Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Friendly staff, amazing authentic Italian! The lemon cake was heavenly. This is definitely a hidden gem.

Best pizza margherita I've had since Naples. And the wood-oven fired Brussel sprouts are soooo good! The crust is the perfect combination of chewy and crisp. Yum! Make sure the main guy cooks your pizza, though. One of the young girls cooked my last pie, and apparently didn't rotate it well enough in the oven. One side was a bit over cooked, and the other side was undercooked. Still pretty darn good pizza!

Got mozzarella sticks. Tasted freshly made. I got tortellini awesome great amount. My bf got sausage pizza he loved it. Great for all ages. Good parking. Home feely.
(5)Barbara W.
This is our family's favorite pizza place and when I asked my son what he would say about Marino's he answered, "awesome!" They have amazing... everything! Try the salads, try the pizzas, try the desserts we have yet to be disappointed with anything we have eaten there. I have been on a mission to try all the pizzas, my son and husband have yet to make it past their favorite, the Amatriciana. My current favorite is the Bella, newly added to their menu. You can't go wrong at this quaint family owned pizzeria. All the ingredients are the freshest and every order made with care.
(5)Jon D.
Having been to Italy, this pizza is on point. While I could go on and on about the excellent food (you can't go wrong with anything you order) - its the service and friendliness that make you come back for more. Marino himself is very nice, and you feel like part of the family while dining there. This place belongs in downtown Denver! I hope as it grows it doesn't loose what makes the place great.

