Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Not a bad place to eat, great Lo Mein. The reason for the lower star is the wontons barely had any filling, both times we ordered from there. Also the chicken lettuce wraps didn't have good pieces of lettuce twice, the filling was awesome so I wish the lettuce would have been better. Fast delivery, nice staff.

Yikes, I used to order from Golden Boar all of the time 4 or 5 years ago, but wow they have gone downhill. I hadn't ordered from this restaurant in about 18 months after a not too great experience, but we decided to and man what a mistake. The first sign of something amiss is that the delivery driver sat in his car at the end of my driveway having a very animated "conversation" for literally 12 minutes before he actually rung the door. Seriously? By the time the food actually got to my table, it was cold. The "House Noodle Soup" is...well, a TON of noodles. I like noodles, but this is about a pound of bland, white, noodles. A few pieces of "meat" that is difficult to identify punctuated the noodles, and literally about 1/2 a cup of funky flavored broth ties together the dish. All in all, a waste of $7.50. The crab cheese wontons are way over cooked. The cream cheese is now solidified after being hammered in a deep fryer. Finally, I ordered pork fried rice and got pork lo mein. I will not be ordering from this place again.

My family has a continued tradition of eating at this restaurant. Tonight I ordered delivery. An hour and a half later I found myself grabbing for my baseball bat when my sister was screaming because a random person walked through the front door. This company is employing a man with no respect for personal domain. I will never order from them again.

I ordered through grub hub. A lady called me to let me know they were out of the sweet and sour chicken so I said just give me some egg rolls instead but I had already paid so because of the difference I ordered orange chicken instead. It was delivered very quick and the driver was so friendly! Then when I opened my bag they had thrown in some egg rolls for free! The food was also hot and delicious. Will continue to order from them!

I ordered from this place when I really didn't want to drive in the snow. They had an extensive and healthy menu which I was happy about. Their food is delish and their delivery service was fast. Will definitely order from them again :)

this place consistently delivers high quality food. the cook makes you feel like family and will cook to your needs (able to accommodate dietary restrictions such as gluten free). if you want authentic Asian food with American quality standards, this is the place to go!!

I am going to begin writing this review before the food even gets here, because I'm terribly hungry and I have to distract myself. I ordered for delivery and my order was: Lg Wonton+Egg Drop soup Sesame Shrimp Egg Rolls Thai Iced Tea (Free) "Cheese Wontons" *crosses her fingers and waits for the knock on the door* I swear I did Kermit arms after the food got here. OK, so the shrimp - LOTS of it. I was surprised. It's about $12 on the menu, so you hope they will be generous, but not all places are. There were more than a dozen, and they were juicy and I didn't see a poop line even once (sorry, that's part of my restaurant shrimp judgment list). The breading was soggy, but I'm not going to judge on that, because it all got thrown in a Styrofoam container and delivered in a car. Kinda hard to keep stuff like that crisp. The sauce was really nice, and a nice alternative from a lot of the "sesame" sauces I've had that just taste like straight sugar. I tasted what I think was a decent amount of sesame oil in this, and I liked it. The dish is listed as "spicy" and when I ordered it online, I was asked how spicy I wanted it, and I chose the spiciest and it...just didn't turn out that spicy. But, maybe I'm just jaded, as a spice addict. Overall, it was delicious. The soup here is always good, so I'm not surprised about that. They have really good Hot and Sour soup, too. Egg rolls were good, as were the Cheese Wontons. Neither were super greasy, either, which was appreciated. Thai Iced Tea was a little watered down (like the ice had been sitting in it), but what the hell did I expect from delivery thai iced tea :P I'm still enjoying it. No charge for delivery - and, I think that's possibly just within a certain area - but, I wasn't charged.

My family and I have been eating at the Golden Boar since it opened a few years ago. The food is phenomenal (try the sesame and or cashew sauce). The staff is so friendly and helpful, especially Fen (who owns it with her husband). Great restaurant.

The good- Sauces were tasty, Thai spring roll was good, Driver was friendly The bad- Crab and cheese wonton was either frozen or left over from the lunch buffet (I would say a combination of both) The ugly- Twice cooked pork was just that, cooked last week and reheated for my dish today- Severly dissapointed The only reason it got 2 stars was the friendly service and tasty sauces, otherwise it was a disaster.

Service is fast and the food is good. Hot and sour soup doesn't disappoint! The sesame chicken, orange chicken, and beef lo mein is really good! Mongolian beef is mediocre at best though. I'll be back!

I recently moved to the area from Wash Park, and was therefore a little bummed about leaving behind my most favorite food establishments. Let's be honest: Littleton just can't compare to the food scene downtown. I quite literally stumbled upon the Golden Boar on accident while in the area prior to moving day. Hungry, tired and exausted from a rigorous house closing process, I gave this place a try. Located in a strip mall, I will admit that the outter appearance is not the most attractive. Didn't your mother ever tell you not to judge a book by its cover? Mine did, and she is always right. So. I ordered the Pad Thai on my first night and havent looked back. While not THE absolute best Pad Thai I have ever had (my fav is currently Noodles 'n Co, but thats a completely different story altogether. Don't you judge me.), theirs is pretty fantastic. I decided to be naughty and ordered the combination Pad Thai, which I get every single time I eat here now. Delicious. The absolute perfectly cooked amount of medium-spicy noodles, tender chicken, beef and huge shrimp. The sauce is spot on; not too saucy or runny, and NOT radioactive orange like how some places make their pad thai. If I wanted to eat a crayon, I defintely wouldn't be capable of typing this up. Golden Boar's PT is even better the next day, heated up. Let me also mention that their portion sizes are massive for the price. My Pad Thai lasts well into the next 2 days after taking it home from the restaurant. Such rad comfort food, which I'll admit I eat sparingly. I am sure the calorie count is in the quadruple-digits, but hey...sometimes you just want to eat something that is yummy AND bad for you. My boyfriend also really likes the General Tso's chicken here, and he remains a fan of ordering this each time we eat here as well. As for the overall ambience of this place, the staff is friendly and efficient. Prices are cheap and service is fast, but not TOO fast. I like this place and am very happy to have found it.

Quick, tasty Chinese food. Love chatting with the owner.

I've eaten here numerous times and really like the food especially the chicken fried rice. My daughter loves the sesame chicken. The server is friendly & remembers what we like. This is the only Chinese restaurant I like in the area. I am a fan & will continue eating here.

I went here for take out one night and was very disappointed. I ordered crab rangoon and pad thai. It was the least flavorful food I've ever eaten at a Chinese restaurant.
