India is the birth place of Chicken Tikka Masala and Curries. Indian foods are prepared with a blend of finely mixed spices quite popular across the region. The spices develop the rich taste in Indian food enough to boggle your mind. The ever-increasing fan base of Indian food around the New York city is steadily increasing because of the large number of Indians who traveled to the land of dreams. The Indians also brought their very own vibrant, colorful, and aromatic authentic dishes for the people in the West. While most of the Indian population is Vegetarian, Indian food is great for people who are looking for vegan or vegetarian food option. If you are a Meat lover, don't get disappointed yet. Indian food also boasts of some popular non-vegetarian dishes too. Few examples are the famous Butter Chicken, Mutton Biryani and Tandoori Chicken are enough to satisfy your taste buds.
Indian food has gained reputation all over the world especially in the United States. You can find many places serving the appetizing Indian food across all major cities in the US. India is a diverse country with different food culture originated from different parts of the country. While the Northern region boasts tandoori dishes and korma offering royal taste, the Western Ghats offers sea foods that is made in naturally sweet tender coconut milk. The South Indian food servers a quality of different dishes made from rice accompanied with spicy chutneys, curries and famous sambhar. Also, the Indian sweets are a delight to relish. If you ever want to have a burst of sugar syrup in mouth, don't forget to try few Bengali Sweets. Be it spicy, tangy, or sweet flavor, you can find everything in the Indian cuisine. Be assured that the melody of spices will surely bring delight to you.

This was second time here. First was for a treat from friend. Loved the soft onion kulcha & garlic naan. The butter chicken was mouth watering. But too much color was added. Not sure it was natural / artificial color. Otherwise good experience. Would definitely come by again & recommend to friends.

Wonderful yummy food. This place has wonderful food and atmosphere, and reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

First time here and I'm in love whith the food ! We ordered lamb briyani , chicken tikka masala they were 10/10 perfect !! We also ordered tandoori chicken and tea they were nice . Looking forward to come again .
(5)Sarah A.
Came here for dinner and it was excellent! We had the chicken korma (which was creamy and full-flavored) and the lamb vindaloo (which was spicy, tender and some of the best lamb I've ever had!). Legit Indian food with the depth of spicy you crave! We'll be back. TIP: Tons of people were leaving with take-out so call ahead and grab your food to go!

I wish I could update with a higher rating .. the food was certainly very yummy and the chili chicken was definitely very spicy ( I loved it) ... but when you come in for a lunch buffet with a 2 yo and a 4 yo and get charged $6 each plus the adult buffet .... that is way exorbitant !! So, the food was better than the last time and this time arrived as the first table seated for the lunch buffet. The food was fresh and the Naan was delicious. The chicken Tikka was good perhaps even better than average and the chili chicken was spicy enough to make me sweat (very yummy) but this time the service was very disappointing and got 2 saucers of food for my toddlers, yes coffee cup saucers with a little rice, I split a samosa between them, they each got a drumstick, and a little chucken tika on the rice on on that saucer ... so getting charge $12 for that ... no way that was worth it ... so disappointed. Not sure I'll be back

Never in my life have I had sweet potato masala. OMG, it was amazing. We also had the chicken saag and the lamb vindaloo. If you love Indian food, this is the place to get it. No joking.
(5)Madelynn O.
Haven't tried this place in a couple years (and some owner changes -- which turned out for the best). Had dinner last night and really, really good. Chicken korma spicy (I asked for a "7" out of 10) was really spicy and flavorful. Chicken tikka Marsala was hot at 7, but delicious. Mixed appetizer fried, but tasty. Buddha beer went well with everything. Best Indian food I've had in Denver area on a long time. Will be back! (Hope buffet is as good as dinner)

I was introduced to Indian food in San Francisco at Indian Oven close to Haight District. This was one of the most popular Indian Restaurants. People would loop around the block to get in. Since then I have searched for Indian food that is close to the best Indian food I have ever had. It is a high bar to reach and India Nepal is not quite as good but the flavors are similar. I have tried many other Indian restaurants in Denver and India Nepal is the best! The atmosphere could use some help but hopefully they will continue to thrive.

A workmate of Indian descent recommended this place as having the best Indian lunch buffet around, so three of us headed here for lunch from work. India-Nepal Oven features a lunch buffet with a small but tasty selection - the standard naan, saag paneer, chicken curry, basmati or white rice, spicy pickle, salad, Tandoori chicken, vegetable pakora and vegetable samosas, and a few other dishes to compliment the selection. I found everything I tried to be tasty, with the caveat that Indian buffets in Denver tend to be under-spiced so as to not scare away unsuspecting American clientele with no taste for the exotic spices common in Indian food. My workmate said that if you come for dinner you can order just about anything from 1 to 10 on the heat scale, and that the staff bills the lunch buffet as a Zero on that scale. I'd love to come back and give it a try in the evening, and will update this review should I have the opportunity.

A low 3. Let's begin with the good stuff. Attentive service. The staff is quite friendly. Riesling is nice and fair priced. Free wifi. Bad thing about here is that I cannot compliment about the food. I was eating off of salad. Normally when I do that is because the vegetarian selection is so boring. Today they are serving Veggie Korma (too thick) and Saag Paneer. Tips if I may, cook something to stand out in a town full of indian/nepalese/himalayan food joints.