I am 100% Italian, born and raised in Rome ( previously a restaurateur for over 15 years) and after trying all the pizza this town has to offer I am happy to have found this hidden gem. This place sits in a small shopping center tucked in a residential neighborhood you will need to use your navigation system to find tis place. There is no better Pizza in Colorado than Marino Pizza..! Also the owner Mr Marino is from Rome and he is the chef of this pizzeria. If you really love a true Italian Pizza that is cooked in a wood fired oven then this place is for you!
(5)Alison B.
These picky New Yorkers love this pizza. We've tried about half of the pizzas and loved them all. The Brussels sprouts and salads are great too. The owners and staff are incredibly nice! Overall- great food & service!
(5)Peggy A.
Really good pizza - wood stove makes a difference! Freshly made - homemade sauce. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it is a bit small so plan to relax and wait for your order. If you're picking up your order, it's best to order ahead.
(4)Erin H.
I'm not normally a pizza person. But this inspired me to write to Elizabeth Gilbert, author of "Eat, Pray, Love," on her Facebook page (she responded to me personally, by the way). This pizza is Napoli style, which she wrote about in her book. Finally, I understand how a skinny girl could be inspired to eat two entire pies.
(5)Coffee M.
I had their Margherita pizza and it was the best I have ever had. The oak wood fired oven created the perfect pizza. Topped it off with an outstanding ice cold Moretti draft. As I watched some of their calzones being served I knew I would be back and will probably try one of everything over time. Their dining area was full and people were waiting as I left. See you soon Marino's!
(5)Alma S.
I read previous reviews about this place and decided to try it out. Now I'm debating on whether to be selfish and keep this delicious little gem to myself or share it with all of you. The verdict: I'm sharing. Service was wonderful, felt like I was part of the family and the pizza was the best I've had in a very long time. The ingredients and the quality were superb! We were treated like VIP and we are definitely going back. We ordered a Margherita and a Bella pizza and they were both amazing. We chatted with the owner and his wife, both very welcoming and nice people. Hope you try it and enjoy it as we did.
(5)Cyndi L.
Best pizza in Denver. Toppings and combinations that you don't see elsewhere. The crust and wood fired oven can't be beat. Cozy environment and super nice people. Hidden gem!
(5)Mal H.
Best pizza in Colorado, but watch out for the Jersey girl. She is spunky! The Bella pizza was wonderful. Can't wait to go back.
(5)Sam H.
Hot damn, that pizza was GOOOOOD! Cheap, delicious, and good service, I would highly recommend!! We had a pepperoni and sausage pizza with red sauce phenomenal!
(5)Heidi B.
Tucked away in a small Littleton neighborhood...hands down best kept secret in town!! The Brussel Sprouts are heavenly!! Baked in the wood fired oven with olive oil, seasonings and bacon. The wood fired taste is INCREDIBLE. I also tried the tortellini, the sauce is creamy and light, not too robust. Just amazing!!
(5)Adrienne I.
This place is amazing! It's true Italian pizza! The sauce is delicious and they hand toss the pizzas right in front of you. The wood-fire oven makes the pizza crust taste incredible. Their tiramisu is hand made and is the best I've ever had.
(5)Ryan K.
Authentic Italian Pizza. Marino is straight from Naples, Italy. I love this neighborhood pizza joint because its straightforward, you get what you pay for, and it's neither pretentious nor over the top. I think the pizza is better than that of Pizzeria Locale. Though "locale" is a Naples format and has some of the best equipment and great ingredients; Marino's dough is better. Plus, how wonderful to support a small family. Marino also makes a delicious tiramisu, that's kid-friendly and he has gluten-free options. The place is small, maybe seats 16. Reminds me of Italy. I've been here a few times now, and anytime I'm on this side of town I'll be going here.
(4)Jessica C.
Amazing pizza, salads, desserts. Best in SW metro!
(5)Cory N.
Best pizza in the area! Stumbled upon this little gem and was pleasantly surprised. Real brick oven pizza. Crust is amazing.
(5)David J.
Just wanted to say I have probably eaten at Marino's now about 15 times. The food without exception is always fabulous and you feel like you are with family! When it's busy, enjoy a glass of wine or Moretti while you wait and chat with your neighbors. The pizza and other dishes are meticulously prepared and can take awhile but well worth the wait!
(5)Jeffrey A.
This place is incredible. Tucked into a strip mall in the middle of a random neighborhood you would never just drive through, this is like a top secret pizza speakeasy only those in the know can find. But man I will tell you, this is probably the best pizza in Colorado, or at least the top 2 or 3. The crust is amazing, the sauce is spectacular and there really isn't a bad item on the menu. And it feels great to support a local family spot instead of some chain. Prices are really good as well. There's really nothing complain about here except for it can get crowded on a busy night, but that just means everyone is enjoying them so can't be too mad about that.
(5)Kathi S.
Excellent food and prices...superb authentic Italian. Owner is friendly and welcoming!
(5)M K.
Fantastic food, service & ambience! Delicious pizza and dessert, and they serve wine and beer. Intimate, mom & pop shop feel. Love this place!
(5)Heather B.
What a gem! Such good pizza from a real wood fired oven. Delish & affordable. Worth the trip...
(5)ELLY W.
Best sauce in the southwest area. Service is so-so, so I tried to take off a star. But it's family owned and run and I love that- so I put the star back. The pizza is delicious. So long as you aren't in a hurry, you won't be disappointed.
(5)Barry B.
As I live a few blocks from this restaurant i decided this past Saturday to go and see what the dealio was about it. I soon as I walked in I realized that this place was special. The wait staff was kind and courteous, and helped me in picking out an absolutely fantastic pizza. Along with a piece of tiramisu, the meal was exactly what I craved. I loved the chew of the crust and the freshness of the ingredients! Marino was there and was very accommodating to the questions I asked. Great pizza and ambiance.
