Friday night, we waited over an hour for the table. Mel made it more than worth the wait. Did you know they serve pickles instead of the old bread or chips or crackers. How refreshing! I was worried about portion size and was amazed that Mel, our waitress, suggested the soup and salad. It was perfectly portioned and being a world traveler, and a chili lover, this was absolutely some of the best chili I have ever had in a restaurant! It brought back memories of my mother's chili which was the best on the planet! It is very good. The spare ribs... fall off the bone mouth full of deliciousness! I was a first time diner. I will return. I will go Thursday through Sunday, because that is when Mel works. Go for the food, stay because of the service and go again because the experience is well worth it!

Had dinner here with my Dad. I had the braised bison short ribs and they were delicious. My Dad had a trout dish and he savored every bite. Service was great and the young lady who served us was a delight. It's not a five star place by design so with realistic expectations you will have a nice experience.

Ate at Ted's Littleton CO Aspen Grove location on Saturday night. The food and service was good. The cleanliness of the floor and the table left a lot to be desired. The tabletop was dirty and several iterations of dishes had dried food on them. Yuk. Nonetheless, they have the very best burgers & fries ever at at lunch. Be sure to sit at the bar for better service.

As we sat down I noticed a John Wayne saying on the wall. It says" Talk slow, talk low and don't say too much." It's hard to follow what John Wayne was preaching. We all talked fast, talked loud and said too much about the bison meal that we ordered. It was that good! I had the Bison Short Ribs with sweet Potatoe fries. The meat was succulent and tender. I was expecting a more of a gamey taste and texture but was pleasantly surprised! The rest of the guys had bison something and more bison whatever. We all loved us some bison! Awesome staff. Friendly and very knowledgeable of their offerings. For dessert we had some freshly made cookies. This location sits on a strip mall where there's nice stores that I'm familiar with. Like an Apple Store! I felt at home right away:)

You have got to try the homemade potato chips and onion dip, and the brownie with vanilla ice cream and chocolate and caramel sauces. Skip the house salad.

First off, no soap in men's restroom. Automatic 1 star deduction. Went here on a sat night about 5:30pm. No booths available. Ordered the bison nachos as an appetizer and a beer. Nachos came out, it was a plate with all nachos & very little bison on it. Basically, paid $8 for 99 cent nachos. Great... Felt like I just got ripped off. Also, waitress still didn't bring me my beer. I had to ask & politely remind I was waiting for a beer I ordered. I got the bison meatloaf & mash potatoes. My wife ordered bison steak medium rare. The meatloaf was good. not fantastic. Serving size was small too. But, at least it was tasty & I'd order it again if I ever went back. My wife claimed her bison steak was good, but still, in her words "this place does not wow me" The waitress was slow to bring out the check. The floors below me were very dirty. Looked as if they had not swept or mopped the floors all day. Tell u the truth, I'd pass this place up. Not worth the price tag.

I had never eaten here before but heard some good things so my husband and I decided to try it for dinner. It definitely was not a memorable meal. The food was average and so was the service. I had the bison ribs. They had little taste to them and weren't as tender as I was hoping. Everything else was just so so. I had higher expectations and they let me down. It wasn't horrible, but I can definitely get better food for the prices they are charging. I won't go here again.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here. Glad we did! We chose a booth seat and on a Monday evening it was still pretty quiet. We shared a cup of potato soup and the burger duo. The buffalo was delicious! Everything was but that really stood out. Very exciting to see a restaurant so earth friendly. We will be back!

I really like the options for lunch, which is when I have frequented this restaurant. The options are great - from salads to burgers the food has been fresh and tasty. It might be a little more for your usual lunch place but honestly, I have not been disappointed so I would rather spend a bit more for good options and tasty food than the usual lunch places that can often be hit or miss.