Great place, great people, awesome food. Place was very nice and clean, very friendly staff, definitely a place to hang out and enjoy a good meal.
(5)Laura L.
Seriously guys: Order. Off. The. Menu. The buffet is okay if you're in a hurry but I've never had anything that's knocked my socks off from the buffet: everyone, just like you, is in a hurry-hurry-hurry at lunchtime and eats all the naan and all your favorite dishes and just makes your life rough because you have to wait around and ask for the buffet to be restocked. Go when you have some time. Order off the menu. Sit down with your friends or family and enjoy a leisurely meal. Or order online (double check your spice level if you're really wedded to it) or on the phone, pick it up and take it home. I promise you won't be sorry. For reals.
(5)Cindy P.
I went to this place on my prom night with my friends. I'll be honest if one of my friends haven't been to this place before I would have never even step food in the place. But I'm glad I did. The people were very friendly, and being in a group of 6 seniors we were loud, but they were very nice to us. The food is amazing I have been craving their food so much lately. Try it. You won't regret it!

Stopped in on a Saturday for the $9 Lunch Buffet. Good selection for price. 8 entrees and about a dozen sides. I focused on the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Chicken Curry on the buffet line. Both were good, but I have had better. The endless naan coming to the table was warm and fluffy, the opposite of the glorified tortillas I have gotten at other places. The stuff here was very similar to the flat bread I would get at street vendors when I was in Iraq. The space itself is a little run down, but the staff are friendly folks. I was a little annoyed that half the lights in the men's room were burned out. I ate way too much, but that is a possibility at any restaurant, especially buffets. Will definitely come back if I am ever in the mood for Indian when in this part of town.
(3)Joshua D.
Always nice and polite, buffet is good but we always grab chicken tikki Marsalas and cheese naan, always so delicious, taste exactly like my favorite indian place in Albany, NY! Feel some places have different recipes from different regions, this one is perfect!
(5)Brianne K.
Absolutely THE BEST Indian food we've found in Littleton!!! Authentic! Affordable!!! Addictive!!! The ONLY downside... They don't deliver, but well worth the drive to pick up! (Oh & they offer a ton of coupons in the 'Hometown Magazine The Great Southwest')!
(5)Cielo G.
Excellent flavors with more of a Nepalese twist. Best roti I've found (although they charged $2 instead of just substituting it for naan). Lentils were fine, but were definitely the pureed kind. Saag was appealing. Great selection for a lunch buffet. It was fairly busy even on a Sunday.
(4)Sara G.
Wow!! This place rocks!! The ambiance is good, the new staff is amazing and friendly, and the food is DELICIOUS!!! My mouth is watering just thinking about it. lamb curry. Cheese naan. And lucky buddha beer!! Wow! Love it!!
(5)Cathy R.
Went to the lunch buffet last week. We had been looking for a good buffet since moving here last year. Unfortunately, this did not live up to our expectations. Borderline 2 1/2-3 stars. The cleanliness of the restaurant was questionable. The white tablecloth on my side had red sauce stains on it. Couldn't tell if it had been washed and still had stains or if they were recent. The air vents in the ceiling were coated in black gunk as well as surrounding ceiling tiles. That lack of attention to detail always makes me wonder how clean the kitchen is. The buffet selection was decent, not as good as our favorite Indian restaurant back in PA. The dishes that had been sitting in the buffet were lukewarm. When they brought new dishes out, those were piping hot like all of the food should have been. The wait staff was nice enough, but two separate people came to our table multiple times yet never cleared our dirty dishes, which we had to pile to the side. While we were there, there were only 2-3 other tables, so no reason for the lack of service. Dirty dishes still there when we left. Maybe the menu items are better like other reviewers have stated, but we like the variety of a buffet. And sorry, if the buffets sucks, why would I want to try the menu? A restaurant should strive for consistency after all.
(3)Rob T.
This is just sold Indian. The restaurant is in a kinda hard to find location, but the positive is when everyone else is waiting 90 minutes to get into Outback you can stroll in here and be seated right away. They feature a nice Nepalese selection, but I only really go for the Indian and never for the buffet. Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Makhani, Vindaloo and Naan. I think it's rating is helped because located in the 'Littleton Chain Food Black Hole' that swallows up independent restaurants never to been seen again, but it's just consistently decent Indian Food. Don't freak out if it looks like you are the only one there....it's actually kinda nice, enjoy it!
(4)John B.
Haven't had one bad item off the menu! Highly recommended Indian restaurant in Littleton.
(5)Cheetah B.
Oh, god: Don't visit this place on a very busy Saturday night. With only three people working -- one of whom is very slow -- the staff at this place will get easily overwhelmed. The waitress will be out of breath and far less pleasant than usual, and the yelling in kitchen will be loud enough for the entire restaurant to hear. You'll order two sodas and never get a refill. If you order naan, it will never come, and you'll have to ask for it after your main entrees have been brought out. As for the nice little free crackers and sauces that they usually bring out before your dinner? Forget about it. You'll be told that they're "out of" your favorite dish. The list goes on. Despite all this, you can expect to pay full price for every single thing you ordered -- even the drinks that didn't get refilled, the naan you had to ask twice for, and the substitute entree...
(2)Lendy L.
I came here on recommendation of a friend who actually is Indian and she did not steer me wrong. I am always a sucker for my favorite dish, Chicken Tikka Masala, garlic naan, and veggie samosa! I tried the lamb vindaloo which was just ok, not great! The other dishes did not disappoint and service was prompt and very good. Nepal serves buffets only during lunch. For dinner, dishes can be on the pricey side, but eating family style is the best way to go. For a party of three we ordered two curry dishes, an appetizer and naan. Each curry dish is accompanied by saffron rice. Don't be fooled by the small looking portions that the curries come in, they are quite hardy dishes. At the end the bill come out to be $13 per person. I would come back to this place but since buffets are always cheaper I'd like to try the buffet next time.
(4)Mimi R.
We were in the area and found this restaurant. They had a radio personality there with a special priced buffet ($5). We were impressed with the food and service. Aloo Gobi was great. Veggie Samosas were wonderful! My husband loved the Tikka Masala. Mango Lassis were yummy. Riata and Mint Chutney were delicious. All in all an amazing experience.
(4)David L.
Best Indian restaurant I have tried so far in Denver. Very good naan made fresh to order even if you order the buffet. Awesome Chicken Tikka Masala, Taandori and saag paneer. If you get the dinner for two and cut it in half, it will still feed two with leftovers. Amazing value and fresh, delicious food get this hidden gem 5 stars.
(5)Alicia J.
Really, really not impressed. Ordered three entrees: Vegetable Momo, Malai Kofta and Chicken Vindaloo. The momo came out as an appetizer, even though they don't list them as being available as being an appetizer. So, we got half as many (5, instead of 10). These were the best part of the meal, but they are NOT homemade. These were purchased in a store, frozen. I'd bet on it. There was nothing wrong with them, per se, but they were kinda mushy and the sauce that came with them had zero flavor to it. The uniformity of the wrappers were a dead giveaway that they weren't made in house. It's been 90 minutes since we ate and I just now came up with an appropriate word for the other two entrees: VAGUE. The flavors were just...vague. I've never had Indian food or Nepalese food that tasted so little like either. The dishes were greasy and the chicken was overcooked. The Malai Kofta is described on the menu as "Mixed vegetables with homemade cheese, nuts and raisins". Now, my bad for not knowing what Kofta is (basically minced meat or veggies pressed into meatball-type shapes). We were expecting more of a basic vegetable dish. Instead, these "meatball" type things were hard, way overcooked lumps of mostly tasteless innards. My boyfriend actually ate more of them than I did, because I was honestly afraid I might chip a tooth. If there was cheese in them, I didn't taste it. And, again, I don't think these were fresh or even necessarily homemade. They seemed very much like a frozen item thrown for too long in dirty oil to cook. Nothing was pleasant about them - not the taste or the texture. The sauce they came in was creamy and slightly spicy (we asked for 8 out of 10 spice), but again, vague. No strong flavors came out at all. The garlic naan was just okay. It was hot and fresh, but had very little flavor to it, and was a lot denser than I'm used to naan bread being. We had a restaurant.com certificate that required us to order $35 worth of food, so we had to order a dessert to make that total. I ordered the galub jamun, because, I figured, how could someone mess those up? Ugh. They were like balls of pure rubber. I'd imagine they were overcooked, as well, as I've never had galub jamun that were so dark brown inside. I give two stars because the service wasn't bad, and the ambiance isn't bad, either. We did have several flies and bugs buzzing around us due to a random open door (the air condition was cold and running, so I don't understand that), and my boyfriend shut that early on to get rid of the flies. I can't see going back.

