Our server was an absolute pleasure, food was to die for, and the atmosphere was a blast from the past. I left with a full belly, smiling singing Elvis. What more can you ask for?

I'm not really sure if this location is having problems with recruiting the right talent or what the deal exactly is but the last couple of visits for me have been way below acceptable. This visit started out with the usual friendly greeting but then once my parents and I were seated, we waited and waited and waited and waited a little bit more. Finally after about 30 minutes I found the original member of the wait staff who greeted us and asked her if anyone was responsible for our section as we hadn't been acknowledged, brought water or anything (I waited this long because my parents were trying to decide what to order so initially it wasn't a huge deal but then once everyone had decided on a meal choice, the delay was inexcusable). She was very apologetic and said she would send the guy responsible for our section right over. Another 10 minutes goes by and she comes to the table and says "I guess I will be waiting on you all this evening as the other guy doesn't want any more tables" He appeared to only have 2 other tables on which he was serving.....the service was lax, not very friendly and even the manager whom was sent over didn't in the least bit seem very managerial. She did comp my father's burger but the service left a LOT to be desired. For the price and the experience, food like this can be obtained from one of the other more friendly locations or another establishment altogether. Very disappointed.

Terrible. Ordered the Meat loaf sandwich after finding them on a delivery app, they were listed and even recommended, they dont deliver. After I agreed to pick it up, it wasnt to far away, weird parking situation. I hadn't seen or heard anything about this place, looked like a casual 50's diner, which I thought was pretty neat. I was immediately greeted as I walked in the door, hopes were up at this point. She said she would be right with me, I saw probably 10 people in the time I was waiting for her just order shakes and go. It took a total of 30 minutes for this order to be completed, I waited 15 minutes for the food before being addressed again. The floor was disgustingly sticky and dirty. Tables were filthy. The food was cold and the "sandwich" that was ordered was meatloaf on top of a single piece of soggy bread, they forgot the coleslaw but saw fit to charge me. Never going there or ordering from them.

Went there for lunch, my husband and I were very impressed with how juicy and tasty our burgers were! They also came with a mountain of French fries I doubt anyone could finish. We'll be back.

Food pretty good. HUGE breakfast burrito for $7.99. (Im talking huge). There is also a weekday special where you get 2 eggs, hashbrowns, your choice of meat, and bread for $3.49! Can't beat that price w a stick. Typical 1950's looking and staff was friendly. Easy, good food and affordable.

Being from Az and going to the well known 5 & Diner there we had seen this place and it reminded us of home so we decided to pop in for a diner style meal. The decor is SUPER kitschy and fun which we really enjoyed....the staff friendly when we walked in and the menu looked yummy. I had ordered the Atomic chicken wrap which comes with blue cheese dressing but asked for ranch instead and my husband ordered the chicken fried steak dinner which comes with a soup and a roll.... before. The waitress walked by number of times and never brought the soup. When she finally brought our meal she mentioned she had forgotten it and will bring it right out.....ok no worries. As i bite into my wrap the dressing made me want to cringe ( im pregnant and super sensitive to things) and i knew right away something was off. Was it just me? Perhaps...so i kept on eating a few more bites. I undid my wrap to discover that it was in fact blue cheese on my wrap. My question is.....how the hell can you mess up an order that i saw you WRITE DOWN?!?! By now i was full and didnt want to bother making a fuss out of it. She (the waitress) came over and sat the check down...no offering dessert or shakes .....just "ill be the cashier when youre ready". What if we wanted something? When she sat the check down my husband asked for a refill on his drink.....which he never received after she, walked by the table 5 times ....but when she came to clear plates she asked is he still wanted it....Um no! Do they hire people with no brains? I really wanted to like this place but the serviced we received was just crappy. Will i be back?? Possibly but definitely will get a different server or may just try a different location.

Oh, Gunther....you crazy crazy cat. The atmosphere is cheesy, but fun. The waitstaff always says "Hey, what's shakin?" when you walk in, and they are encouraged to engage in witty banter at your table. Some are more successful than others at the witty part. =). The ladies are dressed up in period clothes, and some of the dudes do the greaser thing. All in all it's a fun place to grab a quick, decent meal, so long as you don't mind a side of CHEESE. The food is pretty good for the price/portion. I usually get the veggie burger with jalepenos and guacamole. I can get it on a wheat bun, and a side of fruit instead of fries for a healthy meal. The veggie patty they use is really thick and honestly tastes better than the beef they use for the regular burgers. It's not bad at all, and on 5 cent wednesdays I can get 2 for the price of 1 plus 5 cents. The fried catfish is also quite good if you want a greasy calorie bomb. They also have some cheap breakfasts that are pretty good. Like, less than 5 bucks cheap. Gotta love that. I keep wanting to make a Back to the Future reference, so I'll just say that eating at Gunther Toody's is my density.