It had been a good 4 years since I had been to Ted's. The last one I went to was the original in Atlanta, GA. So I was hoping the service didn't get lost in the translation of many stores being opened. When we got to this store I was blown away by the service. Our waiter was helpful and attentive but did not check in excessively. He knew when we needed something and provide it. He also was very kind to our kids, even when we waited a little too long to get them feed. The food was amazing. I love their bison burgers and the best part they split my husband and my food so we could share. Definitely going back and asking for Lenny.

Ted's may be saving the planet by using paper straws, but they are killing their patrons by using a TON of salt. The "salt and pepper onion rings" would more appropriately be called "salt and salt onion rings" - - completely inedible - - so after waiting for 35 minutes to receive our appetizer, we could not even eat it. On to the entrees - we thought burgers would be a safe thing to try - so we ordered the Green and Hot Burger, medium-rare, and the Avalon burger, medium-rare. I'm pretty sure that they cooked the burgers for the entire 30 minutes we waited for them because they were charred hockey-pucks by the time they were brought to us. The quality of the meat wasn't even good - the couple bites we took were full of gristle pieces. At this point after waiting for over an hour to be served a couple of burgers, we just left and went somewhere to eat food that was worth the calories. Oh, the one star is frankly generous given the horrible (all the way around) experience we had - and the only way I can feel ok about having to give them one star is to say that the one star is for the fries that came with the burger. We had a couple and they were decent.

Been to several Ted's, including original in ATL; I've never had a bad meal at this location. Service is decent, and the fish and bison are quality. Front of the house does get loud, so I would echo others that a booth in the back is best. My kids also look forward to eating here.

om, nom, nom! In becoming more of a burger lover & yet to taste Ted's amazing burgers, i came to lunch here a while back....and boy, did i love it! I ordered an original burger [cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo and onion] but with buffalo meat! when my mouth watering burger [and fresh cut fries] was set in front of me, a cute American flag toothpick was put into the top of the bun...making me feel 100% American! The food was not only outstanding, but the service was great too. our waiter was awesome, quick and friendly...i would def return just because of that :) ps. Ted's also prides themselves on being "green" by having local & organic options, in addition to straws made from recyclables :) yum!

Not the best Ted's location I've visited. The service pretty well sucks every time I've gone. Of course I like the Ted's chain generally speaking so I go back from time to time to this location to see if it's gotten any better and it hasn't to date. It's a little pricey to keep experimenting really so I don't go back THAT often.

My family watched every other non minority get seated here for over an hour. If I could give this place negative stars, I would. I told the manager and he did not care. I think his name was Jay. Go to the one downtown. They obviously employee people who are not afraid of families of color.

We like Ted's. Plain and simple. Constant all the time. Tonight I tried one of the entree salads. A great big salad loaded with fresh greens, crisp bacon, shredded cheese some other items and the most perfectly prepared bison burger right on top. Yum-o! My husband had a bison burger with fries and he reports it was very good. We sat at the bar and really enjoyed the conversation with the bar tender. We'll always be fans.

My wife and I started going to the Aspen Grove restaurant when it opened. We have been loyal customers for many years, usually stopping by to get a good dinner at least twice a month. I think it is time to stop going to this restaurant. Not sure what has happened but it seems like it has lost control. We first started noticing that orders would be incorrect (bison for our burger instead of the ordered beef). But now it just seems like total chaos. The last time we were there it took almost 2 hours just for a hamburger, salad, and a couple of drinks. The wait staff was completely stressed out because of horrible kitchen issues. Tonight we went back and it took 15 minutes before we saw a waitress. Then we finally ordered, and it took another 20 minutes to get our hamburger. The hamburger arrived without the fries, the kitchen was out. Also, we did not have silverware or napkins and the waitress said she would be right back with it. Finally, another waitress brought out the fries and we asked her for silverware. She left to get some and after a few minutes I went to look for some myself. I was told that it would be a few minutes as they were out of silverware. Finally that showed up but no napkins. That took another minute or so. I don't know what has happened, but I don't think we can go back. Way too stressful. It was not a very fun dinner.