(5)Karl M.
If you're looking for true Italian style pizza, this is the place to go! Excellent pizza and great service! The location is a bit odd but you can consider it a hidden gem! Highly recommend to anyone looking for true Italian style pizza.
(5)E-Rock D.
I love that this place is, literally, in my neighborhood! Pretty good brick oven pizza! My only gripe is that they used canned mushrooms, but still good.
(4)Dan K.
Incredible food and the staff is awesome!! If you are looking for authentic wood fire pizza in a cozy setting, look no further!
(5)Phil M.
The pizza was okay. The crust just tasted burnt. I ordered a large and it looked like a small. With a few toppings I paid $14. I probably won't go here again
(3)Tony K.
Went to Marino's last night for dinner and was very impressed. A true Italian pizzeria, they serve more than just pizza. We had an appetizer, salad and pizza and they were all delicious. The Moretti beer on tap was great too. Go with an open mind and try something new...:)
(5)Nick R.
Excellent pizza and the Tiramisu is the best!! You can taste the freshness in the ingredients they use.
(5)Craig C.
As if the pizza wasn't the best already. Try the brussel sprouts. Angela, Grace are also fabulous
(5)Shannon H.
Best, most authentic Italian food around. Do yourself a favor and go here. Go on a week day though. It is a tiny, family run joint and word has spread about how fantastic the food is. All servers I've had been have so sweet and adorable that I just can't get irritated over the long waits I've experienced on weekends. So really, I guess what I'm trying to say is that there is no wrong time to give this place your business.
(5)Andrew J.
Service, service, service. Really bad. Pizza good. Service bad. Was insulted by lady employee due to us asking for ranch sauce for an appetizer. Was 10 minutes after opening time and they still were not ready. Asked us to come back later. really? We did and regretted it. Did not feel welcome at all.
(1)Mana A.
Food is awesome at this place but service is not as good. The restaurant looks like it is located in a shabby parking lot but inside is very cute. Not enough sitting and it's a long wait before food arrives
(4)mark p.
Come down to earth Littleton-ites! This place is good as far as local eateries go but far from TOP TIER pizza..... Wood fired or other.
(3)Brian K.
Great Local Pizza Joint!!! Quiet little pizza place in a neighborhood, as others have said, don't let that scare you. We had brussel sprouts as an appetizer, they were awesome, and the pizzas are amazing as well. Great to have a family owned pizza place tucked into a residential spot in Littleton. Worth the visit!!
(5)Heather L.
This is one of those hard to find gems in Italian food. The owners bring tremendous amount of heart, love, and artistry to simple Italian food. You can tell the owners care deeply about their customers and their food. We may be ruined for pizza forever, as this has become our favorite pizza joint. Sit at the bar, watch them work their Italian magic, and plan your next visit. We can't wait to come back.
(5)Joey M.
Ordered 1 pizza, food never came after an hour and a half yet the 4 people who ordered after us got theirs. Horrible service.
(1)Chris G.
By far the greatest little hidden gem of colorado. Just a nice place to eat with good service and great food.
(5)Tammy M.
Our family of six (with four teens) had a great experience here as we were passing through on vacation. . Service was exceptional. Very quaint. Pizza is authentic and very tasty with many unique varieties to choose from. Italian owners were humble and kind. LOVED it!
(5)Jesus G.
Very delicious pizza. Had to have been one of the best pizzas in my life. The owners were very nice to my fried and I. I want to try out all of the different toppings they have. I will definitely be back to eat here again.
(5)Linda G.
Well dang. That was gooood. So I moved on Saturday and after a 15-hour day (and 25k+ steps on my Fitbit before it conked out) I needed carbs. And comfort food. And deliciousness. I stumbled upon Marino's thanks to a tip on #chowhound and wasn't disappointed. This little hole in the wall in a crummy strip mall has the BEST marinara I've ever tasted and that's saying something. My mom grew up in Brooklyn and learned from the Italian momma's herself. I ordered a small margharita (mozzarella, basil and marinara) plus an app order of wood-fired Brussels sprouts that made my mouth do a happy dance. Had the ample leftovers the next night for dinner. To quote The Arnold: I'll be back. NOM Ps. They have gluten-free dough, too.
(4)Lisa B.
As other reviewers have said...this is in a really weird location. It's in a oddly placed mini-mall in the Woodmar neighborhood, sandwiched between a laundromat and a liquor store. So a little lacking in the outside ambiance. The wood-fired stove really makes a difference...this is how pizza is in Italy...and let's just say I've seen a local Italian restaurant owner enjoying Marino's company after he leaves HIS restaurant. The brussel sprouts are roasted with bacon and olive oil so good that sometimes I get them to go, just to eat. Yeah, I'm weird that way. This is locally owned by a husband and wife and they work hard. However, the wife can be a little off-putting. A few more smiles would go a long way.
(4)Andrew S.
If you like Italian food, go here. If you like intimate restaurants, go here. If you like great service, go here. If you like Fred made food, go here. See the point ;)
(5)Brandi C.
We really wanted to like this place but unfortunately the service was bad and the food was worse. The pizza really has no flavor the crust or sauce. The "hot wings" are baked chicken wings with no sauce or seasoning and the mozzarella sticks were frozen little sticks barely warmed up. To top it all off the appetizers were served on wilted brown ice berg lettuce. Not a place I would go to again. I felt guilty even spending money on the food there. Go to MC's its way better!!!
(2)Chris T.
They have changed to be a boutique restaurant. Full price, short hours, and unhappy owners. I understand being closed a day or two out of the week but when your only open for 4-5 hours is expect you to be well rested and ready to work. The owners are always there and seem to be upset more then they are happy. Despite the fight it takes to actually get food here they still make a great pizza. I used to go out of my way whenever I was around but I think I'll just come by when it is on my way( and if it's even open)
