Hungry. Sadly, that's how I still felt after dining at this location of Il Vicino. The lasagna wasn't bad. As a matter of fact, it was delicious. The problem was it was small. So were the slices of Italian bread, given out one at a time, without any lubricant (butter, for example). I put some olive oil on the bread, only to find out, SURPRISE!, it was infused with hot chile pepper. And I mean HOT, something I don't normally eat. It was a two-Prilosec afternoon for me, that's for sure. The restaurant is a hybrid: order at the counter, and the wait staff will bring you drinks, food, and bread. The decor is earth tones, with l lots of corners and few round objects. I like earth tones, but not feeling boxed in. They have a lovely outside dining area; however, it is not exactly scenic, facing a 50-year-old motel (that was used to house inmates at one time) and Santa Fe Drive. You may be able to catch a glimpse of the mountains, but don't count on it. If you are mobility impaired, those of us using canes or wheelchairs can easily move about. That is a major plus in my book. Will I go back? Between the prices, the small portions, the almost inedible olive oil, the atmosphere, and the fairly sterile atmosphere, it is unlikely.

Ive been to a couple Il Vicino locations and particularly love this location- they always have the nicest and most attentive wait staff. Plus the food is wonderful- I love the pizza and salad combo with the Rustica pizza and the Spinach Ensalada.

Went here last night for date night with the hubs. It was definitely good but not my favorite wood-fired pizza. I wasn't quite sure what to expect but it definitely has a fast casual type atmosphere where you order at a counter & they bring your food out when its ready. This definitely makes it a little more laid back than your typical sit-down eatery but more fancy than a greasy pizza dive. I felt that almost all the pizza options were almost the same but with just a different meat or veggie - nothing super special that made their pizza stand out compared to other places I have been. We ordered an individual pizza and one of the dinner specials - pizza, salad, & drink. I think if we did it again we would just split one pizza and a regular salad. The pizza was good - I'm a huge sucker for the type of dough/crust and this one was a little thin for me but still pretty tasty. The service was decent. I felt like the gal at the counter was really trying to upsell us - which I understand is her job - but it is still a little annoying. Our food came up super quick - less than 10 minutes after we ordered which was great. The gal was quick to check our drinks and brought us refills which I was surprised with b/c its set up more like a place where you would get your own drinks. I would definitely come back if I was in the area - we don't live in Littleton and the only reason we were down here was to see a movie down the street. It also would be a great place to take a family when we have kids.

This place has a really good selection of personal pizzas and salads. There are so many to choose from. I ordered the pizza and salad combo and it was the perfect amount of food. The caprese salad is my new favorite

Consistently great customer service every time I'm here! They open the door for you when they walk in, extremely friendly staff. Great pizza and salads too. Love the spicy oil.

The pizza here is very good and reasonably priced too. My friend and I shared a DaVinci pizza and a calzone. The employees their are absolutely wonderful. They make their pizza on an open fire and you get to watch them do it too!!

The pizza here is pretty good. The pizzas are on the small side, but the crust is perfectly and evenly baked and the amount of toppings are decent. I recommend the Pollo E Pumante pizza. It goes great with their spicy oil. The second runner up would be the Angeli. I'd definitely come back to try their other pizzas and sample the pasta dishes they offer as well.

Excellent service, food, and atmosphere. . I'll definitely come back. That oil on the table is delicious. Wood fire pizza done right!

My favorite local pizza place! A pepperoni & Double house salad, no tomatoes is the perfect meal! I've been coming here for about 12 years.

Skip the humdrum fondue shack up the road and stop in here ( It's not 1977, ya know.). They changed names, but the menu remains the same. Fantastic (!) wood oven pizza and their house salad has been a favorite of mine for almost 20 years. Their prices are reasonable and the service has been consistently fine. If you consider yourself a fan of a good pie and you haven't eaten here yet, I'm just not sure what to think of you.

