Bacco Trattoria Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

After a few visits that never disappointed, it was sad that Bacco's billing turned up on our credit card with a tweaked final charge. Small though the change was, we're puzzled at how it could have even been done. We were a party of two with no minimum tip required. As for the food and service, it has always been top-notch. I marvel at the quality and variety Bacco puts out of their miniscule kitchen. We've never run afoul of the gigs they received by the local health review and so we sometimes wonder about the weighting and priority given to these things ( jeffco.us/amandaitoirf/e… ). But with the billing thing, we're reluctant to go back...

I love their food, but they close early and often neglect things their customers request. I also noticed while we were eating the other customers had similar complaints to us.

AMAZING. We were searching for somewhere to go on yelp and decided to try it. The pizza was delicious - they don't skimp on the prosciutto. I had the fiocchi di Pera - Homemade four cheese pear purses with pecorino Romano cream sauce topped with arugula and dried mission figs. It was to die for. The staff was very friendly and on the ball. The food was out amazingly fast. Great spot to get some fresh, authentic Italian.

This small, family-owned restaurant is very high on my list when it comes to Italian. The service is wonderful along with the food. The first time I got some ravioli dish and I wasn't too impressed, although it was good. The second time I got the Pollo Arrosto and it was delicious! Their desserts are very good too. Definitely make room for that. Also a good appetizer to try is the Avocado Bruschetta. Very rich buy yummy! I give this restaurant 5 stars because I believe in supporting small business, the food is great, and the place is quaint. If it's a Weekend night, definitely call in to make reservations. There isn't a whole lot of seating and they fill up quick. A must go if you're looking for a good Italian place.

Love this restaurant! I'm glad there's actually a place with some good Italian food on this side of town. I like that you get a pesto dip for your bread, it's delicious. And I like that there's some interesting choices on the menu, instead of just pizza and chicken parmesan, etc. Wonderful risotto and gnocci and interesting raviolis. I will be back!

Went the other night with parents and was pleasantly surprised as was not expecting much. we started out with the misti appetizer plate which is selection of olives, meats and cheeses which was very good. In regards to main orders I ordered the alfredo and it was solid. The other meals were just as substantial as mine and the service was good. However I just thought of this place as just a nice place to visit the parents now and then but in regards to a dining experience I don't think it merits a four star rating.

My husband and I love coming here. The food is always spectacular and the service is friendly and still professional. This is definitely a hidden gem in a strip mall. We love how the menu changes with the seasons. The lamb was melt in your mouth tender. The mushroom ravioli left me wanting to lick my plate. Highly recommend!!!

Have had wonderful Italian dinners here along with a rather inquisitive wine list. The red wine selections are superb and they'll even decant them if you ask. Matteo was our waiter from the stars. He was wonderful with his food suggestions along with the wine list. Food and service was prompt, courteous and surprising for small venue in the 'burbs. Will return many more times. Myself and my guest both use wheelchairs for our mobility and they have met our needs every time with graciousness. This goes a long way in our world. Thanks again for many delicious dinners and wines enjoyed with my fellow diners and the wonderful staff at Bacco, they are my family now too. Dennis

This place will make heaven on a plate. It doesnt matter what you order- It will be perfection. The kitchen is small and looks like someone's home. It's open and you get to watch the chef and cooks move like a well oiled machine presenting plate after plate. It's a great place to bring a date.

We relocated to Littleton from Wash Park, and recently decided to search for a decent Italian place in our new area. We noticed right off that this tiny little restaurant sits in a strip mall and is not very big on the inside. However, the decor was homey and cute. They serve a basket of bread prior to the meal with a wonderful pesto dip (which I loved, boyfriend didn't). I ordered the Italian Wedding soup and practically drank the last drop out of the cup - very nice taste; comforting and hot. When our entrees arrived, we were pretty shocked at the very small amount of tuna that my boyfriend got. The tuna steak itself was about the size of the palm of my hand (and I have smaller hands). The entree mentioned that the tuna also came with fingerling potatoes, and we counted; there were three in the entire dish, sliced in half. While the tuna dish was very good, beware - that one entree cost us just over $20. I said something to our server and she brought my boyfriend a cup of soup that she did not charge us for - a nice gesture. My entree, the lasagna, was AWESOME. Covered in a nice tomato-basil sauce, it was gooey and cheesy and it was gone in about 5 minutes. My boyfriend really liked my entree as well. I will totally come back to this place for that alone.

