Great mexican food and their salsa is spicy crack. I go here quite often.

Friday night dinner out, craving Mexican, and a desire to change it up from our regular haunts. Enter Las Delicias. It's always a concern of mine when I arrive at a restaurant on a Friday night and can get right in, but it was early, so I didn't really give it a second thought. I was a little put off immediately because of the attitude of staff I had interaction with. The hostess seemed as if I was putting her out just by walking through the door and the waiter acted disgruntled when our table only ordered water for drinks. In reality, we hadn't decided if we wanted a margarita or not, but his attitude made up our minds for us. Maybe it was just our server because other tables appeared to be getting excellent service, while we felt ignored. Don't get me wrong, I don't need a server coming by every 2 seconds to see if I need anything, but when drinks are empty, we're out of chips, and have yet to receive our entrees, I do expect someone to come by with replenishments. The restaurant itself seemed OK with the exception of the carpet. It was so worn out and dirty it made me think twice about the cleanliness of the whole place. The food we ordered was average when compared to other Mexican restaurants I frequent, not bad, but nothing setting it apart making me want to go here over another destination. To surmise, I won't make it a point to go back here, but I also won't make it a point not to.

I LOVE good Mexican food! Unfortunately this isn't the place. Salsa was good but entree was mediocre. I had combo with beef burro, cheese enchilada, and chile relleno ... Way too much sauce and the chile for the relleno tasted like it was out of a can. Wife had tostada, cheese enchilada, and taco. Tostada had no flavor and other items mediocre. If you want real Mexican food go elsewhere.

Decent mexican food, just select carefully from the large menu. I had the Tacos al Carbon and thought they were very good. My wife had a Camarones con Queso dish that I wouldn't recommend; the shrimp were just lost in the chorizo. (Although I'll enjoy the chorizo with my eggs tomorrow morning.) While the food arrived in a timely manner, service was mediocre and we went long streches without seeing our wait staff to take care of some basic requests. We'll try again and hope to find some favorites on the menu and a slightly more attentive staff.

The tacos al carbon were fantastic and they serve some of the best horchata around. My only complaint is no free refills on the horchata.

This restaurant experience was ok, but the tacos and tostadas were very so-so. I would choose a different mexican restaurant next time, although the service was pretty good.

I have to say after visiting the Parker location I really had second thoughts about going to this location. But to my surprise everything about about this location is way better from the atmosphere to the service to the food they all get a A+ everyone down at the parker store should have a training day at the Arapahoe & Broadway location. I had the chicken mole with beans and rice and it was spectacular fall off the bone chicken and a mole sauce that was just what I was looking for. I will be back to this location very soon. Keep doing what you are doing because it was all very good.

I went to this restaurant on Sunday early afternoon with my Mom and sister. I had the chicken burrito and was horribly disappointed. (Shredded dark meat that was heavy on the grease and layered with cheese and old lettuce.) The Service was disappointing with an over made-up waitress with nail-fangs. Who had an amazing way of saying the correct things with total indifference. The booth I was sitting at was so saggy that my chin was about 3 inches from the table. I had a Fork that had been warped by a food disposal. And had to hunt down a helpful busboy The hostess, the server and the cashier acted like we were an interruption to their day, not like they cared for our business. I will never go back there. It was terrible.

Three beef burritos smothered in tasty green chili goodness have filled me up on more than one occasion. Huge portions, decent prices. Everything I've tried seemed to have been under seasoned, though. This place is a decent option for Colorado-Mexican.

It's an average Mexican restaurant with average prices. If you are in the area and don't feel like driving to the next restaurant it's a good place to eat~ it has a large dining room so I have never experienced a wait

This is one of the better Mexican restaurants in the area. The service is quick and friendly and the food is great. My favorite is the chile relennos. They provide really good chips and a pretty spicy salsa up front which is nice. This place is also very reasonably priced and kid-friendly. The only critique I have is the breakfast burritos - not that great for the price.
(4)
C M.
Used to have a really great steak burrito. Cubes of steak and beans. They changed it to teeny tiny bits of steak you aren't required to chew. Price did not change. Really?? It's so weird in texture. I assume much cheaper to make.