I've been coming to Il Vicino for years and they are always consistent in terms of food and service. The concept is similar to Noodles and Co or Panera - a high end quick serve concept where you order at the register up front then take a seat and wait to have you food brought out to you. I've tried three or four pizzas here and all were good. If you like goat cheese, I recommend the Bianca. If you don't, try the Rustica or the Testarossa. The pastas are also good, though less unique and remarkable than the pizzas which come on a thin crunchy crust. As the previous reviews mention, if you like a little spice, you should definitely pour a little of the pepper oil on you pizza or pasta to kick it up a notch. They'll come by after you finish your meal to ask you if you want dessert. I would recommend either the flourless chocolate cake (very rich) or the profiteroles if you're in the mood for something a little lighter. They also serve wine by the glass or bottle plus homemade rootbeer. If you like sweeter rootbeers like A&W this probably won't do it for you but if you like a beer that's heavy on the root (think Barques) then you'll dig it.

Love this place! I really liked their former self, Il Vicino, but the new ownership/name is great. I'm able to order what I use to and it tastes the same, if not better. The staff are wonderful, the wait is minimal, and my daughter enjoys playing with the ball of pizza dough while we wait.

I didn't know what to expect. It's a pizzeria. It's a small restaurant chain. It's "noodles co" style service. Went in. Ordered. Sat. a few minutes later. Pizza. Salad was good, Pizza was better. Service was quick. Nice, open environment, friendly staff. Decent pie for a restaurant surrounded by chain fast food type places. Beer & wine help.

Linnea D.
Friendly staff, fast service, a great place. My only complaint - the pizza had 0 sauce so it was like a cracker with cheese. We were disappointed in that.

I really enjoy the location of this restaurant. There's a Starbucks, Panda Express, Dickey's, Subway, and more all in one neat clean little strip mall. I sort of wanted Dickey's but my bf decided we should try Il Vicino. We both had side salads with gorgonzola, which were good for side salads. He had the Bianco Pizza which had goat cheese, portabello mushrooms, onions and really thin prosciutto. I had a flatbread sandwich with turkey, goat cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo and caramelized onions. It was huge! I couldn't finish all of it, although I might have been able to if I had loved it. Pretty much everything I tried was mediocre. And I thought the prices were a little high for what we got. The service was fantastic though. Everyone, and I mean everyone, in that restaurant said thank you as we exited--even the cooks in the open kitchen. It was actually a little annoying after the sixth "thank you."

Decent beer and we happened to love their wood fired style pizza. We thought it was a sit down service restaurant. If go into it knowing it's only slightly better than a Chipotle or Pei Wei type atmosphere with solid micro brewed beers (made by Il Vicino themselves) then you shouldn't be let down.

The pizzas are skinny and delicious, and that's how I like 'em. The house salads are really good. I wanna go back right now!

I love Il Vicino! One reason is their consistency. I never have to worry that the food will taste different than last time, so Its my safe choice when I can't decide where to eat, or I want something fresh and not bland, but not overwhelming. The pizza is so good! It is NEVER greasy or dried out either. You can get a "for one" or group sizes. The salads are also super. My favorite salad is the INSALATA PESCATORE If you want to share a fresh, pizza for between $6-$9, in a nice sit in atmosphere then you won't be dissapointed.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed this place yet. My hubby and I go here so much that the staff recognizes us; a few weeks ago our waitress surprised me when she asked, "Did you cut your hair? It looks great!" We really loved the Il Vicino in Albuquerque so we were pretty excited when we found one here in Littleton. I've had the calzone, which is delicious, but my favorite is the pizza. The pepperoni is great, but if I'm feeling sassy I'll have the Rustica; nothing like artichoke hearts and capers on your pizza to make you feel like a big girl. Hubby loves the Salsiccia. I enjoy their spicy pizzas, and the spicy oil, but unfortunately they don't love me, which is too bad because I really do like the Gamberoni with tasty shrimp on it. The salads are good too, I'm partial to the Insalata Pescatore, which is full of salty goodness. I've never had dessert here although it always looks tasty, I tend to be too full at the end. I'm not a big wine-drinker but there seems to be a nice selection of wine and some beer too. All in all, good service, excellent food, and a favorite here in Littleton!

Ordered some Panino sandwiches to go based on a recommendation from work buddies. Not good. We opened the boxes and the salad was all mushed up with the sandwich, making the salad a sad lukewarm and the sandwich was soggy sitting next to the lettuce. And the other sandwich was not what was ordered. Will defiinely not order from here again. I don't recommend this restaurant.