We went to Teds because so many people raved about it. Apparently the other locations are a lot better than this one. Service was good, and attentive, but the food was not that good, and for the price, you expect more. Good: The burger (green chili or something like that) and sweet potato fries was the best food of the night. Maybe burgers are what to have here. Bad. The steak (beef) was the worst. Barely edible, Tough, extremely fatty and undercooked. They warned us about undercooking so no points off there. The chopped salad was pretty bad and the plate presentations were clearly done by somebody that just didn't care. The rest of the food was ok, buy at these prices, they should be a lot better than ok. I would give the other locations a try, but I wouldn't go back here.

I like Ted's. The burgers are good (my fiance and I like the canyon creek burger - has a fried egg on it - YUM!) I also love the turkey dinner, which is only available on Sundays. Freshly roasted turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce - it's Thanksgiving every Sunday. Whoo Hoo! Oh, and the bison chili is AWESOME!!! I've been craving it for two weeks now ever since my last visit. Mmm...seriously flavorful chili topped with cheese and fresh jalepenos. The service never blows my mind but it's never terrible either. The food is a bit on the expensive side but is consistantly good.

We went to Ted's for a family birthday dinner. We made reservations for 5 at 6pm on a Sunday about a week before. When we got there I saw that they had only 5 tables reserved for the whole evening, so they were not crazy busy. When we got there, the table was not ready. We were seated, and about 10 minutes later someone came buy and offered us drinks, we ordered water while we waiting for the last of our party to show, and asked for a gluten free menu. When the last of our party arrived, we ordered wine and asked again for a gluten free menu. 15 minutes later when the wine finally arrived, we were also able to order our food. Below is the list of things that went wrong when the food started arriving about 35 minutes later: 1. The one order of a cup of chili did not come out with the other starters, and we had to request it be brought out. 2. One entree came out about 5 minutes before the others, and it was stone cold. Reordering resulted in a little better temp, but proved that they assembly line their food, and things like fries and onion rings sit for a VERY long time, so do not order them. 3. The gluten free meal came out with a bread roll, and had to be redone. When it came back, there was no sweet potato, and it never did arrive. 4. The fries on another plate were cold. 5. The wait staff had to ask what the 5th entree was supposed to be, since everyone else had their meals. Which was short ribs with green beans and asparagus. The ribs were good, except that the strip of hard tendon at the base of ribs that you are supposed to always remove before cooking was still in place. The beans were gross, and the asparagus was cold. We never got a refill on our water in the 2 hours we were sitting there. We spoke to our waitress when ordering wine, getting the wine, and when the check was delivered. The only time anyone asked how things were was when the cold meal was re-delivered. No one ever came back until we had all been sitting with empty plates and glasses for 15 minutes. Then someone said they would be back to get our plates. Service was dreadfully slow. This is not a very large restaurant, and inside they had 5 waitstaff and 2 hostesses, along with helpers who delivered food. Their meat was all good - the salmon, 3 burgers and short ribs were all well liked. The sides and the service were the problem. This place obviously has some serious communication problems - the kitchen either doesn't read what is written, or the wait staff are not communicating it. And they all looked absolutely frantic 100% of the time even when the place was half empty.

Sometimes you go to a restaurant and they just do a... fantastic job. Such is the case at Ted's. You have one of those long days, and you want to go and eat and hope the restaurant you select will give you great food and great service. Leonard, the waiter, is a true star. I sit down make a sarcastic comment about Ted's not having Dr. Pepper or Pibb. I order a Coke and a few minutes later Leonard walks up with a Dr. Pepper / Pibb from Panera Bread which is across the street. Talk about being shocked. No one does that. The food was great, I had a rib-eye steak. It was sooooo good. The service as fantastic anyway!!! Add the fact that Leonard went above and beyond the call of duty.... I am a true fan. I will be back and I will sit in his section if he is there when I am back. The whole experience was amazing!!!!

I went here with my family and the food was very good. The atmosphere was very relaxing and a very friendly staff. This is a very high class place. I really enjoyed going here with my family. I had a very good experience here.