My wife, whom is a metro area native, loves this place. She used to go up to one in Westminster a lot if I remember right. She was quite excited when I found out there was one this close to where we live. We have eaten in here once or twice, but this is really more of a to go place for us. The food is good, and I've never had bad service either when eating in this establishment or when picking up food. I would have to recommend anything with re fried beans in it (bean burritos, beef and bean burritos, or even a side of beans). These are just the best beans I've ever had. This is not to say the other food is not good... there is just something really special about their beans :)

Pretty good food with HUGE pitchers of margs that are pretty weak compared to Benny's. It was tasty and the chips and salsa were good. Something was wrong with the guac, it tasted like peanut butter. Also, prices were $2-$3 higher per plate than an La Fogata or Benny's. Worth a try to form your own oppinion, definintely not terrible but we won't be going back with all of the options available.

Its been a bunch of years since I have enjoyed Las Delicias. I first got to know their food at their first restaurant, a small, family business in a single storefront in west Denver. I ate and watched as they grew to the next storefront, then the next, and next, until they occupied the entire building. As they expanded to new locations, I kind of fell away. Infidelity with other restaurants. Usually, as restaurants expand to new locations, they lose their edge. Things get sloppy, quality lessens, or other unforgivable things. Well, yesterday we stopped into the Las Delicious on Arapahoe Blvd. for a late lunch. We had shredded beef burritos and a pork platter. Both were excellent. The beef had great flavor and in the 2 burritos not a bit of fat or other filler crap. The pork was melt in your mouth tender and sweet. The green chili was great and the salsa tasty as ever. Over the last 20 years the quality, taste, portions, and family atmosphere have remained excellent. Well done.

Service was awful! I will never eat there again, friends talk it up like it is the best place ever but I am not seeing it. Tried it twice and both times were very unsatisfying. Starts with a long wait (15+minutes) after being seated before a waitress came ( and the place was not busy). Brought a small bowl of chips that were never refiled. The food was barely edible and other than ordering and delivery of food and check never saw the waitress again (both times). Got my go to enchilada plate ( which I gage all Mexican restaurants by), the special was ground beef but I wanted chicken so got charged the full dinner cost (though it was lunch service). They were overpowered by a too spicy sauce. Choked it down, never got a drink refill, waited for check and got out of there.

We eat here often and always have a good experience. The food is your basic Mexican food - nothing too special but always good and reasonably priced. The staff is always very nice. I really like that we hardly ever have to wait for a table! And I do like the Margaritas!

OFF MY LIST now. This place was good one time, but seriously. I ordered the FAJITAS. . NO SERVING SPOON. Dig in everybody with your own spoons and forks. Double dipping the mouth germs. You cannot serve yourself with a spoon and a fork. NO KNIFE served for the Tough Chewy Beef. Tough beef, 4 minutes to chew. ONE NAPKIN... unless you ask for more, and if they see you made a mess of the table, they might bring you more. SOUPY CANNED BEANS... canned beans AND WORSE.... for two people.... 9 STALE HARD WHITE BAD TORTILLAS ! They must have said in the back..... Start dumping the tortillas, they're getting old !! Those are not tortillas. Get Guerreros Tortillas if you don't make your own. TO TOP IT OFF.... DOUBLE D..... the next day.....both of us!

This place is your average American-Mexican food. The waiter was okay nothing to note bad nothing to note great. Went in here for lunch one day. Had a margarita and was kinda disappointed by it. It was happy hour so they were kinda small but were 2 for 1 so. When we walked in there wasn't any music playing which made the place kinda eerily quite but half way through the employees must have felt the weird vibe and turned some on. I don't know if we will be back but for a quick American Mexican lunch it could do.
(3)
Evan S.
We ordered a pitcher of margaritas, which were not that strong. The carnitas tacos were ok, but the guacamole tostada tasted like peanut butter on a taco shell... The price was reasonable and we spent less than we do for comparable dinners and other Mexican restaurants. 3 stars because you should feel a pitcher of Margs between two people, and the weird quac taste and texture.