Leave it to the experts .. Il Vicino know how to cook your wood fired pizza just right, your salad is super crisp with a fresh slice of bread and the profiteroles are excellent!! For those of you that do not know what profiteroles are .. I suggest you drop what you are doing, drive or walk to Il Vicino and order some .. its a dessert, so you have to eat all your food first :p But I promise you, you will love it! My favorite pizza is the Bianca with extra portbellos, it has just the right amount of heat on it too :) The staff is friendly and its a great place for a relaxing meal at the end of your day!

Always delicious and consistent when I go... Great and fresh flavors too. Beer and wine. Salads, calzones and lemonatas, an overall great menu. Prices are reasonable, salad, pizza, dessert and a beverage comes to about 30 buckaroos for a couple. Make sure to save room for the tiramisu or chocolate cake!

This is a place my parents love! They finally took me here and I can see why. The place is very clean and tidy. The staff is oh so friendly and they are more than willing to make any requested substitutions. I have gone twice now and each time a great experience. They have awesome pizza (of course) and their calzones are also amazing! I recently got the chicken pesto panini and it was very, very delicious. All freshly made and with care you can tell with every bite. Their root beer is so tasty too - only gripe is that they don't put ice in the glass...or even on the side (I'm not much for slightly cold or room temp drinks). They have a cute little outside patio area which is quite enjoyable. I would highly recommend this place - great food, great service, great experience!

Having shamelessly eaten at Il Vicino so often I should probably be put on the payroll, Nevertheless, I regard their wood oven cooked pizza the best to be had in the "old town" Littleton area. While you can have the requisite pepperoni and marinara sauce pizza, live a little and try some of the more unusual topping combinations on these smokey flavored pizza crusts. Whatever you choose to have, DO NOT LEAVE the buidling without having their Caesar salad - the best dressing anywhere AND the profiteroles: incredible puff pastries filled with chocolate goo and covered in white goo. So tasty, so sensuous that it's criminal.

Well, really not on my diet, but was invited here by a new friend. The staff was without a doubt one of the friendliest groups I have ever encountered. Attentive and always at the table with a smile! We were here relatively early in the day and the restaurant was entirely ours...kind of interesting scenario for a first semi date. My only desire was a little more of an intimate setting (so I couldn't hear only us within this very high ceiling building), but overall very impressed. The food was very light and they have a fantastic menu with many healthy options. I would like to go back in the evenings, can imagine the wood-fired stove is beautiful to see at night.

This is one of my favorite places to have lunch. Even if it isn't advertised at the restaurant, Il Vicino has a lunch special for $7.99 - you get a small (personal sized) one topping pizza with a delicious house salad and a drink. It's such a great lunch for the price! Plus, you get to partake in the world's best spicy oil, which is located on each table. It's such a treat - I absolutely love dipping my bread and pizza crust into that amazing oil!!! Oh, and one of the best things about Il Vicino is that the employees come around with freshly grated parmesan and pepper. It's awesome!!!

This is a great place to eat. They have a special between 3 and 5 that lets you get a great custom pizza, a salad and a drink for around 6 dollars. That is a good price, but it is the pizza that is the treat. Not greasy. Not heavy. Unique flavors. Not at all your normal pizza. Try it. In the summer they have a nice patio. Forget the patio this time of year. Randy B.

This is a nice little place staffed by friendly people who seem to like working there. The pizza was very good and at a fair price. The only change I would make is to have the wait staff take orders. But I had a pizza and my friend had a calzone and both were excellent. We will be back repeatedly.

This is a great Italian pizza place with a good atmosphere. We went there with some coworkers last night, and all 5 of us were happy. It's a good set up for groups that want to pay separately, because you order and pay at the counter, and then the food is brought out to you. But the atmosphere is more similar to that of a typical sit-down restaurant than to that of other counter service places. I ordered the Bianca pizza and a house salad, along with their in house root beer. What a delicious dinner! I loved the root beer, and I am happily enjoying the leftovers of my Bianca for lunch as I type. We did not order dessert, but it looked amazing so I definitely want to try some the next time we go. And I absolutely intend to return!

My husband and I stopped here to order pizza to go and have a quick glass of wine before a soccer game at cornerstone. Service was amazing. Pizza came fast. And it was awesome. Can't wait to come back.