Another yelper desribed the "Controlled chaos" here and they are absolutely right. Ted's Montana Grill is an upscale steakhouse and really it deserves 4 stars. But I found the restaurant a little too chaotic for my tastes and the staff was a little too robotic. It has a very pleasant dark ambiance though with lots of dark wood and plush little booths with lamps in. My filet mignon however was fine and I ate it without a complaint ;) I'd go here if you want a nice intimate dinner but can handle the rush around you. P.S The hungry kitten says...Eat the pickled cucumbers...eat them.

Burp. We found this place on yelp while looking for a moderately priced steakhouse for New Years Eve. We paid more than we are used to, $65 including a 20% tip, and it was worth it. I got the beef Del Monico with loaded garlic mashed potatos and broiled broccoli with parmesan cheese. My wife got the bison DM with fries, onion rings, and the broc. The steaks were top-notch and the garlic mashed were great. The broc and fries sides were disappointing. BTW, the bison steak beat the beef hands down! They were both cooked perfectly as we ordered, medium. But the bison was melt-in-your- mouth tender. Our waitress, Bregena, was a sweetheart.

Ted's burgers are rivaled by none. Bison burger with cheddar cheese is what I order every time. Onion rings and fries with a side of ranch make it perfect. :)

Tried Ted's looking for a nice steak... Was not impressed with either the quality of the steak, nor the preparation. The wait staff seemed to be trying hard, but was not the most effective I've ever experienced. Bottom line, below average food, below average service, above average prices = not coming back...

This is, bar none, the best beef or bison burger in town. My wife and I find every excuse to visit this restaurant. They have great soups and sides, too. If you have not been to Ted's you are missing out.

My favorite place for burgers. I love sitting on the outside patio. I only go during the week when it's not crowded. Little slow in seating people. Busier nights stars drop since the hostess situation seems to be the one flaw I've found so far. The waiters I had were always fast, helpful and friendly. Love the crushed ice in my drink. I request it. Nice day, iced tea, good burger, Ted's.

This place is fantastic! Their bison steaks are to die for. Had the ribeye medium-rare and highly recommend it. The bison meatloaf is wonderful, as well. The asparagus is a little oily for me and the broccoli a little bland. But, the potatos and squash casserole are great. Our server, Duke, was wonderful! He brought out our steaks before the shrimp and broccoli were done so that they wouldn't have to sit there on the warmer. A much appreciated act. And, he was the first waiter I ever actually heard say that he would in no way recommend the house wine and that for a couple of quarters more my mother could get a much better glass of wine. The manager made a point of stopping by every table to check up on our service & food. Fantastic restaurant, great food, awesome service!

This is the second Ted's I've been to. The first being the one down in Briargate. The atmosphere is reminiscent to that of the old Denver Buffalo Company. Do any of those even exist anymore? Google, ho! Very large booths with high tops assure any conversation is had with your table alone. Making room for a wheelchair might be a bit of a bother, with my group having a little trouble getting around the tables to the exit after our meal. (Was it the lack of space or our full stomachs? The answer eludes.) A friendly woman tried to seat me and my friend as we entered a time prior to our meal to peruse the establishment's board of fare. Satisfied with the prices (where you'd expect them for a nicer eatery) we walked about the 'Grove until the rest of our party arrived, whereupon we were swiftly seated and immediate thirst was abated. (Full bar! Classy.) It is a great thing that assures you're in Colorado when you see a 'Bison' option next to an item. And there were plenty of them to choose from; Burgers, regular sammies, salads, soups and so on but me and another at my table chose the ribeye (~$20). Hers medium-rare, mine medium. The other with us got the bison meatloaf. (A buck or two more than the regular beef veriety, which is true all around the menu.) Choices of sides were made and the smiling man disappeared to return soon thereafter with more full glasses we could put our (paper!!) straws into. The atmosphere is rather dim but given to the yielding sun of the eve, it should be expected and several topics were discussed before our dinners arrived in whiteplated glory. Gustatory bliss was achieved with my first bite and the other 'mms' about me were signs that my dinnermates were also pleased by the flavors served them. Forks were passed about so that the others may sample what you had and sooner than it had taken to prepare everything was gone. Clean Plate Rangers, all three. A dessert had caught my eye earlier; the Khalua brownie, and thusly I ordered. Two extra spoons were presumptively delivered with my treat, and who was I to deny others a smidgen of chocolate-liqueur glory? A decent tip made dinner about a Benjamin. Alcohol would have definitely bumped it up another twenty at least. A cool, quiet restaurant with some history of the creator behind it. Give it a shot for your next Sunday dinner. I'll get back to you about Tuesday lunch, though.