First timer~Local place delivers decent Italian. Veal Scallopine was chewy but sauce was spot on. I asked for roasted potatoes i/o mashed. They were barely a searing on the tots. More like boiled and tossed in the pan without enough heat. Branzino was popular on our table of 8 but I tasted it, fresh frozen was alll I was thinking when I bit into it. Chicken Parm~ not good, rubbery, too much sauce Big portion of lasagna~ first time out, center was cold. 2nd one, came out steamy hot within minutes? Does it hit the microwave at that point? Penne pasta substitute was great for another entree side. Had the right amount of seasoning of garlic, red pepper flakes and not oily in taste. The waiters wine choices were good. Dishes came out sporatically~

We had a pretty serious Italian craving and since we're still new to the area had no idea where to take care of our craving! We did remember seeing Bacco while driving down Kipling, and decided to go on a random Wednesday night. SO glad we did!!! We were the 2nd party in at about 5:30, and we were able to choose our table. It was still Happy Hour, so were were able to take advantage of the 1/2 price glasses of wine offered. The Prosecco was chilled and lovely! From there, we ordered a Caesar salad and the bruschetta. Both were delicious! The salad was not drenched in dressing and the bruschetta had an abundance of garlic. For an entree I had the fettuccine con fungi (fettuccine with mushrooms, cream sauce, peas and prosciutto) which was fabulous! The noodles were al dente and it was just a tasty dish. We met the owner, Leslie, whom was very nice and came to check on us as well. So happy this place is so close to home!

My wife and I are on a mission to try restaurants we've never been too in the metro area. This one was a little out of the way, but not pretentious with a very relaxed atmosphere, affordable with good food. We enjoyed dinner with our sometimes loud 2 year old - and he was welcomed by the staff and other patrons (and enjoyed the buttered noodles). My wife and I had the salmon with gnocci in a pesto cream sauce and the Linguine Pollo E Carciofi...both decent, human-sized portions - good, but not lick-my-plate great. The service was a B+. Value to deliciousness was a B. It's a place that is worth a try...

My husband, son & I just had dinner at this wonderful Italian Bistro to celebrate our son's 16th birthday. WOW!!! I had tried this food at our catered board meetings, but actually dining at this cozy bistro was a wonderful, relaxing and delicious experience. It reminded me & my husband of our long-ago (pre-kids) vacation in Rome and Capri Italy. My son, who is very picky, LOVED their lasagna so much he ate half of my husband's (who is 6'4" tall); I LOVED the arugula salad with preserved lemons, goat cheese and pancetta (Italian bacon); my lamb chops with figs, eggplant and zucchini compote was orgasmic and David's complimentary tiramisu for his birthday dessert was gobbled up before my husband and I could have any, though I did steal a quick bite when David wasn't looking!:) I also had a side plate of spaghetti with red sauce, which David sprinkled with parmesan cheese and devoured! Their red sauce clearly has a touch of cream and other secret & magical ingredients (the chef and owner was not about to tell :) but I am great at guessing ingredients. The service by Marissa was very special and attentive and even elegant with her patience as I decided what I wanted to drink and eat with the details of someone buying a first house. Roxy was also great and always made sure our water glasses were filled with icy water. A wonderful experience was had by the three of us, and now David will never again be satisfied with what passes for Italian food in Denver.

Went on a tuesday night at about 7pm. The bread and pesto sauce they bring out is great- really creamy and delish. I got the salmon with pesto gnocchi and my friend got the shrimp risotto something dish. We both LOVED our dishes. The pesto cream sauce on my gnocchi was excellent and the salmon was cooked well. This was my first time there and I will definitely go back.

So I've eaten here once, with family and in-laws and I was thrilled to find real Italian food in Littleton. Really good. If this restaurant were in Boulder I would have given it only four stars vs. the alternatives, but given the lack of alternatives in suburban Denver, it gets a higher rating. We got there early, enjoyed the happy hour wine specials and loved our meal. Friendly staff and the co-owner was chatty and pleasant.