Great pizza! I love their marinara sauce. It's fresh, none of that pasty junk! I had the margarita style pizza and a house salad. The portions were perfect. I wasn't able to stay and done, but the takeout was super speedy. I'll definitely be going back and hopefully can stay to enjoy the restaurant's great ambiance.

Very awesome service! I loved the plates. Everything was super clean, like noticeably clean. Cute patio for when it warms up. We got the pizza of the day and it was marvelous. Love the melted chunks of mozzarella cheese! I will be back here!

Awful place, they sold the store to a manager there, not sure of his name. He is Hispanic, glasses. While the food is good for being a pizza joint the service was awful, and the owner was present and not very nice to his employees, won't go back.

We've been frequent diners since opening, and absolutely love coming here. Service is always great, and the calzones are amazing! The basil pesto dressing is my favorite dressing, glad we're able to buy a bottle to take home.

This place is great. The service has always been really good and I think the food is well priced. I have recently enjoyed just going there to drink a glass of wine because the atmosphere is nice too. I'm really not much of a pizza guy but I their pizza is tasty. All in all awesome place for me and the wife.

I really like this place. It's a cross between fast-casual and casual eatery. The prices are reasonable, the food is good and the service is really pleasant and professional. I've been here twice so far. And while it feels fast-foody to order as soon as you walk in, the staff soon transform you into a full-service restaurant by bringing your drinks to you and then serving your food. The staff check in on you and are accessible but don't hover. On my first visit I tried the tuna salad. It's a nice, light salad but has canned tuna instead of fresh. Still, I liked it. My friend ordered the chopped salad which looked much better than mine! I appreciate a light hand with the dressing - dressed perfectly. On my second visit I ordered the lunch special which was a house salad, with gorgonzola crumbles and an individual-sized margharita pizza. My entire lunch was $9 - not a bad deal given the quality of the food. While I like my pizza with super-thin crust, the crust on this pizza had a nice flavor (translation, didn't taste like cardboard) and the toppings were perfect. Not too much and not too little. The real surprise was how tasty their iced tea is. Normally I find tea in restaurants to be bland, but this, mixe as an Arnold Palmer, was delicious. They don't have a happy hour ( sad face) which, as we all know, will significantly limit my after work visits, but they do offer some wine discounts. I noticed a special for Fat Bastard Merlot for $7/glass or $27/bottle. This is becoming one of my go-to places for business lunches or a nice leisurely lunch for myself.

I tried take-out from here once; it was only okay. The calzone that I got was huge, but very greasy. It was so sloppy I couldn't finish it. I'm sure the experience would have been different if we'd eaten in the restaurant, but honestly that one time with the take-out was enough to make me not try again.

found my denver pizza place - dough is great, toppings are great, price is perfect!

The $10 small pizza, small side salad (any salad on their menu) and drink combo is a great deal. I ordered a Margherita pizza (3 stars for the pizza, but I know I have issues with pizza!) 5 stars for the spinach salad, and 5 stars for the service. We weren't able to sit outside, as it was too cold. Even though you order at the counter, it doesn't have a 'fast-food' feel to it. I like that! We'll be back!

Cass D.
I stared at the menu for a good ten minutes (okay... maybe it was more like five and I'm being overly dramatic) but seriously, took a hard look at it and could not come to a decision on any item that sounded appealing. We were expecting a normal sit down restaurant before stopping in, so we weren't aware that this place takes the "Noodles and Company" approach to service. My boyfriend and I later discussed what a horrible idea this approach is to dining prompted by the lack of drink refill we received. The thing is, if you are going to have this kind of dining style, at least let your guests refill their non-alcoholic drinks on their own. Anyways, back to the food; my hero was not good. It was mostly lettuce. I was incredibly disappointed and my boyfriends pizza didn't look at all appetizing to me when delivered. He later stated that he didn't even want to finish it because it wasn't worth the calories. Based on the reviews of other Yelpers I was expecting some great pizza... but at the end of our meal I come to the conclusion that this place is nothing more than a glorified California Pizza Kitchen without the decent service.