I think the food is excellent at all of Ted's Montana grills! And the only thing you should order is the buffalo. Buffalo hampburger, Buffalo steak etc...In fact that is all that they should carry on the menu. Service is okay - but the food is excellent.

I used to LOVE that place, but after having not been there in a while I noticed a change for the worse. It wasn't one big thing that negatively impacted my visit, but rather a series of annoyances: 1. They took my favorite beer (Guinness) off the menu; 2. The replacement beer that the talked me into was after all also not available. 3. The condiment tray that used to be on every table is now gone. 4. When I asked for some hot sauce, I was asked which kind I would like. When I inquired which kinds they have, I was told "only one: tabasco." - LOL Ok fine - so why do they have to ask what kind I want if they only have 1?? Duuhh! 5. The bison burger was okay but smaller and not as tasty as in the past. It looks like as if they are cutting corners which negatively impacts the dining experience.

I have eaten at this location several times and as similar posts have stated this steakhouse seems to be in chaos around lunch time when I have went. I went several months ago and just have had time to write the review. However I remember the hamburger I got as being ok but not worthy the upscale price tag. I would give this place a try after looking at the menu online and seeing that they have added some new items. Again though I will probably only go there if there is a groupon, livingsocial, flashmob, etc to entice me to go and make the price tag worth it.

My family and I love Teds and visit often. Excellent food (haven't yet found something there I didn't like), generally very friendly and quick service. No complaints so far! I generally get the same thing (Chili Cheese Bison Burger) which I adore while my wife goes with the Brick Chicken. Both are very good and clearly our favorites. :) My mother has also tried the Crab Cakes and she thought they were wonderful, but I can't personally attest since I don't usually eat crab. Enjoy!

I still absolutely love TMG, but last night's experience wasn't quite up to par. - Not impressed by the hostess who openly nudged her co-worker, said something behind her hand and then giggled when a rather eccentrically-dressed elderly lady entered the restaurant. A few minutes later, a couple who were waiting politely asked how long it would take to get a table, and as they turned away to resume waiting, she rolled her eyes and made a face. Pretty unprofessional. - Ok, so it's only $3, but the house side salad is a rip off. Way too few greens, semi-soggy croutons, and it comes SWIMMING in dressing. Not worth it. - It doesn't bother me that their so-called "buttered broccoli" is never buttered, but it is always, without fail, really undercooked. This time it was hot but basically raw, and also hadn't been drained properly. His baked sweet potato was hard in the middle. - My Delmonico steak had great flavor but was incredibly fatty, and not cooked medium-well as requested. It wasn't SO bloody that I wanted to go through the hassle of sending it back, but it was definitely jucier than I would have liked. I also just realized that I never received the horseradish sauce I asked for. Bah. - Spotty service. The same girl took our order and delivered the check, but the food and drinks were brought by two different people. Not really a biggie, but excellent service is one of the things I like so much about Ted's. On this occasion, it just felt rushed and impersonal. Oh well. I'm sure (or rather, I hope) that this experience was just an off night. We'll see.

For a burger place, it was very good! Had the bison burger with bacon and cheddar cheese. So large, that we split it and felt more than satisfied. The pickled cucumbers as a free appetizer are addicting, not as salty as most pickles. Fries could have been more crispy but when hot, still good. Would go again.