I went to Bacco Trattoria with a party of 20 and it's possible that we overwhelmed the kitchen. That could explain why others give this place glowing reviews. Unfortunately, I can't be as kind. The service was good throughout the evening, and it was really the food to blame. They started us with bread and pesto sauce. The bread was cold and not particularly interesting, though the pesto was nice. I ordered the Tagliatelle Gamberi (shrimp, asparagus and tomatoes in a cream sauce with tagliatelle pasta) and the wait wasn't extraordinarily long considering we were all on separate checks. A table next to ours let their children run around, and our waitress managed to dodge them every time. Though it came with a fair number of shrimp, they were all overcooked. The asparagus was largely stalks instead of tips. It arrived with a crust on the sauce, and that usually means that it had been sitting under heat lamps for a bit. The pasta was overdone. I ate the shrimp and a bit of the rest but left about half of my meal. I asked a few others at my table how their food was and only one out of the six enjoyed her food completely. Everyone else said it was either "fine" or "not very good" and they said they wouldn't go out of their way to eat there again. I feel the same -- I probably won't be back. Again, it may have been that we overwhelmed the place, but it didn't seem like there were any issues. The servers didn't seem flustered and no one apologized for anything being out of the ordinary. You have to try new places to find the true gems, though, and I would recommend skipping this one.

I've been to Bacco a couple times for lunch - definitely a little tricky to get there. Don't expect a big crowd during lunch time. I've been their by myself before, but I didn't mind. They have a nice patio out front. Their lunch menu is pretty vast. Both times, I've got a panini, which comes with kettle chips. While their panini are not grilled, they are still flavorful and a great deal considering how much food you get. I also recommend their minestrone - it's rich and hearty. Haven't had any issues with service, but they have never been too busy. Check them our during lunchtime!

If you are looking for AUTHENTIC Italian, you will never find anything better than Bacco Trattoria! This little gem might be hard to find, but well worth the trek! The menu iswell balanced and provides ample choice for any pallette or budget. Being of Italian descent, the atmosphere is just like the many hours I spent in my Italian Grandmother's home - intimate, friendly and makes you want to linger for hours!

Eat here if you enjoy sitting with strangers and eaves dropping on conversations, because the seating is insanely packed. There are seats in this restaurant that are so close to neighboring seats that the waiter can talk to both tables as if they were there together, which they might as well be. We made reservations for 7pm, we got there on time, yet we were asked to wait in the waiting station/host stand/ beverage storage area/ managers area by the front door until 7:30, which was also two feet from a couple having dinner. What I'm saying is- there is no waiting area, you have to stand in the way of the staff in their wait station. This restaurant is tiny and they are greedily trying to squeeze out too many tables. There ambiance is terrible, most couples sit uncomfortably silently, afraid of being listened to by the table next to them, meanwhile loud boisterous groups of what seemed to be regulars seated in the middle scream at one another drunkenly. The food is slathered in butter, my salmon easily had 2 cups of butter, I couldn't eat it. Would never go back, do not recommend if you are looking for a nice dinner with conversation.

My partner and I had a wonderful dinner. The bread and pesto was amazing! I wish a dinner salad was included with our meal. The service was good... Our waitress chose my meal for me, which is always an adventure! She chose well, the chicken and risotto was the best I've ever had. Watching the chef cook was a treat. We'll definitely be back!

I love this place. I've been three times: service is great, food is exceptional, and it doesn't resemble, at all, any of the plentiful and nasty chain restaurants in Littleton where the decor is different but the food is all the same. I love the off-beat atmosphere and love that I can see what's going on in the kitchen. I get their spicy pasta which I love and find the bread crusty and delicious.

Not impressed and got sick. First, the restaraunt feels like a work or school cafeteria - - very open in a weird space that must have been something else before it was Bacco. We were close to another table and the server kept walking by and smacking my chair. i would think an excuse me or can I move your table so I don't hit you again, but no. Plus the espresso machine was a mere 2 feet from our table randomly isolated against a wall, so we were ever so close to the servers. I ordered the veal marsala and it was the WORST veal marsala dish I have ever had, and probably the worst meat dish I ever had. It was more like veal jerky - -it tasted like it was cooked a few times so it was tough and crusty - - not even close to "tender" which one would expect. It was actually shocking that it was allowed to come out of the kitchen this way since it had dark brown sear marks on it so it was clearly over cooked. The sauce was bleh and barely any mushrooms were served on top of lukewarm mashed potatoes. I ordered the pistachion gelato which was good but was more soupy - - -definiteley not cold enough. I had ordered an espresso with my dessert but it never came so I had to remind the server. The big bonus was that I got so sick to my stomach from the food that I could not eat the next day so it ruined my weekend.