This review is for the breakfast burritos to go that they advertise. Allow me to tell a tale: We wanted breakfast burritos to help us ease the pain of a slow day on New Years Eve. We have a usual spot but alas they were unavailable, so I remembered that Las Delicious advertises $2 items. When I got them back to the office, I was extremely disappointed. Egg, potato, cheese. That's it. They weren't terribly hot, the cheese hadn't melted, but most importantly, there was no green chili inside. (I should point out that they advertise these burritos as egg, potato, cheese, and green chili, so I had every reason to expect some.) They were dry and flavorless. I was very disappointed that I bought these. I have been to other Las Delicias spots in the past around town, including this one, and I find them to be hit or miss. Unfortunately this location is a miss. Lunch and dinner meals have always been at best mediocre. I'll avoid them in the future.

This is one of my favorite Mexican chains. The food is always consistent and pretty dang good. The last chimichunga I had could have been crispier, but the flavors were all there. I was greeted immediately, sat fast, and had my food on the table 10 min after ordering. So great for my lunch break!

I love Las Delicias but must admit that the 2 for 1 Margaritas after 2:00 pm does go a long way to making me SMILE. They have awesome crispy chilli rellenos. I usually get waited on by a gent named Memo and he does an awesome job of keeping the libation flowing on a TGIF afternoon. Highly recommend !!

Nothing great, nothing specifically bad. The margaritas and carnitas tacos are okay, but that's about all. Other menu items are less appetizing and kind of slop-like. The prices and service are okay as well. There's better elsewhere.

I know, I know Greg T. we should have went to La Casita. I have it bookmarked and it is the one bookmarked place I really really want to go to. But they close so damn early (7pm). So since La Casita closes early, we went to Las Delicias instead. I'm actually not going to write much about this joint. We all left saying Meh. Food, besides taking FOREVER and a day to come out from the kitchen on a dead Friday night, everything was Meh. Put it this way, they spent more time preparing our food than we did eating it. All our meals were so-so and all of us left more than half on our plates and not wanting boxes to take the rest home. The highlight of the meal was the Super Nachos. But then how do you Fup nachos. Service was shotty. It took forever for our waiter to come and take our order after delivering our drinks. Appetizers came out pretty fast but entrees took an eternity. I guess Las Delicias is a small local chain. I would skip this chain joint and find a mom and pop shop to support over this any day.

Terrible. 1) they are way understaffed. Forget about getting drink refills 2) food was bland and tasteless. Not a single person at a table of 5 enjoyed the meal. If you think taco bell is "mexican food" then this might be the place for you. 3) having to flag down a waiter after 20min to get a check 4) salsa is watery. On the plus side the margarita waa good and the meal reasonably priced. Won't be returning.

This is perfectly good, run of the mill Mexican food, but it's just not my taste. The plates are huge, all the sides run together, and everything comes covered in shredded cheese. I know people like it, but to me it's reminiscent of how the cafeteria ladies slop food on your plate. I prefer places with a more refined presentation. That said, the food is actually quite tasty even though it doesn't look very good.

Came here for lunch the other day and wasn't very fond of it. It was highly recommended, but for me it was just run of the mill mexican that was a little too greasy for me. I had a plate of enchiladas and a tamale. The tamale was very good, but the enchiladas weren't that great. The service was okay, but not great. I was surprised at the bathroom, which is really nice. The rest of the place is your typical small mexican restaurant decorating. Probably won't be back since there are so many other great mexican places nearby.

Perfectly good neighborhood Mexican food. It is not gourmet, nor a special night-out spot, but it is tasty, fast, and reasonably priced. The Margaritas are excellent, the real deal with generous tequila and no cheap sugary mix. Comfy, kid-friendly, nice staff, just a great every-so-often joint. Highly recommended.

Okay so it has taken me three months to write this review because I was so angry about the way management treated us. We live down the street from this place. We have went a few times and I have always thought it was nothing to write home about. This night it seemed a little busy, we waited about 15 minutes for a table, We waited another 15 minutes for the server to take our order, we waited about 40 minutes for our food. The server must have left the food in the window. I cant believe the kitchen didn't let her know food was sitting in the window. it was left so long that it cooked right to the plate. My grandsons hamburger was so dry he couldn't eat it. The worst part when we complained to the manager and said he will only take off three dollars for the dried up enchilada. What an insult! He didn't want to hear it and wanted to leave our table. We will never go back because management didn't care at all. I did take a photo.