(3)Emily W.
Amazing authentic pizza! Have nothing negative to say... Just wish there were even more toppings! Usually ask for extra just my preference.
(5)Kevin R.
In town for a business trip and was in the area, so I decided to give it a shot. Great choice because the pizza is baked in a homemade brick fired oven and was out of this world. Definitely coming back in the future!
(5)KingKong P.
This is a little Mom and Pop pizza place that you really want to love. It's small, cooks with a wood-fired oven, and serves classic-style Italian pizza. One of the attractions is that you can get pizza here that is difficult to find locally. Pizza with potatoes, or egg, or prosciutto are a few of the choices. However, the charm is starting to wear off. I've been a handful of times now. Most recently, my wife and I decided to try a new pizza. When it arrived, it wasn't at all what I expected. The best that I can put it is that it had about the structure of a pizza made out of cardboard, and flavored only slightly better. I explained to one of the owners (I think Marino's wife?) that I didn't like the pizza. So, when I said that I didn't like the pizza, she actually asked me if I had read the ingredients. Uh, no, I make it point to order sandwiches, subs, pizza's, burgers, and salads by name alone. The obvious answer is of course, yes, I read the ingredients. Anyway the pizza was returned. Afterwards, I had the weird feeling that I was being glared at. I looked up and saw her expressionless face and unblinking eyes staring at me from over the bar. Perhaps it is all my imagination. But, I didn't exactly feel comfortable. Add that to the small service issues like bringing us a little basket of fried dough balls that are drizzled in olive oil without putting any napkins or silverware on the table, only refilling our water when we ask for it specifically, and the fact that the restaurant is located uneasily next to a liquor store and laundromat, and you get a result that equals a low probability of us ever coming back. I might be able to overlook most of these issues if the food was truly exceptional. Unfortunately, I don't think it is. There are other local pizza places where the food and atmosphere are much better . . . in my opinion.
(2)Joe F.
Have you been to Italy? I have, and have looked for a pizza like you get there since. Here it is. This is how pizza is supposed to be. This is pizza before some advertising exec said "what if we cover the lack of a good pizza by putting some more cheese in the crust and then putting barbecue pork on it?" That might be the flavor of the month but the pizza at Marino's is how pizza has been for a thousand years. The dough is fresh and cooked in a wood fired oven. The ingredients are fresh and simple because it should be. When you go take your time. It's family and it's treated as such. Slow for some, methodical for those who appreciate a good meal. Everything I've tried so far is amazing. If you want it cheap and fast call the chains and get the special. If you want an intimate evening in Italy go to Marino's.
(5)Dominick M.
Customer service: 1 Pizza: 4 This is a take out place. I felt like i was eating dinner in my closet. I'm an easy going guy, so it took 3 strikes for me to write this complaint. Told me i was insulting by asking for ranch for my appetizer. 1 the pre packaged marinara sucked and 2 wtf is this, a fine dine 30 dollar a plate pizza place? Asked to move to a table from the bar and said okay but if people came i would have to move. Decided to stay at the bar to avoid the hassle. The table stayed empty the rest of our experience. To finish it off, she pulled the check out from under my pen as I'm about to sign it. Maybe, I'm being nitt picky, but I felt disrespected and that doesn't make me want to give you my money. Bottom line pizza is good, however the service left a bad taste in my mouth. I'll spend my money elsewhere.
(2)Brad K.
If it not for the extremely slow service I would give them 5 stars. It was a very busy Friday night and their sitting area is quite small...5-6 tables and a small bar area. Our waitress was overwhelmed as she had all the tables...she must have been new. There was a steady stream of customers coming in either for carry out or dine in. If they were more efficient with their service they could have moved people in and out much faster. I had to give the waitress my credit card for her to run the bill and then had to go and see if they had run the card...another 15 minutes. Now the good news, the pizza was great...authentic! We also had fried mozzarella sticks which were ok. I will be back for their pizza.
(4)Mitchell D.
Had to edit my review. I feel like in the last 6 months this place has changed. The last experience I had was no good. The mozzarella sticks tasted like cheap frozen sticks. The piZza was undercooked. I really liked this place and had some really good meals in the past from here. Idk I hope it gets better because it was a great place
(2)Heidi K.
This was the best tasting pizza, ever. Prices and staff are beyond amazing too. Small place, great pizza and appetizers. You really can't beat this place for amazing food at outstanding prices!! This is well worth the 20 mile drive a few times a month. Keep it up, you guys have a great thing here!
(5)Lucille Z.
It doesn't take much to make me happy. I've been cooped up all day, studying, and needed to get out. I thought I'd go get a pizza, but I'm sick of the regular places. So, on a whim, I looked at Yelp. How could it be there was an authentic NY pizzeria with so many 4 and 5 star reviews 1.9 miles from my house? It's the cutest little place, only 18 months old. The owners are Italian/NewJersian. It's tucked away inside a neighborhood and you'd never find it unless you lived there or unless someone told you about it. It's so cute and so tiny. I think there were 2 or 3 tables. But it was spotless and it had a real wood fired oven, and the "Bella" pizza is delicious.
(5)Sam I.
This place is the best. Awesome family owed wood fired pizza. I have tried everything on the menu and it was all fresh and delicious. You have to try this small hidden gem in Littleton.
(5)Kirk D.
Really great pizza and Brussel Sprouts. Great little place off the beaten path but fresh ingredients and authentic. Loved the wood fired pizza and friendly staff.
(5)Ang H.