Snore. Boring, boring, boring. I know it's a chain and I really didn't expect more than what I got, but still a disappointment. The coffee was weak and tepid (and when my companion asked for sweetner for her coffee, the waitress just flung a few packets on the table - like we were annoying her). My huevos was meh - not actively bad, but not great - maybe three stars, if I'm being kind. Granted, we were there on a Sunday morning, but the staff all seemed majorly hungover and annoyed to have to be working (they were all dressed up in their Halloween costumes, so it seemed especially odd that they were so out of sorts). As long as you're in the land of the chain restaurant, do yourself a favor and just go on over to Einstein's - at least they know how to brew a decent cup of coffee.

GT is a decent attempt at the retro Diner experience. Word is Sarah Palin did a little campaign stomping here during the '08 Presidential run. I mostly thought it necessary to post a review here to notify you that they do have a decent breakfast meal per calories per dollar. And while you'd be missing out an quality ground sausage, they do have some excellent Polish sausage. And we all know how hard it can be to find Polish sausages these days. A good friend and I used to frequent the place on weekday morning to discuss our thoughts/reactions to the latest Kierkegaard book we were reading. He was a bigger fan than I. It fits the typical bland American taste buds rather well

My sister-in-law meet up for breakfast . This Saturday morning we choose to eat breakfast here before Christmas shopping. Well the waitress, Betty Boop was there to greet us at our table and take the order right away. We ordered coffee and water as well. It took her 10 minutes to bring our beverage...OK forgiven! Then she brought the food as it came off the line in no time at all. Excellent! 15 minutes after that we were looking around for her for to get a refill on our coffee and so when we show her again in the corner I stood up and lifted my cup so she see we wanted more coffee, well that's when she remarked she has other customers and is "all by herself". Now it's getting interesting. There were only 3 other tables occupied in the restaurant. This is supposed to be a comfortable setting for a morning meal and after coming for years we will have to consider other options. As we were paying the bill she made the comment about me just having and bad day...

The atmosphere is great. They have 50's Greasy Spoon Diner thing going on. The uniforms match and some of the guys even grease their hair back. If you crave greasy diner food and nostalgia with 50's themed props and costume, this is the place to check out. The set-up is not that different from Johnny Rockets, maybe with a little less pricey menu. To break it down, the The Hang Ten Burger is very similar to Red Robbin's Banzai burger, but it can't even compete, that's why I couldn't understand why my boyfriend would even consider ordering that, after having tried it at Red Robin's and knowing how good it is. We ask to upgrade our fries to the Elvis fries, meh, not that special. Probably wiser to stay with regular fries because their sweet potato fries are really good. Probably the best I've ever had. Thin cut almost like McDonald's fries, they were very crispy all the way through. They were alongside a Monte Cristo sandwich which was so doughy you could taste the baking soda! But my first time trying a fried sandwich dipped in jelly was still a somewhat great experience! To balance it a little, we asked for a Popeye salad, the ingredients were great but the dressing sucked - too tangy, all you taste was sour, sour, sour. Couldn't really savor it, downed the veggies with a frown. However, the Jalapeno Cornbread Muffin that came with the salad was delish! One of the best I've had. The sweet and savory and spicy flavors were held in very well with a perfectly baked cornbread muffin. Mmmmmm, if they have a drive-thru, I'd be using it for just the muffins and sweet potato fries. We couldn't leave without trying the shake. Maybe it was wrong to get a fancy Fudge Brownie Shake? Everybody here says the basic chocolate shake is very good. But I remember having much better shakes at Chili's and Cheeburger Cheeburger.

I will say that my food was a 4 star. Tasty, greasy, cheap, hot and fresh. My service on the other hand was what brought this down. i went to this place with my grandmother who really wanted a burger. I brought her here and we were seated quickly. past that the service went down hill. Our food came out hot but with about 5 mins between our order. our server forgot to bring us one of our drinks till after we were done eating. She also forgot to bring us another silverwear set. After asking her 4 times she came by and threw it on the table. Not placed but threw. I got up to wash my hands and when I came out the fire alarm started screaming. I looked around and saw no one freaking out so went back to my grandmother. We sat down waiting for our bill to get to us as the alarm was going off and after sitting there for 10 mins our server walked up and asked if we wanted to go boxes. We said yes but would prefer our ticket so we can get out of the screaming alarm. To add to this crap serves rather than saying something like "OH! I'm sorry let me get that to you!" she says "oh...i thought i got that to you already awhile ago" and she walked off to hand us our check with things wrong up wrong on it. Rather than say anything we just wanted to end this lunch and paid our bill and left.

Following sunrise Easter service at Red Rocks (very cool, btw!), we checked out Gunther Toody's. Perhaps b/c it was early, our server seemed slightly personality-less despite the reputation of Gunther Toody's servers having some major attitude. The memorabilia covering the walls is fun to peruse and the sign inside the women's bathroom made us do a double-take (you'll have to visit to see for yourself) but the food wasn't great and my friend said the coffee was horrible (she didn't finish it). I wouldn't return; there's got to be a better breakfast place in the area.

This is a fun place with great food. The service is good and the atmosphere is fun. It would be a solid five stars if the food came out a bit faster. We have been there twice for breakfast and both times it took a while for our food.

