I have never in my life had such a horrible dining experience as I did tonight at lone star. We were celebrating my mom's 50th birthday and she loves lonestar's steak. We were seated and it took over 10 minutes just to be greeted by our waiter Joey. It took another 10 minutes to get our drinks. (None of which were from the bar by the way, just sodas) he then took for for about 15 minutes before we saw him again. He asked if we were ready to order and we replied yes. He said great I will be back to take your order. 10 minutes later he came back to take our order. He completely skipped taking my order just got everyone else and we had to flag him down before he left the table reminding him he forgot to take my order. 35 minutes later our medium rare steaks arrived. Well, we ordered them medium rare. 1 was medium rare (which was my mothers so thank god her steak was good on her birthday) and 3 were well done. We brought this to his attention 15 minutes later when he came back to check on us. 25 minutes later our new steaks were brought out which were medium well by then. We just said forget all 3 steaks. The manager apologized but didn't take a single thing off the bill. 3 screwed up steaks Twice each and all we hear is sorry? Well, you will be sorry because everyone I know will be told how completely inept you all were at serving guests. Texas road house it is!!!!!!

Your standard fare as far as steak houses go.....good American style eating in a pinch. Will we be back....you bet, the staff is cordial, the food is good, and the prices are decent.

After receiving a $5 off coupon for lunch- I decided to venture down south and give it a go with a Burger. Not too bad- not too good. Service= passable. Nothing special but I did get my food hot so I suppose it could've been worse. Food = passable. Burger better than fast food, a step above Champa Street but no where near the value at full menu prices. Was it worth it? ehh.. if you have a coupon and are in the area check it out.

The greeting was great and warm, but the waiter was smarmy and he did that old pet peeve of mine, drop off the check and never see him again. The décor here is off...a drop ceiling painted maroon? Oh how Texasy. I had a ground steak with mushroom sauce lunch a I counted six french fries, measly portion, but the food was good. My wife had a French dip that was serviceable, the au just excellent. Overall I'm not impressed, hokey office building turned restaurant is my impression.

Plus- Servers were nice. Minus - The food at lunch was a huge disappointment. Cafeteria quality lunch specials. Chicken tenders straight out of the microwave. Limp salads. We won't be back.

I like this place for what it is - a mid range steak house. The prices are fair for the cuts of meat. The staff is friendly and I really like their soups.

Ok, yeah so this is a chain and you expect it to be the same every time you go there. I have actually had some pretty decent meals here. We were here recently though and it left something to be desired. My steak was good. But everything else was pretty pathetic. My sweet potato was murdered. Like way way way over cooked, to the point that it was just mush. Think sweet potato baby food, shoved back into a skin and loaded with butter and cinnamon and sugar. Bleh... The other people I was there with had a regular baked potato and theirs were completely under cooked. My Sister-in-law ordered hers without sour cream and it was loaded up, I had to ask for extra silverware twice, and we had to ask for the drink that should have come with my son's kid's meal. Also at the end my son should have had a dessert with his meal that we were never offered but didn't question it because we were ready to get the heck out of there. So although the meat was decent and I love the smokey smell of the place when they can't even cook the potatoes correctly, it says a lot.

This place is pretty good. We had their Texas Rose appetizer and is was a little too salty but still ok. The side caesar salad was very good!. I really liked the ribs and the baked sweet potato (loaded). The waitress was very nice and accommodating!

I have been here a couple times and it seems like each time something has been wrong...got the wrong burger, didn't get part of my meal, slow service, etc. The food is fine, but doesn't seem worth the risk. I would like to say I won't go back, but sometimes I just want a burger that is close to home and not fast food.

We don't typically eat at chain restaurants, we had a crazy day and we're starving so we decided to pop in because it was close. The food was very good and the service was fantastic! They even accommodated me by making my special drink which wasn't on the menu, that always makes me happy!

We recently moved to Colorado and being from a small town, have been venturing out and trying different establishments. I can only give this place a star and that would be for the bread you get at the beginning, it was quite scrumptious. The waitress was acting super busy but wasn't really. I've done waitressing before myself and am from Texas, so to go to a place that not only acted the way they did which was unprofessional and enjoyed each other's company more than they did taking care of their customers; I'm surprised they have patrons visiting to eat. Our table had food/plates stacked and 5 glasses on the table at the edge, you know where you put it so they can take it? I guess they missed the empty plates and glasses and are ok with leaving their customers to do all the work. If I wanted that I'd stay at home! But no worries after eating the food...I will not ever return. Whomever needs to provide more training to your staff and get them to do their jobs.