This place has been our favorite Indian for several years and tonight was still amazing!! Amazing tikka masala, naan, samosas and perfect spiciness even in the saag paneer! Love this little gem of a restaurant.
(5)Christine F.
We moved here recently from LA, this restaurant is Very delicious, fresh and not too greasy. Service can be slow, get an Indian beer and relax. Don't miss the garlic naan. Friendly, never a wait and better quality than most Indian restaurants. We even found things my very picky 12 year old will eat. They aren't messing around with their spiciness level, start with under 5 unless you have a high tolerance. For Indian food in Littleton this is great!!
(4)Tim I.
Very very good food! Service, attention, refills, food to table, everything was done right & in a timely manner. I've eaten here both during lunch for a quick buffet visit and at night for dinner. I've always been very happy!
(5)Mark O.
After moving from Glendale, I'm forced to find some new spots to find, as it is not sustainable for me to drive 30 minutes on a daily basis. I stopped in this place on the basis of Yelp reviews. Almost drove out of the parking lot after not seeing it initially--its tucked down at the bottom of a shopping complex, almost out of sight. I tried the lunch buffet and they had a nice selection--Veggie korma, aloo gobi, chicken masala, chicken curry, along with samosa, which I've only seen at one other buffet. Chai was a very reasonable $2.50 and it was refilled. The food was flavorful (but not spicy). The hot sauce on the line seemed very thin and didn't add much to the food. However, a decent amount of other flavorings were present, especially in the chicken masala. The only thing I found odd was the naan--it seemed very puffy and unlike naan I've had anywhere else.
(4)Josh M.
Wow, can't believe this place has 4 stars?!?! It was ok, solid 2.5 stars. Rounded down since I think it's so over rated. Tikka masala was ok, definitely on the buffet for a while like everything else. Tandoori was kind of bad. Could go on about the rest but you get the point.
(2)E-Rock D.
Food is really good, too bad the service is HORRIBLE! Also, in addition to having a long wait time on pick-up orders, I've been to the buffet twice and both times half of the items on the buffet were empty. I had to ask if they would refill some of them. Service was pretty much non existent (employees just watch TV & sit on the computer). FYI India Nepal, if you expect a good tip, provide good service.
(3)Stella S.
We went there on a Saturday night; the place was deserted, which should have been our first clue. The good was horrible.
(1)Kirby L.
One of a few (if not the only) Indian restaurants nearby, the food was delicious! After just returning from the Middle East, I felt right back at home eating Indian cuisine that was authentic, flavorful, and very spicy (both with spices and heat). I love the number system to decide how spicy hot you want your meal--creates a very personalized order. Prices are a little high, but we left happy, full, and with leftovers for lunch tomorrow.
(5)Kyle S.
First time visit. Take out. Was very impressed by quality of the food - had chicken tikka masala, lamb biryani and naan. They asked what level of spice I wanted on a 1-10 scale. I ordered a 3 (not very spicy) and the food was spot on. The masala sauce was very good - a great balance of tomato and creaminess. The lamb was well cooked, nice and tender. I've experienced many great Indian restaurants across the USA (Boston, New York, D.C. & Maryland) and have found Denver to generally be lacking compared these areas. But this place was right up there, & definitely good for Denver. On the downside (-1 star), the ambiance seemed lacking, and the lobby smelled a bit of smoke/burnt food when I came in to pickup. The restaurant is tucked away off the road in the corner of a small development, but the nondescript exterior turned to be deceiving compared how food tasted. Will definitely come back again.
(4)Lily S.
The good: Naan; garlic or non-garlic, the bread is wonderful, hot and fresh. I could just eat this and be happy (I agree with Rick D. that they "tasted Bisquick-like", maybe because of the stronger sweetness than other Naans? But I still liked it). The bad: I've had too many great dumplings in my life to enjoy their momos which looked similar to dumplings but were gross (excuse my language but that was really how I felt when I bit into one, the filling was some pureed, overcooked vegetable mush; ugh!) The average: chicken tikka masala. I've had much better somewhere else. The subpar: Curry Shrimp; again, I've had a lot better curry dishes from other Asian cuisines. Other highlights: the saffron (basmati) rice accompanying our curry shrimp entree was a pleasant surprise. Not that it was exceptionally great but it's indeed an upgrade from white rice! Also, when I told our server I did not like lentil soup, he happily brought out some creamed spinach with tofu cubes in a little dish which I enjoyed. Probably not this restaurant's fault but after this meal, I realized ethnic food wise, I will pick Middle East cuisine over Indian because I feel like I'm set on Indian food for a long while after dining here...
(3)Diana A.