OK, let me start by saying this place has HUGE potential - but they are not there yet. Pros: (1) They have a nice patio in front, and it is OFF the street. Why anyone would want to sit on the many patios in 80123 that are right on a main road, is beyond me (though I can see this patio being HOT in the mid-day). (2) Relatively large menu - more items than the other Italian restaurants in 80123. (3) Great pizza! I am a pizza lover, and I am always looking for good pizza. This place has it. Cons: (1) I had the same experience as other reviewer: food was late and I am sure it was because it was never ordered (they did comp us one (1?) glass of wine; and apparent owner/manager is just annoying. Both times I have been there she has been non-attentive and/or making saucy remarks to staff, and/or socializing with friends getting special attention (I get it). (2) The atmosphere is not cozy: the hard floor and open kitchen are cons in my opinion; I'd prefer to see some carpeting and lower ceiling... I will go again, probably for pizza, but only until Virgilio's opens. Bacco had better kick it up a notch when that happens...

This is by far the best Italian food in Littleton. All of the entrees I've had have been fabulous, and they have a great happy hour appetizer menu. They also have weekly economic relief take-out packages that are excellent.

Visited this restaurant at 470 & Kipling for lunch and was pleasantly surprised at the serene setting, good food and excellent service. We ate the grilled sliced sirloin beef with fresh herbs and garlic with arugula, tomatoes and roasted potatoes, which was beautifully marinated, tasty, tender and delicious and the pizza margherita, which was good but not as great, because it lacked fresh tomatoes and was light on the fresh basil. But the service was terrific and knowledgable. It wasn't crowded, so we hope it keeps going.

We had a lovely dinner at Bacco Trattoria. The four of us shared the salmon carpaccio appetizer - thinly sliced smoked salmon with apples and artichoke aoli - which was fabulous and priced at $7. I had a delicious stew of fresh fish (salmon), shrimp, mussels and calamari in a spicy red broth (Caciucco). The only negative was they were out of clams, but substituted add'l shrimp. They were also out of the grilled lamb chops, which my son ordered, so he had a chicken, eggplant and proscuitto dish,(Pollo a la Sorrentina) which he enjoyed. My daughter-in-law had a red wine risotto dish with italian sausage and gorgonzola and mushrooms (Risotto di Manzo Chianti). My husband enjoyed Pollo Saltimbocca. All entrees were priced extremely reasonably - $15 - $20. We had a babysitter so we took our time and wandered through two bottles of Santa Christina Chianti. Good service. Sadly, no room for dessert. Excellent neighborhood restaurant.

I have been coming here since they opened because I liked their food, but they have been hit or miss. If they are busy, their quality is lower. Last night our waiter, Alex, forgot to order our food. After about 40 min., he said there was a "mix-up" in the kitchen and it would be right out. Then we watched food going to tables that came in 20-30 min. after us. I called him over and asked him if he FORGOT to order our food and he said yes, sorry. That was it. He paced in front of the cook until our food came out rushed and it showed. My husbands spaghetti was hard, my carbonara was swimming in sauce. The ambivalent owner who was sitting at the next table chatting with friends didn't notice us languishing there or didn't care. She came over later while my husband was just staring at his food and said all cheery, "Are we taking good care of you tonight?" and we were both so dumbfounded that we just stared at her unable to form any words! 45 minute wait for mediocre pasta dishes, inexperienced servers and owner add up to go somewhere else and spend your money.

This place is a nice casual restaurant. It is not a fancy overpriced woopty Doo Italian restaurant but the food is phenomenal! They probably could charge twice as much. The place is open and small and you can see the chef cooking your food in front of you since they have a open kitchen. If you are looking for phenomenal Italian food and you want to pay a decent price and not pay through the nose for atmosphere. This is the place to go. It's usually open for lunch and dinner hours and Fridays and Saturday evenings are packed. I think the person who created the menu originally was a top chef from Italy.