Overall, walk in, place your order at the counter, take your number and a seat. They will take care of the rest. Enjoy! Having lived in Albuquerque for a while, I'm really glad that there are Il Vicino's in Colorado. Their food is high quality. Yes, there are multiple locations but it isn't some big corporate chain. They brew all their beers in Albuquerque, and if you are ever down there, check out the IV Brewery Canteen. It's their super neat brewery tasting room. They serve up a wide menu of items. They have soups, salads, pizzas, paninis, pastas and desserts. I love the pizza, salad, drink combo. You get a half salad, smaller sized pizza and a drink for one low price! My favorite salads are the Il Vicino and Pescatore. Upgrade your drink to a root beer or a beer. They have spicy oil at all the tables, which is great for dipping bread, pizza crust, your fingers (I kid!) into. If you are in the mood for dessert, try their flourless chocolate cake. Decadent, rich and delish! As a bonus, their service is always great and they have a nice patio.

Just moved close to downtown Littleton and decide to give Il Vicino a try last night. Service was awesome - watching the staff I could see that they enjoyed being there almost as much as I did. Our drinks arrived at the table the same time we did. The micro brew Root Beer was smooth as silk. We had a Cesare salad with chicken - ample size and tasty. Both pizzas were tasty- the pepperoni and the #9 sausage, mushrooms and very good. The crust held up well and I tried some of the spicy oil - a nice change of pace from a typical olive oil. Based on the amount of families here with kids after their sporting events, this is a favorite in the area. We'll be going back again soon to try other things on the menu soon!

I absolutely love this place. So much so that my friends and I used it as our weekly dinner meeting place for a year and a half before changing. The pizza is my favorite. It's made in an open fire oven right there where you can watch and when it comes out they serve it to you right away. The server has a cheese grater and you can have fresh grated parmesan cheese if you wish. I am not overly fond of the regular pizza sauce they have but they have three different kinds. I really like the balsamic sauce. And of course their famous spicy oil is fantastic. I crave it when I haven't had it for a while. The wait staff is attentive and friendly and we actually got to know them after a while which was pretty cool. Overall if you haven't tried this place I highly recommend it. If you find you like it get a punch card. After 10 pizzas you get one free so that's pretty cool.

Yum yum..the best pizza we have had in a very long time. Love the thin crust and no grease on it.

Absolutely love this place! Wood fire pizza had fresh ingredients and they even grade fresh parmesean on the pizza...delicious! My 5-year old asks to go to this place and we live a good 40 min away. You order & pay at the register but the restaurant has a nicer feel (not like an old fashion pizza joint). Also the service is exceptional!

Delicious! Il Vicino has a huge variety of wood-fired pizza, sandwiches, and salads. Service is fast and friendly, and they have this amazing spicy oil that will taste great drizzled over your crust. With fresh ingredients and amazing flavor, it's hard to find better pizza anywhere else.

My husband and I ate here last night. We got the Valentine's special for $35 which came with 2 entrees, 2 salads, a dessert to share and 2 alcoholic beverages, without the wine and beer it is only $30 if you want soda. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. It was pretty good. I got the Da Vinci pizza and the house salad and my husband got the lasagna and the caesar salad. My pizza was good and a little spicy. The salad was good but not great and my husband really liked the caesar. He said the lasagna was good but he had better, but he still liked eating it, next time I think he will get a pizza. If you go here definitely get a pizza, that is what they are known for. Wine selection was poor but my husband liked his honey wheat beer. The dessert we got was delicious! I can't remember the name but it was puff pastry filled with a chocolate mousse and topped with white chocolate cream. Yum! Atmosphere was nice, we stayed and talked for a while. Service was good, make sure you bring cash to leave for a tip since you pay for your food up front, and if you are like me, don't like leaving a tip before you get your service. One Pizza will not feed 2 adults so don't share. Maybe 2 children. Overall I gave it 4 stars because I want to go back and try some different types of pizzas.

"Please come to"...North Carolina - we miss you!! My wife & I recently moved to Cary, NC after 14 years in Denver, and what with the two of us having lamented the loss of one of our very favorite restaurants time and again, I just had to write a review to say - we miss you, Il Vicino!! Your wood fired pizzas are to die for, especially the Margherita with marinara, mozzarella, and fresh basil, with a little roasted garlic and Italian sausage added to make it so-o very perfect. And your Insalata Della Casa (er, um, house salad), fuggheddaboutit! Seriously, such a simple salad, but that dressing, oh baby! I used to even buy a whole bottle just for my salads at home, and now that you're gone (er, well, I guess it's me that's gone ;-) ), I can't find anything I like that's even close! I love that Littleton location, too - very nice, relaxing atmosphere, especially the outdoor patio. Service always excellent, very personable. And Ed, the manager? Simply the best! Just had to share the love with all the folks back in Denver ... order seconds for me, would ya? And get a glass of that house Merlot, it's awesome too!