We used to love this place, but haven't been in over 6 months. Went there last night, and at 6 pm, were the only customers. After ordering from a very friendly server, I asked the obvious question of the people I was with: "I wonder why there's nobody here?" I was directed to look at the wall next to our table, which was splattered with either food or another substance that could have been from a sneeze. Totally gross either way! While waiting for our naan to arrive, we became inundated with gnats or some other small flying bugs. Again, gross. Now, we questioned everything, and started looking at silverware, glassware, the water, etc, just wondering 'if they don't clean the dining room, what else isn't clean'? We asked for our order to go, and deliberated all the way home if the food would make us sick or not. After inspecting our meals, we decided to go ahead and eat, and it was good, but we couldn't shake our disgust over how unclean the dining room was. We didn't get sick, but won't be returning. This place needs a Kitchen Nightmares style upgrade, or needs to give up and close if they don't know how to clean. It's a shame, because now we don't know where to go for Indian food, but we know we won't be returning to India Nepal Oven. Of course, if you must 'see for yourself' before trusting my review, I recommend taking a very close look at the cleanliness of this place BEFORE ordering!
(1)Julie D.
We have tried several Indian restaurants. This was our first and the one we keep coming back to because every time it's incredible and the service is friendly and homey.
(5)George S.
Denver has a great selection of Nepal-Indian food which I like. I asked my Denver associates for a good place to eat a late lunch and was directed to Red Robin or Macaroni Grill. Came here instead. I just missed the buffet which was probably best since I ordered the Nepalese Chicken Momo (steamed dumplings) from the menu. Different and delicious! That's my perfect meal.
(4)Arick R.
Came here on a whim with my dad to get some Indian food because the Yelp reviews were pretty solid. We were both surprised how good the food was prepared and how tasty everything was. I think the flavors aren't 100% authentic Indian, but that's okay. The waitress and I think the owner is from Nepal, so they might have some variation in cooking style. 1 of the 2 dishes we ordered came out much spicier than we requested, but the kitchen was accommodating enough to prepare another one gratis. That is excellent service and a sign this place is committed to retaining customers. Entree portions are a good size and come with basmati rice. You'll definitely want to bring your appetite and a few friends to try all the dishes they offer.
(4)Lynn B.
We liked this when it first opened but was kind of bland, even when ordering a "8 or 9" on the heat scale but was delicious. They must have changed owners or chefs as we ate there last week and I ordered a "9" and it was HOT. The waitress was friendly and questioned if I really wanted a "9", and I said YES. And oh so GOOD It was hotter than I wanted but was still excellent and cleaned out my sinuses...lol. This was my son's 39th birthday dinner. He asked the waitress about some of the specialty cocktails with Indian names and she said they were new drinks and she'd ask the bartender, and came back with a list of ingredients for the 3 or so he asked about. Anyone that likes Indian food, and SPICY should try this place. It is much better than the other Indian restaurants around town.
(5)Tom M.
Four star for this tiny buffet! Wish the gulab was hot.
(4)John D.
Found this place while getting my car stereo worked on. Lucky me. The food here is great and the service is as well. It is run by a family and a young man probably in his teens is the main waiter around lunch time at least. He's great and even plays sports on their TV for the people dining alone. I recommend the garlic naan and chicken tikka masala. Been back every time I am in the area.
(5)James M.
Buffet was ok but nothing to write home about. My wife and I thought it seemed like the hometown buffet of Indian
(2)Doug Y.
Trying not to eat like I have a snout and a curly tail here is rough! Trying to watch my diet and going to a buffet? Yeah, I'm a dumb-ass! I at least liked all the dishes I tried from the saag paneer to the korma to even the tandoori chicken which at most other buffets is dry and sometimes flavorless. This is a great place to search out if you're out in this neck-o-the-woods!
(4)Marian S.
I really love Indian food. My experience with Indian restaurants has usually been slow service for dinner, so I kind of expect it and plan for it when I want Indian food. This place was very busy and understaffed the night we went. Seems like someone didn't show up for work. So, we had to wait a while for everything. The waitress (who I think must have been an owner) kept apologizing and then the chef sent out a free appetizer. I think it was the Vegetable Samosa and it was great! The food was all very good. I had Chicken Makhani and my husband had Lamb Korma. Both dishes were typical, but extremely tasty! We also had the garlic naan, which could have been a little bit more garlicky, but was still good. We will definitely go back!
(4)John M.
Several owners in the past 8-10 years since Pastas was there. I like this place, excellent service, interesting menu, not you typical curry take away. Tucked away on southside of Bowles. Very helpful "spicy" grading index, 0 to 10. I had momos, a Nepalase vegetarian dumpling, hand made so allow about 20+ minutes. My wife had a lamb/shrimp marsala.