I read the reviews. I was excited. Real Italian? In Littleton? We went at 4:30 on a Friday. Place was empty and we were the first people there. Wine list was Ok- not what I expected, but Ok- it's a suburb strip mall joint. We needed a minute after getting the menu. We got 20. The wait staff had better things to do apparently. She and the other server were chatting. Ordered the Valpolicella- wine was WARM. I realized they have their wine caddy on the wall adjoining the kitchen. Ordered an app which was good, and dinner which was average to poor. The eggplant was thicky, seedy and pulpy. Not cooked all the way. Lobster ravioli tasted... dated. Since the ktichen is open, we peered in and saw a cook ( very young- high school?) wipe out a pan with a dish rag, bang it IN the garbage can to loosen debris, and the use it on the pan again. Sad and so grossed out. Will never eat here again. If they can deliver what the menu promises, that would be good. Poor service, poor food and not worth the time or money.

Wow! Amazing Italian food right across the parking lot from a huge competitor...which I have also reviewed a few times. Somehow I managed to miss this little gem just a few steps away. Service - amazing. Our server knew absolutely every dish on the menu and everything was superior in taste and preparation to their competitor across the street. The waitress has worked at this establishment for 6 years- she was really knowledgeable and helpful because the menu is definitely broad! Food- The bread and pesto that comes as a starter can fill you up alone!! We also ordered several of the appetizer/tapas plates...amazing! For dinner, I had a salmon dish with gnocchi tossed in pesto- looked amazing and tasted soo good! We also had the sausage risotto- it had a sweet balsamic glaze that I just couldn't believe how amazing the flavor profile was...I haven't sat and just enjoyed a bite of food like I did this dish in such a long time. There were two other dishes that were equally amazing for dinner. Dessert - can't go wrong with the tiramisu...and the portion is huge! Also we had the mascarpone cannoli...yum! This place is certainly a step above the rest....check it out for sure. It will be a staple in my local dining from now on!

Small, super casual and more the environment of a sandwich shop than fine restaurant, although you wouldn't know it by the total of our bill. Looking to explore a new place, it was our first visit here to meet old friends for appetizers, salads, entrees, wine, and ...well, we never got to desserts because they thought we were taking too long to enjoy our evening with friends, and asked us all to leave so they could sit another party. The waiter dropped the check on the table and asked us to come back another time. That's a first! Never to return! If you go here - Eat & Get Out! That's their motto.

Place is cute and small - would definitely come back. Ambitious menu that partially delivered. Good wine list. Bread and pesto was eh. Appetizer of barratt eh. Gnocchi with bolognese was amazing! Pasta fungi was good - lots of pancetta. I'm pretty hard on Italian places because I've been to Italy. Service was good people nice. Went on a Friday and no wait. Seems like a local place.

Tucked away in a small storefront-looking place in the sub-suburbs of the SW area is this amazing Italian restaurant. My trip there with my brother and his girlfriend was a wonderful experience for the tastebuds. The food is an ambitious and creative take on Italian favorites, with always fresh and interesting ingredients and often unexpected mixtures of tastes that create a kind of cinematic experience in your mouth. This place, with its nice, modern, but fairly plain decor packs all its amazingness into its utterly delicious and often astonishingly unexpected tastes. I was sold on the place when my appetizer--an Avocado Bruschetta with goat cheese spread, red onions, and a sweet red chili sauce--hit my mouth. I could not believe the delicious, interesting mixture of tastes that told a story to my tastebuds! And it continued from there through the meal. The service was excellent, friendly and communicative. Go there and enjoy. My only beef came right at the very beginning, even before my dinner partners had joined me. I ordered an iced tea. I got it, and after I had taken a number of sips I noticed a black spot in the middle of the ice. Fishing it out it proved to be a still unidentified small black square of. . .something. The waiter was quick to replace the beverage, checking the new glass carefully. Really, since the glasses were stored relatively close to the place where all the food preparation was going on, it could have been anything, just a little fleck of some vegetable, say. So, this was just a one-time incident and should not reflect on your enjoyjment of this wonderful little gem of a place.