The food that I have tried there was excellent. I ordered pizza (pepperoni), house salad, Lasagna and it was all delicious and I bought some cannoli's and they were AWESOME some of the best shells that were crispy, light and the filling was perfection not too heavy and not too light perfect! My co-workers were very happy I brought them in. The people were very nice and I thought they had nice decor even if you have to order at the counter what's the big deal? I guess I am used to this because of New York it's pretty much that way everywhere except places like Babbo or Nobu but you know what you are getting into. I like this place it's a neighborhood joint and the food is good so I will be back for sure.

Worst customer service. They continually forget to go items. Then when it's brought to their attention, they do nothing about it. The manager Ashley does nothing to help. I will never eat here again. The food is okay. It's nothing special. It's always cold and bland. Much better Italian around. Try Romanos if you want good food.

Been here many times for lunch and dinner, and have been pleased with everything I've ordered. For me it's a 5-star place due to the large number of gluten free options available - all of their pizzas and sandwiches can be made GF. Staff are super friendly, even last night when we showed up 30 minutes before closing on a Sunday - even I would not have been that polite to me.

Alice W.
We ordered the pizza bianca and salad il vincino. I'm not all that into the crust of the pizza, but my boyfriend liked it. They were nice enough to split the salad for us. It was pretty run of the mill so I don't have much to say about the salad. For dessert, we shared the tiramisu, but it was so bad and stale, we sent it back. We got the profiterole instead. They were better, but that wasn't saying much.

So a few days ago we went to get our weekly pizzas, we were there right before closing. When we got home we opened the boxes and the bottom of the pizzas were charred black! Burnt horribly. With only five minutes left to call and complain, I made the call. I spoke with the manager Lettie, who was very kind and apologized. She offered two of any entree or two more pizzas for our next visit. Two days later we returned, she checked the oven temp and inspected our pizzas, apologized again, and away we went with smiles. Her customer service was beyond good, she handled our situation very professionally. We love to go here. If all restaurants handled situations like this, the eating out world would be a better place. So for that reason, I give a 5 star rating!

You can get the lunch special any time of day or night. It's a one topping personal pizza, a house salad, and a drink. It's awesome. Best wood fired pizza I've ever had and I'm proudly addicted to their spicy oil!

One snowy day my girlfriend and I were looking for something to eat, and we happened upon what looks like a food court that got lost on a desert isle. We actually went there for a sandwich, but encountered such startling levels of stupid we wound up backing slowly from that establishment, and went to the one that smelled best. This is how we were introduced to Il Vicino. Since then it has become our favorite place - the combo deal is amazing; I personally prefer the delicious spinach salad and margharita pizza, but from what I can tell all the pizzas are gourmet quality. The staff has always been friendly and attentive, and never let us see the bottom of our glasses. If we have room, the canollis are fantastic. If we don't have room, they will kindly put them in a box for me, where they are just as fantastic in my own home. I could not recommend this place more.

4 stars is right. Good salsiccia pizza. Good cannoli. The staff was really nice as well, better than most true sit-down places. We got a bunch of stuff so it was a little pricey I suppose. But we enjoyed it and plan on returning.

Very fast device, pizza is good. I like the margherita pizza...simple and good. The smaller size of this one is a perfectly sized pizza for a light meal. Better half got a #6 with sausage and pepperoni, which was REALLY good. I'd recommend giving them a try! Atmosphere reminds me of nice little restaurants in Austin.

I love this place! I've gone twice now. Each time, it's been 10 minutes or less to place my order and 15 minutes or less for my order to be ready. Pretty quick, I think. And most importantly, the food is GOOD! I love the taste of the wood oven pizza. I've ordered pizza both times, and both times I've been happy. I enjoyed my salad too. It wasn't just one of those "fill the space" salads--it was actually really good. I also had the root beer float on one of my trips, and it was good too. All around great place for some good, casual food.