I bought the Deal Chicken $10 for $20 food way back in November and realized it was going to expire. I'm really happy I used it instead of letting it go to waste. The place is a drive (about 30mts) but worth it. I went in around 8pm to place carry out. I would have called ahead (and recommend you do so) but there were things I wanted that I didn't see on the menu: Pappadum and paneer makhani. So, I wanted to ask them if they had them. They did! Well, the paneer makhani is a paneer masala on the menu; it has basically the same ingredients and was delicious. My estimated wait after placing my order was 30mts, which is fine. I had my kindle fire and they gave me a water while I waited at the bar. There was a disgruntled gentleman waiting on his food, seemed to have been there a while. When his food was ready, they apologized and gave him a discount without him asking. He was immediately not disgruntled anymore and everyone was happy. I figured I'd better keep a watch on the time. But my food order was ready within 20 mts. My total came to $21.95, and they comped me the $1.95 so I didn't have to pay anything after applying the Deal Chicken. That was really nice. I've been to many places that do not give you a $0.01 discount no matter what. I tipped off the orignal amount of the bill. (Which is what you should do!) So, on to the food. Everything was tasty. This is what I ordered and my opinions: Pappadum: delicious, but i think it was store bought. Meh. I'm ok with that. Veggie samosa: Also seemed store bought due to complete uniformity. Kind of bland. Paneer Masala: Delicious. The paneer was different than I'm used to. Not squishy. But the sauce was really really good. I got it a 2 out of 10, and for my sensitive palate it seemed like a 4...but no tummy issues the next day! Kabuli Naan: Dear lord this is heavenly. Date and raisin filled. It's like a dessert or a meal in itself. I'll go back just fo that. Seriously. Best. Naan. Ever. Kheer (Rice pudding): pretty good. Mildly sweet. doesn't seem homemade, but still really really good. Oh, btw, I wouldn't know homemade Indian food from my elbow. So take my comments with a grain of salt. I only know what I've eaten in the past at other places. They're very nice and should be patronized. Go here and eat!
(4)Jelle L.
went once for lunch while in the area and craving for indian...found on yelp and yes check it out ... overall friendly and clean business, but notice a somewhat strange interior - overall a few delicious dishes which filled us up and as you know - buffet prices are affordable and all you can eat ... We also had a great discussion with a worker there and there and their Europe travel experience. Will return if I'm back in the area.