I ventured into Bracco Trattoria with a couple of friends last Friday night for an early dinner. After driving by and seeing it for years and hearing another friend and co-worker rave about it, I had high hopes for some yummy, traditional Italian food of the non-chain variety. Man, was dinner super disappointing (and VERY expensive)!! First, the wine list. So very lacking in imagination and so very run-of-the-mill for an independent Italian restaurant. Yes, there are a few good offerings, but it's the same-old same-old here. Second, the bread and pesto. The bread was so dry I felt like I needed to dunk it in my water glass. The pesto? More like a mouthful of pureed parsley and grass. No basil flavor. No nutty flavor. Just ick. We started with the Avocado Bruchette. It was passable. The sweet chili sauce was okay, but tasted much like something you'd get out of the specialty food aisle at King Soopers. The avocado was mushy. It was served on the same dried out bread that we were given when we sat down. We all ordered salads/soups. I enjoyed my Caprese Salad, and I think my friend also enjoyed her Argugula Salad (although the pancetta was inedible because it soaked up all of the lemon dressing on the plate). The Minestrone Soup that was ordered by my friend's husband? Not enjoyed and tasted canned. I tried it too. Yuck. For dinner, we ordered the Lasagna, the Salmon Estivo, and the Capesante Rustico. After waiting nearly 30 minutes for our entrees, the Lasagna was promptly sent back to the kitchen. My friend's had ordered it and was able to take only one bite. It was bland, and frozen-food tasting. The waiter didn't ask if he'd like to choose something else, he just took the plate away. What?? The salmon on my friend's plate was totally overcooked, as were my scallops (mmmmm....rubbery seafood!), although the sauce was fairly tasty, but with no hint of sage as was described on the menu. The pancetta was super fatty and cheapy pancetta. I didn't eat it. The gnocci was passable, but nothing special. Throughout dinner, we had to flag our waiter down time and again, as well as the gentleman who was supposed to be refiling drinks, etc. Bad service, horrible food, and a long wait for it all = not coming back. We even skipped dessert even though this dinner was a birthday celebration dinner. Boo, Bracco Trattoria. Boo.

I love this Italian restaurant. They change the menu periodically, and the offerings are varied. Real Italian food-not just different shaped noodles with the same sauce on everything. Chicken salt imbues, home made sausages, best lasagna ever, gnocchi, lots of excellent food. Been eating here regularly since the place opened years ago. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is the ambience. The tables and chairs aren't the most comfortable. But hey, I love the food !!

First off, great service. Friendly, helpful, and constantly checking on us. I got the spaghetti and meatballs. The pasta was perfect, but the meatballs were surprisingly more spongy than other meatballs that I've had. I would come back, but I would likely avoid the meatballs. There were a lot of tasty things on the menu that I wanted to try, but for the first time to an Italian restaurant, I like to go a traditional route - because let's face it, spaghetti and meatballs should be one of, if not the best, dishes available. Anyways, it's a charming restaurant that was great for my impromptu lunch date with my husband.

Love this place! Really good Italian food. I could probably eat here everyday if need be. The mussels are amazing. When I have company come into town and don't want to blow my load ;-) on a pricey dinner I come to this little gem and get treated like a godfather.

Bacco is by far my most favorite restaurant. The food is great, servers are wonderful and I never leave displeased. Do yourself a favor and stop in and order the Pollo

I really want to like it but this is the second time I've been there and both times the food was cold- not warm but freezing cold. Half the people in our party had to send theirs back to be microwaved. Won't go back again.

Went there for tapas after work, and won't be going back. Our server was great, but the quality of the food was lacking. We had the salmon carpaccio, and it was decent. The tuna carpaccio we sent back because the tuna wasn't fresh - it tasted like it was bad or on the verge of going bad. The 2nd plate of tuna she brought out was fresher, but it was poor quality tuna. If you're going to serve raw tuna, it needs to be top notch sashimi grade and this just wasn't. The avocado bruschetta was an odd combo of flavors, but some may like it. The fennel salad menu description said it came with orange supremes, but it only came with a single sorry orange slice that looked like it came from the bar. And the salad lacked flavor. A lot of the reviews rave about the bread, but ours was less than average - not hot or crusty. Just a soft, unimpressive basket of bread. The pesto it came with was tasty, though. I got the spinach ravioli to go, and it was decent. Best food of the whole night, but not good enough that I'd go back. Management also needs to ensure that staff dress appropriately and professionally. The hostess' skirt was so short that it was embarrassing and cringe-worthy. Not appropriate for work!!

This is some of the best Italian food I"ve had recently. We ordered 3 different appetizers that did not disappoint. Their pesto is especially good. I also ordered Parmesan chicken and it was great. It didn't reheat well because the cheese was goopy (I have a thing about textures), but it was certainly good when the meal was fresh. Yum!