Cool place for a burger+beer. I have dined here just twice. Occasionally reviews can suffer from a bad experience, but that does not necessary mean the restaurant bad. Service and food can have random quality. Fortunately my experiences with Ted's Montana Grill have been good and everything went dandy. I like the bison burger and there are plenty of options regarding toppings. There are other items like steak and even some fish! Prices are fine. If you are tired of the same restaurants and you never been to Ted's, try it.

Service was just okay. It seemed like a busy Tuesday night, so I can understand slower serving times. The thing that makes this hold strong as a four star is the steak. My oh, my. I had it med-rare and it was perfect. Refills were hard to come by more often than not. Overall I would go back on a less busy time of the day (arrived at 7:30PM).

Ted's is awesome. This is the only place to go for a Bison burger. Do not try this at home, you will not be able to make it. Ted's has found a certain way to season it and cook where it is not dry and is so tasty. The pickles you get complimentary are great. Cucumbers in vinegar, I guess? I have not had a bad meal at Ted's, good for lunch, great service. Good place with kids as well.

Delicious coffee and desserts! The atmosphere does remind me of an old bar in Montana - very warm, with lots of woodwork and huge oil paintings of beautiful landscapes. Good food and service; my only reservation is I hate giving my money to Ted Turner! :-)

Our first visit there today. Greeted by a very friendly manager and seated immediately in a nice booth. So far so good. The rest of my review will be in Pros and Cons format. Pros: 1. Paper straws! That was surprising and very fun. 2. Unique menu with a nice mixture of unusual offerings as well as standards, or close-enough-to-standard that everyone should be able to find something they'll like. 3. Food tasted pretty good but not great. My husband did lick his plate clean (he had a HUGE fish sandwich with fries and cole slaw). 4. Bathrooms were nice and they even had Borax soap which was a total flashback to grade school. 5. Nice overall ambience. Cons: 1. The waitress, Drea, took forever to take our drink orders (there were only six or seven other tables in use at the time of our visit, so no excuse). We ordered coffee and water; she said "we brew the coffee fresh but I will get those waters out right now." Six, seven minutes later, still no sign of her. I happened to be coughing my head off so it would have been nice to have water promptly. Finally I saw her trying to load up about 10 different beverages onto a tray so she could service all her tables at once. Not appropriate. Drink orders, water in particular, should come in less than 2 minutes. 2. When she finally brought our drinks, I politely, and in a very friendly tone, asked her "what do we do with these?" regarding a bowl of green vegetables she had plunked down when we'd seen her 10 minutes earlier. "You eat them. That's what you typically do with food." RUDE. I suppose she thinks if she's smiling, she can say whatever snotty thing she wants. Having never eaten at that restaurant before, I didn't know if they were palate cleansers or condiments or what (turns out they're some cuke/pickle hybrid that are appetizers). 3. Both of our entrees were almost impossible to eat due to their size and general messiness. I had a chicken sandwich that came with bacon and cheese and BBQ sauce. It absolutely dissolved in my hands immediately and I was a sticky mess. Completely unacceptable to serve something this messy and unmanageable unless you're in a rib joint. 4. The bacon on my sandwich was almost raw. I didn't send it back because old Drea definitely looked like a spitter. I wound up taking it all off the sandwich. 5. The menu didn't indicate that standard condiments would accompany the sandwich, so I asked that mine include onions. When my sandwich arrived, there was a mountain of GRILLED ($$) onions on my sandwich, and sitting beside the sandwich was the pile of free, comes-with-it condiments (raw onion, lettuce, tomato) (that hadn't been mentioned on the menu). She should have asked me if I wanted grilled or raw -- waitresses ALWAYS ask for that clarification -- rather than assuming grilled and then charging me for grilled. I suppose I could have saved myself the misunderstanding if I had thought to say the word "raw" but the bigger failing was hers. 6. It took much much much too long for the food to arrive, somewhere between 15 and 20 minutes. 7. INSANELY overpriced (though you do get a lot of food). We for sure will not be going back. It's a shame because this place does have a nice feel to it. If the only issue was the high prices, we'd still go back but I'm afraid Drea done lost this place some business.