Great place! I saw a steady flow of people walk up to the bar for carryout after work, so the locals know about this place. Nepal Oven reminded me of the authentic Indian restaurants that we visited in Washinton, D.C. Our friend, Satish, really introduced us to some winners on the menu. He is vegetarian and started us with the India Nepal sampler that had veggies fried in chickpea batter (Pakora) and a potato-stuffed fritter (Samosa), yum. Lamb biryani (spiced 1 to 10) was incredible with the tender lamb that tasted mellow. I asked for 10, but was coerced to #8 which tasted nice and wasn't noticeably spicy. We had a swordfish karala that was a very nice red curry sauce to compliment big chunks of swordfish. The wheat bread that came with a vegetarian dish was so good too. Hope this helps you choose if you don't have an Indian guide along for the ride. .

Cheese naan. Chicken tikka masala. Heat rating 1-10. I ordered 8 hoping for heat but not over powering to avoid covering the flavor. Very creamy forefront flavor with a little kick at the end. Cheese naan is amazing. Very good smooth flavor. I would say this this is probably the best indian food I have ever had. Only one place in England comes close, and I think that this place tops that one. Its good enough that I will bring my wife here to try and it is a 1.5 hour drive. Yum............ mouth a watern'

What a fantastic supprise to find food this good with such resonable prices! The waitress was very helpfull in making sure that the food was spiced according to each or our tasts (my husband likes very spicy food and me, not so much). I can't wait to go back and try something else on the menue!

We are pretty new to Indian food, but this place is the best we have found. We have different places in downtown Denver and north Denver. They would be better if they delivered. But overall the food is tasty and it has good portion sizes (for economy not for diet). Try them out. You won't be disappointed. We have never run into a wait there either. I must admit I don't understand no wait... I sure hope this doesn't indicate a financial issue.

We came here basically by chance and it did not let us down. Even though I am fairly new to indian food, I have had by hand at a couple of well-reviewed indian restaurants: this place's food is superior to all of them. The naan was fresh, with a perfect mix of crisp and dough. The Tikka masala was hands down my favorite, perfect spiciness, the chicken was tender and the sauce was very creamy. My friend got the Everest chili chicken and it was also decent but he ended up eating most of mine. The restaurant environment could use some improvement but i quickly got over it after eating the food. I would definitely go again!

My boyfriend and I went here and loved it!!! The food was great. We had the vegetaqble pakora (which was delicious) Garlic naan, which smelled AND tasted amazing. I had the vegetable momo for my entree and loved it, they were these stamed dumplings full of flavorful mixed veggies and a lovely sauce with it. my boyfriend's lamb dish was tender and flavorful with the sauce full of things like raisins and alomonds which tasted lovely. We will be back for sure.

Not only do they provide sub standard quality, they are also kind enough to share the hair from the cook at no additional charge.

I have to admit, I was a little worried when I saw the mixed reviews. But then I remembered that something like 85% of people will only review something they were unhappy with... and with an overall rating of 4 stars, I decided that it was worth the risk. The decision may also have been influenced by the lack of non-chain food in the immediate area- my boyfriend and I went to AMC in Littleton and I did a quick search of nearby restaurants, with the "most promising" other than India-Nepal Oven including Outback Steakhouse and Olive Garden. I have never been so happy with a dining experience. I love food (more than I should) and always enjoy a restaurant that doesn't simply reheat frozen food. India-Nepal Oven had some of the most obviously fresh, in-house-made food I have ever eaten in a restaurant. Not only was the food authentic, fresh, and by far the best Indian cuisine I have ever eaten, but I didn't have the 'icky' feeling that eating rich curries usually gives me. Don't get me wrong, I love the food enough to deal with a little intestinal discomfort on occasion. Here, though, I ate a full meal (Lamb Salami Masala) and felt better after dinner than I have in days! The sensation is indescribable, but my boyfriend (who ordered the Everest Chicken Chili) was raving about a similar feel, so I am confident that I'm not alone in the existential high associated with eating at this glorious restaurant. We also shared the Kabuli Naan, which I highly recommend along with the rest of the food from our table (we each shared our entrees with one another). More than enough food to have leftovers afterwards, without any feeling of peckishness left to make you break into the carryout box and nibble like some places do. The restaurant is a little difficult to find, due to poor signage at the roadside and it's tucked-in location in its strip mall, but so beyond worth the hunt, I can't even explain. I live in Green Mountain, a good 20 minutes from the restaurant, and I will be foregoing every other Indian restaurant in favor of this one. Keep your eyes open, fellow diners... India-Nepal Oven is located right next to the Mane Edge, which you CAN find from Bowles Ave. I only wish I could give extra stars!