My favorite part about this location of Il Vicino is the South-facing patio. It is always such a treat on warm days. My second favorite part is how friendly and nice the staff is. Third favorite would be the food of course! I always seem to order something a little bit more "different" than everyone else I am with whenever I come here. I do enjoy the Veggie Calzone very much, along with some of the pastas. The best pizza is the Angeli with Balsamic marinara sauce, mozzarella, roasted chicken, portobello mushrooms, artichoke hearts, gorgonzola, and fresh rosemary. Order a small if you aren't so hungry, or order a large if you are very hungry and/or want left overs!

The atmosphere of this restaurant isn't quite right. They sell a variety of nice wines and beers, yet I get a fast food feel in this place. Lighting needs dimmed and more of an elegant seating would get me to stay and have a glass of wine. I had a salad which was huge and well presented, as well as good tasting. My friend had pizza .... Now I'm not a big pizza fan but this pizza was very light on sauce and cheese. Not great for the price. Overall, it was ok. Not a place I will return to.

While yes Il Vicino is a chain restaurant it is certainly one of my favorites. I get this strange warm fuzzy feeling every time I eat there. I would consider it to be on the top of the chain restaurants in terms of good quality service and atmosphere. I really like that you get to order and pay up front, waiting for checks is a serious pet peeve of the hungry kitten's. The pizza is really delicious with just the right amount of toppings and sauce, and the desserts are lovely. I especially enjoy their tiramisu. Please go enjoy your local Il Vicino, you wont be disappointed.

For the money, no better meal can be had than to split a Caesar salad and Molto Carne pizza, with a 22 oz glass of the house brew IPA at Il Vicino. And, even though I'm not generally a dessert kind of guy, I have been extremely happy when Rita insists on ordering one as they are all wonderful imported treats that taste even better than they look. It has become a weekly staple for me and my girl. You won't be disappointed.

I can't wait to come back and sit on the patio. The pizza was delicious and made to order. A crisp, thin crust with tasty vegetables and fresh basil. The salad was fresh and not drowning in dressing. They accommodated 15 of us 45 minutes before closing with a smile. Delightful.

We ended up here when we discovered Dickie's BBQ closes at 9 (9 on a Friday night?? Wow). Il Vicino's looks very warm and inviting from the outside. I thought it was more of a bistro-type place, so I was surprised when we walked in and saw that we had to order from menu boards at the counter. It's not quite as nice as I expected inside - paper napkins, no tableclothes etc. I chose the Angelo pizza and a side salad, he decided on the Salsiccia pizza (both about $8 each). For $3.50, the salad was lame - a bit of Romaine topped with maybe half a diced unripe tomato, and a tsp of Parmesan, tossed in some kind of sour dressing. Terrible. Thankfully, the pizzas were delicious. Mine was rather light on artichoke hearts and portobello mushrooms, but there was a generous amount of roasted chicken and cheese. His had a good amount of pepperoni, sausage and cheese but the tomatoes were horrible. Why do so many restaurants insist on serving such shitty tomatoes? You can tell just by looking they're going to be tasteless and watery. Grrr. Service was poor. We saw our server twice. The guys working the pizza oven were friendly though, and made a point of saying goodbye as we left. While it's not the best pizza I've ever had, I'd definitely go back. I'll be giving the crappy salad a miss though. 3.5 stars.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Great food awesome Pizza service was very good
(5)K M.
This is NOT regular pizza. This is thin crust, real wood fired It is great!!!. If you want so tasty adult pizza then this is the place. We have eaten 5 times and they are consistently greAt I almost never give 5 stars but this place deserves it