For Denver, this place is totally average. The place was dead and the service took . . . 10 YEARS! Seriously, there were some snail races going on here. Our server took his time to get us drinks, our order, refills, and yeah the food was a loooooooong wait. check? yeah, FOREVER! The server was friendly, just had a bad habit of getting lost in a 25x40 room. Aside from the extremely slow service the food was just ok. It wasn't bad, it wasn't great. It was filling and I felt it was worth paying for. Will I go back? No. There are better Mexican joints around with slightly better food, and MUCH FASTER SERVICE that don't even have to try that hard. Fail

Keep going back to Las Delicias because they serve some of my favorite Smothered Beef Burritos in town. The green chili is special and the order comes with three large burritos for $7.95 so its a reasonably priced hearty meal. The chips and salsa are good too and their guacamole is outstanding. The staff does a great job and the food gets out of the kitchen fast. Good place for lunch because you can can get in and out quickly. Have never tried one of their margaritas, but they have good drink specials.

Good local food and neighborly atmosphere. All the folks who live in the area know about this gem of a restaurant. Casual dining, good food, reasonably priced. The manager has never met a stranger and is easy to talk to. We go here twice a month just because it's close and easy.

Wasn't my favorite at first, but this place has grown on me. Ask for the spicy green chile and they will top it with chopped jalepenos, yummy. Great price and good service.

Good local food and neighborly atmosphere. All the folks who live in the area know about this gem of a restaurant. Casual dining, good food, reasonably priced. The manager has never met a stranger and is easy to talk to. We go here twice a month just because it's close and easy.

Every time I go, which is a lot, the service is very fast, always delicious, and I try something new almost every time. I like the Las Delicias Specials. The carnitas is always very tender, tacos al carbon are sooo tasty and I am always a fan of their simple combo plates. Good prices, as well.

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Great mexican food and their salsa is spicy crack. I go here quite often.

(4)Bernard R.
Best soft chile rellenos I ever had. Great service at a great price
(5)Heather H.
(1)Thor C.
Three beef burritos smothered in tasty green chili goodness have filled me up on more than one occasion. Huge portions, decent prices. Everything I've tried seemed to have been under seasoned, though. This place is a decent option for Colorado-Mexican.
(3)Susu H.
It's an average Mexican restaurant with average prices. If you are in the area and don't feel like driving to the next restaurant it's a good place to eat~ it has a large dining room so I have never experienced a wait
(3)Eric L.
(4)C M.
Used to have a really great steak burrito. Cubes of steak and beans. They changed it to teeny tiny bits of steak you aren't required to chew. Price did not change. Really?? It's so weird in texture. I assume much cheaper to make.
(1)Mike J.
(5)Sherri S.

Took my girl here for Valentine's Day, food was awesome, as always, it was her first time here so I hope she liked it. The service was good and the food came out quickly. One of my favorite Mex places in town.
(5)Bebon M.
This place never seems to disappoint! Best Mexican food south of Denver imo. I got the menudo and it was perfect, full of flavor not too spicy but just enough...Service is always fast and friendly.
(5)Katherine S.
We eat here often and always have a good experience. The food is your basic Mexican food - nothing too special but always good and reasonably priced. The staff is always very nice. I really like that we hardly ever have to wait for a table! And I do like the Margaritas!
(4)Mar M.
(1)Cris F.
(3)Evan S.

(3)Tammy S.

(2)Jim D.
(1)Jenn B.
(3)Cassandra F.

Dive Mexican is my favorite cuisine and this place is adequate for scratching that itch. Good prices. I'm partial to the chicken mole.

Took my girl here for Valentine's Day, food was awesome, as always, it was her first time here so I hope she liked it. The service was good and the food came out quickly. One of my favorite Mex places in town.

This place never seems to disappoint! Best Mexican food south of Denver imo. I got the menudo and it was perfect, full of flavor not too spicy but just enough...Service is always fast and friendly.

Best soft chile rellenos I ever had. Great service at a great price

Dive Mexican is my favorite cuisine and this place is adequate for scratching that itch. Good prices. I'm partial to the chicken mole.

Best chile rellenos I've had!

Every time I go, which is a lot, the service is very fast, always delicious, and I try something new almost every time. I like the Las Delicias Specials. The carnitas is always very tender, tacos al carbon are sooo tasty and I am always a fan of their simple combo plates. Good prices, as well.