Worst restaurant experience in CO so far. Very skimpy meals, way overpriced. In the area, you can do so much better. We saw everyone else had bread. The 'delightful' server said to the people next to us recently seated that they're warming bread, it will be out soon. We never got that. At the end of our lousy overpriced meal, I asked if we should have had it. She said 'yes, but we ran out and you got your plates before the bread warmed up'. Too bad I guess? And it was snowy, not crowded at all. Like they were busy? It's unheard of to have an Italian place not have salad or bread or something. No discount on the bill, no explanation other than that 'too bad'. I ordered no-meat ravioli for nearly $15 and got 4 half-dollar sized, cold squishy medallions in grocery store sauce. Nothing else...it's chef boyardi repackaged for a ripoff. We don't eat big portions, but this was really, really cheap on their end. My friend asked at the end, 'so, where do you want to go for dinner?' There are so many options in the area. Go somewhere else.

I went for their happy hour with a friend. The food is fresh and very reasonable. We had the caprese salad, margerita pizza and shrimp scampi along with a couple of glasses of wine and the total including a $10 tip was under $50. I'll return for dinner sometime.

Horrible experience for two people for $125. 00. Terrible food - bland, bland bland. We sent food back to be warmed up (don't order eggplant, it was boiled), and it came back just as cold. Icky steak, grizzle and fat. Terrible service, we had to snag our own knife after we ate our first course. Waitress did not bring water or ask about beverage until flagged down. Terrible ambiance, there was a "kitchen issue" when we arrived and two hours later the place was still was full of smoke. Wish I could get my money back.

This is the best Italian restaurant I have been to in awhile. Yum. My only two complaints - the kids ravioli was actually way too small for my four year old (who is tiny), and I wish they had booths or at least a bit of coziness. The food was fresh, with some interesting options that I loved. All three of us have loved what we ordered so far. It is a bit more pricey than most of the Italian places around, and the atmosphere is nothing special, but the food makes it worth it.

Food is always good, but service is HORRIBLE. Disorganized, long waits. My wife and I had added this to our go to Italian place but the last two visits the service has seriously made us reconsider. There isn't anyone running the floor, and the servers clearly don't understand who has what table. Sitting outside adds to the disorganization. The food, delicious, well prepared and well portioned.

Thank goodness we had reservations, so that we could get inside and sit down. Hmmm. Small four top table was pretty crowded as soon as our server put down a basket of bread and a bottle of wine. I had a Caesar salad that was just a heart of romaine with some dressing drizzled on it, a few cherry tomatoes halved and set on the plate. I wish I had tried the Avocado bruschetta my wife had. Fabulous presentation and taste. The entrée I chose was Risotto with Sausage, since they were out of the Sea Bass and the Lobster Ravioli (at 6:30 pm). It was just okay, and was not very hot when it arrived at the table. Our server came by once, so I ordered a second glass of wine for my wife, but it took asking twice and the end of the meal for it to arrive. We won't be going back, it was too crowded, too noisy and too casual for the price we paid for our meal.

Favorite lunch spot in Littleton! Delicious FREE bread with an amazing pesto olive oil sauce. Large portions and I haven't had one dish I didn't like. The Insalata Grecca is my go to for a filling yet light lunch. My only complaint is that I wish this was closer to my apartment in Cap Hill.

We stumbled upon this place looking for something new and were pleasantly surprised. The food was good but the pasta was not homemade. The menu is too large to accomplish all the dishes successfully using homemade ingredients. However it is a solid choice for dinner.

Food was excellent. Great taste! My wife had the Linguine Pollo E Carciofi, very tasty. I am a creature of habit and always order Fettucine Alfredo at any Italian restaurant I go to. They did not have it on the main menu but, I found it on the children's menu. The waiter was happy to give me an adult order. One of the best tasting Fettucine Alfredo's I have had. The down side is that the portions were very small and overpriced, in my opinion. My wife and I are not alcohol drinkers, so we both ordered Cokes. The Cokes were served in cans and cost $2.00 each, with no refills. Will probably go back though.

Watch yourself! They will keep bringing you their delicious bread! Which comes with a delicious pesto butter, by the way. The feel is great, with an attentive wait staff. Every plate we've had was full of flavor, but none too rich. There's not much more I can say besides: go there, you won't regret it.

The flavor on everything was great. The service was above average but not out of this world. However, the kitchen messed up my order (the waitress put it in correctly) and the cook seemed perturbed about it. He sent out the correct pasta as a side but the second portion was only about 1/2 the size of what was originally sent. And the veal was overcooked. We'll be back though.