I loved this Indian Restaurant before the ownership changed about a year ago... then called "India's Clay Oven" or something very similar, but it is now owned by a charming man from the Nepalese/Indian region who, in my opinion, should win some kind of award as THIS IS BETTER THAN THE BEST INDIAN RESTAURANT IN THE ENTIRE DENVER METRO AREA!! The food here is some of the freshest I have tasted in a very long time. Not only is it fresh, but beautifully presented, colorful, hot, flavorful, and downright delicious. The last time I went in I ordered the Vegetarian Sampler which offered a selection of lentil Dal, a veggie curry, rice, steamed broccoli, a Samosa, and these wonderful Indian-style potstickers that I had never tried before at any other restaurant. The spice was perfect and the portion was enough for at least two meals. On the plus side, it has never been too salty which I loathe about most Indian restaurants! The spices are balanced and complex as they should be. Perfection. If that isn't enough, every time I have dined here the Naan has been simply wonderful! It is the best Naan I've ever tasted. Finally, the location is unfortunate because it's tucked away in a mini-mall off the street so it's difficult to spot the first time. To find it easier, it's across from the Super Target and look for a truck with a large sign advertising the restaurant parked out front facing Bowles. I would sign my soul over to India-Nepal Oven if I could. They have won my patronage!

Wow, what fantastic Indian food! I ordered the Sherpa stew and my dad got an Okra dish. We also got a half portion of a vegetarian eggplant dish to share. It was more than enough food and we took home quite a bit. Watch that you don't get it too spicy-a 5 on their scale of 1-10 will give you a wonderful roundness of flavor with just the right amount of kick; any more I think would have been deadly. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely stellar. The thing that made it special was that we came late at night-around 9 p.m., and the food and service were just as excellent as if we'd come in during normal dinner hours. The owner is a sherpa from Nepal and we chatted with him for a good half hour after we had finished eating-his story is a really good one! Next time I am in Littleton and craving Indian, this will be my first stop.

I love this place. I am not an expert on Indian food but the food here is fresh and the flavors are wonderful. Our first experience was for the lunch buffet. We couldn't have been more pleased with the quality, variety, and taste of the food. Give India-Nepal Oven a chance, you will be bringing your friends.

This place is tucked in a little corner of the parking lot, but their company truck is visible from the street, which is how I came to find out about the restaurant. I'm glad I did, because I enjoy good Indian food. My husband and I came here one night for dinner. The interior is pleasant, with nice wall art and simple furniture. The service is nice, as well. I enjoyed my lamb korma, although when I specified I wanted the spice level to be 7/10, the waitress expressed shock and warned me that it would be very spicy. I hesitated but based on past experiences of not receiving spicy enough food when warned off by a well-meaning waiter, I insisted on the 7 spice level. It was the right amount of spice for me, but possibly could be too spicy for some. My husband really enjoyed his dish, although I can't remember what he ordered. The naan was brought out fresh and was delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone in the neighborhood who is craving some good Indian food.

Great service. Atmosphere and food not that great.
(2)Andrea W.
the only reason i am not giving this place 5 stars is because i've only had the buffet and never ordered off the menu. the chai is the best chai i've had so far. there's another indian restaurant out in aurora (star of india) that is slightly better (in terms of food but not chai) but this is definitely the best indian place in the lakewood/littleton area.
(4)Tristen D.
Consistently good. Best buffet lunch. 2 people for lunch buffet - 16.75 without tip. Always had a nice waiter or waitress.
(5)Alan S.
Nice, traditional Indian restaurant, on par with the best Denver has to offer. The food was very good, the onion bhaji were crispy without be greasy, and the lamb saag retained a fresh spinach taste the many restaurants allow to cook out. The chicken makhani was ordered with an 8 out of 10 spiciness, and came with a nice burn, yet had room to grow for people who like it hotter. The atmosphere could use a little work, with your typical Indian decor covering a slightly shabby strip mall base of drop ceilings and high traffic carpet. Also, call me old fashioned, but when an Indian restaurant has a TV, I like it tuned to Bollywood videos, not ESPN. All and all, food as good as I have had in Denver, with a decent atmosphere that has a little room to improve. It is a little more expensive than some, with $13-$15 entrees, but I say it is worth it.
(5)Daisy S.
New to Colorado, I was hesitant indian food here would meet the expectations I have in chicago. I was wrong! my husband and i were in the area on our way to check out a movie when we saw the sign for India-Nepal Oven...We were stunned and craved it at the moment so we went right in and were not disappointed at all!!! i loved everything and teir rice pudding. We had buffet style and thats all you really need because there was a nice variety. the veggies, masala, samosas and nann were great. we are so happy to have found this place!
(5)Cecilia R.
I prefer Little India's masalas, but the naan here is to die for.
(4)Becca D.
This place is so average...I don't even feel like I'm eating genuine Indian food. The veggie pakora is over-fried. The Chicken Tikka Masala is strange. I don't know how to describe it but the curry reminds me of cheap canned tomato sauce. The chicken was quality however. Anyway, don't waste your money. Little India on 6th Avenue in Capitol Hill is still the best Indian in Denver.
(2)Tom L.
GREAT RESTAURANT! After moving here from Ohio last year I've tried several Indian restaurants in the area. Have yet to find one that makes my favorite dish, Chicken Xacuti. But the curried chicken here is closer than anything I've found in the Denver area and quenches the craving. The lunch buffet is a good deal at about $8 and includes about 10 items plus some awesome Naan bread - flaky and crispy in just the right proportion. When ordering from the menu they'll make it spicy to your preference on a scale from 1 to 10. I like a bit of heat and, big brave man that I am, ordered a "7". Their numbering system must be different from mine. (I think my mouth actually caught fire.) Humbled by the experience I now order a "5". :-) By the way, I don't know the difference between Nepalese and Indian food. I tend to order from the Indian dishes. But everything my wife and I have eaten there has been delicious. The staff is always friendly and prompt.