Loved this place! Tucked in a strip mall in the middle of a residential neighborhood, this restaurant was truly a find. I can't wait to go back! My boyfriend and I split a pizza and the brussel sprout appetizer - SO GOOD. I would highly recommend trying it even if you don't like brussel sprouts. The pizza tasted fresh and delicious and was cooked perfectly. They have spicy oil available by request. The meal was delicious and inexpensive. I could see this restaurant becoming a favorite of mine!
(5)Andrian C.
So far I have not made it through the door of this restaurant! We have just moved into the neighborhood and I was quite happy to find a local pizzeria within a stone's throw of our house. I decided to take the dog for a walk and try the pizza place. My plan was to pick up a pizza on the way home after a short walk but when I poked my head in the door a woman who I assumed was the owner looked at me and freaked out that I had a dog. I can't imagine this is the first time she has seen a dog or had one in the doorway of her restaurant but she was incredibly hostile and told me to get out. So I left.... Tonight I picked up my girls from Ballet and since my wife was busy decided to give the local pizza joint another try. We walked in (it was pretty crowded) everyone stopped eating and stared at us. My two girls looked at me and asked "what's wrong Dad?" It felt like we were in some kind of movie where you walk in and the locals all stare at you. The same woman I saw before accosted me and said "we are closed for a private party." No apology. I felt like I was being run out of Dodge. I guess if you like Wild West service this is the place for you but as of today I think I will stick to Pizza Hut. At least I know I will successfully order food that we can eat for dinner.....
(1)Rebecca N.
Just visited for the first time. LOVED the pizza!!! LOVED the family feel and fantastic service from Grace!! She made our night all the more enjoyable! Can't wait to go back!
(5)Dan R.
After reading some of the reviews, I was excited to have some pie! One word, disappointed! Small dining area. The staff was friendly, but not very efficient. We had to ask repeatedly for refills, napkins, etc. pizza was ok. We ended up getting 2, one pepperoni & one blanco. Marinara was decent, crust was crunchy, dough really didn't have any taste. I also think it's poor form to tout your own restaurant on yelp as a customer. I'll stick to South-side pizzeria when I want good pizza in Littleton.
(2)Geraldine R.
Incredible pizza, good wine, great salads, and great pizza, sweet waitresses. Try the Nutella balls or the turamasue for dessert, incredible. Worth the calories, lol. A great fine in a neighborhood setting, order in or take out. It It's the best I've had.
(5)Alison C.
There are no words for how awesome this place is. The service, the food, and the prices are by far the best anywhere around. You would be insane if you didn't try it!!!
(5)Mike C.
Excellent pizza and try the baked tortellini. Reasonable prices and really nice people. Have tried a number of pizza places in the area and this is the best. Closest thing I've found to NY tasting pizza.
(5)Mary T.
Great pizza with really good sauce! Friendly staff. We will be back and recommend it to anyone who enjoys wood fired pizza!
(5)Matt C.
Great pizza, nice variety of unique toppings. Loved the crust, crispy and thin. Can't beat six buck bottle of wine Tuesdays(Sunday too)! Only four tables and a bar top, lucky for us it wasn't busy at all.
(4)Bill M.
Went here for dinner a couple weeks ago with my wife. I ordered a pizza that was supposed to have fresh Buffalo mozzarella and san marzano tomato sauce. The cheese on my pizza was not buffalo and was more like the government cheese on the pizzas at my elementary school growing up. The tomato sauce tasted like generic slop and the Parmesan shaved on the top had blue mold growing on it. Truly amazing! Oh, and they couldn't even bother to cut it either. Second, my wife ordered a pizza that should have had prosciutto di parma on it and if came with torn up bits of lunch meat ham like you get at the grocery. Btw, they charged a hefty premium price for the supposed authentic ingredients. Our bill for 2 salads 2 small pizzas a glass of wine and a beer,SIXTY BUCKS!! And we waited over two hours for pizza! Those pizzas cook in minutes. I was starving so I picked the moldy cheese off my pizza and ate the pizza. The crust was good, the rest was fugaze. But the best part of it all, the 3 days of cramping diarrhea that followed. Only reason I didn't call these guys out while i was there is my wife is pregnant and begged me not to complain. If they could have given us the correct ingredients and withheld the food poisoning, this place could have been a new favorite. Instead I will go out of my way to tell people why not to eat at this place
(1)Cindy D.
What a wonderful little neighborhood spot. Super fresh ingredients and wonderful dough. We really enjoyed our meal here. And the people were super nice. I'm looking forward to the cooking classes also.
(5)David G.
Had dinner there last night, absolutely the best pizza in Littleton, if you like real hand made, thin Italian style pizza and not the typical chain think crust stuff. Tried 3 different pizzas and they were all great, and to top the evening off Sunday is $4.99 Spanish wine night!!
(5)Mary C.
Great pizza. Food was amazing and kids love it too!!
(5)Carol H.
Best Pizza ever! True Italian flair with the pizza being tossed in the air right in front of you down to the wood fired pizza. The wine comes from a Vat, very delicious and fun. The fried pizza rolls for dessert with Nutella on top is to die for. I will definetly be back and with friends.
(5)Tim F.
Can't believe to find a place like this tucked away in Littleton. Marino is very nice, and the food is great. Great wine specials. We went here right before going to Italy, and looking forward to returning soon. Had the mussels, a pizza with prosciutto and arugula, and a very reasonable bottle of wine.
(5)Jenny Z.
Best pizza in Colorado! After finding Marino's on yelp we decided to give it a try and so glad we did. From the atmosphere to the staff to the pizza everything was perfect. We have already decided to make it our go to date spot.
(5)Dave D.
Oh my gosh! It has been a long time since we have enjoyed ourselves so much. Atmosphere was perfect and the food matched. Delicious pizzas that left us with smiles throughout the entire meal. The staff was delightful as well. WE WILL BE BACK WEEKLY!
(5)Marc C.
Wow! You won't find better. If only there were one in Denver. I hope my son has more baseball tournaments down here so I can come here more often.