Excellent food! I came here today with a sparse appetite. Matthew our waiter was wonderful! He took care of us and helped me pick out a smaller dish and had wonderful recommendations. His service was prompt and not pushy! He made our experience complete! We received the best service from not only Matthew but the whole staff. The food was excellent as well. We started with the mussels which was in a spicy broth. This was absolutely superb! I also ordered a small simple pasta with a spicy tomato sauce. It was so simple yet incredibly delicious. My friend had a risotto with artichokes shrimp and pesto cream sauce. It was rich but had great flavor! I will be back again!

Excellent food. I really enjoyed the basil sauce with the bread. I salad had excellent use of chocolate syrup and the main dish I had spinach ravioli. It was one of the best ones I've had and the creamy vodka sauce was excellent as well. I was there at 1 pm past the lunch hour but the service was excellent as well. I would definitely recommend this place.

Absolutely love this place! We used to live over on that side of town and visited very frequently. We don't go as much anymore since moving in to Highlands Ranch, but we make a point of visiting out there as often as possible. Their bread and pesto is to die for. It's so fresh and light. Everything on their menu is good and it's great for a group with varied tastes. You can get dishes that range from rich and creamy to much lighter. Just writing this review is making me want to go for dinner!

Food and wine were great. Service was a little lacking, but friendly. We had the avocado bruschetta - my hubby loved, I thought it was pretty good. The Lasagna was $12.99 and AWESOME. Exactly what I wanted from a lasagna. We also had the sausage risotto. It was good, but rich and heavy. Next time I want Italian food, I will definitely go back here. Big menu selection. There were a lot of things that I want to come back and try.

BEST ITALIAN FOOD IN DENVER. I drive nearly 20 miles to go to this restaurant! The gnocchi Bolognese is absolutely spectacular, and everything is 100% homemade. I've brought dozens of friends and work associates to Bacco, and no one has EVER left disappointed. I usually have to take a loaf of bread and pesto to go - so delicious! Family owned, wonderful wait staff, all-around best date night restaurant by far!

Wow that lemon was fantastic.then we moved on to black linguini and clams and the grilled lamb chops fantastic.

Haven't had Italian like this since I was in Cinque Terra. Its all fantastic from the bread to antipasta to the meal. I had the steak at the waitress's recommendation. It was amazing. So was the cappuccino after.

I really want to like it but this is the second time I've been there and both times the food was cold- not warm but freezing cold. Half the people in our party had to send theirs back to be microwaved. Won't go back again.

Love this place! Really good Italian food. I could probably eat here everyday if need be. The mussels are amazing. When I have company come into town and don't want to blow my load ;-) on a pricey dinner I come to this little gem and get treated like a godfather.

I went for their happy hour with a friend. The food is fresh and very reasonable. We had the caprese salad, margerita pizza and shrimp scampi along with a couple of glasses of wine and the total including a $10 tip was under $50. I'll return for dinner sometime.

Dennis

This place will make heaven on a plate. It doesnt matter what you order- It will be perfection. The kitchen is small and looks like someone's home. It's open and you get to watch the chef and cooks move like a well oiled machine presenting plate after plate. It's a great place to bring a date.

We just love this place. Just do it's always great wouldn't want them to change a thing they got their groove going whether they change the menu now and then. Keep the old traditions it just doesn't seem to matter they do things intentionally to be excellent....can't beat that !

Love this place! Really good Italian food. I could probably eat here everyday if need be. The mussels are amazing. When I have company come into town and don't want to blow my load ;-) on a pricey dinner I come to this little gem and get treated like a godfather.

  • Dick B.

Dennis

Cozy little restaurant with a quirky atmosphere! Feels like you're sitting in the middle of a bustling Italian kitchen! Some of the freshest ingredients, unique and classic dishes at extremely reasonable prices! Good wine list!

This place will make heaven on a plate. It doesnt matter what you order- It will be perfection. The kitchen is small and looks like someone's home. It's open and you get to watch the chef and cooks move like a well oiled machine presenting plate after plate. It's a great place to bring a date.

Excellent Italian food! I don't know of another place like this in Littleton or Highlands Ranch. Had the Risotto with Italian sausage - deep and rich flavors. We are definitely coming back.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