I must admit, I was not expecting much from this place but I was pleasantly surprised. Our meals were pretty tasty, the recipes were refreshing and the shakes were tall and rich. Gunther Toody's seems to be more than your average attempt at a 50's Diner/Greasy Spoon. I would definitely eat here again!

It's a neat little place with an unusual flair. But that's why people come here. I used to love the vibe when I was a kid, but it doesn't appeal to me as much as an adult. Food is pretty decent, but nothing special. I get why people come here, but I know why I am not all that into it anymore.

Just had dinner there with my husband and three children. The food was of a very poor quality. Where to begin....two of my children ordered mac and cheese. It came out looking very dry-the way it looks when it has been reheated. My daughter's serving confirmed this for me, as it had a rectangular shape to it. My husband and son both ordered what I consider to be standard diner fare...a burger and fries and a BLT. All extremely dry...with the possible exception of the fries...which I wouldn't know, as my son made the mistake of ordering his with cheese. The fries came out smothered with what appeared to be some sort of nasty cheese soup. The menu is also extremely overpriced for the quality of food. Good service but honestly the hi-light for me was watching "The Little Rascals" on the TV and giggling with my children over the rectangle of mac and cheese. Customers are definitely paying for the atmosphere at this place.

Great New England clam chowder (just like back East); the clams were very tender. Archie, our waiter, was enthusiastic, friendly and was spot-on with his timing. Food arrived quickly, no complaints there. We've only been here a couple times, but my kids love this place. My wife went for the first time tonight and enjoyed it as well. The fish 'n chips had a nice thin and crispy batter. Perfectly cooked and the fish melted in your mouth. Previously, we have enjoyed various dinner items and burgers and found the quality consistently good to great. One caveat, the Boca burger was a bit too mushy; thought I'd try it as comparison with the other burgers. (Stay with the beef!). This was the first food item not exactly to our liking, so don't read too much into it. With the burgers and meals that come with fries, you'll get enough to share. This is true with many portions. Save room as the milk shakes are old fashioned and can't really be beat. Ask to sit in Archie's section (for five star service)!

Always a treat. Good breakfast great price...and brings back so many memories of when my daughter got her first job. I don't eat in often because the noise level is very high. A little too much excitement for me...and always lit up. Don't pass it up. Edit to the review : got my food home...THE ORDER WAS COMPLETELY WRONG! NO PANCAKES...French Toast with no syrup or butter. And the hash browns half cooked. I should have checked it before I left. How frustrating.

Good diner food, complete with 50's style culture inside. This is a Colorado chain so, being from Maryland, I'd never heard of it. It's about like our Cheeburger Cheeburger if you're from the Old Line State. Anyway, this is a great spot to get your fill of some quality comfort food. I hear they make hand-dipped chicken tenders from scratch and they are supposed to be a big hit. I didn't try them but will on my next visit. I went with the Patty Melt and it was hugely filling.

This 50's themed diner is meh. It's mildly over priced and the food and shakes are so-so. It isn't horrible, but I'm not anxious to return. Do not order the French Dip sandwich, the Au jus is waaaaay too salty.

This is a very typical 50's-themed joint with as expected service and food quality. I appreciated the free soup with my platter. Please turn the heat down on the clam chowder. It was served so hot that it was palatable as an appetizer. I could only enjoy a bit of it with my meal.

I don't vusit very often but is always pleasantly surprised with the food and service. The breakfast is amazing will make Gunther Toodys more of a go to place in the future. :)

Don't bother. Service AND food were horrible. I would never go back.

Lulu at Littleton Gunther Toody's is a great waitress. She is knowledgeable, fun and gives great service. This is a fun place to eat. The prices are also reasonsable. I have made this a regular food stop and enjoy going there.

Great diner food, quick. Good breakfast special during the week. We like to order sandwiches for dinner if we ate looking for something quick.

Babs did a great job serving breakfast! Food was plentiful and above average. Cute decor.

Fun place for a 50's diner experience. Good variety of food and service was pretty good. Went for lunch, but I haven't tried breakfast yet. I'll remedy that soon enough.

This 50's themed diner is meh. It's mildly over priced and the food and shakes are so-so. It isn't horrible, but I'm not anxious to return. Do not order the French Dip sandwich, the Au jus is waaaaay too salty.

Food was "meh". Service was "meh" Really cute decor, vibe, and decent menu, and I would give it another try if I live in CO, but was really expecting more. I know it's a diner, but I've been to some great diners.

Fantastic service, great food and awesome decor! I've never had a bad experience at this location. Every now and then the burgers are a little too greasy but none the less delicious.

This is our go to breakfast place. We're here at least weekly. The kids love it and there's always something I'm craving. Their Big Bopper breakfast deal during the week is really affordable.

This is a very typical 50's-themed joint with as expected service and food quality. I appreciated the free soup with my platter. Please turn the heat down on the clam chowder. It was served so hot that it was palatable as an appetizer. I could only enjoy a bit of it with my meal.

Can't beat the boppers! Best diner in town! Breakfast is awesome, great prices and best diner atmosphere in town!