We have been here at least once a week since we found out about Marino's Pizzeria. If you like authentic Italian pizza you need to come here. Forget about any negative comment that you might find here, because if you don't try it for your self you will never know what real Italian is. This is the best pizzeria in the state of Colorado by far. Simply the best real Italian pizza, calzones and pastries! And don't forget to try the mussels! Marino we wish you the best and keep giving your customers the authenticity of your food and service. Prima categoria!

Gave this place a first try last night. I know they are new so the miscommunication and disorganization showed. I think after being open 18 months it could have been a little better. Pizza had really good flavor but wasn't anything fancy. Mozzarella sticks I could probably do at home from a frozen bag cuz I'm sure that's what they were. Tiramisu was actually pretty good. However for what I'd consider a small pizza by most standards, appetizer, desert, and 3 beers for $55 dollars was a little outrageous. I don't see going back for those prices but maybe.

Super yummy and very well priced. The owner was super nice. I have been there a few times and ordered out from there and each time the food is always amazing!! On a weekend night during the dinner rush, plan on getting there early, since the place gets packed.

As someone who knows a little bit about authentic Italian pizza, this pizza is extremely authentic. It taste great too! Marino really knows what he is doing. It is some of the best pizza I have had in a long time. In addition to all of this, the prices are very reasonable. I was only in Littleton for a summer, but if I still lived there, I would go to Marino's quite regularly. You don't always live in a town that has pizza this good.