I wish I could have given a zero stars but the wait staff was very nice about the whole train wreck of an evening. Recently they changed their menu to match the corporate menu. Turns out that everything good about the place was that they were a test kitchen store. They removed the steamed spinach, every good appetizer they had are gone. Instead they serve a broccoli cheese casserole that consists of uncooked broccoli in a cheese crud that makes both components taste bad. My sister's Chicken Fried Steak was inedible turning her stomach she didn't eat dinner at all after offers were made to comp her anything she liked. It was a pile of grease flavored white slime and a uncuttable "steak". My steak was a giant pile of silver skin that was bulletproof and edible. The bread seemed stale and it was so because we noted through the door to the kitchen, the bread is warmed in a microwave. You do not do that to bread and expect not to break a tooth very soon. I was given a Cesar Salad that was more salad dressing than greens - more of a Cesar Soup that was so oily and overwhelmingly strong that it was inedible. In defense of the waitstaff and management they tried to make it better but it was an salvageable meal in large part because of the what they have chosen to put on the menu. In all the changes are all in favor of flavorlessness and less healthy options. I was a huge fan of this steak house and now I will not be going back for a very long time. I am very saddened and disappointed by their "progress".

Very disappointed. Years ago Lone Star was so good. Now it's just a sad memory of what used to be. I ordered the Delmonico cooked med rare. It took forever for our food to come so by the time it arrived we only had 20 minutes to eat since we had tickets to see a movie. The waitress asked us to cut into our steaks before she left and mine was way over cooked. I showed her and she just stared at me. I told her I didn't have time for them to re-fire it since it had taken so long. So she just left. A minute later the mgr came over. She looked and agreed it was over cooked. Her solution to my $20 ruined steak? A half ass apology and a free app for next time. Horrible customer service. I left the free app card, we will not return.

Food is just ok, Service is usually slow so have patience. Steaks wasnt cooked correctly so had to send it back for extra time on the grill. That seemed to take forever! Ribs are great tho!

My friend and I went here for dinner on a Saturday night. The place was neither crowded nor empty, so that was a good sign I guess. The hostess and our waiter were really cordial, friendly, and all around terrific. This was the biggest highlight of the place - It had great customer service. The food on the other hand was pretty bland. Not only did it take them nearly 25 minutes to prepare two steaks at medium rare, they came out under seasoned and luke warm. How does that even happen?! We seriously wanted to re-season out steaks, but hunger is the greatest spice so we ended up just grudgingly accepting these steaks. I guess my expectations of a decent steak were too much for this steak house.

My boyfriend, mother and I came to Lonestar Steakhouse looking for something new that's close by, and they delivered! To start, our waiter was a man named Dana. He was very nice, patient, super attentive with drinks, and informative of the menu. What we ordered: I got the $12.99 Three Course Sirloin Sensation with the Smokey Bacon Artichoke Dip, Loaded Baked Potato Soup, and a medium-cooked Bacon-Wrapped 8 oz Sirloin with broccoli on the side (gotta love bacon!) My boyfriend got the 12 oz New York Strip with a baked potato on the side and a Caesar salad. My mom got the Classic Sirloin Dip with fries on the side, and a house salad. We all agreed on sharing the Bacon-Wrapped Potato Stack appetizer. The first couple appetizers came out in great time! First up were the bacon potato stacks, and they were delicious. Those alone were enough to make me want to come back! Next, the bacon spinach dip I got was was awesome. Shortly after, my boyfriends Caesar salad, my moms house salad, and my cup of potato soup came out. The soup was great, very thick, rich and creamy. My mom enjoyed her salad, and my boyfriend deemed his "okay", with "a mild, slightly watered down" dressing. "Then again," he said, "they aren't a salad joint." The pacing between appetizers was very nice, and well-timed. I'm not sure if they did it on purpose; it was nice to not be so overwhelmed with everything coming out at once, or having to wait a long period for it to come out at all. Now, the main course! One thing we all especially liked about our waiter is that right away he asked us to cut into our steak and let him know if it was cooked properly. (They were!) This was very unique and helpful, and none of us have ever experienced that at a steakhouse. Impressive. We asked for A1 but soon realized we didn't need it! My boyfriends medium-rare New York strip was juicy, and flavorful. Nicely seasoned, smooth on the pallet, not at all overbearing, and "overall a good piece of meat". My medium bacon wrapped sirloin was exquisite, wonderful, and the bacon added the perfect extra pop of flavor. Each bite melted in my mouth... delicious! My mom loved the dip, and hailed the flavors with good quality. The only complaint we had would be dish-taking... It didn't bother us but it could irk some people. In summary: Excellent service, great food, good times. Not sure why so many people had issues (then again, we went late at night on a weekday), all three of us agreed it was wonderful and we'd definitely go back.

I have been eating lunch here for years and love their food and service. Jake, Natalie and Cliff are awesome. Try the Delmonico ribeye. That is where it is at.

Staying in Lakewood for a conference, and being we all flew in, took a taxi to the restaurant. The atmosphere excellent, and so was the food. Had a 12.99 special, and it all was perfect. The beer was inexpensive and ice cold. Wish I could give a CON about this place, but I can't. The restaurant called a taxi to take us home, and after 20 minutes or so, it still hadn't arrived. So, the manager took us back to the hotel... Really recommend this restaurant.. Everything including the service was perfect..

Food was fresh, but lacked flavor experienced with comparable restaurants. Very very nice staff. Wish the food was better.