(4)Pamela M.
This place has a really good selection of personal pizzas and salads. There are so many to choose from. I ordered the pizza and salad combo and it was the perfect amount of food. The caprese salad is my new favorite
(5)Ashley R.
Consistently great customer service every time I'm here! They open the door for you when they walk in, extremely friendly staff. Great pizza and salads too. Love the spicy oil.
(5)Terri B.
The pizza here is very good and reasonably priced too. My friend and I shared a DaVinci pizza and a calzone. The employees their are absolutely wonderful. They make their pizza on an open fire and you get to watch them do it too!!
(5)Emilee D.
(4)Jeremy S.
Excellent service, food, and atmosphere. . I'll definitely come back. That oil on the table is delicious. Wood fire pizza done right!
(5)Mindi L.
My favorite local pizza place! A pepperoni & Double house salad, no tomatoes is the perfect meal! I've been coming here for about 12 years.
(5)Steve M.
(5)Sarah H.
(5)Lorie S.
Love this place! I really liked their former self, Il Vicino, but the new ownership/name is great. I'm able to order what I use to and it tastes the same, if not better. The staff are wonderful, the wait is minimal, and my daughter enjoys playing with the ball of pizza dough while we wait.
(5)Ronald S.
(3)Linnea D.
Friendly staff, fast service, a great place. My only complaint - the pizza had 0 sauce so it was like a cracker with cheese. We were disappointed in that.
(4)Karli F.
(3)Betty B.
Good food, better desserts.
(3)Adam S.
(4)Seth J.
The pizzas are skinny and delicious, and that's how I like 'em. The house salads are really good. I wanna go back right now!
(4)Sara K.
(4)Elizabeth M.
(5)Nick N.
(2)Julia C.
(4)Jason S.
(5)Nicole M.
(4)S.Eniko S.
(5)Amanda C.
(4)Ang H.
(4)John B.
Small wine glasses. pizza was good.
(3)Randy B.
Randy B.
(5)Joseph O.
Good service and great food. Not to mention a cool location and intriguing atmosphere. Very tasty accompanied by a warm welcome.
(5)Milt S.
This is a nice little place staffed by friendly people who seem to like working there. The pizza was very good and at a fair price. The only change I would make is to have the wait staff take orders. But I had a pizza and my friend had a calzone and both were excellent. We will be back repeatedly.
(4)Cheryl B.
(5)Carrie S.
My husband and I stopped here to order pizza to go and have a quick glass of wine before a soccer game at cornerstone. Service was amazing. Pizza came fast. And it was awesome. Can't wait to come back.
(5)Kelsey T.
(5)Lisa H.
I'd like to see them update their website and correct the spelling and punctuation errors..
(2)Liz S.
Very awesome service! I loved the plates. Everything was super clean, like noticeably clean. Cute patio for when it warms up. We got the pizza of the day and it was marvelous. Love the melted chunks of mozzarella cheese! I will be back here!
(5)B T.
Awful place, they sold the store to a manager there, not sure of his name. He is Hispanic, glasses. While the food is good for being a pizza joint the service was awful, and the owner was present and not very nice to his employees, won't go back.
(1)Brenden C.
Our Favorite weekend (Sunday) pizza joint. Sausage and Pepperoni = deliciousness! I would certainly recommend you try their wood fired pizza. I'm a fan.
(5)Kevin A.
We've been frequent diners since opening, and absolutely love coming here. Service is always great, and the calzones are amazing! The basil pesto dressing is my favorite dressing, glad we're able to buy a bottle to take home.
(5)Troy W.
This place is great. The service has always been really good and I think the food is well priced. I have recently enjoyed just going there to drink a glass of wine because the atmosphere is nice too. I'm really not much of a pizza guy but I their pizza is tasty. All in all awesome place for me and the wife.
(5)Karen M.
(4)Bill U.
Good Pizza. Grateful for gluten free options. Chocolate Torte (flourless chocolate cake with dense dark Belgium chocolate) is awesome! Thanks!
(4)Luke S.
Fresh delicious pizza with their own brand of delicious beer. Walk in order up style, my favorite afternoon spot!
(5)Jenn B.
I tried take-out from here once; it was only okay. The calzone that I got was huge, but very greasy. It was so sloppy I couldn't finish it. I'm sure the experience would have been different if we'd eaten in the restaurant, but honestly that one time with the take-out was enough to make me not try again.
(2)Jen H.
found my denver pizza place - dough is great, toppings are great, price is perfect!
(5)Bonnie G.
(4)Cass D.
(2)Christi K.
(4)ron s.
(4)Adam C.
(5)Chris T.
Yum yum..the best pizza we have had in a very long time. Love the thin crust and no grease on it.
(4)Rebecca J.
(5)Amy W.
(5)Courtney F.

3.5 stars.