So my wife and I show up with our 16 month daughter in tow and we are shown to a table but not offered a high chair. We stand around awkwardly for a few minutes and then sit down holding her. Finally, someone comes up and tells us that they only have 2 high chairs and they are both being used. Looking around at the dining room and seeing 40 tables we think that is a little odd (for those of you without kids you can trust me that is odd), but determined we order our food to go... ...20 minutes later its ready, we drive home and start eating. Yum, the food is really pretty good. A good amount of spice (which you can customize while ordering) and really nice flavors. They use yellow rice by default which I like. Nom nom nom and then crunch. WTF was that I wonder as I pull a piece of white ceramic out of my mouth. It looked like a broken chunk of a plate and nearly broke my tooth while slicing open my mouth. I am no Indian food expert, but I am pretty sure glass was not listed as an ingredient of the items we ordered. Not impressed.
(1)Katie K.
I love this place! We've been here about 4 times. Three times eating at the restaurant and once ordering to go. Staff is attentive and kind. The food is the best Indian food I've had. We like to order the non-vegetarian sampler and always have some left to take home. So happy we found this gem in Littleton. Give it a try!!
(5)Lucy T.
Yummy food, great service. Curry was really flavorful. The naan was crispy, not soft which I'm used to. My only two complaints were that the plates were cold and the wall next to our table was dirty.
(4)Elle M.
I went to this place inspite of the review and im glad I did. This place is delicious! And is usually light on guest which is crazy. Its a little hole in the wall, but get over yourself. This is not a fine dining experience. Its a freakin' buffet people. Speaking of buffet, it's a great value. All your favorites- tikka masala, samasoas, etc. Its a little on the light side when it comes to spice. Come for dinner and they can make it as hot as you want. The staff if friendly, but can be a bit slow and you'll have to flag them down when you're ready for the check or want a refill.
(5)K T.
The chicken korma was the bomb. Most definitely going back. The mango drink was also a one for the books. Super good food.
(5)Michelle B.
Everyone needs to go here immediately and eat to make sure this place never goes out of business and I can continue eating here forever! I went here with my parents (including my mom who hates eating out because she feels she can make it better at home) and they loved it. My mom is from Nepal and my dad did his Peace Corps service there so they are definitely picky when it comes Nepali cuisine. We had the Lamb Boti Kebab (fantasitic! not gamey at all), Chicken Tika Masala (nice and mild), Veggie Momos steamed (mmm), Saag Paneer, (double mmm), Naan (fresh and hot), and Taj Mahal beer (750ml). We had plenty left over. I'll definitely be back to try the rest of menu. Oh, and most importantly, super nice servers who know their stuff and ask how spicy you want your dishes (1-10... 5 being American spicy and 10 being Asian spicy... I picked 7 and thought it was perfect.)

Not sure I'll be back
(3)Robin B.
Never in my life have I had sweet potato masala. OMG, it was amazing. We also had the chicken saag and the lamb vindaloo. If you love Indian food, this is the place to get it. No joking.

(5)Naveen K.

First time here and I'm in love whith the food ! We ordered lamb briyani , chicken tikka masala they were 10/10 perfect !! We also ordered tandoori chicken and tea they were nice . Looking forward to come again .

(4)Amanda D.

The chicken korma was the bomb. Most definitely going back. The mango drink was also a one for the books. Super good food.
(5)Andrew H.

Yummy food, great service. Curry was really flavorful. The naan was crispy, not soft which I'm used to. My only two complaints were that the plates were cold and the wall next to our table was dirty.

Very very good food! Service, attention, refills, food to table, everything was done right & in a timely manner. I've eaten here both during lunch for a quick buffet visit and at night for dinner. I've always been very happy!
(5)Kirby L.

We went there on a Saturday night; the place was deserted, which should have been our first clue. The good was horrible.
(4)Sara G.
Wow!! This place rocks!! The ambiance is good, the new staff is amazing and friendly, and the food is DELICIOUS!!! My mouth is watering just thinking about it. lamb curry. Cheese naan. And lucky buddha beer!! Wow! Love it!!

(2)Kyle S.

(5)April H.
(5)Nick A.

(5)Jelle L.
went once for lunch while in the area and craving for indian...found on yelp and yes check it out ... overall friendly and clean business, but notice a somewhat strange interior - overall a few delicious dishes which filled us up and as you know - buffet prices are affordable and all you can eat ... We also had a great discussion with a worker there and there and their Europe travel experience. Will return if I'm back in the area.

(5)Andrea T.