Good luck ever getting in. The first time we tried, we were kicked out after intending to order takeout - because our dog peeked his head in the door during a crazy snowstorm. A few months later, tried again and we were kicked out because there was a 'private party'. There was no sign on the door saying so and the open sign was lit. Both times we were met with an extremely rude woman who was very unfriendly. We're done trying.

Just got back from having the best pizza in Colorado I ever had!! Please people stop eating chain crap!!! This is the real deal! I almost cried when I took my first bite. It transported me right back to my grandma kitchen where she made her own mozzarella and dough, she made her own pizza it was fantastic. This brought back all those fantastic memories. Thank you Marino for allowing me to sit at your kitchen table.

Awesome pizza, authentic Italian smaller pizzas. Yummy. Forgot my punch card one day i picked up a pizza and they wouldn't stamp it for the frequent buyers when I brought it back next time..... was silly.

They have the best Sausage Pizza in town. All the ingredients are fresh and the price is under $10.00. They make it fresh in front of your eyes. And the Brussel Sprouts are to die for.

Great pizza, really enjoyed this mom & pop restaurant. The staff was friendly and great service. Very small space but worth the wait! Go there you won't regret it!

We got take out from here and the pizza was really good! It's a very hidden little strip mall within a neighborhood so you wouldn't know it was there unless you seek it out. Eager to dine in next time for the full experience!

Wowza! The best pizza I've had in a long time! I had the cardinale and added goat cheese... Amazing! When you order two pizzas you get $5 off your bill!! We also had the roasted Brussels sprouts as an appetizer; they were incredible and I'm not a fan of Brussels sprouts! We tried the pizzotelle for dessert, pizza dough with Nutella and powdered sugar?! Yes please! We will absolutely be back!
