Great place. I stayed here one night during a recent backpacking trip. Peri and Ed actually drove out to pick me up from a trailhead and brought me back to their place, then gave me a ride to Copper Mountain to continue hiking the next morning. Talk about going above and beyond!

Great experience! Peri is terrific. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, each with a private bath (it may be across the hall, but it's exclusive to that suite). Would definitely stay again.

I had a wonderful stay at the Mountain Hide Away. Its close to Ski Cooper resort and their rates are very reasonable. The house was nicely heated with cozy bedrooms, clean bathrooms and all the basic amenities(towels, soap, etc) available. The bedrooms looks exactly as what's shown on the website, and it felt more cozy in person. The next day, we all woke up to the smell of delicious pancakes and enjoyed a great breakfast cooked by the hosts, Peri and Ed. They are friendly and very easy to talk to. My friends and I all agre that we'll definitely come back and stay here next time we goto Ski Copper :)

Excellent B&B in Leadville, CO. Kind, warm and casual atmosphere. Peri and Ed are very welcoming hosts. You feel more than like a person guest in their house than a place that you made a reservation at. Comfortable bed, great breakfast food. They also had fresh peaches from their yard and home baked cookies up for grabs the whole time we were there. The extra 'specialness' of this place and its owners were that they hosted at 3am breakfast for those involved in the leadville 100 for a race start of 4am. That is going above an beyond and I have to thank them for that. Would stay there again, absolutely.