I've eaten at Ted's about a dozen times; maybe more. Never had a bad meal. Bison is the meat of choice. It's leaner and more flavorful than beef. Whether it's their burgers, shortribs, steak, pot roast or meatloaf, say yes to bison! (fyi, it's not buffalo) Great daily specials like beer can chicken and cedar plank salmon if meat isn't your thing. Ted's is an attempt at a throwback to the early West days with a long wooden bar, copper ceiling, private booths and paper straws. Even the hand soap in their restrooms is that scratchy powder in a pump glass jar. I've always had good luck with service. Kids love the Wikki Stix. Tip on burgers: if you do go with the bison, don't order it well done as it will be dry. Their waiter should tell you that medium is suggested.

We went into Ted's to try something new as we live in the area and have never been. We sat at the bar because the the dining was full and didn't want to wait. First half was good, we ordered our drinks, apps and food no problem. We got our apps and a side salad great. Everything tastes wonderful. Our bartender was checking in on us doing a "ok" job. Then came our entrees I order the steak salad my boyfriend the bison. They dropped our meals off but didn't take the empty plates sitting in front of us. So i moved then in front of us to the edge of the bar thinking the bartender would take them on his way back.... They sat there for 10 minutes. He finally came over to see how the food was and took just one plate away. At this point the other plate was starting to stack up with garbage. The plate sat there the entire meal. They weren't busy as I looked to the other end of the bar the bartenders were just standing around. Finally came time for the check which took another 10 minutes. Over all I'm glad my food was good because that's the only thing that saved this place. My boyfriend not a fan as all the sides he got with the bison were cold. I would probably not go back as the prices do not reflect the quality of service. When I go to a "pricier" restaurant I expect a certain level of service and this place did not have it. Totally failed in the service and experience.

I Never turn down a chance to go to Ted's, because this place is Amazing! If you are going there not planning to eat meat, you can still eat great and not left feeling like the person who pigs out on the breadsticks. First off, when first seated, they bring a small bowl of a unique flavored pickles. They are very good-not tangy, too salty or bitter. We eat them up so fast the waiter is bringing a refill everytime he comes on a visit! I do care for the Wedge salad, as it is better than other wedges i have had. Oh and the fries are not bad either. Thick, not oily or too salted. If your going for a burger, I recomend the Blue Creek. The mood in Ted's is barely lit, almost always full, and never boring. It is great for groups, but as for dates, it is kinda loud, but you will be so into the food that it'll be worth it.

yum yum yum. my friend and I went here with his mother for our weekly Sunday dinner together. unsure of where to go after a day of shopping we headed down the shopping row. It was fairly priced for what they served so we sat down. our waiter was super amazing. unsure of what to get we asked him what he thought was good and helped us order a great meal. my steak was cooked perfect and was super yummy. a win in my book. my friends mother enjoyed her meal enough to want to share it with the both of us. our waiter was amazing and on top of refills as well as having our food out on time. the only thing i disliked that gave it a 4 star was the lighting. stupid it may sound you try eating in what felt like a dark room light by a single candle. it was dark enough i counldnt tell which steak was mine or my friends. so all in all...go here in the day...and eat everything