Many years ago I thought I didn't like steak. Crazy, right? I know. Even though I disliked steak I loved Lonestar's ranch dressing. Ranch dressing is like crack for my food. I love a good salad with fresh ranch dressing. It is delicious. Lonestar has the best ranch dressing I have ever had and their ranch is definitely like crack. There are other restaurants that have similar ranch dressings, but it just isn't as tasty as the Lonestar's. When I lived in Aurora I frequented the Lonestar on that side of town, but they closed that location. I had to travel out west to enjoy my beloved ranch dressing. I now love steak and live out west, which is convenient because this Lonestar location is nearby. I have visited this location on two separate occasions. The first was a couple of years ago for my birthday. I just had to have my crack ranch on my birthday. The food was really good, but the service was not so great. Five different times we had food runners show up at our table with food that did not belong to us. It was rather strange and kind of comical. My most recent visit to the Lonestar was for Memorial Day weekend. I received a coupon via e-mail for a buy one get one entree free. Um, yes please! I was thrilled that I could fulfill my crack ranch desires and get a tasty meal. When my significant other and I were seated it took awhile to get our drinks. In my mind I thought "Rut roh, I hope we don't get poor service again". We decided to order two meals that were priced the same because the coupon was buy one meal and get the second of equal or lesser value. I ordered a tasty steak, with a loaded 'tatoe, and a salad with crack ranch. My other half ordered the Sidewinder chicken meal that came with two sides. He opted for loaded 'tatoe soup and mashed 'tatoes (redundancy at it's finest). After enjoying my crack ranch salad we waited quite awhile for our main entrees to show up. I didn't think they were that busy. Luckily I ordered a tasty margarita to keep my self occupied during the wait. When our entrees finally arrived my steak was a little over cooked. I asked for medium-well because I don't like my steak to moo, but it was pretty well-well done. I am not overly picky as long as it isn't super rare, so I didn't bother raising a stink about it. Unfortunately, my other half's order must have been lost in translation because he received the Sidewinder sandwich instead of the meal. He was slightly bummed out about it, but he didn't want to bother with waiting for a replacement order to come. It was close enough. After we finished our tasty meal a manager came by and asked if we had any coopins. Why yes, I certainly did. When we received our check we were charged for one of my other half's sides. The waiter entered his meal in as the sandwich (which he did not ask for), and the sandwich only comes with one side. The Sidewinder meal comes with two sides. So even though I had a super sweet coupon we ended up paying $3.95 for a cup of soup. I felt like we got jipped because the server never even asked if he wanted the sandwich or the meal. I would think that if a customer orders two sides you would say "Hey, if you get the sandwich this side is extra" or "Did you want the meal that comes with two sides?" Not a huge deal none the less, but I knocked off two stars just because we always get "meh" service when we come in. I still love their food and I think their prices are pretty darn reasonable for a steakhouse. Plus, they have my beloved crack ranch, and that deserves 5 stars by its self.

The "Lone" Star Steakhouse. How Aptly named. I now have the pleasure of only eating in this "establishment" once. The steak sucked. Our App came after our Steak The service sucked. The clientel sucked. The beer was good though, so they got that going for em. It truely is a Lone Star kind of place. You'd do better at Outback...if they are even trying to compete with them, it's hard to tell. To be fair I did take out burgers there, and they were decent. Although I had to wait on hold 5 minutes to put my order in, and then had to pick it up at the bar, from a bartender who A) Had no interest in helping me and B) Clearly had higher priorities. They could have at least worked in Spaceballs to there theme...that would have been another star...like maybe a Dark Helmet toothpick dispenser and when you pull a toothpick out it says LOOOOOOOOONESTAR!

As far as chain steakhouses go. This was a decent one. My plate was a little on the cold side, like it had been sitting around, but my delmonico steak was perfect. The sides were typical fair.

Attentive service. Good food. Great price with the two dinner special. Went with my family a few times. Had to send the steak back. It was mooing but they gave me a new better one and it was really good. Dislike sending things back because everyone else is done and I'm just starting. Still 4 stars, though. There were charity tickets being sold and I bought one. For a one night Holiday Inn stay and dinner for two. I won and really enjoyed my free dinners and stay at the Holiday Inn.

This place needs some more recent reviews. I haven't been here for a dinner in a long while but I have stopped by for some quick lunch meals. I hope they have more patrons during dinner because lunch tends to be quite slow even during the week. One thing were missing around the suburbs of Denver is decently priced lunch steakhouses. This is one of the few remaining and they are still a very good choice. I typically stick with the lunch sirloin steak and a baked potato that and a drink run just about 12 bucks. If you do your shopping at Sam's Club before you stop by to eat you get 10% off your check which is a really good deal when you take the family shopping and lunch or dinner after. I have had Clifford as my waiter a few times in the past and he is quite good and generally attentive with keeping the drinks full.

I have ate here twice. The first time just a simple burger which was pretty good. This last time i had what would is essentially their French dip called the Classic Sirloin Dip. This was disgusting. First it was drenched in a disgusting foul smelling horse-radish sauce but worse than that the first bite I took I bit into a hard piece of meat with chunks of grisle and had not even been cut up into slivers as one would expect for this type of sandwich. I don't usually eat at Lonestar and in particular this one. I only eat here when I am waiting when I have dropped my car off at one of the service centers close by. Will give them one more chance but I will stick with their burgers.