I've been feeling pretty generous lately with the stars - not sure if I was getting soft or just eating at really good places. Well after lunch today at Ted's I remembered what not so great food is like. We went to Ted's for a nice business lunch. OK, we were seated quickly in a nice booth. So far, so good. Decent atmosphere, not too loud with the exception of the surprising number of kids and moms but hey I'm OK with that. Things really went downhill when our server showed up (and I like to give service people a lot of slack). He proceeded to give us the automaton spiel about the what appetizers we needed to order. It just sounded weirdly unnatural and a little pushy. Pickles are great! Now for the meal. Since I was with customers and I don't often ask for bites of their food even though my curiosity is killing me, I can't comment on the other items. I can tell you that my Cesar salad was mediocre, bottled dressing, no Parmesan other than what was in the dressing. I asked for anchovies with the Cesar and yes it came with them but they were hard wadded up balls. I love anchovies and did not eat these after the first bite. My entree was the buffalo meatloaf. The meatloaf was OK but strongly seasoned with a salty flavor compound that had a gravy mix flavor to it. That nice tender skin that you like on a good meatloaf was more like a rhino skin. Made me wonder about how old this was. To top it all off (literally) was a "gravy" which was a thick gelatinous sludge. Again wierdly salty, with uneven heating (signature of a microwaved meal). It looked more like brown jello out of a can rather than a gravy. After scraping it aside the mashers were acceptable. My customers burger looked OK, the pickles are OK, they refilled my Arnold Palmer frequently, but my meal sucked - so two stars.

Very bad. Service was awful and food took 45 min. 3 plates! The manager did comp but only after we tracked them down. I hate giving bad reviews but when you have so many choices for a Sunday afternoon and then run into a place where they just don't care. Oh and the burgers are between $13 and $15 dollars?! So bad.

Myself along with 3 friends ventured out last night in the snow for our own Christmas party, since we all hate our own company Christmas parties each year. And since we decided against trying to fulfill our reservation at Cafe Prague in Morrison, we drove around trying to find a place that wasnt too crowded and chose Ted's. The atmosphere was dark, but well lit. There's a nice long bar on the left as you enter and the staff overall was pretty friendly. Our waiter was ok, he kept telling us, "I have this, I have that" in regards to the menu and the evening's specials and it was rather annoying. I did have a problem w/ the silverware on our table. I dont know who does their dishes but when you put a half drity knife and fork on the table you immediately begin to lose out on your tip. My fork was greasy to the touch and the knife had looked as if it had never left the table from the previous patrons meals who ate there. I did ask for another set and was brought out a cleaner set. I had never had buffalo or bison, whatever you wish to refer to it as, so I decided on the 8oz bison tenderloin filet w/ sides of garlic mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. When the waiter brought our food, I will say the presentation left a little to be desired, but the flavor and tenderness of the bison filet was incredible! Dont even worry about using steak sauce, there's really no need for it. I can honestly say that I dont think I've ever enjoyed a piece of steak more than I did last evening. Order it medium rare and as our waiter said, "you can cut it with a butter knife" and that was certainly true! I finished off my meal w/ the Kahlua fudge brownie topped w/ vanilla ice cream. Very good though hardly any taste of Kahlua. Despite a slow start on our evening with bad silverware and an initially annoying waiter, once the food hits your table, everything in the world is right again.

I really hate to only give two stars. (Now reduced to ONE star - see below) In past visits, I've really enjoyed this location. However, we had a bad experience here last evening. Our party of 7 sat outside on the patio, and were promptly greeted by an over-enthusiastic waitress - who persisted in calling us each "hon" and "darling" and "sweetie" at the end of each sentence. After a subtle counter-jab, I expected the unwelcome endearments to end - but alas, she didn't take the hint. That wouldn't have earned the two stars, if our meals didn't take FOREVER to arrive. And the one in our party who ordered a salad received it with no dressing. When the manager stopped by, we asked for the dressing but were met with a confused stare as if he didn't know why anyone would ask for dressing for a salad. Finally caught on, and salad dressing arrived. Entree's took far, far longer. We overheard the server telling another party that the "kitchen had crashed" - whatever the heck that meant. Also, our conversation was difficult due to extremely bad behavior of a child at a nearby table. Can't blame Ted's for that - except that once it went on long enough (a kid swinging on the patio gate causing it to bang loudly enough to stop all conversation), we would have expected the manager to step in. Ted's is ordinarily one of my favorite steakhouse chains, so I'll return and hope to edit this review in the future. *update* - had to take away another star. The bill had been split on two credit cards. Just found out that although they brought two charge slips for signatures, both the one given to my friend and mine had been charged to my card. Really bad screw-up!
